This place serves one of the best cakes, biscuits, toasts, khari. It is run by Daraius, it has some of the most authentic Parsi Cakes & Snacks. I highly recommend this place, as you will get the most purest type of Mawa Cakes, Cake toasts out here. The price is on a higher side as per the serving size, but worth every penny, as the quality is extremely good. Highly recommend this place, when your looking to get something to have for you homemade tea. Since years they have never let down the quality. This review is from a Parsi, as many places try to make Mawa cake, but they don't or can't match the quality.

There’s no words for this fabulous bakers in Mumbai. Ofcourse the most hygienic and delicious. I am the third generation buying from this bakery and believe me those who haven’t been yet just visit once and you’ll love it. Since I don't live in Mumbai, when I do visit, I make a point of going to Paris Bakery and buying enough batasas, khatai, macroons & wine cakes to last me a few months. Other times, I have someone purchase and parcel them to me. Yes, they are that good!
The store is tucked away down a winding lane & difficult to locate if you are new to Mumbai or that area, and finding parking is even more difficult. But don't let that keep you away from this gem. When you do plan on going, go early, those yummy morsels sell out fast.

There is complete focus on hygiene and quality control and hence, many times, some products, made in limited batches may get over during the day. If you are planning on buying large quantities, it may be better to phone and check availability in advance. Most customers are loyal long time customers who visit on a regular basis. They are closed in the afternoon hours.

Paris Bakery is one of the most frequently visited places ever since we had been going there since childhood and even now till this day after having moved over 50 kilometres away from the location.. we still visit the place regularly every weekend to pick up our monthly fare of Butter Biscuits Khari biscuit cheese straws cheese sticks and a lot of other absolutely delicious baked items. Behram & Danesh the owners of the place have been doling out these simply superb sweet and savory confectionaries for decades now maintaining superlative consistent flavor through the years.

A hidden gem in Kalbadevi. The owner is very sweet and even offered some samples of the snacks to taste. Definitely get the Cheese straws and mawa cake. A but expensive but great quality.

Paris Bakery is a legendary an old Irani/Parsi Bakery RENOWNED for its FRESHLY BAKED COOKIES AND ASSORTED BISCUITS, like butter or cheese batasa biscuits, The Oats cookies are Deelish, so are the wine cakes and cheese stick curlys etc. They're moderately priced. They shut from 1pm to 4pm and I think post 7pm. A MUST TRY WHEN IN THE MARINE LINES AREA. It's a stones throw in the lane from Our Lady of Dolores Payment is cash only.

Being from a parsi family, i do know of quite a few old parsi bakeries and restaurants.. one such bakery is paris bakery..<br/><br/>This bakery is in the small and interior lanes of Marine lines.. i visited this bakery today..<br/><br/>Things i bought today:<br/><br/>1) cheese batasa - batasa is a traditional biscuit parsis have with tea.. it is to be dipped in tea and had.. batasas are of two types.. butter and cheese.. i bought the cheese batasa from this place.. i have tried these earlier and am a big fan of them.. the richness of the butter and cheese and the flavour of the biscuit is too good! A must try for every cheese lover! Mind-blowing! <br/><br/>2) cheese biscuit - these are small thin strips of biscuit made with loads and loads of cheese and butter! Too rich! <br/><br/>3) mawa cake - totally in awe of the mawa cakes from this place..<br/><br/>Over the years i do feel that the quality has gone down.. the flavour is no longer the same as it was earlier.. but still not bad.. a good try! <br/><br/>The only thing about this place that i feel is that no doubt the biscuits are too good, they are priced a bit too high.. nevertheless, these biscuits are worth a try! <br/>

This is the best place for maska khaari biscuits. IMO, they are the best in Mumbai. The best way to have them is to heat their khaaris in the microwave at least for one full minute.

Tried their plain macaroons. Nice and shiny on the top and crispy, these macaroons are a delight. These are with egg, not sure if they have eggless. The amount of sweetness is just perfect.

A small little place located in the bylanes of the dhobitalao area. The items are selective.. Ot is Famous for its kharis and butters..They stock some traditional winter parsi delicacies too like badampaak and others.<br/>Tried their cheese drops and butter. Straight of the oven, were one the best I have tasted.<br/>The timings are somewhat irregular and avoid going in the afternoon as its closed.

I am so glad I am writing a review for this tiny little place which has served me with the best biscuits I have ever had. Let me begin by saying that I came across this restaurant in a book by Miss Singh and then found it quite by chance while aimlessly roaming about Dhobi Talao. <br/><br/>The old gentleman at the counter personifies gracious behaviour. He is not only extremely polite but insists that you try each and every item you show an interest in before you make a purchase. <br/><br/>The products , ah well buttery , flkay , just perfect. One of the reasons I fear visiting it is because I know I will gain too many pounds within a few days and once you taste those delicious biscuits you are sure to become a fan if crisp buttery flaky biscuits are how you like your biscuits to be. <br/><br/>The last time I paid a visit I was extremely sad to see some old favourites being discontinued but they still have too much to offer. I highly recommend the Cheddar sticks , the shortbread biscuits, the Jam Nankhatai , the soft luscious milky buns sold on Thursdays, the cashew biscuits , the oatmeal biscuits and every item they sell. <br/><br/>If you are in Mumbai you just cannot miss this place. Do remember that they are shut for a decent afternoon siesta.
