This is one of my favourite go to place whenever I crave for a relaxed time with great food, good cocktails and excellent service. Chandan is a top notch human being who ensures you always have a great time. I would highly recommend their nachos and tacos the best Mexican food in Mumbai

If you want to experience Mexican cuisine I will surely suggest fine dining restaurant Sammy sossa @sammysosarestaurant , and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was elegant and the service was impeccable. For mocktails, I tried the Pink Paradise and Morning Breeze. Both were refreshing and the perfect way to start the meal. The Chacho Nachos non-veg and Quesadillas Chicken in starters were mouthwatering. The combination of flavors and textures was exceptional. For the main course, I opted for Mama Sita rice and Mash Potatoes. The dishes were well-seasoned and satisfying. The portions were generous, and I left with a happy, full stomach. To top off the evening, I indulged in the chocolate fudge with ice cream for dessert. It was a sweet and decadent way to end the meal. Overall, Sammy Sossa exceeded my expectations with its delicious Mexican cuisine, and I would highly recommend it for a fine dining experience.

One of my favourite restaurants for Mexican cuisine, always love the food here. For the first time, I tried Green Garlic Noodles and Green Garlic Chicken, and both were delicious. Godzilla Garlic Bread was not good at all and was a waste of money. Nachos Chicos, Country Side Special and Fish Fingers, which are my favourites, were scrumptious like always. Rates are fair. The service was good. They have a valet parking service. The staff are friendly, only the manager who bought bill was discourteous and little rude when asked about service charges.

Newzealeanders , lemongrass coolers and ice tea helped us flush the food down.

A buzzing restaurant in Oshiwara, 'Sammy Sosa' well known for its Mexican cuisine is a Mexican food lover's paradise. The ambience and widespread menu sure promises a great fiesta! The soft and hard shell tacos are a must try here. The food suggestions by our waiter were excellent and the staff was very friendly. Since the dating is limited expect a short waiting time as this place almost always runs full.

We visited the restaurant to have lunch and were totally amazed by their dishes so here is what we tried - 🌮Mocktails Virgin Margarita- A refreshing drink with kiwi pulp blended with some lemon juice and crushed ice. It is a must try ! Mango Mania - Creamy mango shake topped with delicious piece of mango . A shake that will make you feel good. 🌮Starters - Chacho Nachos - This super popular dish packs in all the flavours of awesomeness with cheese . Crispy nachos tooped with peppers , beans and veggies which made it taste flavourful and crispy. Taking you through some of the dishes you got to try here. Chacho Nachos (Recommended) Nachos loaded with cheese, different flavours, jalapenos, olives, salsa, beans, tomatoes and much more. You got to start your meal with this. The Boatman's Dream Fresh prawns marinated with mexican herbs and spices, perfectly grilled and made heavenly. Served with rice and tastes heavenly if you love sea food. Peri Peri Please As the name suggests, a pinch of Peri Peri Sauce over Cilantro Rice consisting of veggies and cottage cheese. Grandma's Lasagna (Recommended) This delicious lasagna is loaded with mozzarella, garlic cream and sheets of pasta. Really yummy and something you got to try here. Shredded Chicken Tacos Crunchy tacos served with hearty filling of chicken, lettuce, cheddar cheese and some mexican seasoning. Not very picturesque but the taste buds are up for a treat. Chocolate Mud Pie (With Ice Cream) The ultimate chocolate lover’s dream dessert! With a brownie like filling, this pie is rich with gooey and gets better with ice cream and chocolate sauce. Overall, we really love this place. The service is also quite amazing and their presentation of dishes is also fab as you've seen in the pictures.

Few days back I visited this restaurant located in Oshiwara serving Mexican and Pan Asian Dishes. The ambience is very cool. They have outdoor seating arrangements as well as indoor seating. Dishes I tried: Starters: Chacho Nachos, Chimichangas Main Course: Peri Peri Please with Rice Dessert: Choco Mudpie with ice-cream Mocktail: Lemongrass cooler, Morning Breeze All the dishes were very good in taste and had a beautiful presentation.

One of my friends suggested this place in Oshiwara. The place is really cool. From the entrance it gives mexican vibes. The interior and the ambience of everything is amazing. This was the first time we went to Sammy Sosa Restaurant and we loved it...I had heard alot about this place...I am not really very fond of Mexican food but this place is sooo awesome and the food is soo yummy...the place is done up very cutely....amazing ambience...we ordered for cheesy nachos with chicken they were delicious...and for main course we ordered for Mexican rice with chicken.....we loved everything that we ate....there was one on one communication on every table which i dont think i have seen in any restaurant....i loved the experience....i will definately go very often....staff was sooo courteous and always smiling...they really make you feel very comfortable...and in the end they gave us a complimentary dessert that was brownie with ice cream which was very delicious....This place is definitely worth going and it is reasonably priced also....

U tell them ur tied and they will energize u. U tell them what u need and they will give the best. The only restaurant I have been where there is one o one communication with each customer. They know what to put to a platter. Not for customer satisfaction, but a step ahead what we call as customer delight. You will never be disappointed as far as taste is concerned. Food best, service best, good ambience and ya before you are done with the meals, don't forget to have their complimentary surprise of dessert!

Nice place... But the music was bit to loud for us frnds to have a discussion..... Plus there is no dedicated waiter for ur table... So ur orders might get slight delayed... But all our complains cleared....when they served us a surprise desert which was yuuuuummmmm...Food tastewas no complain at all

Perfect Saturday evening spent at Sammy Sosa. The best chicken quesadillas ever. Chicken mama sita was yum and the cheesy mashed potatoes was super. The service was quick, the staff great and friendly, and they even gave us a complimentary dessert. :-D Loved every bit of the experience. Will visit again for sure. �

Amazing place yummiest Mexican food for all age group best for the price

After a long research we finalised on this place for our anniversary dinner date. It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and overall experience. The kiwi virgin margarita was the best amongst the mocktails that we have had anywhere till now! The Texas nachos were very delicious but sadly being just two of us, we couldn't move past that. The quantity is too large for two. We ordered cheesy mashed potatoes as a sider and they were just fine. The pink paradise mocktail was a one timer. Strawberry margarita was definitely good but not as good as the kiwi one. That, one must try. Overall, very happy with the service, food quality and quantity. The rates are on the higher side but if you come in a bigger group it will definitely be a good deal. Will surely come back soon for more!

I have to say my opinion on Mexican Cuisine has changed coz of Sammy Sosa, delicious food especially the grilled fish 👌🏻and the excellent service by the knowledgeable staff which added to the experience. Not to forget the presence of the owner mingling with the customers added the final touches to a lovely night out dining. Will definitely drop by again.

We had ordered 3 grandmama's chicken lasagna in red sauce. Honestly, the lasagna was very tasty and had lots of cheese in it. According to us one lasagna is sufficient for one person. What impressed us the most was their packaging in which they put a sticker regarding the body temperatures of the chef and the delivery person. Will surely order more dishes from this restaurant again.

Samy Sosa is the best restaurant! With a variety of dishes for all tastes, the finger licking food, good portions and above all the courteous and friendly staff who ensure that you have a great time. It's an absolute favourite of mine. Even the delivery option is a big hit. The food delivered is well packed, warm and has no flaws (which is generally rare in deliveries) . I happened to order food from here during the lockdown period. The friendliness of the staff was worth mentioning! Post dinner , I received a call whether the delivery was ok, the food taste was good and whether I had any complaints or issues. Even in this lockdown, they have maintained their reputation of providing excellent customer service. Good stuff guys! Keep us filled and happy.

During the lockdown, I have ordered from Sammy Sosa 3 times and the food was brilliant. The quality was really good and the staff was super helpful in suggesting the dishes we should order. On my 3rd order, they gave me a dessert as complimentary which was really sweet as I was unable to order it via the online portal. They even surprised me by calling up the next day to ask how the food was. The follow-up was really sweet and highly appreciated.

Firstly why would you offer me no jolly tea upon entering. It was truly a pleasure to soak in chippy chips with cheesy cheese in my tum tum. That being said, the rice from Mexico felt tasted awful lot like it was made in a Mexican restaurant in a non Mexican country. Quite preposterous, eh?

We ordered an extensive variety of dinner from Sammy Sosa Oshiwara through Zomato. Because the order was ablarge quantity I called the restaurant and Mr.Rajeev answered and assured everything will be delivered to promise. In a few minutes Mr.Rajeev called again to apologise that of thr two portions ordered onlije the Kitchen confirmed only one portion was available. Mr.Rajeev not only filled the order with another dessert item but also added it an additional portion by way of making up. Coming to the delivery, it was no less spectacularly packed and packaged very safely. Unlike other restaurants the dishes were neatly packed in separate containers. As the portion size was enormous it was fantastic to store them within the containers. Food was as always delicious and what we call clean and fresh ingredients also freshly made!!! Whenever it is texmex , Sammy Sosa is a veteran restaurant suggestion that comes up ! We ordered for chicken peri peri rice & some enchiladas ! These are their chef reccomended ! <br/><br/>The parcel arrived well in time ! The enchiladas with beans & cheese was super yum! The peri peri rice with the gravy was fire ! Just like it's name ! They gave some salsa sauce too ! And some red rice too ! We were more than satiated !

Sammy Sosa is one of my favourite places. I woild like to start with the best part and that is the service and hospitality. The staff is very sweet and kind. They try to know what you feel like eating and suggest accordingly. There are these hats they make you wear for the enthusiastic diners especially the ones who are busy clicking pictures. We ordered chacho nachos which is one of the best versions of loaded nachos I have ever had with beans, salsa and lots of cheese. It's a must try and is quite filling. We also ordered verdura Verdes which was herbed rice with exotic vegetables and mashed potatoes which was okay and some fries. We got a complimentary desert at the end of our meal (brownie with icecream). 5/5 for everything.

Had heard a lot about this place. And the experience was worth all the hype. We ordered nachos and enchiladas, which were great (Portions as well as taste).<br/>But what took the cake was their overwhelming service. I ordered a drink, the order for which for some reason wasn't placed. To compensate for that they gave us the same drink as well as a dessert on the house. And were very apologetic and courteous about it. Great service!!<br/>All in all, the ambience, the food and the staff here make the place a solid 5/5.

The best spot for Mexican food in Mumbai. The place and the staff is so quirky and vibrant, it's always fun to be here. I tried the nachos chicos, whacko tacos with chilli beans, chimichangas and quesadilla with spiced habanero cottage cheese. All 3 of them were really good and this place has become one of my go to restaurants now.

A perfect place for Mexican food ! highly recommend you to try their burritos, chacho nachos , quessedillas. The staff was helpful and courtious. Overall a wonderful time! The lighting of the restaurant is too dim and dark, should have beeen bright to make the overall experinece much awsome.

Sammy sosa is easily one of the best nacho places in the city. We ordered the chacho nachos which was amazing. The only complaint I have is that the stuffing was way more than the nacho chips. I wish they would add more chips in the future. Presentation was good. Staff was super friendly. Ambience was cool ! It was only two of us and we were pretty stuffed but this one dish. Would definitely come back to try more.

The quality and quantity of each and every food was just ridiculously awesome. For a moment you will surely get confused on what to order as they have just so many delicious and mind boggling items. And the one thing which I enjoyed the most was there behaviour they way the staffs speak up to each and every customer. I don't know if there are other places where this happen but I have never seen this kind of generosity anywhere else. There was this a slight mistake done by the chef in one dish where the the lambs in the tacos were not that minced and we informed them about it. The owner and the staffs were so kind and humble they didn't argue on that particular dish, and they were quick to replace the dish with another one. This kind of service and behaviour I haven't seen anywhere.<br/><br/>Coming to the food we devour it was -<br/><br/>Minced Lamb Wackho Taco - This was really good, the taco were really thick and the lamb stuffing was nicely made. You will feel like ordering more of this dish as it was that good.<br/><br/>Papa Fries - Bored with normal french fries ? Try this one as it's served with melted cheese. You will sirely love this.<br/><br/>Mama Sita Chikka - ohhhh !! This one was the best I was getting confued whether to have this dish or The King's Supper but thought of trying this one and it didn't disappoint. A bowl of rice with mashed potatoes beside it and the chicken pieces with mushrooms stuff in it was soooo good.<br/><br/>This is definitely the place worth visiting again. For my 100th review I'm so glad to write about this place. Definitely a must visit place for Mexican food. Even though the place was packed the service was good. Shabir who served us helped with recommendations as well. He was well versed with the menu.<br/><br/>We started off with Mexi Skin basically potato pockets with stuffed with stir fried veggies and topped with cheese and served with salsa was quite decent.<br/><br/>Followed by main course I had the fisherman's catch I must tell you it's a complete meal and stomach filling. The fish was grilled to perfection not overcooked just right, well marinated and loved the spices they used. Had a portion of mashed potatoes with a small plate of cilantro sauce had a tangy twist to it so good. Definitely recommend if you're looking to have fish<br/><br/>Exotic vegetables and tofu in peri peri sauce with cilantro rice. Again perfect for vegetarians. The garlic pepper sauce had mushrooms and a strong taste of pepper. The sauce went well with rice.<br/><br/>For Dessert :<br/>1. Amazing Mexican food here. We tried the burrito and mama sita. Must say the flavours cheered us up. All the appetizers were served with delicious sides like guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Mocktails were freshly made and not too sweet. Highly recommended.

The mac and cheese was cheesy and full filling. The Mexican rice prawns rice had a authentic Mexican cuisine taste. Hummus and pita bread had chicken filling in it, which was pretty good. Garlic bread was stuffed with cheese, olives and jalapeños, served with salsa sauce. Do visit this place if you love Mexican food and beer. They have a wide variety of beer.

Amazing is the word for this restaurant. Delicious food and good staff, making it a great experience overall. We tried the nachos, mexi skin, Peri Peri and the homemade pasta and can't decide what was the best! Definitely worth the visit.

This is my go to place for hot tasty soup which whenever I am down with cold. be it their vegetarian soups or their chicken soups, this place just kills the soup section.Portion size is just ok for 2 people & price is towards the higher side.

Absolutely loved this appetiser and a must try at Sammy. <br/><br/>Also tried Ranchado Chicken from the mains - it’s an exotic soft chicken breast cooked in a fresh orange and white wine sauce served on a bed a Mexican Rice. Simply delicious. This is a bit spicy and absolutely authentic. <br/><br/>I also ordered a chicken salad n it won’t be an over statement if I say that it was one of the tastiest salads I have ever had. <br/><br/>P.S - Sammy offers amazingly convivial service. The staff is courteous and helpful. Loved everything about this place, right from the ambiance to the authentic food. Perfect for all kinds of outings. The place was absolutely amazing! We ordered chimichangas, the tostada, enchiladas and the taco bowl and it was so so so so good! The staff was so polite, and friendly. Their portion sizes are so big, even the staff advised us against ordering too much. Value for money for sure. They also gave us complementary dessert that was literally delectable.
