Newly opened place near fun republic. Went here for lunch on a weekday. It was quite empty.

We were quite disappointed because being a brewery, they did not have their freshly brewed beers. They had happy hours going on and initially they told us it's applicable on few domestic beers but later declined and said , it was only on kingfisher.
This was quite disappointing as we specially went to taste their inhouse beers.

Food quantity is really huge. We ordered nachos and French fries. We were very full with these two dishes itself that couldn't order anything more.
The place is quite big to accommodate lot of people and groups as well.

Dude this place is one of my fav hangouts with my friends . Ambience is very much relaxing
Too good brewed beer German is my hot favorite here and it tastes too good must try for beer lovers they have variety of them which depends on every beer lover ofcourse .Service fab, Coming to Food Starters a must But only if you order right the evening is incomplete with same Fish finger chips, Chicken Fajita qasidella,Chicken tenders are one of the starters to hog on ... The other dishes goes perfect only if you are in mood for one

It's next to Fun republic . The ambience is cool and nice this place also has happy hours till 8 everyday . One should definitely try their fresh brewed beer and their flavoured beers . The food is OK and needs a lot of improvement . The place has some amazing groovy music and definitely Bollywood Tracks on Saturday .

Friday the 13th 2016
Went to the Pump Room Was on a no alcohol diet since January with an exception of a small tequila liquor at JW Dashanzi (review later).
It was quite empty and just a little crowd. Nice ambience with one wall full of the microbrewery tanks.

So tried out the three tasters which were available.
Kunal liked the german Bavarian Vice and i liked the belgian Smooth Hopperator (description in clicks)
We just ordered one chicken Tenders dish which was got for two hungry people.

Next Kunal ordered a Deconstructed Chicken steak with mashed potatoes which good for two people.

As usual I ordered a BBQ ribs which was succulent.
I also could not finish the same.
The prices were reasonable at about 500 per dish.
The waiters need to be a bit trained as they were a bit clueless about the menu
Ended up walking home to reduce some calories.
A must visit except the music was pretty load LOL I must be getting OLD

I went with a group of friends and we found it to be a bit expensive when it came to drinks, even though it was happy hours! We reached close to 8 and the place seemed very dull and lifeless. Although I have been told by people that the place is good if you are planning to go late (I.e. 11pm or later)

Yes this was recommended and taken by my friend where I wasn't convinced that much from the brew drinks they are providing however you just can't decide a place on a parameter where this place is providing mouth watering dishes and ambiance is lively !! We tried only Belgium Beer which is good but they have 4-5 other flavors as well. Slowly with the beers, you will swing into the music and some popular choices played by DJ which tends to bring every one up from their seats to show some moves... :) Overall a good choice and I liked it!!!!
Ishita Chaudhary
Only been here a couple of times. Ambiance is decent though I wish the seating was a little more comfortable. Good beer - we tried a bunch based on the server's recommendations and were not disappointed. Try the Michelada and the Beerjito if you're in the mood for somethingng different.

We didn't like the food. They had a good variety and we probably didn't order the right things - their Sliders and steak / chicken tenders were underwhelming and didn't taste quite right. Even the mains had the same issue - undercooked and with a weird underlying flavour that we didn't like. Could be entirely a personal bias.

All in all a decent place with a great location that needs to improve its food to work.

Food - 2.5/5
Drinks - 4/5
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5

The house of beer
The pump ambience looks extraordinary and is most suitable for the huge beer tag
Service very good
Tried Cheese chili fries, tastes a lil bit weird could be avoided
Don't exit the place without a pint of beer xx

The pump room, a beer brewing place in andheri was the next we wanted to try out. We walked in Saturday night a lil early so as to get in some place. The place was already thumping with music and had a rustic ambience. There were huge barrels and beer pumps all over. We were given three beer their own brewed to taste in shot glasses for us to make a choice. Although they had a good choice of menu with drinks from wines to cocktails which had beer cocktails too we thought of trying their brewed beer one by one. We also tried the wines that they had on the list. And we weren't disappointed with any of them . The food were big sharing plates which were sufficient to go along with the drinks. The portions were a no compromise. Their medi plate was a good assortment of various bites and chicken tenders and wings were good too. Quite enjoyed the place a must recommend and a must revisit on my list.

I, once chose The Pump Room, on a Friday night and it was good. DJ played some good beats. Food was okay and the drinks were good. The interiors surely give you a feel of a typical brewery. Would suggest a try!
Shweeta Poojary
Loved this place !! Tried the newtons cider ( apple infused beer ) and the baverian ice , which is a german wheat beer .. refreshing !! The happy hours are from noon till 8:00 pm đŸ»đŸ»đŸ˜đŸ˜ !! Music is good and the set up is amazing.. the huge micro brewery is at the backdrop giving this place a rustic feel !! The service is prompt and the staff courteous .Tried the chicken wings only and that was divine !! The flavour was intense .. spicy and tangy at the same time ! Probably one of the best wings i have had in a long time !!

If you're a #beer fanatic, this is THE place to be! All their beers are freshly brewed and flavourfulđŸș
Besides that, they also have an elaborate bar menu (obviously) with a few molecular drinks & #yummy stuff in their food menu as well!đŸœ #NomNom
And, the ambience screams 'It's #party time!'💃

First look gives you an amazing large pub feeling and it truly lives to its ambience, great wood work and large beer brewing cans are visible. The food and drinks are good. However on the flip side they always run out of fresh brewed beer. Do plan and visit, good chill out place with friends and someone special!!
Devendra Sanghavi
My fav brewery in Andheri and my most visited one in Mumbai. They had 5 beers on the menu at reasonable price. Food and music was good. Good going guys.
Vinita More
The coffee beer is superb! Strong and not sweet just the way I like it. The German beer is fresh, mild and tastes good. The sides are average. Overall a nice place to chill.

Had a decent experience @ The Pump Room.. The beer was fine.. The place is great and the service is really friendly and polite.. Only problem was being a beer factory or so to say they don't have a lot of variety.. But will visit the place again soon..đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

It is a heaven for Beer lovers! They have their own brewery and you can ask for small tasting samples of any beer you like. The place has an electrifying ambience. Only the dance floor could be much bigger than it is now. Food served is good. Service is good too. I personally loved their brewed beer and beer lovers can totally look out for this place!

If you love ambience more than beer it's a great choice to go, great DJ, AMAZING interior. It works on an entry fee system. Must go with friends to catch up on a match. Beer is fine, food is alright.
Manav
This place thumps on a Saturday night. It's got some good music factor , a nice pumped up ambience like the name suggests , you have these huge pump type cylinders at the corner. Their biggest selling drink I saw was their beer with a fusion of peach in it if I'm correct , ordered for their nibbles too that included pepper ginger baby corn and their nachos tex mex both were just yum ! The good part is that even on a crowded Saturday you can still find a place to atleast sit and enjoy the food and the drinks Along. It's pumping at the end with the music and the drinks !!
Priyal Desai
I really loved its ambience and service. The DJ is quite good as well. I had their wheat beer which was really smooth and good, And one of their chicken starters which was good as well. The only drawback I found was that though they had 4 beers in their menu, they were only serving 2! By the way they give testers so that you can choose your beer accordingly.
Khushnaaz Karbhari
A nice place to chill. Good food n great service. They have a good variety of beer to choose from. I would like to go back again. Only issue is if u have such great music make some space for a dance floor.
Prashant Kandari
Amazing ambience... Crisp beer and lovely accompaniment... The pump room is surely a must visit place... However on the day I visited with my friends (at around 7.30) I could only choose from 3 beer's (out of which one was dark ale) off their 6 craft beer mentioned on the menu ... Sorry I take away point for that... Although i am still unsure if you brew it there or order it... Belgian wit is the most common type of craft beer which I believe should be available at all times.. Any ways to sum it up.. The staff is great , food is good , beer is fresh and crisp.. I hope u guys keep other flavours of beer in check next time.. Coz that's the whole point of coming to the pump room to get loaded on craft beer.
VFM!!

Went to this place with my colleagues on a friday evening. It was surprisingly empty as we landed an hour before the happy hour was slated to end. We had their signature beers (which are really good). On the nibbles front, the pepper garlic chicken, paneer, etc. was good. Fish was strictly so-so. Also had nachos.
The service is very good and prompt. For an hour or so, the music was also good - nice retro, classic rock was playing softly in the background. Gradually as the place started filling up, the "music" rose to a deafening "thump thump" kind of crap - my back against the periphery glass window was vibrating like anything. After a few moments of enduring this, I found myself outside riding back home.
Good place, nice nibbles, superb beer.
Rutvik Trivedi
Great place to hangout... Abit costly.. But still a place to have great time... Helpful staff n they treat you lyk u were his old chap... Had an amazing eve.✌

Excellent place for freshly brewed beer and good food. The ambience is excellent and service is fabulous. They have a good selection of beer and allow you to taste before ordering. Go during their happy hours ... they offer a 1 on 1

Sitting in the The Pump Room, Andheri. Terrible experience as of now. Have got 2 chipped glasses for my drinks. Starter ordered not served in 30 plus minutes. Checked and found that order still not placed.
Pranita Bajoria
The behaviour of the staff makes it almost impossible to not visit the place again. Great food. Great ambience. The staff is well behaved and the service takes your heart away.

Must visit for Beer lovers, this brewery serves some really good crafted beers. They would offer you a range of samples where you can select and order your preference. Not just beer but they have a good range of delicacies in the menu with decent taste and quantity. The place has nice ambience and service is good. Food and alcohol are moderately priced, you get a good value for the money you pay.

Highly recommended.
Cheers!

Pump room is a great ambience place in andheri, and if you've got yourself into it on a happy hour then you may realise that you've been landed to the best place in the location. Their signature beers and Mexican burger is a must try. I visit here quite often and it's never a failure on service ;)
Veena Shobhani
I will give 4 rating to pump room. It was a good experience, enjoyed throughly. Good music, good food and good beer, all this makes it worth for money. We would recommend German Beer, slicers (perfect blend of flavours) and Soute Veg (healthy food).
Bhavia Adesara
We were 6 of them and the waiter let us taste the beer and order to our preference . We ordered a pitcher of "newtons cider(apple cider)" , "empire strikes back(English pale ale)" ,Dark Vader (oatmeal stout) for snacking we ordered chilly cheese fries . Overall experience was good. The bill amounted to 3400 which was reasonable for 6 of us.
Ambiance: 4
Beer : 4
Service. :4
I cannot rate the food by just ordering the fries.
Priyesh
Visited this place on a Thursday evening . It was less crowded . The service was quick , They have their own brewery, the beers are too good though i liked the apple cider very much . The quality of food is also good. The best part was the dj who played some good old songs. Must visit
Arpit Mittal
A really good place with a good ambiance and serves good food as well. Service is quick, staff is friendly. One of the cheapest options on a weekday. Apple cider is a must try.

Coming straight to the review of this place-
First we ordered Water Melon Mojito and Peach flavoured tequila shot.
1) Water Melon Mojito was Good- The balance between the sweetness and sourness of the drink was very good. The only problem was it didn't have too much of water melon flavour. If it would have been a normal drink then this would have been outstanding.
Thee peach flavoured tequila shot was okay. As no dominant flavor of peach was there in it.

Coming to the dishes-
2) We ordered "Pump Room Fries"-
The fries were nothing extra ordinary. The size of the fries were really small. The fries are usually served cheese sauce and barbecue sauce over it. I like the fries to be nice and crispy till the very end so I told the manager to bring the sauces differently in a bowl.
But I didn't get barbecue sauce with it. Only the Cheese Sauce was served.

3) Next we ordered was Chicken Tenders
This dish was extremely tasty and was very much similar to KFC's popcorn chicken.
The chicken was very nice and tender. The coating was also very tasty and crisp.
It was served with a spicy and sweet sauce which went well with the tenders.
The only thing I thought it lacked was the amount of chicken in proportion with the crisp layer over it. The chicken was a little less as compared to the coating over it.

4) Next dish we called for was Shrimp Cocktail.
The dish had small prawns instead of Black Tiger Prawns and the flavour of herb was almost nowhere to be tasted in it. It was served in a cocktail glass in a spicy cocktail sauce which tasted like a spicy mayonnaise sauce.

5) For the main course we decided to call for Lamb Chop Naga.
The lamb chops were accompanied with the lentil of the day, bread and cucumber and tomato tartare.
The lamb chops were Raw and couldn't be swallowed easily.
The spiciness of the dish was extremely strong. Although I love spicy food but the amount of spice in this dish was so much that the area around my lips was burning continuously and also my eyes started to water. This happened by eating only a few small bites of the lamb chops. Naga chill is very spicy, but this was spicy in a harmful way.
Nothing extra ordinary was there in the bread and the lentil of the day.

Two stars are for the dishes and drinks which were good. Also for the ambience, music and staff over there. :)

Pump room during happy hours on a weekday is a steal. Really good experience at this microbrewery. The cider and wheat beer were really good. Staff were very helpful and over all a really great experience.
Gaurav Narayan Singh
The place provide you great sitting ambience along with their signature beers. A decent place that has good blend of music. The services are below the mark which lead to disappointment.

Food 8
Ambience 8
Service. 5
Value for. Money. 7
Overall 6
The Little Foodlet
Great ambience. Good music. Decent food. Delicious beer. Need I say more?
Since it is a brewery, they have their own array of beer. You can taste them and then order accordingly.
The service was prompt. The staff tried customizing dishes to our suit our taste. And they did all of this with a constant smile.
Must have (Drink): Apple Cider Beer (image).
Must have (Food): Fried crunchy chicken on a bed of fries (image).
Will I be returning? Absolutely!!

Just near fun public ...
The 1st thing I want to mention is that they have amazing staff ... quite helpful and polite !!! Beautiful ambience very well made up place . dark lights with certain areas lit up. Massive big bar which is also well well made up. Food is outstanding with great quantity and well presented and garnished. Music a thumps up crazy Saturday night.
Kshitij Gokhale
The ambience is great and you realize that immediately as you enter! A wonderful place for beer lovers! They play decent music to which you can sit and enjoy your beer.

Baverian Vice, The Empire Strikes Back are good (haven't had all).
The food is tasty as well and comes in a good quantity. We ordered Chicken Diavolo Wings, Pepper Garlic Chicken, Chicken Fajita Quesidella, Nachos and Bruschetta.
Rujuta Karnik
The Pumproom welcomes you amidst a busy commercial hub near Fun Republic. Once you enter, you're surprised by the huge space with beer tanks on one side and glass on the other.

They have an interesting menu that is divided into small plates, shareable starters, mains along with salads, burger, sandwiches, pizza and pastas.

We started our lunch with Pumproom Fries served with a house pale ale beer cheese sauce. This was followed by PumpRoom Beer Burger which was ground lamb, beer caramelised onions and lip-smacking mayonnaise among other things.

PumpRoom unlike the other breweries in the vicinity brew their own beer in-house. An eatery by day turns into a vibrant watering hole by sundown... a must visit for sure!
Shir
Really liked this place. Have been here twice and have already started recommending friends who are eager to try out new places.
The place is quite big , not at all congested . Crowd is amazing and energetic. Music is great and loud so you need to really yell if you are looking for a place to talk to your friends.
Service is also really good though you have to search them as they are always on the run.
The staff is also quite polite and friendly
Deesha Gala
the breweries enhanced the ambience of the pump room.. music guy was experimenting with the songs and this took so long that v got bored.. staff is quite interactive.. food tastes good but took really long to come..
Astha Pareek
It was a good place. I did not eat much here but The ambience and the staff was good. If you are a beer lover you should try freshly brewed beers here. And mocktails are also good. And its value for money and even on weekend evening u will get happy hours. Cheers...
Shubham Jangid
Been there on a lazy Sunday. Although the service was good had a horrible experience with starters and snacks. The collection of beers was good. Music was not very loud maybe coz the crowd was less. Overall the food needs to be improved alottt.

I attended a private event hosted at Pump room on 31st August, due to media interviews there was no music and the place was well lit up not to blame them. Well now let's get straight to the point Food pizza, chilli paneer and all other starters were served cold and the pizza was horribly bland for a moment I thought of meeting the chef and asking him if he's not paid the salary. The event was hosted by my brother in law and the food was a major turn off. A pub should take care when they get a good business
Swapnil Chavan
Best place for beer lovers they serve you different kind of beer

Talking about rates they are suting your pocket

All together food is good and ambiance is awsome

Pump room is a nice place to chill with friends music is good.. Had been there on a week day so the was hardly any pol so was littl dull the food was ok and felt it was quit reasonable as i am non alcoholic can't really comment about beer n all...
Divya Karkera
I honestly visited this place thrice cause of DC Latino Social Nights... I generally do not like beer places who do not serve other brands and only stick to in house brewed... :(... But that's my personal choice..
Bar Counter guys r sweet, service is good... Food is average...
Swati Chitalia
Someone might be surprised that teetotalers like us are in The Pump Room!
However, it was a good experience. Both the mocktails were awesome. The food though we just ordered nachos and chilly cheese toast were also good. The chilly cheese toast is more like a small pizza, with capsicum tomatoes and little cheese toasted on a bread.
The waiters are helpful and always smiling.
The ambience was good too!
We had been on a Thursday evening so it was almost empty and the music was not loud too. Maybe it gets crowded and noisy as the evening advances!!
Milito Mohsin
Music was too loud .... may be they are promoting their speakers . . Rest all ok... this loud music spoiled everything , we were actually not able to talk , everyone was screaming lol...ibhave checked others comments everyone is complaining about the same issue LOUD MUSIC please tc of that .

Here's what this "room" had "pumped" last evening. (17/8/2016). I've frequented this place and I love the courtesy of the people who take care, the DJ, Nick. They've all been very good to me and I've always had fun. So I came in here expecting the same. Sure they all delivered as expected. Until things went wrong. There was lovely music and the evening was just getting better. Beers kept going in. All of a sudden the fun evening turned bitter. The top of the line sound system was blaring with poor quality sound due to some ancient Hindi music. Now I've no problem with such songs but there's a mood for each type of music. If you play the wrong genre for a certain mood, it becomes a mood kill. The usual DJ and the servers were powerless here as there was this obnoxious man enforcing music from the days of yonder onto the crowd who was chilling to good music played initially by the previous DJ. I suppose from the days before things got rusty in his system. He promptly told me that if I don't enjoy the music he played I could get out from there. Now I sure will return to pump room but it'll do great if you have such items pumped out from the room that is pump room. You just can't play songs from a certain genre and then jump into some old ass numbers and call them "retro". Respect the sound quality that your speakers offer. Old Hindi songs do not have the recording quality and hearing them on high volume from such speakers kills the eardrums. Respect the crowd that comes there. Respect what they wanna hear. Peace out.
Prajakta M
Decent place, went there on weekday so was almost empty, though crowd started coming in bit late.
We weren't much hungry and just wanted to catch up so didn't try much of their spread. Tried hummus and pita which was really good and alcohol was decent. Staff was polite and attentive. Ambience is really good.
Foodiee Maniac
They made friendship day more memorable day for us! Indeed a place to hog and drink! Worth going there once. Starters and pizza delicious. Ambience is really good and one more place added to hangout wd friends on my list.
Bon AppeTEMPT
Well happened to drop here late night, after a movie, for a grub and a drink. Very well priced booze, great variety of beer. The food is a little on expensive side... But the taste and portions are great, so it is totally worth it. The ambience is rustic and cozy. Love the dj and the music he plays, since it sounds perfect to the ears... Different from all the hard rock and extra loud songs that are being played everywhere else, these days. Must visit for everyone.
Vishal Balsara
Ok! One thing I couldn't understand- why was the music so loud?
That was the only negative for the day! All 3 brewed beers were good - Belgian, German (Bavarian) and Oat:dark beer.
Although Apple Cider was very average and didn't taste like normal apple cider,
Food was good- 4 way pizza was worth it, and chilli fries was average.
Service is good though and manager was cooperative.
Divi
They hav a good collection of brewed beer. We went in for quick drink and ordered the dark vader which was very nice if u like stout, the German wheat beer had a nice punch, the belgian was a bit bitter for my taste, the apple cider was nearing becoming vinegar and the beerjito was amazing. We ordered the pizza was which good but the cheesy fries were ok. The problem wit the place was the seating cos it was very uncomfortable cos of no backrest. The music too was a bit too loud for my taste.
Swaroopa Sanap
We went here to try something new. It was fantastic. The margherita was delicious and the Apple Cider was yummy. The best part was they suddenly started playing these lovely Hindi songs like Aao Huzoor and Pehla Nasha on the PROJECTOR. It was superb. I'm definitely going there more. One of those pleasant surprise places.
Rohit Gulati
Personally I didn't expect to order food at places like these. But the few appetizers I ordered were very well made and delicious. They went really well with their crafted beers which I would definitely recommend to everyone.
Krupa Sonecha
Terrible food. Mushroom open sandwich was almost spoilt. Rest of the food just bearable. Go to this place only if you do not have any other options on a Saturday night. Utter disaster.
Malkaniyuvaan
So I went to pump room on a Friday night(last night) and wasn't really happy. The ambience was good, the decor and stuff was good, service was good too but the food was horrible, the fish was stale, the music was not that great. I don't think I would ever go back to this place. Really disappointed with, well mainly the food.
Mother Of Foodies
There are breweries that make you wanna chug beer. And then there are some that put you off it. The Pump Room falls in the latter. Look for a chill out place on a Saturday night, while everything else will be packed, you'll always find a place here. But please don't fall for it. It's a booby trap.

We called for the Newton Cider with No Sex On The Beach and some nachos to go along with. Beer and mock tail came first but the nachos were nowhere in sight. Not for a good 1 hour. Chicken chat was another order that came in 45 mins. Pretty average if you ask. With service being bad and food average at best. We still thought the dessert might save the day but no. This chocolate dessert was so dense and hard one could've almost used a dagger to get through it. All in all, a pretty bad experience.
Ivin Viegas
Good food, great beer at reasonable prices & amazing customer service.

If u love craft beers u should check this place. MUST TRY : Baverian Vice & Dark Vader.

Shrimp cocktail & carabeef chilli are absolutely delicious.

Very industrial & cool ambience.

Easily accessible from link road next to Fun Republic & open until 1am.
Indiyatrik
Went here after a business meeting with colleagues. We were lucky to step in just as it had opened at noon. Though noon time might not be the best time to drink up, the place was so inviting and completely empty that we gave in to temptation to unwind after the stresses of the meeting.

The Pump Room is a big and spacious pub which instantly draws one in with its brewery tanks. The beautiful ambience puts one at ease immediately and you wouldn't want to leave without a peg or two despite the odd hours.

The highly pleasing staff helped us with the orders as they indulgently enticed us into trying their in-house concoctions. Trial shots of three of their in-house beers led ua to order two of them. (Apologies for not remembering the names!) They were followed with regular beers and whiskey.

To munch on, we ordered Corn Crusted Shrimps, Tripple Decker Club Sandwich, Hummus and Pita Bread, and Mashed Potatoes with Cheese. Must say they were very filling and satisfying.

This is a great option for large groups and casual get-togethers. The service is wonderful and adds to your experience, making it unforgettable and cherished. It will end up a little heavy on the pocket, so it's a place you would want to reserve for great times with friends.

Certainly a place I recommend and will return to.

RECOMMENDATIONS:-
Pump Room Cheese Fries
Nachos
German Wheat Beer on tap
Passion Fruit Ginger Mojito

AVOID:-
Apple Cider
Oatmeal Stout (Dark)
Belgium Witbier
Chocolate Orange Martini
Hummus

Refusing to join the maddening crowd at Fun Republic Social after a long, tiring day, we started looking for nearby places where we can get a table and enjoy a peaceful drink or two. At 8.30 pm on a Saturday night, Pump Room was the only place which had room to accommodate the seven of us. The music was good, the décor was welcoming and more importantly, we got a table! There were quite a few vacant tables actually.
The servers were quick to take our order but soon disappeared. The best looking thing on the menu was their craft beers priced at Rs.1000 per pitcher (after tax). That makes about 4 glasses. They promptly offered a tasting of four of their beers (they had run out of the Pale Ale).
The first one, Apple Cider was curiously bitter. The dark oatmeal stout was highly disappointing, as was the Belgium Witbier. The only thing worth calling for was the regular German style wheat beer, nice and crisp.
A friend who ordered the Chocolate Orange Martini found it to be too sweet. The Passion fruit ginger Mojito was good but a little watered down: it could have had More alcohol.
Coming to the food, we stuck to the appetizers. The Nachos and Fries (with cheesy dip) were good accompaniments to the drinks. The Hummus was bland and weird.. avoidable.
As the night progressed, more people poured in and the vibe was fun. Wish the food and drinks were better. Average price per head with 1-2 drinks and some finger foods, Rs.1200.
Lamb (identity changed to keep secrecy) was juicy and tender.
Lamb Sauteed were just perfect.
Chicken Tenders were perfectly spiced.
Malabar Carabeef chilli was one amazing option.
French Fries were an absolute treat.
Chilli Cheese Fries have minced meat topped with it. I love this place!! Absolutely lip smacking!! Also their hummus platter is tasty!!
Just didn't like the Mac and cheese, probably the worst I've ever had.
I am rating it 4 coz I love the ambience, food and service!! Will visit again!! :)

THE PUMP ROOM is not just another place to enjoy crafted beer!

AMBIANCE: 4.5/5 – THE PUMP ROOM is strategically located very well, next to Cinepolise Cinemas. It can easily be spotted from a distance. Exteriors are whole wood which give a very rustic look to the place. The 3 hand pumps on the stairs go very well with the theme. Interiors are very spacious with a good ceiling height. Metal table and benches go very well with the wooden theme. Place is decorated with framed quotes on beer. All the beer kettles are placed in a row, which looks very good and someone is always working on them. Overall ambiance is inviting and gives a warm feel to come and have a glass of beer.

BEER: 4/5 – I'm surely not a connoisseur when it comes to judge a beer, despite I can order well after looking at the ingredients & process of fermentation. I tried their 4 beers out of which I liked Dark Vader - Oatmeal Stout. I really liked it's colour with it's rich taste and notes of coffee, caramel & chocolate. It's neither too sweet nor to bitter and goes well very well with fried food. I just hope they have few more options to attracts more footfall.

FOOD: 3.5/5 – In terms of food, I just ordered Chicken Tenders which took some 15-20 minutes to come. Boneless chicken was deep fried in a thick & crispy batter. It was then placed over the bed of fries. It was tasty and got well along with a dark oatmeal stout. Food quality is very good and portions are bit over sized. I think another visit, were I would try more dishes would give a better conclusion on food.

SERVICE: 4/5 – Staff is very polite and i would suggest you to go with their recommendations. They are well dressed in dungarees which gels down with the theme. Service is very quick with a patience driven staff. But food took bit more time then I expected.

VALUE FOR MONEY: 4/5 – Overall, the menu looks well priced. Beers are also pocket friendly and if you are in there around happy hours, it's a steal. I just feel that few dishes in mains are bit over priced, but I haven't tried them so couldn't put up my opinion.

CONCLUSION: 4/5 – THE PUMP HOUSE is a new micro brewery which looks promising, feels right and serves some good beer. I would love to visit again to taste some more beer and then I can come to my final conclusion. This place is in my top VISIT AGAIN list & I would love to do so.

Shocking watering hole in a busy place. Its more like a brewing plant. Must try their in house brewed beers. Really worth it. Liked their baverian beer. Very good and prompt service. Impressed! Good seating! Huge screen! AWESOME RETRO MUSIC BUT PLEASE PLAY YOUR MUSIC LOUDER! Will go for more!

Not Great crowd, Relatively empty on Saturday Night, Music was too loud, No dance floor. Has a beer factory which is Good. Food is average, portions are medium, Burgers n Pizzas are their speciality. Price wise moderately expensive.

Fantastic place to spend a evening good beers on tap fast service good choice of starters and food .try everything bit pricy but worth every penny the decor is among the best in class love the tanks behind the bar over all 9/10

The first impression of this place was... Atleast someone got the music volume right. But soon after it was 10 they lost it. Food was ok, expensive though... We had to leave early as the volume was just too high for us to even hear each other.

Was highly disappointed with this brewery as we were not served any freshly brewed beer and had to order Budweiser. The food and service were nonetheless very good. The ambience is that of a typical andheri west brewery of young office going people. The music get to too loud post 11pm. No separate smoking area. Wasn't very satisfactory.

Been here on Saturday Night .. the place was not at all packed.. it was empty even if its being saturday night... ambiance was great..gives the feel of beer factory... music was loud and mostly Bollywood songs.. dance floor too...we ordered pizza which was superb and quite big as per the cost... also tried some drinks...overall place was nice...cost in menu will be less but be ready to pay later 6 heavy taxes which they charge at the time of final bill...

Another new micro brewery in Absheri West..there are way too many beer bars in this area to compare..pump room is just another cool place next to fun republic.A decent place to hang around with you collegues and friends .nothing different from any other brewery ,they offer good music and average food.dimly lit with high chairs and a well done up bar, it is just another hangout..decent and well managed but cant be compared to the Doolally if you reallly want a fun trendy and sophisticated outing.

I will go back to this place only for their Long Island iced teas the best in Mumbai so far !!! And their pump room fries !!! We ordered their bruschetta and chicken tenders but they were nothing great.

Live music on Thursday 1 big reason to go back frequently. They still don't brew their own but have a decent variety of Beers. The food is good, the ambience, the location, the Live music makes it a great place to hang out with friends. However its not cheap

THE PUMP ROOM WAS A SPONTANEOUS DECISION TAKEN MY FRIEND IN A LAST MINUTE DINNER PLAN ...THE AMBIANCE OF THE PLACE IS GOOD AND SPECIALIZE IN THEIR OWN BREWED BEER ,HENCE THE NAME. UNFORTUNATELY THE DAY WE VISITED THEIR BEER CHILLERS WERE NOT FUNCTIONAL WHICH WAS A MOOD SPOILER ...THE FOOD ITEMS OFFERED BY THEM ARE GOOD IN TASTE AND NOT VERY GREAT IN QUANTITY AS EXPECTED AS ITS NOT A FINE DINE RESTAURANT ... BUT THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS WHICH WE ORDERED ...THE PRICES FOR ALL THE ITEMS ON THE MENU ARE NOT VERY POCKET FRIENDLY EITHER , WHICH IS A LITTLE OBVIOUS AS ITS NOT UR REGULAR BEER JOINT.. ITS A GOOD PLACE TO VISIT SOMETIME ,I CAN NOT SAY ABOUT THEIR BEERS AS I HAD NONE ....

We picked up The Pump Room based on the budget shown on the page, which was not justified really. This place is welcoming, with ample of space, ambience is amazing and decor does the talking of how gorgeous this place is. It got the rustic appeal and there are frames being nailed talking about beers. There are huge vessels sitting behind the bar. What's interesting is that they've carried over the design cues from the vessels themselves to the furniture. We had been to this place on one of their salsa nights. It was absolutely electric on the day! Everyone dancing to the tunes of Spanish numbers really made it a night to remember. Their food has a bit of room for improvement.

Ladies and Gentlemen. This is the WORSE restaurant I have been to. More poignant than even Punjab Grill. Right from the deplorable guy at the gate, to the malignant manager at the reception, to the pitiful waiter who throws glasses in your face.

Four months ago, we entered The Pump Room on a cold, booze perfect night, picking this place over Dollally and Harry's. But what a blunder on my part it was. Little did I know that it would take me 4 longs months to get over this pest of a restaurant, which gets down the ratings of the Mumbai food scene on an average.

The waiter guy took our orders for beer samples and some grub we felt would go good with the beers. He returned, 20 minutes later, with five beers clumsily poured into cutting chai glasses.

The Beers.
If there was a bigger disappointment than various scams our country is known for, it had to be the Beers at the Pump room. Half of them looked like someone fermented piss and poured it in glass to give to patrons, and the other looked like fox's vomit mixed generously with algae.
The apple cider beer was too light and watery for my taste. It is apple flavoured water with a hint of beer, almost non-existent. Light yellow pour, white foamy head. Flavor is light, watery, cheap beer. Beer flavored water. The ale is a Light brown color, almost no head. Aroma of soap, sour apples, cheap champagne. Flavor is sweet, sour and with some earth in the finish. Really dirty. Hefeweizen was clear yellow color, small vanishing white head. Light papery, rice aroma. Very watery palate. Corn, rice, harsh, some fruity notes. Not the worst beer in the world, but among them. And then the Alligator stopped. Cause the waiter asked for the third time which beer did we want. The Alligator doesn't walk out of places ever, but this was bad, and this was the worse, and the reptile walked out. Heading over to what is among the most wondrous places in Mumbai - Dollally Taproom.

Decided to have my first micro brewery experience, so thought of trying the pump room which I had heard a lot about, but it turned out to be a bigger disappointment than batman vs superman.
It's the only microbrewery in the city where you don't get microbrews.
On asking the waiter I was told for some reasons microbrews was not available today.
Luckily the nachos were good so m giving a 2.5.
They did have happy hours on horse piss#kingfisher#tvf
The waiters were dressed pretty shabily, but turns out they were playing a pun around the word pump room # Petrol pump, good pun there bro, good pun
No fresh brew yet.... Slightly expensive for just casual drinks.... Nice ambience... Service is good. Staff is courteous .. Food is good...

A really nice to place for drinks and enjoyment. .a little overpriced and definitely not 900 for 2 with alcohol.the service, interior and music is worth a mention but few few dishes..especially in veg.
Affamé Et Assoiffé Yoda
There are multiple outcrops of microwbreweries in the city, so naturally not all of them would really end up working out well for them. This is one of them.

First up, the price range given on Zomato is ridiculously deceptive because even with Happy Hours, the food prices are unprecedented for being mere bar grubs. Domestic alcohol is reasonably cheap during happy hour but that's about it. Outside of happy hour, it's not worth the expense. We tasted all of their beers to find one suitable to our palate but literally all of them tasted like some weird form of watered-down beer. None of us liked any of them.

Service is the only saving grace here but otherwise, the place is loud, filled with raucous crowd and the food prices are madness for the quality and spread. I would recommend editing this on Zomato. Best leave this place aside.

900 for 2 is kind of deceiving at this place. We went here because glocal was full and we didn't wanted to wait. Its overpriced. Their brewery wasn't working which was a great turn off. Hoped we had confirmed it first. Their french fries are 250 bucks. Oh my veggie pizza was nice with the choice of toppings given to us. But again charged at 400. That's too much. The only thing saved the night was their service. Would really not prefer visiting here again unless they serve their in house beers. Surely there are many other options in the surrounding.

Just loved the cider beer when I was there, the next time I visited on 9th April the collar had a problem which is why I couldn't treat myself to the brewed drink, overall a great place, and loved the Malabar beef chilly and the French fries,,, will always come back just for the different brews especially the cider.... My fav

This restaurant has nice ambience, great music and wide range of drinks. The only thing which is not so great are the starters, especially vegetarian starters. Overall good place to hangout with friends.

Visited this place on Saturday night . Chill scenes and got a table soon too , if not then u can have a place at the bar too . Beer and food are quite nice but price is on the higher side , as u can get same beers cheaper somewhere else . But overall it's a good place to relax

This place has amazing music and good cocktails and drinks. Their food has a bit of room for improvement. The food is good but they can do better. The ambience is really interesting and welcoming but there are too many tables. According to me they should get rid of a few tables and give a little space to dance as they play really good music but it was a sad thing to see a place empty on a Friday night at 11pm. I do hope it gets better eventually. But overall is was a decent time.

Just near fun public ...
The 1st thing I want to mention is that they have amazing staff ... quite helpful and polite !!!
The food is good .. They have flavoured beers too.. We tried strawberry and guava beer .. That was something new ..
Overall a good place to hangout with your friends
A 4 month old joint, but sadly today the chiller had broken down so had to have bottled beer. The food portion is small but overall gd ambience and would be a gd place for freshly brewed beer. Perhaps next time for the brewed beers. N hopefully the staff could be more attentive.

Good ambience. Looks like a small outlet from outside, but is quite spacious with different kinds of seatings - plush sofas, high chairs and normal seating. Decent music and dark lighting increases the charm.
Food is a bit expensive for the amount on plates but tasty nonetheless. We ordered cheese gobble (spanish style pani puri) and flat bread (indian pizza). They brew their own beer, but the machines were not in use when we visited the place. Free shots are provided to women on ladies night (i got a shot of Kamikaze) while happy hours extend till 8 in the evening. Service is a bit slow.
Nilay Mohgaonkar
One of the ideal places to have sufficient beer without throwing away too much cash. The best part is that happy hours ate till 8 p.m., which somewhat helps people like me who have to stay till late in office. We ordered three dishes:
1. Chicken chaat - A dish they recommend but I didn't find it that special.
2. Deconstructed Chicken Steak - Recommended in Zomato and it was lovely.
3. BBQ Spare ribs - Since I love pork and another delicious dish.
The disappointing part was that we had specially visited to try their in-house beers which we wasn't available due to some technical problem in their machinery. This is one place which I will revisit without fail (but only after enquiring about the availability of in-house beers).

Chilled out restaurant with good ambience, good service and good food.

Brewery at a popular Mumbai location, automatically makes it a place frequented by young crowd. Good music, dim lighting with wooden high chairs and bar sitting...makes this place an instant like for youth as well as beer enthusiasts.

Food was amazing here, everything from the starters to the main course. Chicken chat, destructed chicken steak, ribs...all simply too good and delicious. The sauce in destructed chicken could have been a little more though.

Friendly staff with food service. Over all, had a good time here.

It’s the beginning of the IPL season, much awaited I must say as it gives us a chance to get together with a few friends while we sip our beers. Given the rapidly growing breweries in Mumbai, it was only justified for us to make an early reservation and be on time to grab a good seat before the match starts. The Pump Room (TPR) features as one of the suggested places on Zomato and we make a reservation for 7 PM.

Anticipating a good match over the fresh house brewed beers, we reach only to sheer disappointment of being informed that the chillers are out of order. Which means, no house brew for us. Further, to make matters worse, after placing order for a pitcher, we are informed that pitchers aren’t being served for the sheer lack of stock of other beer!! I mean this is utter nonsense and ridiculous! Heights of unprofessionalism and poor management. First, they should have informed in advance by proactively calling the patrons who have made reservations about unavailability of house brew and limited stock of other beer. Secondly, they should have basic sense of compensating customers with a pleasant experience at the least whilst having disappointed them already.

Anyways, we ordered for couple of red wines, beers, whiskey, Bailey’s Irish, and beer shots. Pretty much the standard stuff and no points to TPR for any special presentation whatsoever. While we were hoping the beer shots (Irish Car Bomb and Nightmare on Fairy Street) to be interesting but it turned out to be pretty much wasteful.

For the palette, we start with ‘Fish n Chips’ and ‘Nachos Tex Mex’. The Fish n Chips is Basa smeared with some beer (no distinct taste tho) served with seasoned French fries (crisp and well-seasoned) and tartar sauce (nice and rich tangy flavor). The Basa was fresh and very well cooked; tasted good with the chips and tartar sauce. Nachos is served in a hefty portion size comprising of loads of veggies – beans, zucchini, onion, jalapenos, bell peppers; and healthy amounts of cheese sauce and sour cream. The corn tortilla chips were crisp and the toppings were rich and flavored. A very well made dish.

Next up, we ordered for ‘Veg Panini’ and ‘Chili Cheese Fries’. The Veg Panini sandwich was made out of Focaccia bread containing caramelized onions and tomato seasoned with buffalo mozzarella cheese and basil pesto sauce. The bread was soft and the stuffing was perfect balance of tangy and sweet pesto-basil combination evened out by the cheese. The presentation too was good. The Chili Cheese Fries are NON-VEGETARIAN comprising of a hefty amount of lamb Chili sauce poured over the fries which makes them a bit soggy but every bit worth! While there are other toppings like caramelized onions, tomatoes, and sour cream, the Chili lamb sauce steals the show on top of the masala fries. MUST TRY!

To close, we ordered for ‘Chili Cheese Toast’ and ‘Deconstructed Chicken Steak’. The Chili Cheese Toast is pretty much the standard stuff, the toppings comprise of caramelized onion/tomatoes/bell peppers, sprinkled with some salt and paprika. The amount of cheese could have been dearer to make the toast taste better. The Deconstructed Chicken Steak is a pleasant surprise – large sumptuous piece of roasted chicken smeared with IPA gravy that lends a strong aftertaste of beer based gravy; served with a large size portion of sautĂ©ed veggies and mashed potato to cleanse the palette. This dish is a heavy meal and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

On the ambiance, TPR has tried few things. The large barrels in which house brew is made is visible right across the bar table and makes it a pretty sight, especially how they have placed them to create an even space. The tables are made out of aluminum, which makes it look a bit cheap. Seating except for the sofas are highly uncomfortable given the high rise aluminum stool without any backrest. The lighting is dim and the music is extra-loud – typical scene at any lounge/bar. They have tried to play smart with the restroom signs – using murals of man and woman to direct patrons, what they have forgotten is that drunk patrons may get utterly confused at reading subtle signs ;) The service is pretty ordinary and servers looked hapless given the evident disappointment of all arriving patrons on unavailability of beer!

Overall, while the beer incident was highly disappointing, the food compensated for the same and we ended up having a good time.
