Review Yauatcha - Mumbai

Had a lovely meal here with family and the quality of the food and taste is excellent. We had two toddlers with us and they enjoyed the meal as well. We were all vegetarian and had enough options to choose from. They catered for our allergy requirements. The drinks were very tasty as well. The overall experience is very similar to Yauatcha London where I have been a few times. Will definitely visit again soon.

This place is already hyped up in Mumbai, so let me not repeat what thousands have already mentioned ahead of me. If you are in BKC area, this is a very good option for a nice Asian meal option. Food quality is good, service is excellent & atmosphere is casual. It remains open till late night, so it helps if you are looking for a late night meal. Few things that didn’t work for me : - Average cost is almost Rs. 2,000/person without liquor. Everyone may not agree, This is way too expensive IMHO. - Place is loud, so everyone is speaking above normal decibel level to get heard. - Tables are too close to each other to have a nice quiet, private meal if that’s what you are looking for. - Please don’t upsell me your expensive dishes & then charge us even though we return 75% the plate served as we just can’t consume it. - Serving Rs. 600 water bottle when we don’t ask for it is a very bad business practice. Most don’t object, but we do feel cheated for sure. Please ask instead of assuming we want over-priced water at your establishment. Overall, a good place to check-out. Will I be back here ? I am not sure.

Loved everything about this place, visited this place on a sunny afternoon for celebrating wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, service was also good.. and love the cozy atmosphere inside.. Definitely worth a visit..

The food here speaks for itself. Your only go for Asian inspired well-made mouthwatering delicacies. The lavender base cocktail is to die for. Be sure to try their Fried turnip cake appetizer. It is loved by all so much so that it seems too crowded most times. Thus spoiling the overall vibe.

Went for the experience but stayed for the food. Every item we ordered was delicious. The drinks were a hit or miss though. We ordered 4 different cocktails, 2 were delicious 2 were not. I highly suggest everyone to try their dim sums. The hosts were extremely welcoming and warm but the servers were not. The server who took our order seemed disheartened to do her job and wasn’t very well equipped with menu and hence couldn’t answer our questions. But the manager on duty was very attentive and polite. He addressed our concerns quickly. I will of course visit again.

So this feedback is for only vegetarians: If you are vegetarians and love dumplings, wood noodles and fried rice, this is the place for you. If you don't enjoy, my recommendation is to skip it. Great ambience, good place , good Vibes.. do not miss Asparagus n waterchesnut dumplings, edamame have tried but not the best one. Per person cost for vegetarians without alcohol is approx Rs1200 as one dish have 3 pcs n costs approx 500. M not a dumpling person so for me this place overhyped...there is no separate kids menu. Excellent small hidden restaurant. The place is cozy and very well maintained. The ambiance is too red but it’s a Chinese restaurant after all 😜 Cost effective Staff members were wearing a mask all the time. We didn’t get a chance to try a lot of things listed on the menu but what we had was delicious. Munchow Soup (veg) and Sweet Corn (Chicken) were definitely worth trying. During my next visit I will try some other food items.

This place should be called WOWtcha. The dim sum is tremendous and globally competitive with places I’ve been in Malaysia, NYC and London. The Cheung Fun (steamed prawn) may be the best I’ve had in my life. The ramen noodles were also delicious, along with the chicken in the clay pot - but the is place is really all about the dim sum.

Yauatcha is a good place to hangout with family and friends . It has a nice location in the heart of the city . The interior is good , cozy & spacious. Food is awesome, delicious 🤤 Service is good & prompt to respond. Chef suggest good dishes so you can rely on them for good suggestion of best dishes . You need to reserve the seats in prior over here as it’s always fully booked . The vibes are good , chill , relax , uplifts your mood !!

The food is really good here, and the service is also good. Good options and variety in food in this cuisine to serve. Great options in wine. The only thing they lack is a nice peaceful dinning experience as the place is too crowded, tables are kept too close to each other and very noisy atmosphere. Best would be a takeaway from here.

Always a great experience, doesn’t disappoint ever. Went multiple times, quality of service, food remains consistent and great. Its always good to book a table as it's not easy to walkin and find a table. Cocktails are made nicely, main course is good. One must try desserts here, superlative options. Valet parking is available.

Just wow. Highly recommended. 10/10 . The food here is amazing. A little options for vegetarians but amazing nonetheless. The waiting time is a bit troublesome as well but you will enjoy every second spent.

This is a great place with lovely ambiance. The prices are a bit high for the quantity served. Dimsums are really good and the desserts cannot be missed. Every dessert is worth trying. The service is very slow on busy days.

Ordered for the first time from Yautcha since lockdown .... was really looking forward to a great dinner ... but it all went in the drain when they sent chicken pieces in my veg udon noodles !!! Luckily i realised it on opening.... very very disappointing... not expecting this from Yautcha!! I have loved this place in the past n its of my favourites... dunno how the service got degraded... even the edmame truffle dumplings and turnip cakes wer not upto the mark ... please dont do this yautcha !! I have lot of amazing memories n experiences with u guys !! Dont ruin them<br/>

Located in BKC, this place is not only famous for the dimsums and momos but also for its gorgeous and tempting desserts. The birthday cake from this place made my day even more sweeter and special with its perfectly smooth texture.

One of the best place for Asian and Chinese food with amazing Ambience, courteous and sophisticated staff. My all time favorite are Dumplings from Yauatcha. Cost wise- A bit high to the pocket.

So the ambience and the vibe of this place is like really nice and decent. We went for Lunch and they have and extensive Chinese cuisine. Veg and no- veg both available, to the Jain foodies, the menu is limited but they will customize things and serve it to you. A little expensive but courteous staff. And the food was amazing. Yummm desert and sushi

Usually go here to eat there authentic desserts. It’s really worth it. Some of the desserts change depending on the season. But their food is good in general also. It’s a complete asian fine dining experience

Little expensive but worth the money....fried turnip cake was best must try at yatuacha bandra

Undoubtedly very good food but they did start delivery in May and turned out their chef or someone in their kitchen had corona .being one of the premium restaurants , least one could expect is for them to take care of this issue . Even small restaurants who charge a fraction of their price take care of these issue sin covid times . Extremely irresponsible and won’t recommend to order ever again .

A Super Classy place suitable for special occasions. If I'm not wrong this place has a michillin Star rating as well.

So i went to this place with mt sister who flew down from the states and it was our sibling night out. First up I would say that the place is super nice. I loved the deco although not really oriental it was super minimal and posh . I think the drink menu is really really overpriced. I think the staff is really well trained to handle rush although failed to take mynorder on tine.<br/><br/>Since we eat really tiny portions of food , my sisger and I decide to order four rounds of appetizers instead of a meal . <br/><br/>And a drink to go with it , the momos were fresh and precisely presented, tasted great and my drink was really unique kinda forgot what I ordered but i loved it and the desert had a addition of lychee in it which added a sudden surprise. <br/><br/>I think if u really want a lovely experience do not go on a weekend .

Yauatcha, the place where we always see some or the other film personality walking out of. Located opposite Jio Gardens, Yauatcha owned by KA Hospitality which also owns Hakkasan, Nara and Cin Cin. The place feels premium just by looking at it. And people who know it, Yauatcha is a chain located worldwide known for its Cantonese cuisine. The reservations were a breeze and it is very easy to find. Once you enter, you see those tempting looking desserts located in the shelf which you can take away. Once upstairs, the place is pretty huge with a seperate private dining section, possibly for all those stars. <br/><br/>The servers are very warm and would take care of you. This was back in 2017 and it was my first time going to a Cantonese restaurant as was dreading eating with those chopsticks as I felt it would make me feel embarrassed. If this is the reason you are avoiding the place, do not worry guys, they have forks too :P<br/><br/>The server did teach us eating with the chopsticks and I had my first dumpling there with a chopstick and it was just amazing. t was the Vegetable Chive Dumpling, serving just right for one person but tasted lovely. <br/><br/>They had an enormous tea and drinks selection, I went for the tea. On the suggestion of the server after telling my preferences, I ordered the Milk Oolong and it has been by far the best tea I have had. Perfectly amount of everything. <br/><br/>For mains, I ordered the Spicy Vegetable Fried Rice and the Braised Tofu Clay Pot: Loved it. The rice was spicy just as I wanted and the tofu was silk soft with all the veggies. Amazing dish. <br/><br/>And lastly for the desserts it was the Chocolate Mousse and the Raspberry Delice both of which were just simply amazing. I took another Chocolate Mousse home. The prices are on a little heavy side but again it's for the experience and not just the food. <br/><br/>Have been wanting to visit the place since a long time and will visit again real soon. Turnip is not our thing but trust me you got to try this, it will change your perspective<br/><br/>Crispy vegetable Cheng fun<br/>Woah, the dipping sauce, just wow!<br/><br/>Coming to our favourite part of the meal dessert<br/>We went for the Tropical dome as suggested by the staff, a sight to behold but too sweet for us<br/><br/>So we asked for something dark in dessert, oh and they did surprise us with this chocolate pebble dessert, yumm.<br/><br/>P.S. they have amazing accompanying sauces for each dish and very few eggless dessert options.

An amazing place to have some authentic Chinese cuisine. Everything we ordered today was phenomenal and very much worth the price. The stir-fried lamb was exquisite and tasty. Their fried rice was so flavourful, enjoyed every bite of it. The service and the staff were excellent, and how can I forget about the macaroons, they were simply amazing.

We went for the set menu. Food was really yummy. Worth trying atleast once. Dumplings and stir fry were really good. Interestingly loved the salad as well. We were in food coma by the time desserts came. Gagan was really helpful and courteous.

Mr Arjun hosted us very well. Amazing food,even more amazing were desserts. Courteous staff . Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Starters quantity is barely enough for one. Waiter suggested very expensive dish when he was given a choice to recommend one.

Request to add some more dishes in jain food and qty of some plates like iceburk crunchy dumpling and some other dumpling is very less only 3 pcs in plates

The Food was just about ok.. The one star is just for the butler Amit .. and his service.. kitchen is quick though.. coming to main point .. ,maybe I was there on the wrong night was not less then a college canteen .. very very noisy.. I have never seen any fine dining restaurant so noisy .. I complained to the manager but he just gave me an excuse that the guest our not listening to him.. Never returning to such a place which no where looked like a Fine dining to me..

I have been wanting to go to this place for very long and finally today it happened. The ambience is lovely ... there is a soft music playing in the background which is pleasing ... in starters all they have are dimsums... while they are good but I am not a big fan of them. <br/>But the main course stole the show ... the spicy noodles, the spicy rice and the tofu veg was awesome and highly recommend ... would def visit the place again.

They have very little choice of food on the menu. The prices are very high though for the quantity provided.<br/>Too hyped is what we felt. Even though you have booked your made to wait before you've given a table.<br/>Food definitely is tasty but the service could have been better.

Nice food and courteous staff. Abhiman was our Stuart and he helped us get the best delicacy of the place. Only downside of the restaurant is when it's crowded it's too noisy. So if you are on a romantic date that might get spoiled. Else everything was perfect both food and ambience wise .

I had heard a lot about this restaurant and hence I was pleased to be invited there for a family dinner. Here are my comments:<br/><br/>Soup: The sweetcorn soup was far too salty and had to be returned. The hot and sour soup however was just about OK.<br/><br/>Kungpao Chicken: Made well and passed my culinery taste.<br/><br/>Stir fried lamb in black pepper: Just about average. I've eaten better stuff in other restaurants.<br/><br/>Ice Cream: I was shocked to find it wasn't sweet enough!<br/><br/>Overall, average food, good service and excellent atmosphere.

The food quality is excellent, it was something different than the usual and it was really good.<br/><br/>The service is fast, the staff is friendly and are very quick. <br/><br/>The only thing I disliked was the ambience, there was too much noise. <br/><br/>But still I would visit it again as the food is really amazing.
