With our curiosity to see and experience new things, we are in a constant search of visiting new places, trying different cuisines and exploring diverse culture. We often tend to search miles away though everything is near us. The experience of travel is not defined by the distance you cover but the immense joy and perspective it brings during the journey. Today, I set out myself in our very own town aamchi mumbai to discover a new place ‘The Yoga House’. This place is located in the hustle and bustle of Carter Road and you will be surprised to see the Portuguese style architecture in a cafe. Yes, in a way I had anticipated this knowing it is located in Bandra. The set up and ambience was just perfect and it was peaceful because I was the only one sitting there with my Hot Chocolate and Caffeine in the second round. On the ground floor you will see fitness enthusiasts in Yoga Classes and the cafe is on second floor.
So to have some Sanity in life do visit this place #mumbai #mumbaicafe #theyogahouse
Burgers aren't always unhealthy. A prime example is the Quinoa Burger from The Yoga house, Bandra. All the goodness without any of the guilt 🍔

Just take a step in here and you’ll forget that you’re anywhere in Mumbai. It’s so calm and serene that you can sit here for hours on end.😌
The first floor has yoga sessions and the seating is then on the floors above. The vibe is very homely and Indian- with a lot of books stacked on their bookshelf themed around Indian culture.
The food is tasty and SO good for you, with a lot of vegan and gluten free options available. The names in the menu stand out and so does the quality of food served.
What we had:
🧘🏻♀️ Salad - Zoodles with Muhammara (3/5)
🧘🏻♀️ Sandwich - I am Alkalizing (4/5)
🧘🏻♀️ The Yoga House Khichadi (5/5)
🧘🏻♀️ Oatmeal and Raisinn cookie (3.5/5)
🧘🏻♀️ Carrot Cake (5/5)
p.s This is one of the rare spots where you can hear the birds chirp instead of the cars honk and I love it!
The place has its own calm , really peaceful , high quality food , must visit❤️
They have a healthy twist in the form of grease-free burgers and excellent desserts that are tastefully gratifying to your taste buds as well as your gut. Visit alone or in a group, the whole place has a peaceful vibe with people enjoying the quiet in every nook and corner. Try out their Carrot Cake to change your opinion about Nutritious Cakes.
The Yoga House occupies a quirky three story building, nestled amongst trees in the quiet suburb of Bandra. A popular destination amongst yoga practitioners in the city, the property also hosts a charming rooftop cafe, set over several mezzanine levels.
With a vision to promote a conscious lifestyle through the practice of yoga and healthy food, the cafe serves an abundance of dishes (continental) inspired by a traditional Ayurvedic diet. We have a wide variety of gluten-free, vegan friendly and plant based menu items.
All produce used in the cafe is sourced from Organic Certified farms and the quality is thoroughly tested to ensure farm freshness on every plate!
In the studio, The Yoga House prides itself on providing exceptionally high standards of teaching to students of all ability levels, with a regular weekly schedule offering Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar Inspired and Vinyasa flow classes - 7 days a week.
Quite much like its name, it has 2 floors, the upper section is more serene and calm. You can read books or catch up
with friends or just sip your coffee looking at the the grenery around, and no one would interrupt
your indulgence!

Yoga house has my heart❤️
Visited the Yoga House a few days ago with a friend. The ambience is awesome. Tried the Avocado Toast, the Fig Salad and the Moroccan Sald. Food was pretty good. Will visit again.
it was a truly enjoyable experience, the food was absolutely 😋 and definitely worth the price, the service is chilled out & lax. The ambiance is the best aspect as it feels like a cozy wooden house amidst the trees.
Great ambience, neat and tidy, little bit pricy but worth it. Located in a very peaceful atmosphere.
Pricey food but great experience! We loved the Cosy ambience and did feel the calm. The taste was kept simple yet it was flavorful! We ordered 3 dishes as the portion size was bit small. Loved the risotto and Avocado toast.
Cost us about ₹1000/person
Hidden gem. Food is bit pricey but ambience is bestttt. If you need peace then this place is for you.
The health and fitness cafe. I wish there were more such places in town. What an ambience. The Colors, the seating, the atmosphere, and more importantly the food. It has all the comfort vibe and positive energy going around.
The sandwiches here are so healthy and has perfect calorie intake one needs. Don’t forget to get the coconut water in the beginning.
Visited the cafe, great good. Extremely fresh and tasty. Has a lot of healthy, organic options. Good place to have a weekend breakfast or meal. The portion sizes were slightly smaller than what we were used to. But deliciously made. Good ambience with open and floor seating.
A pleasant place with refreshing meals! It’s more like a house rather than a typical cafe. They know to blend healthy and tasty food. Just the exact place to sit back and relax!
Once again yoga house never disappoints. I have been here few times now... Its really peaceful and positive place to calm your mood... its best for going and chilling with few friends and enjoying light healthy snacks....
Avacado Toast is yum here...
Had a lovely visit a couple of weeks ago and have been craving the very vegan friendly food and lovely atmosphere ever since.
The cafe is upstairs and we were lucky enough to get the top balcony seat which is a real treat. Cushions to sit on, low tables. Just lovely.
They don't take reservations which is worth noting.
I had the 'fulfilled' bowl with tofu, rice and veg. Followed by fruit bowl. And just because, Ladoo and chai to finish. So fresh, tasty and such a calm place to spend the afternoon.
The healthy ladoo is something I need to replicate now I'm back at home in the UK. In 💚!
Well what to say the best place I have ever been to. comfortable place to spend hours the food is also decent but a bit pricey but worth everything.
The Yoga house Cafe
The Yoga House Cafe is an amazing combination of preserving pre vedic Indian ancient wisdom of Yoga and its health benefits along with modern chic sophisticated ambience and organic concious food. It serves some cutting edge macrobiotic recipes and ancient dietary wisdom and traditions.
When I entered this bright green Nargis Villa I started to have second thoughts because the wooden stairs which led to the cafe felt like may be I am in a wrong place. I reached a Yoga Classroom which is on the 1st floor and then it looked quite interesting. And then this cafe is located on the 2nd floor near Rizvi College Cater Road Bandra West. The interiors look and feel like you are relaxing somewhere in Goa. The colour combination of the interiors is very soothing and you will see all beautiful green plants everywhere. I took the best spot in the cafe which is the terrace with a nice glass rooftop. Here you are supposed to remove your footwear.
Now coming to the Food it was served in brass vessel which again has several health benefits.
This is what I tried
- I AM INDULGING Capri Tartine Rs 325
3*/5
Grilled Mozzarella, black olives, cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic bread and pepper
The Tartine was nice and fresh with roasted sesame seeds and the flavour was good but I personally didn't find this extraordinary as it could have been more cheezy and I didn't get any taste of the garlic bread. Too expensive for the taste.
- The Miracle Rs 255
5*/5
Apple ,Carrot and Beetroot juice
Beautiful colour and amazing taste loved it. Definitely felt like it was some kind of a magic portion.
- Cappuccino Rs 165
5*/5
The Yoga house blend served with delicious jaggery extremely refreshing
So I was here with a friend around 4 pm and I left this place around 8:30 pm which clearly gives this one indication that this place has a very comfortable and welcoming environment. We worked here for few hours without any disturbance and if you love books there are some great books on the shelf which you can pick up and read.
*Note: The water served is bottled water for Rs 135.
