Amazing place... owners are indian and european... from that is Cafe Zoe born... very friendly delicious food.. international atmosphere...very cosy... very tastfull...worth a visit for sure!!!!
This place is just over the top ....
Cafe Zoe has been on my "To Visit" list for a really long time and finally we did manage to visit this place. Don't be bogged down by the extremely narrow and winding gullies which are a true nightmare if you're driving there. And a word of advice: Please do switch you're Google Maps and Directions switched "ON" or you'd practically get lost! You'd need to keep an eagles eye to notice a board that directs you to a derelict building that houses this restaurant. And another 5 mins. to figure out the door which resembles a shutter that'd probably lead you to a garage sale. But once you push open the door you'd be absolutely mesmerized by A) The sheer loftiness of the space and B) The ample amount of daylight that passes through the huge canopy located above. The restaurant was truly buzzing and the tables practically booked on a Monday afternoon, that seemed rather odd but promising nonetheless. The Cafe sprawls over two floors (A lower floor and a mezzanine level). The lower floor was practically full and we were escorted to be sated upstairs. The decor is truly amazing and & tries to preserve the Mill Area Character through the extensive use of trusses, exposed brick walls, industrial lights, simple kota flooring, minimalistic wooden tables & a splash of color introduced through the over-sized sofas located at one end. An array of seating options to choose from ranging from the Bar Type, Tables & Cozy Sofas. To begin with I decided to try their Fettuccine however the one enlisted on their menu was prepared in Red Sauce, but on a request the server was glad to ask the chef to prepare one in a White Sauce. The Pasta was fabulous and truly no words could describe the creaminess of the Sauce and the texture of the Pasta which complimented it. This was followed by a Lemon Chilli Coriander Grilled Chicken with a generous helping of the Chicken which was extremely tender and the Jus highly flavorful. The meal was summed up by a Dessert of Dark Chocolate Mousse and Marzipan Cake that made my day. For someone headed to the Lower Parel Area this place is highly recommended for it's amazing food and most importantly to take back fond memories of the Mill Area Architecture that's quickly giving way to Glitzy Skyscrapers and Towering Manhhatanized Residential Apartments
Amazing place..i had the best coffee of my life...Orange Cold brew malt..i will definitely visit again..I hv higher expectations for food though...Staff is overwhelming.. Thanks Guys!!
Nice place, great food. A place to go back to.
By far the best cafe in Bombay. Amazing food, atmosphere and crowd. Loving it! Can recommend to everyone, Indian or foreign like myself
Excellent food and desserts are too good. Great ambience service was within time and friendly staff,
While admittedly bias, no other place in the world feels so fun and so homey to me!
Awesome place, loved it, had a great time, the music was great, service was excellent.
Excellent food, starter, mocktails, and main course were all terrific. The cakes were a bit letdown, avoid. Great French fries too.
Definitely coming back for more.. Love the vibe the food and the entire ambiance. Ideal for a nice Sunday brunch. Fish and chips is a must try. The grilled chicken sandwich was really amazing. Need to come back to try more beautiful food. The staff was super nice and helpful.
We went to Cafe Zoe for dinner along with our 2 kids. The place is not children friendly but kids had a good time with food. There are a few menu items which kids can have. When we reached the place, there was some jazz dance class going on in the middle of the cafe. Kids enjoyed watching the dance and music. We had burgers and pasta.
Food was good, made from good fresh material.
Ambience was also good. Seating is not that comfortable but ok. There are tables with high chairs which are not so comfortable.
The place has nice green plants enhancing the decor.
Cafe zoe is very popular Cafe. It's a great but expensive. Very small portion to eat. Here I have attended Bombay Drawing Rooms painting event 4-5 times. These are very cool events organized in such a good ambiance. Nice music and painting. Is a good combo. Good staff. Must try potatoe wages. They are yummy here.
The food at Zoe has always been delicious. I tried their Burrata for the first time yesterday and I just loved the combination of the poached pear with leaves and a hint of garlic. Tasted so fresh. The service is very quick and the staff is courteous as well. The place is also a nice bar to hang at on the weekends. People enjoy going for the brunches on weekends too as the place has natural sunlight even though it is a closed venue, giving it the comforts of being outdoors while you are very much indoors in the heat of Mumbai City!
Its a cafe to be visited specially during the day for the ambience it has to offer...!! Love the calm quaint vibe...!! Service is good and so is the food, however a bit steeply priced... So maybe they could reconsider their portions/ price...!! However, its a very appealing place and one of my favorites in the city...!!
Zoe made this trip to Bombay a little special. It managed to get the balance between good food, casual setting, some bit of creativity and experimentation going on here and there, music, scattered books and even some hipster stuff to keep that audience occupied. The food tasted so great and the juices were fresh. Awesome place.
Be warned, the portions are large. The quiches are yummilicious, with crisp lettuce on the side complementing the flavourful and moist filling. Fantastic scones too. Vibrant ambiance and a shelf of books. What more can you ask?
Love the food here! Good ambiance and very helpful staff. Ordered the tiger prawns and it was yum! Seriously, I'm coming back to this place!!
The ambience at Zoe is classic Cafe style, laid back, relaxed where you can unwind at your own pace. The food is absolutely stellar from brushetta to egg benedict. The Sangria perfectly pairs with the food. The desserts are to die for especially the chocolate orange. An unforgettable experience.
The first time I went here was when we were super early for the Plini gig and a guard recommended this place to us. I'm so glad he did because this place soon became one of my favourite places.
It is a massive space with tables spread apart giving you plenty of personal space (something Mumbai isn't exactly known for). The staff is very attentive and friendly, and will guide you through the menu. Our server recommended we try the Roast Beef Bruschetta and the Fettuccini and both truly stood up to our expectations.
Overall, a great place for a meeting or a dinner date.
