Review The Sassy Spoon - Mumbai

Milind
I recently visited The Sassy Spoon at Nariman Point, Mumbai, and it was a delightful experience. The vintage ambiance created the perfect setting for a family celebration, and being there on a Monday night made it less crowded, ideal for a relaxed dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic! Although I was so tempted by the delicious dishes that arrived at our table, I completely forgot to take photos. The variety of starters, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, were impressive. The chicken kebab was particularly mouthwatering, and the pasta, burger, and pizza didn't disappoint either. The mocktails were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. The highlight was the mutton biryani—truly unique and incredibly flavorful. To top it off, the staff was incredibly polite and hospitable, making us feel like part of their extended family. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again soon.

This place has the magic. Food , super. Ambience, super. What else you need. We went on a weekday and hence music was not loud and that's the way we wanted. All in all a must visit restaurant at Marine Drive.

Visited this place on a Saturday evening, it's very close from nariman point so you can access it very easily if you reach nariman point. The ambience of this place is very unique. Se loved it. It has a kind of retro look. We had ordered flat bread and mocktails which were really good. The prices are reasonable. It also has a retro chetak scooter outside which is pretty cool. Overall it's a good place to chill.

Sassy Spoon ! Walking into this Sassy Vibe at Nariman Point. Sassy Spoon is a perfect place to enjoy the craft cocktails with some great globally curated cuisines amidst any hour of the day. They have an indoor as well as a outdoor seating area. The place is beautifully made up giving a very sassy vibe to the place. The place is usually packed, considering that it’s located in a busy commercial area. My visit was on a Thursday, and honestly I loved this place. They have great cocktails to try, they are served in a funky presentation and having some really cool names to it. Service was fantastic, Mr, Shree & Omkar both were really sweet and friendly. They were acknowledging and warm hearted. The recommendation given by them were great. The food is excellent. You can also visit here for a date night, the Al fresco area has a pretty vibe with a candle light dinner. Perfect place to spend evenings with your loved ones. The Must Try Dishes:- Cottage cheese, pimento & feta cigars with adobo pepper chutney. Mushroom fricassee mini buns with spicy tomato Sassy ravioli with homemade ricotta & garlic cream Mixed vegetables in marinara, fresh basil & garlic crumbs Great ambience, amazing food, lovely service, top notch hospitality. A must visit place with your loved ones. I highly recommend this for some great office dinners and weekends vibe too.

Went here with my friend for lunch and everything was so good! The ambience, the service and the food - everything top class. The portion sizes were also enough for the two of us. They have vegan and gluten free options as well. Will definitely go back once more!

Visited this place with my friend as we wanted to try it out since a long time. The ambience of this place is just beautiful ❤️ We ordered Korean style Chicken hot wings, Cottage cheese Nuggets and Grilled cottage cheese steak with Herb rice and paprika corn sauce. We also ordered Sweet lime soda and Soul drink for refreshments. The food taste could be improved. The best dish for me was Grilled cottage cheese steak as it was tasty and stomach filling. They also have a variety of desserts which are a must try!

This place is an experience that can't be described, only lived The food is amazing and served HOT. The taste is genuinely awe inducing! They've also nailed the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant, having a very slightly rustic feel while riding the wave of sass through and through. The attention to detail from the point of entry to the walk - in to the seating areas (outside and inside) EVEN RIGHT UP TO THE BATHROOM IS UNIMAGINABLY PRECISE AND METICULOUS, while still not losing out on the general quirky vibe they've set. The waiters are all very well spoken, accommodating, helpful and don't interrupt you whatsoever unless it's the food itself. The mocktails /coolers are to die for. Really enjoyed the visit. A must visit place definitely

Exemplary service, delicious food, hygienic safe colourful ambiance and best choice l for a #sindaybrunch or for that matter any meal- tucked away behind ExpressTowers it has a sense of privacy & is also central. I hosted my birthday brunch here and it was a grand success!

This restraunt does justice to SOBO in every sense of the term. The decor and vibe screams class. We mostly tried weird food dishes like beetroot, something I would never eat at home. But Sassy Spoon managed to make a dish out of beetroot one of the tastiest things I have ever had. The ravioli was a rollercoaster of flavors in my mouth. Really good food, paired with superb drinks. Sassy Spoon is definitely one of the best restaurants out there.

Very close to Nariman point yet affordable. Food taste is great just like their all branches. Ambience is good. We enjoyed good hospitality as place was less crowded.

Wasn't that hungry was just looking for some peace places and this popped up on zomato. Gave it a try and BOY it did not disappoint. Ordered their kpop chicken which was so delicious it was crispy and coated with sauce. The sauce was fingerlicking good and for the drink I ordered the lilac cocktail which was so pretty. It was just giving kpop vibes fr. The ambiance is just so mesmerizing. Overall very good experience just a little overpriced.

I had food twice so far and I am sure there's gonna be a third and fourth time. Overall experience was very good on both occasions. Check with restaurant if they have a set menu which is usually from Monday to Friday. Believe me, the food is very good, especially the chicken dishes and salads.

This place has great cocktails. Don't get me wrong, there food's good too but the cocktails trump it. The only downside, well not really a downside, but anyhow the little trip to the washroom is a bit of a walk!

Limited menu. Food was delicious. Flatbread and Nachos I ordered and I satisfied with the taste & quality. Yes this is not for the people who expect big menu & lots of items. This is continental restaurant. I am missing dessert because I was full. Rest things are good & I recommend this for sure

Sometimes you visit places which become a part of your best memories file. This was one such. The location, the ambience, the staff, the chef, little Asif who served us with a smile, the live music, and the FOOD was next to nothing. Tremendous. Will suggest you to go there blindly.

There was a strand of hair in my food. When I told, the waiter just replaced my sandwich. Not him, nor my server even apologised. I understand it's a human error, but one has to take the responsibility. Majorly disappointed. Never going there again.

A place full of warmth and the staff make you feel at home. Loved the floral ambience. The food is simply yumm......! Their seven layer hazelnut chocolate just makes your mouth shut, so your tastebuds can get the fun.

One of the restaurants which I wanted to try since a while. I ordered meal box.

Non-Vegetarian Meal Tray 1: It had Crispy chicken, chicken scallopini, herb rice, sauté veggies, double chocolate brownie. The crispy chicken was crispy as the name says but a bit oily. It came with a nice cheesy dip and the taste of both together was very good. Chicken scallopini with herb rice was a nice combination with chicken having a very good creamy flavor. It reminded me of Grilled Chicken Steak with Rice from Bombay Coffee House. Sauté veggies were good, and the double chocolate brownie was all chocolatey. 4.5/5 on taste.

Non-Vegetarian Meal Tray 2: It had Warm couscous salad, bbq chicken, mash potato, sauté veggies, and double chocolate brownie. The salad was good and so were the sauté veggies. mash potato went well with the barbecue chicken, but the overall flavor was not that great. 3.5/5 on taste.

Rating
Packaging: 5/5
Taste: 4.5/5
Value for money: 4/5
Overall: 4.5/5

The Sassy Spoon is a very popular restaurant with two branches in Mumbai. They serve global cuisine and bring modifications to a lot of dishes to make them interesting and different. The ambiance is class apart and servers are super helpful. This is a high end experience in every possible way.

Dine in Rating of The Sassy Spoon, Nariman Point:

Date: 18th March 2019
Time: 8:00pm

Please check the rating for each dish we ordered based on various factors:

1) Grilled Chicken in our house smoked BBQ Sauce with grilled veggies & colcannon – Rs. 740

Quality – 4.5/5
Portion Size – 4/5
Taste – 4/5
Value for Money – 4/5
Overall – 4/5

2) Tandoori Char grilled Jerk Spiced Chicken with Mint Yoghurt Dip – Rs. 420

Quality – 4/5
Portion Size – 3.5/5
Taste – 3.5/5
Value for Money – 3.5/5
Overall – 3.5/5

Other Factors:

Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 4/5

Zomato Gold: Yes (1+1 Free | Dish no. 2 was the free dish)

For appetizer, I tried the Tandoori Chargrilled Jerk Spiced Chicken which was served with Mint Yoghurt Dip. The chicken was cooked to perfection but taste wise I felt it was definitely missing that extraordinary quality which I expect from a restaurant like Sassy Spoon. I was still happy eating this dish but I wish they modify this to make it awesome like they do to all the other dishes. For Mains, we tried Grilled Chicken in Barbeque Sauce and it was heavenly. Perfectly cooked, perfect mix of flavours and it was a dish that made us happy in each bite. Grilled Veggies & Mashed Potatoes made this dish even more special.

It was an amazing dinner experience at Sassy Spoon & hoping to visit soon to try more food here!

Follow us on Instagram: @foodratingsindia
I can't even imagine a worse experience. My husband works long hours in nariman point so we decided to meet for a quick anniversary dinner at sassy spoon. Worst experience in the world! We first sat outside and got bitten by mosquitoes. The chicken starter I ordered was supposedly recommended by the chef but it tasted terrible. The flavors were all off as were the accompaniments. The only saving grace was how the chicken was cooked. We then ordered more food. After waiting about 20 minutes we enquired about the food and turns out that the waiter had not relayed our order to the kitchen! Since my husband had to get back to work, we didn't have time to wait and both left the restaurant starving. After this awful experience, the restaurant still had the nerve to charge us service charge. So for a non meal of 3 drinks and 1 awful starter we ended up paying a bill of 3 grand and left the restaurant hungry and very pissed off. Typically a restaurant provides a discount or gives one dish on the house in such situations but we were offered zero compensation for this absolute train wreck. Worst part is that there was no excuse for this service because there were literally 3 tables in the entire restaurant that were occupied and there were more waiters than customers there. I'm definitely never returning to this restaurant and suggest that nobody else should either.

Had a zomato table reservation for 8.30 pm. Reached on time but no table was reserved. Got a table an hour later after an argument. Inside people are waiting for bills but the staff is so clueless. Several people walked away after waiting more than an hour. We had to find waiters several times to get our table cleared after each course. Horrible Valentine's day experience. The only saving grace was the food. Folks inside the kitchen did a good job.

Located in an upscale commercial area, on the ground floor of Express Towers, Nariman Point. The Sassy Spoon offers a pleasant ambience. The Sassy Spoon is known for its great desserts and that was something I would give it credit for. The Sassy Spoon was a bit too heavy on my student budget but one should definitely give it a try for a good overall experience. The only disappointment is the portion size of the dishes for what they're worth. Overall, pleasant experience!

I went there on Sunday , when they had a Sassy FamJam - a fun and exciting Sunday Brunch with various activities for kids and parents and a delicious menu. There was a Special Kids Menu which featured a lavish spread of Nachos with Cheese Sauce, Garlic Bread with Cheese, Homemade Hummus with toasted Pita, American Corn & Olives Pizza, Cheesy Penne, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches and more to fit the little-one’s cravings.
All in all a must visit with family, especially on Sunday.
Food - 5 *
Ambience -5 *
Staff - 5 *

Chocolate is nature's way of helping us pass through the weekdays and Sassy Spoon does it right with the amazing bakery collection..!

One of the best Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse we have ever had.. light, fluffy chocolate mousse topped with bittersweet cocoa powder with chopped hazelnuts.

Their ambiance is nicely lit up with outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh cool breeze specially during Mumbai winters.

Such a beautiful, warm n welcoming place, they made us feel at home right from the moment we walked in. Highlight of our dinner that evening were desserts.

Basil ice cream with dark chocolate fondue with basil centre was outstanding.

We had a 75th bday party planned for my dad on 30th December 2019. I must say that Rohit the restaurant manager, Chef Chandru, Prince and the other staff members were extremely helpful in planning the event and executing it creatively. The seating arrangement, the menu plan, the food portions and the desserts were planned very well keeping in mind our taste palette. The food was amazing as usual. The Kerala style lamb, methi risotto, tofu and soba noodles, Cajun style prawn and the other appetisers were amazing. A fantastically planned event with a warm approach to make it special for my dad. A memorable day and the hospitality of the staff really made it special. A strong recommendation to visit this place.

Wow.. Unfortunately i could not review the non-veg as the group was majority veg.. But didn't regret eating the veg.. The soup was a Christmasy pumpkin and apple soup served in a cup and saucer.. Don't get a 1/2 here.. But soup was filling.. Enjoyed the veg "seekh kebabs".. Quantity was good.. Papperdelle as a main course was must have.. We had the pink sauce.. Had artichoke which gave it a unique taste.. Flat breads were filling too..

The sassy spoon is a very pretty looking restaurant located at nariman point. A lot of thought has been put in decorating every part of it. The staff is polite and the lighting out there is magical. There is a non ac sitting also available outside it which is well maintained. The ambience is top notch. However the food choices for jains is extremely limited. Even the dessert section has very less eggless items to choose from . I would like to suggest the management to increase the jain menu spread as well as make more eggless desserts available. The prices also seem to be on the higher side but the portions are filling. We had spaghetti and cottage cheese nuggets and both were good but not exceptional.

We went to this place for a sunday brunch with kids.
Had heard a lot about this place so went for an experience.
But the experience was not worth it.
The food was Ok in taste have been to many better restaurants around.
Kids also did not like the kiddie menu .they need to improve on the taste. May be the taste was not upto the mark because of busy sunday . But we don't expect this from a good restaurant.

Got in touch with Mr. Shri a day prior and reserved a table for 10 for my mom's birthday. He patiently listened to my requirements and explained all the services they could provide. The service during the dinner was impeccable and every single item suggested by Mr. Shri was delicious . We tried chicken , fish , prawns , pork and every dish was exquisite! He also caught me by surprise by bringing a cake to the table for my mom with the Happy Birthday song playing in the background ! All in all , a very nice experience and the food was worth every penny !! Would definitely visit again !

Restaurant : The Sassy Spoon
Where : Nariman Point
What : European, Mediterranean, Asian & Modern Indian cuisines.
Cost of Meal for Two : 1800 approx
.
The Sassy Spoon visited them recently, Nariman Point. I still remember when I started my food journey, it was one of my wishlist places. I visited them in 2015, location Bandra which is closed now.

Recently visited them for lunch. Ambience is simple yet so appealing with a pink cycle at the entrance, small external non air conditioned seating area surrounded by plants and High tables. Add it to is the internal bright, wooden rich ambience. Vibes is amazing and music is quite good.

Pricing is on par compared to food quality, quantity, taste, ambience, service and location. I liked few dishes Mushroom soup with cappuccino foam, Pumpkin, thecha croquettes, Mutton pepper fry, grilled chicken, found Multigrain pappardelle, White chocolate mousse with guava sorbet and watermelon mousse decent in taste.

Overall, a nice place to sit and enjoy some sassy dishes. Had Heard so much about this place and it had been on the bucketlist since long.. so the excitement was all crushed when we were the only ones on a saturday night.. the music was loud. Service was below average and expected quite more from a place so fancy and well spoken about.. the interior is sure amazing.. coming to food.. dont ask for the servers for their bests as they seem to not be totally aware about it themselves and thus suggest you to order whatever you like😂 the food is merely okay.. also they have only one desserts in eggless and surprisingly even that was not available.. long story short..total mood spoiler...

I visited Sassy Spoon for a couple of drinks in the afternoon. We ordered 4 drinks and were not offered or informed of the Happy Hour menu. This is despite me asking the server if they had Zomato Gold or any other discounts.

We were made to pay full price for our drinks during Happy Hour.

If you'd like to feed your bird some food worth ₹400 this would be apt!
The staff doesn't understand what portions mean. One can literally count the number of chicken pieces in this salad that is unnecessary priced.
Dear sassy spoon it's odd that you guys can con a consumer like this.

Def not going back or ordering again

Went there for a diner date. Place has good ambiance. We had Crushed cottage cheese and Pepper. Plate was small with decent proportion but very well made.

Then we had the best dish called Mexican Poi, which is on the lines of Goan dish, but was superb.
Must try
They did obviously reject the Zomto Gold which slight turn off.

The Sassy Spoon is a globally inspired multi-cuisine restaurant with a 'sassy' twist which aims to provide you with a burst of delectable flavors and a one-of-a-kind experience like no other. Located on the ground floor of the Express Towers building in Nariman Point and right beside the Air India building, this upscale, plush and spacious restaurant is a place you can be sure of beautifully plated and presented, delicious food!

They have a modern outdoor seating area which is surrounded by greenery and is a great place to enjoy a delectable all-day breakfast! While on the other hand, the interiors are cozy, dimly-lit and travel-themed, ideal for date nights or a laid back weekend lunch with family and friends. From a statement, eye-catchy wall filled with vintage, old-style travel trunks, to the quirky wall with a travel van to the well-stocked bar and bright coloured chairs adding a bit of pop to the wooden furniture and bare cemented walls.

The food at ‘The Sassy Spoon’ is an eclectic mix of European, Mediterranean, Asian, Modern Indian cuisines, so you can be assured that you have something in store to suit everyone’s taste buds! We couldn’t wait to get started on our meal, so here’s the brief:

1) Whiskey Sour – A concoction of whiskey and a fresh citrus mix. The sourness of this cocktail was perfectly balanced with the citrus-y taste, making it a really great combination. It was a smooth and refreshing drink to sip on! Highly recommended.

2) Coffee Cooler – Being a coffee lover, I instantly decided to give this mocktail a try! The perfect blend of cold brew coffee, citrus mix and zest. We all know that orange and coffee are a match made in heaven, and that’s what made this mocktail so special.

3) Mushroom soup with a cappuccino foam - The warm mushroom soup that looks exactly like your cup of cappuccino, but well, it’s a soup! Jam-packed with bold flavours, this soup is uber delicious and extremely comforting to the soul! Well, this is worth going back for! Would be a crime to miss! It certainly was hard to believe that a simple mushroom can have so much of flavour – kudos to the chef! LOVED it! Highly recommended.

4) Korean Chilli Chicken Wings – These Korean chilli chicken wings hit all the right flavour notes – sweet, spicy, tangy, sticky and umami! Battered and deep-fried chicken wings forming the uber crisp and crunchy outer covering and that sauce was finger-licking delicious! Need we say anymore? Something you absolutely can’t go wrong with! Highly recommended!

5) Mutton Pepper fry, curry leaves and black pepper on mini Malabari parotta – Soft mini parottas topped with a spicy mutton pepper fry and is garnished with crisp curry leaves and black pepper, and chopped onions, tomatoes and fresh coriander. LOVED the South-Indian twist to this dish. The mutton was cooked to perfection and the dish was well-balanced.

6) Whole wheat fettuccine, long beans, pickled radish with moringa cream sauce and pickled carrots – A healthy whole wheat pasta dish in a creamy moringa cream sauce. The pasta was well cooked and the cream sauce was smooth and silky. However, this dish could have done with more pickled veggies.

7) Butter tossed mushroom gnocchi in a porcini cream with roasted shallots, shimeji mushroom, arugula and parmesan shavings – Silky smooth, creamy and flavour-packed porcini cream sauce with butter tossed and pillow-y soft mushroom gnocchi along with shimeji mushrooms, arugula and parmesan shavings. Well, another dish that is sinful and is the very definition of comfort food! It certainly brings a smile to your face and is just warms up the heart! Rich, delicious and an absolute stunner of a dish! Highly recommended.

8) Saffron Ravioli stuffed with Goan sausage, basil and a corn cream sauce – Saffron stuffed with spicy Goan sausages topped with basil and a creamy, silky smooth corn cream sauce. It was topped off with some pan-seared baby tomatoes. A fusion of Italian and Indian food, this dish was perfectly balanced and tasted good.

9) Thai style prawns with bird eye chilli & oyster sauce served with spiced jasmine rice – A fragrant and aromatic dish comprising of a spiced jasmine rice and Thai style prawns. The prawns were juicy, succulent and just melted in the mouth. The oyster sauce gravy was packed with flavor and complemented the jasmine rice very well.

10) Caramelized white chocolate & watermelon mousse served with a guava chilli sorbet - Love the different textures and flavours from the jelly, chocolate shards, caramel crisps and the smooth guava chilli sorbet. The guava chilli sorbet was exceptionally good and evoked childhood memories! The caramelized white chocolate and watermelon mousse was a perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, and the guava chilli sorbet gave this dish a hit of spiciness! To top it off, it is certainly the most beautiful looking dessert I’ve seen till date – totally Instagram-worthy. LOVED it! Highly recommended.

On the whole, we had an amazing experience at ‘The Sassy Spoon’. Their menu is certainly innovative, modern and exciting! The staff were polite and helpful, food was delicious, ambience was well-done up, there’s nothing more we could ask for, really! A must visit!

One of the most premium office locations in South Mumbai - Express Towers is host to The Sassy Spoon. Located on the ground floor, it is divided in two sections - outdoor seating as well as indoor. One is welcomed with beautiful fairy lights on the sides as well as fairy light chandeliers from top. Interiors are well done and have a rustic feel. One of the walls is super unique with so many suitcases. A neat bar section and a jukebox stand from where one can control music. Quite a big space and can easily accommodate large groups. Restaurant serves multi cuisine, primarily European, Asian and Modern Indian.

Talking about what all I tried at the Sassy Spoon -

We started with the Mushroom Soup with Cappuccino Foam on top. Superb way to begin your meal, the texture was rich, thick and creamy. Recommended. In this meal I actually went heavy on mushrooms, felt like having more and more of it. Hence also had a main with mushrooms in it. Next, we tried couple of starters - Teriyaki Glazed Tofu and Pumpkin, Corn and Green Chillies Thecha Croquettes. Tofu was served with lotus root, toasted sesame and scallions, where as Thecha Croquettes was served with pomegranate molasses dip. Both dishes were prepared well, those who dont have a preference for Tofu may go for Thecha. Fried croquettes prepared really well and tasted nice. Recommended.

Along with food, we had ordered for mocktails - Very Berry Khatta and Virgin Mojito. I would strongly suggest to go for their signature drink Very Bery Khatta which is a Kala khatta based drink with Mulberries, orange slice, pomegranate and grapes. Mixed well and a refreshing drink. Strongly recommended. From the mains section, we tried another mushroom delicacy - Butter tossed mushroom gnocchi and Multigrain pasta (pappardelle) in fenugreek pesto cream sauce. Again both dishes prepared quite well, depending on your preference for mushroom you may choose the dish. Mushroom Gnocchi was in porcini cream sauce with shallots, shimeji mushroom and topped with parmesan cheese. Creamy and thick, portion size was quite filling. Pasta dish has egg in its preparation so those who don't prefer egg should make a note of this. Also note, its multigrain and not the regular pasta noodles, which means a little harder. I personally enjoyed the flat pasta noodles along with the creamy pesto sauce and topped with cherry tomatoes. Quite different from the regular alfredo or arabiattas.

Last but not the least, we tried the White Caramelized Chocolate & Watermelon Mousse along with Guava Chilli Sorbet. I personally just loved the watermelon mousse, was not too sweet, just perfect. Mousse was placed on the caramelized white chocolate so those who prefer sweet can have a bite along with it and guava chilli sorbet adds a bit of sourness. All flavours in just one dessert. Perfect way to end a meal. Just go and try this dessert for sure.

All-in-all an evening well spent and a experience at The Sassy Spoon. Next time shall also visit the The Sassy Teaspoon which is their patisserie.

Jatin Shah

The Sassy Spoon is a quirky restaurant located right off the marine drive. Have been planning to visit for the last 2 years and finally went for lunch all the way across town this sunday. We ordered the following -
1. Leek and potato soup with parmesan melba
It was a thick creamy soup, subtle tasting. A comfort dish for a rainy day.

2. Multigrain pappardelle with palm hearts, cherry tomatoes in pesto sauce
Absolutely amazing flavor. The pasta was made inhouse with multigrain flour. Had a good creamy texture. Very different. Must try.

3. Garlic roasted garden fresh veggies flatbread
It is like a crisp thin crust pizza, loaded with veggies and cheese. Yum!

4.Sticky toffee pudding
A bit too much on the sweeter side, but loved it. It is a pudding topped with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream

5. Seven textured hazelnut and chocolate
All i will say about this is - its a chocolaty heaven!!

Ever since I first visited this place, it has always been my go to place. Everything about this place is great. The food is delicious and service great. Staff is very polite and friendly. The decor deserves a special mention. The stacked up trunks is an eye catching corner and reminds of the old world charm. Till date I receive compliments from my hubby for discovering this amazing place. Feels great to be back here each time. Keep up the good show.

I think it's a little over hyped up. The food is expensive but the quantity isn't that great. I have been three times to this place now. Recently the taste of the food has deteriorated. The ambience n decor is good. But I think it's not really pocket friendly when it comes to terms with quality n quantity of food.

Absolutely love this place !! The photos don’t do justice to this place. Love the ambience the staff is courteous. The food is delicious.
The pink sauce pasta was yumm. It had the right amount of flavours and spices. Tried their chicken burger. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. it’s heavy and filling. Lastly Peprika celery chicken which was again great in taste and it’s a good option when you’re looking for something healthy

Overall Experience : It was good and I would recommend to go there and try it out
Ambience : 4/5
Food : 4/5
Overall Service 3/5 ( because there was some mistake in the bill )

Tried the Pork Ribs, Paprika Grilled Chicken and 7 layered dessert.
Food was delicious and well presented. Portions serve 1 person.
Ambience was OK.
Overall great food- though pricing works out to be much higher than what is indicated in Zomato

They know how to treat their customers better.
From the amazing liquers to the perfect desserts, sassy spoon should not be missed out when you are near the marine drive or nariman point. A perfect place to be on a weekend. Tasty food and quick service.

The Sass in The Saasy Spoon is clearly visible when you visit the place. It was a girls night out and we decided to dine at The Sassy Spoon. As soon as I got out of the car the valet was at my car door to fetch me in. The ambiance is spectacular, there is an outdoor seating available as well which is cute and pretty, we visited that place during summer so sitting out was not an option. They have sort of given a rustic look on the inside of the restaurant which is quite cool. So we ordered Tandoor char grilled jerk spiced chicken the chicken was cooked perfectly and the masala was on point, Sassy smoked chicken tikka and some cosmopolitan to go with it. The food was great and the music and the ambiance too. All in all a great place to go to. It gives you the perfect SOBO vibe.

I loved the Chocolate And Hazelnut Tart. The amalgamation of a classic combination done right. A balance between sweetness of all three major elements and a crumbly base. Couldn’t have asked for a better alternative.

A really cozy place to be. Its quiet and peaceful, and you can definitely visit if you're looking for a nice place to spend time at. The food is good and the ambiance gives out good vibes.
We ordered
1) Tofu burger
2) the flatbread was really good.

A lively and lit restaurant just behind hotel Trident at Nariman point. One of the places in Mumbai that serves authentic pork chops. Highly recommend to all the pork lovers. The beer battered prawns was toothsome too👍
The service is a little slow but the tasty food was worth the time. The best thing is the complimentary tiny brownie served at the end of the dining ❤️

Ambience is ok actually, infact smaller that thought to be .. also food is good enough.. was expecting too much from this place I guess..

Their small plates option are very disappointing..

You could opt for salad and main course instead .. that's pretty value for money ..

On and all this won't be my go to restaurant when I am in that part of the town ..

Even when you have a confirmed reservation, ( which has been reconfirm by the staff n hour before ETA), you reach the restaurant only to find out that you need to wait for another 20-30 mins.
The second time, on Parsi New year, in hope to celebrate with Sassy, we call to reserve and are put on wait list, shortly after we get confirmation message. When I call to check and reconfirm due to previous experiences, my call is on hold / forgotten. When I call back, they don't have my reservation!!!!

Last weekend visited this place with family, had a bitter experience. The place is too hyped. There are hardly any spaces between two tables to move. The food is average. The waiters are polite but the service is late. Won't visit again.

This place was on top of my checklist from last couple of months. And so, my last weekend started with delightful dinner here! (basically Friday night dinner it was).

So here we started with Crushed cottage cheese and pepper nuggets with jalapenos and zaiatra mayo. It was perfectly stuffed cottage cheese balls with mild flavour of black pepper. Zaiatra mayo I tried it for the first time. It was different.

Then came fresh green peas risotto which was served with zucchini, carrot, pumpkin & layered with with Camembert cheese. The light green coloured risotto was perfect backed and was awesome.

Multigrain pappardella with palm heart, cherry tomatoes, grilled fennel in fenugreak pesto cream sauce. It was something very different what I had. Exactly I don't know what it was, but what I figured out was puffed rice cooked gently in creamy pesto sauce.

And we ended up here with paneer Tikka biryani with Raita. Biryani was OK . It could have been much better!

Overall I would rate the place 4.5/5.
Good food and service. They had some good gin-based cocktails and gave good recommendations for the drinks. The starters and mains were good, will recommend the burgers too. Cheers

Good food. The herbs etc used in pasta had a good authentic taste (as against many fine dining). The flat bread is a must. Was a good experience. Hope to return again

The ambiance of this restaurant is full of poise, elegance and the aromas of modern Indian cuisine. I went with 2 of my friends and each of us ordered a non alcoholic mocktail. They were pretty good! We ordered one appetiser and one main course and to our surprise the quantity was sufficient to fill our tummies. The appetisers are slightly overpriced but the quantity of the main course is great. We had ordered the paneer tikka biryani and it was delicious. I would love to revisit this place and get a table outside :) Will recommend this place for a nice, fine meal!

Awesome is the only word that I can think of. They accommodated just before closing. Didn’t even uttered a word about last order or any other sort of thing. Great hospitality and service. Thank you TSS. Will see you soon guys.

I loved this Cozy place. Great food, even greater service and the music was amazing. Rohan can sing just about anything and make it sound perfect.
The food wasn’t just yummy but was also very well presented. The patio decor was minimalist yet pretty. Open space that is not crowded by over-seating.
The heavy rains made for a lovely night chilling with my best buds!

The sassy spoon was an unexpected gastronomic journey.. decided to meet with a few of my friends for dinner. Rohan, who was singing live made the ambience all the more better along with the delectable food.
The dishes we tried were : patatas bravas, chorizo naan (a must try for pork lovers), pumpkin croquettes and the star of the evening was the shrilankan chicken pakodaswith an awesome tomato base sauce as an accompainment
KODOS to chef Amit Bhatia and his entire team, also Ashish the manager was extremely helpful 🙂

The Sassy spoon!! You made my day for real !

Ambience: pretty bright and vibrant! It has outdoor and indoor seating as well.

Food: what we ordered?

•CAPPUCINO: go in for this if you want less milk more foam. Coffee was very strong, just how i like it! Recommended if coffee lover! Also can we take a minute to appreciate their crockery!

•FLATBREAD: i chose the garlic roasted garden fresh veggie with garlic crumbs and basil flatbread. Comes in 4 pieces topped with quite a good amount of cheese. This can do as a good appetizer id say

•POIS: This dish stole my heart! They were pita pockets having some patty filled cheese and sriracha mayo , white onions and sprouts. A generous portion of fries alongside was served too. Every bite of pois left me wanting for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

•DARK CHOCOLATE AND BASIL FONDANT: Was recommended to try this one when i told the waiter that i was looking to devour something different! So this is basically chocolate fondant with liquid chocolate and basil centre served with basil pine ice cream. Absolutely adored every bite! Was not too sweet, something so different yet yummmy! Some restaurants do leave you speechless with their work! Note: it takes 20 minutes for it to arrive, so order accordingly. This dessert-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A must visit. With the zomato gold offer, very reasonably priced, bookmark this one!
