Review The Wine Rack - Mumbai

Anish Deshmukh
Tao9 A restaurant serving many variety of wings. Their logo catched me, very nice. Thought of ordering it for a dinner. Korean hot wings, were thick with good covering and tossed in Korean style sauce. Little spicy wings can be enjoyed really hot. Lemon pepper chicken. Dish of the meal. Chicken chunks batter fried and tossed in black pepper and lemon juice along with few mix peppers and spring onions. Stir fry chicken in soy coriander sauce, cornflour batter fried chicken tossed in soy based medium thickness gravy with coriander and some mix peppers, consistency of the gravy was perfect. Veg friend rice little dry rice with mix vegetables was good with gravy which we ordered.

The place undoubtedly serves some amazing Chinese food. The prices are super reasonable for the quantity and quality. We got our lunch delivered from the outlet. Everything was well packed and looked tempting. What we had: Kung pao Potato: classic at its best. Perfect blend of flavours. Paneer Chilly: super fresh paneer, amazing tossed with chillies! Triple Schezwan Rice: the taste was good, however the proportion of gravy could be increased a little. Else no complaints! Chilli Garlic Noodles: Great taste, just how it’s supposed to be! Overall, great food was delivered. Will we recommend: For Sure! Will we order again: Definitely!

I am a big fan of momo’s, Chinese food item and can never say no for it. While going through Zomato I located this delivery outlet. So I placed an order for- Non-veg dimsum platter- The quantity was really good according to the price range. And there was different types of dimsum/ momo’s. Few were of chicken and few of prawns. I loved the prawns much. Non-veg noodles bento box- It was like Chinese thali for me. Which had momo’s, noodles, chicken gravy. And the quantity was also really good. The noodle was bit spicy for me. Chicken triple sichuan rice- It was a bit mixture of rice and noodles. The gravy was included and mixed together with the rice. Not that spicy so I loved it.

Tao 9 it is just a delivery outlet at the Gandhi Nagar lower Parel.. To have the food at home , office or any other place it is best to have it from here it is my recommendation they are serving the excellent quality of the food and after having it you will be fully satisfied wht you pay.. We have started with the the chicken in hot garlic sauce:- In this you will get the chicken which is cooked nicely with the little thick gravy which make the taste nice Chicken chilli:- You must had lots of different varieties of chicken chilli in the restaurant, but after having it you will find something new which make up to have some more of it Finally we have ended up with butter garlic prawn:- They are not only just prawns they are tiger prawns , they are marinated in the sauce with thick gravy which once you had you would like to have more the quantity is also more According to the money it is more than enough.. Ratings:- Taste ✡️✡️✡️✡️ 1/2 Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟 1/2 VOM ✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️

I had ordered Chicken chilli garlic noodles and triple Schezwan rice. Triple Schezwan rice came with fried noodles and fried egg separately. Taste was excellent and so was quantity. Chicken was tender and tasty. 4.5/5 on taste. Chilli garlic noodles were spicy and good but nothing great. 3.5/5 on taste.

Nice little play area for kids within Phonix mill. Little expensive and limited equipment. You happen to drive to this place, watch your pocket for parking charges at Phoenix

Spent a relaxing lunch to recharge before heading back into bustling Mumbai for meetings. Superb wine list, nice to be able to sample indian wine by the glass and Sara Todd’s (I must confess my ignorance as a Brit I don’t know who she is) menu inspired on Australian cuisine was superb, BBQ chicken was a favorite and the chocolate mouse with paprika (I think) could have been slightly hotter and still delicious.

Excellent service, the waiter was very knowledgeable about different wines also helped us to order their signature dishes, good ruff looking ambiance, the only setback was the extremely noisy AC blower over our heads which gave us a headache 🤕 will definitely visit again

As soon as I came to know about this place I made a plan of visiting the place that day itself. Because the menu was curated by one of the Australian MasterChef. A very large menu and very difficult to order. As i went for the first time I ordered only one thing that is goat cheese churros with truffle creme and chilli dip. Goat cheese churros something new and fascinating right?!! My friends who visited this place earlier suggested me to order this and trust me it made my day. It was super delicious. I've never had goat milk and when I had goat cheese churros is turned out to be something amazing. If you ever visit this place then order these goat cheese churros, they won't disappoint you.
(Ps- I went to the restaurant before the pandemic)

Went here on a Saturday evening for dinner and found the place quite full. We managed to get a table on time and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The service was prompt and the food quality quite good.

We broke into our meal with a crispy, buttery Karari Roti and we couldn’t stop cracking through it till the end of our meal. It is one of those things that you cannot stop munching, no matter how much you try. Had with a light Rose, well-seasoned and salted, this was a straight up hit. The star of the small plates, however, are the Goat Cheese Churros with a truffle cream and chilli dip. While sipping on your wine, these savory churros are something that you would want to return for without a doubt.

Food : 💥💥💥💥
Service : 😊😊😊😊
Ambience : 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Special Recommendation : Goat Cheese Churros.
The kulchas, churros, pizzas were delicious!
You can tell the menu and the recipes have that touch of a former Masterchef Australia contestant 😜
Really good quality of food and service!

Good place..fancy Crowd ....a little expensive on your pockets but it's definitely worth the price
Two Mouths Full
They pride themselves on their wine selection, and they might as well. The food barely passes muster and is not at all worth the hole it burns in your pocket. We tried the signature karari roti which would pair better with a single malt, over wine, truth be told. The cheese platter is a cheese platter. What else can one say, really. The chicken and hummus was average fare. Located in Phoenix, its best to drop in for a glass of wine after a long day of shopping. And then head to dinner, elsewhere.

Place is just awesome , serves yummy food and great service. Ambience is perfect for Saturday night. We ordered bottle of wine , Riunite🍷 on recommendation of staff and it was one of the best red wines I have ever had.
For small plates we ordered karari roti, chargrilled broccoli and sweet potato tacos 🌮. Karari roti and broccoli again were the winners .

For main course we just ordered portobello shitake mush risotto which was also delicious.

Definitely a must visit for every wine lover!

On asking if we wanted bottled water or regular water, we asked if the "regular" water was tal water. The server replied yes, hence we ordered for bottled water. He gave us a ₹350 bottle of water(which we discovered only once the bill came). I would never want to give money to such sleazy businesses who don't wish to make money ethically.

Tap water*

From my point of view every one should go in order to chill

Had a very satisfying lunch at the Wine Rack. They have a set menu lunch from Monday to Friday. Started of with Raw Papaya salad, followed by tomato soup. Main course was the crispy chilli beef tenderloin and dessert was their home made ice cream. From start to finish, all the items were very tasty and well presented. The ambience and service was super. Most importantly this was a full value for money meal at 866 all inclusive. Portions were satisfying.

A Christmas evening cannot get better than to step inside this plush, beautiful restaurant tucked in one corner of the huge Palladium Mall. It was a chance visit but the way, we were welcomed into the restaurant, I felt the true Christmas spirit of hospitality and kindness. We spent close to 3 hours in the restaurant but overall, it was an extremely satisfying visit. The food was absolutely lip-smackingly good and the sheer collection of wines were a sight! We tried the Crispy Bombay Duck, Pumpkin Puree & Seasonal Lettuce, Portobello, Truffle, Shitake Rissotto, add the fabulous wine tastings and the usual drinks and it was an evening to cherish and remember! The food presentation was equally beautiful. Special mention to Shehnaz (I hope I spelled it correctly), to Nikhil and Lucky for their great service and support in choosing the right dishes and drinks! Keep up the fabulous work guys, will definitely visit soon! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance!

Superb ambience very nice place. Very courteous staff specially Aakash who was at our service right through out with a great happy smile. Keep up the good work Aakash.

Super good collection of wine and champagne people who truly love 🍷 this is the place you should look out for.

Music was old school so for me that was okay
Now coming on to food and mocktails.

1. Chargrilled Pesto 🍕 10/10
2. Stir Fried Water Chestnut 8/10
3. Rissoto 7/10
4. The Wine Rack Champagne 6/10
5. Lychee Pomogrante Collins 0/10 Stale or the taste was like medicine was a complete disaster.
6. Ice Tea Lemon 2/10

Basically Mocktails were horrible one can avoid and not give a try. Yes plz do try the pizza which mentioned above. One of the best pizza I had until now that was recommended by Aakash. Thank you Aakash though your Mocktails didn't go right but anyway you amazing with your service. So thank you once again.
Rating from 1 to 10
Promoter 7 - 10 Positive
Passive 5 - 6 Neutral
Detractor 1 - 4 Negative

If avocado is your thing, then you must absolutely try out the Avocado On Toast here served on a sourdough toast & topped with bocconcini & cherry tomato.

Did You Know: While avocado toast is quite the food rage now, sliced or mashed avocado on some sort of bread, flatbread or tortilla has been eaten by humans since before any documented or written history.

Wine & cheese have been ageless companions since time immemorial. So when you have over 300 different wines from all over the world to choose from, a Cheese Platter is the perfect complement! Apart from a selection of 4 varieties of cheese, the platter also includes walnuts, olives, red grapes, apricots & apple wine jam accompanied with sourdough bread, breadsticks & crackers.

The food was delicious and the service provided by Mr. Khaleed was excellent. Would definitely recommend to my friends and relatives.

I loved the decor and more or less liked the food. Portion sizes were also adequate (Thai curry and quinoa biryani in particular), which is often a rarity in restaurants that try so hard to be "European", a focus that ends rather badly in the service element, which was quite patronising (eye rolling when asked to serve around a dish was a little off-putting). Also, we were seated in a far corner at the back of the restaurant, on the pretext that all the other (twelve or so) tables had been reserved. By the time we were done only one other table had been sat on.
The Hungry Chashmish
Recently, we visited this upscale restaurant tucked away in the posh precinct of South Mumbai. With a menu specially curated by the famous MasterChef Sarah Todd, this menu is a perfect amalgamation of Indian and Continental cuisines. The restaurant like its name suggests is famous for its wide range of alcoholic beverages especially the wines. With an iconic bar and modern, exquisite interiors, this place is a must-visit, especially on a Saturday night. The menu, by this Australian Chef, has a modern take on the Indian cuisine and our favourite dish was the Sundried Tomato Kulcha paired with the non-alcoholic champagne. Though we were sceptical at first, the drink was a true delight. Besides this, we truly loved their Avocado on Toast which was freshly made with perfect, balanced flavours. We recommend you to visit this place and experience it for yourself.

A romantic date night, this is the place to be. Well their tables and the spacing are small and hasn't been done right, but the Pizzass are amazing, also what can go wrong in a Pizza and wine combination

I love the amazing authentic taste of food there. Very interesting menu. My all time favourite restaurant. Must try for people with refined taste

It's located in palladium mall at Phoenix market city in lower parel..the ambience is quite good...it's walls are decked with shelves of bottles of wines..and not only typical red white wine but it displays a large number of variety of wines..which will make you confuse to go for which one?and apart from that appetizers and food is also available here...but that's not upto the mark

Quite an underwhelming experience. We were here for lunch and we were quite early (it had just opened). The wine selection is amazing but they didn't have our first choice of wine, but we got another one which we liked.

Food was just strange. I enjoy trying new foods and I'm open to different tastes and textures but neither my husband nor I enjoyed either of the dishes we ordered so we decided to eat a proper meal elsewhere. More importantly, while the staff was polite, they seemed eager to throw us out. The server just dunked all the wine in our glasses in 2 rounds and constantly asked if we were done. This began after the first dish itself... And we were a bit taken aback. The whole place was empty so I didn't really see why they were eager for us to leave. In any case, I suppose we saved a lot of money in not a full meal eating here.

I don't think I'd recommend this place to anybody. You'd rather pick up a bottle of wine from a wineshop and order in pizza.

Who in the world charges a min tab to order beer of choice!!? Stella Beer skunked. Another bar+server issue manager resolved effectively, but mngmnt practice not ethical.

Interesting place overall. Ok food and drinks and courteous service. But wouldn't want to visit again though. There's nothing that really stands out.

I knew from a tv documentary that this was Sarah Todd’s second restaurant in Mumbai. That’s why I had high expectations. But sadly it didn’t feel like a masterchef’s kitchen.
Although the ideas and the creativity with spices were very good but it lacked presentation. The first impression I got from looking at the plate wasn’t very good. That impression lasted until I started judging the flavours separately.
Other than that, the decor was very nice. Had a vintage feel to it, like a good wine. The live music was good as well.
I’d have rated 5 if my expectations weren’t as high

My friend and I were here for dinner and it turned out to be a quiet and classy Monday night meal with the elegant vibes that the place had.

Order for the day:

1. SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO - The BEST spaghetti aglio olio i've had till date. No traces of oil on the dish, delicious flavor.

2. GARLIC BREAD WITH CHEESE - So this was not on the menu and i had to actually explain what I wanted, which the person waiting on us explained to the chef and we finally got 3 small pieces of baguette with garlic and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Will not recommend requesting for this. Just stick to the menu! :P

3. MUSHROOM, THYME, GORGONZOLA, BALSAMIC GLAZE, CARAMELIZED ONION PIZZA - This pizza was really good. The caramelized onion were a little too sweet but i removed a couple of pieces and the pizza was good to go! :D

I will be coming back, again and again, just for the spaghetti ! :D

Went for lunch on Monday. Empty restaurant..we were the only table. Ordered pizza, madras lamb tortellini, chicken roulade and honey spiced chicken. Other than the tortellini, nothing else could be rated more than 2 / 5. Good presentation, small portion but very bad dishes. This was unanimous across 4 people who were at the table. For the price, it was a complete let down. The worst was that post feedback, there was no acknowledgement or effort to win back the table by the server or manager. Not recommended

This was my first time to Wine Rack and it was a nice experience. The ambience is pretty good and nothing extraordinary. But what stands out is the food and a wide variety of drinks that they have and serve. The food was as authentic as it can get but only with an Indian twist. I think, they should have an option to offer an authentic tasting dish or with an Indian taste, as I believe not all Indians would want an international dish served with an Indian taste. This is my opinion only. Apart from that all the ingredients used in making the dishes were fresh as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for international cuisine with an Indian twist.

Cosy seating and good service. We had lamb chops which were tasty but the meat itself was a little disappointing. The prawn dish was excellent. Good place

Fantastic out of the world cocktails, great service and classy ambience. Tried the wine lovers LIT, which is by far the best LIT I've ever tasted. The rainmaker is for those who love the taste of authentic whiskey in their drink. The wife enjoyed Tuscan Summer which has a light fruity flavour; though it's quite potent. The vegetarian pizzas were good too. All this is complemented by attentive and helpful service. Had a good time here. Will definitely be back.

One of my favourite places in Bombay. Their variety of wine is topclass. It also is a great place to sit, talk and chill without loud music. A must go place for a date. And it’s not very expensive

Had an amazing time at this place located at ground floor at Phoenix. Fine dining and wine tasting point you might call it. Wine trials were closed during my visit, so had to order a la carte. Apart from being on pricier side, all dishes were great. Lamb and goats cheese dishes were delicious. You can enjoy a good evening out here.
Rishi
The ambience is amazing, and the whole place is very well done. The food is really good but the quality of food used to be better when the restaurant had just opened. I just wish it was easy to get reservations because they always say that their full on the phone, but if you go there you’ll always find a table

Today i had a very intresting experience at this place.unwelcoming, disgracefull..gentlemen make sure you wear ur tuxedo before entering this place or ull be denied entry.this was my first time i thought of visiting this place.after great experiences at bastian and hakkasan today i thought of experienceing The wine rack was very exited to dine before everything went from so cool to not so cool.We were denied entry saying ull are wearing open footwear(crocs).I know its a fine dine but do you expect people to dine with wet soggy shoes at a fine dine? Right after 2 min we noticed a group of 3 entering the resturant with slippers so couldnt help but i went back and spoke to the guy at the door saying why were we denied an entry when you just let 3 people enter with slippers confused he went and called the manager. The manager comes to me and i ask him the same to which he denied as if i was lying. He tells me ladies are allowed wit open footwear while men have to wear shoes.m sorry but that was the dummest thing i ever heard anyone say.u can allow my girlfriend with crocs but just cause i am a man i am not allowed with crocs.disgracefull would never visit this place again .After which we went to aer bar at four seasons and had an amazing evening.
Great place with lovely music and definitely rocking cocktails and food to go along and also not to forget the awesome display of the finest wines from all over the globe

We visited the place last month to get a hang of wine tasting and we weren't disappointed. The staff seemed extremely knowledgeable about their wine and they were more than happy to give us tasters. The food portion served could have been more generous for the bucks being paid.

Overall, a pleasant experience with a huge hole in my pocket :D

Had been wanting to visit The Wine Rack for a while and finally got a chance recently. I know I'm late to the party, but better late than never. The Wine Rack is manna for oenophiles. Their menu is curated by the well-known celebrity chef and finalist of Masterchef Australia 2014, Sarah Todd, which features progressive versions of Indian street food, makes for a perfect dining experience.

The décor inspired by minimalist design is elegant. The space is dominated by wooden tables, chairs and benches, exhibits warmth and gives the place an exuberant vibe. The in-house wine cellar allows you to select your own wine from a collection of 300 varietals from 35 countries around the world.

Coming to what all we tried:

💁🏻‍♂️ Sundried Tomato Kulcha, Crumbled Bocconcini, Sriracha Hummus: Yes, you read that right, it’s a mind blowing version of the kulcha, as a part of Sarah Todd’s special. The crisp-edged kulcha holding well under the topping of sun dried tomatoes, cheese, and sriracha. A brilliant twist added by topping this kulcha base with some sriracha hummus, crumbled bocconcini and arugula leaves. No words to describe how good this was. It is a must have.

💁🏻‍♂️ Goat Cheese Churros with Truffle Cream and Chilli Dip: An innovation that took the sweet churros, traditionally a Mexican dessert, to a new level. Pairing up the goat cheese churros with a chilli dip and truffle dip is an innovation to suit the Indian palate. These savory churros, just like the sweet ones, are quite addictive. These savoury churros is deep fried yet airy, crispy yet gooey.

💁🏻‍♂️ Portobello, Truffle, Shitake Risotto: Rich, delicious and perfection on a plate. Undoubtedly, one of the best risottos I have had. Very palatable and delish.

💁🏻‍♂️ Quinoa Edamame Biriyani, Avocado Raita and Karari Crisps: Digging into the quinoa biryani, I realised that it replicated the authentic flavours of a dum biryani and the soft quinoa grains melted in the mouth, making the mouth water for more. Served with an avocado raita, it provided a bit of freshness to the dish. The Karari Crisps on the side lent a crunch, while the smooth avocado raita provided silken texture.

💁🏻‍♂️ Chilli Chocolate Mousse, Raspberry reduction, Mango Passionfruit: The chocolate mousse recreated to delicious perfection and promises to take you on cloud nine. We definitely ended our tasting on a sweet note.

🍸 To pair with our food, we ordered for Classic Red Wine Sangrias. They were good and complimented the food well.

👍🏻 The service was quick and the place wasn’t very crowded for a Saturday afternoon. Kudos to Mr. Imran and the team. An afternoon sipping on sangrias, grooving to some music and food that made our palates sing out in sheer joy was certainly well-spent. The energetic yet soothing vibe of the place, a beautiful collection of wine and a menu from which you would want to eat and drink everything is what The Wine Rack promises and delivers.

Bon Appétit.

Fantastic taste and quality and i would highly recommend this restaurant. I generally have pastas here and they are superb. Their ambience is great and quantity that they provide for that price is also perfect.

This place is very fancy and I absolutely loved their interiors and the whole arrangement... They have a huge display of wines from all around which a delight for someone who loves a good glass to go with some great food .. their food menu too offers a wide variety and I must say, all that I tried was beyond expectations... Itsy a little overpriced but who doesn't like spending on something so good... Things I tried: pesto pasta with bacon, stir fried water chestnuts, grilled prawns with thyme garlic and pickled salsa, broccoli with sunflower seeds, BBQ chicken pizza, Goan pork pizza, naan pizza, tomato margarita, chocolate mousse, chocolate brownies, masala chai creme brulee (only thing I wasn't happy with, because the taste of cinnamon was extremely overpowering and the consistency of the brulee was not good), and a good ol' sangria... The place is a must visit ..

Visited them on a Sunday evening. We were two of us and got a table immediately.
Loved the ambience of the place. It was true to its name.
We directly ordered mains, Pumpkin and Eggplant curry with rice. This dish was delicious. Thai herbs are my favourite and portion was excellent as well.

Other main dish was mushroom burrito. It was more of a mushroom wrap then burrito. Again flavours of this dish was spot on but portion was extremely disappointing. Two extremely small portion left us extremely disappointed especially when the Dish is for 800/-

Still giving it 4 star because it had zomato gold and the taste was too good. But I honestly felt the portion for mushroom burrito should be double of what it is.

There's always time for a glass of wine. 🍷
The Wine Rack is a classy fine dinning and bar place located in High Street Phoenix in Lower Parel.
It has a beautiful Decor with walls decked with hundreds of wine bottles which makes it even more ravishing.
Up here is the Cheese platter which we tried. You'll get a combination of cheese, walnuts, olives and fruits like grapes and apricots with apple wine jam. The Wine Rack, one of the first concept restaurants will ensure that they delight your palate with some of the best wines available across the globe with exquisite food to go with it.
Cheers! 🥂

Good food, ambience is awesome and a very polite staff.
The food is good but its a limited quantity so, we received less than what we expect, but it was really good.
They have varieties of wines and the ambience is amazing.

Just get in when you visit highstreet.

Went with friends and also with the spouse. Food is quite delicious. We ordered different starters and desserts. The place plays good music. Staff is very courteous. Pizzas and desserts are excellent. All and all good place. A bit steep pricing.

I love my wine and was eagerly waiting to visit this place. They did have a huge wine collection. However, price point is steep!

Food was quite disappointing. Average at best. We had the veg stuff which was run-of-mill. Not at worth the price point. Luckily we had used zomato gold.

Service was good.

Overall not worth the price point.

Went with a bit of trepidation to Wine Rack to celebrate Father's Day, as I had heard mixed reviews of the place. So glad that we decided to continue with our plans! Excellent decor, very good service (thank you Jinu Thomas), and very very good food. Needless to say, we polished off everything. I can't comment on the wines as none of us are drinkers, but I was impressed by the huge collection that I saw displayed there.

We started this wow meal with thin crust rocket, burrata, white sauce pizza, (YUMMM) and crab cakes. If you do not like your fish funky (most of us Indians do not like that), I would recommend that you give this a skip. The two starters were followed by an excellent herb crusted Red Snapper served on a bed of pearl millet risotto, Crispy Tenderloin in Korean paste accompanied by sweet potato mash and multigrain toast, oh-so-good Lamb ragu tagliatelle, and Roasted Prawns (with superbly charred tails) accompanied by a surprisingly good pearl millet risotto and tomato apricot jam.

The portion sizes are good, and leave the diner feeling more than just a little satisfied. We did peruse through the menu for desserts but as most of the desserts were chocolate based, and none of us are chocolate eaters, we decided to skip that course, and be kind to our full stomachs. A great father's day meal indeed!

Good quaint place in Lower Parel considering everything around it is a super busy place. We took a bottle of red wine albeit a bit sweet, Riunite Lambrusco along with water chestnut small plate dish. Good food with great wine!

One of the best wines i have ever tasted, smooth and tasty. Food was okayish though not bad. But the restaurant is overall quite highly priced. One of the good things is dat it has a separate jain friendly menu and also has zomato gold😋.

Beautiful ambience
Great service
Courteous staff
Amazing wine
Delicious food
.
.
Tried the Avocado on toast for starters which was great but I wish there was a little lemon zest over the mush. Good cheese, perfect presentation on a good toast. Breakfast for lunch!

Next was the mushroom risotto with pink sauce.
Oh lala, one of the best I've had. Satisfied.

With a great choice of wines, you're sorted for the meal!
Had been wanting to visit Wine rack for a while and finally got a chance recently. I know I'm late to the party. But better late than never!

Menu designed by the MasterChef Australia fame Sarah Todd where she tried her take on Indian Street food is definitely something interesting to look forward to.
She is no new to the Indian restaurant scene. Running successfully is her Antares Restaurant and Beach club in Vagator Goa.

The speciality about Wine Rack is that they source 300 wines from around the world!!!

It's certainly the best place in Mumbai to try wines if you are an aficionado or even if you are a novice!

Coming to what all we tried:-

1) Avocado on toast
2) Stir fried water chestnuts in smoked chilli sauce
3) Chargrilled veg pesto, goat cheese, ricotta, lemon zest pizza
4) Gluten free brownie with icecream

The food is overall good but not too great. We did enjoy each and every dish.
The avocado on toast was probably the best out of all the dishes. Our friends also had the mushroom risotto and they loved it.

Overall a good place to just chill and try different types of wines that complement your taste buds and your food!

First Visit to this place. Have been to Sarah Todd’s Antares in Goa and always wanted to visit the Wine Rack in Mumbai. Must say it wasn’t disappointing at all and I was delighted by the experience.
The grilled barbecue chicken corn smash and pomegranate and The Red Wine Duck Kulcha is a must have.
For dessert we tried the Chilli Chocolate Mousse, raspberry reduction, mango passionfruit and it was fabulous.
A great variety of Wines as well.
I would like to call out Jinu Thomas who served us. Thank You Jinu... 😊
Also Thank you Ms. Todd for creating another great experience.

Service was great. Can be pricey but if there's a nice occasion I'd recommend it. GREAT food and romantic atmosphere. I recommend the chilli eef tenderloin, it was very tender.

Really good ambiance, good food, good service.
They also have a separate jain part in the menu (so there are many varieties available in jain as well).

We had the risotto in pink sauce with olives and jalapeños - good portion size and tasted amazing as well. Definitely a must try.

We also had the avocado on toast which was decent but not the best.

They also had good vegetarian dimsums.

The dishes were all well presented and all the portion sizes were decent.

Definitely a place worth trying.

It was a wonderful experience! Came here to treat my parents on their wedding anniversary.
Ginu Thomas served us for the night and he was cordial and instrumental for the memorable dinner. From getting us a table to getting us a delicious wine and well paired food with it, he had the best suggestions at hand.

The place has easily become the top favourite and I am sure it will be the same for you too if you like good food, wine and a great dining experience.

Be sure to be open to new tastes here as the menu is crafted brilliantly, combining varying yet complimenting elements.

The food is disgusting and the wine was overpriced. We had to send back two dishes because they were inedible. They even managed to screw up flat bread and pizza. The prawn was not fresh- none of the seafood was actually.
The chef has probably picked up names of dishes from other menus, but has no idea how to make them. They need to hire a professional chef or shut down soon.

We were seated for 30mins without a waiter or even a glass of water being served to us. Eventually I had to personally go to a waiter and request him to attend to us. The wine was nice. Food was average. The pizza had a strange curried lamb which really threw me off. I like Indian food, but not on my pizza! But impressive collection of wines.

Super yummy meal at the wine rack!
This place has the BEST DESSERT EVER and I can never get enough of it! Highly highly recommend coming here! Such exotic and delicious dishes
Pic 1- grilled lamb chops, mango glaze, seasonal vegetables
Pic 2- crispy pork croquettes, sauce gribiche, Apple purée
Pic 3- crispy squid, sweet potato fries
Pic 4- prawns with risotto and apricot jam on the side (can't get the exact name because it's not on the online menu, sorry)
Pic 5- crispy chilli beef tenderloin, sweet potato hash, citrus, spiced multigrain toast
Pic 6- alfredo pasta with add on bacon
Pic 7-gluten free warm chocolate cake, vanilla caramel icecream (aka my fave dessert ever)
Pic 8-banana sponge, custard, split, spiced jus
Amazing place. Variety of wine is obviously too good. We had 3 things. All perfect. The burrito was just yummy! Most unexpected! The kulcha as always was perfect with the right portion of each ingredient. And nothing can go wrong with a mushroom risotto here. If you have to select 2 veg dishes, drop the risotto and go for the other two. A place that can’t be missed. We go here regularly.

First and foremost, they have cracked the ambience code. Dimly lit, the space is ripe with smells of bread and conversations. And then there is a good choice of wine, cocktails, and the food I ordered was perfectly made. Service is good, would be visiting again (and again).

It's an alcoholics paradise. Great ambiance with live music. We landed there on a weekday with a large group from workplace. The service is great and definitely upto the mark. The karara roti was an unimpressive large papad for 300 quid, overpriced. The quinoa biryani with avocado raita was a refreshing change. The taste was just right. The thick crust pizza at prices of 675++ is again overpriced for the quality. It's a good stop to impress someone with a lavish meal. Definitely good to burn some cash on wine with live music. Pay a visit if you have some extra cash.

Impressive collection of wines and other liquors. Ask for your wine expert to suggest something that goes with your food order. You won't be disappointed. Got to keep our wine bottle as a souvenir too :P

Great ambience, lovely food, best place for a cozy nice chat and some great wine and cheese pairings. Slightly pricey on the wallet though, but worth the experience.

Super delicious food & super awesome wine... it was not just fine, but had amazing dine with the wine... a different taste of food & its fusion...

Was so pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff. Dipankar has to be especially mentioned with his super knowledge on wines. Also suggestions on what to eat were bang on. We had the lamb burritos and lamb tortilenni which were superb !

Don’t let Dipankar go! He is very good !!

As excited as I was to try Wine rack, i have to say it was a little underwhelming to actually eat here. The appetisers’ portion sizes for the prices are a let down, the salmon tastes weird, all in all its one of those places you eat at to check something off your list. Its not a place you’d visit again. The staff however, is very kind and service is top-notch. The beef chilly is a winner.

It's ok place , Service is slow . Food is Good , not the Best. I wouldn't repeat this place , as they charged us for drink which they never served . when it was informed, Manager's response was it was made at bar. It was so sad to note , he went on to say it will be deducted from servers pay . We made the invoice changed n to ensure poor server not penalized we paid him twice the amount of drink. This speaks about the Management, I never had any such experience anywhere in the world. It was very Sad.

Staff is very good n very courteous. Wine Menu is not great .. I didn't see Wine cellar in restaurant. Toilets are not cleaned at regular interval .

I will for sure never visit this place again.

Super place fantastic food great ambience. And really good service. Would love to visit more frequently. The cocktails are also delicious. The only place in the city that knows how to make a good Aperol Spritz

Great decor combined with a bar which servws a wide array of wines & bangin music! Food & wine does full justice despite it being a little heavy on the wallet.
Tried:-
Lemon & confit garlic prawn
Beurre noisette portobello risotto
Rosemary roast lamb
Portobello truffle shitake risotto

Mocktails and deserts tastes good. Well behaved staff and ambiance is also great. Pizza taste was not that good. Great place to hangout and try new drinks.

Rarely in life does one come across a restaurant that hits the ball out of the park on all 5 essentials - great ambience, tasty food, good portions, good service and sensible prices. Our 4-course Veg Set meal was perfect right from the House Green Salad, Sweet Corn Soup, Thai Green Curry/ Rice and all the way through to the House Ice Cream with Brownie. If you are in High Street Phoenix, don't miss this place. From me to the establishment of the The Wine Rack - Take a bow guys!

Amazing ambience and even more amazing wine collection. The staff was great and suggested some amazing dishes. Had great food after a very long time.
Bhavin Dani
Great ambience but the food was really average. Certainly not value for money for the prices charged. Suggest to look at various other options to choose from at the mall than this place.
