Review Sequel Bistro & Juice Bar - Mumbai

Shayamal Vallabhjee
My favourite place in Bandra to grab a coffee and work. The food is exquisite, ambience is wonderful and the place itself is tastefully done. It is not the cheapest place but you pay for quality. Definitely worth checking out.
Nicky Sharma
It was such a cute and peaceful cafe located on the 16th road. Food was amazing and the services were great. You could visit if you're not into noisy or crowded cafes.
anandhi srivatsan
Enjoyed the crispy finger millet dosa and the staff were very friendly and the liked the ambience too. And Tacos with Avocado was also good. The ingredients were very fresh.
Cheshta Dora
Love the coffee and the vibe... minimalistic interiors. The food is good. Great place to work from or just chill.
Gemini Gupte
Very Organic place with some exquisite organic cuisine, good vibes , well done decor , yummy and diverse food options organically made , very different from other restaurants, quiet classy and we enjoyed the cocktails too ! Highly priced but if you want to taste something very different then this is the place , sit quietly, enjoy your meal ! Valet parking available!
Amrit Saggu
A small little Cosy spot in Bandra. We tried the coffee but it was a little too frothy. Didn’t try the food though, might try next time.
Alifiya Cader
A perfect place for gluten sensitive people and those absolute hardcore healthy diet lovers . I could actually feel the freshness of the sea water prawns ! Me being a all Organic person just loved the food! A bit steep but worth every morsel. The prawn tacos were mind boggling!
Shabbir Lokhandwala
A cafe for health concious and organic food lovers. Good quality food with nice and simple white ambience having both indoor and outdoor seating options. But i found it to be quite overpriced compared to the portion size served.
Elena Kazan
Beautiful place with a nice outdoor seating area filled with a lot of plants. The food is lovely! Fresh and organic, the menu is carefully curated to provide a wonderful selection of healthy and delicious dishes. I loved the Pink Salad. Fresh and delicious, with a nice surprise of huge capers (which I think might even be local.) The Peruvian chocolate tart is simply divine! So chocolaty, the texture a perfect balance of soft and creamy, and beautifully decorated. And the fresh cranberry-raspberry-orange-sweet basil juice was incredibly delicious! So fresh and tangy, full of the flavour of berries.
Hetal Bhatt
It's a classy place to work & eat some detox food ! Cozy ambiance ! I ordered a protein bowl , it was very filling ! But thet should have added more herbs & lil spices into that ! Overall it's good !
Net Supatravanij
Unexpectedly amazing food. Looks beautiful and tastes even better. The place itself is also very quaint and a great place to come to work alone or have a catch-up with friends.
Tarun Menezes
Interesting organic food in extremely expensive bite size portions. The quality of everything is stellar and the flavours are divine. Try the avo-mousse and be pleasantly surprised.

Delicious 🤤😋 Mouth Smacking Good

The owners are very rude had a poor experience, don’t got to this place as you will have a poor experience.
Foodstagram
This is the right place for people who are looking for eating healthy food 🥘. The salads are amazing here and pancakes too. I have been here once and can say from my visit that it’s one of the best places for eating healthy food. The place is quiet and has a very positive vibe. The music played is also nice. It’s a must visit place if you are a diet Freak !
Hirvita Desai
A warm cosy ambience that makes you feel like you are in Goa or some chill place.. I ordered 3 dishes and all of them had impeccable taste !

The Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl is just perfection 😍 the presentation, the taste everything !
They use organic produce for those who care for it ..

The place is a little too pricy, that being the only con I found on my visit here, and that's why the 4 stars.
Sharmila
The dessert was incredibly overpriced for what we got. ₹425 for a dessert that was not even enough for one person. Disappointed.
Bharat Mody
The food tasted fine, the real disappointment was the portions for what they charge.
Bharti Soni
I totally agree with you I ordered almond butter which was not of good quality and also bottle qty was so less , extremely pricy at 590 per bottle, when I complained, on IG , I was brazenly told to remove post !!!! and keep feedback aside, no body called me back for a goods 4 -5 days after umpteen reminders
Megha Kothari
Owners attitude is horrible. She thinks she’s the only one who knows about healthy and organic food. We ordered a salad and didn’t like it. When we mentioned that we didn’t like it and if she could replace it she started speaking rudely. Ultimately we had to pay for the salad we didn’t consume and when we said her attitude is really bad and she should speak politely she said JUST LEAVE. Across the world I’ve been to healthy cafes but no one has such negative behaviour towards a customer. They charge a whopping amount for small quality but I wouldn’t mind paying if the quality is good but no one likes to have food at a place where they are treated inferiority and insulted. The lady should learn manners, she doesn’t have heart or kindness instilled.
The Sunday Suppers
For Vanika Choudhary, eating organic was a way of life, ever since she was a child. Growing up in Kashmir and then Jammu, Vanika and her family were used to growing their own produce, composting, cooking with the freshest produce and foraging their own seasonal ingredients. Vanika’s father, a scientist, is an ardent gardener and her mother is a passionate home chef, who chooses only fresh and local ingredients in her cooking. The example set by Vanika’s family as she grew up set the tone for how she thinks of eating and living clean as the natural way of life.

Vanika opened Sequel in Bandra – the flagship property – in June 2016, followed by the Kala Ghoda space in August 2017. In June 2019, Vanika joined hands with ace architect Asheish Shah for a complete renovation of Sequel’s Bandra space. Sequel 2.0, the result of Choudhary and Shah’s combined vision, pairs an authentically farm to fork experience with luxury.
Manasi Gandotra
This is the quantity of food I got for a sky high price. I don’t mind paying for good food, but this is definitely not “lunch” and the taste was sub par.
Shimoli Mehta
Food and service was commendable. Everything tasted as mentioned on the menu. Slightly pricey but worth it!
Ashish
Heard about this place from a friend and were really looking forward to be here. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 mocktails and all the dishes portion size was extremely small. The guacamole was tasteless. The presentation if the food was good but taste was a big disappointment. The berry smoothie was just tasteless. The salad bowl was ok but nothing out of the world and am sure there are many better options around. We paid 1000 per head only to leave from there and eat at farmers cafe to fill our stomachs.
Brownie95
I could eat this everyday!! The food was impeccable and delicious! You can definitely tell the ingredients are fresh and full of flavour. The menu and food breaks the perception that healthy food can’t be yummy. Will definitely keep coming back here! :) Would recommend dining here.
Walnut the dog was the highlight of our experience!
Kunal Bajaj
With all due respect to what this restaurant is trying to accomplish with organic ingredients and healthy food, it fails on the flavour front. I love this kind of food and seek out healthy eating. But a place like Kitchen Garden has far more flavour and is a lot more satisfying. Small dishes, over priced, lacking flavour.
Pooja
One of the best places in Bandra if you like clean eating..the food is unbelievably good and doesn't make you feel guilty after eating- it's that healthy. Lots of vegan, organize, vegetarian options and the service is commendable. The staff is polite and particularly Kanmi, helped us choose the best dishes for our brunch. It doesn't feel like it's even in Mumbai...
Yasmeen
Aseem was very polite and knew his products. He recommended us the best . We will surely come again...........................................
Nom Nom
Great place
Lovely menu
But too pricy
Perfect for having something healthy and guilt free
Love their outdoor seating it’s quite comfy and cozy
Staff was nice and over all the place was great
Akhil Nanda
The Smoothies and Ice cream must! The outdoor seating is best for the monsoon weather. And it’s finally off my places to try in the city. Slightly overpriced
Yes the hype is true. Sequel definitely is the best place in Mumbai for high quality organic food.
#
Here's my list of favorites ..
1️⃣ Delicious blueberry smoothie
2️⃣ Almond and Coconut Pancakes with Kashmiri honey and Berries
3️⃣ Avocado on Toast
4️⃣ The Wholesome Bowl
#
The only negative? Portion sizes. Then again, maybe that's just me cos I eat for two 😉

This restaurant gives a all healthy experience with their organic and gluten free menu. So if you are on your “keto” or one of those diets you could come here and enjoy the meals. The ingredients are supposedly brought in from around the world keeping in mind the organic label and free from gluten/refined sugar.

Its quite a small and cozy joint

Drinks-
1. We settled in for a smoothie; Kashmiri Saffron infused almond Milk. Claims to give a radiant skin with the goodness of saffron ☺️

2. The second was cold pressed juice called skinny minnie which is a mix of carrots, pomegranate and chocolate mint.

The food
1. Charred red pepper hummus- This is a must try for its charred flavor. Perfect texture of the hummus and the almond, mix seeds crackers to go with were quite delicious with the nutty flavours.

2. Charred Norwegian Salmon ceviche- This was a very well cooked dish. The fish was fresh, soft and juicy.

3. Balinese curry - We added pan seared white prawns with chilli sea salt. This was served with wild black rice. The aroma and taste both were delicious.

Dessert
Decadence - Reading the exquisite description we were quite hungry for our dessert to arrive, only to our dismay the portion was quite tiny! None the less tasted well.

The people who ain’t really on a diet or have a good appetite might be disappointed with their portion size of each dish.
Simran Minawala
The owner was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Love the place but that’s not how you treat your customers. It ruined the whole experience. Wouldn’t visit again.
Devanshu46
Good food. Very bad service. The owner/ manager is very rude. Ruined the whole experience. Wouldn’t want to visit the place ever again. Would prefer to visit kitchen garden instead.
Snigdha Mitra
This place is overly hyped though but the food here is not that great, it feels I am on a complete diet plan looking at the menu. This restaurant serves mostly the food which is less oily and focuses more on dieting regime, well if you are visiting the place on a weekend do not be surprised if you see celebs around you,the ambience is good and the place is quite a lot expensive.
So, if you are ready to shell out some good money for a diet food but celebs accompanying you kinda experiencing around then sequel is an overall good place!

I had heard about it’s healthy and organic reputation to which it lived up to, along with a good variety of filling foods. The Vegan Protein Bowl is a good substantial bowl with ingredients such as Hummus, Falafel & Roasted Chickpeas. It has a slightly tangy flavour due to the addition of Olives and Tomatoes, so if you’re looking for something fun, this is the bowl for you. I love anything made with sweet potatoes but the Sweet Potato Fries were kind of a let down because they were stiff, not as nicely baked as one could bake them at home. But the addition of cumin was a good choice on their behalf. My friend had the Jicama Tacos, they got a little messy while eating due to the presentation but the taste was good and the soft taco shell/tortilla was quite tasty. Not pictured below, but we also ordered the Peruvian Raw Cacao Tart, it’s quite bitter but dark chocolate lovers will definitely appreciate it. The dessert specifically, but also the rest of the menu was quite pricey, but that is probably because there are not many organic restaurants with a vegan variety to compete with them, at least not yet.

For the starters , I had been longing to go this place for so long !
I loved this place ...the place has chic interior and gives you very comforting and cozy vibes ❤️
I had never had such yum , healthy and gluten free food!
For starters the Acia smoothie jar is a must must have !
I had the salad with zucchini and avocado and lord it was so filling and tasty !!
They have a separate fridge outside where they store some more items like raw cacao tart , cashew milk overnight oats etc
Even those items are must have !!
Staff is very friendly too !!
This place can be but heavy on the pocket but you won’t regret it 😊

Food 4/5
Staff friendly 4/5
Pocket friendly $$$$
Ambience 4/5

Too pricey!!! Portions too small... Taste also not up to the mark.. The kale cold pressed juice was actually sour.. When told, they only added honey.. But didn't go well with the taste..

Worst place in Bandra ! Horrible attitude of the owner/ manager . The vegan salad I order was extremely bitter as all the toppings and leaves were very unsavoury. After complaining to the staff twice I sent it back and did not eat it. The service is also so atrocious as I had to ask to speak to the manger or owner . After a guy with glasses comes to the table , someone with no customer care skills and says that's the way the food is ...you have to pay for it!! inspite of explaining the problem to him he was so patronising. I just paid the whole bill without eating and walked out hungry .I am also from the hospitality industry and have never come across a place and owner with such a bad attitude. Would definitely never recommend this place to anyone or visit again . As there are much better places in Bandra to eat where you are treated with respect and if there are issues they are rectified.

I've been on a search for a healthy alternative to the chain restaurants, tasty albeit unhealthy, we're so used to visiting.

Having stayed in Dubai for quite some time, I was addicted to the nutritious yet delicious cuisine available there. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be able to have dishes of a similar standard in our very own Mumbai which really is getting into its own food culture.

Sequel struck me as the perfect spot to catch a lovely Sunday brunch with a friend and enjoy the wholesome food which it has to offer.
The restaurant is expensive for what it offers but makes up for it in terms of quality and service provided

We ordered the following dishes ~~

1. Immunity Booster Acai Bowl🍓🍫 - This bowl was the reason why I had come to sequel in the first place. Refreshingly fresh and light with just the right amount of chocolate to offset the tartness of the berries. 10/10

2. Mediterranean Eggs 🍳🥑- The impeccable attention to detail in the presentation of this dish was absolutely mind-blowing. The way the salmon had been rolled up showed incredible finesse. Overall it was a lovely and delicious dish. 8/10

3. Black Rice Noodle Bowl 🍜- The bowl was a tad too soupy for me which diluted the flavours and made it sloppy to serve as well as consume. 6/10

4. Peruvian Raw Cacao Tart 🍪❤️- Interesting proposition to the traditional sugar based desserts. It has the perfect balance of chocolate as well as crunchiness which comes from the walnut garnishing. Berries provide just the right amount of sourness so that its tied together perfectly. 9/10

5. Almond and Coconut Pancake 🥞🍴- Refreshingly tasty combination of berry compote and almost flour based pancake results in a very tasty but guilt free dessert which is not very dense in calories. 7/10

Sequel is an amazing cafe nestled in Pali Hill although it's heavy pricing really makes it tough to recommend as an alternative to traditional cafes.

The ambience is fab. It's like quaint lil European style cafe.
Let's come to food now: more than half of things mentioned in their menu were not available. Portion size is too small . One dish is also not sufficient for one person . When you ask for what is best, they will push for what has been prepared in huge quantities but is not selling .. so dont ask their opinion on what they think is best in their cafe. Amazing range of smoothies and breakfast bowls..bit again portions are small. The service given to us was 0. No one attended us for 30 mins .. finally had to walk up to them to ask for menu. No one gave us plates or spoons on time.. they just kept the dish and walked away..how are we supposed to eat it? Too expensive for portion size they serve .. but yes.. it comes in one of few restaurants which serves organic produce and have most gluten free and vegan options available. Food tastes good. Nice clean and hygienic. Will I go back or recommend it to any one.. I doubt!! 3 stars only for taste of food else I would give one on everything else .

Had been wanting to come here for quite a while now as i love discovering breakfast menus around the city, however this one was a let-down. Staffs were approachable and service was OK.
I ordered the Peruvian cacao smoothie which seemed so bitter in spite of there being dates in it.
Also ordered a cold press juice called Daily dose of Vitamin C seemed so sour that i cudnt sip on it i just had to literally gulp it down.
The eggs that we ordered were Jigsaw and The fold over..loved Jigsaw but the fold over wasnt so great inspite of it having one of my fav ingredients sundried tomato pesto.
The sorghum bread tasted extremely dry.
Definitely not the standard you'd expect from a cafe with the given prices.
Will def come back to try the rest of the menu hope that it will not disappoint me again.

Cute, charming little place with indoor and outdoor seating and a healthy yet delicious sounding menu. Has indoor and outdoor seating with pretty interiors and a soothing feel.
We dropped by after lunch for some green tea and a peanut butter ice-cream which was so delicious and creamy with a fresh berry garnish.
Hoping to visit again soon to try a few more things.
Parth Thakkar
While the place and the ambience is quite wonderful, and the food is definitely nice as well. A few more options and a relatively larger selection in the menu would have helped. The place does not serve chicken and that would perhaps be one of my feedbacks. The smoothies however are delicious, and even there, adding whey protein options would help.
Oindrila Bhowmik
I am in love with this place. Its most definitely the closest to what a perfect place for a healthy person would be. It caters to all sorts of healthy nuts, grains, greens and organic food. I do not actively write reviews but I could not help but write a short note on this wonderful spot. You can try the Kala Ghoda one which is equally good.
Nikhil Sonik
The ambience is really amazing. The restaurant serves organic food which is very healthy. The food served here is of excellent quality. I just loved the overall experience.
Pooja
The place is compact yet cute ! We tried the immunity booster açai bowl & latte. The smoothie bowl was as good as it looks . Totally worth trying for people you love berries.
Kasturi Tikmani
A very compact place in Pali Hill. It is definitely invented for borderline health conscious soles. You’ll spot mostly fit models and celebrities here. They have crazy good food and juices. It is quite cute when it comes to the interiors. The service is punctual, the waiters helped me in selecting dishes.

Sequel reminds you of a classic European café. The vibe , the music, all reminiscent of a day in France. The menu is clean, healthy and nutritious. Sequel is an ideal place for clean-healthy food lovers. Their desserts are absolutely delectable And SUPER HEALTHY! Must try’s are - Zoodles in Pesto, the decadence and indulgence cake and the avocado mousse. Absolutely recommend one to go here!

Need A Hog-On Place With Your Yoga Buddies? Don’t Worry, Sequel Bandra Just Made Your Life Easier!
.
.
.
This little cafe is located in Bandra and serves healthy food in a really innovative way! You don’t really have to count your calories, they take care of it really well! Also, they’re one of the few places in Mumbai which serve smoothies that’ll blow off your mind!
.
.
.
The place is a little heavy on your pocket, but is a must! Apart from the food, the staff there is really polite and would love to suggest you food as per your requirement! Don’t forget to try Zoodles (They’re Zucchini Noodles)
.
.
.
In the picture: Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, Kale Chips, Avocado-Perfect Poach, Buddha Bowl
.
.
.
Ambience: 4/5
Food: 5/5
Value for money: 4/5
Nuzhat Mirajkar
Beautiful ambience with indoor and outdoor seating.

I tried the cacao avocado mousse which was smooth and creamy just the right way. The latte was good. Definitely going back for more to try their delightful menu. They have some interesting gluten options on their menu.

Service was excellent.
Anuj Mittal
Pathetic service. The server got us the ‘con artist’ salad bowl after an hour (no apologies of course). The best part however was he decided to replace the edamame by peas and completely ignore a couple of other ingredients mentioned in the description. When we checked the reason for this, he says he can get us edamame on the side (as if as a favour) and the other ingredients were not available! However the bigger issue in addition to the ridiculous service was the absolutely tasteless salad! And for sure we charged in full for the entire dish which was returned. Guys, all the best ! Thanks.
Madhumita Chatterjee
If you're looking for a healthy yet gourmet meal, this is the place for you. The ambience is calm and soothing with a very cute and green seating area outdoors and a pretty indoor lounge.
The food is fresh and the menu is very innovative. Taste wise, I would say that this is the best healthy food can get! The only complaint I had was portions which were not good enough for the price. But for most fine dines, it's a common thing.
My recommendation would be the Buddha bowl. A must try!
The black noodle bowl and avocado sunshine were good too. Again, one bowl won't be sufficient for a single person. Overall this place is worth a visit!

Sequel had been on my wish list for the longest time and finally I got a chance to visit this super place. The bandra outlet is pretty snug and cozy... though the music is a tad bit loud and makes it difficult to indulge in conversations when the restaurant is full. But the aromas from the kitchen and the yummy food makes up for everything that is not so perfect.

1. I ordered the crusher fresh cold pressed juice. Just as the description said it oozed of the berries, pineapple and sweet basil to perfection. A great refreshing drink.

2. Their sweet potato waffle - just before my order arrived the whole restaurant was filled with the smell of warm cinnamon and i decided to ask the waiter what the dish was. I just love cinnamon. And to my surprise it was the waffle in the making. The dish itself looked so pretty i didn’t wanna touch it. But the first bite and i was lost - in wonderland. It was the most amazing waffle i have eaten in all these years across countries. They nailed it.

3. The avocado taco - made with hand pressed cold flour shipped from kashmir, this was yet another delight to bite on. Not too heavy just the perfect quantity. Personally i found the garlic a bit on the heavier side.. otherwise this was lip smacking too.

4. Avocado mousse - this to my utter disappointment tasted so off that i had to return it. They were considerate enough to not include it in the bill. Hopefully another dessert the next time.

The restaurant is definitely pricey but i would say definitely worth every penny.

Revisited Sequel today...as wanted to have the Raspberry and Sour cherry jar smoothie which me and my friend had loved the last time we were there.
The ambience was nice and relaxed and i looked forward to catching up with my friend over raspberry smoothie.
But the service was a serious let down and robbed us of a pleasant experience.
Was Sequel understaffed or new untrained staff or just inept and dis interested staff? Please figure out.

We sat down..no one came to give us the menu or looked at us or motioned toward us or was showing signs of coming our way.
After 5 min or so we had to call them and ask.
Then after placing order and receiving we also realised that there were no tissues given to us and none on the table.
No one was paying attention to us or looking our way ever..we had to bring attention to us ...and asked for tissues.

Then,we asked for the bill. After 5 or more minutes..no sign of bill..2 people at the counter..busy..doing what i don't know.
Then i had to call out loud and request bill again.
And he acted as if it is first time i asked for it..no previous recollection.

My point is how can we relax and chill with friends if we are constantly trying to get someone to pay attention to us?
Also you charge 8% service charge...but if we feel we did not get any service are we not entitled to decline?
Maybe that's what's making them so complacent.

And by the way why have you'll stopped serving the smoothie in jars? Also the toppings are so sparse ..not generous at all.

Went on a Saturday morning with a strict agenda in our minds: healthy food. And we can't be happier about the place that we chose. Sequel has everything healthy and light for you to eat if you're in the mood. And if you're a health freak, then this place is heaven for you. We had their Acai smoothie bowl that had the goodness of acai berries, bananas, raspberries, cashew milk, chia seeds and granola. But the cherry on top were the Mexican dark chocolate chips on it. We also ate some eggs and avocado and our personal favourite was the avocado tartine. You'd love this if you want to soak the morning sun, have some healthy meal and some fun conversations. Would definitely visit this place again for their pancakes and waffles with a healthy twist.
Minali Talreja
Something new to try here, also very delicious and healthy at the same time. Ordered the Acai bowl full of different berries, a smooth mixture put together with vegan milk. Very light and hydrating, perfect for breakfast time. I think celebrities eat this. Avacado sunshine open sandwich is my fav. It's a must try. Very international taste to it
MSS Securities Pvt Ltd
A lovely healthy eating place . All authentic , carefully chosen ingredients . Each dish was freshly cooked after placing the order . I cherished jacket sweet potato dish and blue berry smoothie . The guy taking orders knew full details and explained very well . Enjoyed healthy , veg food . Ajit Sanghvi .

Could have been better in service and price seeing the likes of excellent healthy eateries- Bombay Salad Company and Farmer's just down the lane..

I give this place a 5 on 5 for everything!
Great healthy food, peaceful ambiance and wonderful taste and presentation of the food items! Perfect place to go when you crave healthy and tasty english food!
Aanandita Datta
If you are in a healthy eating spree.. you have to go here. They have good food made from organic ingredients. I really their berry smoothie and the black rice noodle. Quite flavorful .
A very quaint and boujee looking spot for delicious smoothies and healthy bites. Their menu is quite elaborate, however, somewhat heavy on the pockets. Nonetheless, the quality of the food and ambiance leave you feeling satisfied.

I ordered the Immunity Booster Acai Bowl and its presentation was too good to spoil-definitely Instagram worthy! The ingredients of the item tasted fresh and it certainly complemented the afternoon Bombay showers.

Verdict : Would highly recommend for health freaks, Instagrammers and food connoisseurs alike.
Natasha Sharma
A group of us had brunch here yesterday. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and bright, cheery ambience. The staff was polite and courteous. We ordered an array of things from juices, coffee to food. Overall group experience of food was good.

I ordered the poached eggs with add on salmon. The reason for the 3star is because I found the avocado was not adequately seasoned and the single poached egg looked a little lost on the plate... every restaurant that serves poached eggs serves 2 per portion... a little disappointed that the flavours of the dish did not come together as expected when I ordered this.
Yash Laad
I was here this afternoon for Diwali lunch . I’m so impressed with the quality of the food , each and every item used by sequel is organic and healthy type , it’s a paradise for health conscious people . The service was amazing , the ambience is good , on the whole the place gives a very comforting feel . We had the the Buddha bowl , the sequel cracker pizza and the the Balinese curry . Each of these three was delicious , sequel bistro and juice bar definitely a must try for some healthy food in Bandra

Best place for authentic bowls . Very healty and full of healthy love .I had other dishes to, was so indulged into them , that forgot taking photos but as it says love can only be in moment..

It's a hidden gem, can't believe we have never seen it untill today while looking for car parking ..we spotted this little place. As we stepped inside to have a look, it was impossible to not want to explore... The tables, flowers, wine bottles, awesome set up and vibe.
After a heavy lunch there was hardly any appetite but we chose to try a desert with coffee.
The weekend special dessert Soft Cacao tart was delicious ..may be not in the first bite as your tongue just gets acquainted to the pure dark rich cacao flavour but gradually with every bite this dessert grows on you.
They have options for coffee...vegan versions with almond milk, soy milk...you'll be spoilt for choices. We ordered a latte with almond milk...but didn't find it too great. Needed to add a lot of brown sugar but still couldn't get the desired flavour
The place is a heaven for those following healthy diets and cautious about what they feed their stomachs even while chilling on weekends. I will be going here for a full brunch very soon and I'll share my review bout that. :)

My experience was awesomely good. It was weekend, me and my husband was all waiting for weekend, so that we could go at sequel and taste some healthy and lip smacking dishes. And yes there we were enjoyed our cold pressed juice and berry and sour smoothie and avocado toast.
Instead of spending our hard earned money on fries and popcorn or any other junk, can’t it be spent on healthy food which to our knowledge it’s pure organic. Person can live up to some more years, if he or she is indulged on healthy food habits.

Taste just keep our buds happy nothing else but keep our stomach upset.
My thumbs are always up for sequel.
One more advice please start with some more branches in Mumbai.
Well the place is for all those who don’t prefer the normal Indian food...
Who r health conscious and who prefer salads over the regular food...
For people who r on a diet this is the place to go...
But, u need a very fat wallet for that...
The place is expensive.
The salad that we ordered was pretty average...
Not worth the price they r charging.
It’s a celeb frequented place...u might bump into in celeb next time u visit there.
The place had a very nice aroma cauz of the incense sticks.
Pay a heavy drive to eat ghass phoos.

Food was not at all upto the mark. Also the pricing was too high. Had heard a lot about this place but a total disappointment. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Located at a very prime location in Pali Hill, Bandra this cafe gives a very positive look to it. It is small yet very quaint and peaceful. They also have a very beautiful outdoor seating as well. The ambience is tastefully done and makes one feel very cosy and comfortable. We ordered a guacamole for starters, it was very tasty. For mains, we went for a black rice noodle bowl and a balinese curry with black rice. I think the noodles were a better dish than the balinese curry. It was quite fulfilling though for two people. I also ended up ordering one of
their cold-pressed juices.
The service was excellent and the staff was always on their toes. They provided great suggestions and were quite friendly as well.

Overall, a great place if you want to eat healthily. One of the very few places which offer great vegan food in Mumbai. Although a little on the expensive side but considering their ingredients are fresh and organic, it's not bad a deal.

Roasted Norwegian Salmon
There’s a lot to add to the story of this Meal. 😋
Starting with the now. I wanted to write about it before I started to eat, but then I had a realisation that the meal might go bad & I should finish it first (all this while waiting to finish the meal & start typing; which I did as soon as I did finish it). So, I’m a ‘Pescatarian’, a term which very few people are aware of. Pescatarian is also a Category of Vegetarians; people who are vegetarians but eat only Sea Food for its nutrients.

Now, back when I was in Delhi, I discovered about this restaurant via Instagram’s Feed. Since then I’ve been looking forward to having a meal here. It had been over 3 weeks in Mumbai & I didn’t get a chance to have a taste of it.

Today, finally when I’ve decided to go back to Delhi tonight, I didn’t want to leave this behind. And that’s how I finally came to cross this healthy eating place ‘Sequel Bistro & Juice Bar’ off of my List.

Will always look forward to have many more healthy meals at this place.

P.S- It’s seldom to find Salmon & that too with the purity of its taste. (🤫 I’ve heard that they have healthy Breakfast options too; as this place opens up at 8:00AM)

Place and ambience is good.. I ordered Açai bowl looking at the pics on Zomato. But to my agony the bowl size was nooooo where closer to the pics shown here. It’s wayyyyyy to small as small as a normal dal bowl at home. N it’s costed a whoooopppping Rs.825/- with tax. Taste was good. But not worth the price..

Sequel is my go-to and most favourite place at the moment since I’m also on a diet :p

Absolutely love the ambience. It’s very minimal and nicely done. The outside section is my favourite.

Getting to the food, the smoothie bowls are too die for. The Açai Bowl is number 1! The protein and power bowls are also amazing if you love a good cacao base.

I haven’t tried it but “The Avocado Sunshine” is one of the things my friends really love there.

Location: its located in the very prime Pali hill area which boosts of may high rated restaurants.

Ambience: they have created something which could well have been on location in New York or some other international city. Small but classy.

Menu: its all healthy healthy healthy. The dishes are something you won't find anywhere else as the combination is well cradled by the chef, and will remind you of the dishes tried by someone on masterchef or something.

Service: being a small place service is not an issue as someone is always on point to serve you or help you decide.

Food: finally this is where I think they have gone overboard. As said they could well be in New York for what they have created. But they food felt bland for some reason. Even the smoothie bowl didn't have enough sweetness to cut though the healthyness through, if u know what i mean. Wasn't very happy, but good on them to create something unique.

The açai bowl is not at all worth any Penny ..... way too much sour and has no taste of what açai is even like.... highly overpriced ! Totally disappointed.

Nice ambience and smoothie .... Açai bowl not up to expectation.... And wen the feedback was given the guy don't even wanna accept the fact. I wasn't the only customer giving the feedback.
Feedbacks are meant for the betterment of the place.
Açai isn't meant to be sour .... It's great that no sugar was added but check the recipe plz .... Thanks

Awesome place for people on a gluten free diet. The entire menu is gluten free and it’s quite delicious. Loved the presentations of the food esp the pancakes. Price is on the higher side but it’s worth it! We had the pancake, avocado on toast and one energise bowl. Only one complaint that the quantity of the energise bowl was too less for Rs 450.

The healthy food served by Azim was something different that we tasted today, he very well helped us in placing the order.
The inner ambiance is actually giving a good sense of refreshments.

A quaint place.. Small and cozy. Minimal interiors... All in whites and browns. Have a small outside arrangement outside. All in all its very pretty and cozy.

Now coming to the food... With the today's health conscious idea, this place serves the best healthy food. We had ordered Jigsaw (it's like egg akuri on toast) and waffles. I opted for a standard cappuccino to go along. They've all the options of milk. So if you want your health bowl to be served on front of you instead of making it yourself, go here and enjoy the serenity.

Sequel is a salad bar where the setting of the place is very minimal but you find a high class crowd. I tried the
SEQUEL BOWL
A Delightful experience merged with a beautiful presentation serves you an array of healthy food items individually sourced from different parts to make it to the plate.
List of ingredients
#hassavacado
#roastedchickpeas
#babyzucchini
#peasprouts
#heirloomtomatoes
#pomegranate
#cranberry
#prunes
#butterheadlettuce
#kale
#softboiledegg
Toped with a generous serving of #honey #lemonjuice #oliveoil #salt #pepper dressing
Food 4.5/5
Look and feel 4/5
Price 3.5/5
Service 5/5
A definate place to check out and go with your buddy. Although i didn't like the use of kale but that's just me.

If you are looking for something that is organic, pure, healthy and tasty this is the place. The staff is so courteous. They ran out of pan cakes being a Sunday. But on request Azim, the sweetest staff asked the chef to specially make it for me. I couldn't resist ordering multiple dishes. Ordered for their jigsaw scambled eggs (the best eggs I've ever had), norweigan smoked salmon salad (omg the dressing was to die for) mixed berry smoothie, almond flour and coconut pancakes and nice cream. The list doesn't end here. I ordered for something B... coconut milk and walnut curry and coconut yoghurt with toppings for dessert as take away. Guys you gotto develop a taste for this kind of food. As all these years we have been eating artificially flavored, processed food. This true taste of organic stuff will ignite your taste buds. Well me being a yogi and a dancer couldn't have expected this experience to be any better. On welcome Azim told me, "Ma'am you must try our coconut yoghurt dessert. You'll love it. Since it's your first visit, I will make sure you leave happy from here." Oh and bdw they touched my hearts even further. Being an animal activist also I couldn't stop myself from feeding 2 cats just outside their cafe on leaving. When I requested them for a bowl, they willingly offered me 2 bowls to feed them. This place tops my favorites, for food yes but moreover for their service. Great job guys!! Oh I forgot to click pictures of the food as it was so tempting. Can't wait to chat with this talented entrepreneur Vanika Choudhary. Bdw I'm not paid for writing this review. I'm just hungry for good food and good people.

go to this place only if you earn black money and don't pay taxes.. good place to burn away kala paisa.
the food the pretentious setting and the arrogant owner are all bad.. but when its extra money being shed its probably ok.. I think they have also opened the restaurant to convert black to white and make more black.. terrible overpriced place. Food.. unimaginative.. Acai bowl.. make it at home by looking at you tube. and that toast.. god have you heard of gupta sandwich or popular sandwich..trust me have it there..

Good place for having healthy food and cold press juices, they are promoting farm to fork concept, however they have not disclosed the time of being served in your plate once it is harvested from farm, but still you can feel it fresh.

Expensive. Didn't like the fact they've changed the menu during weekends. Didn't like the weekend menu at
all. Weekend menu should have more options. Barely 3-5 vegan options
Sappers
Azim, Sameer and Kamal are lively and pleasant from 8am in the morning and throughout the rest of the day. The food is an extremely good effort towards the healthy realm for Mumbai. However I do feel the prices can reflect the economic state at times, just a tad.

If you are looking for something super healthy and delicious, don’t miss out on this-
“Raspberry & Sour Cherry Smoothie” for Sequel.
It’s not only vegan but also filled with protein.
Also if you are an avocado lover do try their Avocado Toast, it’s amazing.

Jo Dikhta hai wo hota nahi! Fully enthusiastic after a gym I visited to have some thing to eat. Firstly they need to evolve for Indian market. It highly over priced in terms of the food and the space they have. Do not open whole day when you don’t have options to eat for Healthy Indians for the day! Save money time space and man power! :))

Small, quaint, peaceful cafe. Variety of juice and breakfast. We had coffee and pancakes. Loved the pancake. Seating arrangement for 20-30 people.

A lovely quaint little place perfect for a quick bite. The bowls and starters are absolutely delicious and do not pack on unnecessary calories which makes you walk away guilt free and happy!
We grabbed dinner here a few days ago and shared a Buddha Bowl, the portions are pretty decent and given that we wanted to indulge in dessert, shared the bowl. Accompanied by the crusher: a lovely medley of berries and sweet basil with a touch of orange and the detox smoothie which had kale. The buddha bowl had a lovely balance of textures: the crunch from the seeds and sweet potatoes and the creaminess of the purée with the rainbow cabbage, leaves and saukerkraut brining it all home! And for dessert we had the chocolate tart, a simple classic dessert made with raw cocoa which wasn’t too sweet.
One of my favourite healthy holes in the gastronomic wall!

Sequel offers you a wide range of healthy options.
Over a few visits have tried the Immunity booster Acai Bowl, Sweet potato fries, Avocado nut and seed toast that tops my favourite. The menu offers you a wide range of choices and just a visit to this place and rate it would be unfair. Yes I do agree it's priced very high but the quality of ingredients used and the effort gone into presenting you an picture perfect bowl or plate is justified.

Azim was a fantastic host the food was exceptional and so was the service .the salmon with the forest mushroom is to die for . And the smoothie that he recommended was also great. Surely will be a regular here

Planned a Mother's Day dinner for my mom since she obsesses over healthy meal. Absolutely loved our wholesome salad, raspberry smoothie and guacamole starter.
Felt so full towards the end.
Azim is the man behind the suggestions for making it worthwhile. His hospitality is warm and he did give us that extra byte of the peanut and almond butter that were yummmmm!
Loved the cute ambience and the food tastes great!

The salad bowl looked wow & tasted good... but point is the staff has no courtesy to let friends sit we were 3people sitting for meeting. Ordered salads and time was 8.30pm 2nd may. We sat chit chatting for almost 2hours which their closing time 10-30pm. Staff almost forced us to push out while we saw many sitting in the cafe. Salad was not even half finished.

People come to cafe to eat & have a good time i guess if this is how clients is treated then its a sad thing to write this review.

I would not recommend anyone to go there unless thats the only option available.

Food -3/5
Staff- 1/5
Ambience-4/5

There’s no place I’d rather eat out than at Sequel. I have yet to come across a place in Bombay that serves such honest food. On the menu itself, there are no tricks, no gimmicks, just a detailed explanation of fresh and mostly local ingredients, a true definition of clean eating.
What initially took me to Sequel was their claim to be serving Gluten Free, Refined Sugar free and as organic as possible food. Vanika was quick to clear any doubts I might have had that the claim was an honest one. If asked, she is always happy to share the macros of any dish they serve, which is more than I can say for many other “healthy” eateries in the city.
My all time favourites are the Buddha Bowl, Vegan Protein bowl, Italian Heritage, Sour Cherry jar, Coconut Yogurt parfait, Going nuts.. I could go on and on.
I’ve never had trouble with the staff, they’ve always been helpful and courteous, and mostly well informed.
I understand that the cost of eating healthy and organic will always be higher than that of tasty yet really bad for you food. To me, mine and the health of my family is of utmost importance, all costs set aside.

Sequel is like a second home to me and my family, the staff at sequel have always been helpful, well informed and polite. My all time favorite dish is the big heist, cracker pizza, sour cherry jar and now my new favorites are the salmon and nice cream.
Amazing healthy food! Went there with a friend for the first time today and had a hard time deciding what to get - I wanted to try everything on the menu!

All the ingredients are fresh and you can taste the goodness! They change the menu (designed by the owner - Vanita) every couple of months to use the freshest seasonal produce. The staff is friendly and the vibe is very relaxed and warm.

Started with some cacao smoothie with almond milk and dates, topped with chia seeds (very good) and kombucha (slightly acidic for my taste, but still delicious). Then we had the avocado toast with a poached egg - the bread base was crumbly and flavorful and the avocado was fresh. My friend called for one of the health bowls with berries, cacao and oats and I had the dish with zoodles, avocado, some nuts and berries and tomatoes, which was incredible! For dessert we tried the Nice cream with cacao, peanut butter, frozen bananas and other decadent goodies and the brownie (both were very good!)

Can’t wait to visit again to try the rest of the items on the menu!

Horrible. Let’s start from there. The main course sucked. The pancakes were horrendous. It was overall just shit. Oh and let’s not forget there was a bee in the restaurant.

This place is perfect for tasty nutritional food!
A lot of options for healthy eating..
We ate Avacado Sun Shine and also tried Apple crumble(dessert of the day) both were quiet good. it serves pretty decent portions for two. Will surely visit again to try something else.
