I recently dined at the newly revamped Uttam da Dhaba in Marol, Andheri East, and it exceeded my expectations. With a range of dining options all under one roof, it's a versatile choice for various occasions. The main restaurant's aesthetic appeal is perfect for those Instagram-worthy moments, while the Dhaba section adds a rustic charm to the experience. "Fly," their lounge, provides a relaxing space, and the Kesar Banquets are a great choice for special events. For starters, we enjoyed the Banjara Kabab and Chicken Chakori Kabab (highly recommend) which were bursting with flavors. The Desi Romance and California Emita mocktails perfectly complemented our meal. The lasooni saagwala paneer and sig slow-cooked dal makhani for the mains were exceptionally delicious. To top it off, the Rasmalai Tres Leches Pull Me Up dessert was a delightful fusion of Indian and Western flavors, making it a must-try. Kiran our server was full of energy and outstanding in recommending these finger licking dishes to us . Uttam da Dhaba is a top-notch dining destination with a diverse menu and inviting ambiance, suitable for any dining occasion. Do visit 🤩

I was there with my wife, the place is recently renovated and everything has been revamped. The vibes are good. A good place to visit with your family. Ordered Dal makhni, Afghani Tandoori and Channa garlic. Everything was good. The only thing is service tax is mandatory which shouldn't be the case. It depends on the customer if they wish to tip the waiter or not.

The legendary age old Uttam Da Dhaba now has a new look 😎 If you are looking for good Punjabi and North Indian veg on non veg food this is the best place to come within Andheri East. Located on Marol maroshi Road this Dhaba is quite famous as it has been around for a really long time. They have very recently renovated the place and have also added a banquet hall. This is something new. Parking is scarce as this road is generally traffic prone in the evenings but if you are lucky you might find parking around the area. Tandoori chicken butter chicken and Butter naan are their signature dishes along with makke ki roti and sarson ka saag.

Excellently renovated under the new management. Not just the restaurant is great but the lounge & the small party room with a capacity of 40 people is amazing with the banquet hall on the 1st floor with a capacity of 150 guests is superb. Seems like well done for catering to clients from family to corporate to college goers. Must visit 👌🏻

I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The Tandoori Chicken was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, with a nice smoky touch. The Dal Makhani was rich and creamy, a true comfort food. The Crispy Fresh Naans were the ideal accompaniment, and they were indeed crispy and delicious. What stood out the most was how well seasoned and fresh all the dishes were, making the meal a true delight. I can't wait to return!

This was a nice and budget friendly dhaba in Marol Andher east area. We had ordered chicken liver fry, chicken lollipop followed by chicken tawa and butter naan. Every dish is good. And you should try paya soup which unfortunately was out of stock that time. Worth trying 1 time. Service is good, ambience is average but overall it was good experience.

We ordered Masala papad, Chicken Kebab(South style), Chicken Tandoori lollipop, Mutton Rogan Josh, Makai roti, Kulcha, Garlic naan, Chicken Tawa and steamed rice. The lollipop and kebab were simply tasty. Lollipops were quite juicy. Mutton Rogan Josh only had 4 pieces and it's gravy wasn't even tasty, but upon telling it to manager, he managed it very well. Rest else was tasteful too. Ambience is very chic. Music can be a bit loud. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

We order Paneer tikka masala and it was smelling like anything and I took back it to the restaurant and was asking to replace as this was second issue .. first issue was with paya soup on which we found wrappers and hairs .. we informed and let it go .. but how can I third time order or have food in such an unhygienic restaurant..

Uttam Da Dhaba👍🏻🍛 I recently visited this place which is located in Marol. I visited there on last weekend. I thought there would be rush but fortunately we got the table. The place was very spacious from inside. The cleanliness of the place was well maintained. The staff was very kind with us. The service provided was very fast. I had ordered makke ki Roti and some mixed vegetable pulav. The presentation was quite impressive. The quantity was much enough for two to three people. The rates were also reasonable. Would like to recommend about this place to other people too.

I would like to start this review by saying I have never been to restaurant where even the waiters wear a hairnet. Regardless to say the place was very clean and hygienic. Went there on a Thursday Evening. We were quickly able to manage to find a table for two. I started my meal with cream of chicken soup. Those who love white sauce pasta would surely love it. It wasn't as plain as it seems. Infact it was way too tasty, creamy and yummy. Felt like having something in tandoor hence I ordered Murg Tandoori Kebabs. It was way too delicious and juicy. Cooked to perfection. For main course we went bonkers for Mutton Biryani. Again the biryani was too good. It was perfectly moist and flavour full. And for desserts I ordered my favorite Caramel Custard. To be honest I wasn't that happy with the desserts. But apart from desserts everything was too tasty. It is extremely pocket friendly for a non vegetarian restaurant. And it seems, it would go under renovation. Must visit this great place in Marol.

We’ve been at this place quite a number of times now and there service has never failed to amaze me. It is a small restaurant to serve 10 families at any given point of time. Their service is as good as their food. We’ve tried multiple dishes but clicked some of them last time only. Their ambiance reminds you of Punjab village which is a rare thing in Mumbai. I entered this place with much hope to get some authentic Punjabi cuisine We ordered Dal makhani Chicken Tikka masala Naan Roti Masala papad Well honestly masala papad was the only Saving grace here. The tables aren't clean, the staff not courteous and food isn't anything great. It's possible this place had some old glory back in the days but not anymore. The place is close to my office. Went with the girlfriend. Ordered chicken liver fry and Chicken Keema paratha. When the paratha arrived, I was confused whether they brought the wrong order, because it looked like onion paratha. Hardly any chicken pieces. Calmly asked the waiter, who was graceful enough to inform his manager. The manager did not handle the situation well. While talking about the paratha, he simply moved out from mid-conversation and went to his seat. Probably should not be rude and learn politeness if want to stay in the customer service business. They have redone the place. Better than earlier. Value for money.Good Food(3/5). Ambiance (2/5).Terrible Service(0.5/5). My one time visit is done here.

Best Punjabi food I have ever had... This restaurant actually fulfilled ma craving of authentic Punjabi food..serving is a little late and also they forgot to serve one dish but guess it's cos of the rush in the restaurant.. I have visited this place and have also ordered through Zomato.. both ma experience was wonderful.. Black dal and butter garlic naan was just amazing .. Tried their kadi, Black dal, tandoori mushroom.. all these are must try. Would have given a star less cos we had to really wait for the order for too long ... but the wait was worth and quite reasonably priced. This place is become ma favourite for Punjabi food.. will try more other dishes too.

This is practically not the worst restaurant I would say I have been there previously when the restaurant wasn't renovated but this time the experience was worst it took almost half n hour for the chicken platter and in that the food was not that hot at all and as recommend by the staff we ordered chicken tawa half it was tastless the staff we available however we had to call them soo many times for masala papad it took 20 min and it wasn't that taste the onion were smelling first we told them 4 butter roti n then one More but the waiter only bought four n the statement was forgot however thank God it came a bit fast I didn't felt I was eating shehzwan rice I felt like I am eating boiled rice with salt in it n at last finger bowl was cold and not hot I would not recommend anyone if they want to have good food I would rather prefer Benzy or Uncle Chinese corner or either Roots of India amazing place in marol. And the comedy part was the waiter asked do u want five finger bowl or just as we were five people 🤣🤣🤣

This is practically one of the worst places I have every ordered from. My family wanted to enjoy a pleasant evening with some kebabs and a tandoori but it was literally the worst food we have every tasted. The prices of the kebabs are exorbitantly high for the quality and quantity they provide. These people do not know how to cook a proper meal and I would recommend anyone to stay away from this place.

Bad experience. Ordered a veg manchow soup and veg biryani, found 3 hair follicles in the soup and returned it. While having biryani, again found a hair follicle. When I showed the follicle to the manager, he says it might be yours when the follicle was in the bowl but not in the plate. Will never visit this place again, the management doesn't have minimum courtesy to apologise but also charged me for the biryani. With no intention to argue, I just paid and left the place.

In last eight months of being in Mumbai, I can clearly that, say this place provides the best North Indian food, I have had so far. We have had Dal Makhani, Rajma, Paneer Bhurjee, Murg Kolhapuri, Murg Kalimiri, Paneer Tikka Biryani, Veg Hakka noodles. All North Indian dishes were truely northern on palate except Kadhi pokada. Staff is very humble and courteous.

Really like the food of this place because of its authentic north indian taste. But the service always disappoints. The salad (onion and lemon) provided by you in parcels are always stale and smelling. Even after asking multiple times we still get stale salad almost every time we order food ready to be thrown into dustbin. The quantity of food, for Rs. 160 we do not expect just 3 small pieces of chicken in chicken masala right!! We order very often from your restaurant as we like the food but these things are quite disappointing. Please take a note of above and try to improve.

Food is good but if I talk about ambience then it's nothing like shown in the pictures. We spoke with owner he said we have to remove all fancy Dhaba things because they don't serve #Hukkah anymore. It looks like plain restaurant now but the food is good and price is also affordable. Unfortunately, the person serving didn't do justice to his job as we had to repeat our order continuously and check with him again and again. He served Fresh Lime Soda after the food was almost over. Because the price is affordable and place is decent enough I would recommend to give it a shot at least once in a while. Just don't go by the pictures you see on zomato.

Urban Tadka Saki Naka is a way better option.

I've been watching uttam da dhaba since my childhood but never really visited it. But today finally i got a chance to visit and have an awesome time. The quality of food was excellent chicken and paneer was very fresh and tasty. Food we ordered for starters was Paneer Hilltop and Chicken Aghani for meal we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Makke di Roti and it was delicious. Staffs were very kind ambience is too good.
