Small eatery. But open till late. So that's an advantage. Bumped into this place while I was looking for places to eat late at night. Staff was courteous and generous. Service was quick. I had an bread roll (served on bread instead of wrap) and Pizza.
Atmosphere was jovial with Live cricket playing on the TV for the viewing pleasure of the patrons.
Food quality wasn't that great, but in case you're hungry late night or craving a beer, this is the place to visit.

I hate my pal for not bringing me here earlier. She has been taking me on food rendezvous since 2016. Amazing place. Good food. Pizzas are good. Their menu rates are not updated as yet here on zomato I guess. A pint of beer mentioned 250rs here is charged 300. They have been giving away a free beer on a bucket.. that is one on three. Enjoyy.

It is just a perfect place to spend your evening. Sometimes you have to wait to get the table and the other times you're just lucky. Ambiance was great with music and service was fast instead of the general crowd. Highly recommended ☺️

This was my 3rd visit to ny grill which is on 1st floor of cafe newyork. It’s a small pub.They have good offers for drinks. We tried their pizzas,paneer tikka,chicken lollypop,bruschetta and fried rice. Food always is very good here.

"NY What?" and the reply came back as NY Bar & Grill Pub.Located at Chowpatty, its the weekend hub for the town people as its near by chowpatty beach well connected to Marine Drive. Since the crowd is good on weekend, we were in queue for getting the table. However it did not took long NY coordinator assisted with the good place and table for our group of people.The first thing which strike me is the Ambiance which is awesome, dim lights, with the Televisions A very good place for the occasion of World Cup, T20, India V/s Pakistan Cricket Match.About food which has the good quality, quantity and taste. I have ordered Chicken Shangai, Chicken Chilly, Chicken 99 and Paneer Tikka all had yummie taste and quality. Its quite in budget for the ordinary people as well for not being whole in the pocket.Overall its good place to visit as I have been twice !!

K.P Potatoes - yes the sauce is the same as Paneer chilly but spices are different and its more spicy. Simple yet good. Cubes of potatoes.
Fries with Skin - few make it with skin and this is one of them. Topped with cheese and BAKED . YUM
KIBBEH - Chicken minced and hummus served with Pita. Try this.
Chicken Burger - Wow , they say hand topped chicken patty full of flavor. Juicy , tender just perfect. Grilled Onions and BBQ sauce gives the sharpness and the smokiness. Overall Good. Price reasonable.
Baked Garlic Prawns are good - in white sauce.
CREME CARAMEL - worth every mile reaching to this place.

This place is near to my home, so i visit this place frequently. The place is not too crowded and a nice place to hangout. The beer deals are good, if you go in a group. The cheesy fries are amazing to go with any drink. But last time the cheesey sauce was wierd. But overall nice place to visit.
Great place to watch cricket matches. Big HD screen and led tvs all over and music by a live DJ during the irritating advertisements ! Food is absolutely superb. Try the chicken lollipops. The pizza is grilled to perfection every time with great cheese. Beers are always at a steal. Happy hours till 11pm !! It's a great casual pub for chilling out with a bunch of friends. Been here a million times for matches and otherwise. Foods always perfectly same !
We wanted to go to some place where we can have lots of food and drinks and that too without spending a lot. Open to options, Zomato suggested this place.
When we reached here, we thought we might not be in the right place, entering it lead us to this cool bar. So, we kinda had that feeling of cowboy times, if there had been faces with those hats who turned to look at us and a guy who was just sitting in a corner playing guitar.. hahaha.. So, this place has that kinda ambience which gave us that feeling.
Ordered lots of pitchers and that too on happy hours. We ordered onion rings and a chicken dish which was again yummy.

Happy and chirpy place! Went there during Happy Hours, an excellent decision. We ended up ordering 3 pitchers of beer. The offer of one plus one applied, that set us right with six pitchers of beer! Also ordered Chicken Salami, Veg Deluxe and Italian veg pizzas. Thin crust and good taste! The music here isn't blasting, so good ambience for conversation as well. A good visit!

👌Awesome break-out joint and my first visit to any such happening place in Mumbai. The place is unique with a tremendous energy & I loved being here. I watched the first innings of the India Vs Australia T-20 Cricket Match and drafting this review during the intermission. I am sure INDIA will beat the Aussies tonight.

Well, I landed this afternoon in Mumbai and I hardly know much places out here. My visit to this awesome place was 'by chance' as my original plan was to walk up till Chopatty but on seeing this place enroute, I was inquisitive to step in. And wow !! The atmosphere was electrifying when I stepped in. The place was jam packed with the INDIAN tri-colour being waved by few enthusiasts who had come to enjoy their evening here. The DJ was ever ready to press in loud music the moment any Australian wicket fell.
Delicious Black Pepper Chicken
Celebrating my first day in Mumbai, went in for a beer and black pepper chicken starter. It was hot and spicy. Good to taste.
The hospitality out here is excellent and I met the owner of the place too. A very fine man & he was proud to see such fantastic response from all the people who had gathered there to enjoy their evening.

Almost a daily weekend haunt for my food cravings. Meat lover's lasagna and The Grilled Chicken in Dill Sauce is a personal favorite.
We also ordered chicken poppers but I think the dip doesn't do it any justice.
The music goes perfectly with the ambience. A good place to have great weekend dinners :)

This time I ordered Kheema with half fry omelette on top and it was the best combination I had for long time. I also tried their chicken burger which was good enough.
One would certainly not expect this place to exist right above its dull and silent sister Cafe New York. I was pleasantly surprised to see the vibe this place has - with good music, good food and decent crowd. The service is a bit slow and the waiting staff looked unable to handle the demands of the patrons.
Pictured below is Spicy Smoked Chicken Sausage which was not spicy at all (thankfully) but absolutely delicious. Some fish and chips (taste is not consistent, fluctuates every time). Some creamy chicken which is absolutely delish.
Great place to go with a group of friends! They have nice music and sports matches going on 24x7. The service is really good and the cheese fries are a must to have!

Even though the weekdays aren't that happening compared to pubs in Colaba or Palladium or Versova-Juhu areas, this one's just fine..They have Happy hours from 1pm to 10pm on Mon-Thurs & from 1pm to 8pm on Fri-Sun..Pitchers are moderately priced between 750-1100 (+taxes)..Not only that, they have some amazing combos with the Pitchers..The options include Nachos, Chicken Wings or Pasta..Most of the times I've only tried their Nachos since they're really worth ordering..
NACHOS (4.5/5): They are served with a melted cheese dip & tomato ketchup to enhance the taste..The quantity isn't that bad! Unfortunately, the dish just got over within no time provided we were quite hungry..
MASALA PEANUTS (4.5/5): At first, we thought of the dish as normal peanuts that come along with some spicy dry masala, but we were happy to see some peanut bhel with lots of chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies & Coriander..Proved to be a classis chakna..
In starters we were suggested the Pattaya Chicken apart from which we also tried few other starters such as Black Pepper Chicken, Special Chiilly Chicken, Onion Rings & Gambretti & Pancetta Wrapped Prawns...
PATTAYA CHICKEN (3.5/5): The dish consisted of a Red Thai semi-gravy made in a coconut base..Didn't really go well with the Pitcher even though it tasted really good..
BLACK PEPPER CHICKEN (4.5/5): Chunks of Chicken tossed in a spicy semi-dry gravy, along with a few chopped garlic cloves & bell peppers..Amazingly spicy! MUST-TRY!!

ONION RINGS (5/5): When you have something in the Veggie section, that simply beats all the other chaknas, what else would one need? Crispy fried, sprinkled with some chat masala & served with a Sour Cream**, the Onion Rings taste amazing..
(**Maybe something like a Tartar Sauce or Cheese Dip or Mayonnaise Dip could do better than Sour Cream..)..MUST-TRY!
GAMBRETTI & PANCETTA WRAP (4/5): Prawns wrapped in Grilled Chicken Salami Stripes & cooked with Cheddar Cheese & a few Bell peppers here n there....Garnished with loads of Chilly Seeds for additional flavour..To be frank, I've had better than this, but nevertheless, it's a MUST-TRY!
Coming to the Main Course, without giving a second thought we ordered for a Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice & Chicken Fried Rice with Manchurian Gravy separate..
TRIPLE SCHEZWAN FRIED RICE (4.5/5): Ordered it since it is totally worth eating here..The dish served here will never disappoint you..The quantity can suffice 3 people..!
CHICKEN FRIED RICE (2/5): Very dry & lacked flavour..Good that we had ordered for Manchurian too, otherwise it would have been a waste..

Visited this place just a day before leaving for college. It is a small place located right above Cafe New York. Firstly, the ambience is the one of the best I have ever seen. We ended up spending more than we had planned. They have some offer on drinks any time of the day. The food was really good. But they did take a lot of time to serve a single sandwich even though the place wasn't that crowded. The music being played was really nice. Overall , had a really good time here.

Beautiful place. Never knew they had a kick ass pub above the cafe. Old place. Wooden furnishing. Typical posters you'd expect in an off-beat place. Decent rates. The happy hours make it worth. And one of the very few drinking places that offer good food. Service is a little slow but the staff is kind and friendly. The perfect hang out spot I've been looking for.
"Funky town", "Hotel California", "Oye Oye.." - NY Bar & Grill explodes with the oldies. Haven't heard these for a looong while now. And it fit the occasion - a reunion. My husband and his school buddies were meeting up after 10-15 years! Long after the happy hours, the happiness continued. Sipping on cocktails and mocktails, we watched the IPL on large screens, shaking a leg to the music and munching on pop-corn, wafers, etc. The highlight was the chilli cheese toast - yummy yummy. Lemon mushrooms, chilli chicken, chicken lollypops made for perfect accompaniments. There was little place for dinner so veg and non-veg lasagne made the rounds. Everyone was so happy with the experience, we did this two weekends in a row!
A 4 rating for me generally means that I would visit the place again sometime in the near future or that would be on my list if I were meeting someone in the area. So in that department NY bar n grill right above cafe New York scores!
Now it is certainly one of those places that stands out purely on it overall package ie a great place to enjoy good music and knock down a couple of beers. The service is good. The food is good too. Truly outstanding was the akuri with toast which was a standout even in the cafe New York below. Pizzas were very good too and went very well with buckets of corona, yes this place has the most amazing beer list I have seen.
In short this is a louder, airconditioned and well dressed version of cafe New York. However in cooler weather I may just prefer the laid back confines of its older sibling

Visited NY Cafe after many years. The place has changed so much. The place is small but very retro. The interiors are dark, but appealing & inviting. Music is good. Overall a good atmosphere to set the mood. Figure food was good. Chicken Chilly, Chicken Steak Kebab & Paprika Chicken with Cheese Garlic Bread which were tasty. The food quality was good and Chicken was fresh & tender. Long Island was bit harder due to rum. Cocktails are over priced. Chicken Schezwan Rice was good but was over spicy. Portions are satisfying. Staff is good & service is quick. Overall a great place. Highly recommended. Will visit again.
Wow! This place shud todally figure admist the hidden gems in mumbai. We decided to try out this place after the regular new york cafe had some waiting. Here too we were given bar stools but they were preffy comfy.
We ordered nachos popcorn a pizza and stor fried veggies. All of these dishes were amazingly good with the freshest ingredients possible.the food did take some time to get ready but most of it was totally worth the wait.

The place is at the junction of Wilson College, very happening place. The interiors are perfect and cozy ! They have long happy hours and serve one of the best Nveg dishes i've had in a bar ! i had gone here with a friend of mine before catching a train. The service was pretty fast and the attendants were very courteous ! A good visit in case some1 is in this area !

Went with a friend on a nice lazy Sunday afternoon. Ambience is very woodish like a clint Eastwood westerner and the aircon is chilly..which is a good thing. Enjoyed the beers with black pepper chicken (tasty) and fries (good quantity). Good place to spend some quiet time with friends. Service was good and staff was friendly. They have some good combo offers on happy hours...for drinks & food. Definitely deserves a repeat visits.
Dont take the bad review on here as fact. This place is an absolute JEM!! AMAZING FOOD, great ambiance, the newly renovated bar is definitely something to check out, especially on game nights, also the service is fabulous. Ok, now this is a place for drinks and letting loose, food is not a good idea. They have this clumsy smoking area too for smokers. Lively ambience post evening, the DJ sucks early evening but raises his tempo once crowd starts pouring in.The bartender is cool enough to pour in extra drimks fre of cost, RESPECT!! A great place to have a drimks or two with your friends. NO FAMILY place , I wonder why people get their families here. Overall would rate above average.

Wonderful place to chill and relax in the evening. I would rate it 5 star in terms of Good Restaurant interior, Good People, Good Food, Good Service and Best Rates. Two people can easily afford to pay around 1000 bucks for boozing and having some snacks. Food is awesome and nice ambient. Best suited for family, couple and small group of friends. Just the place where you can go on a Friday/Sat evening with your buddies and grab a drink or two. The location is a big plus to this cafe. Quite reasonably priced, this place has both AC and non AC seating areas. It gets difficult to find a seat if you visit after 8pm over the weekends. My fav side dish is Crispy chicken with peanuts along with a pitcher of beer!

The newly constructed seating area upstairs gives an authentic feel of a pub with a full fledged bar, projectors and large LEDs and a classy wooden feel. We had Chicken Wings and French fries with Cheese, both finger licking good. With live cricket, football telecast and jazzy songs played by the DJ, this place has certainly moved up notches in my hangout places in SoBo! Worth a go!!

The place was on my list for so long, I finally made a go there. But I felt a bit overhyped. Food is average compared to the prices. Music is to loud. Rest services is average

The hummus and pita platter was really tasty. The hummus was flavourful and the pita crunchy. The pizza was nice as well. This place has the vibe of a Irani restuarant on the ground floor. The first floor is looks like an English pub. It also has good offers and Mondays are Bollywood nights. The alcohol is relatively cheaper as compared to the other pubs in South Bombay.
One of the legendary cafes in the town area at grant road...... Which has 3 different ambiances located. One typical cafe style... One cosy bar style.... One musical happening place at first floor with vibes..... Has multiple options and a variety of dishes here...... I tried chicken pepper garlic really good soft and yummy.... Would rate 4/5...

Great place for a relaxed breakfast with friends and family on any day. We went on a Sunday so it was comparatively crowded.
Ambiance is nice and homely.
Service is prompt and friendly.
Food was good too. We were a group of 5-6 so ordered in the following things:
-Kheema pao- Simple and delicious
- Kheema ghotala-It was okaish. Couldn't point out a major difference between regular kheema and kheem ghotala.
- Akuri & pao: Super soft melt in the mouth akuri served on two slices of white bread. Though delicious, it wasn't enough.
- Cheese roll: They stole the heart of those who had it.
- Chicken sandwich was my personal favourite and a must have.
-Chai & lemon soda & orange juice for drinks
We have always been going there since ages and it still stays as one of our favourites. Food and service are of top class. Also don’t forget to pet the friendly doggo that comes there once in a while.

The vibe of the place is just amazing. What a platter of food. Great music, great food and great service. The food is priced considerately. For drinkers, it's a cool place. If you want to enjoy drinks and food with amazing music, this is the place to come. Had the nachos and Barbeque chicken pizza. My all time favorite is chicken crispy.
What a lovely place to have breakfast. I had Kheema Pav, Akhuri on Toast, Cheese Chilly Toast and Ginger Tea. Everything is so nicely prepared and so good in taste. I would suggest visiting this place at least once to try all those things. Highly recommended.
Lovely food and nice ambience. I love the juke box and music here. This place is ideal to sip a glass of beer while listening to Rock Music. Good Ambiance it's like you are sitting in a Irani Cafe but has Bar Included in it...The Rates for Drinks are expensive but food rates are affordable....Chicken Crispy was my favourite looked quite appetizing...
