Review Indigo Deli - Mumbai

The cafe is the perfect blend of stylish luxury ambiance and excellent contemporary western cuisines.We ordered Bombil fry, Mexican grilled chicken with salad , mashed potatoes and fresh cold pressed orange and carrot juice with ginger and mint. The meals presentation was impressive .The juice was fresh and refreshing and the meals were mouth watering. They also bake variety of their own hand made breads which were worth giving a try.The Cafe was excellent combination of cost, quality and taste.

Being Rcity is in heart of the city but it's unable to maintain its place where heart is located. Just 2 days back while coming out from the parking the place from where ascend start is horrible and this is I am watching from last 11 months. Vendors are driving and riding without any supervision of security guard in wrong direction. Rcity are earning well enough but not able to maintain it. Please guys do something for it.

Guys don't ever buy clothes from Libas store in R city mall.. one of the ridiculous and unprofessional store we have come across.. No customer respect and clothes which they are selling are worthless.. I had horrible experience with them to which they have still not rectified their mistakes and nor refunded our money. Want to give negative rating for their service .

I was made to wait outside the main gate from 10.30 am till 11 am. The security mentioning that the place does not open till 11 am. And so were many others made to wait out. However, my friend drove in and parked the car. And entered the mall without any issues before 10.30 am. And sat in the coffee shop, which did welcome him at that time.

The best part is security team, i lost my wallet in the mall and on same day i got a call from r city office for my wallet and i got it back with all the valuables as is .also they smartly cross verified my identity before handing over my wallet. I am sincerely thankful to rcity security team and special thanks to head of security Mr Sachin.�

This mall is a good place for shopping, movie and my favorite bowling the whole mall cannot be enjoyed in just a single visit.

visited this place as i was out shopping in r city. i tried the ceaser salad, it was really fresh and full of flavours. for mains i had fusilli with pesto cream and 3 smoked pepper & 3 cheese pizza.the pasta was just perfect.  pizza was delicious too but i wish i could taste the 3 cheeses distinctively

Terrible experience. If there was a “zero star” option - I may have gone for it. <br/><br/>We were not seated promptly despite the restaurant being empty. After we ordered an avocado sandwich - 15 mins later they came and said they don’t have it; and then 15 mins after that (30 mins after) they said pizza for kids wasn’t available. Terrible service. Worst experience at an Indigo ever.<br/><br/>When the food did come it wasn’t fresh. The falafel wrap smelt old, the risotto had no salt. The kids hated their food - said it lacked flavour. <br/><br/>Finally - our steak didn’t come at all. They didn’t capture the order. Right at the start when the server was taking the order, I’d asked him to use a pen and paper but he refused. And then he forgot to place the order. <br/><br/>I like Indigo in general but I am not sure if they are paying attention to this outlet. It’s the worst of Indigo.

Decent Place and Good Service staff with international taste

I have dined in multiple locations of Indigo Deli and has always left a satisfied and full customer. This was not the experience that i had in the R City Mall Branch of this franchise. Upon entering there is a weird and quite pungent smell that greets you. Since we were super hungry and did not find anything we wanted to eat at the food court we decided to just sit through the smell. We ordered tge teriyaki buff taco which is a new addition on their menu, this tasted great, my only thing is i wished the buff was cooked better so it melts in the mouth, but great pair of fresh lettuce and sour cream with the teriyaki flavor. The other thing which we ordered was the Eggs Benedict, i hyped this to my friend as when i had it last it was great, that came out to be an utter disappointment, extremely thin hollandaise with barely any flavor to it, it was not seasoned well, so all we could taste was the sweet brioche.

Food tasted great. They even gave us free bread at the start☺.. Nice ambience... Staff was courteous.

This place is just wonderful. Nice location and nice ambience - very spacious - not cramped up. Very well lit and a happy place. The captains here are very courteous and co-operative.

Had a quick dinner here yesterday and was disappointed to see the restaurant having been apparently downgraded!<br/>We missed the bread basket, and were offered only butter with no sides. The server did not seem knowledgeable about drinks. One of the salad dishes came on a clumsy heavy slab of granite. The food menu seemed very restricted, from what it once used to be.<br/>Pretty let down overall, to see Indigo Deli fall.

The staff was unresponsive. The order took forever. One of the pizzas was fine, the other one unappetising. The sitting we had was kind of worn out. Overall dining experience was below average. This branch not keeping up to the name at all.<br/><br/>

Unappetizing food, lax and cavalier waiters/manager. Pizzas tasted more like papad than anything. Took ages to come, no tissues at table and no proper care given. They didn't even care enough to offer us water. Helped ourselves with water and tissues from the serving counter. Un-indigo ish! Spoiling the brand. Disappointed.

The service was terrible and the food was sub-par. We weren’t even served water, the thai pizza felt stale and weird. The waiters were uninterested in serving us and took forever to even attend our table. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Very poor service and the food quality is also not great. Only two tables were occupied when we went and still they took 30-35 minutes to serve fries and also gave us the wrong bill at the end. Chicken pizza was so bad and overpriced. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Its a pretty nice place. Tried their Spiced cottage cheese steak , it was not great for the price they charge. Mr. Husband tried Deli roast chicken and he liked it. So I believe may be its good for non vegetarians than vegetarians. You do not really have too many options . Service wise i felt i would rate them 2* . Would hope the ppl serve food with a smiling face at least don’t know why they all seem to be having an angry face!! Not too worth for the price we pay!

A fan of Indigo for several years. It is a go to place for times you just want reliable food. So a visit to the R-city Mall branch came as a really sour experience. Before i write about what went wrong, I admit upfront that they did not charge for the poorly presented dish. Thid keeps the faith in the brand.<br/>Ordered their tried and trusted Eggs Florentine. The eggs were poached to hard boiled eggs. The egg white was rubber-like. The yolk was hard set and cold. There was no hollandaise on it at all; the highlight of the dish was missing. The entire preparation was dry. The potato hash was wilted, soggy like it was made a while ago.<br/>Feels bad that you count on a meal to be good and are disappointed. They offered to replace it, but enough time was already spent waiting for the dish to arrive in the first place. Hope they maintain their reputation for good standardised food across various branches.

Had gone for lunch on Sunday with my mother. Realised should never go there on Sunday. Rather I do not think I have the strength to go to indigo deli ever again at ghatkopar. Not only has the quality of food deteriorated, which I am truly sad about but the experience was just painful. A whole group of unfortunate children were left running around while their parents refused to pay heed to the staff's request to keep their children with them. The problem became that the staff was unable to understand the irritation other people in the restaurant could feel at being denied a peaceful meal. It felt bad that the staff and the manager were rudely spoke to by a bunch of baboons who should not have been parents in the first place but there are certain policies as laid out by the restaurant, atleast I hope there are. Coz as things go it would be impossible to drag me to a restaurant that I previously went to for a great meal

Well this has been my favourite restaurant UNTILL today - Sunday - the service has been pretty slow and we literally had to call guys to please pay attention and serve condiments etc etc .. now one more shocking part was finding a MOUSE in this FINE dining restaurant was a HUGE SHOCK ! MY ENTIRE FOCUS SHIFTED ! I have loved the food always ! I wouldn't blame the staff totally too since the source was somewhere in the mall , but whatever it be, NOT acceptable guys !

We visited the restaurant recently for Sunday lunch. The place was crowded as compared to regular days. It seemed that the management was struggling with the pressure. There were no mocktails or fresh juices as they told us that they are going for a revamp. We ordered cottage cheese steak and spinach pizza. Spinach pizza came in 10 mins (even though they had told us it will take 20-25 mins) but to our surprise it was completely cold. It didn't feel fresh to us and we ended up cancelling the order. Overall a disappointing experience even though we are regular at Indigo here and Powai. The standards seem to have fallen drastically of late.

I love indigo delicatessen as a restaurant chain. I’ve been to other one’s in the city and they are great. The ghatkopar one is a little underwhelming.

I have come here a couple of times and each time I have had pizza... And I must say it is amazing. It is sorta authentic with minimal to no masala. So, masala and chatpata lovers might not like it.

Very sad menu compared to rest of thr indigo. I'm surprised it's still surviving... Can't compare it to the other indigo's. The manager and staff did not batt an eyelid once I complained about the food and service and asked them to get the bill without the service charge.

We are regulars at Indigo and this place never disappoints in terms of food. The service could definitely improve though.<br/>My favourite dishes were the gunpowder potato, Chicken steak and the Cheesecake. The pasta dishes here are also generally very yummy. It's a must visit for people who love Continental food!<br/>

Several things went wrong with this. <br/>Batter of the Fish from the fish and chips was undercooked. <br/>Service was painfully slow. There was a decent crowd but it took 3 reminders and 10+ minutes to get Tabasco. <br/>A new menu was launched today but the billing software was not updated. I happened to check the bill and sure enough was overcharged. The manager promptly resolved the discrepancy but I would not expect something like this to happen in the first place. <br/> The only good part was a perfect cook on the filet. Took a while to get a steak knife though.

This was the first visit. The ambience is great. The service was slow. But the food was great. Deli Roast chicken tasted better than Harrisa grilled chicken. Peach ice Tea was nice. Would visit this place again for sure.

Good food with a pathetic service aptly describes this place.<br/>Never in the past 3 times that I have visited this place have I seen any improvement in their service level.<br/>Be it getting water or the menu, their is always a huge delay, more than that getting a staff to even attend you becomes a challenge.<br/>Keeping this aside, the staff has always been polite and the food has been good but they never seem to be keen on improving the service level.

The overall dining experience has never been consistent. Not happy with service too, had to repeatedly call for servers inspite of the place being empty. Menu needs to improve with not just more choices but more relevant dishes.

This was my worst Experience till date.i have been to other outlets like and have been satisfied with food quality and taste.On a weekday,where there was no one.though I asked them to suggest me what the chefs special ( if any), according to my previous experience ordered pasta and a veg pizza .pizza was cold thoh v were hungry we had it and there was no sign of cheese or any veggies...u pay 800 for some papad with little cheese spread and some Basil's..no taste we had add all spices and consume and to top it the pasta was also cold and sad with again no veggies or cheese it .that was the time lost my mind and complained that this was enough, are they out of stock for veggies n cheese and y so cold food was it prepared earlier n kept..and refused to eat...then they replaced with new preparation which was better than earlier...that means they knw how to cook they purposefully are negligent.<br/>May b it's chain of restaurant if 1 does do well it doesn't matter to them.<br/>Now I knw y no one goes to r city indigo.<br/>Be careful guys don't spend so much on such food.

I have been a lover of Indigo food and a frequent visitor of the Bandra outlet. I was in R City mall and thought of having a meal there. I am highly disappointed. It was my bday lunch first of all. The food was beyond delay inspite of the restaurant being absolutely empty. And secondly in one of the dishes served to us , the chicken was raw. This dish was served thrice after being specific to be made boneless and finally after 2 changes when the waiter gets the dish, the chicken was uncooked with a strong smell of raw chicken. <br/>I seriously can’t believe this. To top it up, the manager or any other staff did not have the courtesy to walk upto the table to apologise ..<br/>Any other day I wouldn’t have cared to put a review. It was my bday lunch. Damn disappointed and surely not coming again.

The food was good but the service was really really slow on a Sunday evening. Ordered the Harissa grilled chicken - great presentation and it tasted fantastic as well. We wished that the outer marinade had seeped into the center of the meat.<br/><br/>We also ordered a pizza - creamed spinach, roasted mushroom and scarmoza. The pizza was amazing, actually wafer thin crispy crunch with a generous and delicious amount of toppings. Will be going back to try the green burger and pork ribs.

Indigo is an high end continental restaurant.They are know for their water thin crust pizza and other side their lovely dishes.<br/>The Bread loaf are been served is complimentary.The salad are lovely .<br/>The pumpkins soup is light not too creamy.<br/>They make ice cream in chocolate and alcohol fusion which called as home made ice cream 😊The pizza are Awesome 😊Even cheese cake are lovely m😊❤️ Totally I love this place 😊

Fine dine or comfort food, Indigo Deli is always my first choice. This place has something about it's ambience that gets me back to it, at least once every month (sometimes more). I have tried several items on their menu, sad that I couldn't upload the pics 😐. This time I didn't miss the opportunity- batter fried fish n chips with a glass of white wine.. Sunday lunch done well I'd say😉

I have generally had an acceptable experience at this place, but with a declining trend. The last visit was suboptimal. Highlights:<br/>1. We were hanging out at the entrance for quite a while without anyone assigning a table to us. This was when the place was 30% occupied. <br/>2. The table they assigned to us was not cleaned and was sticky. <br/>3. The servers were not really interested in attending to us. We also saw an unclean adjoining table, which was left that way throughout our presence there. <br/>4. They only had one brand of beer.<br/><br/>The food was OK, but nothing to write home about.

Had BLT Sandwich and Pasta. The bread for the sandwich was too hard. The pasta was okay. Also had blueberry cheesecake which was also okay. Found it all average. Service could be a better. We asked for the bill and I think our server just forgot? After 10 minutes we had to ask again.

From plating to quality to taste everything was remarkable.<br/><br/>We ordered eggless pancakes and British railway cutlet and both dishes were very good. The place was very calm where you can go and relax. So when tired of shopping just step into this place and get your hands on some tasty snacks.<br/>Rating -4.5/5

You guys are nowhere near the Hygiene standard that is expected from a place of your price band.

The food and ambience is certainly good. Liked the decor. However, despite all that, I do not feel the prices are justified. So, wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for budget rrstro or value for money. But if you have money to spare, should give it a try once.

The food was bad ...period .Everything was made really sweet and simply dumped on the plate except for the garlic bread with cheese and penne pasta rest was difficult to swallow down ..The barbeque pizza ,Texas barbeque prawns and Bombay chicken wings were simply terrible .

Visited this place today. Tried the Spicy Paneer Roll which was absolutely mind blowing. This was definitely worth trying. Then for dessert we got the chocolate mousse which was not that great. It was very bitter.

I had gone with a few friends for lunch here...it has a good ambience...not many choices for vegetarians..we ordered nachos, which was good, but the quantity was too less for the price...then we had a margherita pizza.. personally im not a fan of wafer crust, thin crust is fine, but the pizza crust here was way too thin.. equivalent to a papad...its tasty, but you dont feel you ate a pizza...we had white sauce pasta..which was absolutely great...and we also had the roasted vegetable mushroom sandwich which was also damn good...overall a good fine fining experience, however its a bit costly...

Well I went in seeing the reviews and Honestly I wasn't impressed much. I am giving a rating if 3 star rating only because they had welcome breads and fairly sweet staff. We ordered a margherita pizza, classic BLT and lemon soda.<br/>Now classic BLT was okayish and wasn't worth the 645 they charged for it. Very few places get BLT wrong and this is one of those places. It was too plain and not very friendly to the taste buds. The Margherita was the worst I have had in a long long time. The base felt more like an Indian phulka and the toppings were cheese heavy and not evenly balanced. We didn't even complete it and infact didn't bother to pack the rest since it wasn't worthy enough. I don't know if it was an off day for them but I genuinely disliked this place. Great dinner at Indigo. Started with Asparagus Phyllo Rolls , crisp on the outside , tender on the inside, paired with nice red wine. Followed by pork ribs in barbecue sauce. Great meal to kick off the weekend after shopping.

Not that good for desserts. The cost does not get the dessert and service it should give. Creme brulee was not up to the mark and the brownie vs cheesecake was too rich and didn't seem to be fresh.

Very nice place with great food. Their breads are amazing. But we had to ask for a refill as they kept a very small loaf for 4 people. Th menu is interesting and almost everything is tasty. It is not great for the pocket though.

I visited this place for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend. The place was empty but inspite of that we had a lovely experience.<br/>We have vegetarian food.<br/>For drinks we had a mocktail - Island Breeze - it was like a blue lagoon drink with an after taste of lychee that gives you the sweetness. I enjoyed the drink.<br/>For starters- the mac and cheese poppers with truffle oil. - Although I was skeptical about the taste the truffle oil would bring to the dish, it was really good and hot and gooey.<br/>For mains - their signature thin crust pizza. We had the pesto with mozerella and it did not disappoint. The taste was amazing and super crispy, thin and hot.<br/>Lastly dessert - chocolate mud cake - which i was waiting for. It was soft and smooth and its more on the bitter side which is balanced off with the sweet cream severed on the side.<br/>After waiting for long to visit this place, the experience was good, the staff was promopt, the service was quick and i is pocket friendly considering there is Zomato gold plus you can pay 20% of your bill till 300 with dineout earnings. So thats a bonus!<br/>Will definitely be back for more!!

The ambience is awesome and the food is very tasty. Only thing that comes in the way is the cost. A simple burger costs around 750 bucks which is way too costly.

After an afternoon of retail therapy, I visited Indigo Deli with family with high expectations. After all, this is one of my favourite restaurant chains, both due to the food and ambience.<br/><br/>We ordered garlic bread with cheese, baked Mac and Cheese and the Aromatic Grilled Chicken.<br/><br/>The Mac and Cheese and Garlic Bread were average as per the usual standards set by Indigo.<br/><br/>However, the real let down was the chicken. As per the menu, it was supposed to be marinated with aromatic spices and served with Parmesan mash.<br/>The dish served turned out to be bland pieces of grilled chicken served with potato mash (minus the Parmesan) and Cheese sauce on the top.<br/><br/>Most of the coffees on the menu weren’t available, with only 2 out of the 10 single origin coffees stocked.<br/><br/>Overall it was a let down, and not at all upto the mark.

We loved the coffee and atmosphere here. Comfortable semicircular seating booths add to your experience.<br/><br/>This can be recommended for any family dinner.

Really a bit surprised why the rating of this place is 3.9 , as it should be really more... The quality and quantity of food is really good of this outlet... The service is really great, too friendly staff... Today enjoyed the lunch at this place , Team Indigo Rocks...

Indigo Deli as everyone knows it, is one of the most famous restaurants for some really good continental food. I dropped in here on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks with a friend, Munched on some potato wedges and bought a bucket of beer. Their beer is priced pretty economically if you buy them by the bucket.<br/><br/>I wanted to order their boozy pitchers in drinks but as my partner wasn't 25, they wouldn't serve alcohol to her. Keep that in mind if you want to come here for drinks.<br/><br/>In mains I had a grilled chicken in white sauce which was absolutely amazing. I just wished it was boneless though. We also ordered the baked Mac and cheese which was really good and extremely cheesy.<br/><br/>Overall, four beers, some potato wedges and two mains, good for two people costed me about 1800 all inclusive for two people. It was reasonable since this was with Zomato gold.<br/><br/>Definitely worth a try for a great fine dine experience!

A fine dine restaurant with great ambience.. Food was delicious.. Had a great time.. They have an extensive menu and its filled with exquisite options.. Happy exploring

The ambience is nice and the food is probably just decent. We loved the cannelloni, but the lobster salad had just a few things slivers of lobster hidden in the depths. It was good to go once but we would prefer another place the next time.

One of the worst places to be in Rcity, ambience is average, food  has no taste, service is good <br/>here we ordered oglio olio spaggheti pasta which was one of the worst spaggheti pasta i ever had, it was so oily we jst couldnt have it, then we ordered thin crust pizza with loaded cheeze which was good in taste but just not worth the money we paid. the place is highly over rated. the two stars are only for the pizza. i would recommend never visit this outlet

Always been a fan of the Indigo franchise, and the outlet at R city lives up to the expectations. Been here multiple times for various meals, and have always been impressed by the food and the service. 1+1 on Zomato increases the attractiveness. Particularly a fan of the iced coffee.

One time visit. It tries to show itself like a finey place but the service and quality of majority of food is just average. I tried it cos many people talked about it, but will not recommend it to anyone.

If you are looking for an authentic taste, this is the perfect place for you. A bit over priced but still satisfying if you order the right dish. Staff is friendly and service is great.

Had heard alot about this place from m y frnds and colleagues and hence last night thought of trying this place along with frnds for dinner... It was quite empty as only 2 tables were occupied... We were given a table whch was quite sticky, when asked to clean the table, we were said that it's cz of the polish of the tables. We were like ok and ordered for beverages and appetizers. We had ordered for Parmesan crust chicken skewers, Texas barbeque prawns, old monk chicken wings and curried chicken tikka along with mocktails.. We received the first 2 dishes which were Parmesan crust chicken skewers, Texas barbeque prawns.<br/><br/>*While we were having Texas barbeque prawns one of my friend got a big piece of glass in his mouth. Luckily he didn't chew on it or bite it thinking it could be the scales of the prawns*. When asked the staff to call the manager , he gets us a senior staff. When insisted to call the manager it took him nearly 10 mins. When we explained the whole thing to the manager, he said I'll have to check with my chef... The took another 15 mins to call the chef... It gave a vibe that they were least interested in what has happened.. When the chef came in along with the manager he just apologized and said he will get the portion changed.. It just showed how much the value their customers.. When we questioned that there could have been smaller glass pieces also in the food which we might have not noticed and might have swallowed they didnt have an answer. We just have to walk out of the restaurant.<br/><br/>P.S: I have added the pictures of the particular dish in which we found the glass piece

One of the best desserts in town...had cheese cake and mud cake at indigo outlet at rcity mall. Indigo is one of our favourite go to restaurants, when other options fail...superb service, great presentation and Zomato gold to top it up. Absolutely fantastic

Good food but chef forgets to add the most revered truffle sauce! waiters not apologetic and on the defensive. if u are not careful about that humble portion of truffle sauce in your choice of food, well aapka ghata usska faida!!<br/><br/>waiters behave as if they are underpaid and doing a favour waiting your table and this includes the extensive hand exercise that goes into waving at your waiter to get him to wait at your table!!<br/><br/>bread basket seems to be a complementary desert since if you dont continue to insist on it to be delivered before your ordered food reaches you!<br/><br/>and after all that they would charge a 10pct service charge for their underpaid waiters!!

This place is highly recommended for english breakfast and wafer crust pizza. This is located in a mall,but the interior is totally calm and well decorated. Try their desserts,it is amazing.

Both the drinks were very unique in design and had just the right amount of alcohol. However the bitter after taste of fruits in Citrus Sangria was a slight turn off.<br/><br/>We then called for our all-time favourite, BBQ Chicken Nachos with Cheese. It was loaded with sweet chunks of chicken marinated in BBQ sauce and a creamy cheese with crispy nachos finding its way through your spoon. Another of our favourite hangouts. Our fav is the orange and fennel mojito and the crispy thin water like pizzas. The kid loves his fish n chips ! Breakfast spread is refreshing too!

Good food. Good interiors. Spacious sitting arrangements. We liked their beef burger & pork chops and ordered one fresh lime & a raspberry iced tea which were tasty. For desserts we ordered a mud cake which was nice but the apple pie disappointed me a lot. It was too dry. Needs a lot of improvement in that definitely.

First thing I noticed is big open kitchen. The ambience is nice and you can see chefs preparing your food. Some of the dishes that we ordered were pathetic and some were really top notch. We ordered paper thin pizza and it was really bad.I really liked Bombay chicken wings and wasabi prawns. We tried 2 seafood starters and both were good; wasabi prawns and spicy rawas. The mango sauce with the rawas was a brilliant combination. All that was served was well presented. Service was bit slow though
