Nice restaurant with superb food , but pav bhaji is so so not that great . Pls don't order Pina colada never seen this drink in green color as well as taste was horrible.

We were looking for some nice Veg restaurant nearby Siddhivinayak Temple, Dadar. And This turn out to be the great choice approx Kilometre away inside P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy. You can see Bharatratna Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar International Sangeet Mahavidyalay up there. Peaceful place. Regarding the hotel, it's really nice. Tables are placed very well and distant enough. Ambience is also good. Service was ok, still there is scope of improvement. The food was good at test and sufficient quantity also. Issue with washroom is that it's there upstairs, common washroom of the Academy. Though they are enough maintained but quite distant. May trouble senior citizens or people with walking problems. For Veg food i would recommend to must visit.

We were looking for a nice place to have our lunch during our visit to Siddhivinayak Temple and we came across this restaurant. This is inside the complex of Natya Mandir. We ordered Veg Manchow Soup, Paneer Chilli, Fajita Sizzler and sizzling brownie. Food was yummy and portion too was appropriate. We enjoyed the food. Only Sizzling brownie was a bit letdown. If you are around this place and want to enjoy vegetarian food then this place is worth the visit.

Loved the food, we ordered threaded paneer, was best. Plus the staff was keen to make customised sabji, so they are more over customer centric. We told we don't want cauliflower, tomato, chillies, Gobi, etc. And they made it and was also good.

The place has a good offering of multiple cuisines from around the globe majorly indian..the taste is good for most dishes i have tried and I have been here a lot of times..its been like a go to restro for family dinners with large groups..service too is good and they have a very spacious area for large groups as well..

Had a great experience of dining @ Utsav. The sizzlers and paneer chilli are a must try dishes and personally I like all of their food which is on the menu, would suggest to visit the restaurant once.

One of the best family restaurants in Mumbai I have been to..it has a wide variety of cuisines at reasonable prices..the taste and quantity are good overall in most dishes..service too is prompt here..highly recommend Paneer Chilli, Veg Sham Savera, Harabhara Kabab Masala, Onion Uttapa and Schezwan Fried Rice.

We Lokmanya Vidya Mandir, Mahim Students Passed SSC in 1973 Gatherd Here For A Small Party, Our Maths Teacher Mr. Patil Attended And It Was A Pleasant surprise for Us, The Arrangements And Food Served By Hotel Was Of Good Quality , Our Friend Mr, Shree Telang Made It Possible In Very Short Notice, We All Enjoyed The Gathering

It's a perfect family restaurant, people of all ages can fill up their stomachs. They have all varieties for South indian, north indian, Chinese. The starter are real good especially the kastha kathi rolls. A perfect place to visit with family and friends. Also pocket friendly and great service.They also serve south Indian dishes with one extra piece like 3 idlis and 2 dosas in one plate, isn't that amazing?!

Best Pure Veg restaurant in Dadar. Based out of Ravindra Natya Mandir it is frequently visited by Marathi Celebrities. My favourite dish is the Cheese Kofta. It serves good quality South Indian and Punjabi dishes. Highly recommended

The safety of the customer is on toss! We have received stapler pin in the dosa chutney. And the management isn't of being apologetic they were arguing and they were giving excuses.<br/><br/>When we ordered margherita pizza, It was way too spicy and full of Chilli Flakes. This is one of the very few family restaurants in Prabhadevi. Mainly famous for it's north Indian, Utsav serves amazing chinese also. Their triple Schezwan is one of the best I've had till now (except that they even put fry fruits in it). The restaurant isn't very cheap but the quantity is good.

My worst experience in delivery till date. They took the order (1 Pav Bhaji) and didn't deliver for 45 mins. When I called back, the shameless person on the phone tells me that you will have to wait for another 15-20 mins. I cancelled the order. I wonder how restaurants like these survive in today's world. The food here well below average. Pav Bhaji, a staple for such restaurants was poor. Pizza was just passable. Service is poor. Ambience is just okay. But what killed the experience for me is the rats roaming freely under one of the tables. Creepy. Avoid.

Me and my friend randomly made a plan to go and eat here. As she suggested some of their dishes we went ahead and ordered them.<br/><br/>Manchow soup was mandatory. And it was a good. But we ordered 2 starters corn cheese balls and threaded paneer. Turned out not to be good. Quantity wise they were good but quality was also okay. But there was something disappointing abbout it. <br/><br/>My first visit was good but this one turned to be disappointing.

Ate paneer tikka masala, butter naan, roti and onion uttapa here. Everything was delicious specially the paneer was so lazeez and mouth melting! Butter naan was a bit chewy but that's ok. Overall good experience. Comfort food at its best.

Small place hidden inside the compound of Ravindra Natya Mandir. Good service, Decent Place usually crowded with people who come to watch the shows played at the theatre. Quantity was good enough for everyone. We had Paneer Chilly and Veg Crispy for starters which was more than sufficient for about 7 people with good appetite. Main course was Paneer Pasanda which should get 5/5 best I've ever had. Veg Biryani was okay...not that great. Roomali Roti's were superb. All in all not bad. We were 7 and total bill inclusive of taxes for INR 2300/-

Bad manager or that one person in the restaurant!! I dont know who is that person in the hotel who disrespects the customers. Our bill came out to be Rs. 670, we gave them 2000 Rs. note, and for the change they almost took up 15-20 mins of our time. Even after asking continuously about the change and bill, they said "we are getting it". Finally that one person came, got the change box from the cash counter itself. When i asked him that when u already had the change, why did u kept us waiting and i asked him "ab aur kitna time lagega? " what he replied was unexpected. He said "change bhi nahi hai aur card bhi nahi hai aapke paas, time lagega abhi" .. I said "we are giving u money, u dnt have the change wht can i do. So what i dnt have card, u cant tell ur customers like this. Dnt u wanna call us again? Is this the way u talk to ur customers? Even after u had the change, u made us wait for so long aur upar se humko hi suna rahe ho? " to which he replied "i dnt want to argue with u" .. I replied "neither do i have time nor do i wana argue with u" ..uske baad usne apne waiter se baat karte karte humko sunane ki koshish ki.. Bad, really bad treatment with a customer. Do not visit such places. Request u to close down the hotel because u dnt respect ur customers. Is this the way ur people speak to the customers????

An ordinary family restaurant with above average food and higher noise levels. This place is located inside the natak theatre and is bustling with people. It's a family place with good food. The food is tasty and is served pretty fast. The water however tastes weird. It has a well flavour. There is a huge empty space outside where u will find number of children running around and enjoying themselves. All in all a good place to go with family.

It seldom happens that i give such a worse review. But today yes it totally is needed. This place seriously is blacklisted from my list like forever. Have been at this place years back n few mnths back but didnt really think of it tht bad. But today i went there really hungry and actually wanted to try their best. We straight to the point ordered paneer butter masala. With some rotis (plain as i realised they wer over charging for butter rotis 20 extra at this place is a NO). The food arrived quite in time and the 1st bite just made me want to get up n leave. Tasteless gravy just pure tasteless. I tried adding salt and sprinkled some lemon juice on it but in vain. The paneer was succulent but it had no taste in all. The gravy lacked flavours and so did the paneer. I thought judging them by one dish is wrong and i was really way too hungry . Wanted to just say sorry to my taste buds with something real good and tasty so went ahead and ordered Kolhapuri Pulav. This also could not save us from the disaster. It was worse than the paneer butter masala. It was plain rice with some veggies n colour added. Why on earth do they serve it im confused... Then n there i realised the food isnt worth it and for the money they charge NO WAY.... to top it all the staff lacks basic courtesy. We had 2 spoons of rice and didnt want to eat anymore as it was pointless just dumping it in. So asked 1 of the staff to parcel it. I complained to him about the rice and the food. Forget apologies he didnt even acknowledge what i said and just went ahead. Another guy came and took the dish and parcelled it ( yes i parceled as i didnt wanna waste food and definitely for the Money i paid not at all) . The food was really not worth the time and the money and the staff made it worse. Please avoid this place is my suggestion .... THIS IS GARMA GARAM REVIEW ...as I was fuming with the experience and hunger, just came home n vented it out here. Trust me u wont lose any foodie experience or any splendid Dish if u dont visit this place. Have visited the restaurant twice and both the time was absolutely unsatisfied with their service.food was so so sooooo faltu over all not good restaurant.waste of money restaurant.

Am here right now for a relative's birthday dinner. The staff should learn how to handle a large group of people. The serving portion varies from person to person. I did not like their service. The way they talk is very pedestrian. I am not happy. Am not coming here again.

This place is usually visited by those who know about it. Situated inside Natya Mandir compound, Utsav can be seen only by those who are looking for it. Place is quite as it is disconnected from main road by huge porch. Food is just ok, portions are small. However prices are still on higher side. Taste-Price wise there are better places nearby. <br/>Ordered 5 dishes but none of them were good enough worth mentioning.<br/>If you skip Utsav from your food exploration, you won't miss anything.

Been here and ordered from here quite a lot ! Chinese starters and paneer sabzi for naan is really good ! Also veg dum biryani is delicious ! Worth ordering at home when lunch isn't there or for a subsidised meal with your frnds or family !

Nice place. The food is also good and tasty. Service is one area which needs to improve though as the attending waiter didn't know anything about the ingredients of food items in the menu. But overall, a nice place to try for veggies.

Have been here couple of times..pure veg and also serves good jain food..their pav bhaji is good..but at times the taste varies from good to ok..indian food is nice..love the paneer punjabi masala worth a try

This restaurant is situated inside ravindra natya mandir. It's a little hidden you may have to ask for directions. Their parking lot is very scary though. <br/>They serve typical north indian food. Their panner kadhai is very good. They serve good veg biryani. Their waiters are quick and helpful. There is nothing great about their cuisine. But it gives you a very homely feel. I would rate this place as average

We were invited here for the function. We used to see this restaurant quite often but never been there as we always used to think abt the parking..... As we were invited we had no option and saw the huge parking in basement. We were impressed. As we entered people greeted very nicely. Making us aware of the step at the entrance. It was anniversary so it took us time to order as we were more of interested in Cake cutting and wishing the couple. All the staff were so patient they didnt rush for order. Ambience is good it was weekday so was not crowded. Now coming to the food. We ordered Crispy veg and Manchurian. Both were of same taste. Not that tasty. We opted for Punjabi Maincourse so ordered Paneer Kadhai and Veg kolhapuri. Kolhapuri was not spicy as it shld be but Kadhai was good. Veg Dum biryani was yummy but again too much flavour of Kewda Water. In all good experience.

Went to lunch from office with one of my colleague. Pure veg restaurant it is. Ambience is ok..it's a typical old timer type of restaurant.. Same old manners of the staff, heavy wooden furniture...and food typical indianised version of everything even in Chinese. I was not disappointed either with service or food ..but not excited either. Won't go again unless some one invites me for a lunch here and I can't refuse.

This place located near to ravindra natya mandir serves both north indian & south indian cuisine. The tastes are just about ok and the service is also quite dull. The portions are quite decent though and prices are resaonable.Visit the place only if u feel like.

Utsav is a long standing mostly North Indian family restaurant located inside the premises of Ravindra Natya mandir. It is a bit hidden, so you might have to ask someone.<br/>On most days there is not a lot of crowd, but being a family restaurant, you are sure to expect a lot of crowd from Friday to Sunday. On these days you will have to wait for about half an hour.<br/>It is mostly a family restaurant as I said, so you are sure to find all types of crying shouting in the place, that will definitely take the ambience factor of the place down a notch. Otherwise it's a decent looking place.<br/>The service is a bit slow, but we did go on a Sunday, so that might have been the issue. The food is good and that is the reason you will keep coming here. The dal Khichadi and paneer butter masala are recommended. They don't use any colouring and hence it tastes@ good. It is one of the few good completely veg place in this neighbourhood, so that might help it's fame.<br/>A good place to go if your family is in town or in general for a family outing. The place has good food, but does not fit the bill for 500 for 2,its more like 700/-for 2.

This restaurant has been in prabhadevi since ages now...but I got a chance to visit it recently with my friend. Lekhinee Upadhyay <br/>The highlight of our whole experience was the "shredded paneer crispy". They serve around 10 pieces. I must say it was the best shredded paneer i have eaten so far!! It was tender paneer with spicy red masala , made into bite size balls. <br/>Since we were just two the starter itself made us full so we kept the main course to the minimum <br/>We ordered the veg handi with a two butter rotis. The main course was equally good. The rotis were well made and the vegetable handi was flavourful! <br/>Overall a very satisfying experience!! I am looking forward to come here more often.☺
