CHINA INC AT Taj Santa Cruz - Dragonboat festival. Mind blowing Started on 22nd June till 2nd July . SICHUAN AND CANTONESE at its best Chef has curated a balanced menu veg and non veg which has flavours , balance , umami taste , texture sheen . Overall satisfaction. Though Sichuan is spicy they have balanced it so well one does not get the spice hit Almost tried small portions of half of the MENU hence going in detail would be difficult but highlighting some star dishes Dimsum - Truffle flavoured Carrot was amazing , thin layer minced carrot melt in mouth . Also try the Zhonghi (veg and non veg ) lotus leaf sticky rice served hot and XO perfumed fish Shumai. Fragrance all over thin layer stuffed with fish Spiced cucumber salad or Sichuan giang huang hua is simple salad loaded with flavours ( a bit spicy ) lovely presentation STAR DISH : Huaiyang style marble tea eggs . Look at the texture ( pic uploaded ) braised eggs infused with herbs and Chinese tea Crispy Okra is an amazing dish if one is an okra fan. Simple tossed with aromatic chilli mix Mains : Steamed salmon with pungent bean sauce . Light soft . Polished in a minute Shredded chicken fresh chilli with Xhaoxing sauce , simple yet flavours did the trick Mopu tofu was done well as were the hakka noodles ( this is so Cantonese ) One should try the truffle braised noodles ( you can choose from veg / chicken ) pair it with Sichuan style mala fried rice Must end with their 2 amazing desserts Coconut sago pudding - Cantonese delicacy and last but not the least Jian dui ( outstanding ) the chocolate tea cup was heaven - placed over it was a perfect fried Cantonese pastry made out of rice flour coated with sesame sead Not to forget the negroni and the gin based cocktail AMBIANCE of this place has a dragon shape feel with a lovely hand blown (3800 approx ) blown glasses Two PDR for private dining and a lovely and exclusive Bar area to unwind Over all = kudos to team and the entire team of Taj And China Inc Till we meet again , cheers

This is my family’s go to restaurant for dinner. The food is fresh and authentic. It’s brilliant with respect to all aspects. Must haves (veg): 1. Lotus stem root 2. Sichuan fried rice 3. Mapu tofu 4. Chilly noodles 5. Honey noodles with icecream. The ambience is relaxed and peaceful. Excellent staff.

Ambience and Food merit a Four But Rahul our server was so knowledgeable and courteous that he turned the four to a five! He practically knew all the ingredients that went into each dish and turned the dining experience into a culinary adventure Pineapple goes into the sweet and sour prawns... and the bean curd was tofu! The dessert was devoid of sugar and sugar free additives as well, the taste totally from chocolate apricot and a hint of rosemary! The ceiling turned out to be a dragon ... and though they must have been tired at the end of the day the staff were pleasant, caring, helpful throughout

Food was excellent and service was amazing, a Must try restaurant, inside tje Taj Santacruz hotel on the ground floor. We ordered 1 of the chef’s special and didn’t disappoint it was like a 10 course meal a great value for the price. Definitely recommend.

Visited the place today . Mocktails & Appetizers were amazing ! The vegetable dumplings were unique . Mr Yogesh , the manager , offered me personalised services . The other servers were equally helping . Absolutely friendly natured ! Main Course was average - I tasted some French Beans and Chicken. And the desert , Wasabi Cheese Case , was fantastic ! Will definitely visit again .

Very very good food. Would not expect anything less from the Taj. The team were very very good also. The ambience is good even though it is a closed space. It is definitely more than a tad expensive especially considering this pretty much an airport hotel for Taj. The sliced fish was very well made and the clear wanton soup was distinctly different.

Limited menu but food is authentic. Chefs and waiters will help you decide your food. All in all a great experience.

My husband and me were invited for dinner at china inc and this was a great recommendation by chef johny since there is a lot of magic in chef Sudarshan’s delicacies. The interiors and lighting is perfect, while we were seated in the centre right below the well lite colourful chandelier. Chef sudarshan introduced himself to us and brought in the most tastiest and mouth watering specialities. We were served well by Jojo who has been catering to all my requests. We both are humbled to see how graceful chef Sudarshan is despite having flavour in his hands. Lastly the best I would say is the dessert platter. Thank you chef Sudarshan, chef johny and Jojo.

Superb, superb, superb! Choices, preparation and service! Do try their crispy lotus stem in honey garlic sauce. Dimsums are melt-in-the-mouth!

Been a place we have been frequented on many occasions. The food was amazing as usual, especially the konjee crispy lamb which is one of our favourites and now a new favourite being the veg spring roll. As mentioned the food was amazing and the service even better. Thank you Chef Kishore for the amazing food and Mr. Suraj for the hospitality and the attentive service.

We ordered room service and the serving size was too good. Udon noodles, Kung pao potatoes, crispy corn, Burt garlic rice, Vegetables in black bean sauce (not great).<br/>Spice and Flavours were too good and delicious, I am sure restaurent dining experience would have been at another level.<br/><br/>Tiramisu was too good and so was brownie with hot chocolate and ice cream. <br/><br/>

This is a Chinese restaurant in taj Santacruz. The staff mr Umesh here was very friendly & attentive .The food was good & made as per our requirement .<br/>Will definitely visit again soon.

Actually the restaurant does not even deserve a 1 star...but there is no choice but to give at least a star. Now for the food and the STEWARDS WHO WERE ATTENDING TO US..<br/>A) We opted for Zomato Gold 1+1 oon food. And we also had Zomato GOLD which was not added to our bill for our PREVIOUS VISIT to RIVEA, TAJ( their Italian restaurant). So we were entitled to use that as promised by their steward, KAUSHIK( very unprofessional) But first the food..<br/>We ordered...<br/>1. Sliced fish wild pepper (starter) - this was horrible. it was bland, without any salt and tasteless. 0/5<br/>2. Burnt Garlic fried rice - just about ok..maybe the only saving grace. 2/5<br/>3. Sichuan poached chicken  ( main course)- again the gravy was very ordinary, 2/5<br/>4. There was a complimentary chicken starter which WE DID NOT ORDER, BUT WAS GIVEN ( without our consent, because we did not order it!!! ) and was supposed to be adjusted for our PREVIOUS ZOMATO GOLD 1+1, but was not adjusted at the italian restaurant Rivea the last time when we had visited. The degree of UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT  cannot be gauged and all this by their CAPTAIN ROHAN, at China Inc. This was the last straw..the food was horrible and then this cheating...when the amount could have been adjusted in the bill instead of giving us a complimentary dish ( probably left over ) which we did not want.<br/>So I would urge all who visit and are using ZOMATO GOLD 1+1, be very alert and careful because the staff and the stewards are all THUGS.<br/>Only the french wine was good because it was imported.

A meal that never disappoints, food that is prepared well and tastes yummy. We ordered <br/>mustard chicken (not on the menu but they would make it if you request them),<br/>clay pot rice and the peruvian asparagus with lotus stem assorted mushroom snow peas which was amazing and a must have.

Serves lip smacking authentic cuisine, great ambience, the ceiling chandelier feels heavenly. Polite staff which gives good suggestions about what to order. Highly sophisticated crowd. The stir fried vegetables in mustard sauce was amazing. The Dim-Sums are also worth a try. The crystal vegetable dim-sims are very scrumpticious with the roasted chilli sauce. The vegetarian soup having the bamboo shoot in it was toothsome, also the (crispy corn kernels,water chestnut, chilli wild pepper) was yummy. The stir fried vegetables in double pepper sauce is a must try with some sichuan hakka noodles,(a must try if you love spicy food). My lovely food journey ended with a sweet and nutty honey nut crunch ice-cream with honey noodles. Highly recommended!

A real 5-star food and service which has somewhat dropped from the previous norm in quite a few places, but not here. <br/><br/>Peking Duck ordered was tasty as ever along with the other appetiser ordered - Prawn Dimsums - and Chicken Soup.<br/><br/>Mains were spot on, were a culinary delight and did not lack personality or taste. Just what is expected from Taj INC. <br/><br/>Surely a place to visit often with family to have Sunday brunch

I have visited this place quite often now and it's my to go place for any family celebration. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Do consider their suggestions with the menu. It's needless to say that the ambience is very good too. They have a good variety of options for every taste bud. And the biggest positive point is the portion, one portion is very much sufficient for two people with a good appetite. I love this place thoroughly and I'm sure to keep coming here for more future celebrations. Keep up the good work people.

I was here with family for my birthday dinner. I had a reservation for 9 PM but we were nicely welcomed when we arrived at around 8:30. <br/>We had the Mushroom Bao of which is had heard excellent reviews. However for us this didn’t work out that well. It was like we were eating just dough. I wish the baos were filed with more mushrooms. The presentation was spot on, with the mushroom shaped baos.<br/>We had the Hakka Noodles and Garlic fried rice for the mains which were great. For gravy we called for the tofu in hot n garlic sauce. They tofu was pathetic and smelly. It was so bad we have to actually have a word with the chef. The happily replaced it with veggies in a hot n garlic sauce which tasted good.<br/>The desserts on the menu aren’t that impressive. Since they knew it was my birthday they gladly got me a chocolate cake which was too good. Taj probably can never go wrong with their cakes. <br/>I expected a lot more from this place. But the baos and the tofu didn’t work well for me. Hopefully I shall have a better experience if I visit them next time.

Very nice place with very nice Ambiance also with very nice food. Felt good to visit here also the polite staff and above all very calm place with very Good Atmosphere with sophisticed crowd and very nice and best service provided.

Excellent place to be with family. We were around 14 of us so they have a private dining for big groups and it was wonderful. The whole area was for us and ambience,table set up everything was so perfect and luxurious as well. <br/>Food is wonderful and delicious. Their portions are large and filling as well.<br/>We had ordered<br/>Pan fried noodles which was best among the three dishes that we ordered and a must try dish.<br/>Veg Stone wok rice was ok. Not very great <br/>Veg fried rice, crunchy burnt garlic with veg in black pepper sauce. Both were delicious and the crunchiness of garlic was perfect.<br/>Overall we had super fun.

So we went to this place for a family get together — i was very happy as they gave us a full private sitting area with a large round table. It means our chattering would be confined to ourselves. <br/><br/>The food of this restaurant is really good and we had 7 zomato gold memberships and we were more than 14 members. <br/><br/>We ordered 4 portions of pot rice , 4 portions of pan fried noodles and even ordered few rice and gravy. <br/><br/>In all it was very good and the bill for 14 members came to around Rs 7000/- <br/><br/>A must place to go if you want to enjoy 5 star food and also not put a dent in your pocket.

The manchow soup and corriander soups are both mouth wateringly delicious. The tofu in clay pot and the mapo tofu are unique this location. We had a wonderful dinner and Jojo provided excellent service.

Awesome food and experience overall. We got a private dining area for 10 pax. Food suggested by Rohit was just the way he had recommended. Rohit treated us to an exclusive service, personalised, attentive and prompt. Definitely taking the famed Taj hospitality a notch higher.

The quality of food was excellent but the taste specially of prawns was not up to the mark. You can avoid the sticky rice. But the service and politeness of the staff is to the next level. The other items ordered were up to the mark.

Nice Quiet Chinese restaurant . It was a sunny summer afternoon and while we were waiting at the airport to pick our guest we decided this would be great spot to explore relaxed lunch. The Taj has an entrance for guests . That was perfect and the best was that zomato gold works here.<br/>Ambience : perfect lighting and nicely done Service : warm and friendly and quiet relaxed ur food won’t be rushed to you<br/>Food : corn curd and chestnut puff of interesting . Spring rolls were okay. Singapore noodles and tofu was really good. Their portion size for noodles and tofu veg are generous <br/><br/><br/>

First off,I would like to express my utmost gratitude to chef Santanu who invariably delivers exemplary food.Simply there's nothing to fault.His devotion to his work coupled with dedication to delivering excellence with utmost consistency sets him apart.His most humble mannerisms devoid of any airs whilst interacting with the guests is a quality found rare.<br/>Secondly,my immense gratitude to the service team ably led by Rohan who unfailingly deliver faultless service time in time out.I recollect the names of four of the staff namely Umesh,JoJo,Herold, Akshay and Yuna who gladly deliver the take away parcel right up to the porch.There's nothing to fault and I won't nitpick.<br/>To sum it up,without hesitation, my experiences as a regular guest at this outlet for the past few months provide me with compelling convincing and credible reasons to give it 5* and some more.

The food was average. Nothing exceptional. Even the dessert was below average. Had heard a lot about this place but was disappointed by the food and the service. I had called to inform that we are celebrating a birthday and requested for a cake in advance (as a surprise) but they forgot about it. I had confirmed this twice as i didnt want to mention it in front of my friend. The staff could not even remember our order and completely forgot about it. Overall it was a bad experience.

You feel relaxed as soon as u walk in ...<br/>We had asked for spicy food and the manager recommended Crispy Tofu Chilli 🌶 and corn n water chestnuts ... both the dishes were NOT spicy ... we also ordered Manchow soup which was made to perfection ... for the main course we ordered, burnt garlic rice and chilli garlic noodles ... vegetables in black pepper sauce ... all dishes were good but I felt the black pepper sauce could have been a bit more ... the food quantity of the main course was good but that of starters were less. <br/>They also do not serve complimentary kimchi or Chinese tea. I highly recommend serving kimchi to start with.<br/>

JHOOTA KHANA AUR JHOOTI DRINKS <br/><br/>Anything connected with the brand “Taj” comes with a lot of expectation and the biggest expectation is of integrity.<br/><br/>The good: Chef Shantanu showed the Dim Sim making procedure and was very warm. Few other aspects caught our virtuous attention.<br/><br/>The bad: Staff was extremely hesitant to supply us cutlery. We needed to request 3 times to supply spoons and forks for four on the table. The usual acumen one comes across was missing. <br/><br/>THE UGLY: The waiter JOJO did the unexpected. I was sitting on the first table from the Dim Sim kitchen from where the Dim Sim kitchen and the bar was visible.<br/><br/>Jojo was making a red color cocktail and he tasted the cocktail repeatedly using the same spoon. <br/><br/>Then again he was making a white alcohol based cocktail. After tasting the cocktail repeatedly using the same spoon he had a sip from the glass.<br/><br/>Is this what the customers are being served – JHOOTA KHANA AUR JHOOTI DRINKS.<br/><br/>I didn’t utter a word in the restaurant keeping in mind that it is a retail outlet and the whole atmosphere will be spoilt.<br/><br/>I am a Tata loyalist.<br/><br/>I was among the first few to migrate to Tata Power.<br/><br/>I propoganded heavily to people to use Tata’s cellular services.<br/><br/>I use Voltas AC’s.<br/><br/>Wherever I see Birdy’s I pay a visit.<br/><br/>My treatment was done at Tata Hospital.<br/><br/>I was at another 5 star hotel for some work but decided to go to Taj for dinner because I am a Tata loyalist – I mentioned this to Chef Shantanu that I'm coming from which 5 star hotel.<br/><br/>Tata comes with an unsaid promise of nobility. I was shocked to see this.<br/><br/>After witnessing the above, I didn’t even have water in the restaurant. Just paid the bill, called Jojo under the pretext of thanking him so that I could read his name again and moved on.

Bad food n worse service,had hair in our food n the reply we got was lamb shanks have hair,well that’s only true when they aren’t cleaned properly,overall disappointed that a Taj Restraunt would turn out to be this way.

Loved the place, it’s not heavy on pockets when you use Zomato gold. Lavish ambiance, great service and really good food. You should try the veg variety of dim sums.

V polite and courteous staff who looked after us very well-special mention of Mr Rohan Raut (restaurant manager) who understood our preference and suggested Eggplant in plum sauce which was just amazing and the chef Shantanu who came to meet us and presented us a dish which wasn’t in the menu which again was excellent.<br/> Lovely experience and I highly recommend it!

A decent place for lunch, can't go wrong with the choices of soup. Orange zest fried rice was surprisingly refreshing and to finish it, dark chocolate mousse .

Recently visited China Inc @ Taj Santacruz <br/>Ordered everything vegetarian <br/>The selection of dim sums was quite large and extensive though only chose a select few - the edamame & truffle; along with the crystal vegetable <br/>Both of these were delicious and cooked to perfection <br/>Thereafter enjoyed the crispy tofu appetiser, which I must admit was for us the best dish of the dinner<br/>Going along ordering a mapo tofu and the fresh greens in black bean sauce with the veg burnt garlic rice.<br/>This all that we had ordered was perfect for a group of 4<br/><br/>Must say an all in all amazing experience and would surely recommend a visit to China Inc

We went as a group of friends last year in Oct’18 hoping to have good food after the full day of fasting. But the overall experience made us realize we should have chosen some other place.<br/><br/>The service was pathetic, food bland and tasteless. We had to call for the chef to explain the problem. Rice was un-cooked, chicken had no taste, prawns were not done properly.<br/><br/>I have been to this restaurant couple of times earlier also and had quite liked it. <br/><br/>Maybe as now the place is established, they do not focus on service. A big let down.

China Inc I have no words for you, you just blew my mind. We celebrated our anniversary dinner with two different dimsums spicy chicken and prawns and chestnut. Just amazing, the out cover is of the dumplings was so thin and smooth. For our last dish we ordered the pot rice and garlic sauce with chicken. I would recommend all the dishes I had. It was just too amazing.

Had an office party here, this place is awsm with good and helping staffs. The food was fantastic apart from that the interiors which r placed everywhere r conspicuous. Love to visit it again

My family and me went to celebrate my birthday on 9th March for dinner ..... a place which is over hyped food was totally average But the most disgusting part was while my husband was eating he found a hair in his plate after they served the lamp when we called the manager he was not at all sorry about it and just took it so casually it’s so sad that these hotels don’t understand the meaning of special occasions my husband just didn’t wanna eat and left the meal and came home hungry ....

We had such a horrible experience. The food is average, the service however was very poor.<br/>The glasses we we're drinking water in had a huge crack so much so that water was leaking, however despite pointing it out to the servers and even the managers they didn't care. They just carried on with their work. If we've drank the glass crystals along with the water we wouldn't even know, and it's a massive health Hazzard! No one even bothered to come and take control of situation. We were appalled. It wasn't the 5 star service that we were expecting. Instead the staff with busy squabbling at the back, and using profanities which all the patrons could hear! Never again will we visit the place.<br/>Not for the food and NEVER for the service.

Staff was really polite and up to the mark and Moreover the food quantity and quality was amazing! I felt the price was reasonably less compared to their quality and standards.

They were serving limited menu curated for Chinese New year . Had very limited options and the taste was average. It took almost half hour of soup and more than a hour for starters. The overall ambience is good and service is courteous

I was here for dinner last night . The ambience and the service was really good . I had the sichuan chilli chicken with peppercorns, lantern chillies and green onion AND the burnt garlic chicken . The Sichuan chilli chicken to be honest was really bland and the chicken was chewy which was a real shocker to me , I was expecting it to be so much better . The burnt garlic chicken tough was really delicious. I hope to go to China Inc once more ,soon to try out more of their food and see what it tastes like<br/>NOTE: The pictures are of what was served on one plate among four people and not the entire portion

China Inc is an Asian cuisine restaurant in Taj Santacruz which is so close to the airport and it's one of their best offerings!<br/><br/>The food is amazing and the ambience is also very warm and welcoming. The service is impeccable,keeping the legacy of Taj group.<br/><br/>Coming to what all we tried:-<br/><br/>1) Crystal dumplings - I loved the fact that the coating of the dumplings was very thin and hence the vegetables inside stood out and it was the best dish to begin our meal with! They were so yummy, we felt like devouring 1 more portion!<br/><br/>2) Crispy sweet kernels and water chestnuts in wild pepper - sweet corn kernels and water chestnuts fried and tossed in pepper sauce! Delightful and filling too! Surely try this!<br/><br/>4) Stone wok cooked rice - Perfect complement to our main course gravy! What better to ask for!<br/><br/>5) Seasonal vegetables in hot garlic sauce - All exotic veggies stir fried in hot garlic sauce. Best main course a vegetarian could ask for! Restaurant ambiance is very good and staff is friendly (though I made spl request when making advance buking, which staff had not noted I guess)...food is yummy and v truely loved the experience. We reached there at 10pm on a Sunday 30th of December expecting a good meal before bringing in the new year I have been to Tiqri multiple times and never been disappointed by their food but this place made me feel I’m sitting in some local Asian restaurant the standards of service so poor we ordered for 2 portions of dumplings and one appetiser the appetiser and one dumpling arrived in 10 mins the 2nd portion of dumplings was overlooked by the chef he forgot to prepare it the second portion arrived with our dinner and believe me there was no one who was sorry amongst the staff a polite sorry would’ve satisfied me <br/>Coming to the food it wasn’t great at all nothing like I was expecting <br/>Food at Joss or Ming yang tastes better and the overall dining experience was pathetic I don’t know what is or what was wrong on that day but I feel it was a complete disappointment nothing close to what I expected from a Taj restaurant !!

Went to the place for a birthday celebration in the family. It was a weekday evening and place was not very crowded. <br/><br/>We ordered a pasta and a risotto. Both the items were quite big in portion and were sufficient for two people. They were prepared fresh and served hot. Before the main course, we had a lot of house-cooked bread as well and I loved all of them. <br/><br/>The service is very slow. It took them almost 45 min to serve us in spite of not much crowd. They could have had better speed. <br/><br/>The place's ambiance is very basic and dull.

What set this soup apart from the rest was the vegetables inside. Apart from the regular ones.. there were long slices of tofu which tasted really good. For starters we had crispy tofu. It is just like chilly paneer, just healthier and yummier (if I may say so). Main course was Singapore noodles and tofu curry.. you see the trend here! I love tofu. I have to say though the tofu in main course was sooo soft, it melted away in mouth. I have never had better tofu in my life. <br/>The highlight of our food was the dessert. Served in a dimsum box, it was a sticky pancak-ish tasting rounds with hot liquid chocolate filling. It was so unique. I would highly recommend everyone to try it.<br/><br/>Overall, I had a great meal made better by great company. Would definitely visit again.<br/>

China Inc Taj Santacurz is the place for Chinese Food Lovers This place has the best ambience coupled with great food I had ordered Crispy Prawns which we truly delicious I also ordered Spiced Chicken Dumplings which were simply great also ordered Kung Pao Potato which were very nice<br/>

The Jain food was amazing. Good variety too<br/>The service was a little disappointing.<br/>The staff was never around and and they also goofed up when we asked for food without any capsicum.

To summarize our visit to this place, just one word- Disappointed! Went with a lot of expectation about the Pan-seared Scallops, but there was no sign of any sear in thr first place; secondly the dish was watery (Yet to understand why it was included in the Appetisers if it had to be liquidy). The Prawn & Crab Chive Dimsums were okay. The Crispy Garlic Prawns with Red Chillies tasted like a roadside dish to be honest, and the pieces of bread served as part of the dish were soaked in oil! Overall, strictly average. Will not recommend at all. Went with the lure of Zomato Gold, still felt like wastage of money.

Visited here a couple of times, first time for the A la carte menu and second time for the Gourmet Fest by Axis Bank. The ambience is extremely calm and relaxed (can seem dull to some). The texture was great and so was the taste.<br/>Sautéed Chicken Dry Red Chilli - Good delicious but nothing unique about it. <br/>Sliced Fish, Wood Ear, Chilli Mustard Sauce - This dish was great. The fish was fresh. A good mustard flavour complimented the fish. <br/>Sliced Chicken in Chilli Oyster Sauce - The Oyster sauce well with the fried rice. A really good option among the mains.<br/>Vegetable Stir Fried Rice, Crunchy Burnt Garlic - Perfect with a nice tinge of garlic.<br/>Wok Tossed Hakka Noodles - This was just all right. Compared to the other dishes, I found this average.<br/>Darsaan - Crispy honey tossed noodles. Quite decent.<br/>Wasabi Cheesecake - Fantastic. Loved the cheesecake. Didn’t get much of the wasabi flavour but taste wise it was good.<br/><br/>I was happy with the overall quality of the food. The quantity of the portions were a pleasant surprise as we did not expect a good quantity here initially. We were quite full and satisfied towards the end. The staff is extremely courteous as expected. No faults in service. Very simply put...not what you would expect of a restaurant from the Taj stable. Ambience n Service is not upto standards of a 5* Chinese restuarant. However what disppointed us the most was the food quality at this place. Sub par on most counts. Ming Yang would be miles ahead of this one!

This place is a hidden gem which needs to be discovered. <br/> On the occasion of a friend’s birthday we happened to land up here. <br/> Since this place also accepts zomato gold it was the perfect pick for such a celebration. <br/><br/>We started with the Edmame and truffle dumplings with were alright- I have eaten better. We then moved to lotus stem in honey chilly sauce which had the perfect flavours and the lotus roots were crispy inspired of being doused in sauce. <br/><br/>Moved to the mains with burnt chilli garlic noodles and spicy sichuan fried rice with some vegetables and tofu in a spicy gravy sauce. <br/><br/>It was such a flavoursome meal without anything being over the top. I was espresso baffled with the winter melon they served along with the dips. It was out of this world. <br/><br/>Special mention to Mukund for his hospitality. He truly served us very well and offered us complimentary dessert to celebrate the occasion. <br/>Lives up to Taj standards. <br/><br/>Will surely come back again! <br/>

What a cool place China Inc at Taj !! We were 5 friends decided to have Lunch at China inc. We knew Zomato gold is applicable at this place. It was pre- Karwa chauth lunch.<br/>Yogesh, the house staff was so courteous to talk. He gave us the best seat in the restaurant to chill out. The food was yummlicious and drinks were outstanding.<br/>We had a great time and was fully satisfied with Yum food!! Thanks Taj. Will surely visit again💯

When it comes to chinese, the Taj group never fails to disappoint. If you are looking for some beautiful and delicate Chinese food, China Inc is the restaurant that you should make a visit too. <br/>The vegetarian sweet corn soup was on point . So were the crystal dim sum.Delicate yet extremely delicious. The burnt garlic rice was the highlight accompanied with tofu and vegetables on the side. We finished with a beautiful chocolate mousse which was rich and soft.Service was good and attentive.My only criticism was with the seats that made bending down to eat uncomfortable without proper back support. Also I felt the ambience to be a bit tacky.Overall great dining experience at this restaurant.

The food is good though I didn’t find any dish which stood out as extraordinary. The vegetarian starter with lotus stem was good. They have a wide varitey of drinks especially wines so a interesting place for wine lovers. And lastly, one of the few Zomato gold restaurants in a 5 star hotel!

A fan of Asian food , went here for a dumpling , dessert and cocktails session . The dumplings were loaded w unmatched flavour and surprisingly were quite filling . The Smoked Ribs are a must try . The dessert tho delicious didn’t have me in awe , but the cocktails definitely did . We had 3 cocktails one the signature and 2 others , right from the making , the presentation was definitely of high standard

We made last minute decisions to come to this place, but it was totally worth it. The place is spacious, great cozy kinda feel to it at the same time. Service is prompt and amazingly fast even though we went a little too overboard with our orders. <br/>So how was it? Amazing!! <br/><br/>I would like to start with the signature cocktails that they offer the Golden Spice Entice and the Golden Spice Apple Pie. The first is a lovely not too sweet mixture of curry leaves and cinnamon which shout out to you saying “have more, have more”. The latter is a dessert in it self, I mean you don’t need to have anything else to sweeten your tooth after that. <br/><br/>The food lineup goes like this; xo chicken dim sum, burnt garlic chicken, sliced pork yunan style, broccoli pochoy chilli mustard, spicy Sichuan style wheat noodles and slice lamb honey black pepper. <br/>All of it great, all of it, with its own unique flavors and taste.<br/><br/>This place does not let the senses down... I truly loved their food and service but most of all their signature line of cocktails.

Taj Santacruz has always been my favorite so beautiful and so cosy and comfortable as well as extremely private and pleasure full I left the food over there the dimsums but you got the Rise even the mix vegetable in a black pepper sauce was also damn amazing there is nothing that I could save is missing in fact there are times I just want to visit Taj and all its restaurants just so that I could be in that beauty

A regular Taj standard place, you will know what to expect here. The Wasabi Prawns were top notch, yet the duck was just above average. We had a reservation in advance and yet were asked to wait for over half an hour despite a table being available. Didn’t quite understand the fiasco about that. The staff post that more than made up with their service. However, the expectations were pretty high out of the place, and I think they need to really buck up their game to score higher.

This was a  recently discovery for me. We loved the food here. The Veg Bao and Mushroom Bao was delicious. The service and staff were friendly too. Its a kid friendly place and we all enjoyed our dinner a lot.

The first visit was delightful. Staff was very welcoming. Bottle of wine and champagne down well with our starters followed by mains. Food presentation was plush as well as delicious. The staff was friendly especially YASH who guided us with delicious options, and the food was excellent. Taj Santacruz, is in the old airport complex and pretty confusing to access. But once you enter it, the grandeur of the place is just “So Taj”. Amazing lobby n reception with one of the biggest fish tank I have seen. And then you go to China Inc which is located on the ground floor. <br/>Beautifully done massive place with class service. We were 2 so couldn’t order much but whatever we had was simply outstanding. <br/><br/>Chicken Dumplings- Simple Chicken could taste so good was a surprise to me. Paper thin cover with an fabulous tasting chicken mince. <br/>Mushroom Bao- surprised to see the Bao was served looking like a giant Mushroom with with chocolate on top making it depict an exact mushroom. Unfortunately it was on the sweetish side which was a let down for me. Though the taste was amazing <br/>Chicken Pan Fried Noodles- Another winner of a dish. Though I don’t prefer chicken, rather avoid it but this was just superb. <br/><br/>My point-<br/>The place is heavy on the pocket but then “It’s Taj”. The class is over powering. Place is located inside Taj Hotel Santacruz. Ambience of this place is at its best. Its of the best place if you want to eat Seafood. Lobsters they serve here is amazingly delicious. Yes the place is expensive but has to be to maintain their standards(yet we had to wait for longer time so that someone can serve the food).
