Review Craft Deli Bistro Bar - Mumbai

Overall: This one has a nice lively atmosphere. Pretty much like a coffee shop, just that they serve beer as well. Passing time: They have a nice collection of games so you can spend your time leisurely here. They're not in a hurry to shoo you off. Food: It has a limited one-page food menu, but the food is acceptable. The house fries are a hit, with some pretty decent dips that come with it. Cons: Very few veg options. The beers seem to be like seasonal fruit juice in a restaurant. They keep changing. Our group asked for the Apple cider and the mango cider that we previously ordered, but both were off the menu. Even two of the six beers supposed to be available were out of stock. Pets: They're pet friendly so don't hesitate to take your canine or feline friends with you. Parking: That's sometimes a problem. You don't always get parking as the area under the bridge if always congested. They don't offer valet parking. All in all a nice place.

Nice place to hang out on a weekend. They have a parking issue to strongly suggested to go by bike or cab. Not a very huge place but decent enough..crowded on weekends so go early as possible. You can bring your pets. They have many games to play and enjoy your beer. Must try there apple cider. Do visit when you are near kemps corner.

This place is a really interesting place. A must visit for beer or cider lovers. The beers and ciders are mind blowing. Taking about the food : one of the best places! Not a fan of the dumplings honestly, but the rest of it is simply delicious. My most favorite place until today. This place is located at Kemp's Corner, 1st floor right above Gusto'sand next to Starbucks. It is a little difficult to locate since there is no sign board. Do try the beers and the Burmese Khaukswe. They serve Jain food as well.

Awesome place to hangout with a group of friends who love board and card games. This place has a perfect collection of both. As it is Taproom, it has a good collection of beers around the world. Ask your host for tasting the beer before ordering it. I would suggest the Belgian Wit for mild and refreshing taste and German Marzen for a strong taste. And don't miss out on fries, they have a finger licking dips with them.

Must try apple cider... Simply amazing. The squid done 2 ways was a star. All in all its an awesome place to visit with a group of friends because they have some interesting games you can while waiting for your food like jenga uno etc. The staff is super nice and will help you with anything on and off the menu. Definitely coming back.

They have there own flavoured beer. I liked the apple cider flavour as I'm a novice when it comes to drinking. The best part is that they have a lot of games that you can play with your group. I saw snake and ladder, Jenga, Uno, cards etc. They have a dog, so if you are allergic to pets this place is not for you. On the culinary part, it was pricey a bit when compared with the quantity. Overall a very good place to chill and spend time with friends.

This chain of Bar are perfect for casual / business meetings. Being here on a lazy Sunday afternoon n sipped on some lemon & peace ice tea. They offer a variety of beers as well which is a must try. Also they have some board games kept handy to play with your friends.

Food is perfectly standard across all Doolallys. Pork ribs were excellent and Belgian wit was as crisp as ever, though I am a fan of hefewisen. Personally, the andheri doolally is the best in terms of crowd and the buzz, then bandra, then keeps corner. Can't define it exactly.

Very good place to chill out with friends. Different kind of games available to play. Quiz sessions arranged by them and if you answer correctly, free handouts of beer provided against the same. If you want a silent place then will not recommend this place for you as it is a bit noisy in there. You'll have to go via stairs and then besides Starbucks to reach there. Pics to reach there attached with this review. If this review is helpful, please click like.

House fries @godoolally . A place with amazing ambience and silent music located at posh location of Kems Corner. Ordered this #fries which was on front page and had its name as house fries which signifyied inhouse receipie. Such an amazing fries and garnished with red powder over it ans specialty was its #size what a big size fries they were. It was served with Bhut Mayo, green chutney, Herb Tzatziki (Greek Yoghurt), Mango Basil Salsa. Each were damn amazing and made the taste of the fries super fantabulous 😋. A must must try one 💞

Nice atmosphere.. Quick service.. Additionally they even provide the customizations as per your need.. Beer testers are the best thing you can possibly get to get the perfect beer for yourself.. House fries and craft burger were perfect to go along with the beer.. Belgian Witbier is absolutely a stunnner!

With a good amount of students attending the session the place was quite spaced out. Like the spread of bewereges n food. Gave a very pleasant feeling through out the workshop because of the calm n wodden surroundings of the ambience.

Spacious taproom, around the Kemp's corner bridge right next to the Starbucks. They don't have a lot of variety in brewed beer but the one's they have are really good, especially porter, mango cider etc. You can chill here with either a book, some board games or your friends but definitely a beer on your table. Oh,also it's a pet friendly place.

I particularly liked the seating arrangements that give you adequate privacy. Great options in fish and especially red meat. The place is equally good with veg cuisines. We ordered for reuben burger, salmon and oven roasted cauliflower and they were cooked wonderfully. The only criticism I have is they need to have green dots next to veg cuisines or list them in a seperate page. You end up going thru the entire menu. Overall it is a fabulous experience.

This review comes a week later post me and a friend of mine did happen to chance upon a specially curated Christmas Menu at the Craft. A new entrant at the Phoenix MarketCity Kurla, but rather a welcome one indeed since this mall is overtly crowded with restaurants offering oriental cuisine. Decor: 5.0 One word that best describes the interiors at this place is “Fantastic!”. I wonder who the Interior Designer is? ;) Absolutely loved how the facade looks, would definitely make one step inside to have a look. The booths that stretch across the length of the restaurant have been artistically designed with wooden canopies resting upon each of the tables, providing the necessary privacy as well as the required warmth. The seating in the booths upholstered in red definitely added to the festive cheer. The restaurant is divided into three zones A) Booths which could easily seat 06 B) Tables of 02, 04 & 06 that are situated at one end of the restaurant & an C) Al Fresco Area that seemed rather picturesque. Food: 3.0 While I absolutely salute the team at Craft for presenting food that is a visual treat to the eye, there were quite a few observations that I honestly would like to bring in to their notice. Our specially curated menu encompassed the following Courses. Course 01: Amuse Bouche: Watermelon with Feta A classic combination which can never go wrong. The Feta with it’s creamy and dense texture complements the watermelon that is watery and crunchy—and also salty enough to stand up to the fruit’s intense sugariness. This Bouche definitely did amuse our appetite’s for the courses to ensue. Course 02: Dips served on Sesame Lavache: Green Goddess Hummus & Sundried Tomato Basil Tapenade Must I agree that the dips did taste heavenly, but I was soon out of Lavache and I so wished the chef was a wee bit generous with those indeed. Course 03: Small Plates A) Quinoa Chicken Strips: Barbecue Honey Mustard The Honey Mustard was an absolute delight and the Chicken Strips were flavourful B) Chilled Roast Turkey with Grilled Peaches & Cranberry Glaze What really did catch my attention were its presentation. This one was a definite looker! Instagram ready one would say. However, having said that Turkey as a meat is rather dry, hence one did miss a rather generous helping of the Cranberry Sauce which didn’t seem to be the case here. Hence of the two Small Plates that we tried the “Quinoa Chicken Strips with Barbecue Honey Mustard” wins hands down. Course 04: Liquid Shots Chilled Strawberry Bisque with Spiced Strawberry Crostini Now this one here was an absolute surprise. When I first read it’s description on the menu I couldn’t decipher as to what could that be possible fit into? The Bisque made it sound like a Soup while the Strawberry gives you an inkling of something sweet. No? But all my doubts were left answered upon it’s arrival. A shot glass served with strawberry that had been blended with some other ingredients that gave it a nice sweet tangy taste. One could also sense a bit of spice which reminded me of a Bloody Mary, wherein the Tomato had been replaced with the Strawberry. What I really missed though, and something that would’ve caused wonders was a dash of Tobasco! ;) With that bravado to whosoever thought of that. Course 05: Pizzas A) Artisanal Veg (v): Smoked Bell Peppers, Roasted Artichokes, Kalamata Olives, Baby Spinach & Bocconcini B) Turkey Pastrami Pizza: Herbed Onion Rings & Olives There’s absolutely nothing that these Pizzas could’ve faulted upon. I like my crust thin and that’s what we got. The helpings were generous and the ingredients fresh. What I really did miss though that the crust wasn’t as crisp as I would’ve liked it. Any which ways the Pizza was delicious and this was something that I could’ve easily overlooked. Course 06: Big Plates Now this is one course where things horribly went wrong. After the ratings moving upwardly on the graph the experience took a nose dive here. A) Oven Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli (v) with Fennel & Tarragon Glaze To begin with the serving size seemed nowhere close to a Big Plate. After years of being pampered with humungous portion sizes of mouth watering delicious Pasta at the Salt Water Café I was rather surprised to see what lay in front of me. Keeping that aside the Ravioli was rather doughy and the filling chalky. The dish as a whole was highly insipid and a bigger portion size would definitely not have helped. B) Pan Grilled Tenderloin, Parmesan Mash & Vegetables with Shiraz Reduction: Same was the case with the Tenderloin. The meat was extremely tough to the extent of being rubbery. The Parmesan grated on the Mash had been kept under the Salamander for too long I suppose. As opposed to the golden brown color that it needed to attain the gratings were charred black which gave it an acrid taste. My friend was left fuming and left his main half way through. The Manager was kind enough to have taken notice of that, and he did offer a replacement. However, nothing could’ve compensated for the bad taste and my accomplice decided to forgo that offer. The mains were a huge thumbs down here. Course 07: Desserts Christmas Pudding, Brandy Custard Glaze, Baileys’ & Raisins Crème Brule & Traditional Yule Log The Desserts comprised a trio of samplers which Boy Ohh Boy… was I excited to try out. Like an overtly excited kid eager to bite in a mouthful of the Pudding baked on Christmas Day I awaited their arrival & the patience was well rewarded I could say. The frown on my friends face soon turned into a smile that could well work for a Toothpaste Ad :P. The two of us enjoyed each dessert to the very last crumb. A sure shot winner here must I say. Service: 3.5 The service was immaculate and our host for the day was well versed with the Menu, it’s Courses which does receive a thumbs up. The only goof up though was that we were not served water until the 06th Course. That too after having candidly asked for a refill did it dawn upon our host that the glass had ne& ver been inverted it hadn’t been served in the first place. ;) Nonetheless better luck next time. V.F.M: 3.5 Us having tried a specially curated menu that was charged at a nominal price of Rs:1300/- AI for 07 Courses it did feel V.F.M. Having said that I wouldn’t be able to say much for the A La Carte Menu though. If I were to be charged a Rs:500/- ++ for the Pasta or the I would definitely not cough up those amounts for what we were offered. With that being an exception this place definitely deserves a visit for it’s many +ves which overlook the fewer –ves. I am sure that they would be ironed out in the months to come and we’d have another place to look out for when a thought of savouring some European Fare does cross our minds.

Good food doesn't taste wonderful with horrible behaviour. Not from chefs at the least. I would suggest stay far away from this place if you're looking for a pleasant experience. Spoilt our evening with the restaurant flouting all basic rules of providing respect to guests along with jumping all the rules of small plates week that we were so looking forward to. Long way to go guys.

I don't usually travel to Phoenix marketcity kurla, considering the inconvinient locality. I did today. After a brief shopping stopped by Craft Deli Bistro Bar for an early dinner, instead of going to the trusted Aromas cafe or 212. The place is superbly well made and the staff was courteous, quick and warm. Ordered for Onion rings (which were over cooked and left a bitter aftertaste), cumin Mojito (which was the best I've ever had) and Asian Spice Pizza! On my second slice bite, I topped some oregano and chilli flakes and for a second saw something moving on my pizza slice; I looked away and thought instantly hold on,! Something's MOVING on my pizza slice !!!!! Guess what A LIVE INSECT !!!!!!!!! A living moving creature on my pizza slice!! It wasn't something like it must have fallen ON it but it was IN BETWEEN the pizza bread and toppings, ALIVE !! The manager immediately took it away when I alarmed him about this and left me with no time to click a picture of it! I was disgusted and still am with the thought of it !! Had a terrible experience and still am disgusted! Ohh I do have a picture of the pizza before eating it (thanks to snapchat) which is going up now! Please don't do this to ur guests!
