A good family restaurant for south Indian dishes. Airconditioned and good ambience. Food is full of variety with hot and cold drinks. Food is very tasty. Service is good. Usually crowded and waiting on the weekend. Due to space, tables are small and in between space is also small. Roadside parking availability depends on traffic on road..

I went with my friend for dinner. This place serves really nice and tasty South Indian food. Also this place has shifted to nearby so keep that in mind. Food is really good plus the hygiene is also nice. As this place is popular keep in mind there will be crowd. Also all the items are good and tasty. Also the staff is friendly.

Great place to explore the South Indian breakfast options. You can get similar vibes as in Ramashraya. Must try their rava onion mysore masala dosa amd filter coffee.
Travel Clever (Travel Guide)
Another place for a perfect and sumptuous breakfast. A good and well maintained place with quick and prompt service. They are popular for serving a variety of authentic South Indian food.
The food is always served piping hot here. Well, we tried a few unique dishes from their menu like thaat Idli, biscuit rava and assorted uttappams. All the three dishes were unique.
Thaat Idli was topped with mollagapodj and coriander and served with chutneys and piping hot Sambhar. Always ask for their red chutney. It is very tasty.
Biscuit Rava is small crispy Dosas filled with cheese and salad.
Assorted uttappams were awesome. Small uttappams with different toppings. Masala Uttappam was my favourite.
This place is located opposite Matunga railway station.
Had an amazing time having breakfast here.

One of the awesome and delicious 😋 South Indian food I have eaten here. They served the food in the proper traditional way on banana leaf 🌿. We have eaten few items all are up to the mark.
Appey (4 ⭐ out of 5)
Appam (5 ⭐ out of 5)
Spring dosa (3.5 ⭐ out of 5)
Uthappa (4 ⭐ out of 5)
Pineapple sheera (5 ⭐ out of 5)
Filter coffee (5 ⭐ out of 5)
We have spent around 700 rupees for all these items.
The only challenge is this place is very crowded hence, you have to wait for around 20 minutes.
Eshwar Pisalkar
Heard of this place for its south indian cuisine, so we tried:
1. Rawa Masala Dosa- Awesome
2. Pineapple Sheera-lovely
3. Appe- Okay could have been better
4. Pav Bhaji- Okay
5. Filter coffee-Must try
Overall taste was good and considerably affordable as well.

First of all when you enter the place it feels like you have entered a temple the vibes are very clean relaxing and the fragrance of camphor is magic.
The food is authentic, fulfilling and tasty
The sambar and chutney is beautiful and very descent cooked.
The flavours are very subtle.
I had masala dosa and idli
Idli was very soft and tasty in itself
And the dosa was bit oily but tasty and properly cooked.
Over-all I enjoyed the food will recommend for family and friends
The price point according to the ambience and quality of food is fair

It is situated near Matunga CR station east. Finding is little difficult because it is in the inner lane. Moreover the sitting arrangement is very weird vey unorganized structure of the building. Coming to food, service cost; Food was good, service was very good but the amount charged by this restaurant is higher as compared to other restaurants nearby. We had ordered rawa Masala dosa, mysore Masala dosa, filter coffee and pineapple shira. From these items mysore Masala dosa had an average taste rest all were good. Service was very good!!!!

The person at the billing counter is rude and non cooperative. I am a regular at two of their branches - Chembur and Matunga, I had asked the waiter to take back the Tawa pulao as it was undercooked but the explanation we got was that yes it is undercooked and we will not do anything about it. Have decided to stick to their south Indian menu only - which is sadly, pretty good.

Awesome place to taste the best south Indian cuisine. We ordered mini idlis, tomato uttapa ,masala dosa, paniyaram and rice sambhar . Every dish was the best in taste highly recommended.Filter coffee was icing on the cake .So refreshing.Service was so quick despite of having so much crowd for Sunday lunch .Worth visiting.

The taste seems to be unchanged from other chain restaurants which are fabulous to experience. Excellent options available clean ambience you might have wait for your turn as well . Coffee is just perfect.

We tried the following
👉Onion and Tomato Uttapam
👉Mini Rasam Idli
👉Masala Dosa
👉Filter coffee

Matunga's Arya Bhavan has a new outlet at Nariman Point and it is just as delicious as its older sibling. It is run by the popular caterer "Muthuswamy" and has a fan following of its own. The menu has enough variety and it is their no-nonsense approach to dining and quick service that people appreciate. Do not expect any non veg dishes since they are strictly vegetarian. They specialize in fast food and south indian cuisine. Mysore Masala Dosa' and 'rasam idlis are popular picks. Their Filter Coffee' is considered to be one of the best in the city.
Well everything we ate was delicious...one of the best south indian food we have had in a long time. The place is quite clean nd service is quick nd courteous. The food is served on a banana leaf. The coffee was superb. We recommend everything. What we had. Overall a great experience. We rate them 4/5.
Viswanathan Sundaresan
Very impressed. Onion Mysore Rava Masala Dosa is a winner, one of the best I've had. The wada could have been crispier. The Dosa, Ghee Roast, chutneys were all good. Filter coffee is another 4 on 5. Overall, absolute thumbs up for this place.

Located on the Ground floor of Dalamal Tower on Free Press Journal Marg, Nariman Point; the famous Matunga restaurant has a branch in town now. We visited few weeks back but we were disappointed with the service and the cleanliness. Food is good. Try their - mysore sada dosa, and rawa buiscuit dosa

I went to Arya Bhavan for breakfast and was fortunate to find a place cos it was quite occupied for a weekday!

EVERYTHING I ate was DELICIOUS.
We ordered rasam wada (favourite!!!), Thaat idli and Mysore masala dosa. This was probably the best South Indian food I had eaten in a long time.

I ended my meal with a filter coffee.

The place was clean, the food was served on a banana leaf in a plate, the service was quick and the staff was very courteous.

I would recommend everything that I ate but I'm sure everything else on the menu will be equally delicious.

Nothing less than 5 stars for Arya Bhavan!

Very slow service, even though restaurant wasn’t full. No wonder it wasn’t hustling on a Sunday night. After our meal was completed, and asking for 4 times, we were served water. Our drink took 20 mins to come and our food was over by then. The rasam had too much salt. The pineapple sheera had some black insect in it. U woudnt miss anything, if u miss eating here 👎

Another Authentic Restaurant! From Rassam to Coin Idli to Sheera... everything amidst this busy ambience is impeccable!!!

Overall. Ambience- 4/5 Food - 5/5 Drink- 5/5 Service - 5/5. Its one of our favourite south indian cuisine joint for breakfast, lunch & dinner... and one of the iconic place If you want to try some authentic south indian dishes this place is a must go. Service is super quick here, Staff is friendly too. Here are few things we recommend from what we have tried. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ •Ghee Podi Dosa- Podi dosa is in the menu but you can say the staff to prepare your dosa in ghee, it tastes heavenly. •Brahmin idli- This dish is pick from arya bhavan speciality, soft steamed idli served with Ghee,Podi, sambhar & chutney. •Thate idli- A must try their signature dish ! •Upma sheera I was never a fan of upma + sheera but this place have made me one now. •Filter coffee •Coffee ice cream •Pineapple & chocolate milkshake ------------------------------------------------------------------------ For more updates & drooling photos and reviews follow us on social media Zomato: Food Epicurean Instagram: Food_Epicurean Facebook: FoodEpicurean Mail ID: foodepicureanforever@gmail.com

Ordered for three plate medu vada sambar but the sambar and chutney provided was just for 1 plate, insanely less quantity. When called the no is switched off. How are you supposed to eat six vadas in just a small quantity of sambar and chutney.
Trippercase
Just loved it recommended to everyone even if you don’t like South Indian food you will fall in love
Fast service
The Belle And The Blog
Best place for good, hygiene South Indian food. Love their varieties of dosas, favourite being the podi rava masala. The masala is beautifully seasoned and not just chunks of boiled potatoes! Excellent quality!
BOMBAEPICURE
This place served AUTHENTIC SOUTH INDIAN FOOD and their food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 😋

The idils and dosas are just so amazing . The idli melts in your mouth the moment you have it and the dosas are super crispy and the filling is super delicious ⭐💥

HIGHLY RECOMMEND -THAAT IDLI , RAVA MASALA DOSA , BHRAMIN IDLI , PANNIYARAM
Dhiren Kapadia
While the idli’s, sambhar, chutney etc. taste amazing, the hygiene is very substandard. On more than one occasion, I’ve noticed small cockroaches running up the restaurant walls or near the wash basin area (that is within the dining area). It only makes you wonder what the situation is within the kitchen and particularly when the lights go off every night.
Shubhi Ahuja
The rasam in the rasam rice was really tasty. However, i wish they had mixed the two. The quantity of rasam was less compared to the rice. The papadam given was tasty. They also gave a Vegetable, which was okay. Honestly, I would have just liked some more rasam.

Have visited their Matunga outlet enough times. Will try their dosas etc. too. The food was very well packay.
Ranjanamaheshwari
The bummer was that there was a cockroach on the table while we were eating wondering if there are any checks done by BMC

This place is usually very crowded but service is quick and you can get a table within 15 minutes or so

Coin butter idli is a must try for idli lovers...they r just melt in your mouth types. Dosas are the best in town, great quality and taste. Rawa dosa is made to perfection, nice n crisp, which is my favourite. If you like South Indian food, this is the go to place. Only thing i got disappointed with was the bill. They charged me 35 bucks for extra butter which I didn't order at all. Trusted them so didn't check the bill till I got back home😔

the name which is famous in Matunga is now opened in Nariman Point too. Dont miss their mysore sada dosa, pineapple sheera, rawa buiscuit dosa .

Arya bhavan is the next new favorite spot for twonies for all the south indian food.lovers.
They serves varities of dosas, idlis, pavbhaji, sandwiches, beverages. Thaat Idli was something different and a typical south indian dish. It's one big soft Idli which is later separated into pieces and served with pudi chutney spread all over it. Overall, something delicious and worth trying.

Mendu vada tasted really good. It was crispy, not hard to chew neither oily. The coconut chutney and sambhar were good in taste. A typical blend of south indian flavours.

Jain mysore masala dosa was worth it. It was crispy, soft and mysore masala prepared in jain style was just amazing. One must try mysore dosa that too in jain style. Very rare to find such a tasty jain mysore dosa in a restaurant.

This place won me! Everything I tasted was a bite of flavours. I went there with colleagues for lunch. I would say the four bang on points for me were
1) variety of food - not overly done but enough options to think what you should have.
2) value for money - it is fairly priced. You can have a great meal under 1000 bucks with your 5 friends.
3) staff - courteous, good in service and suggest good options .
4) yum taste - the food is really flavourful and served fresh.

Now what I had

Ghee roast mini idli : my worry was that it will ooze out ghee and would be overly done but it was in perfect amount. It was soft and fresh. The podi was fine and not very spicy. My recommendation is for this.
Appam with stew : it was fine. Not wow but good. The stew was right on place for me. It was not at all sweet.
Mysore masala dosa : perfect! You can order in case you are a less experimental person
Palak dosa : I am a spinach lover and the dosa was perfectly crisp and tasted yum. Recommending this too.
Tawa pulao : 5 stars for this. It’s not very spicy like people serve commonly. The raita was also nice.
Pineapple Keshri: you cannot leave arya bhawn without leaving this. It is perfect and you have to sooth your taste buds with this. A recommendation for this too.

I will definitely visit again

I ordered 2 orders of Pav Bhaji with one extra pav, what i got is a small container of bhaji and 4 pav . the order is one pav bhaji and one extra pav, I called Arya Bhavan they sais they put both the 2 orders in one container and for the extra pav he had no explanation,
this restaurant is giving very less quantity in comparison with what they give in the restaurant. please take this restaurant out of your listing.

Arya Bhavan located on the free press road is a good destination for South Indian dishes complemented by its ambience. Anyway service can be better

One of the best places in town for authentic South Indian food. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and it's hard to decide the best dishes. I highly recommend the Kanchipuram idli, palak paneer dosa and butter idli. The chutney, sambar and mulgaipodi is lip smacking. The service is super quick, staff is friendly and the place is hygienic. They have the best filter coffee in South Mumbai. An ideal place for a quick bite and breakfast.
Here's something special that I made for Arya Bhavan- hand made illustration.

Horrible experience at Hotel Arya Bhavan - Nariman Point. Found a cockroach in the food I had ordered.

I went to this place today, 3rd September 2019 after one of my colleague had recommended to come here and have their authentic south Indian food. I reached at the hotel at around 2:00 pm and ordered for Lemon Rice however they did not had it ready and had to prepare it for it. So I was thinking that I am lucky to get freshly cooked lemon rice, however they took almost 25 minutes to get it on my table.

Once i got the order, I had eaten almost 5 - 6 spoons of lemon rice and I saw a small insect like thing lying in there. When I had a closer look, i realized that it was a small cockroach. I immediately called the waiter and showed it to him but he had nothing to say to me. He took the plate and was waking away and said that he would get it replaced for me. Somehow this incident made me feel nauseous and so I had lost my appetite. I informed the cashier about the incident but he barely listened to me as he was busy talking to someone on phone. He told me that I need not pay anything and so I walked out.

After this incident, I have made up my mind to not to ever return to this eatery and have also informed my colleagues about this incident and have asked them to avoid going there or at least be cautious before eating anything at Arya Bhavan.
The best South India food I have had in Mumbai until now. The food is really amazing. Authentic South Indian taste. It's very very pocket friendly. 6 people with their bellies completely full would cost you only 1500/- approx. That's really great! The best I liked in their menu is idiyappam with coconut stew, Mysore dosa and Brahmin idli. By the way they look really cute! In a nutshell it's a great place to take your friends for a hearty meal.

I have been ordering food regularly since last few months. Quality of food getting decreased. Today I ordered breakfast through Zomato, they sent a wrong order and put blame on Zomato. Correct order was informed to them and they said they'll have the same delivered. Order was delivered kn another 1 hour and 20 mins but again wrong order. So.. I'm sure that earlier mistake was of restaurant not Zomato.
Restaurant still tried to defense themselves saying Zomato valets comes inside the restaurant and picks up wrong orders, doesn't listen to anyone.
Wjen asked for refund, they said u have pid to Zomato and ask them for refund. Worst attitude.
Regards
Mani

📣⭐Being a south Indian food lover all you want is to try all different authentic South Indian outlets nearby. So, I did the same started from dakshinayan then to Madras Cafe and now here! All were fabulous! 📣⭐

🖇🎬I have been twice to this place! Once for breakfast and then again for dinner!! Loved by locals, one of my favourites on their menu is thatte Idli, the plate sized Idli served with ghee and gunpowder on top was something which I had for the first time! 🎬🖇

▪ Here I started with :

⏹ 🍽 Ragi masala dosa 🍽- It was different from the normal masala dosa. The batter was made up of Ragi / Maize. The taste was too good. Colour as compared to any other dosa was dark in brown and was crispy.

⏹ Then came 🍲 thatte Idli 🍲- as described earlier this was something which I had for the first time.

⏹ 🍚Brahmin Idli🍚- The glass shaped Idli was again something different. Served with ghee, gunpowder ,chutney and Sambhar. You need to mix ghee and gunpowder and then cut Idli in two piece and apply that mixture on it.

⏹ 🍽Mysore Masala dosa 🍽 - Normal but crispy. Taste was again good.

⏹ 🍥 Appam podi 🍥- something more like plain uttupam which was served with stew coconut or avial and chutney. It was OK.

⏹ 🍚Bisi Bela bhat🍚 - served with Papad and Raita. This was something always in top of my to-do list in any south Indian restaurant. It was awesome.

⏹ And then at last came ☕ filter coffee ☕ - In one word was 'PERFECT'.

▪ Whether to start a day or end the same. Best place in is .

▪ 💹 Overall I would rate it 5/5 .

I have just now ordered curd rice from the restaurant. I found 3 ants in it. It was a awful experience. Not only I had to leave the food also my money got wasted

We wanted to have coffee. But for only a coffee and just because the place was full, the manager told us that there's no place for us instead of allowing us to wait! Ridiculous attitude!

I avoid writing negative reviews unless the situation really calls for it. Sorry to say this but there was hair in my dosa. The food tasted well and the packaging was intact but hygiene is foremost. Please work on it!

Super quick service, delicious food and happy ambiance. Authentic south India food. Bright and happy ambiance. Friendly staff. Filter coffee is must try.

Been here twice - excellent south Indian food. Maintains the high standards of the Matunga outlet. Thaath idli, masala uttapam / assorted mini uttapam and extra-crispy mysore sada dosa are my favorites here.
The filter coffee could be better though. Tastes more like nescafe made south-Indian style.
Sana Damani
South Indian food ka khazana, they have such unique menu options! Assorted Uttapam and Idli with coconut stew were my personal favourite, and their cocunut chutney is to die for!
Sumita
An authentic outlet for South Indian food. Ordered breakfast item. While the food tastes good( not exceptional), didnt find it value for money. The portions for sambhar and chutney are also less. So you end up ordering separately for them.
Madhurima Nandamuri
I had visited this place after high recommendations from friends and the place very well lived upto it.
If you are a fan of south indian food, u will love it and if u are not a fan of south indian food, this place will make u fall in love with it.
It's an amazing place serving authentic, delicious and lip smacking south Indian food with great service at very pocket friendly prices.
The rasam vada is a must have, the flavoursome rasam is to die for, we also had spring dosa and rava Mysore masala dosa, both were made to perfection and last but not the least, the chutneys, they are out of this world!!!!!
Overall, a great family restaurant with great food and service with very reasonable prices.

Arya Bhavan is a little restaurant tucked away in a portion of Nariman Point which caters to a delicate palette. Definitely try the Milk Upma and the Ghee Podi Idli. Their sambhar and rasam are continental versions of South Indian food. Definitely worth visiting.
Vikram
As authentic as it gets - simple place with great food (the owners are from MADURAI) tried the mini Idlis with sambhar - outstanding soft Idlis and very tasty sambhar - not the Udupi style that people in Mumbai maybe used too

Pineapple sheera very good with large pieces of the fruit and good amount of ghee thrown in

Ended with some strong filter coffee / what a meal / keep it going Muthuswamy and team !!
Richa
I tried the rawa masala dosa. Really tasty and healthy ....the sambhar and chutney was also flavourful. Good option to try for South Indian food which is both authentic and moderately expensive
TheMumbaiTaste|Janhavi
I recently visited Arya Bhavan, and had the opportunity to try out the authentic South Indian dishes, out of which that caught my taste buds was Thaat Idli. It is a combination of steamed idli topped with karampodi masala and aroma of ghee served with two chutneys and sambhad. Next whenever you get a chance to visit her do try this dish.
Poorvaja Sundar
Really not worth it. The batter was so sour and over fermented. The bill was so jacked up. And the washroom has COCKROACHES. Please don’t visit. When we complained, they just plain ignored us.
Kinjal Kadakia
One of the best places in town for authentic south indian food. Their rasam wada and pineapple sheera is a must try. Also not to forget the very typical filter coffee.
Vipasha Bhardwaj
Mouthwatering and finger licking food.. tried for the first time from zomato and couldn’t resist from trying again.. ordered thrice in a row thereafter .. far better dan the famous cafe madras..
Nitin Oza
The first thing in any Restaurant is serving water. Especially Udipi Restaurants have courtesy to serve water first. Here empty glasses are kept and Bisleri bottle is kept on the table. One will think instead of serving they have kept bottles and guest should self serve water. Nobody will imagine that it is chargeable (though at MRP). The idea of force selling water for brand like Muthuswamy is really surprising. So far as food is concerned, taste changes outlet wise.
Suruchi Jethalia
Buzzing place for a monday afternoon....packed for lunch scenes....lovely food...nice South Indian vibe...the food is authentic and totally worth the indulgence...I enjoyed the lunch throughly...service was a little slow...great variety...would visit again to try the options they offer..try the ghee podi Idli and tatt Idli are my current favorites from the place
Sandeep Samtani
Had a good and filling breakfast at Arya Bhavan this morning. Started with the Idli Sambar. Very tasty but I felt the idli could have been more soft. This was followed by the Masala Dosa. As good as it can be. Flushed it down with their filter coffee. Finally for dessert had their famous Sheera. This was good too. Superb service and decent ambience( can’t go there for the ambience, only for the food). The only reason haven’t given a 5/5 because Muthuswamys catering food is far better than his restaurant food.
Mehul Ved
Came to this place after reading the reviews that this place is better than Matunga. Saying that I am disappointed would be an understatement. They didn't even give us a menu card. We had to keep calling the waiters to take order. They forgot to get our coffee. The dosas were soggy and not prepared properly. Not coming to this place again.

Second visit was at non-peak hour and the food as well as service was much better.
Sunita Menon
Worst experience.. an order for 22 persons was completely messed up by the restaurant despite having given advance intimation. First Zomato experience completely gone wrong
Interiorarchitect.mehhek
Went there with my toddler, very unhygienic- dirty tables, waiter gargling in the handwash basin for customers, hair in the chutney. Overly priced certainly not value for money. Huge expectations from the famous caterer but very disappointed.
Soham Rajguru
Ambience is good. Food is good but not great as worth the bucks. Customer Service is worst(1 star for this). They don't seem doing there works. Also the menu uploaded here is quite old. Prices are far more increased than shown here on zomato.

This place serves amazing South Indian ( non Udupi ) food . Which means sambar is not sweet , idli is not made of rawa. Their dosas are amazing too. Now I’m not talking about cheese dosa noodles dosa etc . I’m talking about the real deal . Service is decent , prices are a little high but quality is top notch .

High class veg restaurant. Situated in a busy area and the restaurant being not big, its always crowded. Hence expect a delayed service. The food was really good and worth the price paid.

Even if the restaurant is amazing with food, the customer service and experience is one of the bad ones I have ever witnessed.
After being done with my meal I ordered some food for takeaway. The unscrupulous attendants decide to clean the restaurant and rather than let me be seated at the table ask me get up and wait for my food. And this is when the restaurant is empty.
After getting upset and asking them if this is the way customers get treated not a word of apology or even to say that we have made a mistake.
Wonder how businesses in the service industry survive with bad attitude.

We have frequented most of the matunga restaurants for mostly breakfast.
Despite been open for more then six months in south mumbai, we were unaware & could have saved loaded of fuel.
Tried Thaat Idli, Cheese paniyarman, they were awesome. Veg uthapam was great too but my wife going through mood swings said it's okay.
Rose sabza ice cream was yum(not too sweet or fragrant)

An overrated and overhyped place..always crowded and not very hygienic or clean.. the food quality is average. Tried the following dishes (jain version)
1. Paniyaram 3/5
2. Rava biscuit dosa 4/5
3. Mysore sada dosa 2.5/5
4. Spring dosa 2.5/5 this one had cabbage and cheese instead of noodles
5. Moong dal dosa 3/5 ( wasnt dosa.. but an uttappa)
6. Assorted uttappa platter.. 2/5 all the uttappas tasted the same with burnt coriander! No variation at all!
-Which south indian restaurant provides only coconut chutney along with all their dishes.. expected two- three different types of chutneys!
-The cheese was raw and none of the dishes had any melted cheese inside.
-The Sambhar was salted.. no sweetness at all..
-Overall this place was a disappointment!
-Visit only if you are working near by and want to grab a quick and healthy meal..as south indian preparations barely take any time to arrive!
-There are surely better restaurants in the city that serve good south indian food!

The most happening south indian kannada style restaurant nearby office. And yes i am a regular now. Taste and price are a win win combo. Don't forget to try as many dishes. Filter coffee, lemon rice, mysore dosa and various types of idlis. Service is the best and you will come back again and again.

Ordered their Pongal , loved the taste of ghee fried cashews and whole peppercorns with mash-like consistency of the rice. The coconut chutney was also very flavourful with crunchy fried urad dal and curry leaves. However quantity is a little on the lower side

We went on a holiday and got parking. Idlies were very soft and firm. Dosas were crispy and the Pongal was amazing. Coffee was good too. Would go back every day if I could.

A traditional South Indian restaurant. The items ordered were all too good. Lastly, not to forget to have hot coffee. Overall, a very good place.
My wife and I have spent nearly half a decade in Tamil nadu.....and consequently have eaten south Indian good all over the country.
But that morning, when we stepped out for brunch in south Mumbai.....We had what I can only describe as a dream gastronomic experience.
We went to arya bhawan at nariman point.
We followed the advice of Praveen, who took or orders, and BOY are we glad we
did
We had THREE different varieties of Idli....nellai , brahmin idli and kancheepuram idol
The nellai idli was to die for
And the FOUR cups of coffee we had was evidence to the blissful authenticity of the fleet coffee.
I live in Chandigarh.....And believe me....I WOULD make a SPECIAL trip to Mumbai JUST to eat at Arya Bhawan again !!!

The food was decent... Clean packaging and ok in taste .. But the service was ridiculous. I ordered a Dosa and chaas... But when I received the order, chaas was missing. When I called them up, they accepted the fact that they had sent my chaas with some other order but they can't do anything about it now as they didn't have any delivery boy (I am just about a km away!!). Though Zomato refunded the money I paid for the Chaas, I really expected a higher level of professionalism from the restaurant. If they can't get a simple order right, they need not be in the delivery business and keep it only for walk-ins.

Amazing, almost authentic South Indian super fast food.
Great staff, okay ambience.

Rasam vada - Rasam was flavousome and vada was fresh and soft.

Sambar - was pretty good too

Thaat idli - Was great.

Spring dosa - tried it on their suggestion. Wasn't bad, but different...I think going with authentic classic dosas would be a better bet.

Filter coffee - was good but not strong or fragrant..not the best I have had, can be improved.

Food -5/5
Speed -6/5
Staff -4/5

A must visit if you are in nariman point!

The taste of the masala is just perfect.

Spring dosa - was loaded with veggies & cheese. A perfect combination to fil your stomach

Thaat idli - A bigger version of idli spread with gun powder on top of it, served with two chutneys and sambhar.

Anando Milk - Paan Kolkatawala & Tropical Coconut. If you are a fan of South Indian Food then this is the place for you, it has the best south Indian food in town. The service is extremely quick, I have been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. One should try the Rawa Mysore dosa, sada dosa, rasam wada, idli pudi, pav bhaji, upma, masala dosa, coffee, and orange juice. This place is very hygienic.

Been to Arya Bhavan a few months back and its been one of the best experiences both food and services for any restaurants. Their service is amazingly fast and friendly as well and the food is very delicious. You must try their dosas and sambhar dipped idlis and remember to end with a Filter Kapi which is a must. They are Jain Friendly as well so most of their dishes can be served for people who do not eat Onion Garlic and Potatoes.

Good food, same consistent experience as the original in matunga, and this location seems to have much more seating. Deliciously addictive filter coffee!!

With the help of Google maps we were able to find this place located inside a complex. Well this place serves pure vegetarian only . There's no way that we came here and didn't have the filter coffee 😍 it's definitely a must try here

Ive visited 4-5 times since it opened at Nariman Point. Their Rava Dosa & dosa in general is fine. Their sambhar is actually good. But the idli was raw. Inspite of asking for it to be changed , the replacement was again the same. The 1st few times their pav bhaji was nice, but my last visit in Jan 2019, the Pav had so much butter in it, it got soggy !!! The rava dosa which i initially liked, had big pieces of green chilies instead of chopped ones as usually done. Expectations were high, but ive been let down big time.

Went on Saturday night 5th January 2019. 10.30pm, server was like order fast will not accept order after 11, but saw some people enter even after 11 pm and ordering, food was very good, little more price, quantity was good. Jain Food, Had Mysore Masala Dosa , Bhaji Dosa , Idli, pineapple sheera, Overall very good. Enjoyed. Surely place to be visited for south indian food. Famous for Break fast.

Visited this place along with a colleague for lunch.
The space and ambiance was really good.
Coming to food, we ordered idli sambhar which i think was thaat idli and had 6 idlies dipped in sambhar bowl.
For dosas, we ordered palak paneer masala dosa and pav bhaji dosa..
All three dishes were really good. The sambhar and chutney was really fresh and tasty..
The service was quick as well. Overall a really great experience. Would like to try out other dishes soon..
Swaraj Singh

If you are a south indian food fan and want to have really good taste than this is your place. Drawback which I mentioned in my review of arya bhavan, matunga is been taken care of at this place. Its a perfect place for dosa idli lovers.

Really good food and service.. A Must try is the Rava biscuit dosa.. The sambhar needs improvement in taste but the chutney’s were excellent.
