Must visit place , loved the food and the service .!! We have tried the vegetarian options and flavours were very rich .!! We tried 1. Corn cheese cake 2. Four seasons dim sum 3. Thai cury and rice Show stopper was corn cheese cake , a must have dish - Highly recommend.! The music system was not working due to some issue else everything else was fun.!

Amazing food with quantity service provided by Rahul. He was very helpful and courteous. Had ordered Traditional Crispy Lamb which too good. Xiao Long Soupy Dimsum was very tasty. Fiery Thai Shrimp Fried with Asian green chilli chicken ribbons was awesome. Mama’s chicken broth for the hungry soul was mind blowing.

Mamagoto is a super cute, super lovely eatery located on Hill Road in Bandra, a short walk away from Marks and Spencers. I loved the vibe of Mamagoto from the moment I walked in, The entire atmosphere has this beautiful East Asian contemporary fusion wallpaper, which truly makes you relish the cuisine. The food is also really good. The Chicken Platter, has a good variety of samples and is worth the money. We also had the Hakka Noodles, which stood out despite not having any accompaniments or gravy. While the prices are on the higher side, the amount of food you get with each dish is phenomenal. I genuinely loved the service. We received free table snacks too, which was a nice touch. But the staff was friendly and welcoming. The ambience overall was incredible but this was the cherry on the cake.

We visited Mamagoto for lunch on a Saturday. It's a quaint little place on hill road, Bandra. Food was amazing. We ordered crispy chicken sushi, mushroom bao and sponge cake with caramel sauce and ice cream. Each item was exceptional in taste. Can't recommend it enough. Would love to go back and try more stuff.

Absolutely lip smacking food. Couldn't recommend it enough! The portion sizes are generous too and prices reasonable. Do look out for the bowl meals. Must visit!

Excellent food . Even a standard dish like fresh lime soda was prepared very well. Recommend the Prawns wrapped in bacon , teriyaki skewers and chicken pan fried noodles. Service was slightly slow but otherwise a great place .

Mamagato It is Pan Asian restaurant located at Pali Hill Bandra West. Interiors are beautiful. Wall art is charming. Seating is comfortable, they have a washroom too. Being a dim sum lover we started with dim sums. We ordered Steamed vegetable wontons It had minced vegetable like carrots; french beans and water chestnuts in cheese sauce. It was nice. It was served with broth made of soy sauce. Wild Mushroom, Edamame, Cream Cheese & Truffle Oil dim sums It had minced mushrooms creamy cheese and topped with Edamame beans. It was out of the world, we just relished each bite of it Four seasons dim sums It had minced lotus stem, water chestnuts and thai herbs. It was served with thai sweet and chilli sauce. Crystal Dim sums It was made with minced of water chestnuts, shiitake, lotus root, and carrot. It was delicious. Vegetable Basil Cups It was diced vegetable and soya mini chunks, it was served in lettuce cups with tangy sauce. It was unique, crunchy and amazing. Crispy Chili Potatoes It was potatoes chips crispy fried with bell pepper tossed in chilli sauce. It was tangy and crunchy. Crispy Lotus Stem It was lotus stem, crispy fried, tossed with burnt garlic and dried chilli. It was served with hot n sweet sauce. Honey chicken It was boneless strips of chicken, slightly coated. It was tossed with bell pepper and Sichuan peppers. It was tasty. Hot Basil Chicken Cups It was small chicken chucks made with basil and fresh chilies. It was served with lettuces cups. It was unique and delicious. In-house coconut and palm sugar ice cream It was one of the best coconut ice cream I everhad the freshness of the coconut and sweetness of palm sugar was an amazing combination. They have a set menu too Monday to Friday .Next time I plan to try it .

Mamagoto is one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants in Mumbai. I will definitely recommend this place if you are a person who likes Asian or a person who likes to try new dishes. Starting with the ambience is very nice highlighting the Asian aesthetic culture. The restaurant is pretty spacious and can easily serve 30 people at a time. Usually Asian cuisine doesn't have many Veg options but Mamagoto comes up with a variety of delicious veg options. We ordered 1 Ennoki Mushroom Bao which was the softest of all bao I have ever had with mushroom filling inside it and served with 4 different sauces. In Ramen, we went for Veg Spicy Ramen which is really delicious and spicy & 1 Miso Ramen with chicken as meat in it. I don't remember the exact name of Sushi we ordered but it was delicious as well. It was my first time having Ramen & trust me, Mamagoto didn't disappoint me. The staff is courteous and the service is on point. Overall a wonderful experience.

Mamagoto is a place to enjoy Asian food. Don't go expecting anything, but be ready to have your perspective changed. Location is absolutely easy to find, though parking is a nightmare. We love the Lotus Stem, & prawn dumplings. My son loves the Spicy Ramen. Decor is good, ambience is great enough to make you sit for quite some time. Service is quick, servers are helpful. A good value on your investment.

I tried to get good pictures but due to the lighting i wasn't able to get very bright pictures. Anyway, the food was really good and the menu was very interesting. Explored both veg and nonveg options. Loved the chicken satay and the dumplings from the aunty's nonveg platter. The staff was super friendly and you're served complimentary frymes while you wait for your order. Overall a good experience

It was good.. It doesn't have Korean cuisine but then you can go relax and enjoy. The place is quite friendly and peaceful but yes expensive.

We had some Tried some of the deep fried prawns, which was really nice. The sauce with it completed the dish. The main course which was some chicken and rice was the highlight. The food is really authentic. The only thing I would’ve liked more is the ice cream portion in the desert.

Mamagota has an interesting range of Asian food. It offers some unique and delicious dishes. The Aunty platter in frame is an assortment of starters such as spring rolls, chicken sataye, chicken gyaza and basil chicken cups. For main course, we tried the 8-treasure chicken bowl and the stir fried udon noodles which are as mouthwatering as they look. They also offer some authentic Asian desserts like sticky rice with mango. This is a must visit place for all Asian food lovers as they offer a wide variety and the food is absolutely delicious.

Quantity ✨: One dish suffices two to three people

Price 💸: Price ranges from ₹300-700
Great food, great service at a reasonable price! We enjoyed the Bangkok sticky rice the most, but the chopsuey could do with less ginger. The hospitality was nice too - Kamlesh served us very well!
Laveena Chouhan
Oriental restaurant with some good food and great decor. The location of the restaurant is amazing and they have valet which is a big plus considering its on Hill Road.

As I am new in town wanted to try some Pan Asian in Mumbai so went for quick lunch , place was quiet silent I had ordered a simple dumpling , and a mocktail to start
The food was quiet fresh and tasty as was alone skipped on the mains and has a sweet , banofee pie which was lipsmacking . My experience was really nice.
The team was taking best to serve me great food and spent good time.

Thanks
Shivesh Khandelwal
Staff is very rude and the hygiene is terrible, quality is poor for what you pay. Go there only when you don't have any option nearby else try to avoid.

Joy is an extremely attentive and helpful server. He suggested all the right things and was super efficient, friendly and quick. The food was divine as usual. Everything we ate was fresh and wholesome! All our best to Joy.

Visited mamagoto for the first time and I can say it is a good experience. The vibe is nice and the food too tastes good. For it’s price range it is one of the better places in the vicinity.
I’ll rate the place as following:
Ambience: 4/5
Crowd: 4.5/5
Staff: 4/5
Food: 3.5/5
If you are planning for a chilled out evening dine out experience with asian cuisine, I would recommend this place.
A place where you might be held back is the selection of cocktails. Though they serve nice cocktails but the spread on menu isn’t as big as I was looking forward too.
P.S. they serve a complimentary chilly sauce which has a unique flavor and I ended up taking a few packets home!! 😀

A nice and cosy place to enjoy some asian cuisine.
They have some limited sushi but its worth trying.
The dimsum and starters are amazing. The beverage list is also good have some nice collection. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Ita worth trying if your near bandra hill road.

Tasted great with sticky rice.

Overall experience:
Food: 5/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 5/5

Would definitely visit again to try more.

Visited mamagoto on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. There used to be a couple of them in the city but unfortunately only one outlet is left now. Had been a regular at the Andheri one.

The ambience is pretty similar to the all the other previous outlet except the lighting. I found it quite as you can see in the food pictures uploaded.

What I ordered:

1. Hua hin highway rolls: Mandatory if you are visiting mamagoto. Crispy asparagus and cheese with a dip.

2. Chamomile tea

3. Crispy lotus stem: too oily for me but tasted quite good

4. Java grilled tofu: something different that I had in a long time. The tofu is grilled in a leaf with their in house special sauces

5. Spicy Bangkok bowl: loved it well cause I like spicy food a lot. You won't be disappointed

6. Khau suey: my winner for the afternoon. One one the best khau suey in town with the perfect balance of coconut milk, ingredients and condiments

Overall a must visit (before this one shuts down too)

MAMAGOTO

We visited this place to try some pan Asian cuisine and the first thing which we liked about this place was the ambience.MAMAGOTO is a Japanese word which means play with food and this restaurant have basically a pan Asian cuisine but there is no shortage of options. This place is welcoming with charming service and their staff was very prompt in placing our order.

We like the complimentary food served at the start with the dips.Post that we tried Basil cup which is their recommended dish and the taste was really amazing. They have authentic momos here and we tried street style chicken momos which was lil spicy and juicy. Also one plus point is that they have a wide variety of sauces which compliments the dishes and makes the dishes more tasty.

Coming to main course we tried Thai green curry and rice which was good but will not recommend it as it was not that authentic.Instead we can recommend sushi and other pan Asian cuisine. You should try their cocktails.

So we will definitely recommend this place it’s worth a visit if you love this type of food with a good ambience .

This is a fun asian restaurant. They have quite a large menu with lots to choose from. I tried the porky tacos which was yum but the pork was slightly overcooked. Their green apple mojito was so refreshing. You should also try their crispy lotus stem. I also tried the mama goreng and the gyoza dumplings which were both delicious. The ambiance and interiors are cozy yet fun. The staff is polite, courteous and helpful. Will definitely be back here!
Smruti.palve04
hese is one of favourite restaurant. My kids likes the complimentary served at the start. And taste of good is awesome. Only suggestion to them complimentary is too less.. specially when kids like it .. it shouldn’t be restricted. As per 3 person on table , is the complimentary you are serving is enough? Hard one bit per person?
Arlene Rego
I went to mamagoto few days back was very disappointed by the service. I didn't expect such food to be served. The noddle soups were not up to the mark . The waiter was unable to suggest the right stuff. The spicy ramen noodle soup was so spicy and some weird taste. Overall the experience was horrible.
Devpriya Chakravarty
Rather underwhelming. The staff is nice and warm and their food decent. Not worth the price though

Service is good by general standards & staff is cooperative. Ambience of this restaurant is nice & welcoming. Putting it succinctly, Mamagoto can be a good place for one to savor tasty Asian cuisine and hang out with family or friends also.
I feel, though, that these guys must work on to have better sound options in restaurant to make one's dining experience cheerful & memorable.
Thankyou:)

This is the place for authentic asian food!

What we had ordered:
1 - Street Style Chicken Dumplings - they are popular for their dumplings and we had to try it out. it was very nice and full of flavours
2 - Schezwan Fried Rice - This was also good but i felt the portion size could have been better
3 - Banana Split - For desserts, there were not many options and so tried this and it was yumm!

Overall enjoyed, ambience is great and gives that asian look and staff is also friendly

The food is great and many unique options are available. The waitstaff was very attentive and nice. The reason for giving only three stars is the atmosphere. The music is so loud that it is impossible to hear even the person next to you or across from you without shouting. It was quite uncomfortable. Even my party members who are more accustomed to loud situations than I am agreed that there music was way too loud. It was a constant annoyance for everybody. When we requested the volume be lowered it was unclear whether it was or not, but either way it was still too loud. If you just want to stare at your phones throughout dinner then it'll be fine, but if you want to have actual conversation with your party then go somewhere else.

Good place for Asian cuisine with fine dining experience! An amazing ambience with a great service.

This place is perfect for a long lunch and catching up with friends.

The honey chicken was the highlight of the whole meal and should be a must try. The dimsum platter also was just as amazing. I took away a chicken breast in thai sauce and that was decent.

The dumplings and the other dishes were equally good and were amazingly well made. The staff is courteous and the service time is quick.

We tried some mocktails too. The ever trustable Pina Colada was good as ever. The Lichi Pop Rocks was quite good too. Plus I got 15% off on my QUICKPERKS dining discount card. !!!

Although the place is known for its Asian cuisine we dropped down for some Tea, Drink and Dessert and were left foodgasming to it.

We ordered some Jasmine Tea, Whiskey on rocks and Caramel Sponge Cake.

The Ambience of the place was just correct to the asian feel and the staff was very prompt on request.

The star was indeed the cake and is a must try.

You can't go wrong with Mamagoto. Been here thrice, and it never disappoints us. Love the assorted dimsum platter, the kolkata spicy noodles and their sangria pitcher to name a few. My happy place.

This is one of the top rated restaurants around Bandra. With amazing eye catchy interiors and curtious staff
We had ordered

🔸Aunty's Non-veg platter (which consisted chicken satay, chicken gyaza, basil chicken, chicken spring roll)
🔸Spicy chicken bowl

Slightly overpriced Would recommend this place only if you love Thai food.😊

#meri_foodie_kismatt

Loved the street style momos, peeking momos and chicken broth noodles.. absolute comforting food to make my soul happy 😊...No pictures as I was busy grooving to the slurping sound of the chicken broth and noddles

Loved the place. Amazing servers and delicious food at reasonable prices. Although the cuisine is pan-asian, there is no shortage of options. The honey chicken was the highlight of the whole meal and should be a must try. They have a wide variety of sauces as well. The dumplings and the other dishes were equally good and were amazingly well made. Would definitely recommend of you love Asian cuisine.

I had the Dimsum platter and the maki platter. The sushi platter was amazing! The fish was fresh, the prawn tempura maki had a nice crunch, it was delightful to eat. The dimsum platter also was just as amazing. The wrapping was thin. It had nice subtle flavors and the fish was very fresh.

This place is perfect for a long lunch and catching up with friends. The decor is cozy for conversations and the food pretty delicious. Must try their dimsums which are totally yummy! The pricing is affordable and their menu elaborate. The staff is courteous and the service time is quick. Good place for Asian cuisine with fine dining experience!

Nice ambience and courteous staff. I enquired about which veggies go into the veg pan fried noodles, and was informed mushroom, babycorn, brocolli and exotic vegetables in addition to regular veggies, however, when the dish came, it had only cabbage, carrot, spring onion and beans ! Quite a disappointment even though the taste and service were both decent. I took away a chicken breast in thai sauce and that was decent. Time taken to serve is quite a lot despite less diners.

Perfect place if you are in the mood for some amazing oriental fare. Special mention for their baos and dimsums. And my all time favourite Singapore spicy rice bowl. Also the cucumber mocktail is excellent. Only thing average was their ramen bowl. Otherwise a must visit.

While Mamagoto didn't do all that well in South Mumbai, I was still keeping up hope when I happened to visit the Bandra outlet this week.

What I really liked:
- The staff is quick to take your order and bring the food, they're polite and attentive so a big thumbs up for this
- The pricing - the three of us had four big dishes and were stuffed but it still didn't charge heavy on our pockets.
- The serving sizes are generous
- no loud music that doesnt allow conversation

While the food wasn't close to the best asian I've had in Mumbai, seeing as the neck to neck competition of 100+ Asian outlets popping open everyday, I still feel it's worth the price and can make a great meal for a casual outing.

The Gyoza Dumplings and the Chilly Potato is something I'd have here, but the Thai soggy rice bowl was a slight downer. Maybe this is the place to make a meal out of the baos, dumplings, sushi and appetizers (?!)

What I didnt like too much:
- the Rice bowl was decent but not a great punch of flavours native to usual asian food
- the interiors are gorgeous but the lighting is a bit depressing and doesn't allow the best photos.

Overall, a 3.5/5

This place in Bandra is famed to be one of the best for Asian food, and I cannot disagree with Mamagoto's reputation. We arrived at the restaurant (three of us) and received a seat easily as it was early lunchtime on a weekday.

We started off with the Crystal Dumplings and the Potato Chilli Fries. The Crystal Dumplings were heartily filled, and true to its name. Crunchy in taste, they tasted really good. If you think you need a more spicy appetizer, this isn't for you, but the potato chilli fries sure are. The fries are thin, crispy yet aren't oily, along with vegetables, and the spicy sauce gives a wonderful taste to this dish!

We also decided to order the Asparagus Tempura sushi along with our main dish: The Laksa Tribute. The sushi was okay, with a hearty serving well attached to its relatively costly price (it cost as much as our main dish). Would I suggest you have sushi here? With the squishy texture of the rice, probably not, but the Laksa Tribute was an amazing main dish, with perfect spice, smooth cottage cheese and delicious noodles.

We decided, finally, to have the Caramel Sponge Cake (pictured) for dessert. I almost never order dessert at restaurants (maybe because there's always good icecream elsewhere😆) but the fluffy and light sponge cake with its bitter toffee caramel sauce on top demanded another bite with your spoon as soon as you finished the previoud one. The vanilla ice cream paired really well as the ingredients melted in your mouth.

In all, I had a great time at Mamagoto and will definitely be coming here again. Service can be slow (as is normal with ANY asian restaurant) but the staff and food are sure to put a smile on your face :)

The food was very bad. The pad thai had a sweet sauce and when we complained, they said this is how our chef makes it. I told them the menu said authentic pad thai and their food was anything but. Other dishes ordered were also very okay. Nothing great. I remember Mamagoto's food being very good before they decided to change their menu and it's gone downhill very fast.

If you're ever confused where to head for Asian cuisine the restaurant is right in front of you
Mamagoto serves the most authentic Asian food😍😍

My favourites are the Veg Khawsey and the nasi gorean rice😍
Also they the cutest ambience and Perfect to go for family lunches or dinners

I am going to be pragmatic. The food is tasty. Quantity justifies the price. The ambience is really good. The waiters and the lady at the counter taking reservations, all of them are very polite and keep an eye on the table for even refilling water. This is not the case with many so called 'cool' places. The service is upto the mark. Service charge is discretionary, there is no force. This makes sure that people voluntarily tip the staff. All in all, a great place.
One suggestion is if you could add Kingfisher Ultra and light to your beer menu.

Amazing Spicy Bangkok Bowl - similar to bai ka pao with perfect amount of thai spices and herbs , garlic and chilli over sticky rice .
P.S :- sufficient for two people

We dropped in here for a super quick dinner after a long day at work. Ordered Ramen, which was just regular noodles tossed hastily in a spicy liquid that lacked the depth and complexity of a slowly simmered ramen. A large piece of fried (soggy) tofu, minced soya, chopped zucchini and corn did nothing to save the dish.
Basil rice bowl had rice stir fried in soy and basil and chicken mince sautéed in the same sauce.
If there is only one Ramen on the menu, it definitely deserves a lot more time and attention.

This place should definitely be on your list if you really want to have some lip smacking food .
Also the chef personally interacts with people and the staff is courteous and friendly.
Totally loved it.
•Mama’s Spicy Ramen Bowl
A spicy ramen bowl - minced vegetables or chicken with a spicy broth , with buttered corn kernels and blanched spinach.
This is the first time we tried Ramen and it was splendid , it was spicy and little tangy served along with boiled eggs.
This bowl has a huge quantity which is quite filling.
₹1500 for 2
Overall experience : 5/5
This cute little place in Bandra is worth a visit. The dumplings are simply the best and you can go crazy with their Khao suey! It's the perfect little place for an intimate dinner with family or friends.

We ordered pad thai and lotus stem tempura. The food was so bad we decided to leave hungry. The pad thai noodles was basically ketchup and flat undercooked maggi noodle like preparation. The oil used was rancid and gave my sister an itchy throat. They gave us some complimentary pastry as a consolation,we Thank them for it,but that is no compensation for bad food ,honesty.

Don't know why the other outlets of this chain are closing down. I absolutely love the rice bowl here. Comes with a shrimp fried rice, strips of fried yummy chicken, some prawn crackers, a mouth-watering sauce, a little salad for freshness (earlier they used to give strips of pickled cucumber and carrot which was even better) and a poached egg on top. A delight to eat. Other dishes are quite competent as well, but this remains my favourite.

The interiors of this outlet are pretty nice, with a few pieces of funky furniture thrown in. Service is quite good.

Food was okay. Staff are friendly but takes a while to get their attention. Gave us some complimentary tea leaves to take home, which was a sweet gesture. Thanks!

It was a busy day at work so me and my friends wanted to go out for lunch so we came to Mamagoto Bandra . As we entered the staff greeted us with a smile the ambience was great the music was great. As we were very hungry we told the server to get us the menu. We ordered the Chicken & Chives dumplings , Shrimp with dry red chillies , Chicken Scallion pancake& Hakka Noodles . The food was great and the service was up to the mark . Overall great experience. Will definately visit Mamagoto soon and recommend all my colleagues.

pathetic service! i am a big fan of Mamagoto, but this particular branch gave us a BAD experience. we booked a table for 4 for dinner for 8:30pm via zomato. It was a confirmed table. we also received a confirmation sms. we reached restaurant at 8:30, took us 10mins to give our car to valet guy, reached inside, and a girl named miss Vedika says sorry we don’t take reservations after 8:30pm!!!! i mean seriously!!! Then she asked us to sit at the bar and wait for 10-15 mins for our table. We sat at bar, one table was empty with 3 chairs, we asked them to add a chair, but she says that will block our way. we waited till 9pm, then she says another 15 mins, we waited till 9:15, then she says one table is available for 2. So she asked us 2 of u can start eating, other 2 can start in a bit when the table is available!!! hahaha 😂 Then she says wait for 15 more minutes and table for 4 will be ready, at 9:40 she says they are getting the table ready!!!! but ofcourse we left the restaurant at 9:50pm without any food! And this girl was very rude in taking throughout. One so called manager was available on the floor again very non professional. Really really bad service guys! very disappointed ☹️

First visit - we went for a late lunch and ordered veg Tom yum soap, veg chinese sour & pepper soup, water chestnut spring rolls and veg street style spicy dumplings. The spring rolls tasted off, the dumplings were tasteless and both soups were mediocre at best. Both our stomachs were upset after the meal. Needless to say,we won’t be returning...

The only Mamagoto restaurant remaining in Mumbai after they shut down the Andheri West and Kala Ghoda outlets.

Had a super quick lunch, ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Veg Shezwan, Veg fred rice and Chicken fried rice for the four of us.

The food was fresh, the portions sufficient enough and the taste was above average with some nice flavours.

Overall a pleasant experience, the ambience colourful, comfortable, with the rates being affordable.

The food was on the salty side...the staff was super super courteous....the drinks were at par....my only suggestion would be for them to check the salt/sodium quantity put in the food..
Mamagoto never disappoints in terms of Quality, Quantity and Taste which is one of the reasons why I keep going back. Their Price, Quality, Quantity Ratio is Perfectly balanced.
The Chicken Udon Stir Fried Noodles is the Best and my most favourite dish on their Menu. I cannot rave enough about how good the taste and the flavour is ! THIS IS A MUST ORDER DISH.

Tried the Fiery Thai Shrimp Rice Bowl for the first time. Beautiful, Clean and Sleek presentation. It came with prawn chips , Crispy Chicken Strips, Fried Egg and some Chilli Oil on the side. The flavours were great!

These two dishes itself can fill 2-3 people up to the brim !

The Maki Sushi Platter had three kinds of sushi. My favourite was the tempura prawn and Katsu Chicken Sushi. The flavour was mind blowing and fresh.

The Caramel Sponge Cake is heavenly.

Also, Even though I didn’t order sushi this time, their Katsu Chicken Sushi is Mind blowing !

My favourite Thai place in Mumbai. I have tried:

Thai chicken and water chestnut salad
- best non veg salad you can get here, loved the quantity of chicken and the combination of flavours

Water chestnut spring roll
- another good one, quantity is a little less though

Chicken Nasi goreng
- fantastic!! quantity was insaaane, not much chicken though

Dessert
- sadly no desserts on their delivery menu, fix this guys!!

Packaging: cute
Pricing: expensive, i got a 30% discount
They also have a dedicated delivery section called Oki Poki with a smaller and less expensive menu, check it out.
