Review Cafe Trofima - Mumbai

Great ambiance. We tried Korean cottage cheese sizzler which was the best. Also tried tex mex loaded fries and cheese toastie platter which was good in taste. On the occasion of my birthday I tried pull me up cake in desert which was awesome.

The hot chocolate was the best here. The corn cheese nuggets were decent. Tex-mex fries was better.

Service was best.. food served was also very nice and with beautiful ambience

The food was delicious! We had Greco pizza and peri peri chicken pizza also creamy Alfredo pasta with mushroom sauce. Everything was top notch. We celebrated our friend's birthday there. So got a chocolate cake from there itself which was so good and fresh! Very good ambience and great service. Also it's very near from matunga road station so that's a plus.

Very beautiful place, loved the ambience! We had the Greco pizza with an Irish cold coffee and a Hazelnut cold coffee. Loved the complete order, it was delicious 😋 Music playing in the background and the window table set a good vibe to have a great conversation with my friend 😁

Nice place to visit, we went there in the evening and ordered peri peri fries, peach ice tea and tiramusu brownie mocha shake. Peach Ice tea was tasty and its quantity was also much more than u get anywhere. Peri peri fries were tasty, bit at spicy end , quantity was also good...giving justice to price. Tiramusu brownie mocha shake....wow...superlicious....though it was so heavy...but tasty too.... Even saw people enjoying the sizzlers ...seemed so tasty but after this thick shake we cant order anything else.... Ambience was also good...prefer sitting near glass and enjoy outside views. Overall a good place to be ....

This is suppose to be one of the best cafe’s in Dadar and decided to test the hype. I just ordered their classic Hot Chocolate. Full marks for the presentation. Looks so cool. Taste wise as well it had a perfect blend of chocolate and milk and it was perfectly sweet. Just felt that the quantity was a let down, otherwise everything else was A plus. Would love to visit again and try other items at this gem.

I had the best experience in the cafe. The food is quite delicious, ambience is lovely, i mean it seems there is nothing wrong. Any age group people can go to this place and have the comfort. Loved everything about this place. I had a tacos, Chipotle chicken sizzler and mind me, this sizzler is best in the business and passion fruit mojito. And to sum up all this, had a hazelnut pull me up for a desert. All this made my day❤️

The location is perfect. It is just around the corner and too close to shivaji park (2 mins walking to be precise). I have been here quite a number of times now. Earlier the food was quite okayish but has improved leaps and bounds since a couple of years. Recently, during our two visits, we tasted peri peri fries, paneer pizza, iced tea, cinnamon coffee, chicken pizza, and nachos. Everything was perfect in terms of taste and was appetizing. In terms of service, it is good but not great. They don't let you use your laptop in the restaurant and will make sure to switch it off by reminding you every now and then which I found annoying since they had not mentioned it anywhere. The place has a washroom facility that is 'women approved'. The ambience is impressive with glass partition walls giving access to the sunlight during the day. In the evening the perfect lightings do every bit justice to the contemporary interiors.

Yesterday I visited this cafe named “Cafe Trofima” which located in Dadar few steps away from Shivaji Park. The cafe has nice healthy view of local day-to-day life and is surrounded by green plants. The ambience is quiet cozy and peaceful. They serve both snacks and main courses along with desserts. They have a fine menu with many options. Talking about the food we ordered the following dishes.. BlueBerry cheesecake 10/10 Overall Rating - 4.8 / 5 So starting with drinks Mojito was amazing and had bold passion fruit flavour then about Oreo shake, it was good and thick. After that we enjoyed the best starters. Corn cheese nuggets were hot crunchy and cheesy at the same time. BBQ wings were finger licking good!!. Then we had freshly baked Bao and chicken from mediterranean region which was really great. Then we had a massive sizzler which included all the veggies with potato wedges and creamy risotto served with thick creamy gravy. At the end the main delicacy was Blue berry cheesecake. The staff is very cooperative and humble. The place is perfect for small family outings and events. The price of some dishes is little overbudget but the experience makes it worth it. Would I like to visit this place again ? hell yeahh… thats my answer. So guys please do visit this great place

The Quality of food is too good. Prices are high. It will take you 2 for nearly 1000rs. But you will the food. It will be crowdy and Atmosphere is family types. So if u r going for date.. this place will not worth it. Best fro Friends and Families.

I visited this place after a long time. They have changed and updated the menu, which has become a bit more expensive. But also the range of food options have increased. The vibe is very nice, especially around evening. It is a kid's friendly space with good taste of music playing in the background. The staff is very attentive and polite. The best stuff is the Hot chocolate and Coffee that they serve, which is my utmost favourite thing here. The Pasta was delicious and mouth smacking. A highly recommended place to go with your friends, kids, siblings or family.

The place is situated at a very good location, easy to find your way around. This place offers really good range of cuisines which was surprising for a "cafe". The ambience is very chill and the seating is also really spacious with soft music in the background. The food was above average. Would definitely try to visit again to try out their new menu. The service was quick, didn't have to wait for long for our order. Overall a good place to hang out with your friends or family as the place is familiar to all age groups.

Its so good to finally have such modern place to hangout with friends and family around Shivaji Park. This place gives very vibrant yet cosy environment. Decor, service, food everything was fantastc. Since I was with my vegetarian friend, we tried only veg menu this time. But everything we ordered was so yummy that I didnt even miss nonveg. Mashroom Bao, Paneer Sizzler, Veg Pizza, Christmas Shake, Cupcake, Eclair... oh we couldn't stop. And besides delicious food, the quantity was just perfect and filling, unlike the other cafes. Going to visit again and again. So you guys better add more menu.

A quite place on a busy street. A good choice of Menu but limited Vegetarian items. I started with the Soup of the day -Thai Roasted Basil 🌿. It was good had robust flavours. Then we order the Kasundi Chicken 🍗 Bao. The Bao well made & Moist . The kasundi flavouring was tasting good. I would have loved if the chicken was stuffed inside the bun like the Traditional Chinese way. Then we order A Sour Apple Sparkling drink which was a let down as there was no flavour in it was very watery. On highlighting the same to the manager he took it back & I thought he was get a fresh one but to my surprise which was a complete let down he corrected the same drink & got it back. For mains we had Chicken Jalapeños Rissoto & the hot dogs 🌭 The rissoto was good & had the hint of jalapeño. The hot dog 🌭 was very average as the bun as toasted it had become very hard & the sausage had become dry. This dish definitely needs some Improvement For dessert we tried the waffle very good but needs some more accompaniments

Love the location... interior.. cutlery .. cleanliness..great presentation with food... but totally disappointed with the food.. ordered a chicken burger.. it was like a chicken patty deep fried and presented well... not at all yummy... a must try burger is at the #stacksandracks... those r heavenly in comparison..sorry good location..good ambiance. . Good options for breakfast , we had egg benedict which was excellent and the Varma listed onion with goat cheese was also a delight.must eat place for those who live in the vicinity.

We are regular at Trofima..to celebrate Diwali Padwa.. We visited trofima at 10 pm on 20th Oct 17 to enjoy continental food...we had Rosted Lamb with herb rice mashed potato top up with Black paper sauce...Fish /Chips with spicy Meyonise...chilly garlic potato wedges..BBQ Chkn Pizza.....Taste was awsome.. Staff of Trofima was extremely courtious and helpful...We enjoyed ..☺☺☺☺👍👍👍👍👍 Friends pl visit to enjoy yummy taste.....

Honestly food dint taste good at all.ordered fr humus pita was too dry.and lamb sizler with no spice at all..raw meat not cooked properly.

Horribe greek salad ever...firstly greek doesnt have lettuce and cream cheese- few drops. No feta in it. And hotel staff were saying that’s all they can give. Bloody 300 for a pathetic lettuce tomoto onion s ... complete waste of money... they really needto check out a recipe of greek salad

Trofima is a very pretty cafe based in Dadar West. Their interior are aesthetic and their food too. A cute cafe in the middle of a busy city is just the right place to go and spend some time. We ordered the Nachos with the mojito. The Nachos were so tasty and the toppings were delicious! The mojito was the perfect drink because it was refreshing and chilled. The Garlic bread very tasty and the cutlets were perfect.

This is my go to place for sizzlers. I’m in love with their sizzlers. You’ll get best sizzlers here. Stuffed chicken sizzler is highly recommended. I tried non vegetarian breakfast too. It was not that great and bit pricey. Breakfast portion was small. Overall i love this cafe. They have good menu for both veg and non vegetarian foodies.

Been here multiple times. Cosy place very close to Shivaji Park. Trofima is located in a prime location with good approach road. Food portion is also good. Staff is trained and calm. Has a big window running across the restaurant to give you a good glimpse of outside.

The worst place I've ever been to. I would prefer giving lesser ratings if that was even possible.<br/>The food was completely tasteless. The pizza crust was very hard. It also had a tiny stone piece. When asked for the manager, he had the audacity to tell me its just pepper. Forget any offer to replace or something they did not even bother to apologise. To top it off I was told this was a very regular thing here, happened twice or thrice every month. The service was bad too. I would never ever go back there or recommend it to anyone else.

Cafe trofima has been one of our favorite cafes and my go to dish ALWAYS has been Crispy Paneer. It's amazingly spicy and crispy. It's an absolute must try. ❤️

Hummus was superb. Fresh creamy and flavourful. The pita was simply pizza bread cut in wedges. Tacos were good. But am odd number of serving of 5. we ordered 3 different cold coffees - vanilla vintage and hazelnut and all tasted similar. Presented also similar. hoped something different. Service is a bit slow. <br/>Staff is polite and friendly.

Just been to this great place. It has a wide variety of menu and food is really great. Tried sizzler, panner tikka wrap, pizza and Singapore fried rice. Every dish was great. Highly recommended in dadar area near shivaji park. Also staff is courteous and service is quick. Easily traceable. Ambiance is good. The chocolate shake was also amazing.

For the longest time, I avoided going to Trofima since I had received mixed reviews about it. One evening, my friend and I wanted to meet<br/>• at a quiet place<br/>• not a coffee shop<br/>• in Dadar-Shivaji Park area.<br/><br/>I first thought of Terttulia but since we have been there umpteen times, my friend suggested Trofima. I was apprehensive at the beginning but quite satisfied at the end of it. :)<br/><br/>Trofima is right at the main road at the Raja Rani junction. It is barely a 2 minutes walk from Shivaji Park and about 15 minutes from Dadar station.<br/><br/>You will develop an instant liking for the place from the looks of it. Potted plants kept outside, decorative lamp posts holding cafe tromifa boards, warm yellow lights inside with extremely comfortable chairs and couches.<br/><br/>They have words like sizzlers, sandwiches, muffins engraved on the pillars which I quite liked. One section has cups hanging from the wall making it the most photo friendly corner. Other side is tucked in a corner with a view of the street and is best suited for long, uninterrupted conversations. Recommended for a date. :)<br/><br/>Quite an extensive menu. It took us some time to decide what we wanted to eat.<br/><br/>Between the two of us we called for the following:<br/>(in the order of what we loved the most to least)<br/><br/>1) Hazelnut cold coffee<br/>The most ahhh-some cold coffee I have had in recent times. Hazelnut was just right, coffee had good consistency (not watery). Serves 1. You would not want to share it. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>2) Mushroom bao<br/>I believe this is one of their signature preparations and rightly so. Button mushrooms cooked in cheese sauce, a little salad, all of it stuffed in cotton candy soft baos. 3 baos are served. Sufficient for 1. Again, highly recommended.<br/><br/>3) Classic chicken burger<br/>Chose this because it had a grilled patty. Looks appetising but is not so upon tasting. I found it to be dry. The ambience and the interiors were really nice with comfortable seating arrangements. Ordered two dishes thinking that it would be filling, but were a bit disappointed. The dishes were<br/>1) Pan seared basa with capered butter sauce - This dish consisted of a fillet of basa fish, potato mash and asian vegetables. We replaced the capered butter sauce with mushroom and thyme sauce. The sauce was okay, but the potato mash was just made of boiled potatoes, and seasoning. No sour cream and cheese were added to make it moist. Overall the dish was good.<br/>2) Desi Curry Prawns Sizzler - This sizzler consisted of 6 pieces of prawns marinated in Goan spices accompanied with sauteed vegetables, potato wedges, garlic bread, fried onion rice and Goan desi curry sauce. When we tasted the sauce, it was too sweet. Asked to make the sauce spicier and they only added green chillies. Asked them to replace the sauce with another sauce and we were served Peri Peri Sauce which was nothing but tomato puree with beans in it. Over all the dish was not upto the mark.<br/><br/>Want to try other things, you are most welcome to do so as the ambience is nice and the staff is really courteous as well.

This place is good. Service is also good and waiters are very humble and kind. Food is really tasty. Pasta was damn good and the dessert was just amazing and very tasty. Worth going and value for money.

Wow.. Subodh G., the server, made every effort to make my birthday a special day.. We were a group of 10, with my elderly grandparents in the group.. Besides helping them to their seats.. Subodh suggested tasty dishes from the menu that were less spicy.. Also he stopped us from ordering a dish.. Saying that we may be stuffed with the current order and they prepare the dish in 10 minutes if needed.. The service is quick and all the people.. We ate black garlic chicken, BBQ chicken pizza, Sunrise mock tails (Subodh was honest to clarify that they also use canned juice, not entirely fresh), chicken jalapeños risotto.. Hearty food.. Excellent service.. NO service charge.. Please tip generously.. The staff here deserves an applause.. Delicious food is granted.. Trust me you will be very experience..

The food and staff was super below average the server also gave me chicken saying it’s vegetarian. When it came to the bill one note had a small tear and they refused to take it. Really bad hospitality and management overall. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Cool ambiance, fancy crowd and great food summarizes this place.

One of the swiftest meals I have had. We had been to Dadar to catch a play and this place was within a km from there with decent ratings. As we hurriedly entered, we immediately found a table even though the place was packed and asked the waiter if food could be served in half hour and he agreed. We quickly ordered a chicken dish (Chinese), egg and chicken noodles and a fried rice. Food was served in 20 mins and it was pretty decent. The gravy was slightly too spicy though. The noodles had copius amount of egg and chicken. We saw people typically ordering a pizza or sizzler at this place, which might be what the place is famous for, but we were in a hurry so had to go with what would have been served most quickly for 3 folks. Anyway, it was a good experience and I would like to pay a visit with sometime in hand , the next time.

Visited Trofima for Lunch a few days ago. Ordered for the Black Pepper and Chili Chicken and the Roast Leg of Lamb. Both the dishes were pretty good. My rating is for the poor quality of customer service provided and the lack of professional courtesy. <br/>While we were having our meal, an elderly gentleman walked in and picked up 2 water bottles. He seemed to be in a hurry, so he proceeded to the cash counter. My table was exactly next to it. There were around 5 staff members chit chatting at the cash counter and were very slow and casual with their work. The elderly person waited and eventually snapped at them, due to the delay. <br/>What happened next was a shocker. Someone from the cash counter snapped back at that uncle and loudly said " Bill nikalne ke liye time lagta hai. Yeh baniye ka dukaan nahi hai". <br/>I mean, this is absolute nonsense. You cant treat your customers like that, especially not Senior Citizens. And the staff said that like he just didnt care that there were other customers listening. Either your staff needs to be taught at least basic customer service, or its just wrong hiring on your behalf.

Cafe Trofima stands on the corner of one of the roads going towards Shivaji Park and has an excellent ambience. It makes for a nice, vibrant place to hang out with friends or even make first dates less awkward. Instagrammers - it is picturesque too. :)<br/><br/>The crowd is good, the staff is so courteous and cooperative (and I was surprised to see that I wasn't charged any service charge).<br/><br/>On food, we had:<br/><br/>1. Chicken tikka pizza - 9.5/10 (Thin crust, crispy, freshly baked and perfectly cooked)<br/><br/>2. Alfredo Pasta Sizzler - 8/10 (Exotic vegetables were so tasty, however it was missing a few spices and the quantity was less than I expected from a sizzler)<br/><br/>3. Shredded Chicken Sizzler - 10/10 (One of the best sizzlers, good steamed vegetables, amazing quantity, noodled, chicken everything was perfect in here)<br/><br/>4. You may have some continental food here. Menu is explanatory and that's nice. Ambience is pleasent but little on a colder end. Seating arrangements vary based on the table selection. Food portion is descent and that justifies the price paid for a particular dish. Recommended.

I always wanted to come and dine here. They have a really good and vast menu. Very fancy interiors and courteous staff gave good recommendations. Will surely visit again! I also was able to use Zomato Gold here which was helpful.

One of the finest cafes in Dadar. This place is spacious and well decorated. They have a large menu of food and don't serve liquor. We reached there around 7 pm and the place was quite empty. By the time we leave the place was crowded and were waiting out as well.<br/>During our visit we ordered -<br/>Veg lasagna, Paneer pizza, Nachos and Hazelnut something. All the dishes ordered were tasty and perfectly cooked. Would love to visit again and again.

I regret the fact thatI'm living near Shivaji Park for more than a year now and I visited this place only recently. I loved this place more so.. The Nasi Goreng most favourite item of thier menu.<br/>It's just so filling.. value for money and tastes amazing.<br/>Must recommend for people who like Runny Egg yolk and coconut flavour.

The place has a good ambience but food was okayish. Pizza and pasta were good but they seem to have changed the definition of sizzler. Garlic bread was also upsetting. Service was good and also the taste. Request them to update their sizzler and garlic bread definition.

Well designed place, nice and simple ambience. I had a Korean Cottage Cheese Sizzler and it was absolutely amazing. The only issue is that it's so heavy, that 2 people can eat it. The stuffing they put inside the crispy paneer block with some cheese (I think mozzarella and spinach) was amazing. A must try whether you're a vegetarian or non vegetarian. Sadly I didn't have any more space to eat a dessert. Maybe next time!

A good place to hang out after college and work. The informal setting makes it ideal for youngsters. Food is good overall but personally loved the burgers and pasta!

It gives a good vibe!<br/><br/>Coming to what all we had at Trofima:<br/>1. Mexican Nachos : Nachos were topped with beans and cheese. Pretty average/normal in taste.<br/><br/>2. Mac N Cheese Pasta : Now, the pasta just didnt have salt in it. This made it very bland in taste.<br/><br/>3.Fish N chips : My friend tried it, I didnt. He found it normal. They served it with french fries and mayonaisse.<br/><br/>In beverages we tried Cold Coffee (which was too sweet) and Blue Mojito.<br/>Tried the hot Chocolate which was awesome!<br/><br/>I enjoyed my hot Chocolate!🤩<br/><br/>The best part is that the place has Zomato Gold! Great combination of ambience and food. Ordered Cheddar Cheese Omelette Pav which i would recommend you to try. The cheese was very well integrated with the Omelette and was quiet delicious. Staff is very friendly and place also offers zomato gold. Overall a soothing experience.

Stopped by this place twice... Left disheartened both times. Ambiance is beautiful and worked on really well is all that I can say. Music is kinda loud. Staff could be more gracious and attentive to their customers rather than lost in their own world.<br/><br/>Kiddos for the presentation of food but I would suggest they could rather work on its taste. All in all the sizzlers and shakes truly warms your soul; but the appetizers are strictly a No-No.

I loved their Korean Sizzlers , really different from the cliché Paneer Manchurian sizzler . Lots of veggies and good taste of the sauce . Quantity is just enough for 3 people. Had this amazing ferrero rocher freak shake at Cafe Trofima. It was too chocolatey. One of the best freak shake ever had. Beautiful presentation.
