Review Busago - Mumbai

Sayalee Chavan
A definite recommendation. It's a small place with a fairly limited menu, but the food is brilliant. We had Burmese chicken Kaukswe, veg as well as chicken Tibetan momos. One can tell by the unique flavours that each item is carefully crafted. The peach and lemon ice tea are amazing as well.

Had burmese chicken kaukswe! Got it delivered at home. It very amazing.

Recently I had visited here with my foodie friends for lunch. The ambience was small but too cute. The staff was very kind. The food was great in taste and also pocket friendly. We tried the items given in the picture. Busago siganture bowls was the best. Tried both veg and nonveg I would highly recommend you guys to try this place. The food was too yumm! Busago has its branches in: 1. Oshiwara, Andheri West 2. Powai 3. Mulund West 4. BKC 5. Pali Hill, Bandra 6. Mahim 7. Hiranandani Estate, Thane West 8. Inorbit Mall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai (Newly Opened)

A delightful eatery with fantastic service and some of the best meal bowls in Mumbai. Friendly on the wallet, with very large portions as well. The Burmese kaukswe is highly recommended, it comes with noodles and the curry in separate bowls, with a tray of condiments (crushed peanuts, roasted peanuts, fried onions, lemon, coriander, green onions and more). The ambience is very cosy, and staff very attentive. Heads up: if you want to parcel leftovers, there's a 20 rs charge for packing. And there will be leftovers (because the portions are just so generous!)

Rainy Days and Asian Food go hand in hand. It was raining heavily and I didn't want to be at home. I wanted to go out for a meal. Decided on Busago while browsing through Zomato. They have the best Kaukswe (Khow Suey) and I had a craving for that. The closest Busago to me is Oshiwara so visited here for dinner. They also have Zomato Gold on food which is a plus point for me. A pretty big outlet, around 10 tables inside and 2 tables outside. The ambiance is the classic Busago Style with bowls on the wall, menu on their walls and a wall dedicated completely to Kaukswe. I started with some Coconut Nimbu Pani as both are my favorite flavors. The combination seemed a little odd, but then taste wise it was good and refreshing. APPETIZERS Crispy Potatoes : Batter fried, crispy potatoes, tossed in chopped garlic, chillies and coriander and herbs. I asked it to be extra spicy. I am in love with this dish. The smoky flavor of tossing the potatoes in the spices, the crispiness, the hotness, everything was just absolutely amazingly perfect. ** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ** Tibetan Chicken Momos : 6 pieces of Chicken Momos served in the steamer. Chicken cooked perfectly, though less spicy. I had it with the Chibs Chilli sauce and it tasted yumm. MAIN COURSE Vegetarian Kaukswe : Kaukswe or Khow Suey is one of my favorite Burmese dish. It's a one pot meal which contains either rice or noodles, yellow burmese curry with veggies or chicken. Khow Suey also has condiments on the side like peanuts, fried onion, fried garlic, celery, coriander leaves, spring onion greens, chilli flakes and lemon. You take noodles in a bowl, add the curry and add the condiments of your choice in them. I absolutely loved it. Their veggies were very crispy, not soggy and the curry was beautifully flavored. Busago and Khow Suey go hand in hand. ** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ** Red Thai Curry with Sticky Rice : Red Thai Curry is something I had never tried. I always opt for Green Thai Curry. But this time I thought will try red as its supposed to be a little spicier than Green. I ordered it with sticky rice as sticky rice is my favorite. The color was a beautiful brick red. There was a big basil leaf floating on top. It had veggies like zucchini, flower, broccoli and peas. But It was not spicy, just a mild version of spicy. But it tasted good. Specially with the rice. DESSERT Chocolate Mousse : I absolutely loved the chocolate mousse here. This is the first time I have hogged up a chocolate mousse. A hint of salt in the sweetness of the chocolate was made this chocolate mousse gourmet style. ** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ** The staff is well versed with the dishes and serve well. There were many online orders going out throughout my visit but it didn't hinder with my order. Keep it up...!!!

I had heard a lot about this place so finally got a chance to pay a visit here. Serving some authentic Asian food this place is definitely a must visit if you are looking for good food with good price. We had: *DRINKS* 1. Peach iced tea 2. Coconut nimbu pani *APPETIZERS* 1. Chicken momos- soft, literally melts in your mouth 2. Crispy potatoes- loved it, the chilly garlic seasoning was really good *MAINS* 1. 3 flavoured chicken 2. Chicken kaukswe- their signature dish and a must have, it's really heavy and filling, and the best part is we make how we'd like to have it *DESSERT* Chocolate mousse- was really soft and tempting This place or rather brand is quite renowned and vintage. Hats off to chef Nikhil Chib, good work done.

Great location , and very reasonably priced food . Loved the Tom yum soup and the Cambodian curry and rice . Interesting menu and very courteous staff . Decor could be better , was not very happy with the chairs . Casual dinning place and tasty food .

Busago located in oshiwara link road small and beautiful place very colorful. Had great Asian food with a lot of variety I ordered coconut nimbu paani, peach ice tea, momos, kaukswe, prawns rice, salad, and chocolate mousse Coconut nimbu panni was very different and great taste with natural sweetness Peach ice tea very refreshing and get fresh pudina taste. Tibetan chicken momos had minced chicken and had an authentic taste. Som tam salad a spicy sweet and sour raw papaya and cherry tomatoes salad topped with peanuts and served with prawns and boiled egg Kaukswe perfect Burmese styled and delicacy. Consisting of creamy coconut-based curry with noodles and various condiments like crunchy peanuts, spring onion, fried garlic, freshly cut onion, fried onion, chili flakes, lemon this all can be added as you want in kaukswe 3 flavored prawns was absolutely perfect blended with red sauce and based with fried rice Then we ended our meal with chocolate mousse a hint of salt with sweetness of the chocolate which made this great in taste.

In case you're craving some Chinese, Asian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, or Momos, Busago is the spot to go. They have an assortment of options to look over steaming Momos, soup, Salad, Appetizers, Mains and Al-inclusive Bowls. I recently visited their Oshiwara outlet, a solitary little shop lodging around few tables within and with a few more in the open air area. The outlet is sufficiently bright and kept up spick N span with an open kitchen. Everything is so great about this spot; the courteous staff continually wearing a smile on their faces, light music out of sight, pretty atmosphere, average feasting arrangement all of which gives you the genuinely necessary peace following a tiring day. One of a kind menu makes this spot much increasingly magnificent. An absolute necessity attempt is their spicy pork noodles. A pan sear hot noodles with an astonishing taste with an egg on top. Best among all is Kaukswe an ideal burmese dish comprising of velvety coconut-based curry with noodles and different toppings like crunchy peanuts, spring onions, fried garlic, freshly cut onions, fried onions, bean stew pieces, lemon this can be included as you need in kaukswe. A must visit to taste some unique food at reasonable rates.

The ambiance is done with bricks and bowls. The seating is limited to 20-25 people COCONUT NIMBU PAANI- Really like the taste of this one with a hint of ginger, however, it lacked in presentation PEACH ICE TEA- More of tea, less of flavor TIBETIAN MOMOS- The outer layer was soft filled with veggies tossed in soy sauce. BURMESE KHAO SUEY- The presentation and quantity were good. The coconut gravy was okayish SOMTAM- it was sweet and extremely spicy. Must try. BANOFEE PIE- loved this dessert. amazing!! Overall the food was decent.

The food was yum and portions was very good. Place is nice but chairs are kind of annoying. I really like the chocolate tart.

I pretty much have a staple choice at Busago which is the prawn or chicken Kauswey. It comes with a bowl of coconut curry, choice of rice or noodles and a plate of condiments. It is sufficient for two people at the max. The chicken and prawn momo are good options for starters.
Mumbai’s Binge
Used to be a frequent customer at the Bandra joint. So ever since I heard busago opened in Oshiwara , it had always been on my to visit list. The joint lived up to my expectations and probably serves the most authentic Pan Asian food in the city . What we tried : the Tibetan momos , Burmese kuakswe Veg and Chicken ! Both the dishes were nothing short of bliss as they were perfectly cooked and the condiments in the kuakswe added to the dish. Thanks to Russel for a warm experience. Wish the joint was made a little bigger with more seating arrangements.

It's a small place in Oshiwara. I had chicken momos which were quite well made. Khao-suey is a must have. Even if you had it before, do try it here. It's quite delicious plus the presentation is appealing. The quantity of the dishes is generous so order in parts. We ordered the green thai curry which we couldn't finish. Also the green thai curry had a strong flavour.
Rutuj Gavankar
The service is really good and relatively quick. I would recommend trying the Burmese curry with noodles. The momos were decent, although, not exceptional. I would rather take out than sit there and eat though

If you are looking for an authentic South Asian food, then this is the perfect place. My favourite is their Burmese Vegetable Kaukswe. For non vegetarians, try their Basil Chicken. Don’t forget to spice it up!

I have always ordered Yellow Bean Tofu from Mulund West outlet. It was with white non spicy gravy (I ha e a problem with spices) and one of their best dishes. Today I ordered same dish from Powai outlet and to my utter dismay found brown spicy gravy, yellow broccoli, one small piece of shiitake mushroom and to give them credit generous portion of tofu. Due to high spice level I could not finish the dish. They should maintain same quality and recipe in all outlets. A big disappointment or me.

Peanuts were a let down which usually tastes great in ur dishes. Seems old stock of peanuts were used

Busago is very next to our office & we visited herr for a lunch.
Very tiny place so it might feel suffocation when over crowded.

We ordered crispy potato chilly & prawns rice
Both tasted good, very fresh flavours and sauce.
Good food, exclusive asian food

Busago was our favourite place to order khow suey from. It shut the regular powai outlet and opened at a new address. I was so absolutely disappointed with the food that has always been so consistently good across outlets. The khow suey gravy was just plain bad tasting, the noodles were all clumped up, the condiments came in a packaging that’s so unlike busago’s standards- I was absolutely appalled. Appearances apart, the taste was just not up to the mark and I’m so genuinely sad about that.
Supreet Nagpal
I ordered food from busago via ZOMATO and busago delivered it personally and chicken momos were stale , I called them and told the issue they promised me to send me that dish again but after waiting for so long I called them and they didn’t pick my call. I called several times. they didn’t send anything .. I am so disappointed, will never food from there..

Been here many times in powai. Great ambience and awesome food. Perfect for a date night. Service was the best. Best option for Asian food.

My bestie is crazy about the flat noodles and even I like it a lot. It is sad that the restaurant is pretty far from our place so we can not visit often.
Also I would like to say that the service is very very slow so please improve that and the staff is not attentive. Anything can be the reason but at least give water on time
Sanika (@foodenthu_)
Had these veg steamed Momo's from busago and omg they were like little balls of happiness
Only thing that this happiness did not last long ( size is quite small)
Their dumplings are quite authentic.
Sushma Kanwar
Ordered thai green curry with specific instructions not to add mushroos but the food arrives with Mushrooms. Although the bill clearly carries instructions not carried out
Pallavi Bichu
So disappointed with the Busago deliveries nowadays. Ordered a sticky veg bomb which had no vegetables except water chestnuts. Last week, I ordered a yellow bean tofu curry with specific instructions to give it with brown rice, and they didn’t deliver what I ordered again. Not expected of you guys!

Busa Go has multiple outlets across Mumbai. After being to numerous other outlets, I decided to visit Powai one.

Restaurant was closed for cleaning in evening and reopened at around 5.30PM (Try not to visit before that time)

About Restaurant.

Location : ⭐⭐⭐ Located in bustling Hiranandani and surrounded by numerous other eateries. It can be difficult to locate the restaurant

Ambience : ⭐⭐⭐1/2
Just like other Busa Go outlets, they have tried to maintain the compact theme. Ambience in general was good

Food : ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Perhaps one of the best places to try Asian food.
We had their trademark & Seisme Chicken and Momo's. Food was delicious and has ensured that I have been a regular goer to this place.

Overall : 3.75 ⭐
A Must visit for people craving for Asian Food

Very happy to find out this place is back in the vicinity, even if it is just a delivery place now, but atleast whenever i am at my friend's place on Powai, i get to have my favourite Khaosuye, Crispy potatoes and Veg Momos from here along with house special sauces!!
This is a delivery place and not dine out. It's incorrectly shown on Zomato that it's dine out place. The location of this delivery centre is extremely bad. It's a chawl system with dirty roads. Wondering what kind of water is being used to prepare the food. We visited this place for dinner but later found out that it's only delivery centre and not dine out. The staff apparels looked extremely dirty. There was poor hygiene. Please don't order food from busago

They cancelled the order after ordering and never picked up the phone after cancelling. Terrible behaviour from the restaurant

Order some hearty meals at this place and you will never regret.

My order was :
1. Steamed Veggies Stir Fry
2. Kaffir Lime Prawn Stir Fry

Both dishes came with our choice of carbs(noodles/rice)
The taste was very authentic and we loved the food.

Conviniently located at hiranandi powai, the decor is cute and well lite. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I was here for lunch on a weekend hence i believe there was so rush. I was a bit disappointed at the size of the dimsums, they where the tiniest dimsums i had ever seen especially for the price i was paying. I also had bulgogi with rice. I had specifically ordered brown rice but was served white instead. Even though i was the the 2nd customer at the eatery, the order took over 45 mins to arrive which felt like forever. I had to asked for takeaway and could not enjoy my meal at the restaurant since my lunch break was over just sitting and waiting here. I will recommend the bulgogi and probably this and the sweet servers deserve all the 3 stars. Otherwise would rate this a 0 star is possible.

So I’ve been to this place twice it’s been a disappointment. So the chicken served here is not fresh and it’s undercooked. It feels like you’re having raw chicken. I have tried their sesame chicken, chicken green Thai curry and burmese kaukswe. The taste wasn’t good. Coming to the ambience it’s okay but the tables are placed very close to each other. It’s like less space but to many people around.
Overall experience : You can definitely avoid this place in Powai !!
Visakh Sivan
Very poor service. Sat there for 45mins for a plate of momos and had to leave without having it. The worst thing is they don't even care that we left.

Everyone has their own go-to restaurant when it comes to choosing the quickest option to elevate the taste buds without thinking much. On the main streets of Powai, we find a cozy and stylish restaurant - BusaGo, one of the best places for Asian food and in no time it has become one of our favourite places too.

Everything is so good about this place; the polite staff always wearing a smile on their faces, light music in the background, pretty ambience, decent dining placement all of which gives you the much needed peace after a tiring day.

During our past few visits, we’ve tried the following dishes:

1. Chicken Green Thai Curry
2. Chicken Sesame Teriyaki
3. Burmese Kaukswe
4. Chicken Momos
5. Chicken Red Thai Curry
6. Wok Tossed House Special Chicken

We highly recommend the Green Thai Curry from this place and you would definitely thank us for this.

Have a good time at BusaGo!

Worst BusaGo outlet in Mumbai.

I happened to pre-book a table here recently and arrived well before my confirmed booking time at 6:30 PM using the Zomato app. I saw that the restaurant was open but no signs of any patrons inside.

The manager of the restaurant signalled they will open the store in 30min so my wife and I waited outside. At 7:15 we were asked to wait a little more so I obliged. 10 min later, the manager came put saying they might shut the outlet permanently and are sending whatever stock they had back.

The manager could've simply stated this before when I first arrived instead of wasting my time. On the contrary, he said it was his prerogative whether to allow me post 90 mins of opening the outlet and was quite rude, like that wasn't obvious enough to anyone there since we had NOT contested any of the misbehaviour and time wasting.

We evaded any arguments and chose to leave silently, as the manager seemed frustrated enough and was clearly pissed with Zomato and the fact that we had a pre-booked table using the app. I decided to put my trust in Zomato instead of wasting my time further with him.

Zomato's reply to the whole incident was a complete denial that the incident ever took place. (customer support agent Younis Utkarsh, which sounds made up, said that he chose to believe the restaurant owner & told me that I was lying over the call)

This reflects poorly on both BusaGo and Zomato. I'd avoid this outlet and head to Pali Hill one, cosy but much better.

The manager at the Powai outlet had an air of disregard and was cheap with his choice of words, he had no respect for our time and lied to Zomato customer support.

I was practically ROBBED! Ordered the "Sticky Veg Bomb" Busago Bowl, and got a tiny little bowl of plain veg fried rice! No sauce! No Shitake mushrooms! Got Button mushrooms instead! The quantity was abysmal! Not worth Rs. 325! I've ordered BusaBowls previously and the BOWL IS DIFFERENT and the quantity much better! In the name of 'Ginger Soy Sauce' got a small container of regular soy sauce 😒. Absolutely ridiculous pricing and dish! Will NEVER ORDER THIS DISH AGAIN!!

BusaGo story... This was sometime in March 2018 when my wife came to visit me in powai as I was working on one particular Saturday and she was missing me a lot. So she surprised making a visit and she had planned to have lunch with me but unfortunately I already had my lunch and she reached by 3pm, as during office hours I am very punctual about my lunch timings 😜😜. So took a small break had few gossip and asked what she would like to have.? We entered few restaurants checked the menu and came out as she was disappointed that I already had my lunch.
Then we entered into BusaGo as this was the first time we were coming to this place. Jo decided to have Khaffir Lime Beef as she wanted to make me jealous and as it was our lent days, so i was not having nonveg. The order took 15-20mins and was on the table. Two bowl arrived one bowl full of beef curry and other with steamed rice. Stir fried beef with chilli, garlic and Khaffir Lime leaf. I didn't taste it but it looked delicious and Jo said it was too tasty. The beef curry was tender and juicy. She completed the rice as I have never seen her having so much rice. There was so much of beef curry left which she parcelled and had it again in the evening with Maggi to make me more jealous.

As per my wife comment highly recommeneded to visit this place (as wife is always right). The quantity is for two so always check before ordering and pricewise it costed us 350/- which is like little pricey but two ppl can have one dish, so the quantity be more and quality wise its very healthy.

Honest Rating out of 5

Ambience : 4
Service : 4
Food and Quality : 4
Filling : 5
Reasonable : not that reasonable but huge quality for 2

Been there for a plate of momos yesterday 17th Aug. Waited for 45mins and had to come out as there was no response from anyone.
Looked like they were waiting for us to leave. They invited next family to occupy our seats without even asking us the reason for leaving. It was really humiliating. Will never visit again

The honey chilli potato over here really tasted delicious, it's a recommended dish.
The veg steamed momos were really not good even when tried with chilli sauce.

Service : 3.5/5
Ambience : 4 /5
Quantity : 4.5/5
Taste: 3/5
Pocket friendly : 4/5

Walking down Main Street in Powai, I sighted a familiar signage; it was BusaGo. I had been to the one in Bandra and, therefore, had a legitimate benchmark.

The street appeal was top shelf. The entrance through the double glass doors was elegant. The counter at the far end of the restaurant seemed a bit out of kilter. The decor was contemporary and truthfully Asian. Overall, it was an odd mix of elegance and functionality- in my book that is two thumbs up for ambience.

As I mentioned, having been to an outlet in Bandra, I had a clear idea as to what I was leaning towards. I ordered a vegetarian Tom Yum Soup, a Chicken Basil and Steamed White Rice to go with it.

The Tom Yum Soup made its debut in short order. It was this spiced stock with a medley of veggies. True to its form, the trinity of ingredients were all there in full measure: lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and galangal. The kaffir lime leaves were a bit of a spoiler since they were left whole - it was clearly a distraction. Halfway through, I made an executive call to remove all of the lime leaves. After that point, I enjoyed the soup and the liberal crunchy veggies: courgette, baby corn, button mushrooms, carrots and broccoli. The Chicken Basil and Steamed Rice came next. The Chicken Basil was excellent- there were juicy chunks of chicken, instead of the ground/minced chicken and the bell peppers were also chunky. The sauce was just right in consistency and has that amazing hint of tanginess. Together with the steamed rice, the Chicken Basil and the sauce played a symphony in my mouth. It was an explosion of flavors and the crunchy bell peppers provided that interesting contrast. Loved it. After lunch, I checked out the cold coffee. It was one of those moments, one asks oneself: Why? The coffee had a strange bitter taste - no it wasn’t coffee bean taste. Overall, my lunch experience was a bit better than my expectations. Clearly, a thumbs up.

Service was blasé; I walked up to the counter to order my lunch and the service experience had the touch of unwelcome casualness. The service delivery and the timing/sequencing were okay. Part of the reason I did not make the right choice with the coffee was because I did not get a coherent response from the waitstaff. Not once did any of the waitstaff stop by and inquire about my experience. Perhaps it did not matter to them. For all those reasons, service gets a bare thumbs up.

My overall experience was mixed: I thought the ordering process was way too casual, kind of fast food like. The kaffir leaves in the Tom Yum Soup our to have been removed before serving, the Chicken Basil was the star. Supervisory staff could be better trained to add some warmth to the service. All this because the price points are not in the realm of fast food. With all the puts and takes, I can honestly rate my experience as meeting expectations but certainly not exceeding it.

Ohh!!! I am in love with this place. Unique menu makes this place even more awesome. Best among all is burmese khaoswey, a burmese dish with variety of toppings, coconut curry and noodles. Just delicious. Must visit to try out some different cuisine in reasonable rates.

Trying to copy some south-east asian dishes but at best a failed attempt.
Momos served with appropriate sauces.
Garlic chilli potato was okay. Hopefully they work on the dishes and service more.

Who serves momos without schezwan sauce? They didn’t have pepper sauce as well. Taste was bland too. Won’t recommend it to anyone! Highly disappointed!
Jeet Chaudhuri
This place has got to have the worst food among all the busagos I have tried. And this is being polite. The only reason there is 1 star is because I couldn't find an option for half a star. Tom yum soup is basically spices on hot water with cut vegetables and chicken.. How can you go soo fast wrong on a basic red curry. Momo's... Look it up somewhere!!

Never again!
Good place nice ambience food here is quiet average soup are quite good n they taste different from usual Chinese soups rice bowl quantitybis good staff is helpful and kind must busy place

One of the places I like for Asian food. Their khow suey is a must try. Even when you order they send the toppings (or whatever they call it) in separate box with tiny compartments for each ingredient.

Their dumplings are not bad too. The place isn’t pricey. And the ambience is cute, warm and cozy.

Service is good and staff is cordial.

This is a cute little Asian place in Hiranandani Powai. Ideal for a friendly hangout or an affordable dinner date. Zomato Gold works just fine.

I've tried multiple items from their menu such as Thai Basil Rice, make your own Khousuey, spicy chilli noodles. And I liked all of them, Thai Basil Rice being my favourite of all time.

Love the place, highly recommended of you like Asian food.

Food: Great. Expect variety and different tastes!
Service: Good.
Ambience: Great for hanging out. Music is good. Doesn't get too loud.
Zomato Gold Experience: Seamless. They won't give you any trouble.

I went to this restaurant based on zomato’s reviews and I was quite disappointed by the food. We had ordered a prawn chili basil with rice and spicy noodles.
The noodles were just tossed in a spicy sauce and it was just hard to eat it as it had no taste at all. There were garlic skin( peel) in it. It was really disheartening to see and eat several garlic peels. The prawn chili basil was still better in comparison.

The manager was kind enough to accept that the dish was badly prepared and didnt charge us for the meal. Overall it was a bad experience.
Great food and service, would highly recommend...
The staff is also very friendly and the ambience seems perfect
A must go to place for all non veg lovers! ☺️

I went to Busago with office colleagues over lunch on a Thursday afternoon.
The place was full house even on a Thursday afternoon. The ambience is lit with full glass windows that bring in a lot of sunshine. The staff was welcoming and guided us through the menu.
Busago is an authentic Burmese cuisine. The place is known for its Bus Bowls. These bowls have both veg and non-veg options. It contains a bed of rice/noodles with veg/non veg options on the top. These options range from- thai gravy to half fry to prawns. So there is good food for everyone. Since we were a big group of people we tried variety of options and they were all good. However, this cuisine might not be appealing to everyone. So if you love Thai taste then it is a must visit place!❣️

If you want to indulge in Thai and Vietnamese delicious this the perfect place for it. The ambience is good and the food is great! Almost full during lunch time.

The spicy chilli noodles are really good and even the Cambodian curry. Most dishes are good for one and filling. But the weird thing is they play EDM music at lunch time.😄

Best place for lunch and dinner....great food...really loved the sesame teriyaki busy bowl....i am a big fan and surely will be a frequent visitor

U have been to this place twice and I have been refused service to eat at the location. They basically want to do takeaway stuff. Once they were cleaning their ceiling and the second time they said their door was broken and hence they could not serve me at the restaurant. I do not know why this is on a Zomato Gold list. The least that the restaurant can do is put up a board outside that they are closed for seating and not insult customers who walk in. That too not once , but twice on different days!
Abhishek Gharat
Amazing food
Should try the chicken noodles. And it is Zomato gold so it’s perfect. Place is always filled and the service is also decent. They should try to help out the customer by giving them some suggestion as the cusisine is Burmese

Was waiting for about 30 minutes just to place my order and the server spoke in a very rude and condescending manner. The quality of the food, the ambience and the overall experience has significantly deteriorated.

+1 for ambience and location. The food quality, however, was not that good. Ordered a chicken + rice bowl. It was a bit too overwhelming to eat.

Went here a couple of times..
The veg chilly noodles is a hit 😍😍 one of the best I've had .
The Burmese curry was also wonderful ..
Didn't like the dumplings though .. very small and bit bland..
Pricing is good and it offers Zomato gold which is a plus point

The staff was very friendly, we ordered two bowls , the Bulgogi and the veg Teriyaki bowl, both were great.
It wasn't too crowded so we could sit and work peacefully as well.

Please stop delivering food by your own delivery guys.

Your employee delivered it to the wrong person without even confirming the name. There was no bill attached to delivery which is insane !!!!

Moreover your restaurant and your delivery does not pick up the damn phone.

Never order in again from your restaurant.

Felt like some Khao Suey and ordered in the ‘Veg. Burmese Khao Suey’. The presentation was outstanding. The garnishing (minced spring onion, fried onions, peanuts, chili, coriander, onions and a boiled egg) all in small compartments of a big brown box. The gravy was not too heavy, just the right amount of fresh veggies and coconut milk. If you ever want to make Khao Suey at home- look no further :)
Loved the experience & of course the food :)

Had gone to friends place at powai. We had a small get together party so we had ordered thai red curry, momos, thai red curry, kiffir lime veg. We loved everything however the best i felt was thai green curry with rice i just loved it. Delivery was also fast.

There are very few places which manage to have a lasting impacting on you. Visited this place for a quick lunch with a colleague. The place was packed primarily with office employees from the nearby buildings.

We were greeted by the restaurant manager who helped us with a corner table. Quickly ordered two mains with the help of Zomato Gold. Veg order was of Burmese Khao Suey - excellent presentation I must say. Was blown away with the quantity of noodles and the curry. Accompaniments included peanuts, fried onions, spring onions, onions, coriander, garlic, chili flakes. The meal was wholesome and can be easily shared by 2 people without a doubt.

Overall had a wholesome meal at Busago. Surely coming back here !!

I was here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was packed with diners at the time and the place being small, we had to wait a full half an hour outside to get a table.

The food was great, the service quick and the staff courteous. I have previously made limited forays into Southeast Asian cuisine, and with BusaGo leaving a positive taste lingering in my mouth, it is without doubt I would head here again in case of a craving for Thai or Myanmarese food.

Service was very slow. Chilly potatoes were extremely salty. Ambience was good. Even the staff wasn't polite. Worst experience ever. No value for money.
Suaad Sayyed
Absolutely wonderful! The portions were filling and generous. The green thai curry was one of the best I've had. The spicy chilli noodles were hot and full of flavour. Quick service as well

The food was very good and staff very polite. Mr Dheeraj was given a very good service in terms of selection of food and service. I wish him good luck

Like this place because if it’s good Chinese food and best part is you get good portions of everything in lesser price and take away is always good as I love The packing

kaffir lime did not have any tofu despite the mention in their menu. the instructions were not followed. Chicken Pho was too bland, didn't even have salt in it.
Gurmann Singh Chadha
The service was slow but during busy dinner hours, that's excused. Staff seemed pretty courteous, so service was overall satisfactory. The food on the other hand was very standard for it's price. From the Thai curry to the teriyaki(despite soy being in the dish) everything lacked salt. We specifically asked for what would be comparatively spicy, and ordered that just to find nothing spicy about the dish. The portions didn't lack in size which saves the score for dropping lower.

Nice place to visit with family .
Tried 3 flavoured busago chicken bowl. It was yummy mix of sweeet tangy and chilly chicked with rice..also had lemon tart and chocolate tart
Food 4/5
Ambience 3.5
Service 4
If you love Chinese or Vietnamese cousins n servings in the bowl then this is the place. The food is super awesome nicely spice with lot of flavors... totally recommend!

Had lunch at this place yesterday. All I can say is.. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is bcoz I filled my stomach with the quantity of rice in the bowl. The price is on the upper side against the offering. I ordered sesame rice. It was ok in taste but it kept me out of hunger for at least 3-4 hrs till, I reaxh home at night😃

Ok. This place is for authentic Asian food lovers only. The flavours are perfect. But a little too bland for the Indian palate. So if you are typically an Indian masala food kind of a person, then surely this place is not for you.

The ambience is good. But too many tables are fitted in a small area. So the place can get a bit crammed. Be ready to be pushed around while having your food as the servers rush about and accidentally kick or push your chair.

Food presentation is good and portion size is quite appropriate. Though the options are quite limited.
No choices for Jain food lovers.

One thing that I would like to mention is staff needs a lot more training in hospitality. Not rude. But quite unprofessional.

Visited this place with my wife few weeks ago, a small place in hiranandani with polite staff, however, we didn't find many options available for vegetarians.

5 stars for this place :)
It was a Sunday evening, the place is usually crowded. We just had to wait for minutes and we got our table. We ordered vegetarian food.

Som Tam Salad - It's little tangy, has raw papaya topped with lots of peanuts, something unique and totally recommended

3 flavoured (Busa Bowl) - Oh my this was the highlight of the day. Garlic rice with veggies topped with herbs, it was a perfect bowl. It has sweet, sour and spicy taste.

Burmese Kaukswe- this is a Thai curry with either rice or noodles, we went for both. It's a simple curry with limited veggies. My three year old nephew could have it.
For me, I added some red sauce for spicy taste. They also provide this 'thali' of condiments that has roasted garlic, onion, peanuts, raw onion, lemon, spring onions etc. I added those to my curry rice but I'd still prefer my red sauce.

The next day, I was still thinking of the amazing food I had here. So many thanks, Busago!

Amazing, value for money and super yummy. Staff was courteous and the food is to die for!
Must visit... Won't regret
Good portions as well..

Good place for quick and tasty asian meal. They have limited food menu but the food tastes awesome. I visited this place a couple of times with my friends. I have tried veg dumplings and mix stir fry with rice. Also their Tom Yum Soup tastes good. All the dishes we tried were tasty and the food quality was good. Will definitely recommend this one!

The place is okay to go to when you are really hungry and don’t want to use your head and eat something quick. We like there chilli potato and our must eat is their stir fry steamed rice veggie bowl.

Visit: 13th June 2019

It was a random and quick decision to visit BusaGO.

Actually, was suppose to go to Outlet next to it which was perfect option in rainy evening (its a hint ;) about the outlet and I bet you can guess it easily.

However, Great minds think alike and this place was already crowded.

So ended up entering in BusaGo - and I do not regret doing it.

It wasn't too crowded. Staff was welcoming and Decor is decent.

Ordered:

Vegetarian Dumplings: Total 6 pieces - Three types of chilly ketchup were placed already at the table.

Dumplings are always favorite. And loved them this time as well.

Properly thin outer skin, proper air tight stuffed filling inside.

PHO Soup: I love it. No need to add anything else to make it taste better.

Clear soup with flat noodles, fried garlic and veggies.

In rainy evening, Soup could also be an option rather than having only "Chayyy". :))

Burmese veg khao suey:

This is Yellow coconut based curry with white noodles served with Condiments like fresh onion, lime, caramelized onion, coriander, chilly flakes, fried garlic etc.

I tried it for first time but friend of mine who have had it before many time in other places was Unhappy.

Personally, I found it too sweet because of excess use of Coconut. I tried to make it little less sweet by adding given condiments and at the end, managed to get the correct balance as per my taste buds.

Also, after conveyed the same to a person who was attending our table. he also acknowledged the same and apologized.

May be will come to BusaGo again or will go to some other place to try it out.

But all in all, it was good experience.

One more thing: At the end, before billing - person asked us about Zomato Gold (I rarely have seen people doing it) so again I appreciate it.

As even though being a Zomato Gold user - I had totally forgotten about it.

Its Value for Money

Quality Food is served.

And yeah, nice place to have a conversation and chill.

Giving 3 ***

I found the place a bit expensive compared to its counterparts. Had ordered non veg green thai curry and chicken momos. The curry was okayish, not that great! while momos were average.
Kanchan Palav
The food is delicious
It serves authentic food which gives the pleasure to your taste buds
The drinks were not available as listed from the menu, only the peach ice tea was available though it was very nicely blended together that we ordered it twice😊
Priyanka Nandy
A solid 3.5 from me. The curry-base for some of the offerings may be way off, and taste more like thin desi gravy than the actual dish on the menu, but the meat/fish is always good. And the momos are much better, for the price, than those offered by competing outlets. This is good enough for me, plus the decor is cute. Not exactly a new hot favourite, but definitely a place I'll return to.
Arup & Shreya Bhattacharya
Ordered two dishes -Busa bowls 3 flavoured with pork and stir fry kaffir lime with chiken- we must say both the dishes were very unique in taste and flavourful!! Will definitely visit again!!

Always loved the food from here.. but was disappointed last night when ordered dessert.. the picture shown while ordering is far tempting from what actually you get. It’s just misleading, hence big thumbs down!! Why not show what you actually are capable of delivering.

I have eaten gado gado salad in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapre. Was excited to see in menu, so ordered it. Worst food I ever had. It is supposed to be made in peanut sauce whereas it was made in Chinese sauce. Only 1 piece of tofu and rest all cabbage!!!
Qty: ok
Taste: horrible/pathetic
Salad: stale
Never try....

This is the place that made me fall in love with Burmese food. The powai cafe is quite large and the decor is so quaint and inviting. I generally end up going to this place for lunch.

My favourites:

Burmese veg khao suey - this is the traditional yellow coconut based curry (slightly spicy) with a lot of exotic vegetables served with white noodles and condiments like crushed peanuts, fresh onion, caramelised onion, chilli flakes etc.
Veg Thai green curry - this is also a traditional green coconut based curry (spicy) served with rice. The best part is you can ask them to give you a healthier option and they will serve you the same with brown rice.
Veg fried wok - the flavour of the veggies and the sauce they were tossed in was mind blowing.
The quantity is enough for one person for all these dishes.

My not so favourites:

I somehow did not quite like the momos. They missed the traditional authentic taste that I was searching for. Hence, just for this 1 star less.

But I do recommend that you must visit this place, if you are going to eat what I listed in my favourites.
Great food - best for a quick lunch/dinner! Extremely partial to the yellow bean pork bowl and the five spiced prawns! Wish they improve on the bulgogi, though - the sweetness overpowers the meat.

My last experience yesterday was horrific - had ordered vegetarian momos in addition to prawn and chicken ! However the restaurant didn't send across the vegetarian momos and sent a meat stuffed one without any information - luckily my wife who's a vegetarian could smell that something was not right and didn't eat it ! The one chicken or whatever meat was used was close to dog meat as one couldn't chew on it and had to be put into the garbage bag ! No more order for this restaurant again !
Sridevi D
Enjoyed the food here. The momos are good and the Burmese Kaukswe is recommended. It is more like noodle soup. It has a nice coconut milk flavoured base with noodles added in.

When you are done with Partner Training & you find this place !
Busago !
A restaurant that one should try.
Great service !
Superb Ambience and love for the Momo's they cooked !
If you happen to visit this place , order chicken Momo's and have it with Red chilli's Sauce.
You would definitely like it.
.
#shutterhubindia
#pixelpanda_india
#indiaphotosociety
#coloursofindia
#uttarakhandtraveller
#onehimachal
#streetfood
#streetfoods
#streeteats
#foody
#foodnetwork
#foodiegram
#foodstyling
#foodography
#foodgram
#ilovefood
#foodaholic
#instachef
#foodvsco
#foodspotting
#food52
#eeeeeats
#yougottaeatthis
#gloobyfood
#beautifulcuisines
#thekitchn
Treasured Flavours
It is a casual dining space. They have a small yet a great menu. Limited variety but each worth the try! The food is rich in flavours & spices. Loved the asian cuisine. Also, everything felt really fresh which definitely adds up to the experience. What we tried:
-Chilli Potato: right hint of spices making it a delightful option.
-Chicken Dimsum: simply perfect!
-Chilli Noodles with Chicken: this one is a busa bowl which is sufficient for one person meal. Great taste, superb quantity.
-Thai Basil Veggies with steam Rice: The flavour of basil was so evident & delicious. Too good. Definitely coming back for this!
-Chocolate Tart: the Chocolate was brilliant and the tart crust was perfect! Super yummy.
The ambience is lively. The music makes the vibes super comfortable. Great place to drop by with friends and family to enjoy a great meal & have a great time. We were assisted by Aarav & Sunny who made sure our service was on point.

Overall, this is definitely a great place for some great Asian food.

The ambiance at this place is good. I especially love visiting this place for their momos. The have very good and yummy momos. One must definitely try them out

Not a fan of the place after they messed up my favourite khao suey on my first visit. The gravy was too thick for the runny texture of khao suey and the gravy to noodles ratio was also messed up. It is good for a fast service asian food but not expecting too much on taste from this place. Spl after my fav asian place got closed on powai, fatty bao, i really wish someone matching the taste opens up soon
