The Village Shop tucked in lanes of palli hills is a little cozy up cafe to unwind buffering all the bustle and fuzz of the metropolis ♥️🍮🧣🍪🔔. Found this cafe offering home like fresh goodies. Stopped by to sip hot cappuccino and hot good old porridge for breakfast 🧑‍🍳⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Wouod love to be back.

My favourite place in the city. Have been here many times and their service, food, beverages, and ambience never disappoint. So many options available for different dietary preferences. Love their kombucha, americano, juices, mexican rice, and the desserts! The desserts are divine. Truly a great place.

A very warm, cosy and aesthetically made outlet in a place like Bandra. It's a complete organic food store with an amazing menu and great courteous staff. Loved everything we ordered and would recommend it to every organic food lover, also this place has vegan and gluten free menu . Mexican Bowl with Chicken 5/5 Grilled Chicken Salad 5/5 Pineapple Coconut banana 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Staff courtesy 5/5 Portion size is average. Note: it's difficult to find the restaurant so either call them for assistance, otherwise it's next to Candies restaurant. Picture of the alley is posted for reference.

The Village Shop has been on my list since 2 years now and I finally got the chance to visit this place..I was greeted by the owner who was so humble and was the one serving us! He was checking in on us every 5 mins. This place felt comfortable like home. In quiet Bandra lanes lies this beauty which serves delicious vegan food. I ordered the Filter Coffee and Pesto Sandwich. Good portion sizes too. It’s a place where you can sit all day working, it’s very quiet! A sweet little talk with the owners on a cold Monday morning and good food made my trip worthwhile! Please visit The Village Shop! Note: The Village Shop has relocated from their Chimbai location to the Pali Hill one, next to Learner’s Academy. I happen to go to the old location and they didn’t guide me to the new location!

This cute little place has amazing food and variety. We had quick bite here. Staff is great. And food is healthy and freshly made. They have sugar free desserts as well. Totally recommended.

Loved the whole menu, ambience, service and just how satisfying the entire experience was after a long haul at Hill Road! Vegan Pizza, coffee and desserts - 5Stars. A perfect place to chill or for a date! 💚

This is a small super cozy affordable organic and vegan restaurant. Plus it's in bandra so they have chicken as well. I tried the Vegan mushroom pasta white base i couldn't believe vegan pasta can be so yummy. Both Vegan and Susan lasagne was awesome. They made amazing avocado starter as well. I had almost 3 meals in 3 different days consecutively. Didn't like the pot noodles of tomato based gravy. Overall I would happily give 5 star. They have some restriction not able to keep a big name board. So the crowd is very less.

Had a lovely time at The Village Shop, the owner is very warm and welcoming. You might find it difficult to locate the place, but the best way to remember it is that it is located right next to Candies in the adjacent compound. Fast service and cozy interiors, we loved everything we ate that day. Will visit again. :)

Looking to eat outside but you're on a diet? The Rustic roast at the village shop is perfect for you. It's roasted chicken with lemon butter sauce served on a bed of quinoa millet risotto. It's not only healthy but it's also absolutely delicious. The chicken is well cooked and it really goes well with the lemon butter and the Risotto just adds onto the amazing taste. Don't miss out on this while you're on a diet.<br/>Price: 525<br/><br/>The hot chocolate at The Village Cafe is by far one of the best hot chocolate we have had. We're already craving it. It's chocolatey, thick and creamy. It's absolutely delicious and heavenly. It's definitely a must try for all you chocolate lovers. <br/>Price : ₹290
The Sunday Suppers
The cappuccino here is made with organic coffee beans sourced from south Indian and are strong and robust and frothy like good cappuccinos should be. I had an assortment of multigrain and gluten free breads on the side with our dishes and they were all fairly tasty and not chewy or dry or crumbly at all. We tried the mushroom sandwich this time which which was prepared in a brilliant sourdough foccacia with gave a slight tartness to the sandwich. There was a delightfully cheesy and creamy filling inside which we later realised was the walnut pate (!) as this is a vegan sandwich. The dosas are chubby and soft in the middle and slightly crisp at the periphery. The dal based batter used for it make the dosas taste distinctively different from that of the thin & crisp rice and dal based dosas served in Udupi restaurants here. The dosas tasted wholesome and flavoursome and filled you up. The

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS:<br/>I cannot recall an experience as this in recent memory where I walked out of a health food type place with so much of culinary satisfaction. The health drink (carrot, cucumber and ginger) was enjoyable and tasty and the lasagne was tad better than your best home made ‘aunt’s’ lasagne. The service could be a bit more warm. It was like walking into an old aunt’s place (not your favorite aunt) for a quick meal. Whenever I need a healthy meal fix, this ‘aunt’ can expect a visit. Not a hug, but I wish the ‘aunt’ would give me a smiling welcome the next time around. Other than the welcome aspect, the place had a charming, endearing feel to it. Arividerchi, Zia Suzanne, for now.<br/><br/>PREFACE:<br/>I had passed by The Village Shop on many an occasion; sometimes just passing by and at other times on my way to the coffee shop, next door. Each time, I made a promise to myself that I would check out this place and I kept procrastinating; that is, until now. <br/><br/>AMBIANCE:<br/>The establishment is located in a narrow alleyway alongside the compound wall of St. Peter’s Church in Chimbai. The road that leads to the establishment was being repaired on the day I visited. A bit of an inconvenience; but I trundled along. There are steps and also a special access into the restaurant. In the restaurant there is an alfresco area surrounded by pleasant greenery in the form of potted plants. Inside, past a glass door, there are two small tables with two chairs each just beside and on each side of the dessert counter in an air-conditioned setup. The alfresco area, my preferred spot, was all filled up, so I chose to sit inside in the air-conditioned area on one of the two small tables. As I looked around, I experienced the quaintness of the place and looking out of the French windows into the patio/alfresco area, I could not help noticing how charming the place was. A two thumbs up for ambiance.<br/><br/>ORDERING PROCESS:<br/>A bit after I seated myself, I had to get the waitperson’s attention to get a hold of the menu. Stepping in, I noticed a chalkboard on the steps with the daily specials. The menu is crisp and should be a health food patron’s haven. The menu was laden with a whole bunch of healthy fare. There was a breakfast section (all day breakfast, I assume), then there were Soups, Salads, Sandwiches and Appetizers, Pizzas, a good selection of Entrees and some healthy Beverages – hot teas and coffee included (yes, they also had filter coffee). The final page was a treat for dessert lovers. After much internal deliberation, I went for the Carrot, Cucumber and Ginger drink and the Suzanne’s Lasagne.<br/><br/>FARE VERDICT:<br/>The beverage came in after a wait. The beverage was this expected muddied orange color. There was a scallion stem garnish; all of which had the banner ’healthy’ written all over it. One sip and I ceded what the fuss was all about: the drink was as earthy and refreshing as it looked – and it represented equally the flavors of the carrot, cucumber and ginger; the scallion stem garnish was a bonus. The only word of caution would be: do not let the drink sit around for long. The contents separate and there is a clear lime-colored liquid that settles to the bottom after a while. So, don’t nurse the drink inordinately. <br/><br/>Suzanne’s Lasagne made its debut after a teaser of fifteen minutes; Of course, I was told of the delay since the dish had to be baked. The presentation was picture perfect. The plating was aesthetic: the lasagne was in one quadrant and the other had a bunch of rocket salad leaves, some watercress stems with a sprinkle of pomegranate arils all drizzled with a light oil. The oil was clear so it did not appear to be olive oil. The cheese atop the lasagne appeared brownish (probaby burn marks from the baking), which, on the face of it, is not a bad thing. However, when my knife made contact, there was a bit of a pushback; it appeared that the cheese was twice baked and got crispy on the outside in the process. The stuffing was phenomenal; there were layers of mushroom, bell peppers, zucchini and spinach -mingled with a right proportion of cheese to render a smooth, velvety finish. The layered pasta seemed home-made and they were perfectly al dente. The cheese was good but being twice baked may have gotten somewhat crisp on the outside layer – minor detail. <br/><br/>Overall, food was remarkable and gets a whole-hearted two thumbs up!<br/><br/>SERVICE:<br/>Service was just functional. There was no warm and fuzzy hospitality. The order taking was matter of fact. The response to my lasagne order was a bit weird: a fifteen-minute delay was announced, again, vey matter-of-fact. No sure if it was intended to be that way, but the service was like Ikea furniture – barely functional. There was no inquiry in between my meal – either to ask about the quality of my meal or if I needed anything else. No, there was nothing rude about it – just not warm. For that reason, service gets a bare thumbs up.

Friendly staff. Great ambience. And most of the cakes that i tried were super yum! Would definitely go again and again just cuz the vibe is that serene.

The proper Sunday Brunch place!<br/>Placed in a cozy nook in Bandra, this cafe is proper Instagram feels.<br/>We had mixed seasonal fruit smoothie, pineapple chicken and mexican rice bowl!<br/><br/>Thought the mexican bowl was filling, the chicken was okay. Found the place to be a little overpriced for the quantity of food they served.
Ariha Sheth
I ordered the avacado salad from scootsy and it was extremely disappointing. The portion size is really small and it isn’t even tasty. The price is exorbitant/ really high for the food I got and I would never order from here again.
Pearl Joseph Monteiro
Firstly , this place is definitely over priced for the quantity they serve, second if u see the take away smoothie glass , it felt like a chai glass, the quality for al the dishes absolutely poor but the price was way expensive to what we got ! Only thing good was the almond coconut cake thats it whats worst is while giving feedback to the owner he put everyone other cafe down to make his look better which clearly didn’t ! Shameful ! I really hope they do better even !!

Love the village shop. We have been buying their breads but never really sat down to have a meal. Glad we came today.<br/><br/>Place has a lovely energy and a chilled vibe. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Service is relatively fast and is well priced.<br/><br/>We loved the eggs akuri on wholewheat toast as well as their lovely peanut butter coffee smoothie.<br/><br/>Will definitely be back for desserts and more coffee drinks :). Love to have this healthy organic option tucked in Bandra. Love.

This is my all time favourite place. Mr Javed the owner is very courteous too. Vegan Lasagne and the warmer pizza with mushroom noodles. A treat for gluten free and vegan lovers. Also try the almond milk choco shake and vanilla ice cream.<br/><br/>Note. If someone likes to have spicy food, ask for their freshly grounded chilli paste. ⭐

It’s this cute, cozy cafe in Bandra. I had the opportunity to try few dishes from there. It is perfect for the health conscious sweet tooths out there. I would highly recommend the Vegan Hot Chocolate, it is guilt free, creamy and so delicious.
Ainhoa
Delicious beet burger with cashew cheese and super tasty carrot cake but I could taste more the cinnamon flavour than the carrot flavour.. even like that, I loved the organic food I had and the quiet and beautiful place!
Neha
It’s a nice small cafe in Bandra!! Cozy place with nice music. We ordered avacado disk and Nacho Crunch to eat and hot chocolate which was nice in taste, it is a perfect place for people who need gluten free and vegan food. The place is little difficult to find through google maps.

Stopped for a brunch, and absolutely enjoyed the place. Great atmosphere, great staff, and awesome food! Make sure check the carrot cake out. It's definitely worth it. Vinit provided great service! Thank you sir!

It is one of the best cafe in Bandra hands down. Great patio setting, fabulous service, and most importantly the food is on point. Finished off the goodness with carrot cake, which again freaking amazing. Would definitely recommend, and will be back again. HUGE shoutout to Vinit for providing us awesome service!!! You guys rock!

Simple and solid is how I would describe this restaurant.<br/>I came here with a friend and tried the avocado sandwich, pizza and green smoothie. All were amazing.<br/>Great service too

The Village Shop in Bandra caters to the health-conscious, going by their selection of organic, keto-, paleo-friendly, etc. food items. I expect, a menu such as this to be on the relatively expensive side, and it is.<br/><br/>I met my friend here for some healthy dinner, and we ordered the following - virgin caprioska, avocado sandwich, chicken with leek onion and cheese, and bliss ball. They all tasted "healthy" and "guilt-free" if you like, and the portions are good.<br/><br/>The service is a little slow but good. Overall, The Village Shop, I'd say is a one-time visit.
Karan
Love this place, Super nice Vibe, Lovely Service and some of the Tastiest healthy food.<br/>Thanks Vinit for the Great Service and Hospitality ✨💜✨

Been there just once and happy to not go again. The serving is not that good and also it's on expensive side. The drink was a sheer joke for me. But anywaus learning makes you what to order and what not...

Good option for those who are gluten intolerant. I had the chocolate gooey cake which wasn't as gooey as I thought it would be but still very tasty. They had a few options for gluten free food as well as vegan options.

Lovely breakfast with very courteous staff. My friend was visiting from Delhi and he wanted to visit a place serving healthy food. Place is just we wanted

My first visit and it didn't disappoint. Nachos and pizza where simply delicious. Ravioli, aam pana and gooey chocolate cake were ok. May visit again in future.

As per the name suggests, this place gives good vibes of a Village.. went there on a prompt call n had to gush out quick .. expected service was to b prompt which genuinely it was .. even though did not try much there but would love to go back and enjoy the Jazz music they play with this esthetic ambience .. its pretty decently priced also.. Had a good experience 👍🏻👍🏻

I Had Ordered Food At Home For A Vegan Lasagna & Green Smoothie With Vegan Milk...Firstly Prices Are On Abit Higher Side For The Quantity Served Not Quality.. I Wont Write About Ambiance Coz I Have Not Visited This Place...Coming To The Food The Vegan Lasagna Layered With Mushroom, Zucchini, Bell peppers, Thick Spinach & Cheese & Pasta Sheets Wholewheat Baked Without Burns And Served With Lettuces On Side Drizzled With Some Olive Oil. I Loved The Spinach In It As It Almost Gives U That Eating Healthy Feeling From Inside Tagged For 550(Vegan Price) & Of course The Green Smoothie With Vegan Milk Looks Dangerous But Very Healthy & Much Delicious To Drink As Their Menu Says It  I Would Definitely Recommend This On Beverage... I Personally Found Their Prices On Abit Higher Side So 1* Less And 1* Coz I Am Yet To Visit Their Place..

Excellent food. Really good quality and taste. Loved the vegetarian pasta. The sweet potato fries were also really good. Neat and comfortable ambience. Good place to chill as it is cosy

Visited here few months back early 2019. Wasnt too impressed with the staffs enthusiasm and also the place looked dull. Could be a part of the decor.<br/><br/>Menu card wasnt too interesting so we ordered a soup and 1 more starter and were not too happy with the food either. Not sure if will be going back to this place.
Bianca
I absolutely LOVE this place. I swear, it’ll turn me into a vegan. It’s so cute and cozy, I could sit here for hours at a stretch. The vegan hot chocolate is to die for!! I also loved the vegan lasagne.

Nice friendly place...salads are awesome..sadly they don't serve fresh juice..but overall a good place to visit with a close one. It's better in the evening and at night...the ambience is awesome by then.

Excellent meal of gluten-free pasta mushrooms with roasted veggies, ( loaded aglio olio) , kombucha and banana walnut cake.<br/>Excellent service by Nadeem!

Very  good food and good location. Cheap price and good view. Only 10 table. Have local beer. Recommend to come.......... thanks for responding so quickly and easily
Pamela Bhutoria
I really enjoyed the taste of their food , but extremely ignorant in terms of any complaints from the customers, I ordered prawn risotto which was tasty but the prawns were stale when I complained of the same they just completely ignored... so I don't really know if I would go back or recommend this place to anyone...
Priyanka Chanchlani
Overall a good experience....loved hot chocolate and the almond cake.. would like to go there again...you must go there if you a sweet tooth n still want to eat healthy

At an overall 3.9 I feel this restaurant is underrated. It took a piece of my heart for the simplicity yet elegance (both in food and ambience). This was one of the rarest times healthy food felt healthy and mind you I didn't opt for any salad. Tried just 2 dishes on this first visit of mine but I can't stop praising them enough and Im definitely going back again... And again.<br/>Tried their sweet potato fries, comes with a dip so delicious you'll be surprised to discover its not even dairy but vegan. Inside scoop - a little chat with the waiter told us that the dip is made of cashews and lime, some seasoning and chilly flakes .. wallahh!<br/>Next up was Avacado on on ragi discs. My friend who hates avacados couldn't stop with this one after she ate one.<br/>Ambience is made of a small place. 2 tables inside and about 5 to 6 small ones outside. Cosy, comfortable and like a gem.<br/>Servers are friendly, they talk to you so you can ask them more about the food if you are keen. We asked for another round of just the dip and were given one without hesitation.<br/>Location is easy if you know St. Andrews church. It's actually tucked into a corner at the end of Hill road. Which is why you may love it more.<br/>Don't miss this one if you are eating healthy, yet craving, are in Bandra or what the heck! Just travel cos it's worth it.<br/>PS. I didn't try their desserts but the menu does boast of flourless gluten free cakes. Maybe the next time.
Shikha Shoam
Lovely place. The food was simply delicious. The highlight was the vegan pizza. Ever since I turned vegan I've had this mad craving for a pizza which was finally quenched at The Village Shop. Service was good.
Daniel Leonard
Wanted to visit this place for a long time. So finally visited and tried their Village shop special pizza and turmeric cooler. Both were really good. I just feel the rates are way too high.
Datta
Awesome small cafe in Chimbai. Courteous and attentive staff. We had the Vegan Warmer Pizza and the Spicy Chicken Pizza as well as the Gooey Chocolate Cake. The Vegan Pizza was superb! And they make proper espresso - which is actually hard to get in Mumbai (most places do a horrible watery mess)
Rutuja Kelkar
Full marks to them for the wide variety in their vegan fare, which is delicious. Love their pasta, carrot cake and pizza - all vegan. My non-vegan friends love the carrot cake too.<br/><br/>This place is definitely worth visiting if you are looking for good, fresh tasting food.

Interiors of place is perfect according to its name the village cafe. <br/>Visited here to meet one of my friend.<br/>Had Cappuccino and sandwich which was value for money, ambience is also good.

What an absolutely brilliant place. Been on my list ever since it opened, and I finally got a chance to visit! It's quaint and nice, and the food is great! We ordered for a pumpkin and walnut soup, it was perfect in every way, the server even split the soup into two bowls, without having to ask for it. It was really considerate of them! And we followed it with the Suzanne's lasagne, which was again brilliant! I'm going to keep coming back for more, till I've tried everything on the menu, and eaten to my heart's content.

Another hidden gem in the by lanes of bandra. This was a find while searching for cafes that serve healthy vegan food. Everything about the cafe as you enter screams organic. It’s just pretty and feels relaxed. <br/><br/>1. Almond chocolate shake - vegan - is a meal by itself. So thick, dark and yummy, its like eating melted chocolate. Must try!!! <br/><br/>2. Avocado disks: vegan - ragi disks topped with avocado mousse. Mouthwatering, finger licking... amazing taste... please don’t miss this. <br/><br/>3. Sweet bake: vegan - sweet potato baked fries spiced with garlic and spring onion greens. Tasted great but just wished they were more crisp. <br/><br/>4. Strawberry chocolate pie - vegan - tis the season of strawberry and nothing pairs better with it than chocolate. Soft, gooey and the right amount of dark decadence. Indulge in this sinful dessert. <br/><br/>They had a lot of other vegan dessert options. <br/><br/>Will definitely come again to try the other vegan main course items.

This place was recommended by a friend. Its important to know that U need ur maps on while searching for this place else it won't be easy to locate it. Once you've located it, you will feel like its a place outside India. Really well made and peaceful. Completely out of the city hustle. Extremely courteous staff and a good menu.<br/>We had the Cappucino (it was good)<br/>Filter coffee (very good)<br/>Matcha tea (my friend ordered and she liked it 😋)<br/>Shade grown pour over coffee (a blacl coffee fanatic would love it)<br/>Chocolate almond vegan mousse (this was outstanding, with prominent taste of almonds and pieces as well)<br/>Pesto pizza (really good)<br/>Overall a great experience and with this got a bill of Rs.1568/-<br/>Would love to visit again.

The food tastes good, but the price of the food dishes here are too high.<br/>Overall, a good atmosphere at this restaurant!<br/>Organic food restaurants like this are a breath of fresh air in Bombay city!

The staff here is very polite and friendly. The ambience is very lovely and we bet it looks super amazing in evening. The food served here is fresh and yummy. We ordered the Nutwich: a stuffed sandwich with coloured peppers, zucchini, peanut and almond pesto- so tasty and healthy. Then we had a Macchiato which was very disappointing. It was topped with hedious foam the texture wasn’t appealing and even the espresso shot was snot done well.<br/>Hospitality:4/5<br/>Taste-o-Meter:3/5

I visited this place today along with my girlfriends. Had heard a lot about this place. I made the booking through Zomato, the booking was quickly confirmed. When I reached the place there were no empty tables outside so we sat indoors. The indoors have only 2 tables. The ambience inside is very average and look of the place is average too. We were told that we would be given a table outside, but that took forever and people who came after us were given tables. That aside we found the staff really rude. The staff really needs a lesson in customer service. The food was average, nothing spectacular nor bad. We ordered a NUtwich Panini, sweet potato fries, Alio Olio Pasta and chettinad prawn. The prawn was over cooked and rubbery. The panini was decent but they made a mistake by adding an ingredient which I was allergic to, inspite of checking before ordering. We ordered Reboot and coco water. Which were again average.<br/>I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the staff. When you go out to a restaurant you would want that you are treated well. We skipped the dessert coz of bad customer service.<br/><br/>The only reason I decided to write this review is because the management should know what kind of people are being hired.

This place is so quaint that we missed it even though we live next to it! But but but what a cozy cute place. If you are a fan of healthy eating and love organic ingredients, you must visit it.<br/>The breakfast was amazing and I loved the feel of the place.<br/>They can improve on their service though and also keep some change handy
DK
Good latte. The filter coffee took some time to arrive (20 minutes). Carrot(walnut) cake delicious. Do want to go back for a meal cos the menu looked great. It is also in a quiet neighborhood so it is suitable if you want to converse.
Kriti Sharan
It's one of the best vegan friendly places we have been to in Bombay and definitely a must try. The taste of every single dish we tried was exquisite, specially their pumpkin soup. The ambience is very soothing with an open air area surrounded with lush green plants overlooking the streets. They also have indoor seating, if preferred.
Eateries Crush
Have been crushing on this place forever,<br/>Its like a dream to me,<br/><br/>The cafe is so pretty and comfy,<br/><br/>The menu is pretty exciting,<br/><br/>All the amazing guilt free food, we get here,<br/><br/>From the breakfast bowls, to amazing bars, cakes, beverages, all of them are of good quality and nevertheless extremely yummy!!<br/><br/>Happy Eating<br/>Tec<br/>

Borrowing from it's name, the washroom is very village like. For one you have to go outside the cafe to reach the washroom like in any Indian village house. Also the water pressure in the tank is very weak like it's being pulled out of a well, which makes flushing bigger chunks very inconvenient. It's a nightmare if you're a hygiene freak. On the upside the washroom feels and smells like one of those washrooms behind the Goan shacks, which triggers a nostalgia of that time in Goa where you put your head in the position and puked all the fenny mixed squid and prawns out.

Mr. Nikhil Singh called from 9082462471 number for a replacement delivery order for "The loaded Aglio Olio" asking can the delivery day be changed to next day with more food quantity. Shockingly when questioned he agreed to deliver the same day. Dear Owner Ms. Jennifer Malik please make a note of this incident.

Love love love this place! If you love eating fish, you must try the homemade fish curry with rice - the fish is cooked to perfection and the curry is delicious!

The Village shop is a cute little café tucked in a street in Bandra. The ambience is really cozy and welcoming and so is their staff. I ordered their special vegan pizza, vegan lasagne and a chocolate almond shake. Each of these was delicious. But the best part of their menu are the vegan desserts! They have the best vegan desserts I’ve ever had. I tried the gooey chocolate cake, carrot cake and the best of all was the strawberry & chocolate tart. ♥️

Such a cute little vegan cafe in Bandra! The ambience and music of this little gem is just brilliant! Fell In Love with the vibe to go with the good service staff! The caramelised chicken and onion sandwich is the only thing I didn’t really enjoy but everything else was great. Could be a little pricey on certain assortments but will def go back!

I can't believe how amazing vegan food is,.... If you need major motivational goals to switch to veganism....this has got to be your worship place! It's hard to find but is totally worth the effort. Absolutely amazing.

One of my favourite places in bandra, amazing organic healthy food ...Just what I want! Love their pizza and hello bello sandwich! They have a great menu with variety of options for vegan and gluten free food. In starters malabar discs are to die for.

The village shop has a nice place to sit with a hot cup of coffee and enjoy a book. The place is surrounded by greenery, which gives a very positive environment. They offer a healthy menu for all the fitness freaks out there. We tried their 'Non stop cake' which had no oil, no jaggery and was very healthy and delicious. The only gripe i have with this place is that their washroom wasn't in a working condition.

I had a very bad experience at this place yesterday. I went to village cafe after a really longtime . I was very fond of this place .I used to go there a lot before and I used to be very fond of the food . Yesterday I went after three or four months, the staff was different .I ordered roasted chicken with veggies . It was very bad and bland. I told the waiter that I’m not happy with the food and it tastes bland , he said he’ll change the sauce. But he didn’t take the food . just the sauce .even after the sauce change, it made no difference. The chicken was bland and tasteless .. It tasted like boiled food and had no flavour .Then I went inside and told the waiter that I'm not happy with this food and none of them gave me any reaction they all kept looking at each other as if they are deaf or i am invisible. I waited to see if they replace the food but they didn't and then I got really angry and I went outside and decided to leave .Then he came and gave me the bill which was really rude because neither did they replace the meal nor they offered me any discount or service .I would highly recommend everyone not to go here because the staff has changed, the food is crap ,it is overpriced and they don't give you value for money

Was on a food hopping spree in Bandra and found this very nice cozy place to spend time at. The decor and ambience is very comfortable but the seating area in the AC zone is small hence preferable to sit outside only during rains or winter. It offers a wide range good healthy food and boasts of its organic ingredients in their recipes. Had ordered for the following -<br/><br/>1) Road Runner Burger - Stacked grilled chicken with caramelised onions and veggies served with a side of Kale, Lettuce and pomegranate. Very filling yet not at all heavy on calories.<br/><br/>2) The village shop cold brew - One of the best cold brews I've had lately. Pick your preference based on with or without milk. I had both and it didn't dissapoint at all.<br/><br/>Will always pay a visit here if I'm in that locality. Wanna try more items in their menu.<br/>

First of all it's a quaint little cafe located in a very secluded area, so was a bit difficult to get there.<br/><br/>Me and my friend were hungry so we ordered for 2 dishes and as we have big time sweet tooth we ordered for the almond cake too!<br/><br/>FOOD-<br/><br/>AVOCADO SANDWICH- I think it was overpriced for what I got. The bread was too chewy and hard. The filling was not that great. I was very disappointed!<br/><br/>BABY BITES- This was better than the sandwich. The sour cream was really nice. The fries were nice and crispy.<br/><br/>DRINKS-<br/><br/>CAPPUCCINO- The coffee was good I liked that they did not serve sugar and instead served organic jaggery which went well with the coffee.<br/><br/>HOT CHOCOLATE- It was good enough though I've had better in other places.<br/><br/>DESSERT-<br/><br/>ALMOND CAKE- It was good. Not too sweet. Would like to try their other desserts next time.<br/><br/>Overall experience was fine not that great.

I went to this cafe nicely located in a corner of a lane and very close to the sea. It reminded me of those European cafes on the street. Was an apt place to spend a beautiful morning at not a crowded place, where you can sit outside ... read a book or chit chat in garden surrounding and romantically breezy. <br/><br/> Food : They serve organic food which will leave the taste of a village standing right to its name. Even their coffee is great. We had :<br/><br/>Orange Juice : Great <br/>Spanish omelette with cheese : Good <br/>Avocado Toast and Cappuccino: Was Awesome <br/><br/>One of my fav in Bandra West now 😊😊😊

Looking a the reviews online I had very high expectations from this place .I must admit the vibe and the atmosphere is quite relaxing but food is surely nothing to write home about.<br/>The vegan warmer pizza was very upsetting, it was flat bread with tomato paste ,topped with tomatoes, olives and vegan cheese .No flavor at all.<br/>The Khausuey - another mistake .A deep brown color almost like a mushroom soup with noodles .Flavor once again very coconutty.. you could taste more milk less flavor .Noodles were not Asian and it seemed like spaghetti had been used .<br/>The selection of condiments came but did very little to add substance to the dish .<br/><br/>The gooey chocolate cake I read about was not gooey at all .. it tasted more like a sacher torte .Did not satisfy the dessert craving.<br/>The only thing I quite liked was the masala tea .It was a nice rich strong masala tea, I wouldn't return for food .<br/>With prices like that one would expect better quality and flavor .

Too expensive for the portions and quality of what is served.

This place is a hidden gem located in the chimbai by lane next to St. Andrews church in Bandra<br/><br/>Ambience: Cool, laid back and breezy. This place has a couple of tables outside the inner store. The outside is breezy and there are fans and plants to reduce the heat. Chill vibes and a wheel chair ramp are also present.<br/><br/>Food: There are various options for healthy food here. The good thing is that these options actually taste good! There are options for gluten free, vegan and also heavy non Vegetarian's like yours truly. The non veg options can also be made to be vegan which is another plus point about this place. The Salad called the free ranger is very well prepared. Full of chicken and nicely dressed with honey mustard dressing and garnished with walnuts, this dish was perfect for an evening filler. The pizza, the village special was crisp and light but not burnt. The cheese and vegetables were done well and the plating was different. The malabar discs are biscuit size chunks of ragi covered with a generous helping of dry chicken. Perfect for curing the munchies.<br/><br/>Price: Slightly on the expensive side, this place would cost you around 600 to 800 per person if you order a drink/coffee and a main.<br/><br/>Verdict: The village shop offers a wide variety of healthy foods and a serene ambience which is rarely found in Bandra with all its bustle. Visit this place if you don't mind spending a little more.<br/>

Could not resist entering this picturesque cafe located just one road off the sea face. The cool sea breeze laced with aromatics from the coffee gives a feeling of being teleported to some cafe in Europe.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>"The smokey" has to be the richest vegetarian pasta dish to be made. Oodles of aubergine, mushrooms and greens to cut the tanginess of the arrabiata sauce. Also very light. Worth it.<br/><br/>"Gooey chocolate cake" is to die for. The most softest and rightly described as gooey-est cake ever. If it were cheaper then I would have had it daily.<br/><br/>Service:<br/>The team is very polite and prompt. Water was at our table within seconds of taking a seat. Keep it up guys!<br/><br/>Value for money:<br/>No. Not a place to eat if on a budget. This is the only place where i have to take away points.<br/><br/>Overall: It is a must visit when in bandra for that cafe experience that we have lost somehwere in all the fast food rush! 4.5/5

A small but decent place for healthy food options. The place though is not having enough seating space but definately worth trying for its quircky vibes and healthy food. They serve breakfast also. Fruits and nut bowl is a better option in breakfast as it is full of different fruits and nuts. The fresh and succulent fresh pieces of fruit will give you right amount of energy to get going the whole day. Tofu scramble is another great option here. Omelette and tofu combined together with veggies is a pure delight and healthy as well. The taste was good. They have varieties of salad options and i tried avacado salad. A perfect combination of different veggies altogether will give you energy boost. Salad is made up with sun-dried tomatoes, lettuce, roasted garlic, avacado, feta and Parmesan cheese. All the veggies were fresh and tasty. Could not click pictures due to reasons and for the same purpose would love to visit the place again. Overall a nice place with lots of healthy food options.

I regularly order from here on weekends. Whatever I’ve had so far - salads, roast chicken, malabari chicken disc and Mexican bowl - is light on the stomach. I wouldn’t say the flavours are out of this world, but I can definitely compare it to simple yet tasty home food.

Post a good lunch with girlies on a rainy Saturday afternoon, we didn’t seem to have had enough time with each other so we headed to a nice cafe to continue our conversation and tadah! This is where we got to! <br/>We walked into this cute little place welcomed by a sleeping doggling at the entrance! Best way to be welcomed! (If you don’t agree, we cannot be friends! Unless I can convert you! :D) So we entered and sat our bums down on one of the tables outsides where a tiny banana tree covered my head with its leaves! Loved it! Hahaaa (little things I tell ya!) 3 Americanos, 1 cappuccino, 1 slice of carrot cake, 1 slice of coconut banana, 1 slice of gooey chocolate and 1 double chocolate chip cookie... phewww! (Let me remind you we had just got back from stuffing ourselves at lunch :p) And the conversations continue...<br/>The outside is not too hot, the wall fans keep it well ventilated and cool. We chatted away eating and sipping. The Coconut banana was quite dry and wasn’t great, the carrot cake was nice, the gooey chocolate was like any other gooey and the cookie I don’t know cos at one point we did get stuffed and stopped eating and one of us took it home (that wasn’t me clearly :p). My Americano was nice. Now you may say it’s just a coffee shot with water but excuse me! Some places can really f@&# up an Americano and these guys definitely did not. <br/>So we had a nice time there, the ambience is lovely, the service was really nice as well and Head scratches to the little cutey (doggling) that eventually woke up and came walking to all the tables added a lovely touch too. <br/>I think I could come back here and try some more things or just sit by myself with some coffee and stare away onto the quaint Bandra street. <br/>Check it out, peeps!

I ordered 3 desserts from here. The keto brownie was bitter. I understand there’s no sugar but bitter is something I don’t get. The almond mousse was stale. The only thing that was nice and edible was the healthy bar.

In a quaint by lane of Bandra lies an organic cafe, a laid back chilled place to catch up with your buddies or work. Must try dishes are the chicken char- grilled panini sandwich with their mustard sauce and thin crust pizza. A lot of vegan options available here. The almond cake and cappuccino is the best way to end your meal. For all you health people it’s a guilt free meal!

Vegan heaven!<br/><br/>P.S I'm not a vegan but I visited this place with my friends who are.<br/>They were so happy about the quality of food and the taste being really extraordinary.<br/><br/>We ordered 4 dishes -<br/>Nacho crunch (vegan) - So beautifully made, every bite had the right crisp and sauce. Topped with vegan cheese, this was my personal favorite.<br/><br/>The smokey (vegan pasta in red sauce) - Cooked to perfection, tangy and spicy. Good amount of vegetables tossed in.<br/><br/>Baby bites (vegan, stir fried potatoes) - Basic. Nothing extraordinary, not bad.<br/><br/>Vegan Ice cream - Mango - Show stopper! Nothing like any other mango flavoured ice cream I've eaten. This was real and good.

I have ordered from here a few times, I’ve tried a few things on their dessert menu.<br/>1. The almond chocolate cookie- this cookie is sweetened with jaggery and you do get an after taste of jaggery it’s topped with 2-3 chocolate chips. <br/>2. Almond biscuit- These were delivered nice and hot and good to have with tea or coffee.<br/>3. Keto brownie- wasn’t happy with this as it wasn’t sweetened with stevia or anything and was very dry so it just tasted like dry almond flour. <br/>4. Plain brownie- this brownie too was dry it looked soft but the only thing I could taste in this was jaggery. <br/>So all in all not happy with the brownies but the cookies are good. Look forward to trying the savoury dishes too.

Right at the end of hill road, situated at the diversion. This even with quite a few modern enmities stays true to their concept. They food they provide is based on village diet. And on À la carte you find dishes that are healthy and maybe straight outta village too.<br/>The ambience is soothing though. I have been thrice up until now and once I step in, it is a different and silent plane; even though it is right on a busy lane. <br/>Thus the plus one for the ambience. <br/><br/>Pro tip: More of a information, They provide jaggery instead of sugar for coffee. Try it, it is different and sometimes different can be interesting or maybe healthy.

Nice quaint place...the decor will steal the show. The menu has gluten free foods to offer, so one can be at ease and not worry about waist line...would request to put some variation in the menu, as a cafe I would like to have something more to nibble on than what's on offer.. keep up the good work.

Tucked away in the tiny lanes of Bandra, The Village Shop, is a cozy little place that serves super healthy and tasty food. <br/><br/>We started the Minestrone soup. It was really good. It has a good amount of vegetables and instead of rice, they added finely cut pasta. <br/><br/>Then we ordered the pesto pizza. This was superb. I am still salivating. The pesto tasted fresh, the grilled garlic was class and the base was super thin and made of wheat. <br/><br/>I wish I had more space in my tummy to try some other stuff out as well. <br/><br/>We ended the meal with a gooey chocolate cake. Considering it was made with no maida, it was really good. It was soft and moist. But you can definitely taste health while eating it.<br/><br/>I cant wait to go back for breakfast!<br/><br/>The staff is super sweet. The food comes quickly. No long waits. <br/>The vibe is super chilled. You have dogs chilling in the outside area. <br/><br/>Though its a bit expensive, but you can taste that in the quality of ingredients.

Nice cozy outlet tucked away in a corner just off st andrews church. Its peaceful for a nice chat up with friends or for a ‘me’ time. The menu is decent and the food taste good too. Have been there for breakfast twice. Eggs!👍🏼

This is a quaint little cafe with vegan delights Opp the church at bandstand cut off!<br/>The staff and owners are very friendly and recommended the Mexican bowl, aglio olio and veggie pizza.the food was served swiftly but I felt the Mexican bowl was more of a mash rather than each ingredient being separate as in cooked n mixed.the carrot cake was on the sweeter side but the date n banana was a delight.definitely will visit again.<br/>Ps:pocket friendly:)

I got the chocolate cake (vegan) and it was sooo good by far the best dessert I’ve gotten in India so far!

Small little cafe located on hillroad near St Andrews church. Food options are good! Ambiance is nice overall and the outdoor seating is good if the weather is pleasant. Service is average. Ordered a couple of items like Hot lemon ginger tea, brownie and eggs.<br/>Really enjoyed the "Hot lemon ginger tea"

This place is very secluded. If you need to talk to a person in peace for hours, u must visit this place. Food quality and taste were average (1/2 marks), pricing was a bit high (0.5/1 marks), service wasn’t that quick, I could only find two persons their at the outlet (0.5/1 marks) and ambience was so positive that you feel like sitting their for hours (1/1 marks).

WENT TO DINE WITH A FRIEND, WE FOUND THE VEGAN SCRAMBLED AKURI TO BE SALTY IN THE FIRST BITE AND ASKED THEM TO REPLACE IT. HERE'S HOW THE CONVERSATION WENT - <br/><br/>FRIEND : THIS AKURI IS SALTY, COULD YOU PLS CHANGE IT?<br/>THE CHEF AND WAITER : IT TASTES FINE TO ME<br/>FRIEND (SHOCKED) : OK, YOU MAY PLS HAVE IT - I'LL PAY FOR IT<br/>THE COOK : OK <br/><br/>ONLY VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE BAD FOOD BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT FEELS FINE TO THE CHEF.<br/><br/>USED TO BE A REGULAR AT THIS PLACE FOR COFFEE AND DESSERT BUT THIS EXPERIENCE IS JUST SO DISAPPOINTING. WILL DEFINITELY THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING AGAIN.

Ordered the Shiitake Mushroom Burger, and it arrived without a top! There was just the bread base and since nothing was holding it together from the top, the caramelised onion and mushroom patty had split all over the box. Also the patty was flavourless and thin, couldn’t taste the mushroom at all. Really ridiculous as this is a main dish and costs 475 bucks!

Nice cosy place with some choice of good juice and pizza. Many vegan/gluten free options, and service is friendly. price a bit on the higher side.<br/>
