Bake House café at Fort has always been an all-time favourite. With a sassy ambience and cute decor, it makes for a perfect lunch date with your gal (and guy) pals!
We ordered the Ratatouille Pizza, one of it's most popular dishes, and truly, it turned out to be a treat for our taste buds.
Next, we went for the Pink Sauce Spaghetti, which was yummy too. Both the dishes were quite filling. Still, we couldn’t resist ordering the Chocolate Mud Cake.
Bake House Café is a great place to visit if you're a fan of the pizza and pasta fare. I’d definitely give it a 4 on 5! 👍

I've been here many times. And every time I come here, I get exceptional service. The food is excellent! And this is by no means an exaggeration. I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal has been absolutely splendid. I believe that every item on their menu is superb. If I were to describe in detail every dish I've had here, I'm sure I'd get a PhD in food analysis from the University of Zomato. However I'm going to share some of the most memorable items I've had here.
1) MACCHIATO is an all time favourite of mine and these guys make a mean macchiato. They always serve this with a shortbread biscuit. On occasion, they make cinnamon rolls which go wonderfully well with the coffee.
2) MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE is rich and creamy and has all the trappings of a great smoothie. The smoothie servings here are quite big, so you may wanna pace yourself if you intend on having a proper meal with it. But as a mid-day snack, it's perfect. The other smoothies here are awesome as well, but the mixed berry one is my favourite.
3) DYNAMITE PRAWNS is just DYNAMITE. This dish a glorious version of the quintessential prawn cocktail. Even if you vaguely like prawns, you must try this dish. It'll blow your mind.
4) TENDERLOIN STEAK/ STEAK SANDWICH. I'm quite sceptical of having steak in Mumbai because the stupid ban doesn't allow restaurants to have access to quality meat and which usually means that the final product is inedible. However, the Bake House Cafe has got this issue sorted. Their steaks are quite good. Not the best I've had, but definitely way above average. And in Mumbai, that's saying something.
5) CRACKED GARLIC CHEESE BREAD SOMETHING. This is a guilty pleasure that MUST be indulged. All of the above mentioned are guilty pleasures, but this dish takes the cake. Ooey, gooey and moreish.
This review highlights some of my favourite dishes on the menu. Their breakfast and salad options are also quite delectable. However the most amazing part of this cafe is the RIDICULOUSLY REASONABLE PRICES. That's what brings me back to this place again and again and again. Amazing food and great prices. Coupled with a classy, bohemian ambience, this place is perfect. And no, ONE DOES NOT MISS ALCOHOL while dining here.

A great place to hangout with friends and family. A very nice and amazing cafe for students and working professionals as well to sit in the cage and chill or do their work on laptop. Located in the prime location this cafe is attractive to students and freelancers as well. The coffee is expensive though please work on making it a bit pocket friendly for the crowd and it will definitely attract more customers

We had such an excellent experience here. Even though the service time was a bit off, the food, the portion size and taste compensated for it. We were three people with contradictory taste buds and all of us enjoyed the food equally.
The place is very good with comfortable sitting.The italian food is very delicious. Starting with the risotto, the risotto is very awesome served with steaks and cottage cheese.The swiss italian cheese fondue is served with croutons and brocolli,it is made up of cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.The passion fruit juice is superb with a pulp of passion fruit in it.The tacos are very yummy and crispy loaded with fresh olives and vegetables. The blueberry cheese cake is very delicious .

Pretty spacious and comfortable for a cosy cafe and good presentation with the food.
This was my second time around here. Previously I had come here for a breakfast and that had blown my mind too.
This time I had come for lunch with friends and we ordered:

3) Fettuccine with Arabiata Sauce

Krusty chicken burger does justice to it's name as I fell in love with the crustiness from the very first bite. Would definitely have that again.
The pastas were awesome too...apt tanginess in Arabiata and good amount of cheesiness in the pesto!
You must visit this cafe once, it will mesmerize you and leave you fulfilled! :)

A very cozy and a beautifully decorated place is how we would describe this Cafe.
This place has an extensive menu, so we started with a healthy protein salad which was filled with chickpeas, beans, veggies with a very delicious dressing.
The rissoto filled with veggies tossed in white sauce served with buttered rice was a pure delight.
The crispy herbed potatoes was a perfect munching dish, served with a very delicious dip.
Cappuccino being their speciality was truly very nice.
Lastly we ended the meal with a warm spongy mouth watering apple cinnamon muffin.
Perfectly flavored, so soft and spongy just was a real treat.
Portion sizes were very good.
The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Aglio olio pasta- not the authentic I would say but still tasted fine
Stuffed Chargrilled chicken- it was grilled chicken with stuffing of cheese and mushroom, served with mash potatoes. It was good
Pumpkin soup- it was the best, good flavours and real taste.

A quaint cafe in kala ghoda that falls in a great budget for a date night. This place has the best strawberry tarts and beef steak. Both were super delicious. I also enjoyed the Lebanese platter. The variety, taste, and service all were great!

Bbq Chicken Wing:- Amazing delicious chicken wing which are being diped in bbq sauce which had an authentic flavor of it. Which was damm delicious.
Roast Chicken;- Literally mouth watering dish out here. The chicken was roasted very well and was in great quantity. If you love chicken dishes would recommend you to try these out!

Have explored a lot of place in fort but this place has been on my list for a really long time. Bake House Cafe is in the by lanes of Kala Godha. This outlet is really famous amongst all age groups. The place has simple interiors but I guess the place is under renovation. The painting work is on going I guess Coming to what we order Kiwi slush - nice refreshing must try Cheese fondue - The cheese fondue was amazing but the sides we just bread croutons and broccoli they could have give some more sides to like bread sticks, lavash etc! The sides had limited options Labenese platter - We love Lebanese cuisine. This platter had to many things this was a total stomach filler. Naming few items falfel balls, tahini, pickled beetroot salad, almonds, burnt aurgerbin dip... loved the whole thing! Highly recommended!!!! Veg Burger - nice mayo dip with burger Patty with alot of veggies. Must order. Lasagna - This dish was the highlight of my visit. Loved the flavors in this dish. The vegetables in the platter were well sautéed except for two beans pieces which I found to be a bit raw but can be ignored. Overall, It’s a perfect main course for the vegetarians coming at the café. Rating: 4.8/5 Dessert:- Salter Caramel Chocolate Tart: The presentation of the dish itself is appetising and totally Instagram worthy. The tart was topped with roasted marshmallows with an accompaniment of vanilla scoop and whipped cream on the side. The dessert is absolutely luscious, creamy and unique; it’s not everyday you get to see a variety of desserts from chocolate to blueberry on the menu. The texture of the tart was smooth and the combination of vanilla with it is pleasing to the palate. It’s the right kind of balance between sweetness and a piquant taste. Highly recommended. Cottage Cheese Steak with Lemon Paprika: The steak was grilled to perfection, having a golden outer layer and was delicious especially with the sauce that went well even with the herb butter rice. The veggies were sautéed appropriately. Overall, an amazing main-course option.

Salter Caramel Chocolate Tart: The combination of the luscious and sweet tasting chocolate and piquant tasting salted caramel was just the right way to end the dining experience. The vanilla scoop and whipped cream that came along, complimented well with the tart.

Situated right next to the kalaghoda mural, the cafe has the ability to transport you to a different time and place. Pleasant music is an added bonus. We ordered crispy potato skins and Lebanese platter, which were both scrumptious and really filling. The place has a variety of drinks including coffee, juices and shakes catering to everyone. They serve you with such a smile and such warmth, that you want to finish the entire food :P We had the lebanese platter and crispy potato skins! Lebanese platter will win your heart with the variety and taste and presentation! A must try when you here. We had strawberry smoothie and hot chocolate! Poles apart, both of them were amazing! Cottage Cheese Steak with Lemon paprika
The steak was refreshing and roasted to perfection. The sauce was the big win though! It was full of flavour which we could not figure out, except for lemon. It was not spicy, but just tangy enough to complement the butter herb rice. Overall, the meal was very good.
Mac and Cheese
This macaroni and cheese is perfectly rich and creamy and it’s sure to be loved by people of all ages.
DESSERT:
Blueberry Mascarpone Mousse Cake
This one was baked with the right amount of sweetness. First bite felt heavenly. It was extremely creamy and smooth.It had the right amount of moisture imparting it a lush texture and revealed a sweet taste with a pleasant slight tang.

The most reasonable prices, the quick service and the cozy decor separate this place from many of the more posh restaurants around it. It offers a range of excellent dishes for the best prices I've seen in this whole city so far. We had 2 starters (salty fried potato skins and a whole Lebanese platter with everything from hummus to Baba ganoush), 2 main dishes (a generous portion of organic black rice risotto and a stuffed chargrilled chicken with all the trimmings) and dessert (a rich slice of chocolate mud cake big enough for three). For once the sight of the cheque didn't spoil my post meal glow. Well worth a visit or ten.
Bakehouse cafe is located in the vicinity of kalaghoda. It is an amazing cafe with tasty food and drinks , shakes and coffee. There are two floors and quiet spacious. They have good variety in non vegetarian and vegetarian food. Hospitality is also good. We had a great time here.

Bakehouse is one of the finest cafe you can find in the vicinity of Kalaghoda. Here not only the ambiance but the food will impress you for sure. The cafe is designed really well at the beginning there is a bench which is perfect photospot with beautiful wall paintings. There are two floors the upper deck is for large groups enjoying the sofa sitting. The wall is filled with beautiful paintings and the lower deck has normal seating.
The bakery and the organic ingredients are prepared inhouse. They use everything organic and no preservatives are used.
Their food is the best part of this cafe. Though it's a cafe it has everything and variety of dishes like a fine dine restaurant.

To start with we had ordered brownie and vanilla shake and Italian lattee coffee. The shake was thick and texture was great. The Italian lattee coffee was so appealing and taste was super awesome served with a biscuit from their bakery.
Some of their amazing starters were dynamite prawns. Prawns were huge and they were tossed in dynamite sauce . They were prepared really well and marination was absolutely amazing.
Chiptole glazed lollipop- The lollipops were the best they were prepared so well . One of the best things I had. Highly recommended. The lollipops were super soft and chiptole sauce made it perfect.
Mains- Grilled Indian Salmon- The Indian salmon was prepared so well served with smashed potatoes and assorted vegetables. The taste was amazing I don't think there is anything to be said other than Amazing.
Coming to their desserts, they were superb . We had liquid chocolate cake. It was a kind of lava cake which tasted superb with vanilla cream supporting it with amazing presentation. Fresh strawberry tart had the fresh strawberries on it and tart was fresh baked..
Overall service was great I would love to visit this place again.
Bake house cafe (fort) ensure that you experience the best of everything related to the fast food & beverages served around.Each dish is an explosion of flavours, colours and textures.The staff is courteous and the service was quick. The Bakehouse Cafe at Kalaghoda is rather elegant and welcoming in its appeal. They serves comfort food, global European, continental fine dine and cafe food. Talk about everything under one roof!
It serves everything from a delicious breakfast menu to side salad selections, pastas, pizzas, burgers and milkshakes.
The decor which is both classy and stylish in its charm stole our hearts. The sophisticated yet quirky aura sets a very appetizing mood for a meal.
Coming towards the food, we started of with the Bake house basket and Bbq chicken wings. The bake house basket consisted of homemade items like donuts, garlic bread, muffins, croissant served with honey. Quantity was good for 2 people and everything was served fresh. The bbq chicken wings here has an unusual flavor of it’s own – quite different from your average chicken wings. I highly recommend this. The quantity was satisfying.
For the main, we tried their Mac and cheese pizza. The Mac and cheese pizza here is the crowds favorite. I can’t think of anything better than pizza topped with pasta and tons of cheese.

This is One of the classy places of fort area a hidden joint with a wonderful ambiance. The food is really good here as it serves a variety of Italian and continental dishes. The staff is also really friendly. There is also a display of deserts. The prices are also reasonable. I tried a veg sandwich which was ok. I also tried continental chicken dish which was really good as it was served with gravy and smashed potatos with veges. The desert was also too good which was served with ice cream.

A nice little café tucked away in one of the by lanes of Kala Ghoda area. The best thing about this café is their old-world charm. The entrance is lovely and tempts you to enter the café. The menu esp. for breakfast is fairly elaborate. The coffee and muffins are amazing as is their omelettes.

Located in Fort, this cafe gives you some really good vintage feels. The ambience, the lights, the artefacts, the menu card - all of it would give you some cool vintage vibes! Went to this place yesterday evening to grab a cup of coffee and some food with two of my friends.
We ordered:
1. Cafe Latte: One amazing latte! A perfect coffee for a perfect evening! Coffee lovers are gonna love this place!
2. Hot Chocolate: One of the best hot chocolates I've ever had! Thick and yummy hot chocolate topped with chocolate sauce. Can the evening be any better?
3. Mac and Cheese: Don't miss on their mac and cheese! So so creamy and delicious and served with garlic bread! Loved it!
4. Veggies Homemade Tacos: A little soft tacos sprinkled with some spicy masala and stuffing of olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and broccoli and topped with mayo and cheddar cheese sauce. This made me love tacos! A must try!
5. Organic Red Rice Risotto with Mushroom and asparagus: This Risotto was unique but quite disappointing! You can skip out on this dish!
6. Grilled Vegetable Pesto Sandwich: Sandwich with the stuffing of mushrooms, onion, bell peppers, zucchini and broccoli and mixed with pesto sauce and served with ketchup and potato wedges and curd mixed Mexican salad. So so delicious!
7. Eggless Blueberry Mascarpone Mousse Cake: Yum yum yum!

The place has excellent ambience. The seating is very comfortable. I ordered a white sauce pasta, the taste was good. But I was unhappy about the portion size. It can be improved. Overall a nice experience.

Lebanese platter:
Assorted baba ganoush labneh dip, hummus, olives and beetroot, pickled bell peppers and falafels. A paradise for all the Lebanese lovers. With their freshly baked pita bread and lavash, this platter has my heart! And I’d recommend this one!
Cheesy Garlic Crack bread:
Garlic loaf with emmental & scamorza cheese, you’ll actually relish every bite you’ll have!

Dynamite prawns:
I’m a vegetarian but my friend called for these dynamite prawns, which he mentioned was a dynamite in taste as well! Deep fried prawns coated with crispy coating and thousand island sauce was a haven! He’s definitely visiting this place for more of them! Also, it’s pretty heavy as it comes with 5 pieces.
Oreo vanilla shake:
Classic vanilla shake with crushed oreo is the ultimate recipe for chocolaty goodness.
Hot chocolate:
A cup of perfect hot chocolate with a home made biscuit. Love of my life!
Overall, my experience with Bake House Cafe was really amazing, with quaint ambience and delicious food, I’m in love with this place totally! Must visit them!

Recently tried the Bake House Cafe, located in the famous Kala Ghoda lanes, and was quite impressed by this place! Starting off with their pretty and vintage interiors, this place has a certain vibe to it which you’d love if you love good ambience. With light acoustic music and fresh coffee aroma all over, I specifically loved it more! Mentioning how amazing the food was, here’s what I tried and loved.
Lebanese platter: A perfectly palatable Lebanese goodness, this platter has baba ganoush, hummus, flavoured rice, some greens, fajita veggies, beetroot, olives, falafels and freshly baked pita bread & lavash. Just the right amount of how much you need, every bite of this platter is superb and I’m in love with it!
Cheesy garlic crack bread: Classic cheesy garlic bread with 2 different cheese stuffed inside their home baked bread, this is my favourite from now on!
My friend tried Dynamite prawns here, which he said were super amazing and he’d actually come down to this place to have specially this dish!
Hot Chocolate: Needs no introduction, was perfect and served with a tasty baked biscuit!
Oreo & Vanilla shake: Thick chocolaty shake with ample of crushed oreos made it even better than it should be!
Overall, my experience with this place was so amazing, that I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy a breakfast or a perfect meal, with prettiest of interiors and food served to perfection!

Probably one of the best cafe in the vicinity of the Kalaghoda I must say. They are using all the organic and homemade things to prepare the food and that's there USP what I feel. No artificial ingredients are use in there food items as they claim.

Ambiance - At the entrance only you will see a cute bench with pretty hording of there name. The moment you enter you feel the Vintage and Luxurious vibes from this place. They are different types of sitting arrangements up and down. Upper floor is basically for the groups with the classic ambiance and ground floor is for the tables for 2 and more than that. Full marks for the ambiance.

Drinks - Being cafe you will gets smoothies, Shakes, coffee, tea and Slushes and fresh Juices. So many varities to choose from. I tried -
1. Berry Blend Smoothie - The smoothie is perfect in the texture and taste. You will feel the tastes of berries in it. It's refreshing and I love it.

2. Almond, Sesame seed, yoghurt and honey shake - This is the unique combination i found in there menu so thought to try it. It's tastes very different due to Sesame seed.I love this combination.

Food - They are wide spread of the veg and non - veg dishes and you will actually get confused what to order. Following are my recommendation -

1. Lebanese Platter - This is star dish of my meal. The best Lebanese Platter I had till date. The spread is so good and tasty what I can say. Simply Amazing.! Highly Recommended.

2. Dynamite Prawans - If you are Prawans lover this is for you. The Prawans are so huge and they are toassed in a in house thousand Island dressing which is bomb. Prawans are perfectly cooked and we'll marinated. Love it.

3. Cottage cheese steak with lemon paprika sauce. - Huge pieces of cottage cheese grilled and served with butter and herb infused rice and with saute vegetables. The lemon paprika cheese sauce is the best sauce and it goes really well with other ingredients. Recommending this for sure.

4. Sicilian Risotto - Bell Peppers and Zucchini toassed in in-house peparika sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese. The taste and texture of this risotto is perfect. Love it.

1. Gooey Chocolate brownie - This is the Heaven. Freshly baked Warm brownie cake served with in house vanilla ice cream and fresh cream. This is ultimate. I can guarantee you will love this one.

Very good place in town to just go and chill with ur friends. The ambience here is very good.I tried here berry blast shake and chocolate shake. You should try chocolate shake as the chocolate in it tastes fresh.Cheese garlic crack bread is the best garlic bread I have ever had.I also tried lasagna which was also good and had a lot of mushrooms in it. The cheese cake brownie was very good.
I had recently been here with my colleagues and all of us were vegetarian so we picked all dishes accordingly. We had a very good time at this place.

I have been a regular at the Kala Ghoda Festival since a few years now and every year when I decide to visit Bake House Cafe after my time at the fest, I find the place jam-packed. This week, after winding off some personal work in the area, I decided to visit Bake House Cafe with two of my friends from work. From the ambie ce to the food, we loved it all.
📌Here is a list of all the food we tried at Bake House Cafe. We have arranged the dishes as per our tastemetre : BEST ONES FIRST.
1. veggie delight (345 Rs): The menu description said it was "Cottage Cheese and mixed veggies tossed in mixed sauce served with Butter Parsley rice" and oh mine! This dish literally blew all 3 of us off! The veggie delight gravy was chunky and super flavourful and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND people to try this outstanding dish. I am going to order this dish home soon!
2. Berry blend smoothie (195 Rs) : Mixed berries always taste good but this smoothie tastes better! Thick and creamy with a little sour punch , this smoothie is by far one of the best I have had in the surrounding areas!
3. Creamy Spinach and Roasted Mushroom Pizza with Caramelized onions (385): If you are a wafer thin pizza fan, this is the dish for you. The pizza base is lined with a creamy Spinach mash and is topped with lot of cheese and mushrooms which are then roasted to perfection.
4. Quinoa Pear Salad (325 Rs): Pear and papaya tossed in quinoa and some healthy seeds with passion fruit dressing. The salad lacked any catchy flavour so I and my friends added pepper to it and then it was good to go! :)
5. Apple Pie (195 RS) : Only recommend for those who really like apple pies. It is like the usual cinnamon-y apple pie which not everybody can appreciate. It is quite reasonably priced for the serving portion. Definitely makes for a good looking dessert and comes along with a dollop of fresh cream and a scoop of rich vanilla icecream.
6. Cookie shake (195 Rs) : This shake is the only dish which I would not recommend. It tasted like prices if cookies had just been mixed with some cookies. It lacked any particular taste and it tasted just average.
Overall, great interiors, good vibes, Value for money and the aroma of freshly baked cakes!
📌Ambience : 4/5 (slightly noisy - the slush machine makes a lotta noise!)
📌Service : 5/5 very prompt and very quick.
