Review Pop Tate's - Mumbai

I have been a frequent visitor here since 2006 and this place never fails to disappoint. It is one of the best and economical pubs in Mulund. The happy hours have some really good offers and the food options are huge (especially from the time they have started serving UT orders here). A must visit if you have never tried.

So pop tates is now been clubbed with the urban tadka into a big unified place. Good thing is they serve both the menus and they now have happy hour in the evening from 7-10 as well. The ambience and music is more on Pop Tate’s style with mix of Hollywood and Bollywood. Food is decent and service is very nice. I have been going here since 2013 and it never disappoints, having a lot of family this time ( urban tadka crowd ) actually helped as it had a nice comfortable vibe to the entire place. Good job and keep it up !

Cool atmosphere with a feeling of pub for loud music...tried chicken munchow soup and it's really nice...the chicken wings in barbecue sauce is also good and tried a veg platter was also good to have

Many times I visited this place..we always order Oriental chicken sizzler which is best ever sizzler...bt this time we tried cheese chicken sizzler,it was thick chicken base with loaded cheese..plzz don't try it.

This outlet of poptates is very lively. Great ambience. Good food. Music was good. The only thing which was not that great was the table which was allotted to us had a speaker directly above it. And the music was so loud. We were not able to hear each other also. Other than that lives up to the hype of Pop Tate’s. If there would have been a dance floor. It would have been great I went on a weekday and still almost whole restaurant was filled for dinner. R Mall is now only famous for these trending restaurants and movie theatre.

My favorite restaurant since it is the first poptate I have been in my life. This place has a different vibe altogether. For drinks, they have smiley hours which have 1+1 offer till 7:27 pm and post that they have 2+1 offers on selected drinks till 10:30. Pizza, sizzler, pasta and any appetizers, you name anything and they will serve you well. Best Poptates of Mumbai, I would say 😃

Nice ambiance with good background music. Food is delicious. They have happy hour discounts on drinks. Good collection of cocktails too. Service is incredible. At night time they even arrange for a sort of dance floor too. It's spacious and good for lunch or dinner with family or friends.

I visited "Pop Tate's R Mall Mulund" last year for my own marriage party which I gave to my office staff.I must say this is a very nice place for couples, friends as well as office staff. They have a nice ambience with nice music.For drinks, they have smiley hours which have 1+1 offer till 7:30 pm and post that they have 2+1 offers on selected drinks till 10:30. The place is good for drinks, but regarding the snacks and foods, the rates are high and quantity is less.Yet they managed to keep the good quality and taste which is still the best thing.This place is having smoking zones too.R mall is famous for such food restaurants and theaters.

Latest Update: They have reduced the quantity and increased the price. Place is not for the family crowd. Good Place to Hang out with friends and have lovely time. Nice place to watch matches. Food is good. They provide 15% corporate discount too, you have to carry icard for the same. Must try their cheese garlic bread.

Loved the food over here. They use less salt in all their food item, so be aware about it. But their signature dis, jalebi-rabdi, it doesn't has that taste anymore. The jalebis were not fried properly. Rest a good place to chill as we could sit here for almost 4-5 hrs..

This poptate's outlet is located on 3rd floor inside R mall, mulund. This poptate's outlet is a very good place to hangout with friends and family. The ambiance gives a positive vibes with good music but space is quite congested for seating. The food quality is good and the staff members are also co-operative and people-friendly. would recommend to go on weekends and enjoy happy hours with good music.

Staff Dhaneswar is very cool and provided a great service indeed. Food is extremely delicious and yummy.

This lockdown took away my favourite restaurant and now with this unlock phase, I was excited and scared as well to order my regulars but I just HAD TO. I was being assisted by Mr.Ashwin and my god, he was the sweetest, kindest and the most helpful manager I have ever come across. I was very particular about the order and he kept everything in mind and everything, right from the quantity to food to service was perfect. I am so grateful to Mr.Ashwin and the entire team.

The pepper blasted chicken was yummm!!!!The peri peri chicken pizza was tasty but needed more cheese and was expensive as per the size. The peri per cheese sticks was tasty but felt like it was oven heated and not fresh.

Pepper blasted chicken is my all time favourite, it's Yumm. The peri peri cheese stick was good but it felt like it was not fresh and just oven heated. The chicken peri peri pizza tastes good but it's way too expensive and less cheese.

The best place for friends 🙂<br/>Pop Tate's with its brightly-painted and spacious interiors, and eclectic mix of dishes which include very Indianised burgers and pizzas, is quite a popular youth hangout. Its Saki Naka outlet is frequented by office folks too while outlets such as Kurla Market City have a younger audience. With dishes such as Amritsari kulcha and egg burjee pizzas they seem to be unabashed in their offer of desi 'Continental'. The sizzlers are pretty popular here.

OMG is almost 3 times the quantity of the regular ones, so if you’re visiting in a group, this would be a better choice. <br/>We were 8 of us, so ordered bbq wings. The portions were more than enough. <br/><br/>Pepper blasted chicken<br/>This one is the chef’s special, completely worth it. The sauce in which the chicken was tossed was brilliant!!<br/><br/>Pepper wine chicken<br/>This one was below average. It was just boiled chicken tossed in black pepper and bell peppers. The taste of wine was absent or very less maybe. <br/><br/>Basa fish fingers<br/>This is my all time favourite dish and I order it at almost every restaurant I visit. <br/>But this one was one of the best. The tartar sauce is also palatable!!<br/><br/>Fish tikka<br/>Though the fish was mouth watering and fresh, the masalas were overpowering, so it was tasting as if the salt was more. <br/><br/>MAIN COURSE <br/><br/>NON VEG <br/><br/>chicken tikka biryani <br/>The portions were slightly on the lesser side. Also the chicken tikka was not tasting like tikka, it was not made in the tandoor, but just marinated and cooked. <br/><br/>SIZZLERS<br/>All the sizzlers are served with rice/noodles, creamy corn, stuffed capsicum, sautéed veggies and fries with choice of sauce.<br/><br/>Ooola la <br/>This is one of the best in the lot. The chicken is stuffed with mushrooms and spinach, topped with melted cheese!!! Finger licking good!!<br/><br/>Grilled chicken and chicken steak<br/>Both have a big piece of perfectly grilled chicken breast on the top. The chicken is tender and juicy, very tempting!!<br/><br/>Chicken tikka<br/>This one is chicken tikka served in makhni sauce, tastes amazing. <br/><br/>Chicken shaslyk<br/>This is chicken served in shaslyk sauce, one of the best, the taste of this sauce is luscious!!<br/><br/>Meaty mixed grill<br/>It has prawns, tikkas, fish, seekh kebabs, sausages and pepperoni. It is completely worth to go for this one if you’re fond of seafood. <br/><br/>—-——*———*————<br/><br/>Alfredo pasta<br/>This one was pretty basic. Could have been creamier. <br/><br/>I’ve tried many pizzas like chicken tikka and peri peri chicken, but meat overload was the best. <br/><br/>Mocktails <br/><br/>After glow<br/><br/>It is a mocktail made from orange, cranberry and pineapple juice. Their flavours were mixed perfectly and the taste was stunning<br/><br/>Others worth a try are sun breeze and red monsoon. <br/><br/>Desserts <br/><br/>Sizzling brownie <br/>It is more like a mandatory thing to order brownie in the end!! Pop Tate’s is an amazing place to hangout with friends or enjoy a cricket watch while having your favorite sizzler. The decor is beautifully done. Service is little slow however the food is great. I had ordered their pepper blasted chicken , olala sizzler , sizzling brownnie and miami mocktail. Pepper blasted chicken was tasty . Olala sizzler was very good but the chicken was little dry. Basically it’s chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese and tossed in a mexican spicy sauce. The portion size is good. Brownie is on point and the mocktail was okay. If you are planing to visit pop Tate’s on weekend for dinner then please be prepared to wait in long queue . Their queue is never ending.

Mr.Sachin ( Manager) and Sukanto (Captain) are an asset to this company here...very hospitable...suggested yummy starters..Sachin escorted me to the dessert display fridge and explained me each and every dessert .....I loved the Berry Velvet god bless them both...The chef Mr Mishra cooked execellent started with appealing presentation..All these guys are awesome and asset to the brand...THANKS GUYS FOR HOSPITALITY...KUDOS...

Okay so I had been to Poptates,R mall,mulund.( West) yesterday i.e. 10th Feb for a casual Birthday dinner! Ordered for a few dishes including Afrikano Paneer as it used to be one of my favourite dishes at Poptates. However, the server served us Afrikano Chicken instead of Paneer and we were unaware about the same. I served myself some of it and had a bite also and immediately understood there is some issue and it isn't paneer. I asked the server and he told me it's Chicken and not Paneer. He called the waiter who took my order and checked that the punched dish was Chicken and not Paneer. The person who took my order came to the table. I told him you made me eat Chicken wherein I'm a pure Vegetarian and all he did was laugh and say Sorry! I mean seriously he had the guts to laugh on my face! No concern and care about someone's religious sentiments. And the only thing manger of the restaurant was doing was trying to salvage me and not speak in front of the customers sitting in the restaurant. I mean i don't know what kind of service was this. The staff was completely new and untrained. No courtesy, no respect for the customer's religious sentiments and on top of that they were actually laughing on the face for making such a mistake. It just feels so terrible to have eaten that! The worst experience ever! Never stepping in at Poptates again!

I ordered large chicken tikka pizza .The pizza was worst. Cheese did not have a pull and tasted really basic. They did not serve any oregano and only 1 chilli flakes packet that's it. I would say it tasted like a street pizza. Soo it's not worth the prize. I would not recommend this.

Pop Tate’s MULUND is like 2nd home for me with their lovely buffalo chicken wings and salsa prawns 🍤 Their pizzas and sizzlers are drool worthy and happy hours adds extra shine to what you eat..Perfect place to party with friends or family and make that special occasion even more special..Try their butter chicken curry with rice and it is like homemade stuff ..really good...So many years and you have still not lost the magic👏👏

Service overall was good but like to bring to ur notice that servers need to be more humble. One Sandesh was impolite while telling us to move to smaller table. We were 2 ladies and were treated as if we are not welcome in the restuarant on a friday.. though there were enough empty tables... you could arrange to have someone show the table instead of us selecting one. This has left a bad experience for us.. Sad to know such reputated restuarant has such people serving customers.

The staff over here is courteous. The food specially the one we ordered pizza was 👌 yummy .. I always recommend people going to pop Tate's to have pizza over here as you would never get disappointed. Overall the outing out with friends was awesome in Pop Tate's .

Good food, good staff, always packed on weekends, Pop tates is my second home. I love sizzlers i.e garlic pepper chicken with piri piri sauce. Salsa prawns & spicy grilled chicken square, good happy on IMFL. Love to come here again n again. Staff is very good polite & professional especially Narayan server is very good.

Was here for a friends birthday recently..and I am surprised that why have i not been here before..😍this place is too good..with songs going on in the background and dim lights, this place is actually fun ..tried these pizza, cheese balls, nachos..and loved everything we ordered..the rates are also perfect not very expensive 👍🏻.. totally recommended 💯

I went with my family and everything, from Service to food was super bad...I saw clear bias towards our table as ours was the only table with two senior citizens otherwise the restaurant was filled with college going crowds. So, waiters were serving those tables while we were left waiting for everything...Had to ask thrice for water on table, which normally is served immediately after you seat your costumer. The waiters preferred spending time on mobile and cash machine then taking our order. after finally succeeding in gaining the attention of the waiter and placing the order. The food that was served was cold. Sizzler was the saddest, it was the worst I have ever seen. It seemed like they served someoneelse's leftover to us. When complaint about the sizzler waiter just stated that this is how it is. Ohhh and did I tell you that the sizzlers I order was a meat sizzler but it had meat, shell fish and rajma chawal. When complaint about cold food the manager gave most bizarre reason saying that the food got cold coz we had to add other condiments like tomato and potatoes in it... At the end we decided to call for bill which took another 30minutes. So very bad experience not at all friendly.<br/><br/>Definitely putting this restaurant in never to visit list.

Super amazing food as always. The guy helping us out with our orders went out of the way for recommending a good beer, he suggested SIMONA (it was not yet on the menu). The best part was it's an imported beer and there was a good offer on it 2+1 so it ultimately costed us Rs. 1,000 for 3 which was super epic in taste.<br/><br/>If you are in the mood to try a different beer I would definitely recommend SIMONA it's better than other beers if you compare the price and the taste
