Review Celini - Mumbai

Mitesh Gandhi
Took my wife here for a surprise lunch on our wedding anniversary. She was thrilled. We loved everything about the place. The food was incredible and truly authentic italian, and very good quality ingredients. The atmosphere beautiful too, and the service just incredible. The chef, his team and the waiters were all incredibly hospitable and kind. We even got a pizza and an anniversary cake as a gift. The owner came to meet us and was the most delightful friendly person. We totally recommend this place. Shame there are only 5 stars, we would have give even more!

Visit 1 I began with Shirley Temple mocktail, and I must say it has to be amongst the best ones I have tried hitherto. I also tasted the sole fish for the first time; I had never seen it in such restaurants. One big square piece with a green covering with vegetables at the side ( although some french fries or mashed potatoes would have been great, too ). The pork belly was amazing, a little stiff to eat, but that was pretty expected since it is slow-cooked for quite a long time. There were two medium pieces along with a sauce at the side and small potato square cuts. For the desserts, I tried a cake; it was good although not the best, with a red velvet-esque covering and plenty of chocolate inside. The ambience is ever so good; the seating capacity is big enough. I am glad that despite a delay, the staff honoured the various offers which were exclusive to a time slot. Visit 2 Firstly, I am thankful to the restaurant staff for allowing me to sit in a different restaurant ( the neighbouring China House; review separately available ) and order. I ordered the sous-wide Pork belly yet again. The default preparation was medium-made, so not very easy to chew. But it tasted amazing, and the portion was quite big. The time taken was about 20 mins, which is the average time for preparing such dishes. Alongside, I also ordered Parmesan French Fries; the first time I had ordered such a flavour. Again, the amount was between medium and large, and it took about 12-13 mins to be served. The taste was quite sui-generis, with a skosh of cheese sprinkled and a light oregano flavour. I was expecting the fries to be dipped in a cheese paste/sauce, but not to be. I would also like to thank my server, Mr Nikhil, for assisting with various dishes, which made the selection easy for me. I also ordered a couple of mocktails, and the bartender was happy to make one based on the fruit base I wanted. One success, one nay! The mocktail, which was supposed to be blueberry-based, was entirely cranberry-based, with a couple of fresh blueberries on top. Another one, a watermelon-based, was made exactly as per my requirements: tangy, medium-power soda and primarily watermelon-based. In the desserts, I tried Panna Cotta, a popular and soft pudding-esque dessert which was medium-sweet. And the award-winning Tiramisu, which was mildly sweet and delicious. Both were of sufficient size. Visit 3 I tried Chicken Milanese, the only deep-fried dish on the menu in the main-course section. The quantity was quite significant - six pieces. It came with a pickled green ( whose name I have forgotten ) and a mildly spicy tomato and herb sauce. The dish wasn't oily, although it wasn't crunchy, either. It tasted fantastic, though. It took over 25 mins to serve the dish, which is quite above the estimated time required for such appetizer-cum-main course dishes. Similarly, the French fries took over 20 mins, and one definitely doesn't want to wait for a dish like this where all one has to do is throw the potato strips into oil, add some salt and serve it. I also ordered a couple of mocktails, and just like the previous time, the bartender was happy to make them based on what ingredients I wanted. One was a dragon fruit-based mocktail, quite authentic. The other was guava-mary, very good but not as medium spicy as I had requested. The sizes were medium for each, and just like the other dishes, took extra time to be served. Time delay is one thing which certainly the restaurant should work on. A bar being there right a few meters away doesn't warrant such a delay to serve mocktails. Again, I thank the staff for allowing me to place orders elsewhere. The sole fish was scrumptious on my first visit, and I am surprised it has been discontinued. Another positive I would like to mention is that the feedback given a few years ago about the quantity seem to have been taken well & implemented. Overall, I observed at least a 25% size increase, which is reflected in the 15+ dishes I had across my previous visits. The rates have more or less remained the same.

I recently dined at Celini, an Italian restaurant located inside Grand Hyatt hotel. I must say, the raviolis were absolutely delicious! The pasta was cooked to perfection and the filling was flavorful and satisfying. The restaurant itself has a great ambiance and the service was prompt and attentive. I highly recommend Celini to anyone looking for a great Italian meal in the city.

The Good: The restaurant has a great ambiance and excellent table setting. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. The eggplant parmigiana was outstanding. The shrimp pizza was delicious. My baby loved the special pink pasta made for her. The complementary bread was good but had no variety as per 5 star standards. The Bad: I was served pork meat in my seafood Gnocchi pasta, which the staff kept denying. They made a replacement Gnocchi however this mistake would not be acceptable. I expected them to at least admit and apologize for it. The wine per glass menu is very restricted and overpriced.

Excellent Italian cuisine and service is very good indeed. Not a lot of choice from the menu, the ravioli and Tiramisu is really good. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Hyatt and got a complimentary dining in Celini. We were served their baked bread starters , the dips served were too good. We ordered stuffed chicken and 4-cheese pizza for main course. The chicken was stuffed generously with cheese and spinach. The cauliflower sauce wasn't really complementing the chicken that well. The cheese pizza tasted very good. We ordered tiramisu for dessert which was too good. Loved it to bits. Everybody was very welcoming and was ready to do customisation for our meal. There was a huge crowd which spoiled the ambience with loud noise. Overall, good experience but price was a bit expensive.

Best Italian cuisine experience in Mumbai. Vegetarian Food ✅ Ambiance ✅ Excellent service by the staff ✅ Pistachio Pesto Risotto is highly recommended and same goes for Tiramisu. Kamal from the serving team was courteous and made sure the service was smooth.

Loved the appetizers. Main Course lacked a slight punch for that never ending flavour lingering behind your palate.Dessert described as La créme de la créme.

When it’s comes to pasta and pizza this is my favourite place in Mumbai. My family and I used to go there every Sunday. But since the lockdown was imposed, it wasn’t possible to go there. Chitrak then suggested that they would pack every ingredient separately and send it. In absolute hygienic conditions. So all I had to do was follow what was told to me and voila! I had Cellini at home. This experience is not only amazing but also a lot of fun! Must try! Thank you Celini!

We had come to Celini - le petit Chef to celebrate our anniversary. Had a horrendous experience which was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
Things that went wrong -
1. Unhygienic food: There was hair inside the stuffed chicken - couldn’t be more disgusted
2. Pre-frozen food presented unthawed: My wife had a vegetarian main course which was warm outside but she could taste ice inside
3. Allergies ignored: we had explicitly mentioned that I had an allergy to mushrooms, and I was presented with truffle oil in the first dish served
4. Poor service: We were made to sit and wait for 20-25 min before getting a table we had reserved. This too only after I went and asked them and they seemingly realised having forgotten about us.

We of course received a barrage of apologies and requests of “please come back as an invitation and we will try to make it up to you” - but I don’t know why I would want to when this is what I get at one of the most premium meals in the country while still being billed for INR 15K despite the fiasco. There are a few red flags when it comes to fine dining, and somehow you managed to hit all of them for my anniversary dinner.

Hope the Hyatt management treats this seriously and looks into processes and practices that result in potential health hazards, in addition to an awful customer experience

If you are a sweet tooth and craving for a perfect tiramisu. Celini is the place to find one. The first bite for it you are already on the 7th cloud. The texture is very light and airy. You can taste the coffee and Mascaporne in the perfect ratio. They were very hospitable people. Mayank was a very nice waiter he was very warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.
Food For The Hungry Soul
Went to Celini for dinner with family.
The ambience of the place is unmatched. It's beautiful with really good vibes. The food is tasty too. The fish is great, chicken is good. The desserts here are amazing. A special mention to the chocolate mousse butterscotch truffle. Must try. The place is pricey which is given, but the overall experience was awesome.

Celini, Grand Hyatt was an outstanding experience.
I had been here for celebrating my mother's birthday. And I must say that I believe that I did a very good thing by planning to go here.
As soon as we reached the outlet we were greeted warmly and we're taken to our table.
Mr. Pratik was very kind enough to answer all of our questions and to also suggest us some of the great items out of the menu. He suggested us some of the finest dishes off the menu. Going with Mr. Pratik's suggestions we had ordered the Calamari and the burrata with turned out to be outstanding.
We had also ordered the Lamb chops and it was the most flavourful and the juest chops that I had. Apart from this we had also ordered the chefs special Baked salmon Express on and it was fabulous.
For the desserts we ordered the Tiramisu and it not only bursts with the awesome taste but it is a sight to behold as well, the way the dish was presented was outstanding and the idea was something out of the box.
I would like to thank the entire team of Celini and I would especially like to thank Mr. Pratik for his wonderful suggestions and for the great hospitality!

P.s only uploading the picture of the Tiramisu because I want all of you to drool over it 😛

Went for the Sunday brunch and came out happy high.
Ups
- Good choice of cuisines from sushi to kebab, from pani Puri to nachos, from Biriyani to risotto
- Eggs station with Benedict and others is a star idea
- specialty coffee station
- dessert were fabulous

Downs
- dimsum skins could have been better than refined flour

I tried the Asparagus and Burrata Cheese Risotto and it was delicious! Also, I felt like having a cranberry based mocktail, which was not there on their menu. I requested if one could be made for me. Siddesh Kambli made me a super yummy cranberry mocktail, just the way I wanted it. Loved the entire experience.
We had arrived in Mumbai on a late evening flight and checked into the Grand Hyatt almost around midnight. Fortunately, Celini came to our rescue for a late-night snack! We ordered a Diavola (highly recommended), which came with toppings of Mozzarella, spicy salami and kalamata olives. The thin crust had been baked to perfection! The service is swift and the ambiance is relaxed. The overall decoration of the restaurant has some unique art installations.

The great 5 star restaurant located in Santacruz. The great hospitality and delicious food. Main course was good and desserts were divine. Great restaurant.

One of the best places to eat authentic Italian food. Wood-fried Pizza was very yummy and light on the tummy completely opposite to what the usual pizza chains serve. Pasta had a perfect blend of white and red sauce making it both cheesy and tangy at the same time.
Chef Laleet Hadkar is the best and did take our choices into consideration.
The Mumbai Cult
We recently visited one of best Italian restaurant in the city - Celini as a part of Grand Hyatt's 15th Anniversary celebration. The day we visited, the dishes were priced as they were 15 years ago.
We started off with the Fresh Burrata cheese with Caramelizedonions and semi-dried Tomato
and deep-fried Calamari rings in Saffron Aioli. While the Burrata was on point and super fresh, calamari was a little on the chewy side. However, the saffron aioli made up for it.

Chef then sent his signature Beetroot ravioli stuffed with Goat cheese. Trust us when we say this, it was the best Ravioli we've ever had!

As we moved on to the mains, we decided to order a couple of pizzas. The Parmigiana was topped with Mozarella cheese, Parma Ham and shaved Parmigiano and the other one called Norcina- was topped with Fresh Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Truffle oil and Pecorino cheese.

We ended our meal with Chef's signature Tiramisu which in our opinion is the best Tiramisu we have had in Mumbai!. The lady fingers were not too soggy and just perfectly moist coated with Mascarpone cheese which wasn't really heavy on the tummy.

Yesterday, I along with a friend went to this place for dinner. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and it was also not so noisy. It worked perfectly for us as we wanted to have a serious discussion.

We ordered one pizza with half-and-half Primavera and Arrabbiata toppings. Their pizzas are 12-inch pizzas so make sure that you can finish it all before you order. I personally liked Arrabbiata flavour more than the other as it was perfectly blended and you can feel the goat cheese as you eat. Also, it was not so heavy base so you don't feel like eating a lot of crust and can feel the flavour perfectly.

We also ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Rocket leaf pasta. Since I am a fan of white sauce pasta with a good amount of sauce, I didn't like it much. But it was not bad at all. They served us breaking bread to wait passionately till our food arrives and it was good having them with the salsa.

We accompanied our food with perfectly made lime soda and Perrier natural sparkling water. Unfortunately, our server mixed normal water with perrier but other than that everything was fine. What I liked about their servers that they were ready but not coming again and again to bug you.

On the pricing side, it was a balanced menu. You can have the luxury of a 5-star restaurant without burning a hole in your pocket.

Food - 4 star
Ambience - 3.5 star
Service - 3.5 star
Price - 3.5 star

When you experience a combination of great food and an even better service, you have reached a place of ultimate satisfaction. Celini is a place where you can feel this. The food is simple yet the complexity of it's taste will blow your mind. The pepperoni pizza is a must have. Last but not the least, if you want to experience the true nature of hospitality and service , Chitrak is your man. He is humble, pleasant and makes sure you have a great meal. A place I highly recommend.

A beautiful restaurant in The Grand Hyatt Hotel at Kalina- Celini. This place serves the best Italian food and they have jain options too. The service was remarkable, truly 5 star standards and food quality and portions were perfect. A diner date with your fiancé or family lunch is perfect at Celini.

Visited this place for my best friend’s birthday and totally was a wise decision! This place is known for its Italian cuisine and totally lives upto its name! The ambience was perfect for a dinner. The Pizza (INR 1050/-) was a half half - Primavera and Arabiatta. I cant choose between the two coz both were scrumptious! The Peach Iced Tea (INR 325/-) was refreshing. Last but not the least, the Panacotta (INR 750/-) was a total winner, a visual delight and a treat to the taste buds! A special mention to the staff for being so courteous.
Also, they offer a 20% discount on reservations made online through the website.âŁïžâŁïž Food - 5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Service - 5/5

#italianfood #pizza #delicious #peachicedtea #desserts #panacotta #mumbaifoodie #celini #grandhyatt #mumbai #notjustaboutfood

Celini... was an absolutely perfect choice for Sunday Brunch with family. It has an amazing vibrant family vibes and staff is very welcoming making the ambience great. The quality of food is exceptional specially it's open air BBQ and their customised cocktails. Alessandros pizza and pasta was truly an Italian retreat. I also tried the Galouti kebabs that just melts in your mouth. The dim sums were authentically Asian.
The food in Celini is something that will make you want to visit that place again. It was an amazing Sunday Brunch experience.

Management is def very good.
Excellent menu and very good taste.
I especially loved out dessert.

Mind you, their exquisite experience and dinner dont come cheap.

Definitely a must go.

Visited the place today evening. Ravioli, Cream Pizza & the Gnocchi met the expectations. Ambience could have been better. Place infested with mosquitoes. On a weekend the staff did not have tiramisu & pannacota in an Italian restaurant inspite of having mentioned it in the menu. Staff otherwise polite but need some training on post meal etiquettes. Post meal napkins weren’t offered for hand cleansing. You would expect better from a restaurant in a star rated hotel.

I just had thin crust pizza and cold coffee...but my tummy was super happy.. great food... helpful staff...prompt service...can't wait to visit again and try other varieties here...nice ambience.... perfect date night restaurant...

Was in a hurry and rushed to have a coffee at 12:30Am.
Mr.Aaron is such a gentleman to welcome me knowing the fact i just came for a coffee. What else a person could expect if staff is so polite. Staff served u just at a word. Such a pleasant vibe at this place even if alone. NO DOUBT “Grand Hyatt” has its class!
Mr. Mayank is very calm person to do everything in a tiptop way. Fifteen minutes but this person impresses his guest just with his politeness! This man is really very polite and very welcoming to celini.
I also had a pasta the other day which was worth the price especially considering the quality of the food.
Lastly the vibe at this place is so calm and relaxing.
Thank you so much Celini.
Who wouldn’t love to come back?
Surely will
God bless you peopleâ˜ș

As you'd expect of a 5 star place, the service was impeccable here. The waiters give immense attention to the customers here. The ambience is amazing which gives an authentic Italian vibe with the array or breads kept near the counter. The kitchen is open where you can see the craftsmen at work.

Now coming to the food, I tried the Charcoal Grilled chicken and the grilled sea bass. The chicken was amazing. Perfectly cooked a juicy. The sauce used elevated the flavours. The grilled Sea bass was good. Not great, but good enough. It was served with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. For dessert, we ordered caramel panacotta which was awesome. The texture was amazing. It was topped with a caramel disc. Though the price was obviously to the higher side, the experience was worth it.

Must have - pizza 🍕 and the pasta 🍝
( pepperoni 🍕 pizza was the best )
To Drink - sangria đŸ·

Celini was a good experience and their pepperoni pizza was amongst the best I’ve had so far in bombay . Very cool selection of pepperoni served with freshly baked very thin crus dough pizza was really fresh and I enjoyed it a lot .

They could improve on their drinks pricing to make this place a little more pocket friendly . Chilly oil was not exactly what I had in mind ( it was just oil ) with no chillies đŸŒ¶ soaking in it which made their pizza not so spicy for my Indian pallet .

Overall a must try experience for the food and wine đŸ·

Decent place for a fine dine and romantic experience for a couple ( quiet with very courteous staff ) Alison who served us really did a good job at keeping my experience here memorable.

I just love Italian good and Celini is one of the few places in the city that offers authentic Italian food. I have been there a couple of times. Their margarita pizza is the best I have ever had. Also their spaghetti aglio olio is to die for. In desserts do order the chocolate truffle. Their quality of food is acme and rich. Must must visit for Italian lovers.

Hyatt ............. Nothing beyond this name. I always love this place. Grand attached with the name is justifying the place.

Food was amazing I loved it . Went with high hopes, but wasn't really impressed. Food is definitely good, but nothing very impressive or out of the world. I had expected the experience and food to be much better given the price and Hyatt. I feel there are much better fine dining standalone Italian food joints and a relatively cheaper price point in Mumbai. My benchmark for Italian in 5 stars hotels remains Zanotta in Kempinski, Gurgaon.

This is one of my favourite places to eat pizza . Amazing place with chic ambience.its good to see your pizza being baked in front of you by the chef .it was so fresh and tasty. Would recommend this place to all who like authentic pizza and Italian food.chefs here are very jovial as well

Go to place for pizza and risotto, this is one of those old favorites that always has good food. Another new favorite was the burrata with caramelized onions and sun-dried tomatoes, even though I would’ve loved some more of those onions. They also got us a birthday Nutella panna cotta that was simply divine.

If you like Pizza's, well no place else. It's worth every rupee (I would say it's priceless).

Courteous Staff, friendly environment, amazing ambience ... Yes all this goes without saying when speaking about a restaurant inside any Hyatt. However, this restaurant has delicious food

Hightly recommend the pizzas to everyone. Must visit at least once for all pizza lovers

Italian food needs perfection. You need to get the texture and flavors right. It's not a job if all to achieve that.

Recently visited Celini to try their business lunch.

The business lunch consists of a soup, appetizer or salad, mains and dessert or fruit bowl.

So out of those, I tried the salad, calzone and pasta.

Loved the salad. Fresh and crunchy.
The soup was decent.
The pastas were delicious. The calzone really light fluffy and flavorful. However I wished it was stuffed a little more.
Since they did not have any eggless options I had the fruit bowl. Crisp and fresh fruits.

Besides this we also tried their pizza. Thin crust and a perfect balance of toppings and cheese.

Overall, the portion sizes are quite small.

The food is good.

May be next time will try the risotto here.

Food - 3.75/5
Ambiance - 4/5
Service - 3.25/5
Vfm - 3.25/5
Return index - 3.25/5

We enjoy the ambience at Celini and visit once every few months. The minestrone today was excellent as usual, but all the bread items, including the ciabatta and the pizza, smelled strongly of barbecue / burnt meat. No one took a second slice. We suggest you check and thoroughly clean your ovens. We are unlikely to be visiting again soon.

Had a lovely this celini Italian restaurant overall very nice restaurant for some Authentic Italian cuisine the pizza and main course was amazing
The chef team very helpful during particularly Soumil chef Ganesh was best

Frequent Celini also because I work opposite to the Hyatt.

The ingredients are authentic, portions wholesome & service courteous. Infact their staff is pretty helpful incase you’re undecided or need help with recos.

This time around we dug into some pizza, pasta & dessert. Nom nom.

Certainly worth a visit.

Place is large & usually getting a table of choice is easy. But if there’s some event at the hotel or FSS nights, then they tend to be pretty full.

Umm it’s a tad expensive compared to mezzo mezzo at the Mariott I think 😛

Otherwise superb.

A fine dining Italian restaurant which uses authentic ingredients. The pizzas and the main course was amazing. The service was quick too. The quantity was amazingly enough for 3 diners. My overall experience is great and will definitely be back for some more reviewing!!!

Having lunch at this place after a few years took me down memory lane.. still the same consistency, still the same flavours, still the same
Warmth, only a different setup. Wish they opened a branch at Gotham city for me..

Food ordered :
Focaccia bread with an aubergine dip (comes complimentary as per the Italian tradition)
Simply just wow.. never thought aubergine dip (baingan) would be so tasty.. the bread was soft, full of butter, perfect amount of salt.

Pink sauce penne with truffle oil -
Ah yes truffle oil is truly an aphrodisiac and one of my favourites. Derived from truffle mushrooms which are tough to get and are extremely expensive. A Kg of good white truffles can cost you upto a lakh of rupees at times.. since this is not the season most of the restaurants use the oil form of it..
Coming back to the amazing consistency and flavour of the truffle oil blended so well with the pink sauce topped with some fat basil leaves.
Amazing experience. Watch out for the photos to see the delicious cuisine.

Overall food experience - 4.5/5
Overall ambience - 4/5
Overall service - 4.5/5
Value for money - 4/5

Great decor and buzz and fabulous food. I had the red snapper with a lemon caper sauce and it was done beautifully. I was a bit disappointed with the Creme Brûlée but only marginally so. Highly recommended if you are looking for good Italian food
Jaibir
Good Italian food. Has a good cross section of options for vegetarians as well as non-vegeterians. Flexible on customising dishes as well. Good service generally. Not too expensive by five star standards.

Celini has one of the best pizzas in Mumbai. Have been here more than couple of times but not in regular intervals. Still never disappoints. The quality has been maintained over the years.

Great work!

My friend and I went to Celini for lunch. We ordered Parma Ham and Fortina Cheese Piasina; Fritto Calamari and Tempura Fish Fillet, Panissa Chips with Lemon Garlic Cream; Arrabiata pizza; Spahetti with Parma Ham, Orange, and Black Pepper; and Diavola pizza. All dishes were served within a reasonable time. Each dish presented well. Unfortunately, the dishes fell short on taste, that is, nothing was outstanding or memorable. Perhaps next time will be better.

The staff needs a makeover big time. Pathetic staff I can’t explain. The food was just so average. I have eaten better pizzas for sure. The beet root ravioli was mess like yuckkk. And what price I don’t even understand. I would definitely not go here again and prefer any 5 star hotel’s Italian or rather roadside italian over Celini’s . THE STAFF WAS THE BIGGEST SAD POINT THAT WOULD MAKE ME NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! NO CHANCE

What a Valentine's Day experience! When I am paying â‚č9000/- for a meal I expect the service that goes with it! Alas, it wasn't to be!!!
- Celini lacks the service culture of a regular Udupi restaurant, forget 5-star hotel!!!
- Non-attentive and disinterested staff
- Initial order taken after 15 minute wait and repeated attempts to locate a server
- Candle floating among petals in a goblet on table lit only on request after a while and removed from table once candle went out
- Quarter plates used for appetisers not cleared from table and main course served
- Requested baby potatoes not served along with main course and substituted with potato chunks without informing us
- I receive a call from the restaurant 2 hours after i was seated inside to check if I will be joining them tonight???!!!
- Called for the manager but he too did a no show!
- Now let me finally get to the food!
Good appetisers - scallops and lamb/mushroom carpaccio.
Mains: red snapper and lobster linguini - average to good.
Excellent desserts- creme brûlée and passion fruit sacripantina.
Won't be back as the experience left a lot to be desired.

Excellent main course raised the expectations for dessert which wasn’t all that up to the mark. Great service and lovely ambiance though. Highly recommend the beet ravioli and cheese polenta.

I tried this place for their italian brunch which is really a delightful experience, we tried quite a few dishes from the menu, the celini pizza was perfectly made and the toppings all went together and tasted really good. The beetroot ravioli with goat cheese and salsa verde was really delicious. Next we tried the roasted portobello mushroom and sour cream, which was plated beautifully and tasted equally good, however it was the tiramisu that completely blew me off, it was one of the best i have had and highly recommended.

Celini is an Italian restaurant located inside Grand Hyatt Mumbai . They have a Saturday Brunch every week . It is quite unique and unlike any other such events which are held on the weekend at various other restaurants across the city . I have been to Celini on numerous occasions and this review is based on my experiences of the Unapologetically Italian Brunch .

Ambience : This is a nice and elegant restaurant . There is ample natural light during the day . The buffet is arranged on one side of the restaurant and there is seating on the other . They have a live band playing during the Saturday Brunch . Overall this place has a nice ambience .

Service : The service I have witnessed during all of my visits has been top notch . Servers Junaid and Kaushal are quite efficient in their work . All orders placed are promptly delivered to the table . Chef Ganesh is very courteous . He brought me a unique quinoa and mushroom based dish , something I had never tasted before .

Food : Italian food relies on the quality and freshness of the ingredients used . I can imagine that it must be challenging to find the best quality ingredients which can give the food an authentic Italian taste . There is ample variety for you to sample every week . They have two types of soups , one veg and and one non veg . They will have things like chicken , mushroom soups , lobster bisque etc . Please do try the soups they have . Soups are actually thick and creamy . They are not watery and are quite different than other places. There are many different kinds of quality cheeses and cold cuts of meat for you to taste . They have about a dozen different kinds of salads . You can order pizzas and pastas with your own selection of toppings . The thin crust pizza here is the best you will find in Mumbai . They also have wonderful mocktails . Since I do not consume alcohol I will not be able to comment about the alcoholic drinks available but I am sure they must be having good alcoholic drinks as well . They have around 10 to 12 desserts . These desserts are of very good quality .

I am a Maharashtrian and I have grown up eating spicy food . The food at Celini is not Indianized as you might find at other places . Some people might be apprehensive about authentic Italian food . Trust me you must try the Saturday Brunch as Celini at least once to experience authentic Italian cuisine .

Simply awesome is how I would like to sum up this dining experience. The food can't get more authentic than this.
For starters we ordered the Antipasto Non Veg. Was bang on. We ordered Diavola pizza which was heaven on earth. For mains I had the spaghetti with Parma ham orange & black pepper which was like dining in heaven. For dessert I had Tiramisu which was spot on and probably one of the best I've had. Will definitely visit this place and try more of their dishes.

Had been to Celini - Grand Hyatt yesterday evening, had a real real bad experience about the services ever had in any star restaurants, real disappointment. No one really bothered for order, nor cared for providing bill had to wait literally 25 mins then to bill came after me walking to the captain for bill. Pathetic.

Celini, an Italian restaurant tucked inside Grand Hyatt. A die heart fan of Italian cuisine, I was treated to Celini for my birthday.

The ambience was perfect for a couple looking for a date night. We were welcomed with freshly baked bread.

Ordered the cold beetroot/goat cheese ravioli- I loved it! Highly recommend dish.

The soup was minestrone soup- not of my personal choice. And of course the pizza, thin crust perfectly made the Napoli way!

For dessert we were treated to a tiramisu cake, which was the cherry on top to the meal.

Will rate it a place to try and be regular at.

Coffee shop in Hyatt but great Italian food. I really loved the mushroom quinoa something which I had never eaten before can maybe will make several trips here to eat again. The Arugula salad with small pasta pieces was just perfectly seasoned. Asparagus risotto was special. The prima Vera pizza was also good but not the best in city. We had the minestrone soup which comes with pesto sauce but I felt it was not pungent enough to smell the pesto. We also had Ravioli which was tomato and pesto based and was nice. Most of the food we had today like soup, risotto, Ravioli were pesto based. Do not know if there menu has more pesto food or we just ordered asking the server Savio. Thanks Savio for great service and making our evening enjoyable.

The freshly baked bread is so quiet and light you could eat it alone!
We had the ravioli in the tomato cream sauce and it will was perfect! The ravioli was light and we'll balanced. But the star was the tomato sauce. The burnt garlic taste really elevated the dish!
The highlight of our meal had to be the pizza though. In my opinion, it's one of the best pizzas in Bombay. The sauce is well balanced, the Friday is just the right thickness and they are generous with their toppings.

All in all it's one of the best Italian meals in the city!

One of the most frequented five stars, this place lives true to its stature. While I have visited the Lobby Lounge and downed wines and 'Indian breads' with my British friend, Celini is the one closest to my stomach (and heart). Here's how the story began - on one of the late night drives with my best friend, we both got hungry at around 2.30 a.m. (I, hungrier) and landed up here thanks to his suggestion! True to the quaintness that we expected, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and ushered to our table. My friend ordered something called the Pink Pasta. At this point, I must tell you that I typically let nothing come between me and my white sauce pasta (and definitely not red sauce)! The chef surprised us with the right consistency of a creamy white pasta interspersed with a burst of tangy flavoured red sauce. Till date, its one of the best I've ever had! Overall, the place had all the ingredients to make your tummy and soul happy!
Here, I must take the liberty of saying I haven't tried too many items from their exhaustive menu (I solemnly promise to give an extra star, when I do try some more cuisines!)
P.S: This could be a place for celebrity spotting too, if that's you poison. On a separate occasion, when I was there for a conference, bumped into Ranbir Kapoor and his swanky red wheels!

Located close by the domestic airport - Celini in Hyatt serves some awesome food.
Ambience - 5/5
I just love the concept of the open kitchen. You can actually see what is being cooked.

Staff - 5/5
Very courteous. The entire staff makes sure that the food ordered is as per the liking of the clients. The chefs take personal notes by discussing with the guests and then serving the dishes.

Food 5/5
In my opinion the late night menu is just awesome. One of the best - Keema Pao (Mutton Mince and Buns) i have eaten lately. The buns are awesome freshly baked and just melt in your mouth.

Also, the pasta and pizzas are good.

In all an awesome experience !!!

Halloween brunch Saturday 28th Oct. The chef has outdone himself. Quirky Halloween themed starters and desserts on the brunch buffet, Halloween cocktails and pork meat balls. Yes, pork meat balls guys. Meat balls to die for - succulent, cooked to perfection in a great sauce.

Happy Halloween!

The BEST place for a Fine Italian Dining experience. Visited Celini with some of my friends for the Saturday Brunch and I must say that everything was so spectacular and the food was just so authentic! The Pepperoni Pizza takes a big win among all and the Salmon with caviar was out of the world ! Celini does know to keep its guests lively with the amazing live band playing. Having the Tiramisu is a must! Please do visit here for authentic italian cuisine.

Superb unapologetic Saturday brunch!!! Great Value for Money.

To celebrate my son's birthday we decided to try this unique Italian brunch on Saturday. True to it's spirit they serve some real outstanding Italian food.Head Chef Allesendro personally looks after every guests requirement. Excellent Salad and cheese spread makes a nice beginning with unlimited pouring of wine. Those who eat only Vegetarian food always have limited choices in specialty restaurant but not here. We never felt short of choices in any of the courses.
Pizza ,pasta and rissoto are made to order and served on the table .We tried veg pizza arabita with roasted garlic and goat cheese and mushroom risotto . They we're just awesome.
Service is excellent ,live music adds to your mood of a lazy afternoon brunch.
Desert spread was good but has some scope of improvement.

If you want to enjoy excellent authentic Italian food and have a great treat guys go for it you will not be disappointed.

Captivating Pizza Base and fantastic toppings. My only regret was that it wasn’t as warm as expected.

The service was good, initially we were informed that the chef is catering to VVIP guest, so i decided to give the team a piece of a common man’s mind, soon they realised the power of a common Man and called the chef to our table(hahaha).Disappointing but true that we live in a stereotypical word.

We had only requested to meet the chef as i wanted some specifications in my Lamb Rack Roast. I don’t think it is a crime to request a chef’s detailed attention. Never-mind the service later picked up and we spent a good evening in the restaurant.

Ingredients utilised were of excellent quality but the lamb rack roast was just above average, i expected better preparation from celini. Chefs may have professional ego’s about their mastery but food n Beverage industry is after all about Customer Satisfaction with nothing but better than the best.
A typical hotel coffee shop with a versatile menu . Has something for everyone .

Have visited Celini a couple of times .. however this time we were a larger bunch so cud try out more options .

Something as basic as a tomato soup .. blew my mind off .. I Wud definitely recommend it . However I wish the consistency was slighter thinner . This is not a soup to have on a diet . It's pure indulgence .

Ordered 3 pizzas for the table and have to
Say they were mind blowing . Wood fire oven pizza thin crust .. with the perfect topping and seasoning . For all pizza lovers this one is a must!!

There was a white sauce pasta for kids on the table and they devoured it .. basic but Lip smacking !!

The Alio olio pasta was a bit of a let down .. low on seasonings high on oil .. have had so many better pastas ..

Last but not the least the molten chocolate cake .. served with a scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream was gobbled across the table the portion was jus right . You cannot miss this one !!

All in all a super meal the only let down was the service .

The staff was non attentive and we had to wait 20 mins for a basic bottle of mineral water . Had we been served better Wud rate this as one of the better Italian restaurants in the city .
