This place is extremely pocket friendly. The best part about this place is prompt service. Mostly known for South Indian fast food but even their lunch menu has very basic everyday kind of items. Simple and awesome.

Where You Can Find Oldest Mumbai’s Pictures On Their Walls. I Heard Lot Of Things About This Place. So I Visit This Place On An Evening Of Tuesday. Was Ordered My Favourite South Indian Dish “Mysore Masala Dosa” They Served It With “Sambhar And Coconut Chutney” The Mixture Of Potato And Other Veggies Was Good. Then After I Was Asked Staff For “Bisbelle Bhath” Which Is The Traditional Dish Of North West Karnataka, But Am Quite Disappointed Because They Served The Dish During The Certain Hrs Of The Day. End Of The Brunch I Was Asked For “Nescafé” One Good Think I Noticed That They Served The Coffee Without Added Any Sugar. And Gave Me Other Small Pot Of Sugar. So You Can Prepare Your Coffe With Your Own Sugar Choice. So Yes !! I Had An Amazing Evening Brunch On Tuesday Evening.

Milan coffee house serves very good coffee. Also the South Indian food is good. A fast bite in the fast lane of fountain area. All in all a restaurant with quick service and good coffee.
Good place with excellent quantity of food.
They do not have zomato delivery so have to rely on their own delivery guys for a limited delivery range.

This place is located near Bombay High court. You will find this place very crowdy. Do not expect great ambience. This restaurant is pocket friendly. This restaurant serves vegetarian and egg dishes. Here you will get south Indian dishes like dosa, idli, medu wada, bissibelle bhat, upama etc. Tawa rice and dal khichadi is also famous.
I was in Fort near Fountain and was looking for a quick, no frills breakfast on the go. I chanced upon Milan. Looks like any other udipi, but it's USP is that it's an eggetarian udipi. There are about 8 tables and the turnover is fast. Unsure if the tables have to be shared or not.
Food wise
- Upma : wanted something readily available, upma was. It was light yellow, the coconut chutney was light orange. So colourful. And very yum. Took an extra helping of the chutney.
- Filter coffee : good too.
Paid 90rs for both. Was done in 10 minutes. This was exactly what I was looking for.
Found this place as other restaurants were full n was craving to have an omelette. Also surprising found a table not to be shared. Also the chass ordered was perfect n little spicy. The service was fast

Fort has many lunch home and Milan Coffee House is one of those. This place is big with decent ambience and have quick service with share table systems. This place severs right from South Indian dishes, Thali, Chaat, different types of snacks and more. They even have different types of hot beverages, milkshakes, juices and in dessert ice-cream. Recommendations South Indian dishes, Puri Bhaji, panner biriyani and you can even go for today's special in there restaurant. In beverages can go for ginger tea and coffee.
Milan coffee house is a strategically located restaurant (yes, it's not just a coffee place) in the busy bylanes of the Fountain area. Being close to the various banks, High Court, Bombay Stock exchange, their primary clientele are lawyers and office goers. Lovely old photos of strategic locations of South Mumbai adorn the walls of Milan coffee house, transporting you into that black and white era of trams in Mumbai!
Filter coffee here, is no doubt good, but so is the other South Indian food like Idlis, wadas, sheera and dosas. They also have non-South Indian options such as rice, dal, vegetables etc. which I've heard is nice but never tried as such.
All in all, Milan is a must visit for traditional filter coffee and South Indian fare when around the Flora Fountain area.

One of the most famous Udipi restaurants near Fountain. You'd find mostly lawyers and their clients as guests out there. Simple food with simple taste. You could try paneer bhurji with puri, puri with potato bhaji or pulao. You could also order Mango pulp (during season) or Sreekhand as an add on.
It is a decent place to go for some cheap breakfast or snacks in Fort. It has a variety of options in South Indian dishes. I tried the Upma and it tasted well. Their coconut chutney was great too. The place is a bit small, so it can get crowded sometimes, but seating mostly won't be a problem.
A small thing to note here is their filter coffee is a bit mild, and you'd either need to sugar it up or tell your waiter to ask the chef to make it strong.
Good place to have some filling breakfast or lunch. The place is never empty and the service is generally so quick that the food's on the table before you even read the entire menu. The idlis and dosas are well cooked and the vadas are delicious. Eggs preparations are an added bonus. Quite reasonable. If you're both hungry and in a hurry look no further.

A great place for morning and evening snacks! Tea, coffee among the best. Nice ambiance with old heritage photos of old Bombay. Staff is senior and courteous. They will suggest you the best items of the day and serve them hot! Small, but lovely place. Worth a visit!
Very nice place and u feel you are still in the 1950's - simple functional cafe ambience with buzzing activity and alert waiters - had some great filter coffee - don't know why so many people like the new cafes given the coffee they serve compared to the one we are used to in places like Milan coffee house !! Keep it going guys
This place is amazing for south indian cuisine! The dosas available here are soft and thick served with well cooked sambhar and chutney. But the best among all are the mixed bajias of banana, capsicum, cauliflower and potato😃
And amazing place to eat, take you right back to the old Bombay era. The owner has decorated the restaurant with old and rare pictures of Bombay all around..
Coming to food, the ghee sada dosa is my all time favourite. Mysore dosa and cheese dosa are good too. The chutney and sambar are to die for. Filter coffee is nice and tasty.

I ordered an upma and a dosa. Both were good and mainly quick. But after all this place is famous for its filter coffee.

Would visit Milan coffee house often while working in fort area. Also their delivery is very prompt. This place is for people on the go. Its a place where you could practically eat everyday. The food ranges somewhere between home style food and restaurant food. Totally love their daal khichdi , curd rice , bisebelle bhat , daal fry and rice. The quantity of these dishes would be apt for one person. Also their green peas vada and upma were my snack time favourite. The dosa , idli and medu wada are the safest options. A plus point here is that they serve jain sambar. Also look out for their orange chutney which is not always available. Sometimes they serve white chutney at other times its the orange chutney. One thing that is absolutely worth here is their curd ! At rs. 25 per serving. Their curd is thick yet pure , one can see that it isn't the blotting paper curd , or that there isn't any other kind of mixing.
The coffee here is a bit of a disappointment. Not the perfect filter coffee. The sweet lime juice is just fine.
This place was often solicited by us for small office parties and their catering was always up to the mark.

One of the ancient udupi restaurants in the area along with the famous welcome restaurant located nearby. Must try items are the famous green peas wada, tomato omlette, paneer bhurji, dal fry, the good old batata wada, medu wada and a whole load of the usual southie stuff like dosas, rava masala, utappa, upma, sheera and the works. Have always got the stuff pipping hot as the place is always bustling with people. A great value for money plc. Super Sasta, Sundar, Tikau.
This place is tucked in narrow lanes near Bombay Stock Exchange building.. the place is bit tiny with 6-8 tables..but one gets the feel of being in an old udipi restaurant with posters of old fort area stuck over the walls , talking about the food..the food was ok..i tried Idli vada and tea..and they did not dissappoint me
My office was in the adjacent block so this was my go to place for a quick lunch and even their delivery was very fast. It is a Great place for South Indian food. Absolutely fresh food they provide thanks to the huge crowd it attracts (for all good reasons).

One of my favourite South Indian fast food places in the Fort area of Mumbai since they serve vegetarian as well as egg preparations which is very uncommon. I love their sheera, green peas wada, omelette sandwich and above all their filter coffee!!!
Being a working professional in fort, we r spoilt for options to order in. However there are very few places that serve great egg preparations. One of them being Milan. I have never been to this place but have eaten food from here several times. My absolute favorite being masala egg omelette sandwich. Multple layers of thin masala omelette stacked one on top of the other in fresh and soft slice bread. When in mood to indulge we order the toasted masala omelette sandwich with cheese. The slice of melted cheese makes it soooo much better. Other things ive tried here are omelette pav, roti sabji, egg biryani,etc. All that was average like any of the other local restaurants in the vicinity but the omelettes are fantastic. MUST TRY
This little eatery is tucked in the bylane of nagindas master road, fort near the bombay high court. All veg has never been so homely or cheap. The pricing is betn 40 to 90 rupees a dish. The space constraints allow strangers to sit next to you.
The best part though is the food. Its delicious. From the masala dosa to the tomato ommlette, it tastes almost like homemadr food.
Its fast turned out to be my evening quick snack place. Oh and they give free home delivery in and around the area
tawa pulao and veg pulao is worth trying at this place. one of the oldest joints in mumbai !!! situated 5 minutes away from flora fountain !!!
What amazing food. Situated heart of the Fort at Mumbai, place is a simple one with simple non-ac, wooden furniture layout. The Idli/vada with sambhar mixed, chutney, aloo-poori, aloo wada with sambhar is to die for. Last but not the least is their Sheera which is again too tasty and reminds of Bangalore Kesari Bhat. Ibas usual over ate and bill was 100 per head.
Cheese Mysore sada dosa is the best out here.
Chutney and Sambar are good and spicy specially Sambar.
Sukha Chutney is only available in the morning on special request which must with Idli

Recommended is Masala Dosa which was crisp and the vegetable preparation was tasty. They also serve egg burji.

It's a small place. But very popular. Price very affordable. I had sheera upma mix. I was trying it first time and i absolutely loved it. The missal pav was equally good. U can ask for more curry without any extra charge.
