Iv visited MOC, India quite a few times and I must say the freshness of the crabs are impeccable. No doubts about the quality. The ambience is awesome too and you can always find top corporate honchos, who's who of the society and also a very famous guitarist Kiran Roy who was kind enough to talk to me who seemed like a regular here. So I always had a very good and positive experience here. Price is definitely on the higher side and prawns pot is my favourite apart from chilly garlic crab.
Went to this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I personally don't like crab, wife and son love it and insisted. We ordered a starter of black prawns in chilly sauce and some oysters. Prawn was lovely. They ordered the chilly garlic crab and devoured it wholeheartedly. I tried some too, and it was just amazingly well prepared. Not like the usual butter garlic one you find at other seafood joints. I had a bit more conservative Seer fish Teriyaki. It was prepared superbly well. For dessert, we had the cocoa pod mousse. All in all, excellent preparation and great taste. The only caveat, it is exorbitantly priced! for three of us, it came to 9800!! More than even Taj :D

I'm a vegetarian..yes..but I visited ministry of crabs to celebrate their 1 year and try out a chef's special menu. This place not only serves amazing crab but also some delicious Vegetarian food.
This new menu had both .. Vegetarian and non Vegetarian. Also a fantastic cocktail menu curated by 11 top mixologists. Not to be missed.
It was a 4 course meal.. started with a delicious avocado tomato salad. Creamy perfect ripe avocados with juicy tomatoes. So good.
Next came in the appetizer. Crispy salt and pepper fried Vegetables. They were yummy. Truly irresistible.
The mains were bomb let me tell you. The morning glory stirfry was garlicky and delicious. One of my favorite.
The mushroom Goan curry was truly irresistible..served with sticky rice. Loved the curry flavors. Definitely order it if you're a Vegetarian.
For dessert we had a chocolate mousse cacao bean with a surprise center and chilli Coco almond gravel. It was excellent.
The cocktails were excellent. Tried a few and they are definitely a must have.
For crab lovers ..you can try their chilli garlic crab. My friend loved it.

A Fine Dining Restaurant ,Fresh Seafood ,Expensive !
It's a huge place located in Khar. Few tables were occupied when two of us had visited on a weekday around 8 30 pm.
Drinks - Bellini Chandon Brut - INR 645 per glass . Excellent .
Crab : They did not have the smaller crabs ,so we opted for Kilo Crab in Chilli Garlic which cost us approx INR 6000. It was fresh but a bit too oily for my liking so would rate it very good .Crab did take some time ,other dishes were served faster .
( I wanted to try the pepper crab as well, but 2 kilo crabs would have been too much. Maybe they could introduce the option of doing the kilo and bigger crabs two ways)
Prawns were not available (surprising for a seafood restaurant) . Other dishes we ordered :
Baked Crab -INR 675.- very good
Prawns Crackers- INR 155-- very good
Devilled Eggs-INR 155- excellent.
Oyster Chicken- INR 345- excellent
Wok Tossed Greens- INR 575-excellent.
Sri Lankan Bread - average .
Being a fine dining ,the starters portion is small .
Nice place but overpriced in my opinion .

Incredible dining experience. The decor and vibe in this place is elegant but not overly posh--which is good because you need to wear a bib while eating your crab! All the food was delicious and the servers were on point all night. It's a bit spendy but great for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself.

If you're in Mumbai for a visit make this place a must-stop for the best crabs and seafood dinner!! The staff is first of all very well trained and can follow my orders. We first had two rounds of oysters, very fresh and served in a very cool concept outside its shell, they used shot glasses and then you mix your sauces in there and then shoot it!! They even offer vodka to shoot it with each oyster. We also order the garlic chili shrimps were really good!! The garlic bread was flat, and needs major improvements. For the main dish, I had the Garlic Chili Crab you choose the size of the crab by weight so I ordered medium which very beautiful sweet and tender!! The sauce it came in was to die for!! Spicey garlicky goodness!!🤤🤤 I'm just drooling thinking about this!! We also ordered Japanese garlic fried rice which was perfect to soak up the sauce. For vegetables we had the stir-fried vegetables which were also very good. To finish off this amazing dinner i had the Coconut creme Brule Over all I look forward to going back when I visit Mumbai.
We ordered XL garlic chilli crab with kade bread and it was delicious. Also had spicy grilled prawns, it was average. Ambience is calm and pleasant.

Indeed an immersive dining experience. Surprisingly a heaven for vegetarians as well. The options are limited but what they have is truly lip smacking. The kunkun garlic is something every one must try. The butter chilli tofu is the best tofu I've had in my life! It's cooked to perfection and is so addictive. The portion size is obviously less and most dishes would serve only one person. My friends had crab and prawns, they enjoyed that as well. But they still admitted my tofu was the best. So you geddit,you have to try the tofu there!
The desert, story of cacao, is their signature dish and any chocolate lover should try it. Its layered so beautifully and is easy on people who aren't that much of a dessert hogger.
Needless to say staff are well trained, always at you service, pleasant and kind. Rates might not fit everyone's budget but would definitely recommend it of the whole experience here! Cheers!

Went to MoC for my anniversary and my wife was gushing after the dinner, that's the main review. :-). The service was good but for a little mixup, but the food made up for it. The place is classy with all the woodwork and high ceiling. It's a must try if you like crabs.
Had a beautiful time with friends while visiting this very special restaurant that specialises in sea food. Surprisingly there was limited selection of veg which was equally good too. The sea food dishes like the avocado crab salad, prawn curry were super tasty & are highly recommended.
