Review Kailash Parbat Restaurant - Mumbai

Book My Hunger
This is a Pure veg outlet located at the Oberoi mall food court on 3rd floor, we tried here is ragda pattie and it is good to taste.
Mighty Mak
Tried the Sev Puri and Bhel Puri in Chaat and they turned out to be yummy. Service was quick and the portion was good.

I had been to Oberoi Mall to watch a new movie with my colleagues& after the movie we decided to have some food, so we moved to the Food court & took food for Kailash Parbat. The food was really very good. Great recommend and you should try once when you are at the food court in mall
Alex
Tried their veg Hyderabadi biryani. It was tasty and price reasonable (290 INR). the rice came with some onions and yogurt on the side.

This Kailash Parbat is located right at the center of the food court in Oberoi mall. The interiors are delightfully clean and the hygiene is well maintained as we found. Now coming to the actual order we had initially thought of ordering the veg combo meal. But another person next to us had ordered the same combo thali and we found the quantity of the meal really less, to be honest, compared to the cost of the thali (Rs. 284). So then we decided that rather than that it would be better to order a Chole Bhature combo which contains a glass of buttermilk, a Small portion of fries, 2 pieces of bhature and a bowl of chole. But again here we ran into a problem with the outlet manager saying that fries are not available. Hence, we decided on buying the normal Chole Bhature itself. Now coming to the chole bhature, the taste of the chole was wonderful. A bit on the spicier side though but the chole was nice and soft. The 2 pieces of bhatura's they served were really good to big and soft with steam emanating from inside the bhatura's. Rather the size of the bhatura's was bigger than the plate itself. And they served freshly chopped onions, a piece of lemon with the order. All in all the taste was really nice. Other than these they serve various types of chat items, parathas, and many other combos. The only thing we felt was the speed of service could have been improved but none the less the food tasted nice. Try once. You won't be disappointed...

The chain of food outlets which is tried and trusted over the years which is why people go to this outlet whenever they want some spicy taste in their mouth. It is on the 3rd floor, staff is adequate and is polite. Service is fast. We had ordered dahi Puri which was good in taste. Enjoyed it. Looking around you will find this outlet has smallest area which is usually not seen in other malls. When in doubt about chat counters, visit Kailash Parbat and you will be satisfied. Their Pani Puri is awesome in taste, I would like to rate it second best in Mumbai after Elco. Sitting arrangement and lighting in food area is nice and enjoyable. Place to visit again and again.
The Gourmet Deli
Kailash Parbat is the best place to have Chole Bhature in Mumbai. Chole-Bhature isn't just food. It's one of man's greatest accomplishments. And certainly one of his most pleasurable experiences 😍 A bite of the bhatura , just the right size, oozing with chole is pure decadence. The flavours burst in your mouth, hot at first, tangy after and by the time you've swallowed, your mouth is dripping wet 😋😋 Check us out on instagram @thegourmettdeli

This happens to be the most chosen place by me to have chaat items. It being in the food court of Oberoi mall is a good place to eat Various dishes. I would recommend chaat items, Chole bhature and their desserts . They have great offers too This place is Extremely good as well as the service is !
The place is hygienic as well as affordable.
Like any other Kailash parbat outlets this one too tops in everything.

My son and husband got diarrhoea after eating the meal here. I did not eat that and I was spared. It was horrid.

Kailash parbat in place on oberio mall. I have ordered here chole bhature. Chole bhaji was very spicy and testy the quality and quantity was very good. Perfect Service is also quick and awesome. All indian, south indian food lovers must visit this place.

We were literally craving for some Indian delicacy at 4pm. Thats when we found our saviour Kailash Parbat. Decided to try out their Paneer Lababdar sabzi with Rotis. Have to agree, we were not expecting that the quantity of the food for such a decent price would be huge😍 Although Paneer Lababdar lacked some spiciness, the pieces of Paneer were very soft! We totally loved it! Also the size of the rotis were so huge that our cravings got satisfied in no time!

P. S - Do try their Chole Bhature. They are one of the bests in town🤤

My Rating

Food - 🤩🤩🤩
Service - 🤩🤩🤩

Bhanu Nadar
Ordered chole bature combo 300₹, the quantity was very less and was served with fries. The fries were like potato bhaji. The taste was good of chole and batture but this place is overly priced.

Today I ordered special thali costing Rs.370/- and one plane paratha costing Rs.80/- ..
Food was pathetic, no taste , burnt papad..paratha was as thin as papad ,cold rice...

Total thali was not worth even Rs.100/-

The quality of food at kailash parbat is getting worse day by day...
Only brand name will not help, if you do not maintain quality...
Just a consolation that Gulab jamun was good..

Kiran

Vageesha Taluja
Was super hungry, so tried chole bhature. It is sufficient for two people and a bit spicy for me, which can be ignored. The quality was not compromised. Worth it.
Krisha Koradia
The jain food over here is so pathetic... Actually medicine would even taste better than the chole and pav bhaji...also the service is intolerable. I had asked what all is available in jain... So the person told pav bhaji and chole bhature... So i ordered both whereas someone came after me while i was waiting over there for my order ordered jain tawa pulao and that person took the order... I felt like a fool standing over there... The staff was pathetic and the food was even worse. I've never had such tasteless and boring food in my entire life.
Rush23
Heard about it a lot... And it's not bad as well. It's good place, the food is good. The quantity is nice. If you want to eat some nice Indian food you can try Kailash Parbat.
Sejal Doshi
Extremely disappointed with the brand name it enjoys.

Ordered Jain Chole Bhature combo - the staff was adamant to substitute non-Jain item with Jain one.

In addition, the taste of Chole Bahture was extremely pathetic. Never had this sort of worst experience at Kailash Parbat earlier.

Would have to think twice before visiting again.
Jaya Bachhuka Waskar
KB is now only a name...i did not have a good experience in terms of food quality & taste. Talking about their once upon a time famous chole bhature...bhaturas are quite big but the quantity of chole is so less. Moreover the taste is also not that good like before.
Kalash Jain
Very very expensive food.
Compare to price food portion is not enough and value for money.
Taste is good.
Hygiene and Food serving container/plates are of high quality.

My experience at Kailash Parbat has always been good. We had chole bhature and a mini meal. A glass of buttermilk is served along with both the dishes.

Chole bhature 4/5
Spicy chole served with 2 big freshly prepared bhaturas. Small fries and a glass of buttermilk is served on the side.

Mini meal-4/5
You can choose a gravy, you can either opt for mix veg or paneer. The meal has 1 roti , rice , gravy, dal , pickle , onions , buttermilk.

The food is good and the service is quick. I usually choose this outlet if I am eating at food court and I want a complete meal.

Pathetic counter staff...specially the billing guy. Loads of attitude. They act like they r selling Amrit.
This was the second time i had argument with the billing person.

We were in oberoi mall and decided to try their renowned chole bhature. At the very first glance, my eyes popped out as the combo was for 300 INR. But, still we decided to order it. Two big bhaturas are served with chole, freshly chopped onion, french fries and chaas. The meal was utterly delicious. And the quantity is enough for two. Loved the chole. I would highly recommend it!!!

Damsel Conquering Distress
Finally tried their famous chole bhature the other day while shopping in oberoi....the bhature were huge and bit oily while chole were decent enough...though it lacked the chatpata swaad of north indian chole bhature...but overall it was okay....won't recommend having it everytime as its definitely gonna bloat you...

Hello, 😊 we had our recent visit to this outlet Kailash Parbat at Oberoi Mall.
You can find this outlet almost at every mall.
We wanted to have thali a good one
So planned to have it over here!
What they gave us in thali was 3 roti instead of biryani(if you skip a biryani you get a roti)
Paneer ki sabzi
Mix vegetables sabzy
Dal
1 glass of Chaas
1 gulab jamun🙈❤️
1 papad
And some onions &chillis

The overall experience of thali was not soo good
The sabzi was damn spicy and included less paneer. It was oily.
The dal was okay to have
Chapati was cooked good
Chaas was nice too
Even The gulab jamun 😍👌🏻

I may say you shouldn’t buy thali here instead find a different place
Kailash Parbat is good for chaats❤️
Thankyou 😊

Ratings:-
Food : 2.5/5
Staff : 3/5

Overall ratings:-
3/5

Chole bature is originally a North Indian Dish served with some chole(chole chane ki bhaji) & bature(puris).
Kailash parbat is located in Oberoi Mall,Goregaon East in the food court. The batures served by them were really big, soft & the chole were also nicely cooked little bit spicy.
Ratings:
Chole-4.5/5
Bature-5/5
Last night in Oeroi mall i ordered Thali for approx 300 bucks which has just a Roti and some rice with too little Dal and one Paneer veg which was just like 1/3rd of what we need as a meal . My father and me both felt cheated/fleeced . Dal khichdi used to be earlier good enough for one person , now they have halved the sixe of plate which is not sufficent for appetite of a 12 year old kid also. Absolutely no value for money. Pathetic!

Visited this place this Monday evening ......ordered a Chola Bhatura ......having lived in Delhi few years I can say that it was very average .....to top that there was a hair in the Bhatura .....Disappointed
Neeti & Nishtha
Tried this after a long time and here is my review-

Chollay bhatura - I didn't like the chole at all as it tasted bad (loads of garam masala), as for the bhatura it wasn't really oily and thus decent. Overall I would give this 1.5/5.

Aloo paratha - The aloo paratha was extremely bland but the sides i.e. paneer masala and daal were decent. So I would give this one 2/5.

Ragda pattice - Definitely happy with this one, both the ragda and pattice were tasty. So I would give this a 3.5/5.

Overall an okayish experience. I think they should improve the taste of their paratha though. Also, extremely overpriced. Not worth the money according to me.
Located at the food court of oberoi mall and we ordered the aaloo paratha and that was just so yum! It had 4 triangles of paratha, daal, 2 vegetables, dahi, pickle. It was a paisa vasool. Loved loved loved it❤️ I'm really looking forward to taste more of it

Visited this place on 10 June 2018. When asked for extra spoons, denied stating only 2 spoons are given per dish. Even staff should have been more courteous. Even kitchen was very not hygeine, the way chef was handling the aata flour.
Jitesh Bhadra
It's our go-to place for chaat dishes. They have lots options available for chaat dishes. Ordered Tikki Chaat the other day. It was very well made as always and tasted great.
Savi Srivastava
Kailash Parbat Pani Puri is the best. And Pav bhaji. I have tried their buttermilk as well which is very refreshing. I have tried many Kailash Parbat in town but this one is the best. Do try guys :)
Shriniwas Kadam
Mouthwatering food and the most pleasant staff in the whole food court. Loved it. KP is now my all time go-to for delicious food. Must visit.
Prerna Batra
It's a pocket friendly place, serving paranthas, chhole bhature, biryani etc. The hygeine is well taken care of. The preparation time is less, around 5-7 mins.

There are combos available, like chhole bhature with French fries and chhas. However, the day we went, both french fries and cold drink was unavailable. Some of the sweets in the menu we're also unavailable. The staff is polite. The food was good but not delicious.

Overall Rating -3.3
Mohitbhutda
We had veg combo meal. The amount of sabji and dal was very less, it did not justify the cost for the veg meal combo.
Overall taste was also average.
Kamalpreet Kaur Sokhi
Outing with friends in mall and looking for a proper house meal then go to kailash parbat..
Been many times here and never disappointed so I have to share this..
I had tried veg combo thali, veg biryani, veg hyderabad biryani, Idli Sambhar, lassi, chass and like many things..
It comes in good portion with good taste and at reasonable price..so go for it..
Rima
Pav bhaji and chhole bhature, is my favourite. Although, pani puri is pricy its tasty. Also try their masala chhaas. That good too. Tawa pulao is not that good, dint like that.
Chankey Pathak
Had mini thali. Totally not worth the money. Won't recommend this place. Better to have a burger from nearby burger joints like McD, Burger King etc.
Hetal Kawale
Food quality- Good
Food quantity- average.
Dahi Puri was delicious, lip smacking and the curd was also of good quality.
Pav bhaji was also good but quantity was less so it makes a person little disappointment.
Overall the food items were tasty but the cost of the food items is expensive so it's not pocket friendly.
Max Rahman
Kailash Parbat been a place for me to go for parathas. They got some super yummy ones. I took my friend who arrived from China here for giving her a taste of indian food and she really liked it.

I do feel i need to increase my visit to this chain more and try more stuff.
Ankitaa Mendhekar
The outlet is located in the food court if the mall. This means there is no seperate sitting arrangement. During the peak hours, you will have to move through the crowd to find a place to sit, or worse eat your food like it's buffer.

We ordered the chole bhature combo and the pav bhaji. The bhature in had oil dripping from it (more than usual amount of oil was dripping. Hence the comment.) And the bhaji in the pav bhaji was just tomato puree with some other small amount of vegetables.

The food was okay-ish and there was no ambience as such, what with it being a food court.

Order: Cheese Pav Bhaji and Sweet Lassi

Service: Service was quick and servers were polite 😊 Ratings - 4/5

Quality: Sweet Lassi was really bad since I tasted at Infiniti Mall, Malad outlet! Cheese Pav Bhaji was good but Pav was not fresh! Bhaji's taste was really good! Ratings - 3/5

Overall: They need to have fresh pav! Lassi needs to taste better! They have variety of foods to try out! Ratings - 3/5
Saurabh Raghuwanshi
Had their chola bhatura and pav bhaji, both were ok in taste, chola was too spicy, price wise its decent, its an outlet in mall so you have to sit in the food court so cannot complain about ambience
Harish Kotian
The tawa pulao at this place in Oberoi Mall was not upto the mark... The taste was bland while the rice was a bit hard. Overall a disappointing experience for me
Kshitij Tiwari
Pani puri served was with small flies that was complementary. Staff said it comes by itself. Cant help it. I told them to keep the place clean so a rude staff just shook his head. And then have the balls also to ask if i need a replacement for the same.
Subrojit Chatterjee
Again one more outlet at Oberoi mall. They served food with hair in it. Ridiculous is the word I can use for these outlets. Beware people before ordering. Think twice.

Food quality is really poor. Rice half cooked.

I am not visiting again. Oberoi authorities needs to check & verify please.
Abhi Shah
They serve pav bhaji with tiny metal balls in it.
The staff out there had nothing to say about it.Quality of food is below standard .Pathetic service.
Achyuth Baiju
Went here to try out the pain puri’s . The best part they serve everything separate somyou have an
Option of trying to choose the mixing quantity yourself which is a great thing.
Aditya
Had a pathetic experience. Made a mistake ordering pulao. Was given boiled rice with exactly 4 bean pieces in the plate to call it pulao. Never again!
Pankaj Mannur
Worst food ever. I ordered a Pani Puri they charge 92 Rs. They don't even add ragada to it. They use bundi and potatoes. On top on that I find a hair in the mixture. Worst ever Pani Puri I had in my entire life. Will never go there again for sure.
Arihant Jain
We were hungry after watching movie in oberoi mall and so Ordered chole bhature here. Chole bhature were nice. Also ordered Bhel puri which was nice and tasty.
Laxman
Pathetic veg combo... Waste of money...taste like spoiled veggies in it... The thing which taste good is only papad... Thts it they served terrible food
Onkar Sawant
It's nothing special to review about the food.. Pani puri and chat items are better in taste. Allo paratha, veg biryani, panner makhanwala and roti are kinda average in taste.. It's all about brand name which attracts the foodie ..
Ratings :-
Food- 3.4
Service 3.3 (self-service and it gets delay in evening time)
Ravi Puri
Had a great combination of chat, sev puri ,bhel puri an pani puri. Actually it was stomach filling for two person. If you want to do tp at mall with ur friends then this dish is worth it. ! Recommended once!
SAMINA TAJ Shaikh
For our regular chaat ,chole bhature and pav bhaji food...u must come and have it from here.
Though the pani puri and chaat is off course costlier than any place and additional vat is charged. .it's still tasty and mouth watering.
I tried the chaat combo. ..which has everything pani puri, sevpuri, dahi puri and bhel puri and it was all worth and stomach filling.but even on the combo cost there is your service tax so do confirm and buy everything on mrp
Manish Sharma
Suggest to eat chole bathure here. Except the rates, everything is good. 1 plate is enough to fulfill for tummy hunger. Chat are also good here.

And I have tried all the branches of kailash parbat ❤
They are just amazing, and have even tried everything there on their menu 😋 Everything is just too good and let's not forget these Gol Gappe 😍 it's said the water of Gol Gappa is perfect then everything is perfect 👌

P.S : And the Pudine Ka Paani is just amazing 😎 #MustTryOnce 😊 #EverythingOnTheListIsRecommended ☺

Had been in oberoi mall , worst ever experience having samosa chat.while making it, they threw some potato masala and Some portion of thick coating saying it doesn't fit it's bowl size and not even sorry for the same.the taste wasn't up to its mark. Never thought of such thing at KP. Big disappointment

Located in the oberio mall the food court . Food was the average over here we try the chole and briyani we was average . As the food court service was self service

If you want indian food like chaat and other dishes this is a good place to go. I ordered for an aloo paratha and sev puri. The aloo paratha was served with a dal and 2 veg dishes wand curd which was nice.

Craving for something simple decided to try all veg kailash parbhat. Ordered for veg combo meal which had roti, aloo methi sabzi, paneer kadai, dal, pulav, chaas and gulab jamun. All the elements of the thali were good. And also tried the cholle bature which was also really yummy.
Recommended.
Nikunj Morarka
I guess the cholle bhature is the most famous dish from kailash parbat, i remember it being very tasty but when i recently had the dish it wasn't up to the mark, the bhature was fine but the flavours were missing from the cholle, also the quantity was less.

Having Delhi wali freind had me introduced to this famous chain...The best Pani Puri one can have is always at Kailash Parbat.. #Self Service #Hygienic #SuperTasty #Sweet #Sour #Tangy
:)
Vinay Minocha
Tried their pao Bhaji which was decent though not the best one really. Overall, choice on offer was good, service bit slow and being on the food court, not the best and most exotic experience. Still, will settle for this rating given their heritage and legacy.
Rohit Agarwal
It's getting monotonous.

Well, the joint is getting monotonous. I havent really come across any innovation or changes in the last couple of years. Well, that could be the model.
However, i find a lot of changes in taste on an ongoing basis, especially the Chaats. Be it Pani puri, bhel, Dahi puri, Ragda patties, or the other chaats, they tend to be excellent on a particular day and ordinary on another.
There is no standardisation, thats the biggest issue. The ingredients come out right one day and not so right on another.

However, this place has better Chaats than most of its counterparts

Sakshi Nanavati
Family decided to grab dinner at the Oberoi Mall food court today. Amongst the orders from different tuck shops, KP had to be one. One of the favourite and famous one amongst the family.

Like I said in my previous review of KP, chat and them go hand in hand. Ragda Pattice was superb. Personally what I really enjoyed was the Pav Bhaji. Nicely mashed and masala as per your taste.

I would say KP outlets are a big savior at most mall food court located in Mumbai.
PizzaManiac
Good option to have Veg Indian food and chaat. Got the Paratha meal which comes with two veggies and raita. Paneer sabji was tasty but bit spicy. Just loved the boondi raita that comes along with the meal.
Also got the Hyderabadi Biryani which was quite tasty and filling. This place didn't let me down this time as well.
Abhishek Lingayat
This place serves the indian style food in the food court, i specially eat paneer sabji and roti, and thali, i prefer thali as its small and compact, the quality is good but the prices are too high, i think reducing a bit will make the customers run towards this outlet....the one thry had in kurla phoenix mall is like mouth watering....
Yogesh Kale
KP has lost its charm, once they used to serve good food. Last I ordered their Chole Bhature & it was a huge disappointment. The chole were to spiced not really hot but too much of garam masala I guess.
The paratha meal was also poorly done the parathas were tasteless n very dry.
Aniket Pargaonkar
There's hardly ever been a time when I have passed Kailash Parbat, without having their chole bhature. I think its one the betetr palces in Mumbai which can serve really nice chole bhature. The bhatures were nice and big and crisp and the chole was perfectly spiced. They also have a variety of chaats and snacks. Pricing wise its a tad on the higher side, but the taste is quite good.
Nirupam Garg
Chole bhature and pav bhaji is good but sweet lassi is ok ok..... I live in delhi so i like delhi taste like chat pata so this taste i found in kailash parbat........ Bhature size so big and yummy ........
Hrishi Golatkar
Went in to have cHAAT, so tried chatplstter, which was ok, not so good. Even d quantity was less. Sevpuri was good. The service was quite ok.
Amit Chaudhary
Superb place for yummy bites...vegetarian delight. Best for Chollay Bature, Chaats, and Pav Bhaji. Main course has different variety on different days.
Aditi.kkar
I never think vegetarian food is worth what u pay, but Kailash Parbat takes it to another level altogether!!
For some weird reason we had to have veg food and we thought of having a Pav Bhaaji and a plate of the same with 2 extra pav cost us ₹230😦😦
For a small quantity, tasteless bhaaji and blackened onions, ₹230 was too much. We had only one request that the pav be crispy! And the pav wasnt even heated!! Total disappointment and waste of money!!
Never ever land!!
Meeransrini12
Dahi papdi chat was not worth the money. Not made as per standards by a very busy multitasking attendant boy. will avoid. came for a quick bite before a mtg nearby.

An authentic n yummy food... v v Indian style.. some what like a Maa ke hath ka khana..their combo style is unique n full Paisa vasool.. luv u KP 😎😘😘😘

Just had sweet lassi out here and well it was at par with gold prices ! Really small cup for 85! Quality wise the lassi was good and tasty .

The place has good chaat n chole bhature. The paav bhaji is average .... the dahi bhalle ... mix chaat is yumm... lil close to the delhi flavour of north indian chaat... all in all nice.

The only problem with all kailash parbat outlets no constant taste at all, so is with this one! Tried Chole thrice, tasted difference all times! quantity and service are good! Taste remained a problem always.
But its a good place nonetheless for indian dishes!
Must try: Pav bhaji and chole bhature

Had pavbhaji here... Not to have it here next time.. It was like having crushed and mashed potato bhaji with pav.. Bad first experience.....

Kailash Parbat is located at the Food court area of Oberoi Mall. I always get confused whether to order from here or its direct competitor - shiv sagar :P .. anyways, i ordered a plate of Chole Bhature from here.. it is reasonably priced at 150 odd considering they give two bhatures!.. one suggestion- they should let the customers choose between the two varieties of choles they make- the yellow one and black one. .!
Unlike every other place, the bhatura here was actually not over-flowing with oil, and even the chole was not spicy and perfect for my liking.

U get average indian food and chat here don't know why it is so hyped. The chhole-bhature though are the best to have other dishes are just ordinary. Dahi chat was not so good, i had to waste it. Overall, if you go on a Sunday, the service is poor because the staff cant handle too many orders. But is OK during weekdays. Still, it is better than some of the other joints @ Oberoi mall.

While dining in a food court, you make sure there is variety on the table. We called for chhole bhature and pav bhaji from kailash parbat. The chhole bhature were okay. They lacked the spicy tinge.

Coming to the Pav Bhaji. If there is an Oscar for Good movies and Razzies for the flops and if there was a Razzies for food also, this Pav Bhaji wins the award in the worst pav bhaji ever category - hands down. I cannot really put it in words what it comprised of. You can say it comprised of crap and more crap. Moreover, it was a herculean task to finish the extra plate of pav. Did not dare to try anything more from this place.

Never really understood the hype about this place. Tried several items from here on different occasions and found them all ordinary at best. The Pav Bhaji, on of its most popular items is nothing better than mediocre and costs about 150-odd rupees. The food in no way justifies its price. Give it a miss, there are much better options in the food court.

Kailash parbat : The name just brings backs words like : Chole Bhature, and all variety of chaats.

So we ordered the same stuff
Chole Bhature : Other joints serve better in terms of quality
Pani Puri : Could have been more spicy
Sev Batata Puri : Mind blowing

Service was quick. Staff was friendly. Price wise this place takes you easy on your pockets. A good place to chill out and enjoy your chaats.

The best chola batura that I've ever had. These guys really know how its made. Pav bhaji is not bad either

Even though the food is very popular and their stall in the food court gets lot of business, the hygiene standards of the place are extremely poor. I found a mosquito and strands of hair in my food. Counter people say its a matter of chance. I say this is unpardonable even if it's rare. I have pictures also to show everyone. It was an extremely disappointing experience. This counter should be shut down.

If there is anything that one misses when going to a mall’s food court, after a hectic day of shopping, then it would be some home style masala chai. Most of the places would not have any option to provide you with that refreshing cup of tea. This is where Kailash Parbat comes handy.

The tea at Kailash Parbat is great. It goes well with the chaats available here. Apart from these, Kailash Parbat has an entire gamut of Indian fast food and mains available. I also recommend their chhole bhatura and parathas. Their veg thali combo also seems to be quite popular – I have seen so many people having it – though I have not tried the same.

Overall I would recommend the place for great chaats and tea served here.
