Awesome seafood and pocket friendly as well. We tried bombay duck (bombil) fry, surmai fry and prawns curry with rice. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Great place for friends and family. We went there for lunch..Sea food is too good. Bombil fry and crab lollipop are too tasty. Ambience is good. Service is quick and friendly staff. Chicken dishes are also good. They provide Thali too. Mocktails and ice cream varieties are good. Overall a good place to visit. Valet parking is available.

Best seafood and amazing service! The cocktails and mocktails are delicious as well. A place where you can take your family and enjoy a good meal

Located approx 1km from Dindoshi bus depot this is the perfect destination if you are looking for some authentic seafood - nonveg cuisines. There are two restaurants, first one is 0.5km from Dindoshi depot while this one is on the same route and another 0.5km ahead from the 1st one. We usually visit this outlet. They serve the best of seafood and Thalis at considerably reasonable price. I have been to dadar gomantak multiple times and if you want to experience similar experience in western suburbs with less hassle and less waiting time this is the place to visit. They have normal as well as AC seating options. The unique thing about seating is both these rooms are divided by wall which is made up of a huge fish tank. This elevates the overall dining experience. Even though this is Restaurant plus bar it makes for a decent family dining experience. They do have some waiting time during weekends, however its definitely worth the wait. We had ordered Soup, Prawns Koliwada, Bombil fry, Ravas thali and Surmai thali. They have option of Bhakari, Roti or Vade. You would get 4 decent sized vade in one thali. The entire bill made it around ~2200 The staff is super friendly and helpful and further help have a better dining experience. Food : 5/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Staff : 5/5 Price : 4.5/5

Great quality food. Ordered a few things on the menu. 1 of the items was not what I ordered. Not a big fan of their tawa fried fishes. Rava fried fish is amazing. Bombil fry, prawns koliwada and Surmai hari Mitch are a must try.

Ratnagiri restaurant is located near the Riddhi Gardens area at a junction of Film City road. Must try there Thalis - it's Authentic Maharashtrian one. They also serve alcohols and their specialty in food is fish dishes and the Thalis. Fast service, friendly staff & pocket friendly menu. Decent indoor air conditioner seating arrangement. Recommended šŸ‘šŸ»

~ R A T N A G I R I ~ Located on the junction of the cross roads right opposite to the Goregaon Film City gates, just the name of this restaurant is enough for your mouth to start salivating and your mind to go crazy with the anticipation of seafood which are absolutely delicious on taste and aromatic with absolute value for money and easy on pocket rates, this hotel in the best seafood joint you can find in this area after finishing your Film City Tour, however the best things you can order here are as below : 1. Bombil Fry - 5 stars, Nailed it! 2. Chicken Sukka - Scrumptous - 5 stars 3. Soul Kadi - Perfectly sour 4. Jowri Chi Bhakri - Soft and fulfilling Further, dont miss out on checking their menu for rice dishes like Biryani or Kolambi Bhat, as I am surr they are delicaciously gorgeous too, you will just go on and on eating their delicacies just like you have been reading this review for the last 2 minutes without a full stop... No full stop review.. No full stop to exploring food in this endless journey.. To be continued... This is called breathless review...

Good: The fish thali, prawns fry must try tasty. Fast service. Didnt like: crab lolipop not available and chicken thali too salty.

This restaurant is my go to place for malwani food. One dish that I order every time I go there is Bombay duck fry! I think I have tried most of the items in the menu! My favourite is prawn and chicken thali. Tysrya sukka, prawn sukka and spl chicken leg masala with rice bhakri!! Go try it!!!

Very nice food, ambiance, service Good place to visit who loves non vegetarian especially authentic Malavni and coastal food with Family. Rates are bit high but looks nothing in front of taste. One can have drinks as well rates are more then double then wineshop rate. They have two restaurants in this locality. Itā€™s a favourite place of many celebrities mostly from Marathi film and serials.

Ratnagiri Family Restaurant gave us a amazing experience. The food is just toooo good. I really loved their Prawn Thali and Bombil fry .The staff were so kind and understanding , nice ambiance.

Ratnagiri is a place where all marathi stars can be spotted . Its a place people love to go to when it comes to fish. It provides a vast variety of fishes n prawns . My favorite is the pomfret.

Ordered chicken lollipop and chicken biryani.

6 pieces was there in lollipop. One of the tasty lollipop Iā€™ve every had. And the chutney was big hit.

Chicken biryani was tasty too. But the chicken was bit uncooked. Quantity was superb.

Packaging was good. Delivery was quick.
Overall a good experience.

Looking for some authentic malwani seafood? Ratnagiri offers one of the finest malawani seafood dishes. We tried their prawns rava fry and it was absolutely amazing. The prawns were fresh, well fried and juicy and the batter was absolutely delicious. It was served with a green chutney and some thecha pickle which just added to the flavor. We also tried their surmai tava fry. The surmai piece was quite filling and the Masala was spicy and delicious.

Price:ā‚¹ 250-400

This one is the new improved fancy version of the good ol' Ratnagiri. And once u enter u get to see how fancy it is, with a bar that's done up like any happening pub of andheri. Food is as good as always, but over priced, especially if u r habituated with the pricing of the original restaurant. The big issue here is the staff who are new, utterly ignorant and not trained and proactive. Just hovering around the table is NOT being attentive, and somebody needs to tell them that. The place is beautiful though, spread over two floors, with an exclusive private dining area as well. Met one of the partners on our way out, and his enthusiasm was very appealing. They do want to pitch this place as the most fancy restaurant in its area, and efforts are On to do that. But the staff needs to be trained far more than what it is currently, if that's to be achieved.

As one of my friend was getting married, he had given us his bachelor party in Ratnagiri restaurant in Goregoan as this hotel was nearby to his house.
I really like the fish tank designed ambience of this place.
The food also was good here but the ambience is excellent and people would always love such ambience.
#ratnagirimalvani

Restaurant is very good for seafood.
We tried prawns, chicken , veg thali, caramel custard.
Manager named Vasudev was very friendly & talkative.
Golden prawn finger starter was delicious.
Decor is good.
Good music is playing in the background.
Even in the toilets there's music.
Also not to forget they give complimentary wafers, flavoured peanuts, paan kulfi , chochlates.

Awesome food with the best fish dishes. The spices used & it's blend is so perfect. They have some good beverages too. Perfect for non-vegans & fish loversšŸ‘

Overpriced and Overhyped. Good courteous staff. Good service and cosy ambience. Charged ME 600 incl taxes for special seafood thali but was disappointed to receive a tiny surmai piece
Uday Bhosle
Best thing about this place is complementary munching with alcohol, everyday different munching options are available and staff is super friendly and helpful. I rated this place with 3 star only because I eat malvani / kokani food and fish every day at home so I found it very average in that place, but if you want to enjoy good sea food in filmcity area then this place is highly recommended by me, and if you are lucky you will end up sharing your table and drinks with some marathi actors at this place.

Overall it's an good and warm hospitality experience šŸ‘

Best resto for the fish lover.
Freshly fried and cooked food which is very plus point and the taste is at the top level . And the best part was soul kadhi.
Highly recomended for the fish lover
Best for malvani flavour

This place was recommended by a cousin. Me being a fish lover am always on the lookout for fish restaurants in Mumbai. And this place did not disappoint. Amazing food, not too spicy or greasy ; the fish fry was fried in just the right amount of oil. The fish thali was worth it. What makes a good dining experience is the food, ambience and the staff. Full marks on all the boxes. The staff was courteous and had a genuine candour about themselves. And last but not the least worth every penny, it's not expensive compared to Mahesh and Gazalle.

Best in class for sea food.
Rarely I have come across to such an experience.
Great indoors, great delivery.
Superb staff, superior taste.
Expensive and why not.
Foodiebay
The special thali and fish thalis are quite value for money. However taste is quite average. Portion size is good and the variety of dishes you get in the thali is quite commendable. But taste is what matters and can definitely be improved. The seafood was fresh and service was good too.
Foodie With Beauty
The people who loves Malwani food and fish should definitely visit this place
They have fresh fishes available
The kombdi vade are perfect, trust me they are šŸ˜
We had bombil rava fry 5/5
Fish thali was 4/5
Ambiance 4/5
Service 3/5
You should always ask for pan ice cream over here, its damm refreshing
The place according to me has a mixed review sometime the food is great and sometime itā€™s just below good. The place is bit crowded and there is always a rush for the table reservation but the wait is worth it . A one of the great place to have sea food in mumbai Suburbs. The Malvani and Mangolarien essence is felt in the food. The bar is more then basic and the price are also reasonable. MUST TRY DISHES- Bombil fry, fish curry in Goan style, Neer Dosa, chicken dry and kombadi vada. Even Chinise food is also also good here. The quantity served per place is educate for two. Staff is very good the and most of the time they suggest what we should have. There is a variety of dishes to chose from in the menu.In total I would rate 4 for ambiance , 3 and half for service , 4 and half for food (out of 5 )
Debashish Sahoo
This place is good for malwani food. Taste is good but price is little high mostly for bachelors. They do have separate dinnibg for family but not much comfortable.

Craving for some sea food, we happened to find this place on Zomato and God, What a find! They have some yummy sea food options. We ordered bombil fry, surmai fry, prawn masala gravy and bhakris, not to forget the sol kadi. Everything was delicious and finger licking. Special mention to the amazing service they have. Staff are on toes to check tables every now and then. Really commendable! This is a must visit place and not to be missed for sea food/Malvani food lovers.

Ratnagiri Malvani is quite famous in the vicinity of Goregaon east for their sea food. It doesn't come so easily in the radar of foodies though. I went last night and quite amazed with their maga size pomfrets displayed at the entrance. I had sea food as I normally do, it was like any other sea food joint without any special stand out in the preparations though. Yes it is steep undoubtedly and also below expectations too. I like their bombil fry and wada's. I may or may not go next time.
Avinash Kate
Very very nice for sea food specially. I have ordered seafood thali and it was amazing. I really loved it as i am sea food lover. Great food and great service also.

Crab curry was excellent but franws biryani was ok...Rate are higher as compare to food quality
And Menu card which is shown by zomato is totally different with actual card.

A well known destination for Malvani food.. been there more than a dozen times. The ambience has improved and the food remains tasty as ever. Bombil and prawns are well prepared

An excellent restaurant for Sea Food Lovers..The pricing is great and the staff is extremely polite and attentive ..They have two sections one of which is a family area which becomes a perfect dinner area for families on weekends ..If the owner is around he personally visits the tables to see you are comfortable and your service is good ..
My all time favorite is the Ratnagiri special Thali and the Crab Sukha..Great place for an authentic Malwan food along with great ambience..
A must must visit!!

So Finally i managed to get my folks here, this place was so packed on a Saturday night. There was a huge waiting but we managed to get in quickly. Perks of being a foodie. The ambience is nothing fancy. We were so hungry so i didnā€™t manage to get the pictures of the yummy Bombil fry, Prawns Koliwada & Peanut masala. Everything was soo yummm, but iā€™ve eaten better prawns koliwada before. All the fish we had were so fresh & flavorful. The manager Khan Sab is so helpful there. The staff & service is quick there too. Plus this restaurant is very affordable.

We visited this place for dinner on a Saturday night and we were surprised to find it packed with people in groups waiting for their house specials to be delivered ,fresh from the sea.Ratnagiri is a small place tucked away in the corner of film city road.We were a group of 6 and had to wait for a good 20 minutes to get a table. The interiors are a little cramped but the staff is polite and attentive towards the customer. We immediately ordered the prawns fry ,bombil and mussels dry for starters. This was followed by prawns masala dry with neer dosa, chicken masala with bhakri, fish thali and seafood thali. The fish is treated well however a little more seasoning would have been better. The pricing is a little steep for the locality as there are other seafood restaurants nearby which are much cheaper.I would rate the place as follows :
Ambience :3/5
Food :3/5
Service :4/5
Value for money :3/5

Ratnagiri Malvani Food

Located in the Goregaon East , Mumbai. This place serves very authentic Malvani food. If you are looking for malvani type homemade kind of food then this place is best for you. I was also not aware about this place earlier but when my friends suggested i happened to visit this place.

The ambiance is very nice. They have fish tanks inside so that makes place look more pleasant. Bar section is also available here so you can also enjoy drink along with the food. Food is very delicious.

We had ordered Surmai Tawa Fry , Fish Thaali and Chicken Crispy. Surmai tawa fry was too tasty and spicy . Chicken was properly cooked in Chicken Crispy. Fish Thali was stuffed too much that i couldn't even finish it. Service i also too good.

Over all i would love to visit this place agai n again i would recommend to each muat visit this place...

Definitely NOT recommended for Malwani food lovers!!Malwani Fish thaali that we ordered had brown gravy which tasted awful. Upon asking, manager said its Goan curry (mind you, it didnā€™t taste Goan either). Fish fry was not good too, smelled stale. Overall waste of money on food which did not even remotely looked or tasted like malwani food. Misleading name & menu!!!!
Divyasri Divakaran
I had both dine in and home delivery , I like the prawns masala fry and neer dosa combination. Also I like pomfret fry . Chicken biryani was good , veg kheema masala also good . Not a big fan of their veg manchurian.
Shantanu Phatangare
The best sea food you'll get here. Nominal pricing and neer dosa and Goan curry should definitely be tasted. They also have solkadi which is like a traditional Indian appetizer or something like that which is amazing.

Give a taste to your tongue of Malvani food at one of the best restaurant in Mumbai - Ratnagiri Malvani Food. A great place to be at specially with friends. They serve delicious fried fish but should always go for tawa fry to get d authentic taste of their Malvani touch. Chicken lovers can go for Leg curry or Kombdi Wade. The ambiance of this restaurant is very typical, but who cares as long as we get delicious food.
The food here is outstanding. We had ordered 2 fish thali (Prawn & Pomfret) which had 2 curries, full piece fried fish, solkadi, dal, rice and an option to choose between chapati and bhakri. Both the thali's were nicely cooked and had a good variety of taste in it.
The service provided here and the suggestions made were very good.
Well to conclude, this is d best restaurant to visit end no. of times. Love this place.

Went there last nite at around 11:30 fr dinner with my wife since she wanted to try the food there since long time.
We ordered chicken liver masala double dry , pomfret tawa fry
And surmai goan curry and rice.

Must say i have not cum across a restaurant serving such fabulous quality of seafood since long time. Even Mahesh lunch home fails when compared ... their fishā€™s were top notch in terms of freshness. The food tasted just like home style. The way a north indian guy like me would ever want it.
Delicious indeed.
The captain and server vijay , if i am not mistaken were very helpful and took great care and made our dining experience a memorable one ... three cheers to the team ... salute to the chefs fr pulling off such spectacular but yet simple food. .. keep up the good work. Will soon be back. šŸ¤šŸ²

Ordered surmai tava fry and it was just too dry, hardly any masala. It was simple toasted fish meant for people on diet. Disappointed! As I had been after recommendation of many friends.

Nice place to go have a couple of drinks and have some good quality seafood. The prawns biryani is my favourite. Great bombil fry and pomfret fry. We even got complimentary dried tiny prawns for biting. Itā€™s a place for sea food lovers and Malvani food lovers.

Visited the place after long time. But food quality is not good which I know . Food quality upset me , I ordered dry chicken thali but given chicken curry was not fresh as I had that previously so I will not recommend this place for my friends.

This place is a must go for seafood lovers.
Authentic Malvani food and served with various drinks ad mocktails is worth the price.
Average ambience and polite waiters.
They are well known for their pomfret, Bombay duck and chicken thali.
A big disappointment! Why? Here you go -

1. Their preparations are no where close to Malvani food
2. Sea food lovers - A NO GO place
3. We ordered Chicken and Fish thali - it had just one dish of non veg with curry and poor quality rice roti and rice. There was no taste at all and so no point even rating
4. We also ordered tava prawns which was not evenly cooked and again no taste at all
5. Too expensive for the quantity, range and quality they are serving

Either you learn from otherā€™s experience or try it yourself and then write such reviews like how I did - Choice is yours - I highly recommend NOT TO GO to this place..
Dheeraj Jha
The menu available on Zomato is incomplete, they do serve Mocktails and fish thalis.

Ordered Surmai thali with Neer dosa instead of chapatis. Neither Surmai nor Neer was available, had to reluctantly eat pomfret and bhakari.

So this was a thali with terms & conditions. Just a bhakari, no additional rice, 1 fish gravy, 1 veg gravy and Sol kadi. Unlimited supply of schezwan sticks was complimentary.

Fried pomfret was fresh and crisp. Gravy was thick and a treat with steamed rice. Chavali came straight out of a government hospital, runny and tasteless.

It wasn't worth 410 bucks but we can only do so little when it com s to sea food.

Great place for those looking for good Malvani food. Their seafood never disappoints. Have been eating at this place since years and have always have enjoyed good food and service at this place.

Just happened to be here for lunch as needed as feel of malvan cuisine as visited their branch in Mira road was surprised the food was even better here . Surmai fry was my favorite in the fish thaali. It's cost effective.

Havenā€™t had such juicy surmai for long, well cooked yum. Neer dosa with chicken leg masala is a great combination for dinner. Few Polite staff smiling n serving makes the food tastes better. Donā€™t have a count how many times I have been there now.

If you are a seafood lover then you canā€™t miss this place. Authentic and tasty Malvani food with decent pricing. What else do you want? Best thing to order would be a thali. For chicken lovers, the chicken thali is quite delicious too.

Nice place to Hangout with Friends, Good Food but bit higher side on price compare to local other competitors, Chicken Lollipop was fresh,Tawa Chicken Recommended by order taker wasn't that great, I like the Bhakhri Roti, and they Don't have Tandoori they have only Malwani food & Chinese Food, Good Ambience, Overall Good,šŸ‘Œ experience..TASTE LOVER šŸ˜Š

The place is good but very expensive as compared to other nearby outlets. Also, it does not have online ordering option which is a thumps down for that. Overall its good but need to work on rates. They are missing out a lot of customer because of high rates.

I ate here when I was visiting Malad. The place looks reasonable with a roadside set up.
We saw dal khichdi in menu so we jumped in, as our kid may not accept anything other than it.
I tried a pomfret fry which I liked.
Again not many options with veg.

Great place at perfect location. Good and friendly staff. The ambience is really realky awesome. Food specially sea food is awesome in great varieties. Must try thali.
Must visit.

Definitely the place to be if you are a sea food lover. The ambiance is upscale even women can dine there even though it has a tag of a Bar, I found that the pricing was way to high for the fish that they serve. The fish was fresh there was no doubt about that. But preparations lacked the taste that someone would expect from a Malavni joint. We tried both Rava fry as well as Tawa fry. Both preparations lacked the quality of taste from a place that claims to be authentic. I was surprised that the chicken dishes that they served were tastier than the fish. Both chicken dishes ordered were not Malvani but they were good. Honestly I feel there are still better Seafood joints in the Goregaon East area than this outlet.
Ravi Iyer
If you are a seafood lover, Goregaon is not a bad place to be. Satkar, Jay Prakash, Konkan Swad and Ratnagiri. Ratnagiri is typical Malvani food joint with a predictable menu. I have been visiting them number of times over the years. Their bombil fry, Surmai Fry and Prawns rawa is excellent. The curries they serve with sea food goes well with neer dosa, rice bhakari or bajrey ki roti. However, in my estimation, considering the cost and quality, the thaali is absolutely brilliant and worth every penny.

It has a bar and family section. It is a decent place to visit with the family. I would recommend it.

Good malvani food.. Please don't try chinese or any other food than malvani.. Everything u get is off course very fresh.. Staffs are very nice.. But you have to wait for your food

Great malvani food. Authentic fish and chicken dishes. A must try for fish lovers.
Must Try: Pompret Fry, Prawns biryani, Prawns Fry, fish thali

There are very few restaurants in Mumbai with an authentic Malvani food taste and this is one of them. Exteriors aren't quite appealing or eye catchy. My recent craving for a long time pending Malvani taste tempted me to try this place which looked average and having huge expectations from it would be unfair.Ā

Tried Chicken malvani curry along with chapati which tasted good. Chicken portions were generous however most of the pieces had more bones and less mass which was disappointing. Gravy had the traditional marathi malvani taste and light chapati complemented the gravy well along with salad.Ā

Paneer Butter Masala on the other hand was disappointing as compared to curry since it was bit on the salty side which resulted in a turn-off. Each dish costed around 190-200 range which is a regular rate however this place needs to work on ambiance point of view.Ā

Overall this place can be tried for a change as it has got the essence and taste of Malvani food along with reasonable price and varieties on menu. Cheers..!

One of the good restaurants in dhindoshi. 5 min walking from dhindoshi court. It's crowarded everytime. Atleast half n hours waiting is there
Ambience---3/5
It's has two section. Both are ac section but one alcohol is served and other complete for family no alcohol. Quite decent feel it's give when u enter to restaurants. Family section is too small and Crump. Quite clean they keep.

Food--3.8/5
They serve delicious sea food. It's a main hightligt is Malvani cuisine. They serve Mangalore, chinese etc cuisine.Fish is fresh, they show you raw fish so it give option to choose small or big size. I love to have prawns and tiger prawns. Lots of variety of nonveg and always has veg dishes they have. Thali is one the running item.

Services--3.5/5
Staff is friendly and help you out to choose the dishes. Parking facilities they provide.

Do Visit if your sea food lover.

I entered and settled down to have some food. The guy who takes orders came and placed the menu card on the table. Shouted out around four times to the waiter to serve water to me, though I had not asked for it. The water did not arrive till I left the place. The guy taking the order did not move from my table as I was browsing through the menu. I decided to order Chicken Rice Plate (300 Rs.) and was immediately suggested Chicken Sukka rice plate (Rs.340) which was priced higher. I then decided to order Bangda rice plate(Rs.330) instead. But the overenthusiastic guy suggested Surmai Rice plate(Rs.390). I got irritated by constant pestering and walked away without placing any order. For the mediocre ambience and the filthy location, the prices are sky high. There are no decent, clean and hygienic restaurants in Malad East. This place is slightly cleaner though not squeaky clean.

Crab Soup, Surmai Fry (yes that huge one), Sukkha Chicken with White Rice Bhakri and that was it !! heaven unlocked !

Located at #Goregaon east, little ahead of #OberoiMall, ambiance is (for lack of a better word) seafood themed, few friends also asked if i was at an aquarium :) .. the menu is kinda priced on a higher side but the food makes every penny worth! yes there is booze too .. so more worth :) this place is known for their varieties of fish thalis but i was not at all disappointed selecting something different. will surely visit again and check out the thali, :)

Hope ul enjoy going here ... cheers

Give a taste to your tongue of Malvani food at one of the best restaurant in Mumbai - Ratnagiri Malvani Food. A great place to be at specially with family. They serve delicious fried fish but should always go for tawa fry to get d authentic taste of their Malvani touch. Chicken lovers can go for Leg curry or Kombdi Wade. Want more options, the service guy are best, as they wud recommend as per your liking n taste. Go with either beer or whisky to get d feel of being in Malwan. Well to conclude, this is d best restaurant to visit end no. of times. Love this place. Cheerz.....

Pricey but good food. This one is most frequented for their fish. The broccoli fried rice and basil potato are a must try. The special combo chicken is nice too. I'd rate it higher if it weren't for the smelly display of fish at the entrance.

We went as a family. Husband, Wife and two kids. It was clean, welcoming. However, we felt that food was not authentic malvani. Most servants and perhaps the cook was north Indian, not an issue but We were quite disappointed that we did not get authentic malvani food which is the main reason we went there in first place. Secondly, we strongly felt that folks come here to drink. This is a bar restaurant and not recommended for family with small kids, although they were nice to kids and us. Little pricey. Also beware that fish cost depends on size, so that there is no surprise in the end for cost.

Super expensive food and unethical people .. Pre GST, they used to send a bill without the service tax break-up. Post GST, they just started adding 18% to the pre-gst price.

Dear management, ever heard of input credits and anti-profiteering clause?

Decent seafood. Thali is very expensive for what you get. Their special thali is the best option to go for. Liquor is reasonably priced. Service is a bit on the slower side. Ambience is good.

Ambience 4
VFM 4
Service 3
Taste 4

Weekend lunch at Malvani was well spent. Very nice authentic food and excellent service. Enjoyed it thorougly.

Tried the Surmai Thali and Bombay Duck Thali along with some soft drinks and freebie mini fryams and salads.

One get free fryams and salad on arrival.

Surmai thali was served with a fish fry cooked in a a perfect blend of Maharashtrian spices and rava, and served along with another fish curry and black gram curry. Available with options of fresh chapatis, puris and rice.

Black Duck thali also came with fried duck and curries. Both the thalis tasted really good.

The staff was extremely courteous and very prompt in their service. All the customers were looked after very well.

Will like to visit again and try their other dishes..

A fabulous restaurant if you are looking for fish delicacies. A treat for foodies. After a long day in the office we 4 friends marched towards this restaurant hungry and a place to enjoy. I had been here twice with my other colleague and wanted to try again. We waited for 1 hour before we got a place to sit, but it was worth the waiting. Quick service, drinks and awesome food. Reasonable price with dedicated service.

Thali wasn't great in taste it was bad service was very good and ambience too won't recommend to bringing children and family because of the crowd but if you like malvani you might like it .

Been here many times. If you love your sea food, this is one of the best placesā€‹ in Goregaon. Seasonal fish fry, prawn butter garlic, soul kadi and caramel custard are recommended. Usually frequented by families and office crowd. Better go prepared to wait if you opt to visit during lunch and dinner time. Also try the meetha pan after your meal from the pan stall right outside this joint.

One of the best malvani seafood I have ever had. This place is very easy to locate, 15 mins walk from oberoi mall.
Overall the place is very good for seafood lovers.

Food - 9/10
Ambiance - 8/10
Service - 8/10

One of the few malvani food outlets in the area, Ratnagiri has been a consistent choice for us whenever we crave for malvani .
My favourite is the pomfret thali. It is pretty reasonably priced and tastes nice. The solkadi served is generally good though last time had a little more salt.
Being a North Indian I was a little sceptical when trying for the first time but now, after 2 years, I can say that malvani food is a must have. Love their rawa coated and fried fish. The only thing i miss is the mint chutney. They do serve the onions along with, though u have to ask for them at times.
There is option of having vadas (puris) or bhakri. Though i prefer having bhakri (made with rice flour), my wife prefers vada.
The manager is a very sweet and cordial person who is always ready to help.
Overall, a good place to savour the Maharashtrian cuisine in Goregaon East.
