Review Villa Vandre - Mumbai

Shreyas Nair
This is a beautifully done cozy little place. I had visited this place with a couple of my friends. The server suggested us some dishes, and it was absolutely a treat. The herbal teas were also really well done.. A must visit if you wish to try the brunch here.

Great food and a really cozy ambiance. I tried out the Mediterranean Salad which was different and unusual in a good way. I also tried out the East Indian Sausages with Cheesy Mash and it was very well balanced. The Cherry Pannacotta had the perfect texture and I believe the cherry compote is made in house which was delicious. Service was great and the staff was friendly. A great opening for Bandra and just hope a bigger outlet opens soon.

Quaint little place with great food. Often busy and filled with conversation. Tried out Mexican, Indian and Continental cuisine. Everything was brilliant. Deserts were decent but a bit of a let down after the high standards set by the mains

Location: 4/5. Well-located for walkers. Parking can be tricky to find in the neighborhood, but who drives to a cafe? Ambience: 3/5. Tiny place with neat decor. Very little elbow room on the tables for two. Food: 4/5. Had their eponymous breakfast. Everything tasted good. The coffee was the standout. Service: 4/5. Polite and practical. They turned down my request to prepare two eggs differently, though (I'd asked for one boiled and the other poached). VFM: 3/5. Like most cafes in Bandra West, the place isn't super-expensive, but still feels like you're paying a slightly higher price, for the location, than the food/service would deserve on their own. #VisitedOnlyOnce

A really small but lovely place. Had the prawn curry and the sri lankan water buffalo fry and both were very good. The restaurant doesn't take reservations so reach early or be prepared to wait

Had breakfast here and it's worth it...pork sausages are delicious...ambient is calm and cozy with soft music playing in background... Bit difficult to locate though unless you have been here before...all in all with small space it's making many people delighted with their awsum service and food.

Hidden away in a tiny lane, Villa Vandre has as surprisingly superb menu. The East India Sausage Fry is to die for.

Good food. The AC could be turned down a notch - it was too cold. Cute little place, but a little too little for me.

Such good food! I really miss the Hot chocolate from this place. Sadly closed down. :(

Hot chocolateeeee 😍 yum yum yummm!
Best hot chocolate I've ever had hands down.
The grilled chicken burger was fine. Can be avoided.
The chicken roulade was pretty good.
The lemon raspberry soda was surprisingly really nice. The aftertaste of raspberry jelly totally excited my taste buds.
Would want to visit again to try the other dishes and of course have the hot chocolate again!

I thoroughly enjoyed a dinner for two here. The medium rare grilled tenderloin I ordered was done to perfection, and the green roast chicken was so intriguingly spiced. I found the bread pudding for dessert a tad too sweet but I loved it all the same.

We went here for a Sunday breakfast after several recommendations. Bumped into a friend who again said this was a great place and also added that breakfast wasn't their best time. We found the place packed (which isn't great as it's a tiny place). Food was not bad but not great either. Maybe we will try again but haven't found any pull so far. Try this place if you are in this area else skip.

You can't reserve a table here.the place is small but very cosy....perfect for a dinner if you have come to carters..just walk in here..we love the spinach raviolis.
Can't stop raving about how good the food is over here! Also, the place is extremely cute, with large windows, sky blue walls and lace curtains, giving a feel-good vibe.

I loved their Khurram Salli par eedu- lip smacking and made me wipe the dish clean... I was not willing to share the dish (trust me !!!)

Also loved their salli chicken - tangy, tomato gravy (true to its description) and the crisp potato straws took the dish to another level

Definitely going back here!!!

Call it good luck or whatever you may, but I find myself blessed to end up eating at restaurants that turn regular meals into really memorable ones. So much so, that I have the desire to keep coming back for more. That said, this tiny little space tucked away in a non-descript lane is a delightful place with exceptionally great food! After a long and tiring work day, the last thing you'd want is to go hungry to bed. What I failed to realise while ordering here is the portion size of the food is fantastic and well, more than enough to satisfy those pangs.
A colleague and me started off with strong and heady cappuccinos followed up with a beautiful and hearty Oink Oink sandwich and the Goan chorizo on a bed of mash potatoes. The sandwich, stuffed with thinly cut slices of slow-cooked pork, ham and onions was a pleasure to bite into although the pork was slightly dry for my liking. The onions, brown due to the caramelisation added a different dimension of flavour to the beautiful pork. The star of the evening however, was the Goan chorizo which transported us right back to the sandy beaches of Goa. Apart from the fact that it came nestling in a bed of the creamiest, luscious mashed potato, the flavours of the sausage seeped into the tangy gravy and created a whole range of flavours that felt like a circus on our tongues.
Of course, the meal would be incomplete without a bit of a sugar rush and the gulab jamun and rabdi tart justified why we must come back for more soon! That said, any dessert with gulab jamun in it is always welcome. The perfect texture play in the tart and the delicate taste of both, the rabdi and gulab jamuns is what did it for me. The tart not being oversweet was another bull's eye moment for the chef at Villa Vandre. Quick and courteous staff and great service and (how can I not) the tempting breakfast menu will bring me back again! Very soon!

Villa vandre is a tiny quaint eatery which impresses with quality, taste and service.I tried the raw papaya and mango salad which was fresh and crushed masala add to the flavour combinations.Ghadiali au gratin is creamy and rich. Its diced veggies in a white sauce, well seasoned and perfect for diners whibdont like chilli. Zucchini spagetti was innovative but oily snd the jalapeños werent tasting right. Do try their bangers and mash, prawn curry and dhansak. Meat lovers will find a variety of dishes to savour. Dessert was chocolate mousse which was yum and baked gulab jaamun rabdi tart was different. Ifound it too sweet. I wish i could try out more things from your menu. I 'll be back!

Extremely small location and hidden away in the bylanes of bandra..but the food and the service is amazing. Many of the dishes are straight out fusion and some are exceptional items picked from foreign locales.... the owners tend to involve in getting your feedback up front and make their best efforts to keep you happy. But do check the times as there is a window in which they remain closed ..worth a trip with your significant other..

Place is a little hidden gem in the by lanes of bandra. Quaint and cozy place with a homely ambiance . Went for breakfast and ordered the villa vandre breakfast combo..Food turned out to be an authentic and classic English breakfast . Sausages were one of the best I have had..will surely visit next time ..must try !!

Reminds me of those idyllic cafes on the roadside. Its a little difficult to find the place as the sign outside isn't all that clear. You'd think you were outside a nail spa. We had the risotto with basil and mustard, which was decent, but too much mustard. Hopefully, I will come the next time and try more of what it has to offer.

In a tiny fancy place, villa vandre gives you a huge variety of different flavours. We started off with coolants - raspberry lemon soda, blueberry slush and kiwi caipiroshka. The drinks were really good and very refreshing. My favourite was the kiwi caipiroshka! 😁 We ordered the chicken roulade, mushroom onion and sage back and veg spicy burger for main course. I'm not a fan of veg food and the spicy veg burger wasn't spicy at all! Loved the chicken roulade, and the mushroom onion sage back had strong flavour of mushroom, I like mushroom so this was a good choice for me! 😁
Overall I liked the non veg over the veg and I think I'd love to try a few more non veg dishes some other time.
Baked gulab jamun with rabdi tart was one unique westernised Indian desert that I couldn't get enough of! Yummiest tart, a must try. ❤
Good food, tiny space but really good ambience and fills your tummy without digging a hole in your pockets. 😋

Quaint little place - the decor is very cute ! Tried getting a table twice however 3rd times a charm in our case... the food here really feels like it's been cooked with care & love. We had the Friday curry & Coronation chicken sandwich. Thoroughly enjoyed the same. Hope to visit again soon

Cute little place in the bye lanes of bandra. Pretty much love everything on the menu - the breakfast bagel, English breakfast, mutton dhansak, catch of the day, chicken scallopini. Tried it all. Loved it all. You name it. Always love to keep coming back.

Instead of trying new places, I have been on a refresher course of sorts, where in I am paying my visit to a lot of old ones. It serves as a refresher of why I first fell in love with these places! Villa Vandre is one of these magnificent places. Food for the soul is what I like to refer to it as.

well had been here for breakfast.
the pan cakes were very thick and seemed a little uncooked, the ambiance is cute, i have seen such positive reviews therefore went ahead, may be a bad day for the, but did not find the breakfast fascinating, but the place is nice.
Greedy Garrulous Gorger
A nice cute very small joint situated in a quiet corner near Perry cross bus-stop.

what stood out other than the food is the smiling friendly person who helped us choose food and also served us with a smile.

We tried Homemade East Indian Sausage Fry which had a balance of tanginess with a creamy flavour of the mashed potato. It was a complete fusion of taste.

Mutton Dhansak with Brown Rice was a proper mix of lentils and mutton was in literal sense tasty to the core and complete fit our palate soothing out heart.

If you are glutton and really want to taste different flavours in food this place is a must try.

Visited this quaint little place yesterday for a quick dinner with friends. First of all, loved the ambience and the subtle entrance (so subtle i passed by twice without spotting it, ha ha) of the place.

Now coming to food, i only ate Napolitan Crepes so I will state that I need a few more visits. My dish was cheesy, well stuffed but lacked a distinct taste or punch.

The parsi tea ordered by my friends was decent but not strong enough to qualify as a Parsi tea. So far, mixed feelings about this place but I will come back to try more stuff here soon.

Till then, 3.5/5 from me, do go ahead and visit here, especially if on a date. I would say a little heavy on the pocket, but most places in Bandra are similarly overpriced. Cheers!!

If you are a breakfast person ... This is the place to be... The Villa Vandre Breakfast is the greatest way to start your day especially an occasion. Watching my 70 year old uncle relish the Keema Pav was worth waking up early...

Amazing place with delicious food, worth every penny you pay.
Ordered for East Indian Sausage Fry, Green Roast Chicken, and Kheema Salli Par Edu which is my fav here :)
Bread & Butter Pudding which was the Desert of the day, was outstanding!!
Thank you :)
Absolutely amazing early Suturday breakfast. Had Villa Vandre breakfast. .....was so happy with how every dish on the plate tasted that we dug in the moment it arrived. Chicken sausages, fluffly customised omelette, baked beans, helping of ham, crispy hash browns waffles and perfect cup of cappuccino = to a super perfect start to a beautiful day.

Polite staff and relaxed atmosphere was a bonus..
Must visit....
For the starters this place is very difficult to locate for person who is not a local. It doesn't have significant signboard & the entry is very narrow as well. Although in address the place says Pali Hill but in reality it's closer to Turner Road. The place is small & the owners have tried to give it the ambience of European style eatery which they do successfully in partial manner. Sadly it has a typical odour which u normally come across in Irani cafes. We ordered some items from their on-going Bandra Fest specialities like East Indian pork vindaloo which was ok but I must say the Pav which they served were super fresh & I literally gorged on few. Veg Friday curry was real disappointment as more than vegetables it had French fries which made no sense to me. Since the place is small hence the tables are further smaller & no way you can eat your food safely without having an accident. So who should go here? Well it's an ideal place for college going crowd especially new couples who can find good amount of privacy here with no heavy burden on their pockets. Signing off...

It's a small and congested place. But the interiors are done well. Overall a cute place to catch up. The food here is average. I ordered there deviled pasta, spicy veg burger and hummus salad sandwich. Along with this I ordered chatpata watermelon and pomegranate cooler. The drink is suppose to be their speciality but I dint find anything great about it. The spicy burger was good and it's patty was huge and flavourful, although there was nothing spicy about it. The humus salad sandwich is a good option for all those who want to opt for something healthy. The deviled pasta was honestly a disaster. I dint like it at all. Despite my experience not being so great I would rate this place a 3.5, as I think they have a lot more to offer in their menu especially to the non vegetarians.

Small quaint place very famous for their breakfast, we however went there for.lunch. The place is extremely pretty. We tried the beef and some of their pasta which was delicious.

Lovely small cozy place.
Someone said their food is 'honest home style'.
That's true. Good place to recharge yourself.
No frill, simple plate, kind staff(they know their food well and good at taking care of customers).
Good to go there two or three, four will be at most.

This place has good quality food. It's a small place so it tends to get crowded during the afternoons at lunch time. The burger we ordered was pretty good. We went at breakfast and ordered the pancakes which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall average dining experience, nothing that stood out as over the top.

The place is wonderfully made.simple and gives you a feel of old Bandra. 1st thing that impressed me was the Menu. Excellent mix of dishes from all over the world. Ordered for a variety of dishes and oh boy, each and every one of them were outstanding. Must haves are the salli chicken, east india sausages, prawn curry, the Parsi chai. Staff was excellent and service was fast even on a Sunday night. I am surely going to be a regular here. It's a gem and I hope they do well enough to last for many many years to come

The little piece of happiness... Villa Vandre is so famous that you really really need to make an effort to be able to get a table. After couple of attempts one being the date night, we finally managed to get in just in nick of time - for within the next 15 mins there every table had foodies drooling over the menu...
The special occasion -Bandra fair, had brought in the special menu.....
We tried Captain Curry (lamb with Goan curry) and Bangers & Mash (pork sausages) accompanied with masala chai and kiwi caprioska (mocktail)
I am sorry if this hurts anyone but the Goan curry is an acquired taste and I am yet to get use to it.. The tangy tomato and onion gravy was too tangy for my taste buds- having said that the lamb pieces were perfectly cooked and had a healthy helping of fat. I could have enjoyed few more pieces though!!!
Bangers & Mash was a rock star both Mash and sausages were really really delicious.. Its been couple of weeks now and I can drool over it. Both kiwi caprioska was well mixed and complimented the Mash.. Masala ya was the ready mix and served the purpose...
Overall the experience was good but then few things here and there needs improvement..
Table had crumps, service isn't that prompt (but are friendly and helpful) and I didn't notice if they had a washroom - maybe their popularity takes them to a bigger place and they satisfy more foodies like you and me...
Villa Vandre!! The name itself asks you to explore this hidden cosy (laid back, a plus plus) cafe in the bylanes of Bandra!!
Choosing it for a light casual dinner on a Sunday evening turned out to be a wise call, with we dropping in around 9ish and getting a table for 2 immediately, which isn't the case usually.
The moment you enter, it takes you to one of those Goan cafes, and I fell in love with the simplicity of this one. Ambience, Lighting, Seating, Staff... I have no complaints at all.
Coming to food, we opted for
1. Thai Inspired Papaya and Raw Mango Salad
2. Grilled Chicken Burger
With such filling portions, that it sufficed a complete scrumptious meal for two.
Chatpata Watermelon and Pomegranate Cooler, and Sparkling Pineapple Ginger Ale Cooler did a fantastic job.
Finally, the desserts.. To choose from their "White Board" display, Rabdi Tart seemed a bit unusual though it tasted okayish, while you need a good appetite to relish their desserts.
And may be they can come with a few more items on their cute limited menu.

This is a cute tiny place near Pali Hill which I discovered while walking on the streets! It is supposed to be a concept restaurant with the feel of a Villa in Bandra, while the size of the place may not do justice to the concept, but once you enter the ambience and warmth is true to the idea. The restaurant is opened by a chef who has travelled to many places and crafted a menu basis his experiences globally and infused it with a few Parsi dishes whose recipes have been inherited from his wife's family! Also what you must know about this place, is that you are up for a surprise periodically since they keep altering their menu! In case you do return to eat what you liked , beware! Coz it may have got replaced with something even better :)

The service was quick, the food was delicious, the only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the table wear ... the glasses, plates, cutlery seem very basic and does not go with the overall theme!

Suchana11
Villa Vandre is an adorably cosy café serving scrumptious food tucked in one of the bylanes of Bandra. Both the veg Panini and the devil's pasta (spaghetti arrabiata) that we'd ordered for, were flavourful, filling and fantastic!
Sanket Tiwari
Courteous, well versed with the menu along with preferences of their patrons and a cozy, flippant, day after the party calm type of ambience, this place is a winner,The food hits home, and home comes calling in every dish with the finesse of almost fine dining.Chicken roulade, eedu, custard, life all seemed good there for a moment, ill be going again, and again, they serve you with after morning booze breath and lost voice, unslept grooming and at your groggiest with the warmth of a tanning bed, thank you for just being. This is my favorite place in Bandra. Love their breakfast spread, mash potatoes and pancakes... This should be a must visit place for anyone! The only food item I perhaps didn't like was the Napolitan Crepe.

Been here thrice already and this place NEVER disappoints. Everything you order will blow your mind away. The staff is friendly. The place is super clean. One of the partner is always there to take care of the walk ins and help them with their order. Totally recommend this place. Not very damaging to the pocket as well. It's a wholesome package :)

This place is such a hidden gem! ❤️ absolutely love it! The place is very tiny but interiors are done up so well! Everything was perfect right from the service to the food! The owner herself is present and attends to every guest so well! I ordered the fiery chicken sandwich and it was delicious! My friends ordered the oink oink sandwich and the chefs special - tofu in curry sauce. Everything was just spot on! The bread they used in the sandwiches was so nice! Next time am going to ask them if I can purchase the bread!
Always going to come back here! And would recommend to anyone who loves food and loves to discover unknown tiny places!

Limited menu but good food. Its a small picturesque place and the chef's wife is a delight as she politely comes by to help customers with their orders. The pulled pork burger is my favorite. Pray that the chef isn't around to take your order, he is an impatient person who is easily irritable. The food makes up for it though. No booze. Iv enjoyed my breakfasts there a couple of times.

What a delightful little place this is!
Went there on Sunday for lunch and was absolutely and pleasantly surprised. Each order was perfect and lip smacking.
We started with Chicken Russian cutlet - melt in the mouth and a great start to the meal. Then we ordered Thai raw papaya and mango salad - quite a generous portion this was. But wonderful flavours, perfect tart, crunchy peanuts and crispy rice noodles add so much character and taste.
The Chicken Salli also ranked high with its aromatic gravy, succulent chicken and of course the crispy salli. Only I wish the Pao served was authentic vis a vis the general store kind. The Raspberry lemon soda is a must have and so is the freshest Melon smoothie - very very refreshing.
For dessert - Lagan Nu Custard CANNOT be missed. Delicate, smooth and perfect sweetness, the best I have had so far. The Mousse too was good but once I ate the Lagain nu custard, anything after that would be tough to impress.
Wanted to try so much more, but I guess will leave that for another day and many others.

The place is tiny but real cozy. The food is very good. I've been on two occasions. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was that the hot chocolate which I absolutely loved the first time dint quite taste as good the second time. #komalskorner

Beautifully subtle place. Delicious food on offer. Very helpful managers and staff. We had Kheema Salli, Mutton Jardaloo. Kheema was bit spicy but all the spices well cooked with egg covering on top. Mutton Jardaloo served with pav has distinct Indianness in the taste. Over all the experience was amazing. Small and well decorated place. Must try.

Service is top notch! The gently flavoured prawns are a must try! Unfortunately I went at a time when I couldn't have the main course. The day's special dessert Gulab Jamun and Rabdi Tart was innovative and heavenly! I could've had a full meal of that. This place is a must visit more than once.

I actually don't exactly remember the names of the dishes we ordered but whatever it was, was yummm! My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the breakfast! :)

Loved this cute little place.. seemed like I was being served fancy food right in the comforts of my living room! :)
We ordered the caeser salad with grilled chicken and the indian rock star.. both were served promptly and were yummy..
If you would like to try nice food in a cozy environment, this is the place..

This is a cute little place located in a lane off Carter road, a favourite for breakfast.. The chicken and cheese omelette and French toast is not to be missed.. Great for mains too, a favourite for a small group

Having received rave reviews of Villa Vandre, I finally decided to visit the place and try it out myself!
It's a tiny place in a narrow bandra by-lane, but exudes the warmest vibes.
We called for a spicy veg burger, which was absolutely fantastic! It's one of the best burgers I have had (and trust me, I am no burger fan).
Next on our list was the Durban bunny chow - this was a unique dish, which had a hollow bread loaf stuffed with gravy. We had a good time figuring how to eat it, but weren't very impressed with how it tasted.
The juices are pretty average, and so are the desserts. However, what I liked most about the place is the fairly large variety of vegetarian options that they offer.
I may not have had the best meal here, but would definitely like to visit again for their delectable breakfast ! :)
Shashwat Shetty
It's a cute lil place that serves delicious pasta and filling burger! Visited this place yesterday with a friend, ordered for a yummy kiwi caipiroshka and a raspberry lemon soda! The caipiroshka was the best thing I have ever had, raspberry lemon soda was average! The pasta was a pink sauce pene which had a decent quantity with good pieces of chicken in it. The grilled chicken burger too was tasty! All in all it was a filling delicious food with affordable prices!
Rara
Chewy, tough poor quality buffalo meat - had to throw away half of the Sri Lankan Beef dish.
1.5 stars because they agreed to customise the additional ingredients to my taste.
Avoid...such bad quality meat is absolutely inacceptable.
Vernon Fernandes
Honestly if it was just about their two signature dishes i'd give this place a 10/5. Must must try the bangers n mash and the east indian sausage fry! They do have a nice expanded menu too with a whole lotta meaty dishes....so if that's what you crave this is a place for you hands down. Food is definately their USP.

Where the place doesn't do well is on cramped seating, endless waiting and most importantly...u just kinda feel pressured to gobble down your food. Which sucks!
Daisy Rajkhowa
This is a cute little cafe right in the heart of Bandra. I love this place more for the ambience and appeal than the food. It is a very nicely down pretty looking warm

Coming to the food, I feel the selection is limited but good. I really wish they added more stuff to the menu. I look at this place more from a tea/juice-sandwich place and not for major meals.

I had gone their during one of their special menu days for lunch and found the rice and chicken curry strictly OK.
SW
So I've eaten here twice since it opened and both times I've left wondering what's to hype about? Sure the place looks good and they've made the most of a small space (hence the 3stars) but the food is far from satisfying.

My companion and me ordered an Italian Margherita sandwich with shredded chicken and a Roasty Toasty and a fresh lime soda.

The Margherita was ok but then again it doesn't have much besides cheese, tomatoes and basil and shouldn't have taken 20 minutes to prepare. The fresh lime soda was fine. The place wasn't packed to capacity either so the delay was a bit surprising.

My Roasty Toasty took another 10 minutes to arrive and by then I was starving and already picturing how nice the combination of roasted eggplant and seared mushroom would be. But.....

If ever a hero failed to deliver and was completely overpowered by a villain then it's here. Although the description promised eggplant and mushroom I couldn't taste any of these I could only see them on my plate - and that's because all I could taste was onion, onion, and some more onion. I'm just glad I wasn't on a date - one word to describe it? Disappointing!

The place doesn't have a washroom which was fine by me but I'm sure some people would mind.

To be honest although it's well priced (we paid 747/- for the meal) I failed to understand the service charge of 7℅. There was only one waiter/steward and another lady (who I'm presuming was the owner/partner). As far as I know service charge is not mandatory by GOI it is up to the eatery to decide. For a staff of two it seemed unnecessary to add 7℅ SC.

Would I go back? Maybe for a coffee because the place does look nice, but definitely not for a meal.

Would I recommend it to my friends? Hmmm...

One of those places that reminds of the cafes you visited in France and Europe. It s a small cosy place which is very well managed by a superb lady. She is very prompt when it comes to service and always wears that magical smile when she serves you, suggests you or takes away your used plates. The interiors are very well done and the music just adds to it. Coming to the food, we had a hummus sandwich which was ok, akuri with toast which was really good, a roll, masala tea and banoffee. The baked gulabjamun and rabri tart was something new. In all a perfect cosy place for a morning breakfast. Must visit breakfast place in Mumbai.

Looking time was waiting to dine at this place with trip of my life...This is tiny cute looking small place in bylanes of bandra..had read a lot bout it and it stayed right there to all its praise till date..The staff out there is so caring and courteous towards as soon as u step into t place..Coming to food..one of the best food I have had in last few months..perfectly grilled chicken in chicken scallion followed by an amazing chicken gravy in dhansak..followed by the dessert a unique mix of gulabjamun and rabid baked in a tart...awesoommee food nd ambience and the overall experience..highly recommended for food lovers

Hard to find but interesting place. Decent food with good and varied cuisine. The downer is that the service pace is too frenetic and fast - almost like they want to get you out and use the table for the next cover. Good for a fast food or udupi restaurant but not such a place. Also the owner / manager is not friendly or welcoming. We were celebrating a birthday and had told them that before coming. Despite that she raised a big fuss when we cut a cake (we enquired and they didn't sell cake). Go for a quick meal but avoid if you are looking for fine dining or a peaceful conversation over dinner.

very very well done by the owners who are super nice! it is what it is, super cheap super simple food but at least its honest. tucked away it a little hard to spot but its just by yoga cara. we grabbed a quick breakfast before work, i got the breakfast platter eggs and hash were good but quality of the meat was meh. my co worker like her waffle so all in all for the price not bad. i do want to come back for this burger i keep hearing about though!

pro-tip - i would get the platter again. (anyone try the burger?)

There's only been one other time where I've rated a restaurant a perfect 5. N this one truly deserves it. After having heard about it for nearly a year,I finally managed to come here on a rainy Tuesday. N I must say, this place definitely lived upto my expectations. The food is excellent. I'd taken my fly for a treat to a 'new' place an I was afraid the food wouldn't live upto their expectations, what with them being typical East-Indians and having had some of the classics on the menu. But they loved it and couldn't stop raving abt how good it was. We tried the Pork Tambrinath and the Chicken Roulade and Perfection is the word for them both. The Pork is cooked to perfection. Extremely tender that even the fat melts in your mouth. That good. The chicken Roulade too was flavourful. One of the best paprika noodles I've eaten and the spinach filling was nice and crunchy. The staff was extremely sweet. Very decent and polite. Ambience too was perfect. A tiny, cozy and quaint cafe that's a little difficult to locate but a must-try on every non-vegetarian's list. Sorry vegans, this place is just not for you. Definitely coming back here!
Thankyou Chef Aloysius and your entire team!

The restaurant is small but cozy and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

I've been here thrice so far and I can't wait for the fourth time.

The dishes I've tried are:

Sali Margi - Superb, full of flavour without being in the least bit spicy (a common theme for all their food)
Akuri - Traditional parsi breakfast dish (similar to scrambled eggs) Creamy and packed with flavour
Kheema Pao - slightly spicy mutton mince cooked beautifully. (order it with a fried egg)
Sri Lankan Beef - A superb combination of beef and coconut with coriander.
Bangers and Mash - Lovely meaty pork sausage with creamy mash potatoes and brown sauce
East Indian Goa Sausage - My absolute favourite so far. Tangy goa sausage resting on a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with a fried egg. Lovely textures, flavours and the mash potato is to die for.

This is rapidly becoming my favourite restaurant in Bandra.

Location: A really small joint in the jigsaw puzzle kinda streets of Bandra. Very easy to miss if we didn't follow the Google maps.

Ambience: A nice cozy ambience and is beautifully lit up with soft music. Good place to hang out with a partner or just a couple of friends but not meant for a large groups.

Food: We ordered Peach Iced tea, Chicken Roulade, Zucchini spaghetti & Mushroom onion sage bake. The first 2 dishes were nice. I especially loved the stirred fried vegetables that came with the Chicken Roulade. It had a nice subtle flavor which I love. The peach Iced tea didn't have enough flavor of tea as I could only taste peach in that but it was ok, not an issue to me as I just wanted something to drink. Although I didn't have the Mushroom Onion Sage bake but my friend who had it said that it was a bit watery which they very humbly compensated for with a complimentary desert which brings me to their service.

Service: Found this to be the best part of this place. The servers and the owner of this restaurant are by far the most cordial team I've ever met. They were friendly and although my friend didn't complaint about the Mushroom Onion Sage bake but the owner saw that she left it half finished in the bowl and felt bad to have served it like that. She came to my friend and requested her to order something in desert that'll be on the house. Although we politely refused still she insisted and gave us the beautiful Fresh Fruit Trifle and it was the highlight for us of this place. Will definitely order that next time when I go there.

Overall: Good food & great service together makes this place a definite winner! Keep it up guys!!

Had the most amazing Waffles, Baked beans with toast, Veg Brekkie Wraps and Hot Cholocate. The place is really cute, the staff is very courteous and the service is prompt.

Absolutely love this place.
It is nice, small and quiet. And their food is delicious.
Do try their Breakfast combo, and dishes from their 'Travels around the world section'.

I have been to villa vandre a number of times and it never disappoints. Their breakfast, sandwiches, specials, desserts and beverages are all fresh, delicious and well prepared. I love their new menu since it gives me, a vegetarian, more options to choose from. The ambience is cheerful, though the air conditioning sometimes gets too strong for me. The place is very efficiently run and it's impressive how they manage to accommodate so many diners in such a small area. While their portions are mostly filling for one person, they could be more generous with some items like pasta. However, that's not going to stop me from more trips to villa vandre!

The entire buzz surrounding this place was too strong to ignore. Not the easiest place to find at all even after knowing bandra so well. Right between China Blue and A Convenient Store sits a Tiny yet elegant place. ( Need a bigger sign board that says Villa Vandre especially in the rain).

The place looks extremely lovely and decor gives out good vibes. The light blueish walls gives a peaceful vibe.

The service is really quick and the people taking care of us were really kind. And helped us decide what would be ideal to have for dinner.

After much of the dilemma we finally decided to order A portion of Green Roast Chicken which looks really lovely and simple similar to the Goan Green Chicken Curry only difference was it was dry. Next we ordered a chicken Roulade which by far was the best dish and really keeps thoes tastes buds wanting more.
To quench our thirst we order A Citrus Cooler and Tangy Chatpata Watermelon Cooler which was suggested to us by the courteous man taking our order.
Deserts Deserts something we couldn't leave without tasting. First up was an odd yet lovely Gulab Jamun and Rabdi Tart something which I haven't seen before and having tasted Rabdi for the first time was really nice along with the Gulab Jamun. Next up was the Dark Belgium Chocolate Mousse , the name just makes me drool. Lovely presentation and tastes equally up to the mark.
The entire experience at Villa Vandre was really lovely definitely visiting it again. Even with a limited menu it manages to give you everything you would need and even more.

What a great find! This cute, little cafe off Perry cross road is a great place for a relaxed brunch, lunch, coffee or dinner. Basically, anyone you go, you're gonna feel happy! The food is yum! Try the Friday curry! The dessert that we ordered (the trifle) was underwhelming though. However, that won't stop me from visiting them again!

Certainly not my type of food as I am a person who loves spicy Indian food. But on insistence of friend, we went there for a lunch and voila- half an hour of wait!
So reservation is recommended at least on weekends! And yes the place is difficult to find too.
The food is good for the price they are charging.
American and European food lovers will love it.
Villa Vandre
Food and Beauty

After months of seeing the wonderful pictures, few days back we finally got time to come here because we were in the same locality.

Maybe because I had sky high expectations from this place, Villa Vandre fell short and here's why :

It was almost 11.30ish am when we reached this place and let me tell you, finding this place was no joke. Villa Vandra doesn't serve all day breakfast and their kitchen shuts around 11.30ish till 1 when it again opens for lunch. So when we reached there, they asked to either order in exact 5 seconds or wait till 1. They told us we could order and then sit and eat our breakfast for however long we want. How generous.
Anyways, so we all (group of 10) actually debated and discussed and managed the order in less than a minute 🙈 Now my biggest issue with Villa Vandre is that so many places in Mumbai serve breakfast all day. Why should one come here when it's only limited to certain time.
That's 1.
Second major issue is that since most of us were eggitarians (can't imagine what would happen to a vegetarian here), the breakfast includes two portions of nonveg which have no veg/egg choice.
Ville Vandre Breakfast :
2 eggs (any prep)
Ham/sausage/bacon (choose 2)(no veg or egg choice here)
Hashbrowns
Grilled tomato
Baked beans of toast
Coffee Tea Juice (choose 1)(we chose watermelon juice)

So, either I lose on two things from my platter or I get extra Hashbrowns which I don't want.

I think if you bank on your breakfast which is widely famous, you must include choices for vegetarians and eggitarians.

All this was from a perspective of an Eggitarian who loves eating breakfast all day. I am sure many people won't find his an issue.

Coming to the good part :

They let us eat and laugh for all the time we wanted to, since they weren't catering to anyone meanwhile. I personally loved how each and every dish was served. The platting was simple, yet looked super appetising. The interiors were simple and classy, a perfect 2016 cafe look!

What we ate :

1. Breakfast Platter : Apart from the negatives listed above, I loved their Sunny side up and Hashbrowns.

2. Classic Maple Pancakes : Pancakes are my favourite and these very really good. Please butter them well and pour a lot of syrup to enjoy them to the fullest.

All their sandwiches and burger portions were humongous! A lot of us couldn't finish one on our own. They looks great and tasted great too.

3. Hummus Salad Sandwich : This was definitely my favorite thing that day. Maybe its because I like cold sandwiches that are fresh, but the hummus sandwich tasted great and the vegetables and hummus were fresh and delicious. Recommended

4. Spicy Veg Burger : Again a huge burger, this one was really tasty. Loved the patty and the dips. Really really filling. They gave potato wedges with all their burgers and sandwiches which were a great side dish.

5. Cold Coffee
6. Masala Chai
7. Water Melon Juice

All three were pretty neat, nothing bad, nothing extra ordinary. The quantity of the cold coffee was good.

A few of my friends ordered Non Veg burgers. One of them also called for the breakfast platter and loved it since he had got Sausage and Ham also.
So can't really tell you for it tasted, but they seem to love it.

Villa Vandre is a very tiny place and most of the times you might not find a place to sit and hence they definitely need to expand their repertoire. Overall my experience here was good. Will try an come for lunch maybe.

Ratings :

Service : 3/5

Ambiance 3.5/5

Food : 3.5/5

Drinks : 3/5

Overall : 3/5

Villa Vandre is a petite place in Bandra that dares to serve good food in the midst of Giants like indigo, salt water cafe, smoke house deli and many more. The interior of the cafe is European like, with white and blue being their theme colour. The place is petite with tables so close that you can probably join in on the next tables conversation. Their service is warm and prompt.

Villa Vandre has a really impressive menu with dishes ranging from one cuisine to another. It knows no limit.
Having heard of the cafe from a lot of people I decided to go there for breakfast and some me time.
I love a place that serves burger for breakfast and ordered a Grilled chicken burger with eggs as an add on, a portion of bacon and cold coffee.

My eyes lit up as I saw the burger be served because it was huge and back in Australia they have a saying "if you can hold a burger with one hand it's not a burger". Villa Vandre's burger had no such problem. It was huge with a juicy piece of chicken breast jumping out of the bun. This was the kind of burger that would get you messy! It had big fat pieces of tomatoes, grilled onion, jalapeños and a big dollop of their house coleslaw spread evenly! The chicken breast was dripping with juices and every bite made me want to pat myself for ordering right. The add on egg was also a very good idea. The bun seemed fresh and had the right amount of flavour to it that did not over power the other ingredients. The burger had wedges on the side that was fine.

The cold coffee was good and creamy just the way I like it. The crispy bacon was cooked fine but the produce could have been much better. The cut seemed too thick for my liking.

It is a place I would go time and again for breakfast. Villa Vandre is the kind of place that will set your day right. If you have been there please recommend some more dishes that you have tried in the comments section. I will definitely order those and let you know what I think.

Villa Vandre is a hidden gem in the old by-lanes of Bandra. It's small but cosy and very cute with it's pastel hues and homely feel. I ordered the mutton dhansak with brown rice and fresh kaachumber on the side. It reminded me of my grandmother's traditional home-cooked recipe. Needless to say, it was delicious- the meat was very tender and the spices just right. The pork tambrinath on the other hand was okay- the pickled taste was a bit too overpowering for my liking. The rose fennel tea was an unusual item and very flavourful. The server was extremely polite, helpful and friendly, which made the experience all the more better.

This is a nice cosy space tucked away in a small by lane in bandra run by a chef who knows his food. Delicious mix of flavours especially the east indian cuisine will blow your mind. Give this a shot and you will thank me

Yummy vegetarian burgers and chicken rice. Cute little cosy setting in Bandra. The service was reasonably quick and efficient. the fruits trifle was fresh and perfect 😋

So, even though this wasn't our first choice, I am quite glad our initial options were closed/ unattractive. Mushroom ravioli with oregano butter sauce (sage wasn't available) was pretty good. Chicken bunny chowder, amazing Indian twist to a generally bland dish for me. Highlight has to be baked gulab jamun with rabri tart. Breakfast menu seemed quite tempting, unfortunately we were pretty late for that. Overall ambiance was villa like, nothing special but KICKASS MUSIC... that is if you are into that opera, slow kind shit. Definitely worth a visit once for its food.

This tiny cafe-in-a-villa serves up some delicious international grub, mostly continental style with a little fusion. Charming and cosy, you will be hard-pressed to get a table on the weekend as regulars pile in. Worth waiting a while though if you're in the mood for meat n gravy, sandwiches, pastas, curries and the like.

We were too skeptical about this place, reason being, my friends are foodies and love good food. After much thought, we went to this place. The decor had that vintage European feel. It's a small and cozy place. The food was scrumptious and the service was prompt. We ordered pesto pasta, panini and hummus sandwich, Thai curry and the potatoes. Everything was well made.
Overall would love to revisit the place.

Villa it is!! Small yet cozy villa vandre is a must visit for all food lovers. The delectable food certainly makes up for the crunch in space. Loved the decor, the use of space and the overall vibe of the place.
Almost everything on the menu is fantastic but I would certainly suggest gorging on the following delightful dishes
Papaya and raw mango salad(guiltless delight)
Keema pav( keeps you wanting for more)
Lox on bagels ( heaven!!)
Coronation chicken sandwich( truly filling)
Keema salli par eedu (lip smacking)
Mutton dhansak with brown rice( no words)
Chicken scalopini (as Italian as it can get)

I came across Villa Vandre through Zomato and was really keen to check it out. It was slightly tough to locate the place but thanks to Google Maps we finally found it. I had gone on a Sunday afternoon and they had a waiting time for about an hour! So I decided to come another time and go earlier. Again had to wait for 10 mins which was fine. No doubt it is really small (maybe 6 tables maximum) but the decor surely makes up for it. The tables are pretty close to each other. It's literally a doll house! I ordered the Bangers and Mash which was really good (taste and quantity wise) compared to the other dishes we had ordered. They had an option of pork and chicken but I went for the pork as suggested by the manager. The quantity for the Kheema Pav seemed pretty less. For desserts they just had the chocolate mousse and the mango and coconut pudding. There's no coconut taste in the mousse which was perfect for me. The Belgian Chocolate Mousse was pretty good too. Would recommend this place for a small group for sure!

Sunday rainy afternoon..Perfect timing for this small, tiny place. Ambiance was nice and yes food was yumm!!! We had ordered Red n white mixed (pink) pasta. Which was simply delightful. Firstly it was undercooked but we told them so immediately they replaced and gave us fresh properly cooked ones. Other was Chicken Roulade. Superb it was! Pinch of teriyaki sauce made it more interesting.
Service is good. Staff is calm and cooperative.
Recommended! :)
This place might be a little hard to find but its worth the hunting. I have been here twice and I have enjoyed it both the times. It is a lovely restaurant, small but always busy.
The staff here is really welcoming and well trained.
FOOD
The Thai Inspired Papaya and Raw Mango salad was really interesting. At first you feel as though the flavours don't go very well but a few bites in you start to love the flavours in this dish.
The Neapolitan Crepes were really good. They were filled with this amazing vegetable filling and had 2 types of sauces around it. Really tasty.
The mushroom ravioli in sage butter Sauce was my favourite, we finished every single thing in that place. It looked like we had licked the plates. The taste was out of This world, as soon as you put a bite in your mouth there is an explosion of flavours. Best dish till now.
The blueberry crush was an amazing drink I loved it. It still had a few berries inside it so has the lovely different textures. A must try on a hot afternoon.
The best is still left.
The chocolate mousse. Omg this was absolutely delicious. The chocolate melted in your mouth and it wasn't over powering, it was just beautiful.
I highly recommend people to check this place out.

After having it on our list for the longest time, we finally decided to visit Villa Vandre.. And man! I regret having waited that long

It's a quaint place with brightly lit interior.. Had a very cute ambience.. Like every other place in Bandra, not easy to spot on the first go without maps in your hand.

The food:
I had the Grilled Tenderloin Steak. It was served with Mashed potato and veggies. The Mashed potatoes were just amazing. No lumps. Just good old plain delicious Mashed potatoes. The beef was beyond amazing. I asked them to keep it medium rare and it was done to perfection. Every bite just felt so right. Like a good boy, I finished my vegetables before attacking the Mashed potatoes and the steak. It was quite filling as well.

The spicy veg burger was one of the best veg burgers I've tasted. Definitely a must try.

The Zucchini Spaghetti was a mixed bag. The gravy base was tasty but the Zucchini itself tasted a bit funny. Not as good as the other two dishes. Can be avoided.

The damage:
Fairly decently priced. 3 dishes cost us around 1.2k

Conclusion:
Will definitely want to visit again. They have a lot lot more to offer. I bet.

Literally woke up early travelled from mulund to bandra, just to have a perfect breakfast here.
It's my brother's favorite place. He always promote this place to everyone. :P
So i ordered villa vandre breakfast, it had scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, ham, baked beans, hash brown with brown bread and parsi chai. Tried ham for the 1st time didn't like that much. But over all food was amazing. Really liked the ambience. Service was good. And at the end we ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows. But marshmallows were not available. So they gave us one cookie biscuits. I really hope next time they serve it with marshmallows.
So, will I visit this place again?
Yes i will :D
Bhakti Rambhia
The first place I would say that gave me a burger which I loved, they gave me an awesomelicious spicy veg burger, with coleslaw salad, which was yummy and stomach filing. The devilled pasta is supposed to be with less gravy, but on just a single simple request they made it in extra gravy which was spicy n in well cooked spaghetti. The kiwi caprioshka was a perfect balance of kiwi mint and black salt, whereas the pineapple ginger ale was a non sweet soothing drink. No lunch is complete without dessert, and the combination of cookies ice cream n chocolate sauce they served was finger licking, or in this glass licking licious. A perfect end to a brilliant lunch.
As for ambience, a very chilled out place, good for a casual date or a relaxing lunch/dinner with a couple of friends.
Service, great service, good advice, and understanding for the clients taste n requirements and very accomodating n humble.
A must go place for amazing food.

We were very excited to try this place out because of the rave reviews but gosh were we disappointed ! Our first main - the mutton dhansak had no flavour what so ever - my cook at home makes a much better version of it. The rice had no salt (which maybe on purpose) but that just made the concoction of dhansak and rice seem like there was no salt in the dish whatsoever. Points though for tender mutton.

Our second main was the prawn chilli - there were no prawns just a few little squids thrown into an oily mix of excessive green peppers and overcooked onions. If a restaurant doesn't have prawns please inform the guests - serving small, insipid squid masquerading as prawns is unfair to the one waiting to eat. No pav or bread given to eat it with - not sure how one is expected to eat it ! Anyway it was less about what was given and more about how both the dishes lacked any flavour.

The service staff is top notch and that's the reason for the rating of 2.

Very disappointed and disheartened after waiting for so long to try it.

A small place, easy enough to find. The food was just amazing. We started with Homemade East Indian Sausage Fry. It was easily the best sausage gravy I've ever tried. The slightly spicy taste mixed with the soft and creamy mash potatoes in it just sealed the deal for me. Followed that up with a Carbonara pasta. Well cooked bacon in a delicious white sauce. Even though I'm not a fan of white sauce in a pasta, I still loved it. Ended the main course with a Chicken Burger. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, its one of the better burgers I've had in Mumbai.
The desserts were also some of the best I've had, with a Gulab Jamun Tart and a chocolate ice cream to end it all.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Loved the overall experience. Would definitely recommend to all the non vegetarians!

Hopped into Vandre for lunch. Considering it being a Friday we were expecting the place to be fairly packed so when we entered, we weren't surprised. However, within half an hour from our entry the place was packed. This Place without a doubt speaks a lot of its food. Since we were quiet hungry we jumped in at the mains and skipped the rest.

Coming to the food, we ordered the Salli Chicken and the Prawn Curry Rice.
Salli Chicken - The perfect balance of onions and Garlic cooked in tomatoes with a generous portion of well done chicken, served with fluffy pavs. Truly a delicious meal.

Prawn Curry Rice - The prawn curry cooked in creamy coconut milk was out of this world. Couldn't get enough of it. The gravy was full of flavours and the prawns were tender and just perfect. The prawns had the taste of freshness which added a zing to the flavour of the curry.

For desserts they have a daily special, put a cute list of 3-4 items we picked out the Fresh fruit trifle, about that I must say that it was one of the best light creams I've ever had in this city. It wasn't too sweet or heavy, just about perfect !

A quaint little place with great food! What else would one want!
Hoping to visit there soon :)

Had really enjoyed my meal at Villa Vandre earlier which took us back the second time. Although the experience wasn't as great. Ordered the chicken roulade and the homemade mushroom ricotta ravioli in nutty sage butter. The chicken was quite good but the ravioli contained chunks which we were told it's coconut shells and that the preparation might have gone wrong. In spite of the dish being sent back we were charged for it which didn't seem appropriate upon admitting the preparation went wrong.

This place met every expectation i had from it after reading all the great reviews. Cozy place with a little wait time, but it's worth the wait. Delicious food and it was great to see the host paying personal attention to every table.

You would never be disappointed ! Look out for their special menus during festivals - you would just want to keep going back for more. Superb food, amazing taste, an ambience that is so comforting - it almost feels like home which is when you wish this was a dream that could be true ! I would love to have this kind of food at home everyday !

Brilliant food! Desserts could have been better... but the rest of the meal was delicious. You have to try the dhansak and the chicken! It was cooked just perfectly! Tiny space, but if you have to wait... I'd say it would be worth it

Another smart stuff in the city vandre villa located at a very quiet place at pali hill road as soon you enter the lane u get a feeling of old goa a Small Joint with good menu , Detailing is done very upperclass of evry decor there, Since we tried only juices so we ordered chatpata melon it was blended to perfection , A fantastic place of Indo- English style cafe , quiet calm and relaxing , I wanna try much more options when i pay my next visit there soon...

A very cosy and cute cafe located in the bylanes of Carter road , Villa vandre offers some mouthwatering recipes that makes one visit it again . The bangers and mash are to die for along with yummy Russian cutlets. I hope they add some more beverages like milkshakes and smoothies to beat the heat along with a variety of chicken appetisers .

Pros :
Awesome ambience
Friendly staff
Quick service
Tasty food

Cons :

- Salads and sandwiches need to improve
- No Restroom
Unassuming. Fabulous fare. It's the Chefs jovial nature making the place warm and welcome. Fairly priced home style recipes, adapted from the Chefs world wide travel experiences.

Villa Vandre is one of its kind. Great food, superb ambience and good service. We ordered the bangers and mash, roasted hen & mutton dhansak with brown rice. Mouth watering and heart warming food to say the least. This place is a must visit.....I am definitely going again and again and again.

A quaint, cozy place with nice music. This place serves a lot of different kinds of food, including European, American, and Parsi cuisine. We had a taste of chicken scallopini and chicken salli, both of which were really nice. The best thing about this is its value for money

Wonderful place! It's grown in size so the wait is less now. Pleasant place with really good ambience, scrumptious food and delicious drinks. Sit and enjoy

A quaint little eatery in the quiet lanes of Kantwadi. My friend and her kid came along. Living closeby I never got the chance to visit and finally managed today. Although there was a waiting as the place was packed, we were seated within 10min.
I ordered the Chicken Scallopini, while my friend ordered a Coronation sandwich, while her daughter had a customised penne pasta dish with an Alioli base.
The chicken dish was well made and tender and the sauce creamy with a right balance of paprika. I'm not a big fan of cauliflowers so wish that wasn't on there with the veggies. I asked if they could substitute the herb rice for mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the meal, but just towards the end of the meal after I had taken few sips of the watermelon and pomegranate cooler...my food tasted bitter! Could have to perhaps do with the black salt?
My freind enjoyed the sandwich which stuffed adequately and was huge, eventually had to take away half of it. The kids pasta was well made but a hitch in the order(specified no chilli or paprika) and it came loaded and topped with it...this made the hungry child wait a tad bit longer as they were polite to replace it promptly. The owner personally keeps an eye out for the customers requirements which is a very good thing to keep an establishment running smoothly. Finally; for dessert we had the days special and it was lovely. Chocolate and Oreo cookies with ice cream. Another notable mention would be the musk melon smoothie which had a pleasantly distinctive taste of raw honey. Will definitely visit again to try out other lovely treats on the menu.

The place is almost hidden in an alley in bandra. And small but pretty cafe which has very homely atmosphere to it. The menu is quite simple. We ordered a penne arrabbiata and a beef open burger , an apple cinnamon pie and a serradurra which is supposed to b there specially.
The pasta and the hamburger was really nice, specially the hamburger with a nice juice beef patty and semi runny fried egg. The apple cinnamon pie was not bad either but the biggest let down was the thing they were serving in the name of serradura. It tasted like biscuits crumbs topped with tasteless whipped cream. I have had many serradura in my life both in India and abroad and it taste nothing like this one.
Although I was disappointed with my dessert but still I like this place for its service and ambience. Would love to visit again and try out for things from the menu.

Ambience - 4/5
Service - 5/5
Food - 4/5
Value for money - 4/5

Cute little place in Pali hill which is a bit tough to locate :p, but it's nicely set up with bright ambiance and some welcoming music(not too loud, which is good). Their service was really good. For food, we called for bangers and mash with pork along with chicken roulade. Both were their signature dishes and they did not disappoint. We also had ice tea and raspberry soda which were pretty good. Small hidden gems like these in Bombay never fail to amaze you and it's great value for money. Worth a visit! :)

A small place in the narrow lanes of pali hill. Once you have figured out where it is you might have to wait for a while as it has limited sittings. Went there with a friend for breakfast on a Sunday. We ordered the standard breakfast combo. You get to order eggs of your choice along with two option of meat. Bacon/ sausage/ ham. The lady comes to take the order with a flat face and is a little blunt, instead of being friendly. Food was fresh but average nothing extra ordinary though. But yes a decent place to enjoy good English breakfast.
Food: 3.5
Ambience: 3
Service : 2.5
