Review Dynasty - Mumbai

The food is good, the service is great. However, I do find it to be a bit overpriced for the quality of food they serve. 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good place to have Chinese. My all time favourite here is chicken munchow soup. Also try their ice tea.

Food is not changed since long time, not sure if it's halal but waiter says its halal, buts it's expensive a bit as per the portion.

Frankly went to this place after years but seems everything was same. However wouldn't recommend eggplant stuffed in green sauce. It had blend test and too much of cornflour that consistency of sauce as also texture of egg plant had lost.

For tasty Chinese food, visit this place.

A different taste of Chinese food than the usual restaurants. Dynasty is easy to locate on SV Road, Santacruz. Elegant interiors and hygienic ambiance, Dynasty is a great choice for families and group of friends too. One can have a variety of veg/non veg starters and main course dishes available in their vast menu. Staff is friendly and they accept credit/debit cards. One admirable thing was them not mentioning the service charge on their bill. One has to park on the road outside the restaurant. Although parking on road is hassle free, I would suggest you park it across the road in some lane as during peak hours, SV Road could get congested making it difficult for you to park. No valet parking facility available.

An average size restaurant in Santacruz West, Mumbai, it is famous for its indo-chinese cuisine. For a Friday night, it wasn't very crowded and we easily got a place for 4 at 9pm. The best part was customisation of spice level, if you are craving for spicy manchurian or less spicy Manchow for kids, just let the expeditor know and he obliges. The food taste was good and typical Indo-chinese. We ordered Chicken Manchow soup, Lollypops, Chicken Manchurian Gravy, Prawns in Chilli Garlic sauce and Chicken Fried Rice. The service was quick, waiters were kind and polite. Not too heavy on the pocket as well, dishes are moderately priced. Parking is not available, so I recommend taking an Ola/Uber here. Overall good experience.

This was a nostalgic visit. I had last eaten at Dynasty in 2002 circa. I was delighted with the same level of taste bud stirring food, especially their starters. Crispy Chicken and Chicken Spinach (I think that's what it is called) are superb with the right amount of spices. Give it a go...

Been there for lunch..nice place .. polite staff ..indo-chineese food ..being a vegetarian my choices were limited here ..the food was served without much wait...taste was nice, hot and tasty food... quantity was good....honey chilli paneer was yum... had veg hakka noodles with veg balls in hot garlic sauce...

A landmark in Santacruz West Being ordering food and having family and friends visit the place since childhood. The Manager Mr Srinivas and staff are very hospitable...

Good place for family dining..

We had ordered 3 chicken schezwan noodles it was tasty well made but i was disappointed as there were hardly any chicken pieces in each box compared to what i have always eaten as we have been regular customer also only 2 small sauce packet was given.

Dynasty, Santacruz, has some really good food! Great service & a beautiful ambience too! The staff is extremely courteous and their Chinese food is amazing

I ordered that Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice, Chicken Malaysian Noodles, Chicken Shredded Hunan Gravy and Chicken lollipop. I just love the quantity that Dyanasty serves. The chicken schezwan fried rice is an all time favourite and all time favourite. The Noodles they serve are completely unique and you won't find the same or better noodles anywhere. The gravy was perfect and the lollipop was decent but a bit Stretchy rest Everything Was Perfect and Yummy. I give it A 4star.🙂🖤

I had ordered for a gravy dish and they delivered a dry one. When I called the place, some person called Srinivas picks up and after checking admits the wrong item was delivered. His solution - I should adjust this time and in next order they will send extra gravy. He refused to do anything beyond that, inspire of my explaining I desperately needed the gravy. He told me that I was being uncompromising and I should learn to adjust in this situation. Won't be ordering from here again.
Nimisha Balachandran
Ordered food from here in the middle of Lockdown 5. Was skeptical about the freshness of the food. However, when I got the food it was as fresh as could be and delicious! 😋

a great place for some authentic chinese cuisine and the place is well maintained. Some of my favorites at this outlet is the kung pao chicken , chilli chicken and some chicken manchurian soup

Dynasty has been around serving the best Indian Chinese in the Khar-Santacruz area for years now. Compact and efficient, the USP of the restaurant is good quality, good quantity and affordable rates. Their servings are large--a rice dish, a gravy and a plate of noodles is usually sufficient for my family of four.

Highly recommended: The Jade sweet corn soup (with spinach) and the Malaysian noodles:)

Although space is limited, if you head over on a quiet day, you will not be disappointed. Great value for money.

Thankyou:)

Overpricing and fooling with discount when placing order through calling Dynasty directly, fraud peps be aware of trap!!

The food here is something I've had since I was a kid.. Though it's been a while I had eaten here. The food isn't the same any more.

We ordered the veg manchow soup. ( Lacking Flavour) and the crispy noodles served with it were anything but crispy.
Next we ordered fried wontons.. And let me tell you I've been given more quantity in prashadis this Ganesh festival than what was there inside this poor thing. The wonton sheet wasnt tasty either
Then came in the crispy thread paneer, so thing I've eaten for eons. Sadly again it felt as if the paneer filling was super heated in a microwave before being fried. The crispy threads were still nice and golden but the paneer gave me a burnt tongue more than that of my morning coffee and surprisingly the next piece was cold inside.
The only saving grace was the burnt garlic fried rice which we ordered with a veggies in hun an sauce and we're asked if we'll eat mushrooms (we delightfully said yes) and got two cut pieces 😱. Again the gravy was just okay and I'm sad to say this but
Dynasty was like a dhoom movie trailer that spoilt my childhood memories of this place
We have always enjoyed eating dynasty's food at the restaurant. Was very happy to see that dynasty is now on zomato. Ordered my favourite dishes with high expectations only to be disappointed. Egg fried rice hardly had any egg. Sweet and sour sauce has an artificial colour and taste was mediocre. Does the restaurant have a separate kitchen for delivery? This is not the quality of food that we associate with Dynasty. Very disappointed.

The good food legacy which dynasty has been carrying for years suddenly changed during my last visit.

Always a fan of service so much so that the staff will inform you that the order is more then sufficient for the number of ppl.

The decor chinesish which has be consistently same for years now. I always feel its a lil crampy with a lot of tables besides each other.

Manchow soup one by two - For the first time i found the soup bland. Had to customise it with the sauces provided.

Chicken lollipop - aweseomly crisp from the outside but somehow uncooked from the inside

Triple shezwan rice - this is supposed to be the best dish at dynasty but again i found it tasteless. We had a small portion and asked the staff to alter the taste and pack it for us. Reaching home we realised the staff jus packed it the way it was.

Fresh lime soda - always made to perfection. A balance of salt and sweetness.

The worst thing happened next day morning when i experienced an upset tummy. Never before had that happened after my visit to dynasty

I have always loved the food at dynasty which makes me travel all the way from town to khar but the last visit things went from tasty to nasty at dynasty

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT BURNT GARLIC RICE IS, THEN YOU DESERVE DYNASTY.
Don't order looking at the fancy names of the dishes, they don't even know how it should actually taste. Low Standards of food taste and quality. Have had much better Chinese before.
Sudipto Sengupta
UDIPI OWNERS NOW RUNNING CHINESE RESTAURANT DYNASTY... A complete disappointment.

Burnt Garlic Fried Rice made with Raw Garlic Paste.

Chicken strips in Hunan sauce made in tomato paste/sauce served in a dining plate. Thinking its paneer makhani with a drop of soya sauce.

Fried noodles served with soup were not crisp at all, after informing the waiter he microwaved the same and served it back to us which turned dark brown.

CHICKEN and VEG SPRING ROLL were fried in non veg burnt oil having bad odour of fish.

5 spice Hoisin chicken looked and tasted like sukha chicken

This is exactly what happens when you jump from a south Indian restaurant to running a Chinese restaurant.

GUYS GO BACK TO IDLI SAMBAR!!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

VERY UNHYGIENIC CROCKERY AND CUTLERY.
Sadaf Hashmi
Being a old and well known restaurant in the city, it's very disappointing that basic Chinese food could not be served to satisfy the palate of the customers.

Their top rated dish Burnt Garlic Fried Rice was a total miss, completely tasteless. Chicken strips in Hunan sauce too failed to add any magic to the completely bland rice.

Fried noodles served with soup were not crisp at all, after informing the waiter he microwaved the same and served it back to us.. Awesome service!!
Starters - chicken and veg spring roll were filled majorly with cabbage and onion. 5 spice Hoisin chicken saved the day though the quantity neither the taste wasn't satiating at all.

It seemed that the management too isn't concerned about the quality of the food being served and adopts a very casual attitude even after raising a concern.
Sameer Bhatt
This is a very old and well know restaurant for Indo Chinese Food.

The ambience is same as it has been over the period of time.

Service is prompt and staff is well versed with the menu and are courteous.

Thread Paneer
Veg Wanton Soup
Crispy Schezwan Veg
Burnt Garlic Rice
Veg Manchurian Balls
Hakka Noodles are recommended.

Priyanka Kar
Tried the Chicken Wanton soup (3/5), Tshingai Chicken (3.5/5) and Basil Chicken Fried Rice (4/5)! Must say, their dips and sauces are simply great in taste! Overall, great food and even better quantity. ☺️
Manish Wagh
Food was very tasty and the service was quick. The staff was polite and courteous. I recommend Mixed burnt garlic fried rice and chicken wanton in mains.
Mazahir S Bandookwala
Classic Chinese joint....its been there for a very long time...polite staff...cozy ambience and bang on the main road...went for spicy crab soup perfect for a rainy day and tasted just right...prawns in red sauce was just right and finally went for chicken combo in hunan sauce with the right amount of veggies and downed it with Chinese hot jasmine tea which is a must try with the right amount of aroma....amongst a very few Chinese joints who have maintained quality and taste....go for it guys

This is one of the oldest restaurant in Santacruz, been there for ages. Recently, while we were in the area, we decided to have lunch there.

Ambience: A very small and compact restaurant, decent ambience suitable for friends and family crowds.

Food: We called for three things -
- Steamed veg wantons - all the wantons were broken, and it just felt like eating flat sheets of pasta. The taste and masala was good, but didn’t feel like we were eating wantons.
- Garlic fried rice - this dish was delicious.
- Exotic vegetables in black bean sauce - while the taste was good, the dish smelled a little odd.
While we did enjoy the taste of the items we ordered but some things about them put us a little off too.

Service - The service was fine, nothing extra ordinary. When we called to tell them about the wantons, he just reacted like - this is this, take it or leave it!

Well, honestly, this place does serve some really good stuff. Just be careful with what you order.

It is a place which I've been ordering and visiting for a very long time now and it never ever disappoints me. The ambience is good. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. The place is clean. The food is amazing. Chicken Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Hunan Chicken, Chicken Crispy, Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Chicken Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken and the list goes on are definitely a must try. It is surely tried and tested and tasted😋. The service is also pretty quick. All in all a must go for all the Chinese food lovers.

Good place for Chinese food, but no parking available.but food is very nice, they maintain clean environment.both veg and non-veg food is available.they also give home delivery options.
Divya Iyer
Had ordered hot and sour soup which was not great at all,5 spice rice but no enough vegetables at all, stuffed mushrooms also was not great ...only Malaysian noodles was good..
Sakshi P
The place is famous for Chinese.

They have less option for vegetarians. But a must go to place for non vegetarian peeps.

The quantity served is good and enough for 3 to 4 people.

Overall:

Ambience - 4/5

Food - 4.5/5

Hygiene - 5/5

Service - 5/5
Riya Goswami
I had tried this restaurent a year or a half backfor schewan fried rice. Their quantity to the price was pretty amazing but their taste was quite not worth it. Someone who is having on a hungry stomach, just for filling it’s stomach can go here. Otherwise preferable a no!

Have been to this place since my childhood days... But this time I was visiting this place almost after 2 years ...
The restaurant now looks pretty congested, small and overcrowded..
The menu is small not many options, let me tell you all this place typically serves Indian Chinese.
The quality of food has detoriated over in years .. The stewards have become very rude. I requested them to drain off the oil from the schezwan sauce and they were pretty rude and seemed disinterested.
The manchow soup we ordered was absolutely tasteless and bland but had oil. We ordered the soup 1 by 2 after which even I could not finish it .
The starters we ordered were chicken dumplings and thread chicken.
Both were just cold and dint taste pretty fresh. Though the taste was alright but dint seem like they had made it that particular time .
Coming to the main course we ordered for veg Hakka noodles and chicken tarosnest.. Both the items tasted fine but had plenty of oil, even after telling them to keep the oil less.
Overall the quality and prices dint match with each other.. There are plenty of restaurants which are better then this one . They really need to improve . Just because they are the oldest in that area doesnt mean that they will serve poor quality food to people and people wont say anything .
All the best team .. You guys need to improve a lot in terms of your food quality, taste and customer service .
AMIN KAJANI
Been there for lunch good place, good ambiance.
We had chi thing hai in starters and American chopsuey good experience..
Food. 4/5
Service. 4/5
Ambiance. 4/5
Vibes. 3/5

A goog place for Chinese food loved the American chopsey but the starter was ok ok .
Service is good
Ac is good it was cool atmosphere inside.
Dimpy Bakhda
This restaurant does not accept Zomato orders. Zomato will show you only false and lying updates. Zomato does not have a phone helpline. Zomato has a very pathetic chat based helpline which gives only automated senseless responses after waiting for 15 mins. Pls do not trust Zomato.
Treta.Patra
Good place to spend time with family. Various oriental dish that one can try. Tasty food. Value for money. Service is little slow. Non-veg items are must try.
Yash Vagal
Not Good. Food Quality inferior and not at all worth for the pay. Vegetarians don't go at all. The cost does not even give Ambiance . We get better Chinese on Mumbai streets and local hotels

Visited dynasty after ages..have fond memories of this place since childhood. Coming to the food...we had the chicken spicy coriander soup which was heart-warming. Followed by tshingai king prawns and roast lamb in soya and chilli. Both the starters were wholesome and delectable.
Rabiya Shaikh
A place ive been visiting since ages. The best chinese restaurant found in that locality. Some delicious soup to start with and carry on with the starters like the thread chicken, the lolipop, chiken pepper blasted and then to have the fried rice with noodles. The dessert options are limited with icecreams and mousse. The staff and ambience scores really good in the score board. A must visit at Dynasty
Aabid Shaikh
I have been seeing this place since last 3 decades almost and every visit to this place has a waiting time of atleast 10mins. They are the best joint in santacruz serving chinese cuisine. My all time favourite is the triple schezwan fried rice, thread chicken, chicken lolipop. The place is a bit clammed for a leisure seating however the food and staff wont disappoint you at all.... 5 starrated.....Dynasty
Maryam Farhat
Dynasty been here since ages, I have always loved the quantity and the food they had to offer, the Malaysian noodles, triple Shezwan fried rice or noodles,it’s best for ordering in or when having a party!

This past Saturday was here for lunch with my family & relatives. Had come back to this restaurant after many years ago. It is a iconic place for college students, corporates, families etc... When we entered here, it was jam packed and not an inch to move. We waited for 15-20 minutes finally got two tables (pax were more) one behind the other & not side by side. We were glad atleast we got places to sit. Now coming to their service, which in my case has lowered down drastically. Being busy never can be a excuse as one opens a restaurant to cater to a full house. We waited almost half an hour at our tables for drinking water. Finally jug of water arrives, but no glasses. Simple words, sloppy service. Now let's talk about food & beverage. I ordered the following;

1). Chicken Fried Wontons =A must try dish. Eight pieces which are paper crisply fried just as I use to enjoy them here during my college days.

2). Chicken Lollypop = needs improvement as the good old touch in this has faded.

3). Chicken Fried Rice = aromatic & perfectly balanced.

4). Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice = same like the Lollypop. The touch on this also getting faded.

5). Chicken Chilly Gravy = well I don't recommend it to be tried as its not how it used to be tasting IN the olden days.

6). Fish(rawas) Ginger Gravy = good in taste and the fish cooked good too. Just reduce on corn starch, as the gravy is too thick.

7). American Chopsuey = could have been a little more saucier. Felt it a bit too dry.

Over all anything said & written about this place ain't going to affect it. The place everyday does a hell of a good business. When around there next time will definitely drop in again.

Regards,

Chef Nirmal.M.

Midrange Casual Chinese Restaurant situated on SV Road and easily reachable from both Santacruzand Khar Railway station
Ambience:
It’s a neat clean cozy place with tables catering up to 50 to 60 odd folks at a time
Seating is in two levels and it’s generally humming
Waiting outside has plastic chairs abutting the road
Food :
Ordered Three Treasure clear soup with chicken
Which was gentle and soothing
I recommend that you try it 4/5
Ordered Crispy thread paneer after reading about it on zomato
But it’s messy to eat and frankly did nothing for me and shan’t order it again
3/5
Tried their American chopsuey on a whim
Took the mixed version and as the captain said it came sweet and we had to liberally add the chilly vinegar to make it palatable
The flavour is so strong that it souses out anything else that you may have eaten or would want to eat
3.5/5
Reminds you of the days when only this was served and devoured in Chinese eateries
Quantity is generous and price 390 order if you are a group of five or more else this is sufficient meal for two
Service : prompt but nothing to rave about
This place is recommended if you would like to eat Chinese in a decent but not abs top of the pops establishment once in a while
Prices are Reasonable here
But No Valet here
No kimchi served
No fortune cookies either
They charge you for packing as well
these three dishes cost us 800 Rs

#chinese Mrinal Tiwari

Dynasty is a Chinese cuisine restaurant. One can visit this place with friends and family. The Ambience of this place is decent one. The service is also good.
Ordered Veg manchow soup, veg Singapore rice and veg noodles. The quality of food is good.
I would rate this place 3/5.
Vinit Sonavane
The food is great and there so many dishes to choose from the menu. The place is nice an family oriented. The staff is also friendly, they will guide you on what to order if there is any problem in ordering. Decent place to be in.
Mr. Shrinivas shetty needs to learn how to talk to his customers. Bloody prick. He yells shouts and is extremely rude. The food sucks and waiters don't know how to serve. Pathetic experience.
Aman
Pathetic service. Very rude staff. The manager does not know how to talk to people.
Nothing special about this place. Extremely poor managrment.
HORRIBLE !!!!!’ Never Going Back
Sitting in the restaurant after so called dinner and writing this review. Went back after years as had fond memories , they have degraded the place to the next level. We ordered soups and starters , soup had water and meat well demarcated it was horrible , the chicken lollipops were dipped in red colour and lots of oil , the only thing edible was chicken on crispy spinach. The icing on the cake was the Hunan chicken which tasted like rotten meat in a salted sauce and Hakka noddles have better on the streets of Mumbai. This restaurant ruined my sons birthday evening.
Would highly recommend that no one ever eat here instead try Paul’s Chinese at Shivaji Park they have better quality food
Rohan Thomas
Food is good, not that great but the service is absolutely pathetic.. The staff has no manners at all..the restaurant was not even crowded and these waiters wanted us to give our food order in hurry!!! These waiters keep murmuring words behind every guests and pass on comments to thier colleagues... The owner seriously needs to look into this issue.. Really these guys spoilt my lunch.. Disgusting...

Dynasty - My go to Chinese place during my childhood when there were hardly any decent Chinese restaurant around santacruz & khar that served Chinese food as tasty as dynasty. We dint even understand some of the items served back then but dint care as it tasted 😋

Went to dynasty for dinner after ages & on entering relived those beautiful times when we came here for birthday dinners with family & friends.

Ordered few ATF items :-
Veg Manchow Soup
Veg Spring Rolls
Veg Crispy Wontons
Veg Hakka Noodles
Malaysian flat Noodles
Veg Paneer in Hunan Sauce
Veg Burnt Garlic Rice

Schezwan sauce served is oily but lip smacking & mix it with your dishes to spice it up . You’ll love it ever more .

Portions are good, food is tasty & Staff offers quick service which is good to see.

Interiors & seating arrangements could definitely improvise.
It was good to dine in Dynasty after ages & relive old memories.
Mukta Chandani
Extremely delicious and great quality Chinese. One of the best in town for chicken lollipops and soups. Sizzlers are mouth-watering too. It's definitely worth the money.
Shailesh Agre
I use to love this place back in 2009-10! But recentky visited and the food here wasnt as loving as it was before :((((((( !
Loved their chicken dishes....
Pradnya228
The best Chinese restaurant ever! Delicious food with tasty add-on sauces.. love the one with honey..

Usually order: American choupsey, sesame chicken starter, honey chilli potato.
Guntass Cour Sandhu
The food was very oily and you won't be getting an authentic chinese flavour. I ordered spring rolls, crispy veg, thread chicken roll and egg burnt garlic fried rice. The rice were decent rest evertyhing was mediocre. Go at your own risk.
Niharika Mehta
It’s a cozy Chinese restaurant! Food is spicy n variety is good!
Perfect place for a quick Chinese dinner for 2!
Service is fast n staff is polite
Pooja
Most horrible place ever in terms of hospitality the servers have no manners to talk to women...on given an American Express card was told it’s not accepted & dat was d only card on me when said to have a board mention or inform customers Bfr I was treated n spoken immensely harsh n kept arguing as if it was my fault... after paying money n getting treated horribly m sure nobody wld prefer... a total no on my list... need to get ur management sorted to b in business.. NEVER RECOMMENDED!!!

I have been going to this place for more than 15 years now, I can definitely say this is one of the best places to have delicious Chinese food. The taste has not changed in all these years. Any dish you try, the taste is never compromised. The portion size are very good.
My all time favourite is Jumbo prawns in chilly garlic, prawns schewan fried rice, shredded chicken with burnt chilly, spicy crabmeat soup... And I can go on and on and on. Anyone not been at this place definitely give it a try you will not be let down.
Harshal Bohra
The most insipid food i ever had in my entire life was at dynasty had ordered a soup and it tasted so yuck had to cancel all the orders and left the place on the spot. This place is not worth it if you want to have authentic chinese food.
Mohokar Rasika
Wish i could rate this place with a huge zero but there is no such option the most jejune food i ever had in my life would recommend not visiting this place.
Avneesh Vidhani
Oldest Chinese place near Khar and santacruz, passed thru a lot of times never went in. Thought of trying it out today. Nice ambience. I don't know why a fine dine won't sell Alcohol. I was in a mood for a few drinks with my dinner. Anyways. The soup was nice, chicken coriander soup. A must have. The chicken spring rolls, won't really recommend it, the filling of Chi Ken was too much, sorry but too much of anything is not always good. I am a noodle boy, more than rice, so went for chicken noodles. Yes it was bag on the way I wanted. Thin, soft, amazing taste, the flavours would remain in your mind, and you can always go back for it. Will get back to try more.
KD Foodography
This place is a small place for Chinese with average looking ambience. The food is good but very costly. It serves good indian chinese not the authentic Chinese... But it is not very exclusive as the place is very congested and it is costly compared to other good Chinese places...
Naqia Khateeb
Quantity is great!! I am a chinese foodie and i judge it by schezwan sauce..which was ok ok..so dint like it at the frst..food was average..
Sj
One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Santa Cruz west serving some really amazing food.
Been there for a family dinner and the place is always packed even on a Monday. Place is decently sized with basic interiors. Staff is polite n guide you well about the dishes. We tried the seafood Wonton soup, chicken lollipop in schezwan sauce. Crispy spinach chicken chicken, veg fried rice, chicken In hunan sauce, Hakka Noodles. Everything was good. Their best selling appetizer is Corn cream which is simply delicious. A bit over priced but its worth the quantity served.
Taste - 4/5
Quantity - 5/5
Service - 4/5
Ambiance - 3/5
Pricing - 3/5

Excellent place to eat Chinese food. You must try jumbo prawns if u are a seafood lover. Also the chicken man how soup is very nice. Great ambience and atmosphere.

My all time favorite food at the best Chinese restaurant in the suburbs that I know off. Great service at lunch as always and very efficient and honest workers who guide you well. I love the food and sure you will love it too.

Chinese food at its best! Delicious Chinese food absolutely lip smacking. Dynasty even delivers food at home so if you’re craving for some yummy Chinese food you should definitely check out dynasty!
Saneel Phatarpekar
Dynasty has been around since my childhood. I remember quite vividly how I got introduced to the Chinese cuisine as we know it now. Tasted my first of many fried rice and noodles and chicken lollypops here. This place has stood the test of time. The taste remains exactly how it used to be. A very genuine version of the indo Chinese flavours. The portions are more than decent. Virtually anything you order here doesn’t disappoint. The ambience is very pleasing. The staff is experienced and very cordial. They give u good suggestions. It’s my go to Chinese joint and hopefully it will remain so for many more years to come

Have grown up ordering from here.

Soup: Always manchowsoup/ sweet corn

Starters: shredded patato, veg crispy wontons, crispy thread paneer, spring rolls.

Mains: burnt garlic rice and manchurian

** Always call for extra schezwan (it’s THE best)
Drsonalnk10
Good place for reasonably priced good Chinese food. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Good ambience adds to the experience. Would definitely recommend this place.

If you’re looking for just chinese then this is the place !
Chicken lollipop and burnt garlic haka noodles were super tasty
The only downside is that it’s a little expensive than it should be !
However the food quality and taste is more than satisfactory!
Jennifer Thomas
The food that we ordered wasn't as great as what I had when I visited the restaurant. Both the schezwan rice and noodles were missing something. The chicken lollipop and the wanton soup were a shade better
Rasha Balooch
We ordered vegetable rice noodles and they had sprigs of carrot only.
I don’t understand how restaurants have the audacity to charge this much and send such bad bad quality food.
The chicken sweet corn soup was bland with absolutely no taste.
It was quite an awful meal for a Sunday evening.
I wouldn’t order from here ever again!
Pronoti Wadhwani
Had been for dinner tonight to Dynasty, Santacruz. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Have sworn never to step in again. Manager, steward & waiter were all rude & had a “don’t care” attitude. Found a hair in the food & inspite of that they were not apologetic. I’ve heard the kitchen is very dirty & unhygienic. Please visit at your own risk.
Varun Wadhwani
The staff is unfriendly and not at all accommodating!! The Steward , Bikas Giri should be reprimanded !! I have been coming to Dynasty since 20 years and I have always enjoyed coming here not only because of the food but always because of the hospitality. The past few times , the steward has been extremely rude ! Dynasty has been taking their customers for granted. There is always a way of dealing with your customers and entertaining their concerns, you can’t be impolite. I hope people read this and know what to expect the next time they think of visiting .

This place is outstanding all round!
The place itself is clean and well ventilated and the service is prompt and responsive.
I was there with a friend, we ordered the Veg Tom yum soup which was awesome, we also ordered their Shinghai potatoes which was very flavoursome, then we had their special veg fried rice which wasn't in the menu but came as an out of menu recommendation from the head waiter, this was also amazing!
All in all we spent about Rs.1000 for two of us and there was enough food for three! The portions are large!
Just loved this place. Will go back again when I visit Mumbai!

This used to be a place where food was also good but now it's really bad ... We have been ordering and dining from dynasty since 15 yrs. As y can see this chicken is loaded with food color that's unacceptable. It's the sweet chilli chicken dry . I had to throw it. Plus the prices are so high for this kind of street food quality. won't be ordering again.

Finding good quality Chinese restaurants is not a easy task!

This place is quite the revelation though! The place serves good Chinese food , has a great decor and is not overpriced unlike most of the Chinese restaurants!👍

Seating is limited as the outlet isn't the most spacious of all! Reach before the peak hours or be ready to wait for your turn!🕓

The Food Ordered -

Spicy Crabmeat soup - The soup turned out to be a fantastic pick , the spicy green chillies complimented the crab meat properly , I could taste the meat even though it being spicy!

Chicken Pepper Garlic - The dish had a very strong flavour which was appreciated , the chunks of chicken tossed with onions and capsicum were tender and tasted quite delicious!

Crispy Spinach Chicken - We were quite skeptical to order this but it turned out to be the best dish of the lot! Chicken was coated with fresh spinach and was fried to a crisp! The crunchy texture and the totally different taste of the dish was amazing!👌

Prawns Schezwan Hakka Noodles - Prawns were tossed up along with hakka noodles in schezwan sauce , the quality of the noodles was good and the prawns were properly cooked! The sauce being not very spicy , the dish tasted delicious!😍

Pancake with vanilla Ice cream - The hot pancake tasted excellent with the ice cream as it gave the dish a perfect hot-cold balance! The sweetness of the dish was also kept under control making it not very sugary!

Overall Dynasty is a very good chinese restaurant which offers genuine and tasty food!❤

The reason this outlet misses out on a 5 star rating is because of the limited seating area it offers!

Recommended!👍
Dynasty is a well know place in santacruz for over a decade now I have been here since childhood
I just love the soups here and if your confused what you wanna order in starters then just order chicken satay in peanut sauce you will not regret it for sure and rest for the main course you could order anything from them menu and it is just awesome !!!

Their menu is vintage and taste is boring. Quantity couldn't suffice three average eaters. Food was very expensive. Not worth the price. Absolutely overhyped place.
Only 3 desserts to choose from all of which are the same thing.
The ambience is claustrophobic and old.
Only plus point is the good service. But in front of the bad tasting food, it doesn't really stand a chance.
Have been here more than 3 times. The condition is the same.
Dynasty is like a tradition for most Mumbai folks. It has been a part of everyone’s growing up.
So on recording, we decided to order food from this old favourite.

And we weren’t disappointed. The Hakka noodles were as smooth as ever. And the chicken that went with it was equally stunning.

To top it all, we also tried some momos. They were decent, but not great.

Located at SV road in Santacruz makes this place easy to reach via any transport.
Talking about the ambience, its pretty good in chinese concept. Seatings are comfortable and the area is quite spacious.
Coming to food, too disappointed with it and so the stars given as there was difference in the things odered and things got.
Staff was genuine but had difficulty with their own menu.

Have been eating here since I can’t even remember when.Earlier a South Indian restaurant called Pushpak and now Dynasty both are like home to me. Typical Indian Chinese which I am sure is loaded with MSG haha but the taste...omg! I’ve eaten the whole menu over 10 times at least and order in religiously at least once a week. Try their sesame honey chicken, chopsuey, wooly chicken, ice tea _, actually there’s nothing about the menu I don’t like.
If you’re looking for typical desi Chinese this is your answer

Dynasty is known as the queen of the suburbs where chinese food is concerned. I have been eating at dynasty since the past 22 years now. They have maintained their taste, quality of food and service for so many years now. The restaurant can accomodate 70 guests and is used many times for kitty parties and birthday parties. On the weekends there is almost 1 hour waiting if you arrive after 8.30pm. They provide home delivery too if you are living nearby.

We ordered chicken manchow soup along with chicken american chopsuey. Both the dishes were superb. They have their special selected sauces (picture displayed)
which are out of the world.

Damages to the pocket- Rs 515 (approx US $ 7.25 ) 5% gst charged and no service tax.

Overall experience- excellent taste , decent portions, very good service. I would rate this place 3.5 on 5

Good Chinese Hub in the vicinity of office is a real gem for a Chinese lover. Quantity of food is worth the cost.
Decent ambience and good customer service also.

One of my all time favourite Chinese restaurants in Bombay! Nothing like Indian Chinese na?
This was one of those cute tiny places where you could get huge portions without burning a hole in your pocket, but now they’ve hiked up their prices a tiny bit I know I know :(
Its okay, they haven’t decreased their portion sizes, so its still absolutely worth it!
Have their basic hakka noodles, schezwan hakka noodles, burnt garlic fried rice with vegetable green sauce, gobi manchurian, kung pao potatoes, spring rolls, I can go on and on! I love them all!
The ambience is mainly typical Chinese dragons running all over the walls and their service is very efficient! Call them up once before visiting or you’ll end up waiting for a table! Now go! :D
One of the well known places for authentic Chinese food in Santacruz. Being Extremely hungry we happened to visit this place and It was packed as it was a weekend. Must say the food here is highly commendable. The service is super quick. The steward really helped us in selecting some yummy dishes. Overall a good place to visit along with family.

It was my fist experience and a bad one . Had ordered for some sea food dishes it was not at all fresh. Would never go back again. Just the service was good and quick.

Like typical mumbai where the crowd flocks one place like no Tomorrow. We went to the mall for a movie and wanted to kill the curiosity. We got the table, the staff is helpful and polite. surely, worth visiting here for authentic chinese dishes.
Aarti Mansukhani
Tried the rice noodles chicken Meifoon. Was a very light dish to eat. Crowded also on a weekday Friday. Prompt service. Slightly high prices.

Overpriced! No value for money. Food quality as good as any mediocre Chinese restaurant. Staff is arrogant. No mouthfreshner provided. Waiters constantly keep on staring. Overall pathetic experience.

Good indian chiense food. Great quick service. Had chicken sweetcorn soup. Chicken pepper garlic for starters. For the mains had sch noodles and woolly chicken. Noodles were good in quantity.

They serve the sauces the coriander one and a sweet sauce is too yum. We skipped the deserts we were too full.

Overall a good exp and a great evening with friends.

Hey Guys,

Dynasty is one of the best restaurants for authentic Chinese food in and around Santacruz. I had gone there with my friends for lunch. I loved the Chicken fried rice , wharton soup. I loved the quality of food. The quantity is also generous. I loved the service as well. The only thing is you have to reserve the table first otherwise will have to wait in the queue, especially on weekends. I will give it 4 stars rating out of 5.
Rehan Balaporia
Ordered the Chicken in black bean sauce, the chicken in Dynasty Special sauce, the paneer special onion bell sprout in chilli garlic, one veg veg fried rice, one chicken fried rice and one veg Hakka noodles. The food is delicious and the servings are brilliant. The food fed approximately 8 very hungry people.
