Really great experience!! Very attentive staff which provided the food quickly. The price is extremely budget friendly. The business has been around since 1987 and has a rich history. This place is a must visit for foodies!!

The best place for chinese dishes still in western suburbs chicken lollypop wanton still superb fried rice is next level very fast n quick service was crowded on weekend Went after a long time to dine food was not as expected so was service but the sechzwan sauce is still same after soo many years loved it bit cramped up seating in AC prawns was not fresh rest all ok

Been eating at this joint since I was a kid. My all time favourite chilly chicken recipe is here. Absolute bomb you won't ever eat something like this ever.

Let me be honest. The extra star is for nostalgic value. We were regulars as youngsters since it opened in 1987. It was the only joint we frequented for partying when it was more of a Shack and Jerome Uncle ( may his soul RIP) used to know us personally. They were the one's who introduced us and many in the Suburbs to the Indianised Chinese food. Helped us pronounce things like Schezwan. And changed us from having भात to Fried Rice😀. Lollipops were available in grocery stores before Uncle bought us Drums of Heaven. The quality and quantity for us who were hardly earning was a boon and it contniues till date. However one who has grown up eating here, could now make the difference in the preparation. It's still way better than any other regular Chinese joints but found it to be over crispy and too oily now. However am sure there are many who will not have the same feelings since it would still feel delicious to them. So kudos to them for growing from a tiny shack carrying 4 or 5 tables at one time to a large one storied air conditioning restaurant now. Hope the legacy continues!

Had been to this place with my family after very long time.. They have now shifted to new location.. Food was delicious and still it's same as the old one. Paneer Manchurian, Singapore Rice and Manchow Soup are must try items.. Service was super fast.. Highly recommend this place to enjoy with your family and friends..

The place is a legend for all Chinese enthusiasts who have for 3.5 decades enjoyed their food ,service and amazing piping hot food with the taste and service being just the same over so many years. The owners are super sports enthusiast people, and the zeal to be the same in service has been impressive.

Great place in Malad for Chinese lovers, must try their lollypop and fried rice with different gravy options. It's a must visit place you may find it a little crowded during weekends and nights but it's worth waiting..

Had seen many outlets of Uncles Kitchen and finally dined at Sunder Nagar Orlem Branch. Ordered Manchow Soup, Mushroom Crispy Starter and Schezwan Noodles Rice and Veg Manchurian Gravy. Loved the preparations and the portions were decent for two people. The Mushroom Crispy Starter was well marinated though the coating batter would or can be made more tasty. It was crispy and I love mushrooms anyway! You can try this atypical starter. Would Love to try their Non Veg delicacies next time. Manchurian Gravy was asusual well prepared and The Schezwan Noodles Rice was tasty but little oily. This didnt matter much but oil can be reduced. Overall loved the ambience, courteous staff and quick service and Good Covid Appropriate Behaviors right from the entrance and premises. Uncles Kitchen is a 34yr old Brand!

It's amazing, though I just went for takeaway so can't tell about the atmosphere, but the food is good, and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience!

We ordered all veg food and restaurant sent chicken spring rolls instead of veg spring roll. Didn’t expected this careless behaviour from one of the legendary outlet. We have been a regular customer. But getting non vegetarian food delivered during holy time of pitru paksh doesn’t go well. No one can play with someone’s personal beliefs. Zomato offering price compensation doesn’t level width this mistake of sending non vegetarian food instead of vegetarian.

I’ve ordered chicken lollipop a million times from this place. Even though the peices lack the amount of meat in it, but the tastes kinda does justice to it. Uncles kitchen is reasonable and plus they do have good quantity in them. No regrets till date.

Being a Mumbaikar I've been more inclined towards trying the Desi version of Chinese food rather than going for the authentic one and this place serves the purpose. It has been in business since like more than 2 decades and they know their food.<br/>A big fan of their fish fingers and chicken burnt garlic fried rice. They are great with almost everything out of the vast menu they offer.<br/>Not very cheap but affordable.<br/>The restaurant has the whole Chindian vibe to it.<br/>Great place !

Money wise fits the medium category of rates but taste wise I see quite some room for improvement, I heard it was famous for chinese food but didnt quite feel that way, although do keep in mind that it was during lockdown and hence they may not have their best staff available.

The Food was very disappointing. The Fish chilly was having rotten smell. Also, the Mixed Singapore fried rice was not upto the mark.<br/>The outlet should not take things for granted.<br/>I wasn't expecting this from them.

This is a must visit place to be when in Subarban Mumbai. Visited it after 20 years but the taste and the quality of food is just top class. The place has now an AC and non AC sitting area but the food can be enjoyed sitting anywhere. Affordability and quick service made them cater to larger audiences in the past.Now the venue is spacious and has a great waiting area. Also be careful to land up by prior bookings...coz u should be lucky to get a table even on weekdays

Uncle's kitchen has been a renowned place for over 20 years now. I was impressed with the quality of food they still serve. 1 star less for the dip sauce was too watery to my liking. Else the chicken lollipops r lip smacking.

Really great Chinese food, perfect proportion of ingredients. Perfect to hit the right spot. I ordered Chicken Lollipop, Chicken American Chopsuey and Chicken Fried Wantons. The food overall was good but i loved the Wantons the most, the mince filling was to die for. Thank you for serving me such a wonderful meal.

Amazing place. Have been going to uncle's kitchen since I was a kid. If you want Indian Chinese this is the place to go in all of Mumbai. My cousins' from out of town also want to go there in every visit. Never have we been disappointed. Be careful on Friday and Saturday evenings as there could be a huge line. Go early to avoid the wait. Ron Dsouza keep up the good job. 👍🏻

Uncles Kitchen is a very reasonable and a pocket friendly place for eating. The chicken dishes are really good! I remember visiting this place for dinner and trying the Chicken Mixed hot Chilly Noodles! That dish is an absolute must try!

Chinese has been my late night food savier..when there's nothing cooked I always prefer Chinese or Thai food as its easily available and are cheaper.<br/><br/>I visited Uncle's Kitchen which is also known as oldest chinese restaurant in my residence.<br/>I ordered Hot & Sour clear soup, Crispy chicken lollipops, Chicken/Egg fried rice.<br/>The chinese flavours were kicking in..just loved the food ..lollipops were way crispier n crunchy from outside and juicy and soft from inside.<br/>Will visit this place again as i love Chinese food :)<br/>

Uncle's Kitchen is a legendary restaurant in the suburbs well known for their Chinese fare. For me this place has an emotional attachment. I remember as a kid in the 90's I would visit Malad to spend the summer with my cousin's and every evening we would line up outside Uncles to relish their soup.<br/><br/>My memory of the place then located at Mith Chowki, was of just about 4 small tables and a queue of people waiting to get in. From then to today the restaurant has expanded by leaps and bounds but fortunately the taste of the soup has remained constant. I have tried a lot of different dishes here but this review is just for the soup.<br/><br/>Do try their sweet corn chicken soup. You will surely enjoy it. Visited Uncle's kitchen after nearly 20 years...it used to be our regular place for dinner..after party..late night dunner or take away..after marriage it became a regular haunt..but after moving to Thane our visits became rare..today as we were passing through Malad thought of dropping in....the link cation has changed from Mith chowkie..but we had no trouble in finding the location...<br/>We ordered a chicken manchow soup and chicken lollipop ..a chicken Schezwan gravy ,chicken fried rice and Chicken rice noodle mix..<br/>We only had the soup and chicken lollipop at the restaurant and the rest was takeaway..<br/>The soup tasted the same at the restaurant and the take away...but the take away lollipop was smaller and less crispy..The fried rice and ric e noodle mix was als okayish..All Marks for Nostalgia.,...

Good taste. I usually order food from here. Specialty of them is Chinese food. Great taste and very reasonable price. Free home delivery is also available. Food comes really early you don't need to wait much. Locals usually go here to hangout with friends. Best and famous shop for Chinese in Malad. No parking for cars in front of this branch. But adjust your vehicle somewhere to enjoy the taste of food.

Always been going to this place since my childhood. Menu is minimal yet tasty.<br/>Had their Veg wonton soup which was bland.<br/>Burnt Chilli Hakka noodles was just too awesome, wok tossed in correct amount of oil.<br/>Also their Veg Pot rice was awesome.
