Mast Malwani, as Restaurant's name says it all. Usually this one is packed on Weekends, so book a table here or try it on Weekdays. Everything here is Delicious like Surmai Thali, Chicken Thali, Pomfret Thali and yes Crab Thali. I did like everything here, also Solkadi or Kokumkadi. So try this Restaurant now, I guarantee you that you will love eating here!!.. :)
I can't enough of the chicken wade. I have been going there for years. Love the taste. The veg options are not great.

Food quality is really good. Not only nonveg but also the vegitarian meals are great. Only the portion size are less though.

If you love having authentic malvani seafood must visit this place at lalbaug. Staff is polite, it's crowded on weekends. Tried pomfret fry thali, prawns masala, prawns fry, bombil fry, mutton masala, crab masala, solkadi, vade, bhakri. Fish fry was well marinated and crispy hot. Gravy base was same for most of the dishes, solkadi was delicious.
Want to try some really tast and authentic malvani food. This is the place.Thali system is available at a very affordable prices. And very good taste. Fish fry is one of the best dishes available here. So i'll reccomend that
Had to pick up and bring home, still the food was quite hot.
Usually I avoid eating crab as it gets quite messy and the last time I had it at a different place, the meat i could get wasn't worth it but not this time though. Good amount of meat inside thier crabs. It was the CRAB MASALA.
Also liked the SURMAI FRY, couldnt wrong with this one.
But my favourite dish here wasn't any sea food but CHICKEN KOLHAPURI, never disappoints. Only wished the chicken was shredded, otherwise no complaints
The place is located in Parel. If you’re a Malvani cuisine lover, then this should be in your bucket list. The place is small and there’s almost 15-20 minutes waiting, but it is worth the wait!
We ordered fish and chicken thalis.
The kombdi wade is hot served, the chicken preparation is so mouthwatering, also the solkadi is yummiest thing over there.
I would recommend chicken thali over fish. As the fish we ordered were not fresh that day. But, overall I would rate the taste and quality as 4/5.
₹500 for two people, which is very reasonable for a non-veg thali. Surely, would recommend if you’re in Mumbai and craving for malvani food.
Quite a famous non vegetarian hotel in lalbaug near bharatmata area. Its famous for its typical malwani style food. The chicken-vade comb is to die for. Also try their fish thaali. Very well cooked food. Surely visiting for more.
