During our recent visit to Mumbai, we had the pleasure of dining at The Sahib Room located within the luxurious St. Regis Mumbai. Our experience at this upscale restaurant was nothing short of exceptional, and we are thrilled to share our five-star review. Beautiful ambience, very formal place with good food. Chef Taj Shah has magic in his hands when it comes to the authentic taste of the food. There are many options to dine in. I wish knowing that it was our wedding anniversary, staff could have created a special moment for us to cherish. (The person who had taken our reservation on the phone had asked the occasion) It would have created a cherishable impact and a memorable service.

The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is one gem of an Indian restaurant at the beautiful St Regis, Mumbai. The dining rooms boasts of amazing views at night, it’s elegantly decorated in colonial style with a bunch of artefacts kept everywhere around and delivers a truly “Sahib” experience. Their newly appointed Chef Taj has done a wonderful job in reprising the menu which was already perfect. The Sahib room does justice to The Awadhi Cuisine in every possible way. The food is extremely well balanced, so aromatic that it’s tempting from a distance and has the characteristic of Gilawat in most of the dishes (minimal effort required in chewing). The best way to sample kebabs is to opt for the Sampling Platter. Loved all of them, super tender. Star was obviously the Gilawat kebab, probably the best I ever had after ITC’s Kakori (Sorry the Dum Pukth’s version is still unbeatable). Next we ordered the Sahib ki Nihari and Sahib ki Dal e Khaas which were definitely the best renditions I ever tasted. The balance of flavours was impeccable. Even the breads were fantastic. Have to try the Biryani next time. Coming to the service, everyone took good care of the table, it was non-intrusive. Have to especially give a shoutout to Chef Taj for customising some things and taking the time out to have interesting conversations about food with me and my dad (was celebrating my Dad’s bday). The team did everything and more to make our celebration memorable. My dad absolutely loved the food and was already making plans to return for a meal. The restaurant is soon going to get renovated and I feel super lucky to have experienced what the original Sahib Room had to offer. The newer establishment will be opened by Chef Taj only, have higher expectations. What a fantastic meal it was tho, highly recommending everyone to catch a meal at The Sahib Room. Probably one of the most refined Awadhi restaurant Mumbai’s got. Period.

Went day before Valentine’s Day with friends for dinner. Everything from made to order cocktails to surprise Alphonso mango kulfi with 24 carat gold leaf was perfect! Chef Tej personally made sure each one of us was taken care of. Wait staff and manager checked on us often. They seemed to genuinely care. In all, we had a memorable evening of great food, friendship and laughter. Will visit again for sure!!

I had a lovely time @Sahib Room and Kipling Bar, St Regis. The food, the hospitality, the ambience everything was top notch. It’s one thing to ask how the meal went in a rushed pass by, it’s another when the sous chef himself comes and asks you for your honest opinion or review for restaurant's future betterment. They even surprised us with cake for special occasion. Mr.Azam from the sahib room restaurant made our experience memorable. Definitely visiting again ! :)

The food was so so very good. They served the best Cheese Garlic Bread I have tasted till date. Salad was delicious too. And the Sizzler was completely delectable. The portion size, taste & plating- everything was commendable. I could even take my pet dog with me who also had dinner there. The only problem was though the staffs were very polite, they were not very helpful & the service was quite slow- but that could have been due to weekend rush. Also, though they had nice sitting arrangements, the ambience was strictly okay- nothing fancy. I would surely love to revisit this place soon.

Saag, Dal Tadka: I’ve never had such a good combo before. It’s an insanely great find for me. And more so because I wandered in to the place. I loved the food, the experience- just what was needed, when it was needed.

The menu is short n not very intresting , but the chopper rice is the best i usually visit this place for that n recommend ppl if they wanna have a full mean in a single dish. Its chicken in chinese style at the top with schezwan rice below n an half fry with some crisp ❤️😋really yummy 🤤

The food was Okay. But when divided within 12-13 people the cost pp came upto 500-600 by using gold. Thanks to Zomato gold, even experimenting with food taste is worth the money spent

This place did not have every drink mentioned in their menu. Every time we ask for a drink, waiter says they don't have it available in stock. Also, food quantity is not good. You cannot expect good food quantity. This all is on a Saturday night when people come to party and FLYP does not have their alcohol stock.

They don’t serve Indian liquor purposely. Even though they have it on their menu. Only selling imported for high price. Cocktails also served in metal glasses and very poor quality. Stay away from this cafe.

I was here to perform in the live band event. The food is amazing. Cheesy fries were yummy. Veg “biryani” was also flavourful. Bar menu was very good tasted 2-3 different drinks and was happy with all of them. A very good experience over all.

Good place as the usual FLYP aura, but wait!<br/>If you’re going on the day of an event or live show, you’ll not get a table no matter what. We called them a week prior, and still were not given a reserved table and were made to wait for a corner table you won’t like to sit.<br/>On these ‘special days’, you will be overcharged to the point that a regular pint of beer will cost you > ₹400.<br/>All this made our experience worst. You don’t expect this from this kind of a place.

Another lit place surrounded by corporate office and Classy crowds. In lower parel you get confused as this are is a heaven for restaurants and foodies. They have live music nights on weekends and it's lit. Crowd going crazy types.<br/><br/>Fly MTV is another destination for the food hoggers. Excelente and Elegant stop for the party maniacs.<br/><br/>This place is super hot for their cocktail and foods and their ambience is just killer. A perfect Party place in lower parel. The ambiance of the place is perfect for a fun night with friends and enjoying a good dance and drinks. They also have a beautiful wall right at the entrance where you must get clicked with your whole gang of pals before you leave. We went here continuously because of their excellent service and the way they take care of their patrons. Kudos to the staff here as well.<br/><br/>Some beverage (cocktails and mocktails ordered are mentioned below. All the drinks were perfect, tipsy and vibrant.<br/><br/>Starters and mains are worth trying. Serving done classic started specially like paneer items and mushroom were my favorite.

Although I have been to this place quite a few times, I find the standard degrading per visit. Their cocktails aren't as good as it used to be earlier. I am a fan of their pizzas though!

So we happened to visit this place the other day. The ambience is amazing here. Firstly, we ordered tandoori veg momos which was one of the best that I've had in Mumbai.<br/>We ordered LIITs which was also really good. We also ordered french fries, paneer pizza and nachos. Food overall is good but service is a little slow here.<br/>And lastly, there was this live music which was amazzinggg.<br/>A must visit place for people who like to go to places which are simple yet really good. Average food. Limited food menu. Super expensive. They charge 10 percent Service Charge. Many better food joints in Kamala Mills. Before going - do check the menu. Very limited vegetarian options.

I think Flyp looks amazing. It is spacious and service is decent. But our experience was really disrupted by the unecessarily loud live music from the stage area. We could not even hear each other talking. Appetizer menu could be a little more diverse and creative.

The first experience of zomato gold I loved it we had veg overload pizza and Corona beer the offer was on drink loved it and good place visit on night time

Well we did like the place but we have a few complaints. Hence the 3 stars.<br/>1. Live music was too loud.<br/>2. Live music did not have good singers<br/>3. Sitting is a bit uncomfortable. That may also be because we got benches not chairs.<br/><br/>But.<br/>Food was good. Drinks were superb too. Especially the long Island Ice tea. I fell back to the classic LIT when their WHISKEY SOUR turned out to be too sour 🥴.<br/>But over all we had fun dancing.<br/>But I will give them one things. The venue and decor was superb. 😎

Went here for new years. Over crowded. No seating arranged. Unorganized new party. No food to serve the guests. Drinks out of stock. Spoilt the entire evening plus wasted hard earned money. They should be refunding the money back as it only went it their pocket.

Went der on my friends birthday. A nice place to visit serves good food, liked their chopper rice and pasta . Place is quite big enough , ambience is really amaxing, service is also really nice. In all really liked the place. Will definitely like to visit next time

I went to this place to spend the new year with close friends. We were a group of 8. First of all it took us an hour to enter this place due complete mismanagement of the staff. We had booked our passes through bookmyshow it took us forever to get in. Once we did we requested for a table and we were told a table would be given only if we additional 20k, which is sheer rip off. Coming to the bar which was overcrowded however by 10:30pm they had ran out of liquor, and people were forced to drink cold drinks instead. The tickets mentioned unlimited starters and main course in 5 varients, but the only thing we got served at our table was a big plate of nachos after pleading with the waiter. I completely realize that NYE parties are difficult to manage and things can get out of hand but the level of incapability on the part of management is really questionable. Also the safety norms were flouted. The fire exit was blocked by a make shift kitchen with people trying to get their hands on any plate of food. The management needs to take full responsibility and apologize to patrons for ruining their start of the year this way. I hope others read this review and force the management for a refund because no one deserves to start their year in such an horrible manner.

They don’t deserve even 1 Star, it was indeed a waste of money! I’m not sure if they were short of staff or food or both. May it be a gold pass or silver, all of them suffered due to poor service quality, no liquor and food. It would have been ideal if the management would have considered their cafe’s capacity and sold passes accordingly rather than being greedy and making the place over populated resulting in dissatisfaction for all. I have visited various clubs and cafes for celebrating new year and this year was the worst one. I would never recommend anyone to visit this place, just not worth it. Highly disappointed with the management for ruining my new year eve :(

Went to the NEW YEAR Party here yesterday with high expectations but it was too bad for such an experience. The food management was too bad with respect to the number of people who had come! Had to struggle a lot to get just one plate of snack and we eventually ended up eating very less. Such parties make you feel about not to spend so much on such events!! I'm looking forward to visit the place again but yesterday's event didn't turn out to be good. Writing this review especially for the event only!! Not worth.

However we were made to stand in a queue for an hour even after booking the tickets a week back. People who were paying on the spot were given preference. And we like fools who had already paid were made to wait and for what!<br/><br/>Once they let us in, the scenario reminded me of the scene in a local train when everyone rushes inside the compartment to get a seat. This is what me and my friends did. After grabbing a table, we were hopeful that the night would turn out to be better but it was pathetic. No food for almost 45 mins and when food came in, it was non vegetarian item. I had to wait for more time to get one vegetarian item. We had no spoon, no fork and no plates for the food. I'm hopeful eating a thela's vadapav would have made my new year's.<br/><br/>Music was bad. You can't dance in a place which is overcrowded. Arrgh!!<br/><br/>Alcohol getting over was a nail in the coffin!<br/><br/>Management was rude, obnoxious people who only cared for the money.<br/><br/>Thank you so much for ruining my New year's Flyp!!<br/><br/>(Wish there was a negative rating in the option)

Terrible experience. We went there for New year's party and more than a party experience it was a local train experience. We hardly got any food. They just kept letting people inside to get more money without any space or food.<br/><br/>They should refund our money. It was a complete waste. Poor management.

Went for new year's eve event here and it was absolutely terrible. There were three things that were terrible - the food, the drinks and the management.<br/><br/>1. The food - there was hardly any food available. For an unlimited food and drinks event, this was appalling. We got some chicken starter (one tikka style and one pepper chicken). There were some tasteless fried vegetables as the vegetarian option. The pizza served was probably the highlight of the night. Unfortunately that was the only positive.<br/><br/>2. The drinks - what was promised and what was given, these were very different things. It was impossible to get any drinks after 10pm, owing to how overcrowded the place was. Choice of drinks was poor.<br/><br/>3. The management - this was the most glaring problem. Right from queuing up for entry to leaving from there, the management was disgustingly poor. It started with a heavily overcrowded venue - there seemed to be no limit to the number of tickets sold. It took us more than an hour in queue to get entry despite having pre-bought tickets. Inside, there were hardly any waiters for serving food. We had to grab onto any food with our bare hands and keep it on the table to eat (no plates, spoons or forks provided). The management were very rude, and we felt like we were being herded around like cattle, begging for food and grabbing at any food that came (except that we had paid ₹2000).<br/><br/>And on a side note, the DJ was pretty damn bad. Loved the "DJ sucks" chanting though! Thanks for the pathetic party to usher in our new year, FLYP, but happy new year to you!

The worst place for new year! After paying 2000 bucks , there was no facility of table or food , we literally had to go down and eat cause your staff was disorganised and useless! New year's eve 2019 party.<br/><br/>We went here for new year's eve. We paid 2k/person which is cheapest in the whole of kamala mills for new years eve and this review will tell you to not trust such gimmicks.<br/><br/>We reached at 8 pm as the ticket said seats on first come, first serve basis. There was a huge line for people who had online tickets and a very short line for people who paid rs. 500 more for offline tickets. So they let those people in first. They finally let us in at 8:45pm. People had already started getting agitated. And the ushers/managers were hella-snobs, were behaving as if they are above the guests, as if we were lining up for free food. The tables were reserved even before people got in. We got a table which was in a cramped alley where AC was low (thank god we got a table as it was going to become dadar station at rush hour in a few minutes)<br/><br/>The scene inside the pub was similar to Hunger games- You fight for survival! Food was rarely coming by our area. And when it did we were begging the waiters- literally begging. They got fries and chicken starters in huge tubs. Since there were no plates given we grabbed the fries and the chicken and kept them on tissues since it was hard to tell when we'd get our next food serving (we were right to do so coz we got our next food serving after half an hour).<br/>It was worst for my vegetarian friend coz that food came just twice and the same dish- deep fried veggies.<br/>People were crowding at the kitchen door to get food. So the food that we ate was- 3 plates deep fried veggies, chicken pepper and honey chili potatoes (which we grabbed with our hands), 3 plates of some spicy chicken starter, 1 veg and 1 non veg pizza.<br/><br/>The bar was open. The bartenders looked really sad and unmotivated (I don't blame them coz the place was overcrowded). Drinks was served in paper cups. We got only Budweiser, Bacardi and Vodka. They were mixing some alcohol up if you ask for a cocktail which tasted really horrible. They had mentioned mocktail in the list but they were just serving tropicana. After 10 it was hard to get drinks coz the place was overcrowded- a definite risk if something had gone wrong. A review mentions it being crowded like local train had it correct- but these were drunk people! The bartenders were on the bar serving shots in people's mouths. I had a horrible experience of a bartender hugging me from behind and trying to put alcohol in my mouth without permission. DJ Manas or DJ 'Smack-uhh' (that's how he was saying his name) was belting out mostly punjabi songs. There were chants of "DJ sucks".<br/><br/>New years eve party requires- food, drinks and good music. This place failed at all three. The blame should be on management- to make money they sold more tickets than the size of the place; hired too few staff, and a boring DJ.<br/><br/>

Terrible organization at the new year's party! Started super late, the staff was very rude, there was hardly any food. Would never visit again! Waste of money.

FLYP Cafe. Quite spacious. Good ambience and feel. The whole setup is great for live performances though the one we witnessed was not that great. The DJ after them was good though. We started off with LIIT’s which were very mild. The server took back our drinks and made them stronger. The food menu is quite basic.<br/><br/>Old School Fish Finger - Its just fine. The tartar sauce is good though.<br/>Chicken Lollipop - The menu says prepared in hot and tangy sauce but it was neither hot nor tangy. It was bland and had no taste to it.<br/>Classic Chicken Chilli - Just the usual but good.<br/>Calamari - Mangalorean style. Good flavour. Highly recommend this one.<br/>Meaty Pizza - Thin crust with chicken salami, chicken sausage and bbq chicken toppings. The crust was a bit hard. But other than that I found it okay.<br/><br/>Service was all right. The only major downside here for me was the alcohol pricing. Just didn’t seem worth it considering the other places in the same building. A great lively place to hangout with friends for parties. It was bollywood night and live band 'Pratibimb' was performing. A super enthusiastic ambience with great food quality.

This super hyped place gets a 5/5 only for its ambience. Our Saturday wasn't a happy one at all, one being they didn't have half the dishes on the menu; second the ones they had somehow were not getting into the Zomato gold deal.

Great ambience. Good Music. Above all their chicken biryani is something to die for. It does look like a small portion for the price they charge but it is worth every penny.<br/>The drinks are costlier in comparison to other places around this place but if you want desi music and fusion food. This is the place for you.

Well this restaurant got so scared with my review that they ended up removing my review. I was actually forced to pay service charge by the manager where I denied paying it. <br/><br/>And what they said next was if you don’t pay service charge we will not give you zomato gold benefits. This is what I was been told by manager who further added that this is as per zomato’s policy. Like seriously? Am I fool out here or is zomato a fool? They just put the name on zomato. <br/><br/>Well I tried my best for convincing them that service charge is always a customers option whether to pay of not and you simply can’t force him to pay. If he likes your service he’ll definitely pay you according to his willingness. You just can’t force him to pay a fixed percentage on the bill amount. <br/><br/>Such restaurants earn like anything just from service charge. Ever thought where does it really goes? Give a thought on it guys and let’s stop paying service charge if you aren’t happy with the service. And even if you’re happy pay as per your own wish and not on the basis of the restaurant

Pathetic service whatever alcohol mentioned in the menu card they don't have it and they just want to sell what they want to sell only expensive drinks they will sell rest all is not available despite of having it on the menu card. For us they rejected almost 6 drinks and then we had to ask what is available with you?<br/>Apart from that this is the only place I have visited which makes most pathetic french fries...trust me. Totally annoyed. Just good for students to go and enjoy the lounge ambiance.Thats it.

What a place 😍😍 !!! The ambience is just awesome and also the service. The live music which i experienced over here was also good but the DJ just made our night. The food was also good but the quantity wasn't. So if u wanna hang out with ur friend's.... So just call at FLYP and ask whether the bollywood night is their or no and if yes then just rush to this place.

The food was good. I would strongly recommend Classic Chilly chicken, Tandoori Momos, Teen Mirch Tikka in non-veg and for mocktails- Sati Savitri. The service however was a little laid back, very very slow.

The place, area and set up is amazing. Live music is good. However, justification to paying service charges wasn't worth. Food was ok. We had ordered chicken lollipop and platter. The presentation was good. No AC until 10.30pm on a Sunday night. Apart from this, it's a good party place, spacious. Kudos!

They said all of their menu items are not covered in gold which isn’t true as per Zomato gold rules the whole menu is a part of the offer.

And one more place in KMC, awesome music and the food was yummy. The Decor as many other places here is well done. One disappointing point was that they didn’t have many items which were mentioned on menu. How can one not have pizzas and French fried when it’s on their menu? No White rum and couple of other drinks mentioned on menu.<br/><br/>But the DJ compensated to great extent with this variety of Hollywood and Bollywood numbers!

We visited this place on a Saturday night and as the night grew we were glad we had a table reservation as this place gets packed..but the crowd here is not for the food but for the music. They have a good menu spread but the taste of the food is very average..we ordered the non veg nachos and bolognese fries both of which came with the same topping, the Scotch sliders were nothing but mini burgers with coleslaw. The momos and fish were definitely a good decision.<br/>The music here kicks off with bollywood early in the night with the dj playing tracks from all genres..the dance floor and the place around the tables gives you loads of opportunity to shake a leg and dance away in to the night..I recommend this place solely for its music

The service is too slow.. it took us more than an hour to just place our order.. we felt like leaving the place immediatelly..but had paid cover charge so had to stay for 3 hours waiting for our order.

Best place to chill out with friends. If your a football lover this is a nice place to hang around as they have a big screen. The Dj here has good selection for music and about food, whatever we had ordered till now hasn't been disappointed yet.

Happened to be around for a meeting.. So visited this pl.during lunch.. It's quite huge.. But very well done.. Love the ambience.. Coming to the food.. Tried the green peas soup which was a killer.. Next was the veg platter.. The quantity was superb.. Then we ordered the chopper rice was just too yummy.. Cudnt get a better rice option.. We being three cudnt finish both the dishes properly.. Even ordered the sati savitri drink.. It was vry refreshing.. Above all a beautiful plc and worht the visit!!

I had been there like yesterday. 4 stars is only because of their Live performance 😍😍It was lit and so happening. We ordered Biryani which was not of my taste. The biryani should be masaledar thats my personal choice but this was like we were having plain rice. I did not like the taste. The service is quiet fast I was impressed with that.

As the brand name says , an amazing place to spend your weekends partying around . Though they have a separate menu for the events , that is nowhere close to the menu uploaded on Zomato. The food is average and the cocktails are really disappointing. The staff is too busy to handle everything well. Poor management, specially on the days of some special events. They will take bookings over calls and still not give you a table . <br/>I’ve been to flyp Chandigarh, and trust me! You’ll fall in love with that place , their staff and the food as well. I think they need to checkout the mess they’ve created here.

The place is good. Good ambience, but the service is too slow. Our drinks literally took 20 mins to arrive and we didn’t order cocktails. Nevertheless, the place is normally vacant so, if you want to have a good conversation it’s fairly good considering most places here have loud music.

It was a bad experience. The service was very slow and there was some fight with the waiter and bartender, he's asking the patrons to go talk to the bartender and refusing to get us drinks. The waiter also forgot to place our order and got things after two hours. Inspite of having Zomato gold he refused to get us cocktails because he had a fight with the bartender. He didn't know that mocktails are included in 2+2.

Budget friendly place. Tried chicken, prawns and mutton. Tiger prawns were really good. But it's on the expensive side. Mutton was bad. Chicken dishes were good.

We went to Flyp the other day for grabbing a bite and were genuinely looking forward to what it has to offer after reading the menu. Turned out that their kitchen is under renovation and half of the items of the menu shown on Zomato weren't there. Should have updated about the same. We also ordered chicken lollypops, chilli black bean chicken, yellow chicken tikka kebabs, penne arrabiata, a glass of white wine, bomb blast mocktail and a virgin mojito. The chicken lollypops were crispy but not that great. The chilli black bean chicken also lacked taste. The glass of bomb blast was a sheer disappointment for the taste was bland. The only two things which were good in food were the yellow chicken tikka kebabs and penne arrabiata pasta which we ordered after being unsatisfied with the above items. The glass of white wine and virgin mojito were decent and classic. Though being not crowded at all, this place disappointed us. The music too wasn't that great. The ambience is the only thing which caught the eye to an extent.

Had a fab saturday night at this one last week, Dancing to the sane beats of DJ manas and the overall ambiance of the place!<br/>Located amidst top notch pubs, it becomes even more vital to standout. And FLYP has done that successfully.<br/>It is huge in size and well lit. Food is priced less comparatively and not to forget from Ranveer Brar's Kitchen.<br/>We ordered chicken kebabs and mumbai sandwich. Kebabs were superr! The sandwich was just filled with potato sabzi :/ (the reason why I am not giving a 5 rating).<br/><br/>Friendly staff. You can avail zomato gold for food here. Alcohol buckets are fairly priced. They also have good artists performing every weekend. Check on zomato beforehand.

Hi so our group of 12 people went flyp at afternoon. This poor cafe has ac to show coz their ac does not work. The manager told us give us some time as they are working with their ac. We all were patient but poor ppl didn’t have ac. They just keep fooling ppl coz as their event was to start their ac started working 😱 I mean such magic cafe. Their service was horrible. Manager didn’t even inform use while we were booking the table. Super disappointed with it. As these ppl don’t know to serve their customers. They have a unethical business and service. I will never recommend this place to anyone

Good food, average cocktails, great interior. But their live music night sucks. Plus while using zomato gold, the waiter did not tell us on which dish the GOLD is not applicable. I mean, seriously who crams the whole menu of a restaurant. He opened the mouth in the end while producing the bill saying you should read terms and conditions.<br/>My point was simple, it is difficult to learn terms and conditions. Moreover wherever i use Zomato gold, as a courtesy waiter informs us if GOLD will be applicable or not on a certain dish. Nevertheless never coming back. Thanks for food though.

There is just one word Pathetic. I dont undetstand why are you running your Cafe when your Ac is not working. food was horrible. Poor service by staff. And please invest and provide tray to your staff dont just handover bill copy bare hand. I will never visit again.

Air Conditioning not working. Orderd for a Pizza but got to know that the oven is not working since a week. Changed our order and ordered for a Khaw Suey but that too wasn't available. Finally settled for some average pasta. Overall, not a place I'm visiting again
