It’s a elegant restaurant designed by Gauri Lamba aka Mrs SRK. It’s super classy, the ambience is chic and inviting. The theme of this place is Indian Food, cooked on charcoal and wood, primitive cookingj. It’s a nice concept, I totally loved it. The food is really amazing, try the small plates of chicken or fish. We had ordered Charred fish, which was a Kolkata fresh water fish Bhetki nicely cooked on charcoal. The Taco and Paneer Gunpowder Dosa were nicely made. Indian food cannot be complete without a Dal Makhani and Gulab Jamun Rabdi. One thing that stands out is that food is the rallying point here. The ambience is upscale, it’s bound to be that way since Mrs SRK is in the equation.

They offer 15 percent off on Zomato, that’s a another push to pamper your tummy in difficult economic times.

Overall, its a WOW place if good food and good life is what you are looking for.

Signing Off,

Firstly, we ordered the Dosa Square with Gunpowder Paneer and it was truly delicious. We definitely recommend you'll to try it though we couldn't take a picture of it. .
.
For main course, we ordered Lachha Paratha, Dal Makhani and Paneer Makhani. The quantity they serve is good and it was a tasty, satisfying meal.
We wanted to try the desserts as well, but were too full. Next time, maybe? 😋

P.S. : The interiors are gorgeous. You can read a little more about that on our Instagram handle. The Foodaholic Duo

Visited this place for my sister’s birthday dinner and I absolutely loved it. The decor is just right. So classy and nice. It speaks Gauri’s touch. The open kitchen adds a touch of being at home and comfort. As you can see the food being freshly prepared for you. Food is amazing in taste. Hospitality is great. Hygienic. Not very pricey. Also the quantity served is good for 2 people to indulge in. Must try their ‘Mutton Deomali’. Good in taste and a classic representation. I am definitely coming back with my family.

Arth, 15th Road, Khar West, Mumbai
**** Rated

Cuisine and Culture are so impeccably interconnected that it is such delight to indulge in a gastronomic experience because it affords such an insight into one’ own culture or the culture of the place the cuisine originates from. This thought resonates with our dinner experience at this expansive, two storeyed but thinly patronised fine diner located in Khar. Arth boasts of an expansive space, a distinction that few restaurants located in Bandra or Khar can stake claim to. Easy to spot as it right there on the 15th road, the massive door opens to a small foyer flanked by an expansive lounge on the left that was completely empty on a Friday night! The staff guided us to the first floor since “it is easier to service there with the kitchen being on the first floor”. While we appreciate the sincerity, this possibly ought not to be the reason to serve customers on the first floor alone! As one ascends the staircase, the landing takes us to a well stocked bar on the left side with the large restaurant, distinctly marked by four massive pillars somewhat obstructing the view. The glass panes overlooking the road downstairs afford not merely depth of space but an uninterrupted view as well. Alongside this, the tables are large, with comfortable cushioned chairs, placed with much space between each one of them.

As we made our way to the centre of the restaurant, opting to be seated by the glass panes and the view, we noticed that barring a large family of 8 and another table with three people, the restaurant was largely empty and this at a busy night time, 10 pm. Throughout our meal I was constantly assailed by this thought wondering why this place continued to be so bereft of patrons and this was our second visit (we had been here a few months ago for lunch). The place is suitably lit with ornate chandeliers dropping down from the ceiling, but mismatched with the grungy black pipes that are fitted into the ceiling which includes the AC too. Likewise are the, what appears to be a hunters’ trophy laden wall, that was diagonally opposite to us with varying antlers from the spotted deer to its other member of the species. The wall had an ancient, yellowish holding appearance again in sharp dissonance with an ornate look afforded by the furniture and the chandeliers. The one place of harmonious ambience is the ladies’ washroom, done up largely in white with a black granite floor. Delightfully lit, very large, comfortable with way to wall full length mirrors gleefully catering to the vanity in us.

The menu is extensive, exhaustive, pleasurable to read, and also tests the strength of your wrists if you too are like me, on the slender side. It begins with a beautiful description of the style of cooking and explains the role and use of angeeti style in Indian cuisine. By the way, this is the speciality of Arth. It caters to an Indian palette and the entire range of food and drink is the brainchild of chef Amninder Sandhu, and it all spells an unhurried, delectable indulgence with loved ones. The portions are decent and the quality of food is outstanding but the pricing could be more competent considering the amount of competition they have. Their prices along with the 10 percent service charge and the vat can be a tad prohibitive and am guessing this could be one of the reasons for a limited patronage.

If experience and quality are your parameters then I would urge you to visit Arth. We started with a Naga Pork Dry Fry and an Indian styled gin based cocktail entitled, Himalayan G and T that is infused with turmeric, orange fritters, cucumber and thyme. It is refreshing, light and not sweet for sure. Now the Naga Pork Dry Fry caught our fancy as we thought it originated in the northeast and together with bamboo shoot and green chillies the pork belly promised to be interesting. We were delighted to see that pork could so soft, tender and succulent. The portion was enough for the two of us as we lapped it up. For the main course we opted to try the hung curd made, Khameri Roti, the Padoli Wali Dal made of five kinds of pulses and the chef’s speciality, Mutton Deolali. It was an experience to watch the mutton dish brought and served to our table! The alpinia leaf wrapped mutton is set in a skewer interspersed with red chillies and placed inside a bamboo shoot which the waiter patiently unwraps and pours it out along with the gravy. This comes with  a portion of the sticky but flavourful jasmine rice, also wrapped in alpinia leaf. One needs to have this to believe how succulent the meat pieces were and so flavourful, coming off a bamboo shoot! As expected the buttered khameri roti was soft indulgence and blended beautifully with the dish. The padoli dal, served in small saucepan like dishes is quite mild, aromatic and easy on the stomach. A word of advice though, it is best to have the jasmine rice when it is hot as it tends to get sticky when cool. The portion ought to suffice for two, if, like us, you are not a heavy eater. Our dinner experience at Arth was pure delight and the waiters were rather helpful. It was sheer greed that led us to opt for the Passion Fruit Ganache and given that we were already quite full, we enjoyed the passion fruit flavoured ice cream and the thick, gooey chocolate cake proved to be too heavy.

We surely intend to return here to try out the other specialities and admire the sheer range that Indian cuisine affords, notwithstanding the price at Arth. My two suggestions would be that they do not shut shop because the last order was at 11.15 although the timings of the restaurant is supposed to be upto 1 am. Considering we were the last of their customers we understand the earlier closing still. Secondly, the establishment needs to possibly work on the pricing and promotion of this place to enlist higher numbers as the two are inter linked. Last, but not the least, the decor of the place surely needs some more thought or an explanation of sorts.

Arth is a new lounge and fine fine restaurant situated in the by Lanes of Bandra and it is a perfect place for both Friends and Family.
They recommended us to taste their fire wood cooked Mutton Gallouti Kababs and I must say I have never ever tasted such tasty Kababs before.
The speciality being wood fire and the taste it imparts to the dish just can't be expressed in words but has to be devoured.
We also tried their Chicken skewers which were more like Chicken Kababs in green marination.
We also liked their crispy chicken kabab balls that were sucullent meat balls fried to make them crispy from outside and soft and meaty on the inside.
In veg we had cheese corn balls that were a hit among the vegetarians and crispy veg balls that were vegetable stuffed with some spice. We loved them both.
In beverages we tried their Orange juice which was freshly made.
The interiors in the lounge area is a combination of modern interiors and the bar area gives it a hint of old styled warm look.
The staff is great and they have a family fine fine area upstairs which is again well lit with classy decor.

Arth is designed by Gauri Khan and it's truly classy. The interiors leave you spell bound. Tables by the glass walls have the street view.

We visited Arth on Christmas eve 2019. The servers were courteous and service was prompt. Music was non intrusive. Strangely about half the restaurant was empty at 9pm. Someone told me they are known for their late night page 3 parties.

Food wise :

1. Smoked prawns : Five large, juicy prawns. Amazing flavor and super fresh 5/5

2. Charred fish : came with a yogurt based thick semi gravy. Absolutely delicious 5/5

3. Naga mushroom gilawat : somewhat like gilawat kebab. But bland and unappetizing 2.5/5

4. Mutton kakori kebab : melt in the mouth kebabs and semi spicy chutney. Killer combination 4/5

5. Lobster tale : liked the thick gravy accompaniment. It went brilliantly with the Manipuri black rice dosa 4/5

Drinks :
My friends mostly ordered from the Christmas menu.

6. Christmas margarita : nice 4/5

7. Mulled wine : warm wine and brandy with spices. Exotic. My friend said it transported him to Europe in the snowfall 5/5

Overall we had a brilliant Christmas eve dinner at Arth. We paid about 2.5k per person for everything mentioned above. There's a 10% service charge jfyi. Looking forward to visit Arth soon.

Before I write anything... I want to say .. I will be back soon!!!!!

After a long time found option for good Indian food serving NON GRAVY BIRYANI... and wonderfully cooked veggies keeping authenticity and twist at par...

Lovely variety... missed Assameses potato veg as was not available but Dahi ke Kabab/ Jack fruit veg with Jasmine rice/ Anjeer - Potato Veg/ Veg Biryani.. Naan/ Khamiri roti ... was just superb...

Cocktail with Gin and turmeric was refreshing...

Pricing for the QUALITY and portion is appropriate... as always felt this place will be on expensive side .. but was proved wrong..

Will be there soon to try their Chole/ Saraon Ka saag...

Cheers...

The restaurant offers classic punjabi dishes - my favourite being the Nalli Nihari. I reminisce of the Nalli Nihari eaten by me in a small eatery run by a Pakistani in a residential area in Abu Dhabi.

While the food is good, the servings are rather small. The size of the serving of butter chicken was especially appalling. One serving would be good enough for one single adult at best.

The serving suggestions made by the restaurant team waiting t on us were grossly underestimated. The person attending to us suggested 3 servings of taftan and 3 servings of Nalli Nihali would be adequate for a group of 6 (apart from the starters). The 6 pieces of tiny taftan were definitely not adequate. Each Nalli Nihari was medium sized at best.

The biryani was good. We wanted our food as mildly spicy as possible and the restaurant gladly complied.

For a punjabi family who wants a wholesome meal the serving sizes must be improved for them to put this restaurant in their most favoured list.

We chose Arth for our date night and totally loved the experience! This grand fine dining restaurant with all its fancy interiors and ambiance is totally worth the time. We did read a few negative reviews about the food and were a bit cautious after having our stomachs full to our hearts content, we can totally say, it was one great dinner date experience that we had at Arth.

What we had:

Tokri Chaat: This potato basket of goodness filled with bean sprouts, chhole and chutneys is so delicious and a perfect starter to a dinner.

Pearl Potatoes: baby potatoes cooked to perfection and seasoned so brilliantly with all the spices, herbs and chutney topped with yoghurt dip of sorts, this starter too came in with bags full of flavour!

Chholey Kulchey: Chhole full on punjabi style with tangy tamarind chuntey served with amritsari kulchey, this dish came in such fancy plating that it was hard to not like it. But that doesn't take away the fact that it tasted brilliant as well!

Over all, we had a great dining experience at Arth and would totally recommend at least one visit here!

I celebrated my birthday dinner at Arth and had the most wonderful time. The food presentation and taste simply blew me away. Their kitchen is unique as in they do not have gas burners, rather everything is cooked in chulhas or tandoors. This method ensures the dishes are packed with maximum flavour.
We started with the stuffed chicken leg and it was one the best tangri kebabs I have ever eaten. The prawn taco wrapped in a soft mini uttapam was a was a wonderful innovation. For mains we went for a lighter option with the Mamas Mutton curry. Cooked and served in a pressure cooker it brings back memories of the sunday mutton curry cooked at home. The yetti dosa with prawn curry had a certain rustic flavour to it which i quite enjoyed. The only item which was average as per me was the dessert of angoori rabri. Though presented well, taste was ok.
Overall the minimalism of the place impressed me and it may not be to everyone's taste. I will certainly be back to try more of the menu.

I came to know of this after I saw Chef Amninder Sandhu in the Netflix show The Final Table. A friend was visiting from Australia and wanted to try some good Indian food and this was the first name that came to mind. With beautiful interiors designed by Gauri Khan, Arth is an ideal choice for romantic dates, hosting foreign guests /clients, or even just a dinner with friends, showing off Indian cuisine. Service and hospitality was top notch. The food, designed and conceptualized by Chef Amninder Sandhu was beautiful and delicious! All the food here is cooked gas-free, and only using wood fires. This brings a whole new level of taste to the food. While I usually stick to non vegetarian food, the Yoghurt Kebabs are definitely something I'd recommend. We tried the mutton biriyani, as well as the Chef's signature Deomali Mutton with Jasmine Rice. The mutton could not have been made any better in my opinion. This place is definitely one I will be visiting more often in the future and suggesting to everyone I know.

The interiors though classy did not stand out as expected from designer like Gauri Khan the service was polite and prompt we started off with GT cocktail and starter like Dahi ke Kabab and peas Kabab roll. The Cocktail was delicious and the starter was pretty good the complementary papad along with excellent chutney is very also good. For mains we had rajgira roti E and Dahi khameeri roti along with Final table paneer kofta and pearl potato vegetable. We were full to have any deserts. Overall service was prompt in attentive but quantity is quite less just sufficient for 2 persons

Arth

Designed by Gauri Khan, this place embodies chic and classy. It is two floored. The bottom floor has the stark black and white floors and gold interiors, which forms the lounge area along with a bar.

The restaurant is upstairs, after climbing up a spiral staircase. This place has much more subtle interiors, albeit the same theme, and also an open kitchen. The day we went, a live singer sang the most melodies slow songs and set an amazing atmosphere.

The meal started off with a Papad platter and an assortment of chutneys.

a. Paneer Chargrilled

If you are not already in awe of the presentation, let me explain what this dish looked like. It was tender grilled pieces of paneer in Bhoot Jolokia (supposed to be the spiciest Assamese Chilli) marinade. A creamy glaze covered it. The Paneer was stuffed with a garlic and chilli relish. It was topped with micro herbs and served with a carrot salad with sweet lime pieces and a mint chutney.

The Paneer was melt in the mouth, and the marinade was also flavourful, and rich. Although I would have loved a spicier one, the chilli and garlic relish stuffing kind of made up for it. The salad was amazing, especially the sweet lime pieces.

The pieces of paneer were huge, and although the dish looks small, it was an extremely filling starter.

b. Choley Kulche

Small stuffed Amritsari Kulchas were served with a side of chhole. The Kulchas were browned to perfection, and piping hot and crispy, although a little less on salt. The Chhole was absolutely amazing. The chhole chana was extremely soft and high on flavours and colours. With a side of Onions and lemons this makes for a hearty and filling meal the taste of which will linger for hours later as well.

Overall, the ambience was made just perfect by the live singer and the wholesome food put us in an ever better mood.

Food we had mix of veg and non veg. For the veg we had Moringa Potatoes which was ok and Bharleli Mirchi which came accompanied with really tasty beetroot chutney. For the non veg lovers Lal Mitch ka Murgh Tikka and Mutton Kakori Kabab was delicious. In the mains Lasooni Palak was ok ok but the Mutton Mamas was soft and flavoursome. Great combination with steamed rice

We have been thinking of going to this place for a while now but it is so close to our house that I guess we always took it for granted. Finally, on our anniversary we decided to go! The ambience mixed with the live music is a delight. We ordered Kakori kebabs which were one of the best we have had. We also ordered their malai tikka with the egg froth thing but somehow that was not very appealing to us. The dal makhani was good , I say good and not great because I am from Delhi and my dal makhni standard is very high. Ice cream sandwitch was yum but jalebi was average.

The restaurant was far better than my expectations. I had thought it will be all fancy and no taste but the food was tasty. The portion sizes are not too big. The moringa potatoes and mutton kakori kebab is a must try. The bharleli mirchi was tasty but should be spicier. The beet root dip along with it was superb. The lasooni Palak was nice but could have been better. The garlic naan were one of the best I have had . The Lal mirch ka chicken tikka was nice too. Kulfi was very good but baked Gulab jamun was a complete disappointment. The beauty is the restaurant was in the live music. It was amazing to see how the singer could sing non stop and attended to all the song requests the guest made .

Just loved how beautifully & effortlessly @Arth is done under the slick eye of @gaurikhan. This stylish and two storeyed restaurant and bar with plush interiors is very inviting and warm and I love how the restaurant is a blend of traditional ambience with innovation.
They have a huge bar on the ground floor which serves only in the evening. Upper level is open for both lunch & dinner. And yes food is excellent and the dishes here are cooked only on charcoal and wood.

The concept of getting street deliciousness to a fine dining is just perfect. Some of my favs here are channa murgi , tokri chaat, moringa potatoes, litti chokha.

This is a must visit restaurant if you want to experience some really good food with good music.

I happened to sample arth a month ago and have been here thrice already. Their Sunday brunch deserves a social mention with an interesting variety of food and dessert, as does their live music. Very rarely does a singer add to the ambience often disrupting conversations and making you cringe. But the guy at Arth has made me appreciate old Hindi music post hearing his renditions.

The tandoori grill serves some fantastic crab and prawns amongst other starters most of which are fab. Didn't appreciate an entire section just got eggs though ( yesterday's menu)

Main course in the brunch is not half as good as the starters. So we skipped most of it and delved into the desert which was delicious.

The hot jalebi with rabri is outstanding. The 75% chocolate dessert was lovely as was the kulfi faluda.

In a la carte I've had their smoked betki and their pepper calamari both of which were very very good at the restaurant, but disappointed when ordered at home.

I wont lie to you, just like everybody else the thing that made me check out this restaurant was the fact that Gauri Khan Chibber (Shah Rukh Khan's wife) decorated it, ironically i have never visited the place. They had a combo meal (limited offer) on swiggy. Which had:

Seekh kebab
- very very good quality meat, nicely done

Daal makhi
- very creamy, Delhi style, without being oily

Rarrah chaap
- fantastic, loved it, spicy, flavourful and meaty, get this

Mutton biryani
- standard stuff, quantity of meat was less, but otherwise good

Naan
- standard stuff, but reached me warm and not elastic

Angoori rabdi
- wow, the piece de resistance(google it), it is three pieces per piece, in a phylo basket the shape of a birds nets, fantastic, you have to get this

They also gave us these crackers(see pic), not sure which dish they are an accompaniment to.

Packaging: good
Pricing: this limited offer combo is was for 1069 Rs

Plush interiors, dim lighting albeit, not so dark that you cant see the company or the food.  The service is good, attentive without being overbearing. We found the food delightful right from the Naga pork belly and makhmali chicken starter, to mains and dessert. One slight grouse that we did have was the makhmali chicken was to be served with a black truffle pate. We couldn't see or taste it. On checking with our server, we were told a truffle oil was used. The foodies in us felt rather short changed.  Now, any one who knows their food will agree this isn't acceptable in a restaurant of this standing. If it is a cost issue, this place isn't exactly cheap. If it is an availability issue, the menu must be amended to reflect this. The Mutton Deomali was tasty, the meat was cooked well.  The little parcel of rice on the side was flavoursome. The Kaali Gaajar ka halwa made for a fabulous dessert.

Go for the ambience, stay for the food.
The food menu is surprisingly South Indian inspired, which might be off putting to some at first glance. But the food is really unique and definitely worth experimenting with.
We had the Stuffed Morels, Raan, Taftaan bread and Meen Polichattu (Kolkata Bekti). Out of these the Meen was the best and highly recommended!
They also have a very extensive drinks selection, one of the best i’ve seen in town.
The only negative thing about the whole experience was the quantity of food was really small.
But overall, highly recommend.

What an absolutely gorgeous place. Entire place screams opulance and grandeur. Divided in two sections- first floor is a party lounge and second place to dine. For starters we had dosa square and nimona seekh. Both were oustanding. Chola kulcha for main course was just the right amount of yumness we needed to end our meal. A big shoutout to the interiors by gauri khan.

We came here to celebrate a coverted and special - Mother's Day!
They offered us a complimentary glass of wine & dessert that made us glad we selected this new place in town.
To start with, the menu is different and stylish. They have this concept of buffet brunch priced at 1600/- + taxes (without alcohol). A wide variety to select from, from as many as 54 dishes. Each dish was unique and tasty in its own way. The perfect blend of spices and other ingredients made our lunch experience quiet memorable.
We were dismayed by the services that was kind of tad to slow owing to the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon.

Food - 4.5/5
Service - 3/5
Ambience - 3.5/5

It is one of the most beautiful place I have ever been to... Its a 2 storey restaurant in which ground floor is lounge & 1st floor is fine dine. The ambience looks classy & gives you a royal feeling... The concept of how they cook which they have explained is also unique... They use all traditional Indian methods to cook the food items which gives a unique taste to its food. The staff is very friendly & the service is also very prompt. Overall the experience is excellent.

We had the Sunday Brunch Menu & it was amazing. Around 55 items on the menu and u can have it all for just 1600 rupees (per person) unlimited. The menu has few items with unique dishes like the Yam Chat (which was yum) Egg Cheese Toast which is wrapped in a square shaped Dosa, etc. This place is definitely a must try. The decor is simple and elegant nothing unique but the food is yummm and the staff is friendly. Supeeerrr.

Arth. One new place to enjoy delicious ambroisal food and chill around Khar. This place was on my list to visit since quite a long time and I finally went there for dinner this Wednesday. As expected, the restaurant is very lively and was occupied by a lot of couples and families and also groups of women having a gala time with their sisters from another misters. About Arth. Arth is an elegant restaurant, a casual dining located at 15th road of Khar. The restaurant is very elegantly and lavishly designed by famous interior designer Mrs Gauri Khan. The seating is extremely comforting and rich. The chandeliers made the ceilings look royal. The cuisine served at Arth is modern Indian and the menu is curated by Chef Amninder Sandhu. The ingredients used to make the dishes interesting and extraordinary are brought and piled in one kitchen from all over the country. They use many spices from the North East. One more thing worth mentioning is Arth has a completely gasless kitchen. All the food served is cooked over charcoal. I am not only stating this in a line, but I was personally interested to go and see the kitchen and I saw it live. Chef Navjot gave us his valuable time and showed us the kitchen and some kebab making processes and it was indeed a delight. The kitchen was pretty neat and hygienic. The manager Mr Ajay and staff Mr Ranjan guided us with the menu as per our preferences. Arth also has live music everyday that made our evening a little more enjoyable. We were welcomed with a welcome drink which is a shot consisting beetroot, mustard seeds, black carrot. What we Drank? LONG ISLAY ICED TEA This is a little different from the regular iced tea. It has a smoky twist. CHAMOLEONE FIZZ A non alcoholic drink that changes it's color because of flavoured ice cubes and hence the name. What we Ate? STARTERS For starters, we had just 1 piece of each starter with the intention of not wasting food. PANEER CHARGRILLED This is a circular piece of paneer which had a layer of fennel seed paste and topped with cream. RHODODENDRON SEEKH A mixture of carrot and beet finely and smoothly made and flavoured with spices. Consistency was smooth and almost like "melting in your mouth" KURKURI ARBI This was fried arbi (colacasia). I'm used to eating fried arbi only on days I fast. Here It was like a feast as the arbi piece was topped with cranberries and various sauces. CHICKEN CHAAP Leg piece served with salad and chicken was well marinated with green paste and then tandoored. Perfect appetiser for those sipping Whiskey. Typically Punjabi stuff. CHICKEN MAKHMALI TRUFFLE This was kind of sophisticated and extravagant. A soft piece of chicken topped with egg white foam. It has a layer of cream and cheese. Just one word "Delicious" MAINS BEEH DODAH This dish had a base of fenugreek cooked in garlic prominently and topped with fried lotus stem strips. They were crisp and you're supposed to have this with Jowar roti. THE CLASSIC What comes to your mind when I say "Punjabi or North Indian Dinner?" Butterrr Chickennn ! Hope you guessed it right. As the name says, butter chicken is classic dinner and also comfort dinner. Atleast for me. GRAND TRUNK ROAD This was something I kinda liked. Mixture of chhole and chicken. What else do you need then? This is orgasmic. It is served with onion stuffed parathas. SARSO KA SAAG Sarso daa saag vich makke di roti and gurr. Oho ! Felt homely having this as my mom makes it in December and I didn't know I would get a chance to eat it again within 3 months. lovely ! DESSERT KALI GAJAR KA HALWA Everybody has had gajal ka halwa. chef brings a twist and at Arth you will find Kali gajar ka halwa. Delectable dessert. Ghee soaked brought the sheen in it and chopped pistachios with cream. Must have ! Arth was beautiful. Food & service & interiors & music everything was good. When around Khar and looking for a fine dine experience, you must visit this place.

Visited this place few weeks ago, It is divided in 2 floors and a frequent place for B-town gatherings. Interior being done by Gauri Khan is probably one of the many reasons for this place's popularity. Other main attraction is only use of charcoal and wood fired stove (Angeethi). Coming to interior, It definitely gives you a Royal vibe(Probably has to do more with the use of Golden color), Yet it's not kind of over the top. Simple yet brilliant that's what i can say. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Seating arrangement is as classy as it can get. Coming to food, We were welcomed with bit-root based drink. Served in a shot glass, Which lets you know exactly how your experience is going to be. Complimentary Fried Papad(Fryums) were the first thing to arrive to eat, Served with Green chutney and garlic chutney. Next item was "Morrels Stuffed". For this particular dish, Mushrooms are imported from Jammu, stuffed with minced walnuts and served on nachni/ragi. This was by far the best mushroom dish i had ever had. Unfortunately quantity wise felt it was less, But i guess this place is not a budget friendly place but a Rich fine dine experience kind of place. Followed it up with "Paneer Chargrilled". Best part is the juicy pieces of paneer, They use bhut jalokia in this dish which is the spiciest indian chilli. But it is a bit diluted version, So you can eat it without being worried. Very perfect balance of spice and tasted delicious. Coming to main course, We had "Sarson da Saag and Makai di Roti". An authentic punjabi dish, Served with onions and gud (Which was my most favorite from this dish :) ). Well Saag and Makai ki roti were equally delicious. Also had one of the best "Dal Makhni" ever. Very rich in flavour and creamy, Loved the taste of it. In rice, We had "Kabuli Pulao". Fragrant basmati rice with dryfruits served with garlic based raita. Again the best pulao ever had and raita was spot on as a companion to this dish. Finished our meal with few desserts, One was "Malai Kulfi". For this they bring there cart at your table which contains everything they offer on the kulfi. You have an option of having falooda poured over your kulfi and have some dryfruits to go on it. Amazing dessert. But wait there was another dessert which was way more yummier than this one. (Humm, Amazing se bhi jyada Yummier) Yes, It was my favorite dessert with a slight variation. "Kali Gajar Ka Halwa", Didn't knew that Black carrot even existed before this visit. We were told that it is imported (As far as i remember "Aasam"). This was the best Gajar Halwa i had ever had. We even joked if we are around Khar, we would come and visit this place only to have this again. MUST TRY DISH. Also had couple of cocktails, One being "One True Pair" (Only because it was dedicated to SRK). Wasn't my kind of drink though. Other one i tried was "Arth Julep", Again not for me. Service was quick, Thought gas-less kitchen would take more time (Which was not the case ++++). Recommended Dishes :- Morrels Stuffed, Dal Makhni, Kabuli Pulao, Kali Gajar Ka Halwa & "O.T.P. Cocktail (Don't ask me why :) )".

Arth!!!!!!! Is an amazing combination of artful interiors complimented by artistic food presentation. This is place based in the posh locality of Linking Road at Khar. The interiors here are elegantly crafted, giving this place an ultra luxurious touch. The seating arrangement has been beautifully set with comfortable couch and round sofas. The huge chandeliers hanging from the ceiling is captivating. They categorized this place in 2 sections. On the lower floor is the lounge open to everyone post sunset. The first floor has a beautifully designed fine dine section with a live music organized in the evening. The dim pleasant lights just adds to the romantic dinner mood. But I guess, this place looks more rich during the day time. Our food runner Gautam was very attentive to take care of everything that required to make our experience delightful. We just relied on his suggestions for cocktails, mocktails and food. This place does not use gas, they serve charcoal cooked food which enhances the aroma of the food. Also the ingredients used here are imported from different parts of the country, just to give it an original touch. We started off with the complimentary fryums that came with the chutneys. Ordered for O.T.P(One true pair), this is a mild gin based cocktail with their made tonic to add the flavour. From the mocktail, we tried Spiced Hibiscus. This one as the name suggests is a tangy and spicy refreshing drink with a base of Cranberry and lemon.(recommended) Also tried Tillicherry Piper, this was real spiced up drink with ginger and blackpepper leaving the end notes. Tried their Mutton Kakori Kebab, meat lovers this is a must try!!!!!! Succulent mutton kebabs just melts in your mouth, super yum!!!!!!!! Chicken Makhmali Truffled was another showstopper appetizer that I loved, tender kebab was topped with beaten egg white.(Recommended) From the mains, we had Fish Net. This is freshly cooked pomfret which is served with Ghavne(mangaloreans mein say it is a neer dosa) One should try their signature dish, Deomali- a very well presented dish. It is a mutton smoked in a Bamboo which is served with a leaf wrapped jasmine rice. This is so rich in flavours and so aromatic that I could have finished one more set of it. From Desserts, we had Kaali Gaajar ka Halwa, yes Black carrot. This comes from Uttar Pradesh, deliciously cooked halwa was topped with Rabdi and Pistachios!!!!!(TRY IT) Overall, the place ideal for a romantic dinner with your loved ones. Bit pricey but considering what they got to serve, this place makes a pleasant visit!!!!!!

Arth is the modern Indian restaurant and bar located in Khar! Right from the entrance to the lounge area on ground floor to fine dine area on 1st level, the interiors are exquisite, stylish, lavish and stand apart from any restaurant that you can go to in Mumbai! On a Monday night, the restaurant was buzzing. Food at Arth is prepared in the traditional way where lot of food is cooked on charcoal and they believe in slow cooked food which always taste better. We started our meal with a complimentary welcome drink "Kanji" made of beetroot, black carrot and mustard as palate cleanser. Later we were given a Khichya Platter with Mint & Chilli Garlic Chutney. We ordered for few mocktails - Spiced Hibiscus made of Hibiscus, Cranberry and lemon and Berry Without made of Berry Puree, Egg White and Lemon. Both drinks were really nice, but amongst the two, I would go for Berry Without, it's refreshing! Post this, we ordered for Arth Veg Thaal and a huge big Thaal was placed before us! We started with Rhododendron Seekh made of Pomegranate, Beetroot, Yoghurt and Mint followed by Paneer Chargrilled. Paneer was very tasty, fresh and nicely cooked but little spicy. But the clear favorite was the unique Rhododendron Seekh - must try! For mains, we got Paneer Wayanad, Charcoal Bharta, Lasooni Palak and Dal Makhani! Believe you me, Charcoal Bharta is to die for! Smoky flavour of the Baigan Bharta is outstanding. I am not a big fan of Palak, but when I tried the Lasooni Palak, it was brilliant. Paneer Wayanad was good too. Amongst Indian breads, we got a basket full of Pataki Naan, Rogani Roti and Tandoori Roti. Don't miss out on the Rogani Roti, simply amazing. Kabuli Pulao was nice too, it had a very nice aroma as it had fragrant Basmati Rice sprinkled with dry fruits. This was accompanied with Burhani Raita and Kachumbar. For desserts we got Jalebi Rabdi - Jalebi which was hot, thin and crispy topped with rich creamy Rabdi, heavenly! But what stole the show for me, was the Kulfi. The way it was presented in a traditional way. Kulfi wala comes to your table ringing the bell and asks for your preferred flavour. I went for Malai, topped with Rabdi, Dry Fruits and Rose Petal. After mint - Thandai Magai Paan was epic, especially after such a sumptuous meal and an ardent Paan lover! All-in-all, a must try fine dine restaurant and an experience you wouldn't want to miss out with your near and dear loved ones. Not to forget, there was Live Music to add to this amazing food and exquisite ambience. A perfect collection of new and old romantic Hindi songs sung really well by the singer/artist, just made my evening memorable!

Arth is a classy fine-dine restaurant and has India's first completely gas-free kitchen helmed by national award winning chef Amninder Sandhu and interiors designed by Gauri Khan. They use traditional methods of cooking like charcoal and wood fires, and hot sand pits for slow cooking. Chef has travelled and sourced the ingredients from the four corners of India. Hence, you'll find some interesting ingredients in your food, some of which you'd have never tasted before like the pearl potatoes sourced from Assam which were the size of peas! We called for a Non Vegetarian Thaal and all the dishes on it were just perfect! Here's everything that we were served- Aam Panna: The perfect welcome drink. Refreshing! Appetizers Mutton Kakori Kebab: The softest mutton kebabs that were oh so delicious. They were garnished with red radish and red chilli and garlic chutney. Chicken Silbatta Khatai Kebab: Another classic appetizer that was so juicy and delicious in each bite, literally melted in the mouth. Mains Butter Chicken: The classic chicken dish and every non vegetarian's favourite! They made it just right with tender, juicy pieces of chicken in buttery gravy. Pressure Cooked Mutton: This would remind you of the flavourful taste of home cooked mutton. The mutton chunks were really soft and juicy. Lasooni Palak: One of the best spinach dishes I've had. Cooked with garlic. Dal Makhani: They make the creamiest dal makhani topped with lots of butter. Loved the smoky charcoal flavour. Breads Paraki Naan: Soft fluffy naan with onion and sesame seeds. Rogani Roti: Infused with saffron and ghee. Tandoori Roti: Whole wheat roti Raan Biryani: The rice was so aromatic, we could taste the biryani before even having it. The goat leg meat was tender and cooked well. Loved it! Desserts Jalebi Rabdi: The rabdi here is to die for. Pair it with crispy jalebi and you're in food heaven! Kulfi: They have varieties like mango, pistachio, roasted almond and malai kulfi that they make right infront of you. I'd recommend the pistachio kulfi. Thandai Maghai Paan: Perfect end to the perfect meal! Drinks In cocktails, we had ordered O.T.P (One True Pair) named after SRK and Gauri, Berry Berry, Old Smoky and Chill your Chai. I'd recommend you to order O.T.P. It was a combination of homemade tonic cordial, Carrot sorbet and Gin. Our evening was made all the more perfect by the presence of a soulful singer who was crooning some melodious songs. Totally fell in love with his voice. The staff was really attentive and had good knowledge about all the dishes. The interiors are grand, of course being designed by Gauri Khan they reflect her classy taste. I totally loved my experience here and would visit again for sure.

We had seen Amninder Sandhu in Netflix's The Final Table and when our plans included a short trip to Mumbai, it struck us that her restaurant is also in Mumbai. We chose Arth to be our first Indian tasting menu experience and we were glad we did. The food was 5 stars - the aromas and the flavours were intriguing and wonderful. Highlight for me was the mutton deomali and gosht ka halwa. Best mutton I've ever had, and the halwa was a novelty. Reasons for giving 4 stars- 1. There were a few items in the vegetarian tasting menu that my wife didn't find as good. 2. The plating could have been better 3. I have come to expect servers serving tasting menus to explain the dishes. While the servers were knowledgeable, they didn't explain the dishes upfront.

With interiors by none other than Queen Khan, Mrs. Gauri ShahRukh Khan herself, Arth is a fine dining restaurant that adds new dimensions to one's experience. With the use of charcoal to incorporate flavours in the food to experimenting with cuisines that blend one's palate, Chef Amninder Sindhu has raised the bar in the culinary domain.

The fandom for Shahrukh Khan is a religion that needs no introduction. I have been an ardent follower of the Khans from times immemorial. To strictly speak for the lady of the moment, Gauri Khan is so much more than a star wife; supremely talented & passionate for her art, her work. Arth is a spitting image of everything that she stands for - finesse & sophistication. Just like the graceful poise of Gauri, Arth is discreet in its opulence. The luxe decor with its 'brighter-than-thou- future' diamond installations is obviously the talking point of this spacious eating house. It is definitely not suited for your instantaneous friday cheap thrill but rather, the lunch/dinner you plan elaborately with love, for a special few. Its gas-free charcoal cooking takes you back to the fine savoury of the exotic ingredients that are sourced from in and around the cuisine rich cities of India. Morrels : Absolutely surprising package! Morel mushrooms are unique and found mostly only in Valleys of Kashmir. Unique texture and taste made it perfect appetizer of the eve! Paneer chargrilled : Marinated with one of the spiciest chillies in the world which gives it a perfectly balanced taste. #highlyrecommended Kalimpong cheese : Combination of Broccoli and cheese has become my new favourite so I might be biased here but this has been my favourite dish from all the appetizers! A little heavy on the pocket, Arth is an every-penny-worthy escapade you deserve once in a while. Be it the chulha-cooking or its exclusive table d'hote, Arth should surely be your must-experience sojourn in Mumbai.

What we had: Tokri Chaat: This potato basket of goodness filled with bean sprouts, chhole and chutneys is so delicious and a perfect starter to a dinner.

Arth had been amongst the list of top place which were must visit and yesterday we decided to give it a try ans taste their non veg specialities. Its situated just 5 mins away from linking road and has a parking space available which is great considering we usually dont get parking available in khar area. The entrance was grand and with wooden doors and the ambiance is Wow with beautiful chandeliers on top and lights which was amazing. It has 2 section ground and first floor, and the bar was perfectly designed. We started off by ordering cocktails and to our suprise we flund the kitchen used charcoal to cook all the meals so we were super excited Long islay iced tea Islay whiskey smoked with lemon and cola was amazing ,its a must try at Arth Old smoky Unique drink which was a blend of fine scotch whiskey , lapsang, souchong, with cherry wook smoke which was amazing.A must try if you are whiskey lover Food Dal makhani The dal makhani was delicious, and i personally highly recommend guys to try this dish.Dal was slow cooked on charcoal for hours which resulted into a creamy texture. Roti/Naan/Steam rice The roti was quite soft so was the naam and went well with dal makhani, as well as the steam rice served was good. Kakuri Arbi Signature dish which was a combination of fried vegetable topped with chutney . Verdict: Food quality is top notch , and especially we loved dal makhani, service was top notch, yes the prepartion of dishes does take longer than usual but thats the usp of this place as all the food cooked on charcoal tasts amazing.Happy hogging

Arth, which is the Hindi word for meaning, is a seven month old fine dine resturant located in the heart of Bandra Khar, which is today the epicentre of some really awesome new places. Arth is spread across two floors, with an beautifully aesthetic lounge on the ground floor and the fine dine resturant on the first floor. Both have bars, with the lounge oviously having the larger bar. The lounger opens on post 7.30pm while the restaurant is open for both Lunch and Dinner. Weekends have restrictions for stag entry at the lounge. The uniqueness of Arth comes from the fact that their entire menu is made without the use of gas. It uses the traditional form of cooking using charcoals , wood fire and hot sand that infuse the dishes with a unique taste. The restaurant has an open kitchen where you get to enjoy watching as the chefs churn out one delicacy after the other. Though the menu is limited, it's on point. Our Recommendations Arth Thal Spices Hibiscus Mocktail Flower Baby Mocktail - Highly recommended. Kalimpong Cheese Chargrilled Paneer Chargrilled Naga Wild Mushroom Gilawat Charcoal Bharta Lasooni Palak Avial Beeh Dodahp Angoori Randi Jalebi Randi Malai Kulfi The meal started off with their welcome drink made with beetroot and black carrots. Next up was the "Khichiya" a type of papad quite popular with Gujarati's. The Khichiya came served with two spicy dips, a mint dip and a chilly garlic dip with sesame oil. For Appetizers, we choose the Morrels Stuffed and Kalimpong Cheese Chargrilled. The Morrels Stuffed were delicious. The morrels mushrooms is sourced from Kashmir, and is arguable the most expensive Indian Mushrooms. They were well spiced and stuffed with minced walnuts, that balanced the spiciness out. h. The Kalimpong cheese stuffed broccoli was another mouther watering dish which has so many flavours that it had our taste buds dancing. We then tried the Beeh Dodah and the Avial. The Beeh Dodah was the Lotus Stems served with Joear Roti and the Avail was their Palak Dosa. The Palak Dosa was very good and we liked the Beeh Dodah too. We also ordered the Arth Thal, the traditional Indian Thali. With a fixed menu, the Thal is priced at 1400, and is unlimited. The appetizer in the Thal were Paneer Chargrilled ( made with the famous bhoot jolokia and corriander) and the Naga Wild Mushroom Gilawat. The Paneer wasn't as spicy as we expected but again both the dishes were just outstanding. Soft and bursting with flavours. In the mains, the Thal had Lasooni Palak, Charcoal Bharta (Baigan Bharta), Dal Makhani, Wayand Pepper ( Paneer Kalimirch). Served with Naan, Rogani Roti and Tandoori Roti, it was all we could ask for. Accompanying all this was Pulao, Bhurani Raita and kachumbar ( Salad). After a fabulous meal, the desserts just blew us away. Angoori Rabdi, Jalebi Rabdi and Kulfi. Wow wow wow. The malai kulfi was the best of the three kulfi's we had. Last, not the least, was the Thanda Paan with Thandai. The happy ending you would want to your meal 💖 Overall this is a great place. Service was good and prices seemed quite decent for a fine dine. Comes highly recommend by us

We randomly encounter this restaurant on the way to the hotel and wanted to give it a try the next day! Simply ... Go for it!!! Love the atmosphere, the food. We went for the veg and the non veg menu. It is apparently owned by a Bollywood star , anyway, someone who has good taste! Though the 10 course menu was a lot! Just so you know ;)
