Review Flea Bazaar Cafe - Mumbai

Renzo D'souza
A food court kind of a set up makes it a really nice place to hangout. You have loads of options to choose from, various cuisines to try out. The fact that you can order a variety of small dishes from different places really appeals to some. The ambience is super cool. Recently they have added table service for which you will be charged in the bill but it makes things a lot easier now. Occasionally they do project sports on the screen. A nice place to visit if you find yourself in Kamla mills and can't figure out what you wanna eat. Come here and try a little of everything!

Nice ambience. Great variety of food thanks to so many restaurants/ stalls. The food was fine, not so amazing. Some restaurants had amazing variety and dishes. Would have really loved to have more dessert options and also food from Socials. But overall a great place to hang out.
Drishti Shah
A very lively atmosphere, this place has a menu with multiple varieties available! Tried a cocktail called Thai Maalish. Would not recommend it. The nachos are good! They also serve Jain food on request. The interiors are really good and give it a festive vibe.

An interesting take at a food court concept with a market place theme. I only wish the billing part was made a little easier than having to end up paying at every counter, apart from that it was an excellent location well maintained and with a concept worth exploring and experiencing. With special events happening over the evenings and weekends all I can say is if you are a part of a big group better come in early and occupy your seats.
Subhasri Sahoo
I've been here twice with my friends. The ambience is amazing! It's actually a food court so you get to choose from a wide variety of food. The food is not very expensive too. So if you're searching for a fancy place with good and not so expensive food then you should definitely visit this place.
Mahima Satyapal
It's one of the newer joints and has a new concepts of small pop ups within a big place. Like a flea bazaar for food. Decent food nothing special. But the place has a unique concept and loads of locations for good pictures. Ambience and music is better than the food. Worth a visit for the experience and not purely for the food.
Rachi Gupta
Love the place, the vibe, the ambience, concept, music and alcohol and the numerous options to eat from and shop! Love it! There are many options like deitalia, Lucknowee tunday kebab, cameo kitchen, burgers, and coo and dope coffee. With the social bar.

It is basically an improvised version of a food court. Located at Kamala Mills compound, this place offers great food for every food lover. The ambience is definitely a plus point since it makes the dining experience even more memorable. It has a combination of dim lights with vibrant colours. This place has a great vibe and is an ideal spot to spend some quality time with your loved ones. One can find a variety of cuisines here , right from authentic South Indian cuisine to lip smacking pizzas and pastas, each one of it is equally good. Would highly recommend this place.

Angrezi dhaba has become one of my most favorite restaurant. Needless to say that their food, service and ambience is just bang on. After dadar, kharghar and lower parel now they have opened a new outlet in Mahalaxmi. This outlet too is with bright colours, dim lights, shamiyana sitting and yes swings too, perfect for fusion style dhaba.. They have outdoor sitting too, which gives you a beautiful view of racecourse. Coming to food, quality and quantity of the food is great and prices are easy on your pocket. What we had: Cocktails : We tried Mumbai addiction, Tall & handsome and Smoking gold. All the cocktails were amazing. I personally liked tall & handsome and smoking gold more. Recommended. Appetizers : All the appetizers we tried were amazingly delicious. We tried lobster rings, crab lollipop, tandoori butter garlic prawns and taco lime chicken. Crab lollipops were really good. Crispy outside and soft mildly flavoured crab meat inside. Liked the taste. We simply loved tandoori butter garlic prawns and taco lime chicken. Both were well marinated and perfectly cooked. Also both the dishes tasted amazing. Totally recommended. Main course : We had kheema mutter with masala butter pav and masala pasta. Both the dishes were very good. Kheema was perfectly flavored and cooked nicely with spices. Pasta was creamy with lots of flavors and cheese in it. The quantity is superb, more than enough for two people. Desserts : After hogging so much we decided to end our dinner with sizzling brownie. It was really good. Our overall experience at angrezi dhaba was great. Right from food to ambience to service angrezi dhaba never disappoints. From our end we highly recommend Angrezi dhaba.

We ordered their appans with pepper chicken, goila's naan bombs, biryani from lucknowee, seekh pav , Sunday kebab, watermelon juice, and the pizzaWe also tried the Fried Icecream from Flea Bazaar Café.At first we were a bit skeptical about ordering it but when it came we were mesmerized. And after the first bite we were shocked that it tasted soooo good ! The crispy covert is made out of sweet coconut and jaggery and the ice cream inside is a plain vanilla. And the chocolate sauce was the perfect dressing. Overall all the ingredients used complemented eachother very well! We loved this dessert and we cannot wait to go when they open again!
Riddhi Jadhav
The ambience is amazing and so is the taste of every delicacy!

Lower Parel is the one place where fine dining, restaurant experience and kitchens have evolved to a notch above others. Just a quick search and various suggestions pop up to grab a quick bite. One of them is the collection of hand picked-brands under one roof, the Flea Bazaar Café. With a powerful, exhilarating and a cheerful vibe, this place knows how to pack a punch. An innovative self service carryout and one relishes the amazing range of dining options. Del Italia and El Chapo are go to favourites with Bay Burger and Dope Coffee Roasters to name a few. There is something for everyone. Also featuring a pop up bar by Social, quite renowned in the circuit. This is a hotspot for the younger crowd, just like me. Drop by to experience an aura like never before and food fresh, fiery, and full bodied.
#healthyliving

I’ve been to The Flea Bazaar cafe multiple times and the experience has always been good. However, this time, when we decided to opt for home delivery, it was horrible.
To start with, the guacamole and black bean burger had no guacamole. The BBQ paneer burger looked alright, but did not have any significant taste. The portions for the roasted tomato and bell pepper soup as well as onion rings were miserable. We were literally served 5 small pieces of the onion rings. Ended up wasting money on a meal that was definitely not enjoyable! Avoid opting for home delivery.
Spectacular place that offer variety of food.
This place gives a really good vibe. Different brands offering different food at a single place. With the overwhelming ambience it is a place to hangout with friends. Food you can have right from Mughlai to Italian and for drinks one court of Social. They follow self service system here but the staff very is humble.
Food- 4/5
Ambience -4/5
Service- 4/5
Overall would rate it as 4/5.
Do visit it.

Flea Bazzar Cafe at Lower parel is a food heaven for all the foodies out there. If you've been here, you know what I'm taking about and if you haven't, you better put it in your to-do list. The variety of food here is amazing. You can choose from 13 restraunts all under one roof.😍 This place will definitely leave you confused on what to eat.

Ambiance- 5/5
Food - 5/5
Service- 5/5
Value for money - 5/5

What i tried:
1. Moroccan spiced lamb - This dish was from Del Italia. It consisted of spiced minced lamb, assorted peppers and mozzarella. Absolutely delicious.

2. Spaghetti fruti de marie - This dish was from de Italia as well. It consists of assorted seafood with fresh tomato basil sauce. This one was mouth- watering.

3. Onion rings - These were from bay burgers served with a creamy dip. A very beachy themed restraunt. It looked really cute so i had fo try something from there.

4. Fried rice with hot garlic chicken - This dish was from Hungli - li. A chinese food restraunt. As a chinese food lover this tasted really good. Definitely upto my expectations.

5. Strawberry icecream - From the Bohri Kitchen.

6. Peach ice tea- From Socials bar. This was served cutely in a small tub. Very refreshing drink.

The mac & cheese burger was outstanding . The quality of the burger & the cheese used in it made the burger very very tasty . Want to try the bean burger next ... the packing was very good too . If the burger was piping hot then would have tasted doubly good . Awesome variety they have to order from .

This place is literally a bazaar it's like modern version of mela's. They 5-6 different food stalls, a social outlet from where you can order food. They have different kind of seating as per style of food stall.
They serve various kind of food including street food, Italian, Chinese, small plates, Indian, deserts and drinks.
We ordered pizza and spaghetti from one stall, nachos from other and biryani from other stall.
Mitali Jain
There are ample of food joints and best restaurants when it comes to Kamla Mills in Lower Parel... This one was suggested to me by one friend... The place is a perfect party place... The crowd was decent and the best part was the food options... The best part is the different outlets and one single person coming and coordinating with your order accordingly and serving them... I loved the mozzarella cheese sticks from Burger Boss which were perfectly cooked and tasting yum...
Cheers!

Flea Bazaar Cafe has lost its original concept. It has shut down some of its main, interesting food shops like Bohri kitchen, Pao bao, whatsappum, paan wala and soam. They no longer follow the bazaar system, where people could go and place their order like you do in a bazaar. It has lost it's "flea" vibe. The new shop which replaced Bohri kitchen, Charolie, has tasteless, non-edible food. The menu has been limited. The food quality has degraded highly, the costs have increased.
If I were to write this review in September 2019,prior to the new makeover, I would have said that this restaurant is interesting and very different from others with delicious and wide variety of food choicesm. But I am disappointed to say that it's not the same now.
Flea bazaar Cafe is now an ordinary restaurant with the same disappointing food like other 2 star restaurants.
Would definitely recommend to go there if you wanna be disappointed.

Entered at ~8pm on a Sunday | Table #15 | & the place was filled with more servers than customers but everyone's so confused on who should be serving which table that no one attends to us... it's ridiculous to have servers pass by & ignore you blatantly or not even call the designated server to the table. Even the bill took more than 15mins before we had to walk to the desk & get it ourselves. The management & the manager seem like they don't care about the place at all.
Ozzy Kunnu
Concept of the restaurant is quite clear: Flea Bazaar of Food from around the world and India, and the decor manages to.communicate the same.

But as far as putting that concept into action is when it goes either wrong or right....

For Flea Bazaar it goes quite wrong. Half of the things on the menu weren't available. And out of the limited choice we had to choose from, nothing quite interesting.

Music was good and whatever we ordered on the plate was decent enough but not up to the standards one would think of.

In all, a decent place to catch up with friends.
Lak.imti
Service was brilliant a special shout out to Mr.Hasan and the Manager for making it a wonderful experience

The flea bazar cafe is one of the best places to be in Mumbai hands down! It's a very cool, new concept of having multiple stalls of highly renowned food chains or restaurant chains under one roof so that one can have the best of everything and anything. A big space with ample seating, amazing lights, centred by the ever so awesome social bar gets a plus on ambiance.
We tried the pepperoni pizza, the chicken Fried rice with schezwan both of with were amazing dishes and worth the price!
We also tried the burgers from this new joint in the cafe called Boss Burgers. Amazing burgers. Must Try
There are also mexican, asian options and Indian cuisines and kebabs and burgers and desserts as well. Often packed for some sort of performance during weekends or at evenings, it's a very unique worthwhile experience and a must go!
Hands down one of my go to places whenever in Kamala Mills!
Srishti Verma
It is more like a food court and has a lot of restaurants and a good bar section which has Social as well. The ambience is the best part. Lesser variety for vegetarians. Not a lot of new dishes. Must make reservations or reach in time. Cover charges on the weekend mostly.
Anam Khan
The ambiance and food, both are great. Chicken crispy and noodles are a must try. An amazing place to visit with friends.💗

Great service by Hasan Ali and Team

They made us wait for a really long time. The food had no taste and service was really bad

I recently visited flea bazaar after a month or so. The place is completely revamped and has changed for the worse. The whole concept has been turned upside down with servers serving you at the table. The vibe that the place once had has now vanished. I hope they change it back to what it was originally.

Went with my premium customers for lunch today Was a disaster
Extremely slow service
Butter chicken had no chicken only gravy and 2 small pieces. had ordered 3 portions Found out they were over with but still want to serve it
Charge double for appetisers not ordered
Got it corrected
Went home saw 1 imported beer was charged extra too
Felt cheated with service charge added
Even a coke can takes 15 min to serve
Omkar Subramanian
A street styled setup with a modern twist. The food was great, though the quantity wasn’t what we were expecting, was on the lesser side. Service was average as we had to wait for a while for our food to be delivered. But the food and the ambience made up for it and all of us ended up having a good time. Recommended.
Karl Patel
Akshay (server) Food was really good, love the ambiance and service was excellent
Priyanka Pillai Manchanda
It was a brilliant experience.. various outlets under one roof but what we did not like was the Chinese outlet. We asked for egg Hakka noodles in a less spicy sauce.. what we got was spicy black bean sauce swimming with capsicum and no egg. To compensate a fried egg was given to us. The flea bazaar staff was brilliant., they offered alternatives and when we did not avail it.. they even excluded the item in the bill. But the inefficiency of the Chinese outlet Hung li needs to be addressed and improved

I walked into the cafe desperate for a cup of tea but the friendly manager Imran apologetically said it wasn’t on the menu. Then he asked me to wait, spoke to a waiter and asked me to get comfortable. A cup of tea made its way to my table, brought by a puzzled looking waiter. They didn’t put it on the bill and when I asked why the manager said it was actually the tea that had just been made for the staff and he didn’t want me to leave without the tea I came for. ‘I know how people can get headaches when the need tea’, he said. Such concern and hospitality are truly rare.
Zainab!❤️

It is located in commercial area so the crowd here is amazing.

They have amazing appetizers like Paneer Tikka Sandwich, Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken Tikka.A refreshing drink made with seasonal fruit is served in tall glass with small pieces of apple and soda gives it a twist.

ICED TEA PEACH

The service here is top notch and they've got a great menu with lots of options.

I tried the non vegetarian buffet which included some dishes from the menu.

They had us select between some of their mocktails so we chose one charcoal lemonade and peach icedtea.

The iced tea was perfect and so was the lemonade.

The charcoal lemonade is good for health and stomach cleansing with a great taste.

The mains were buffet and it served oriental chicken and steam rice, both tasted brilliant and the rice was so well cooked.Desserts were chocolate mousse and mango mousse, both very creamy and tasty to eat.

Overall a great place.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Only thing I liked about this place is the vibrant decor and the vibe.

So i ordered four cheese pizza, which i recieved not hot but cold and it had no taste. The sauce was Bland af.

Also ordered the penne pesto pasta. Which was dry and was floating in oil at the bottom of the plate.

Nothing much to brag about with the food.

Come Friday Night and you and your friends are still unsure about the type of cuisine or vibe of the place that you'll wish to spend your weekend at. No worries as the Flea Bazaar Cafe is here to your rescue. Visited this place a while back and we returned truly impressed

Decor: 5.0

As an Interior Designer myself I can truly understand the amount of hard work and patience that has gone into creating a space that beautifully captures the essence of a variety of cuisines and brands that this place aims to offer. Right from the informal amphitheatre seating at the entrance to the strategically positioned coffee stall inviting patrons with it's aromas of exotic coffee beans, this place has it all. The ceiling made with wooden beams, dimly lit neon lighting throughout the outlet reminiscing Tokyo Street vibes the list goes on an on

Food: 4.0

We placed an order for multiple dishes with the two, three....ten, honestly lost the count of Beers & Cocktails that we drank that night. But what really stood out were the Kebabs from Lucknowee Tunday Kebab. The Chicken Seekh, Mutton Seekh & Tunday Kebab were mouthwatering and we ordered for a few more of those. Also the Longest Long Island Iced Tea (L.L.I.I.T) from Social's was truly LIT

Service: 2.0

The service though decent hits a bad note on a few places. When we entered and asked for assistance to be seated the server nonchalantly directed us to the outlet informing that we could sit wherever there's space. After roaming around aimlessly for 15-20 mins. or so we managed to spot a table with a few seats vacant where a couple was seated eating / drinking nothing. Agreed that the place has a unique concept, however the management should certainly look into having a mechanism to assist patrons in being seated. As well as keep a tap on patrons who spend endless hrs. occupying tables without actually ordering anything so as to have them vacated for incoming patrons

V.F.M.: 4.0

I'd highly recommend this place for the variety on offer as well the amazing ambiance that the team has tried to create. If only the management could pull up their socks in better crowd management the experience would have been truly worthwhile

Flea bazaar cafe has a great variety of restaurants and food to out for. When you are bored of eating roti sabzi and rice, this is the best option to dine out.
Do try the mutton samosas from the Bohri kitchen. They are just super tasty.
Dimsums (veg and chicken barbeque) and quesadilas are also worth ordering.
Desserts and pastries are just amazing.
The ambience is also quite interesting and lively.

I had been seeing a listing of this restaurant for quite a while on Zomato with a very good rating. I had a look at the menu and I really liked the variety they are offering.

Chinese, Hung Li Non Veg MealBox: It had hakka noodles, manchow soup, chicken schezwan gravy, dim sums, and fried noodles. The Hakka noodles were good in taste but not great. Manchow soup was tasting perfect and well cooked. The chicken gravy had a decent taste and I did not like it much. Dimsums were well cooked and tasty with sweetish flavor on the outside. These were among the best dim sum I have had. Overall a good meal box. 4/5 on taste.

Overall a good experience with this restaurant and I would update this review as I order more items in the future.

Rating

Packaging: 5/5

Taste: 3.5/5

Value for money: 3.5/5

Overall: 4/5

Flea Bazaar cafe used to be nicer back in the day, the quality has definitely gone down since a year or so
We started with the butter chicken from Goila’s which didn’t taste too great also they don’t serve naans which was shocking as butter chicken and naan is the classic combo
We also try some cheesy fries from Bay Burger and a couple of mocktails from the socials bar which tasted good
But the aglio olio pasta from del Italia was the saddest, it lacked salt and was just not great at all
They should think of adding socials food menu to improve the place a little

Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Food: 2/5
Drinks: 4/5
On the pocket: ₹₹₹

Very few options to go with the drinks...unless people have started eating rice and burgers with drinks..ordered a pizza which was half cooked. And after complaining they didn’t change the order but just baked it again making it worse. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

The place is very good. Multiple restaurant and cuisine at one go. Ambiance is very cozy with comfy couches. Try dimsums and hopper whitbier. Definitely a go-to place.

Asked my go-to bartender here, Girish, for an unusual warm cocktail with honey, ginger and lemon. Better than what I expected! 👌

The butter chicken was not at all close to that, plus they didn't have GARLIC NAAN, I mean whaaaat. Butter chicken with rumali roti and not naan at all.

#The spaghetti was ughhh saltless, tasteless.

The fries was by far manageable to eat.

I had an amazing time. Lot of options to choose from. Goilas butterchicken is to die for.

I tried Chicken Bhuna combo. The jeera masala and taste of the chicken Bhuna is must try. The gravy is fabulous. I would really like the recipe.

Worst experience ever. We ordered "veg" mac n cheese and and were served with chicken mac and cheese that too within a minute which means it was already pre-cooked and the waiter did not even knew the dish they were serving.

Flea Bazaar Cafe is a restaurant in Kamala Mills, Lower Parel. They have a unique concept wherein a number of restaurants have their stalls put up and you can order what you like from anywhere. Here’s what we tried:

Tunday Kebab from Lucknowee Tunday Kebab: So, so good. Almost as good as the authentic kebabs from Lucknow. This dish was rich, royal is the word.

Chicken Rashida Combo from The Bohri Kitchen: Only the chicken gravy was good. I’ve had Bohri thaal before and this just felt like cheap imitation. The roti was too hard and the overall dish didn’t do justice to the price.

Baked Mango Rasgulla from Goila Butter Chicken: Terrible. Baked rasgulle ke naam pe kalank. Paid ₹80 for that ugh. Never order that.
All in all, it was a decent experience. I loved the vibe and ambience, it is a really cool place to click pictures and have a fun time. Bands play there after 9:30 pm. I would go back to this place only for the setting, baaki sab theek thaak hi hai.

We finally visited Flea Bazaar Cafe after multiple recommendations from our friends and totally enjoyed it. We went there as a family and there was enough variety of food for each of our tastes. The ambiance was very lively as we'd expected. We had food from across cuisines and quite liked most of what we had. There's so much to eat and taste that we look forward to visiting again with a larger group of friends. Special mention for Mr. Imran who took very good care for us throughout. Overall too, the service was very good.

A place located in Kamala mills giving you perfect mela type vibes with shopping and food literally 2 of my favourite things put together!!❤

In frame 1 : Tia blanco burger
I am usually not a burger fan but this burger was so crazy that it literally changed my mind. Highly recommended!! The perfectly cooked veggies topped with spicy peanuts giving a crispy surprise (yesss peanuts can really taste good in a burger) and sweet onion jam made the perfect combination! It was served with sweet potato chips!

In frame 2 : El cado quesadilla
Loaded with beans and avocado made it a healthy and tasty option!! Must try!! It was served with nacho chips and avocado sauce was a good addition!

In frame 3 : Bulletproof Coffee
The specialty of this coffee is that it contains coconut oil along with milk giving it a much better taste then normal coffees served. It was loaded with walnuts and flax seeds and topped with cinnamon giving an amazing aftertaste.

Taste - 5/5
Price - 4.5/5
Service - 5/5

I ordered in from Flea Bazaar Cafe through Swiggy. The packaging was great. Food was delivered on time.

Food wise

1. Spaghetti Agli Olio : Firstly, the spaghetti was totally orange. This means they used something other than olive oil, garlic and oregano. It was extremely oily and was really not agli Olio. Bland too, couldn't taste any garlic even remotely. 2/5

2. Iced tea : this was fine. Happy with the bottle 3.5/5

I was in the mood for spaghetti Agli Olio but what I got from Flea bazaar cafe was pretty disappointing. I paid Rs. 272 for this meal.

Rating 3.5/5

As a concept, it’s fun and unique. The ambience is brilliant!

However, we waited a long time for someone to just take our order (and we were starving).

We ordered the Fettuccine Basil Pesto and the Smoked Vegetables Provincial Pizza from Del-Italia. The Pasta was delicious but the pizza less so. It was quite chewy and not at all what we expected.

For dessert, we ate the Whisky Eclair from Country of Origin. Sinfully chocolatey which a proper taste of Whisky, it’s a must have for all those who love liquor in chocolate (or liquor in general)

P.S. Recommend a visit in large groups so you can experience all the different cuisines available
