Review The Barking Deer Brew Pub - Mumbai

Tarang Kulkarni
A really good place to enjoy some freshly brewed beer. They have quite a few variety of beers on sale and some really tasty food to accompany it. They also have live music and stand up comedy few days a week.
Yogendra Yogesh
Craft beers were really good. Honey and chocolate stout/heffweizen ruled. The place feels a bit cramped up. But with old school music, rock, metal music.. its overall an immersive vibe. You could find the outdoor seating better. If had enough drinks here during happy hours, move to hoppipola upstairs and make your night.
Rishi Gangoly
The place is great. Loved the beer & buffet lunch. Also they have a great space on the 1st level for workshops. A total must visit and Greg (the owner), is just a terrific guy.

Have been to this place multiple time ! Just love the ambiance & the freshly brewed beer , food everything is almost prefect at this place. Don't miss the sunday brunch must try kind of a thing !
Chris Torres
A bit hard to find, but pretty big venue. Some decent beers, but a couple weren't available.
Aditya Gore
Good ambiance and decent food. Craft beers are a must have here. Overall nice place
Pankaja Date
Absolutely love the variety of brewed beer they offer here.
Rakesh Botadkar
A really cool place. The vibe is great. The Brews spot on. Try the samplers.
Sarvesh Amre
Amazing ambience and a variety of craft beer to taste, do meet the owner of the place, he has some amazing stories to tell you about the variety of craft beers
prutha phadale
Great in-house freshly brewed beer served with some lip smacking food. As the portions are very less, you would either have to order lot of beer or many dishes to fill your hungry stomach. They also offer an extensive Sunday brunch with many mouth watering options. The place is livelier at night than during the day.

In the middle of the most happening part of the town, yet away from the maddening crowd. A lovely micro-brewery that has a limited but good choice of beer variants. I'd particularly recommend the wheat beer. Food is quite decent, though I dont remember tasting anything extraordinary.
Dharam Intwala
Amazing selection of custom beers. Nice pricing for the quantity and quality. Nice ambience. Music is mainstream. If you're just going to go and have a drink, party, drink more this is a nice place. Come here to discover more beer.
Dorcy Sabhnani
Loved the place. In a corner of the street. Not very loud n noisy so you can actually have a conversation while having a drink. Food was good and beers were good too. I liked the seasons flavour ale of heroes.
Dave Walker
A small but nice variety of beers brewed on site, plus bottled imports. The food was very good. Owner Greg is happy to shoot the breeze and talk beer and brewing. The vibe was great on the Friday night that I was there. Beer prices might be a bit higher than standard commercial beer in Mumbai - but hey, it is craft beer and you get what you pay for. Certainly way cheaper than craft beer in other parts of the world. I'll definitely go back.

Night life is awesome. Good ambience. There are many people out there waiting to try different beers for them this is the right place, This pub got almost all types of beer. (Indian and foreign beers) Worth visiting.
Kunal Narvekar
Freshly brewed beers served here. Try Belgian Wit. It's smooth and creamy. Also try their pizzas.

We were here for a in house show called Qissebazi . It was a story telling show. We had dinner afterwords , food was great we ordered Margarita pizza and lasagna. Ambience is good , you get the feeling of some good old European pub. Me and my friends don't drink but looking from crowds reactions beer seems good.

Tucked within the by lanes of the Todi Mills Compound, The Barking Deer is located bang opposite The Blue Frog. Décor: 4.0 The décor screams Rustic in every way possible. There is an extensive use of wood be it the furniture or the wooden rafters that extend across the length of the outlet thereby inducing warmth. Food: 4.0 We made a booking through WowTables for a specially curated 04 Course Menu encompassing a Salad, Starter, Mains & Dessert. Course 1: Salad A) Mediterranean Salad: The salad stood out in terms of the freshness of the ingredients be it the Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumbers or Olives. The only downside being the Feta. There was hardly any on the plate. B) Caesar Salad with Chicken: C) Caesar Salad with Prawns: The Caesar Salad’s (Chicken & Prawn) however left me impressed. The Chicken used was perfect and so were the Croutons. The dressing did not disappoint too. It was just enough to coat the ingredients and not drown them (which does seem to be the case at other places where this one’s ordered before). Course 2: Starters A) Harissa Chicken Skewers: The Harissa Sauce basted on the chicken does receive a thumbs up. However, the meat was a bit less tender, something not expected from chicken at least. I did like the slice of pineapple though on which the chicken lay. It reminded me of the classic Hawaiian Chicken & Pineapple Combo (One not many would be fond of ;)) B) Chicken Sliders: The Chicken mince used in the patty had a nice balance between the sweet and spicy flavours & that does receive a definite thumbs up. C) Coastal Fish Tikka: A good balance of flavors with the fish being tender displaying a perfect glaze of golden. Course 3: Main Course A) Makhni Risotto with Tandoori Prawns B) Chicken & Roasted Corn Ravioli C) Grilled Mustard Basa A) Of the three mains tried the Makhni Risotto and Chicken & Corn Ravioli were exceptional. The Classic Risotto with an infusion of Indian Flavors through the use Makhni Gravy and Tandoor Fired Prawns had me licking my spoon to the very last bit and yet want more. B) The Chicken & Roasted Corn Ravioli too was no exception. The Beer Butter Cream Emulsion was absolutely delicious and in no way overpowered the light Chicken & Roasted Corn filling used in the Ravioli. C) The Grilled Mustard Basa was truly enjoyed by my foodie accomplice, me however not being a fan of either Seafood or Mustard found the flavor overpowering. Course 4: Desserts A) Calibut Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake with Lemon Curd B) Paan Panacotta C) Barking Deer Tiramisu A) Calibut Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cake with Lemon Curd: For me the presence of Chocolate in a Dessert be it any form, by far beats any other ingredient or ingredients used. Hence make no guesses, but the Choc. & Raspberry Truffle Cake called out for a hallelujah moment. B) Paan Panacotta: I really did look forward to the Paan Panacotta since the Makhni Risotto upped my fusion expectations, however it was rather too gelatinous for our taste. C) Barking Deer Tiramisu: The Barking Deer Tiramisu though decent wasn't exceptional as one may come of to expect from a signature dish. Moreover we were served with half a portion. I wonder as to where the other half went. ;) I assume our specially curated menu was to blame for. Service: 4.0 The service was prompt & the servers highly courteous. For more exciting reviews follow me on Zomato ID ronsonpereira V.F.M: 4.5 The specially curated menu through WowTables set us back by Rs:1,000/- Per Person AI which for a 04 Course Meal was pretty decent. I’d highly recommend the set menu albeit the limited options to choose from, quite simply for their generous portion sizes.

Sloppy service, limited food options and when you order them they are dished out cold! Decent ambience but horrible Lower Parel corporate crowd who are loud AF but hey someone's gotta drown the shitty music right! I can't believe a place as amazing as BlueFrog ran out of business but shit holes like this survive and apparently thrive! For every 'bro' that came up to me and asked me if I wanted to try some craft beer, "Bro I will give you some fresh beer from my tap!" FTS!

LOCATION –Barking Deer Brewpub is located at Mathuradas Mill Compund ; once here you have to ask for directions to find this place .With the likes of Socials , BSE , Doolally Taproom mushrooming all over Mumbai for drinks & dining ; this is one place which gives them serious competition as far as beer is concerned . AMBIENCE – The aroma of freshly brewed beer hits your once as soon as you enter this place . The interiors have a warm wooden feel . DRINKS – The offer you tastings of various beers with a description of each for you to choose from . FOOD – Lunch buffet is reasonable enough which offers wraps , thai mains & mini desserts along with a drink . We ordered the ala carte as well as the buffet . Their quality & quantity are both very good . SERVICE – The staff is polite & know their drinks & food well to give ample suggestions as per your liking . An order takes 15 mins minimum . OVERALL – If you are a hard core beer lover them you should not miss this place .

This was our first experience as live screening for el-clasico and sure it was so disappointing. At the start we have been forced to wait in queue even though they have informed us that for online payment users there will be a special preference and will be given direct entry. After struggling for a while we managed to get inside after 20 mins. Further the match had several glitches in between for entire 1st half along with 2 audios at a time ( English & Hindi) which was really annoying.

After a Mumbai city trip I ended in the Barking Deer Brewpub. From the UNTAPPD app ‘Nearby Breweries’ I found this nice establishment. As a Beer lover this is the ideal location to finish the day like this. I was welcomed by the friendly staff of this venue. The Barking Deer Brewpub has the right ambient for having a beer and food. Free Wi-Fi is available which is not always the case in India. I liked the music which was western style rock music. They are having a range of craft beers. From a Belgian White to a Chocolate Stout. My favorite Bark IPA. I suggest you start with a Flight (taste samples) and decide how you fill in your evening. Gregory the Brew Master himself showed me (even had a change to taste!) his new upcoming craft beers like an Imperial Stout and a Smokey Porter matured in wood chips. If you like craft beers this is the place you should not miss in Mumbai.

Beers were much better at "The Barking Deer". There were "Happy Hours" and "Beereza" throughout the week. Greg brewed some amazing beers. But new owners have completely ruined the charm of that place had. Beer prices have increased, quantity has reduced, quality has deteriorated. Woodside next door has plenty of variety of beers. And Toit is up too. Place should be named " Super Sad Pop-Up"

The food is really good with some amazing beer the pizza and pasta here are the best to die for.. Worth visiting :)

Very nice brewed beers here! The flying pig being their signature style of wheat is very clean, crisp and light beer , other beers are great too! They have a unique beer which has organic honey in it and helps the farmers generate more revenue! Pizzas are a must try! Loved the entire place!

Good place .. Good ambience .. Music is a bit too loud .. n Rates are comparatively higher to d options arnd at Todi mills n pheonix
Jody Forrest
Surprisingly good beer. The brewery is at the back which gives the whole place a pleasant smell of wheaty hops (assuming you like it of course)

It has good music, good food but very less option for vegetarians and place is quite small.

Crazy place to hangout with family and friends ... Superb Starters and cool ambience with well mannered staff

Well, I cannot give 5*, even if I could. 4* maybe. I love the choices of own crafted beer. Unfortunately, some of them are really mild, like a light beer but there are others like the Chilli which is something different and makes it up. Everyone has a different taste, so OK. The AC was, as in many locations, way too cold. Why set it to 15 degrees and then put on a jacket? Please. The order was a bit confusing. I thought I ordered a main course but it was only a starter. Pity. But the chicken-stuffed-chilli-bacon-wrapped are more than recommended...but the Animal Fries not that way. Like Fries-Bolognese. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay and will give 4* next time

Live and cozy ambience.... Location is bad and in congested lower parel area... Food is extremely good in taste and starters like fish chilly and Chicken chilly are too good. Recommended for groups of friends...not a family place....

Awesome place. Best for beer lovers. Even food is also good

Lovely place with a quaint and beautiful ambience. Warm and friendly staff and a very lovely owner with a pleasant personality who is very involved in all the activities happening. Loved the stand up show that happened yesterday. Will definitely visit again! Cheers!

From good food to amazing staff, the barking deer is one such place you must visit. They have this cool offer running every Wednesday after 10pm for female where you will get one coupon which she can utilize to order her any drink and pay the amount according to the date. Say it's 3rd of that month, pay only ₹3 for that drink. It starts after 10 pm and is only for females. Ambience is pretty cool.

Went there a couple of times with friends.<br/><br/>It has nice feel to it. Good ambience and service as well.<br/><br/>Friends tried Happy by Thirsty and it had a very unique taste.

The services out here are pathetic. The air conditioning doesn't work at all and no staff available when scheduling an event...very bad. This is just a solo review, I hope you do something about it.

When timing's not on your side and my procrastination habits didn't let me visit the Barking Deer in the past,I was sad. But talk about destiny that I happened to pop up here during their in-house brewed beers and gulp down their dine appetizers as well. Life's awesome 😎<br/><br/>I was welcomed with shots of their specialised brewed beers and each of them had a unique impact. <br/>🍹. Happy by Thirsty<br/>🍹. Flying pig Belgian wit<br/>🍹. Going bananas hefenweizen<br/>🍹. Happy kick-ass kolsch<br/>The order of my top to least favourite of the beers I had here. <br/><br/>For the ones who will handle the steering wheel, the Mocktails can be tried are:<br/>🍹. Cosmopolitan and basil Mojito. Very basic yet satisfying.<br/><br/>🥑. Falafel Sliders; For starters we had this chickpea based falafel patty all dolled up in mini burger buns as sliders and topped with Black olives and garnished with Coriander.<br/>🌶️. Whopping Chilli Poppers; bellpeppers wrapped around cheese and jalapeno stuffing which was really good.<br/>🍄. Late 'Shroomer Pao. Ok by pao I assumed the pav and Bao fusion and was expecting a fuller version of the three sided open bread(pav) but nah,it's just a regular pav stuffed with mushrooms cooked in spices.<br/>🍖. Lamb-Er-Gini Pao;Gheez, the name caught my attention and so did the dish. A slight change tho,let the lamb cook for a longer while to elevate the taste and enhance the tenderness of the meat which will be juicy enough to blend with the dry bread and taste wholesomely great. Not a big issue though. Both the paid were served with mint chutney and colourful fryums.<br/><br/>🥘. The Farmhand Lasagna; Starting off the mains with a gorgeous Lasagna bowl. I'm in! Liked the flavours induced in here. <br/>🎏. Fish of Fury Sizzler; My first ever experience of having a fish sizzler. Soft, succulent pieces of basa fillet resting over a bed of rice sever along with sauteed veggies and French fries. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>No matter how full you may be,there's always room for desserts. Because they go straight to one's 💓<br/>Tier-A-Misu; The coffee based dessert served in a Martini glass with layers of goodness along with crunchy biscuits and topped with basil leaf making it look like a tiramisu plant of sorts.<br/><br/>The experience was enjoyable and I would try out their other cocktail based concoction as well in my next visit.<br/><br/>Till then, Cheerio 💗

This place is located at Mathura Das mills compound, on the lane parallel to Hoppipola. The ambience is cozy and warm. Music is good.<br/><br/>The bar section is on one end<br/>where they also have a dartboard placed in the corner. What caught my attention was frames of humans, depicting raw emotions.<br/><br/>The tables are well placed on the ground floor, the level one also doubles up for events. (I have come here as a part of workshop twice)<br/><br/>What I ate -<br/>1. Veg Thai curry and steamed rice. <br/>2. Mix vegetables sauce with steamed rice. The sauce was perfect. I was left wanting for more.<br/>3. Caramel fudge and Chocolate mousse which were decent.<br/><br/>Overall,<br/>Food : 4/5<br/>Service : 4/5<br/>Ambience : 4/5

As you enter the vicinity of Lower Parel mills you just melt with the atmosphere out there. <br/>So I happened to visit this place located at the mills of Lower Parel where the business and the crowd here is a charm. <br/><br/>Ambience | was truest amazed with the ambience out here as the music is perfect to sit at the bar counter and have some drinks, I missed the dance floor here. <br/><br/>Hospitality and services| the guy named Rajesh did serve us he is very polite and gentle overall the service and the hospitality given to us was just amazing. <br/><br/>Beer which I tried| <br/><br/>🍺 happy by thirsty| to satisfy your thirsty craving this one is the best. <br/><br/>🍺 going bananas hefenweizen| the taste that of a old beer depends on person to person according to their taste buds for my taste buds was a bit bland. <br/><br/>🍺 flying pig Belgium wit| average taste<br/>🍺 happy kick-ass Kolah| amazing super tasty 😋 <br/><br/>Here are the dishes which I tried <br/>🍔falafel sliders | mini burgers filled with amazing patty tastes amazing. <br/>🍽 farmland lasagna | average taste as I am not that fond of Italian food <br/>🍡whopping chilli poppers| just delicious.. chilli coated with flour and fries giving it a spicy taste. <br/><br/>🍷cosmopolitan | amazing fusion giving it a super delicious taste <br/>🍸Tier-A-Misu| just a perfect desert with a perfect ambience. <br/><br/>For a fantastic drinking experience do visit the place and chose a seat close to the bartender

Over Priced.<br/>Bad service. Almost Empty Saturday Night but still the service took almost 20-25mins.<br/>But good food and good interiors.<br/>Loud Music, tough to talk.

Good:<br/>Nice place<br/>Polite staff<br/>Convenient location<br/>Yummy food<br/>Good music<br/><br/>Bad:<br/>Lights too dim<br/><br/>Went on a Monday evening for dinner for a special occasion. The location is very accessible if you take Tulsi pipe road while coming from mahalaxmi station.<br/><br/>The place was entirely empty with just me and my wife there. The ambience was calm with music playing in background but I found the lighting very dull.<br/><br/>We ordered following items:<br/>1. Falafel slider<br/>Filling, very tasty and yummy. It's like a mini falafel burger.<br/><br/>2. Zen mountain sizzler<br/>Typical sizzler, nothing out of the world. The rice was too less. Tasty but nothing unique.<br/><br/>3. Mucho Mango<br/>Mango pulp based tangy drink. Smooth and soothing. Best if you are not in mood of trying something adventurous.<br/><br/>4. Barking chilli toast<br/>Yummy chilli toast with lots of cheese.

We went here on a Wednesday evening. The place has a nice ambience wooden furniture and good music - relaxed place. We tried the Masala chai beer their season special unique combination beer and chai flavours. Sounds a bit weird but I loved it . To nibble we had the Macho nachos, focaccia bread with cheese and chicken with thecha yummy combo. Great mid week break on a Wednesday evening ! strongly recommend a revisit your if you love your brew you must go.<br/>I used my QuickPerks discount card and got 15% discount on bill payment.

Terrible food under new management. Had a round of appetisers. Salty mashed chicken bruschetta, old friend chicken and burnt potato cheese balls.

Chill out place for some chit chat and relaxation with well crafted beer.<br/>Music is good, not loud but perfect.<br/>Craft beer- Bark IPA was not available fir which I was excited. <br/>Had, kolsh ale, going bananas and Belgian wit, all of them were good.<br/>Food is the only thing which disappointed a little bit in terms of quantity.<br/>Menu and taste is good.<br/>Otherwise, very chill place to hangout. Thanks.<br/><br/>P.S - Please change your glass for beer, its like we are having water or soft drink or something. Get a mug. <br/>

I had been over here long time back ..but the place was too crowded .the food here was ok ..but the music here was nice .Nice place to chill.out with friends in group.
Foodie Side!
Nice range of starters, specially for non-veg lovers.<br/>They brew their own beer, so you can expect lot of variety in the same.<br/>Even they have a lot of variety in shots!

Food was decent and service was quick. Menu had limited option in food. Free 6 taster of beer for every table. <br/><br/>We ordered following dish:<br/><br/>1) Whoppin Chilli Popper: Stuffing was really good, green chilli could have been steamed little more. But stuffing taste ensured this dish was good.<br/>2) Macho Nacho: loaded nachos with lot of cheese and beans. Nachos were crispy and good.<br/>3) Missal Fonde: Must try, really good. Fonde was awesome and had spicy taste as misal. <br/><br/>Drinks:<br/><br/>1) Vodka gola: really cool and apt taste of vodka right till the end of the drink. Really good and must try.<br/><br/>2) Blueberry Sorbet: cool drink with good taste of berry through out the drink. Must try.<br/><br/>Desserts: Sizzling Brownie: Must try, brownie was awesome and hot chocolate made it more yummy. <br/><br/>Nice place to go out with friends. Finding this place can be little tough and u need to park your car outside and walk in.<br/><br/>Keep serving!!!!!

Have been to this cosy & enriching place thus decided to re visit it yesterday. Sadly we were forced to FIX MENU. Later we came to know via other guest that normal menu was also available. Its just that the particular waiter was acting smart and wanted us to spend (which we eventually did). The overpriced Paneer starter was pretty less in quantity (see the picture)@ followed by Cheesy fries and Hummus platter. Though, the latter dishes were delicious. Cheese Garlic bytes and Nachos were decent. The drinks were well made. Good ambience and music but one bad staff ruined our evening despite of paying a huge bill.

When you go a place that has “super”latives in the name, you should surely be excited but prepared for the worse! It’s an absolute pleasure to come here today; the Halloween night. It was jinxed in a way. Why you should visit this place<br/>1. Awesome service, cause there was hardly any. 2. Great music, cause the DJ belted our some awesome numbers (the music will start in 1, 2, 3, 4 mins ............)<br/>3. A definite rating of 5, but out of probably a 1000. <br/><br/>Thanks for giving us a good (hard) time.
Anjum Lokhandwala
The ambience is good...but the music sucks. <br/>I'm out for a smoke and can hear hopipola playing some good music.<br/>Friends if you looking for some good music with drinks there are many places around and skip your trip to this place and save your time.

Absolutely wonderful place!! Brought in a friend's birthday and it was awesome! Food was delicious!!!!!!! And the ambience is lovely too! Staff is very friendly!

Fantastic ambience and had a great time, food was good. You can get a brewed beer which you can taste first then you can choose one which you want that's the best part! <br/>Enjoy))

Good food and great ambience. A must visit! 'Meat-ing all the way' is to die for! The rates are reasonable as well. The music is lively and the staff is extremely helpful.

THE BARKING DEER BREW PUB<br/><br/>Love the pubby ambience and the servers are a fun bunch. Was a weekend and sooo crowded were lucky to get a table. The house brew was good chilled and hit the spot. The food won’t disappoint either we had the nachos and chicken skewers to start with the burgers were just amazing. But the music will get your grooving plus we got 15% off on the bill on my quickperks card. will definitely be going back

Invited in the launch party... <br/>The place is very difficult to find.. <br/>No space for parking vechiles.. <br/>Place looks glamorous with nice music, big crowd, smart Interiors.. <br/>The focus point if this launch was their in-house brewed beer.. <br/>But for a non-alchohilc person like me, have to satisfy myself with plain mohito.. <br/><br/>No space to sit.. <br/>Only few sitting arrangements was there.. <br/><br/>Only starters were served.. <br/>Paneer chilly, <br/>Barking chilli toast, <br/>Sunny Indoors, <br/>Aglio Olio Style Prawns, <br/>Mediterranean shiders,<br/>Meater burn, <br/>Fishy business, <br/>Smooth criminal. <br/><br/>Waiters were moving around with starters...<br/><br/>Other than starters, no food was served.. <br/><br/>Not a properly planned launch party.. <br/><br/>Warmth was missing.. <br/><br/>

Nice brewed belgian beers ..try chilled belgian pig beer ..starters chicken sheekh, bullets/pakodas and korean lamb were ok..vegetarian starters tandoori mushrooms, mini samosas were better, pasta n stuffed fish and chicken italian dishes were ok.

This one is long due.<br/><br/>I love this place, well, its not the food that I go there for, but the ambience and yes the BEER. Just love it. It is just the place if you want to loosen up, and enjoy. Go there on a Sat when the DJ night is on with your gang.
Sukanya Saha (Entrée To Dessert)
This place made me happy, but not super happy! We ordered the Blush Sangria (the quantity was very little) but their freshly brewed beers were legendary. Coming to food, we had the barking Chilli toast (which was rather BLAH) and the fish fingers which were okay. The service was very slow but the overall ambience was good.

If you are someone who is an avid beer fan and like to try new flavors this is best place to be. They are known for their own brews, may be not all will be as per liking but some of them are really good. There are few beer based cocktails also available.......<br/>Apart from these all the usual drink and cocktails are also on offer if you wanna stick to favorites.<br/><br/>Whether the nibbles or main food fare consists of usual crowd pleasures. There are few items such as  (Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Bhavanagari Chilies (Unique Fusion), Fire Cracker Prawns, Pumpkin & Beetroot Ravioli are must tries.<br/><br/>Absolute must try --> Paan Panache (Paan flavoured Panacotta with white chocolate shavings and Beer based Tiramisu. Don't miss it.....<br/><br/>Staff is very courteous and service is very prompt. <br/><br/>Ambiance is nice and only slight issue i had is loud music. however it is not deal breaker.

Good ambiance good food good staff and not too crowded so overall it’s a must visit for all those brew people as they are the first brewery in Mumbai so I believe it’s a must visit for all brewery people as the place is made for us

Very quirky menu and nibbles...amazing beer <br/>Staff was really courteous <br/>Amazingly good food and music. <br/>They have played well with the cocktails we had this vodka gola which was very refreshing and to satiate our hunger we called for hot chicken rice TWICE - that good.<br/>For nibbles we had - bacon wrapped chicken and garlic bread ended with hot brownies <br/>Recommend - yesss

Ambience – 4.5 /5<br/><br/>Food – 4/5<br/><br/>Service - 3/5<br/><br/>If you like the pub feel this is the place to be. The barking deer offers a lot more that just food and great music. Have attended a few screenings and events and have almost always had a fun time. We had a long week at work and we couldn’t think of any place better to unwind. A shout out to quickperks here the 15% off is also an incentive. We started the chocolate stout AWESOME !!! Though I stay true to king fisher this was refreshing. We started with meat mania platter , Chicken wings and the beer batter onion rings, stuck to their buffalo burger and their signature club sandwich for the mains and I have to say I was a little disappointed with tiramisu but after a meal like that one could say I was a little picky. The BONG of the evening – the Choc Stout.
Divyesh Patel
Was there for screening and a bachelor's party. It serves decent food and volume of music was about high. We could hardly hear the conversation from other end because of which the group was divided into two. Loved the nachos.

This is my second visit to this amazing place. I had to delete my previous review on Zomato to make room for the new one. Had reserved a table at this place for a Sunday Brunch with friends. It starts at 12 noon and goes all the way upto 4pm. We reached around 1230 since it was raining and found little bit traffic along the route. Were shown to our table. Frankly we were the only ones. I enquired and got to know most of the guests will arrive only post 1pm.
Ahad Havelivala
If you are wanting to try crafted beers, be prepared to be disappointed. The menu has approx 20 beers from which only 7 to 9 beers are available . <br/>Further , the crafted beers in taste are average at best !<br/>Don't be fooled by the happy hours either as the same applies only to the cheap alcohol and stuff that people usually would not order. <br/><br/>Think twice before venturing to Barking Deer!

A lovely pub to hang out in with friends. Has a very quirky menu, and bar nibbles. They are known for their beer and they deliver the absolute best. It's one of those places I love to visit over and over again. There are a lot of pubs in Lower Parel but this one is by far the best place for chilled beer after a gruelling day!

This place in Mathuradas Mill compound at Lower Parel is an awesome place to be there after a grinding day.... some very good beers but excellent food ... spl nachos, pizza and cheese garlic toasties.. super food & of course not to forget some gr8 music!!

Smell of the brewery, good food and some good music makes this place worthy enough to visit atleast once. Nothing extraordinary about this place though if you love beer, you have plenty of options for the same. I tried honey bee braggot and I really liked it.<br/>Non-veg platter served was good. Overall a good place to hangout without spending much.

What a placed hiding in the Mathuradas mills compound! <br/>Great beers, especially my favourite stout! Blond and wheat were good too. Even one IPA was much better than many other breweries. Masala chai was bit watery may be to make mild? <br/>Fiery prawns were so too crunchy with the fired flat noodles wraps (scratched my soft pallet) and not spicy as expected by the name.<br/>Grilled chicken spaghetti was tasty and mild.<br/>Good service! <br/>I frankly believe this place should have had better ratings!

Its simply Beautiful what a place they have their own beer which simply great gesture food is amazing music is good all to gather its great coming here

This Housecraft Pub is special, It has all the right things going for it. The selection of beers are amazing. The buffet has a lot of variety and most of all the service is legendary! <br/>The one I remember particularly fondly is Bark IPA and Belgian Wit (Flying Pig). <br/>I visited in the last rainy season and they had a great "Monsoon Grill" system going, where the Sunday Brunch had unlimited grilled food as well. <br/>They are marked as amongst the best Burger joints in Mumbai and they totally live up to that name! The beef sliders ordered were mouth wateringly delicious.

I love going here, one of my favourite places in the city. Early evenings are usually when I drop by.<br/>Can't pick out specific food items to suggest the good ones 'cause I've loved them all! <br/>But a special shoutout to one of the chilli dips served alongside the fries, it is a must must try! That is one great dip!<br/>Love the ambiance here. A very chilled out place with great music and great service. Everybody is always smiling!

Good place with good ambience staff management.<br/>There are varieties of Beers. They taste too good.<br/>They also have a loft upstairs , where we can go and sit. The walls are amazingly decorated with graffiti and quotes

Amazing ambience. Value for Money!<br/><br/>We went here after an official meeting. They have Lunch packages for Rs.400 and its crazy awesome. If you are here then do try their lunch spread they are amazing. <br/><br/>Though I didnt like the veg much.... The Chicken baos were amazing and Pizza's Satiating

The service is impeccable and everyone in the team is extremely courteous and helpful. I was really touched with the team's graciousness when I faced car trouble here yesterday.

The place is great. Loved the beer & buffet lunch. Also they have a great space on the 1st level for workshops. A total must visit and Greg (the owner), is just a terrific guy.
Rushiraj Sunkersett
Their beers are fantastic. Food is tasty but expensive.<br/>Service and staff are excellent.<br/>Flying pig beer is awesome.<br/>Once u try their beers u will hate our local beers like kf, bud, etc.<br/>Sunday brunch concept is pocket friendly.

It was pretty empty when I visited the place. Food was good.we had ordered veg lasagna and veg chilli paneer even the ambience was great and even service. It is good place to hangout with friends. Overall experience was okay.

Horrible... they add service charge as a mandatory charge post GST implementation... Service charge is not mandatory....its up to the customer if he wants to pay it or no...more so over the manger there does not seem to understand this...all plz be aware

Being an beer enthusiasts.. I went to this place.. <br/>I could only find very few crafted beers..one of the better flavour I had was chai.. Merged well into beer but I couldn't really find the flavours i wanted..<br/>Place is easy to locate and ambience is quiet good...<br/>Place is really hyped just coz of social media..<br/>When I asked for beers...most of them were unavailable..<br/>Food is not really I would recommend..<br/>When you claim to be microbrewery... Make sure you also pair the food with beer..<br/><br/>When I asked for new beers on tap and fresh brew ...I was asked to go for the beers in bottle(not fair).<br/>Finally I went to tsingtao and bira..<br/><br/>I would want to visit this place if they come with new and fresh crafted beers..

It was really good experience at this place on a Saturday night with friends.<br/>We started by ordering panchtatra Alcohol shots <br/>Which was the best option for 5 of us. <br/>For starters we ordered Nachos which was the yummiest<br/>We also ordered French fries<br/>Than we ordered chicken bbq pizza and pepperoni pizza<br/>Chicken pizza was good<br/>But pepperoni pizza was not upto the point <br/><br/>Overall good experience <br/><br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>Food: 3/5<br/>Value for money: 4/5

The Barking Deer Brewpub at Lower Parel is Mumbai’s first microbrewery, the concept of which is slowly gaining popularity all over the country. A Microbrewery or Craft Brewery is a brewery that makes and sells small quantities of beer themselves, but not at a typically corporate and large scale – for purposes such as trade. These are mostly owned independently. Such breweries are generally characterized by emphasizing more towards flavour, quality and brewing techniques, also they can be differing from traditional brewing processes of Beer. Such places have more control over producing customized varieties and quantities of Beer.

Had to take our friends from Delhi for Dinner. Chose Barking Deer since the Mumbai Street Food Festival was on. The drinks were all amazing. The craft beers, Sangrias etc. and the best was the Bloody Mary, the spiciest and the best I have ever had. We ordered for Pepperoni Pizza, nachos, vada Pao. sev Puri etc.  My friends loved the Keema Samosas and the service was prompt. Enjoyed the evening out.

The Barking Deer Brewpub at Lower Parel is Mumbai's first microbrewery - here they brew small quantities of their own beer (not corporate large scale). Via this process they generally emphasise more towards flavour, quality and brewing techniques. They recently celebrated their Monsoon Street Food Fest 2017 from 23rd June - 1st July.<br/><br/>"Good Cause. Good Drinks. Good People."<br/><br/>During this one week, we were invited to their Social Enterprise / NGO Networking Night on 29th June, which was open to all. This was in collaboration with Under the Mango Tree. UTMT deals with honey (helping farmers with funds for the process of honey extraction) and in collaboration with The Barking Deer they came up with the Honey Bee Braggot Beer. 10% off these proceeds go to the UTMT Society - the Farmers in Gujarat and Maharashtra to aid the honey extraction process. In short, this night was all about drinking beer, binging on street food, having fun and being charitable at the same time. <br/>The place in itself was packed with people and other bloggers. It had a very upbeat yet chill vibe to it. Very old world, wall arty, dark woody-rustic feels. It was set up quite informally for the event. The feel of the place set against the dim lighting, along with the stand up comedy and the super cool hosts all made for a very memorable night. <br/>We were seated at the bloggers table and the beers of the night, along with their absolute specials from the Monsoon menu were brought out one after the other (in order) : <br/><br/>Honey Bee Braggot <br/>Veg. Platter <br/>Masala Chai Beer <br/><br/>The Honey Bee Braggot was of course the "beer of the night" and I don't just mean for the sake of the event. This was brilliance in a glass - golden-ey copper coloured brilliance. It's slightly sweet, caramel-ey, honey flavour and creamy texture will make any body start liking beer. (Especially those who don't like bitter beer) Definitely worth every sip! And you're drinking for a good cause. <br/><br/>The entire monsoon menu was basically bringing Mumbai street food within four walled comforts + craft beer. The platter consisted of -<br/>Sev Puri: Its like the regular Bhaiya Ji ka sev puri has come indoors. With its khatta, meetha and teekha flavours very well balanced, this was a fine bite. <br/>Pani Puri: This was presented super well. Shot glasses filled with a mix of the pani and sweet chutney and the puri with its filling kept on top. It was slightly cumbersome to eat, also not the best since it had gone all soggy. Not very well executed. <br/>Dahi Batata Puri: On the other hand, this was a lot better than the Pani Puri. Taste and presentation both on point. <br/>Aloo Tikki: A crisp, crunchy potato patty served with two chutneys - sweet and spicy. It was pretty tasty but a little hard when bitten into. <br/>Vada Pav: A little uncertain about my thoughts for the vada pav. It wasn't the best, nor the worst. Didn't quite live up to my expectations of the typical, delicious, street vadapav. <br/>Nonetheless, the effort to bring the everyday chats indoor for Mumbaikars is very apparent and quite a delight for those who don't trust the street food during the rains. You sort of get the best of both worlds here. <br/><br/>Last but certainly not least, Masala Chai Beer, their season special. An unconventionally unique combination - beer and chai. Chai forms such an important part of an everyday routine for most people and is sort of synonymous with monsoons. The flavours of tea, cardamom, cinnamon, clove and ginger come through strongly yet subtly. This made for a very refreshing beer. Loved it. Especially it's aftertaste. <br/><br/>They even hosted a special beer brewing tour called the Flying Petal Beer Tour. It was great to see their brewing machines and get an insight about the special processes for TBD craft beer. <br/><br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Beers - 4.5/5<br/>Ambiance - 4/5<br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>Value for Money - 4/5<br/><br/>There aren't too many places like The Barking Deer that host events such as these, all for a good cause. In addition, you're not only enjoying exquisite crafted beers, but from time to time you're served special menus in addition to their existing delicious menu, along with some stand up comedy. This event was a total thumbs up! Very enjoyable. <br/>So if you love beers and want to have a good, memorable time and be a little charitable alongside, this is the place to be! <br/>Highly recommend a visit.

If you're from Gurgaon/Bangalore, you wouldn't like their beer. Their beer seems completely watered down. Food wasn't great either. We ordered nachos which tasted stale. Ordered a pizza which was completely bland. Went to social prior to that. Expect for that ambience, nothing was great. Not a place to go for you're a beer fan.
Pritesh Darji
Our first time in, and both the food and beer selection was great! On top of that the atmosphere was perfect, just a nice relaxing place to have a quick bite

I was here for a stand-up comedy show on one of the evenings. It's not too easy to locate this place but nor too difficult unless you're geographically challenged like me. Interiors are nothing extraordinary but surely like any decent bar & restaurant it wasn't tasteless, some portraits on the wall were quite impressive I reckon. They've an area upstairs which I'm guessing is usually for shows, downstairs the bar and dining area. <br/>I started with the beers of course. I was disappointed when the server advised they didn't have cider and couple of other session brews, so I moved to Belgian Wit and Bombay Blonde (happy hours boozehounds 1+1) and I absolutely loved the Wit. Crisp light and oh so refreshing with a peel of orange. I'll go for it again.<br/>After the show we decided to stick around & hog on some delicious nosh. By this time Barking Deer was packed and music fairly loud to the extent of deafening at one point of time (not my preference). <br/>We had built a fairly decent appetite hence we thought of ordering a starter & a pizza. The food just bowled me over. Regular Macho Nachos were sufficient meal for the two of us. Loaded with beans, sour cream, cheese, avocado, salsa and chips it gripped us and we cleaned the entire plate without even going once for the pizza. I can't remember having better Nachos anywhere.<br/>The entire exotic veg pizza was our doggy bag since we were so full with the delicious Nachos. The reheated pizza was my lunch the next day and it was a delectable meal. The basil and veggies were fresh and fragrant and base paper thin and crispy.<br/>I highly recommend the Nachos at this place.<br/><br/>Wonderful evening spent with a damage of ₹1360 to the wallet (plus show tix). <br/>Go to this place for the love of beers and if you don't like it, it's nacho-problem.

I am not quite good at writing reviews but this is One of the best outlet I found in Mumbai.. Authentic In house beers, tasty delicious starters.. Must visit place once in a month. <br/>My favorite dish is chicken thecha😍. Just yummy, spicy chicken with olives n mayo. Also the Lebanese wrap.<br/>You'll get surprised with session beers. #masala chai beer 🙆<br/>Last but not least.. The ambience... Just awesome.. Live music, especially friendly staff. 10/10 for all these.

The service provided is just great, the waiter over here are very friendly and they do provide quick service all the time! Talking about the food, they prepare great pizza they don't have a huge menu of pizzas but exotic pizza is just amazing! This place has great music and today they had a stand up comedy also! All I could say is great place to chill with your friends❤️

We went here on a weekday so got a table easily. The place has a nice ambience and good music. We wanted to go to summerhouse post this so just grabbed a quick bite. We ordered the Macho nachos which were really great. Would strongly recommend it! <br/>Then ordered pasta which was fine but the quantity was a bit less. Overall it's a nice evening hangout for people in lower parel.

Been here for a quick taste of their brewed beer.<br/>Can't really comment on the food as I just had fries which were standard fare.<br/>I tried two of their beers, the fallen angel stout and the flying pig Belgian witbier..<br/>The stout had a stronger coffee based aroma than those at other breweries. Lesser head retention but the taste is still top notch. A waft of coffee at the nose and a hint of bitter dark chocolate on the palate. A great beer.<br/>The flying pig was also pretty good. Standard fare at most of breweries, when in doubt order a witbier.<br/>They need to step up their variety though to keep up with competition..

Ambiance :9/10<br/>Love the darts board they put up there. The overall vibe was good.<br/><br/>Beer: 7/10<br/>I troed a couple of their beers.<br/>The German monkey one is the best of the lot. <br/><br/>They have only one beer that's strong- the IRP unfortunately it will make you cringe ever time you take a sip.<br/><br/>Food: 7/10<br/>The chicken burger was good.
Sindhu Alva
The honey bee 🐝 and chilli beer are my favorites.. haven't seen those in any craft beer bar, plus the ambience is so relaxing for a lazy afternoon with friends 😊 although the place is a bit hard to find for the first time it's totally worth for craft beer fans 👍

Barking deer boasts of a beautiful ambience. With wooden furniture, the pub looks rustic and inviting. With a shelf of a wide number of books on one wall, paintings for sale on another wall and a open mic stage upstairs, barking deer is an introvert's paradise. <br/><br/>We tried the craft beer which we didn't like perhaps because we don't really have a taste for home brews. We also had the chicken nachos which were all right but I would have preferred them without the cream. <br/><br/>So I'd say barking deer has a lot of offer in addition to food. It has a great vibe and it really does satisfy Saturday evening's need to chill.

A nice, relaxed place.<br/>The starters are good. The Texas grilled chicken and Harissa chicken skewers turn out quite good.<br/>Relatively limited beer options, but if you're not too particular about your beers, you should try their 'Take a Flight' option of four half-pints of your choice. Otherwise, stick to the Bark IPA. It's damn good!

Friday evening went for a sip of fresh beer as they have a microbrewery ordered Belgian wit <br/>They had some offers with an app YWait which was an useless app. For food ordered focaccia bread with cheese and chicken with thecha yummy combo however the bread looked like a street side sandwich another try was Mexican grilled chicken, nothing Mexican about it. It was chicken in Harissa sauce, all went well bill 1416 with 2 glass of beer 2 plates to share <br/>Problem: stomach upset of my friend which whom I accompanied follows by upset stomach for myself next day.

Barking deer-<br/>Half full on Saturday at 10pm. More of a family restaurant than a pub. <br/>Overall experience - <br/>Food - 3 / 5 (prawns!!! Yummy. Pizza - Ughhhh )<br/>Drinks - didn’t order n no offers at the outlet <br/>Ambiance - 3 / 5 <br/>Service - 2 / 5 <br/>Vfm - 3 / 5 on the expensive side <br/>Detailed review - <br/>Offers on drinks through some App YWait. Unfortunately it made us wait for almost 1.5hrs trying to download n make it work. Finally frustrated we left without ordering any drinks. The offers were buy 2 get 1 in around 3 hard liquors and Rs 51 for a whiskey based cocktail. If you order through the app the payment needs to be made on the app itself and its a horribly slow app. The slow wifi at the brewery adds fuel to the fire.<br/>for food we ordered a pepperoni pizza and butter garlic drunken prawns. Prawns were really good, fresh, well cooked and the flavours were bang on. They serbed a decent portion and the prawns were ranging in size from small to medium.<br/>the pepperoni pizza was such a let down. Huge huge disappointment. It was too salty, cheeze was less, and the crust felt burnt. Plus it was served cold :-(<br/>the pizza was another reason we decided to move to another pub for drinks.<br/>Service was poor. when the starter was served only 1 plate was given to me. My friend waited for a plate but the waiters seemed to be intent on ignoring us. After a 5 min wait i had to shout out to a waiter. Wjy would you just give 1 plate at a table where 2 ppl are seated?<br/>No water was served.<br/>the place is over priced. 2 food dishes cost us around 1300.<br/>maybe a good place for beer lovers, others may give it a miss.

Just tried the all you can eat lunch option here. The worst in the town. Ek pizza main ek chamack chicken. The quantity is very bad, and the taste too. Didn't enjoy it at all and will not recommend this for sure. Check the photo of the veg salad, it has just iceberg Lettuce and a slice of onion. That's it. For the chicken sliders, they were cold and the bread was hard and dry. Not coming here again for sure.

I discovered Barking Deer Brewpub on Zomato just when I was looking for a nice cozy place to hang out with a friend. Considering the positive response from other foodies, my friend and I decided to give it a try. Situated at prestigious Mathuradas Mill compound, Barking Deer has its own aura. Big enough sitting area for small and big groups is well organized. Their in-house beer menu is displayed on the board (along with prices) right at the entrance. One small corner is dedicated for the collection of games they offer to their visitors – Dart, Jenga, Board games. And every time I enter this restaurant, I am greeted by brewing smell which relaxes me immediately.

Barking deer is my regular after office hangout place. <br/>The place offers a great variety of brewed beers. <br/>Flying Pig Belgian wit is the one to try. <br/>Food and ambience is great too. <br/>Service can be improved.

Right in the corner inside Todi Mills the place is welcoming. Luckily the day we visited the place was not loud and not very full.<br/><br/>Ordered the beer from the tap... The size of the mug looked like they had forgotten the standard size.... Reminded me of the the movie Smirfs - dwarfs / miniatures. Same was the case with mojito.<br/><br/>The nachos place on the the other hand looked Fuller and as if one had given the plates to look at it from a magnifying glass :)<br/><br/>Two different experiences with the drinks and food.

Location:- The Barking Deer Brewpub, Lower Parel<br/><br/>We decided to visited the place after hearing about the unlimited pizzas and sliders for 300/-<br/>BBQ Chicken Pizza was one of the non veg pizza options we chose<br/>It definitely isn't a traditional pizza that we all love..<br/>They called it a "thin crust pizza"<br/>It definitely was a thin crust but more of a Nacho or Papad feel to it, this made the pizza too dry to eat<br/>The toppings on the other end were wayyy better than the 'crust'<br/>You should definitely the place, but mainly just for the beer <br/>Follow us on Facebook and on Instagram travelfoodie14

The food here is just amazing. Ordered macho nachos ( you cannot eat all of it without sharing), beer battered onion rings (jumbo sized rings), chicken lasagna, BBQ chicken pizza, etc. Do try the above dishes if you visit this place. The cost is around 5k for 6 people without alcohol. Overall a great experience.

I am trying to make sense of the inherent contradiction between the 3.5 and above stars this place has received by the very reviewers who have described this place as "average", "decent", "strictly okay", "disappointed", "noisy", and the plethora of negative adjectives I am seeing in review after review. What is the basis of your ratings and who are you trying to appease? <br/><br/>Two years ago, Barking Deer was an exciting, hip place with beers that you looked forward to trying, great music, events, and above all, service. Now, it's a tacky hole in the wall plagued by office parties, parents (and their toddlers running amok) and as I witnessed last night, a "celebrating stock market targets met" office party. Distasteful. We weren't served water 30 minutes into our seating, despite asking for it repeatedly. The beer (many not available) was strictly ok. This place is crossed off my list of option 2 or 3, you know, the kind of place you would hop into in case Hopipola or Woodside Inn don't have seating. We would just get out altogether.

Been here a couple of times now and their craft beers are really good. We had one of the tasters which allows you to taste 4 and then liked the Mango brew and the Honey braggot. We also had a rose sangria which was very nice <br/>The food was good, with some very nice items and some ok ones. The pork sausage on a stick and the grilled chicken with BBQ sauce were really good. The bruschettas and Korean paneer were ok. <br/>By the end of the evening the music got really loud so wasn't conducive for conversation<br/>

This place is located in todi mills compound and mayb difficult to find on GPS. I found this place just average. We ordered a pitcher and cheesy fries, pork sausages and sone herb chicken. Their food is quite nice and we liked it. However it's just a one or two time visit. Coz there was no service at all.

I finally visited Barking Deer Brew Pub to see what the hype was all about. It's located deep inside the Mathuradas Mill Compound, behind Zaffran and next to Woodside Inn, and was a little difficult to locate. We landed just before 8pm to avail the Happy Hour buy 1 get 1 free offer, before their Beer20 (Rs 820 for unlimited beer between first ball to last ball of IPL match) offer kicked.<br/><br/>The place is pretty big, and from the constant screaming and shouting we heard, there was obviously a raucous office party going on somewhere upstairs. We asked for samplers of their craft beer, and were disappointed when quite a few were not available. From the ones we did sample, the Bark IPA was too strong and bitter, the Mango Blonde was too sour, and Pancho Villa was too spicy (yes!). We settled on the Belgian Wit and Honey Bee Braggot instead. The Belgian Wit was refreshing and citrusy, while the Honey Bee Braggot was tad sweet, but delicious nonetheless.<br/><br/>For nibbles we ordered a regular Macho Nachos and some Onion Rings. The Macho Nachos are generous - full of beans, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The only issue I had with the dish was the the nachos were piled high on a small dish, and eating the nachos was like playing a game of Jenga. One false move, the nachos fell down on the table. I believe they should serve this in a bigger plate with a flatter arrangement. The quantity of the regular size is huge, and good enough for 3-4 people.<br/><br/>The beer battered onion rings were big and crispy, but unfortunately, without any seasoning, and served with ketchup. Surprisingly, they remained crispy for the better part of an hour, and were a really good accompaniment to the beers, especially after a liberal smattering of salt on them.<br/><br/>At 8pm, the party upstairs ended, and people started staggering down the stairs with plastic cups full of drinks. The DJ amped up the music, and with everyone standing on our heads in drunken stupour, it got a little irritating.<br/><br/>I agree with most of the reviews - go to BDBP for the beer, not the food.

I am a vegetarian and a teetotaler. Barking Deer is definitely not a place I should go to. But I had a good time there! I had the blueberry sorbet which was quite good. We ordered French fries, Margherita Pizza, Macho Nachos and Pumpkin & Beetroot Ravioli! And all the food items were pretty tasty! The music was loud and exciting. We had a great time dancing near the bar. If you have a big bunch of friends looking for a bar to hangout, you should definitely check this out!

Decent. Tried the Bark dark beer, Macho Nachos and Rawa Fried Fish fingers. The ambience is pretty classy; food menu needs to have more variety. The restro is slightly on the expensive side. Nice place to for treats and hangouts in Lower Parel.

I personally liked this place. It has this very classy ambience along with really good food and amazing live performances which suits the environment in here. <br/>Good pick on the DJ and the musicians that perform here.<br/>

Went there for the Sunday buffet to bring in a friends bday. Good Belgian beers. Nice ambience. Food was nothing out of the ordinary. Not much to choose from. <br/>Among the starters the quesadillas, bruschetta and sausages are worth it. The nachos and pizzas lack toppings and crispiness. Couldn't taste any fish in the tiny fish cakes or chicken in the jalapeño poppers. <br/>While others sampled the mains I avoided them once I heard others found the food semi warm and ordinary.

Not an out of the world pub for sure. Food, Ambiance and service is average. There are better pubs in the vicinity which serves better drinks and food.

The compound which hosts this place has other options like social, hoppipola etc. so why go to this place and pay like 1700 rs for 2 people nd not go to other places?<br/>Pros:<br/>1. Brewed beer 😍 Some of the beers to try are belgium wit, bombay blonde ale, honey bee braggot and well its summer time, so u ll like the beer even more 😉<br/>2. U ll find a place. (Unlike social or others where they generally don't allow you in on weekends unless you have girls in your group)<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>1. The bill comes on a higher side given the food items are expensive and there are not much items you can count as delicious.<br/>2. Whenever I have been there, the music never gets you up on your feet to the dance floor, which infact is small and if there are more people in there, you will find tables there and not much place to dance.<br/><br/>P.S.: Go when you feel like having brewed beer and it has offer on same like 2+1 or others.

Disaster.<br/><br/>Food: 1.5/5<br/>Ambience: 2/5<br/>Service: 1/5<br/><br/>Food: First of all, there's hardly any variety in anything on the menu- there's like a handful of.items in each category. Half the brews are also not available. The meat mania platter was just plain fried prawns, fried fish, more fried fish and grilled chicken- none of it had any flavor. Even the french fries lacked salt. We also ordered the seafood and rice with thai curry- which tasted more Goan than Thai. The chilli fries were okay at best. The chicken burger was totally tasteless and I barely ate a bite. The chilli chicken was ordinary. We ordered the veg nachos with beans and guacamole- was better than the other dishes. The dessert section barely has any items and none are exciting. We had to settle for the ubiquitous chocolate brownie- which thank god- was decent.<br/><br/>Ambience: I didnt like the ambience either- it was surprising because I thought it would be a great place. Its too dark- I understand pubs are- but I COULDN'T EVEN READ THE MENU.<br/><br/>Service: The less said the better. You have to ask for each dish at least twice. Also, I asked for water thrice- we entered at 7PM and the glass of water came at 8:15 PM. I understand there's chaos in the crowd but at least write the orders down.<br/><br/>All in all,an unforgettable experience- for all the wrong reasons.<br/><br/>A serious note to management: Please revamp the menu with more and better dishes; and please improve on service.

Situated in a dark corner one can easily miss this place if you are not alert enough. Visited this place on a Monday and as expected the place wasn't crowded. The staff here is friendly and warmly welcomed us. We had a special reservation with a fixed menu. To start with we had chicken ceaser salad which was light and not dressed with too much of mayo. For appetisers we opted for texas grilled chicken and rawa fried fish fingers. The fish had a crisp coating however it was too overwhelming that the flavor of fish couldn't be separted from it. For our main course we chose chicken wrap and Moroccan slow cooked chicken with macaroni. Wrap was filling however the macaroni seemed little sweet. Finally for our dessert we had the best tiramisu (made with beer) and it was melt in the mouth tantalising your taste buds wanting more and more of it. We were also served complimentary sangria red wine to finish the course. Overall a very pleasant experience. I haven't rated them 4/5 coz the waiting time after each course was on a higher side.

Didn't like their brew much. With a dozen breweries coming up every month, you should know that this is the oldest one in Mumbai. The food was good though and the ambience is pretty decent.

Bad experience.<br/>Food is not up to the mark for the price.<br/>Ambience is at best average and dull.<br/>Food and all alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages are highly overpriced.<br/>Avoid the place if you can.

It is a good place to have beers , and have a good time but it is difficult to get the attention of the waiters and i also had a bad experience as where i had gone before and consumed a lot of beers and after that i had come for a special occasion and i was refused of being serving beers which made me look down in my guests eyes. <br/>
