Illuminati is a place to visit for their asian and European cuisine with so classy vibes.
Ambience:
This place is just like dining under the stars the way interior is done outstanding blue and white lights ,basically a resto lounge which is fine dine that transforms into lounge by night with great music.
Staff is quite polite and helpful in recommending and helping out with dishes.Special thanks to Mr.Mayur who suggested some good appetizers which we tried.
So Menu comprises of European and Asian cuisines with curated cocktails and sooo good desserts.
Food we tried ,
1) Pizza Inspired Arancini:
Small arancini balls placed on pizza sauce with gratinated chesse and some parsley leaves,
it was soft and had that crisp with that perfect taste of pizza really a great appetizer.
2)Veg crystal dimsums:
Small mini dimsums stuffed with veggies topped with cherry tomatoes slices with sauce it was a delight for dimsum lovers truly blast of flavours.
3)Veg Exotic Sushi:
Sushi are always loved Illuminati has best sushi ever tried it was stuffed with all those exotic veggies with wasabi sauce served on side and some dip delicious and definitely must try.
4)Warm Capresse bruscheta:
Pretty good in presentation crispy bruscheta layered with roasted cherry tomatoes with chesse it was mild in flavours like for those who eat less spicy it had that tanginess balanced with chesse.
For Mains,
1) Veg Fried Rice with Braised broccoli and tofu gravy:
Blissful and good one, veg fried rice served with broccoli and tofu curry which very well matched with our rice as suggested by them it was light and good option to go for.
2) Three chesse baked gnocchi:
Chesse lovers this is for you.Loaded with chesse and chesse its basically gnocchi dipped in three chesse layered with spices and crispy bread stick.
Ended our meal with Apple baklava,
Served fresh pastry was hot stuffed with crushed apple and sweetner topped with rose petals and served with vanilla icecream one of the best baklava simple yet delicious.
I visited this place for my birthday. Due to a little mix up during reservation, I was a little hesitant to go. But the staff and management took great care of me and my group of friends. The food and the drinks were excellent and the music was thumping. But what elevated our experience was the excellent and courteous people. Definitely recommend. 6 stars.

@illuminatimumbai located at BKC with thousands of LED lights lighting up the ceiling will give you a feeling of dining right below the stars. The seating is luxurious with plush white sofas and velvet upholstered chairs, they use very classy cutlery and crockery which gives you a feeling of dining royally. Coming to the food, we started our meal with Vegetable crystal dumpling & Spicy Avocado Sushi which were scrumptious, next was "Rajma & Feta Squares" which were just top notch and was so good that had to be reordered. We were also served "Spiced Edamame Hummus" and we consider this to be one of our best tryouts in Fusion hummus thanks to its consistency and perfect flavors which also served with smoked aubergine and warm pita bread. Our recommendations in cocktails would be "Mr. Charming" and "Lost Boy" . After that we tried their deconstructed pineapple upside down desserts and were drooling over it all evening. Overall FRO totally recommends you to visit this place for that perfect fine dining experience. .

Firstly we started with drinks! Trust me the drinks served here are totally lit!
We ordered:
1. Heaven on Earth: This was by far one of the best watermelon mocktails I've ever had! It had a prominent taste of watermelon, passion fruit and basil. Presentation and taste 😻
2. Blue Fairy: This was basically a cocktail made up of orange, blue berry, blue pea fritters and jin. Aaah Bliss! 🤩
3. Believer: This one's not a miss! 😻 Made up of chamomile, ketel one, spiced apple and thyme. Don't forget to order this drink in case you're visiting Illuminati!
4. Secret Society: This cocktail had jim bean, pineapple, blue pea tea and egg white! This was kind average. You can miss out on this drink!
5. Pizza Inspired Arrancini: Crisp Arrancini with a base of pizza sauce and topped with veggies and grated cheese! Pizza lovers don't miss out on this! Altogether a different experience 😻
6. Spiced Edamame Hummus: Hummus made up of smoked aubergine and roasted bell peppers and served with crisp pita bread. This hummus was so so delicious 😻 it didnt taste bland at all! A must try here!
7. Braised broccoli and tofu: This was kinda soup with pieces of broccoli and tofu. A little on the milder side but yummm!
8. Exotic Veg Fried Rice: This was like normal fried rice but delicious! Rice were properly cooked and were added with so many exotic veggies! 😻
9. Roastes Vegetables & Mascarpone Crepinette: This was basically stir fried veggies in pesto sauce. Cherry tomatoes were the star in this dish 😻
10. Apple Pie Baklava: Baklava made up of Apple served with cinnamon and candy walnuts, golden raisins and vanilla icecream. The dessert was way too disappointing!

Ever heard of a Place which Serves Cocktails with Signature Drinks or what I like to call is Gourmet Cocktails. And a Place that is genuinely LITT. Well, that’s what Illuminati is. Located in. The heart of BKC. Illuminati manages to impress, woo and Tipsyfy you at the same time. Their Extensive menu manages to rotate its experience between a Pub and Tapas and keeps you impressed for almost every part of its meal.
ITs well lighted interiors and a Special Techno Dance floor already makes it one of the greatest party attractions on the day. What makes it even more better is the ambience it manages to generate and crowd it attracts to make it a wonderful spot. The cream crowd from he best commercial are in the city can be spotted here.
Their Cocktails are well thought off.
I started it off with Elixir. Ketel One which is personally my favourite vodka (I prefer it over Grey Goose) along with Hibiscus Tea and Rosehip gave a very smooth and soothing experience which is usually rare when you have a regular vodka. Topped with litchi and olive eyes this looked even better.
Then we went on with MR Charming. One of the special brandy’s only available in Illuminati. Pisco the special brandy is blended with Pineapple, Egg White, Lavender and rose. The drink is one of the strongest cocktail I’ve ever had. Pisco in general is quite hard and with the addition of egg white the foamy texture makes it a even harder cocktail which a lot of you’ll would enjoy.
Coming to the food.
Their Chilli Garlic Edamame was perfect. This added as a perfect tapas for the cocktails we were having.
Then We went on with Veg Crystal Dumpling which was just too fabulous. Initially not many places serve the crystal dumpling with such vigour and class. And these guys managed to do it well. Especially with the sauces they served along with it.
Coming down to more appetisers I went with Mac n Cheese poppers which were another one of the fancy servings here. I’ve had the same at many places but many people ended up serving a bland Mac n cheese which is disappointing but that was not the case here. The Mac n cheese were further topped with cheddar cheese powder which made it even better.
Talk about Innovative Desserts? Try their Deconstructed Pineapple Upside down. Pineapple, Whipped Cream, Caramel and some cake wonderfully presented in a Sangria Glass to give you a perfect instaworthy dessert which every photo addict would be proud of.

We were at this beautiful, cult themed eatery - illuminati. They’ve got fab, black and white interiors and seating complementing the whole aura of the place. They’ve got a whole ambiance that commands respect and denotes class through and through.
The food carries multiple cuisines - indian, Chinese, Thai and continental and they showcase some signature dishes with a twist. Plating is exceptionally beautiful with singular portion sizes meals. Here’s what we ate:
1. Fish and chips poppers - all fried elements with a mushy peas, potato cheese poppers and fried Rawas. Served with some spicy remoulade.
2. Pomegranate Molasses lamb chops - these were beautifully shaped lamb medallions that were soaked in a sweet sauce. The predominant flavours were sweet, tangy and creamy and was delicious.
3. Chicken and prawns suimai dimsums - these were cute little balls of flavour with a taut coating.
4. Jasmine steamed Rawas with lemongrass prawns broth - the Rawas was steamed to fall apart on touch perfection and had undertones of jasmine to it. The broth had a strong flavour of tomato. Served on a bed of noodles with prawn crackers it was quite an art in its presentation.
5. Chilli crusted prawns with tabbouleh - the crust was soft and the prawns were fresh. Loved the tabbouleh served along with it.
6. Confit duck leg with medjool date purée - the duck leg was tender, juicy and the added skin was just a brilliant addition to it. The date purée added a new dimension and lifted the dish. Enjoyed it.
8. Jasmine chicken fried rice - the chicken fried rice was really pearly and quite delicious. Loved it.
9. Decadent cake french Toast - The bade was a pound cake instead of bread which was fried with an egg dip. Was served with some vanilla ice cream and some dusting sugar and was simple, yet really heart warming and delicious.
For the drinks we tried some of their mocktails Which were just as good as the food. The Heaven on Earth is a favourite. It’s got the freshness of watermelon accentuated by the light hint of passion fruit and lemongrass. Bloody brilliant.
We were served by Maaz. Service was prompt and courteous. Had a great time and particularly enjoyed the beautiful plating, classy ambiance and their playlist.

Illuminati BKC is an amazing place to have a great experience! The design of the lights looks amazing at night. So many beautiful lights are present to make the ambience look so attractive. Totally impressive ambience man!
The staff gave us the best of their service, from our server to our Bartender all were really helpful. Mr. Dinesh served us good. Coming to the food and drinks both were good in their own ways:-

Blue Fairy, Mon Amie, Mr.Charming and Elixir. The presentation and taste both were really impressive. Mon Amie was quite a refreshing drink. Elixir had two lovely Lychees on top. The smokey cocktail Blue Fairy was amazing and smokey.
2) Food:-
In food we started with Cajun Fish & Chips along with Chicken and Prawns Shumai in Dimsums and Tempura Prawns in Sushi. Fresh Bay Paella and Honey Sesame Chicken & Egg Fried Rice were our mains.
3) Desserts:-
In Desserts we had Dark side of Hot Chocolate and Simply Chocolate. Dark side of Hot Chocolate is alcoholic dessert, which includes gin in it. Simply Chocolate was awesome, the warm brownie was really amazing
Overall I had wonderful experience here at Illuminati. This place is build very beautifully, especially if you visit on friday's and saturday's you will find this place more awesome. Coming here for dinner date is really very worthful.

This place makes you feel in a different zone altogether. The interiors are tastefully done. The design is both futuristic and rich. and the lighting is exquisite. Right from the crockery to the cutlery, everything sits in just right with the setting. The sound and lighting on the dance floor boast state of the art tech. The Chef was very welcoming and the staff was very courteous. The specialty food from China and Thailand was unparallel. This place is a must-go for anyone who wishes to spoil themselves over a weekend with the best food, superb collection of drinks, amazing crowd and fabulous DJ who makes you sway to the best mixes I have ever heard. Be sure to hang around until post 10 pm, when the place literally turns into a happening night club!
Exquisite interiors and lighting, you really get a sense of grandeur when you enter the place, two thumbs up for the interior design. The food is about alright, the edamame hummus starter was brilliant, the other starters were pretty average in my opinion.
The main course was decent and made up for any disappointment we had with the starters.
The place is pricey though, and rightly so, looks like they've invested a fortune in staff and decor expenses. For instance on the night I visited, I saw more bartenders than waiting staff in a bar area that was literally empty, and this was a Friday night.
Nonetheless this place is good for a drink and possibly clubbing too (I've been told that it turns into a nightclub post 10PM)

And with the Hip Hop and progressive music it adds to the feel of a different world altogether. Had been here on a Wednesday which turns out to be a ladies night with free drinks for the ladies. The place is lit for sure. Just lived the ambience and the vibe of this place. Coming to food our taste buds were surely happy but the tummy was lil upset as in 3 of us we had ordered so many dishes but still the portion the quantity of food is too less. Just a suggestion for the team everything is so perfect kindly increase the quantity of food served. Other than that it was an amazing and enchanting experience

Illuminati what a place. Wow and just amazing place. From interior, decor, polite and informed staff, very high hygiene levels to excellent music and above all great food. Very good option for Vegetarians and we started with Pizza inspired Arrancini, without pizza dough making it lighter, but perfect taste of pizza, can't have a better start to dinner. Charcol bread double cheese sandwich, the highlight was charcoal bread, very yummy. Veg crystal dumpling presentation was amazing and so is the tasty Spiced Edamame Hummus. This is my 200th review. Celebrated the occasion by taking advantage of the Zomato INFINITY DINING scheme which they have for their GOLD membership. I had to pay 1600 and could have anything from the entire menu at the Illuminati restaurant. I started of with the salmon and Philadelphia cream cheese roll. Super way too start the meal as it was extremely well made. This was followed by the Bacon wrapped prawn skewers. Once again very well cooked with good flavors. Next came the Pomegranate lamb chop which tasted good but was unfortunately quite chewy. They could have made it a bit more tender. This was followed by the Black and Sichuan pepper tenderloin which was without doubt the best dish. Cooked to perfection,the meat was very succulent. After going through the starters,for main course I had the Fresh Bay Paella. This had a spicy and tangy taste to it and was very enjoyable. Finally the dessert was Simply Chocolate which was chocolate fudge and ice cream. Unfortunately this was quite a let down and a sad way to finish a very good meal. This meal also included two mock tails which were super. The watermelon with basil and Orange with lime. Normally this meal would be 4000 per head but thanks to Zomato, it worked out to 1600 all inclusive. The restaurant was very generous in serving all the dishes without any hesitation. Service was extraordinary thanks to Vipul. Ambience was top class and music outstanding. This restaurant probably also has the cleanest and best toilet among all the other places. A very important criteria lots of restaurants don’t pay attention to.

Illuminati is a relatively new restaurant in the BKC biz district. Very well located at the end of a row of restaurants in the 'BKC Inspire' building. Full marks to whoever has designed the area as it gives a very nice and upmarket appeal when one drives into the building at night.
The restaurant is a trendy one with fusion cuisine. Food was very tasty and well presented. Service was good and attentive. Desserts left a lot to be desired so I subtracted one star. Can be noisy as there is a DJ who likes to play his music! There is one area near the bar which is slightly cordoned off and can seat a group of 8-10 people if you want the privacy and relative peace...We went on a weekday evening and the restaurant was running at 50% capacity. Valet parking is available.
Recently visited this place with my office mates for a farewell dinner. The moment you step in you will exclaim - Classy decor. This place serves some of the best lamb chops, sushi and prawns dishes! Go on a date with your bae or with your friends on a weekend - you will be in awe of this place! The portions are small but the taste makes up for that. Do remember to conclude with the Apple Pie Baklava!

Service: Excellent. Very obliging, attentive stewards. They have a good grasp over what the restaurant is offering on their menu with an excellent knowledge of what each dish is. Not just that, they also helped us with suggestions on what to order.
The chef in the kitchen seemed very accommodating and prepared Sushi for us as per our requirements. We requested for a mix of Salmon and Tuna Maki rolls in a portion and it was done.
Drinks: We had 2 cocktails;
1. The Eye- A refreshing concoction of lemon grass, cucumber, coconut and of course rum. Not too strong but just as I would have liked it to be.
2. French 75- An interesting sparkling wine based cocktail with gin and lemon added and so prettily presented.
Food:
1. Five Spice Pork Belly: This was the highlight of the Lunch, such tender melt in your mouth pieces of pork belly so perfectly spiced and served over a bed of onions, garlic and honey roast pumpkin sauce. All the ingredients fused so well to bring together a perfect taste to this dish.
2. Pizza inspired Arrancini: An interesting sounding dish that caught my fancy while glancing through the menu. This consisted of cheese rice balls deep fried to crispiness and served over a bed of pizza sauce and topped with pizza toppings of cheese and olives. Crisp on the outside soft and cheesy on the inside, this dish was a delight for my taste buds.
3. Spiced Edamame Hummus: I am not a big fan of ordering vegetarian dishes when I go out to eat, but I was intrigued by the sound of this particular dish. The hummus bore such a smooth consistency and was perfectly flavored and served with smoked aubergine and warm pita bread. I would highly recommend ordering this when here.
4. Sushi: I loved their Salmon and Tuna sushi, beautiful presentation with a burst of flavor in your mouth each time you took a bite.
We also tried their Crispy Veg Sushi ( not on the menu) and Asparagus Tempura Sushi which was excellent as well.
5. Chicken and Bokchoy Dimsum: This was the only dish I did not find appealing. The filling tasted very bland and standard, but was steamed and prepared well.
Since we ordered so much there was no space left for dessert, but they definitely had a wide variety to choose from.
Presentation: Every dish brought to your table looks like the Chef has really put in his best. Not just that, the steward who places it on your table gives you a detailed description of the dish and the ingredients in it. Me being an avid foodie really always looks for this in service at a restaurant.
Cost: Their rates are on the expensive side, but I would not complain as I got what I paid for, the experience of dining in luxury.
Would I recommend and return? Definitely a big Yes!!!!

For vegetarians - the menu is limited, with most appetisers being cheese based. In mains, the options drop down to a highly disappointing three.
So what’s with the four stars? Great service, and great taste.
Despite the limited menu, we liked everything we ordered - being so full by the time we were done with the appetisers, that we skipped the mains altogether.
TRY:
The falafel crisps (a little on the overly crunchy side, but the flavours are delightful)
Pizza inspired Arancini (disclaimer: I’m an arancini snob - so for these, not a fan of the mozzarella they put on top of the rice balls, because it diminished the taste of the frankly absolutely delicious arancini. But, perfectly cooked rice and great rice/sauce ratio)
Cola Potatoes (tangy, a little bit of spice, some lemon yoghurt to cut the taste of the sauce and a mango sauce dollop to add sourness and dimension)
Rajma and feta squares (surprisingly delightful. The rajma squares were definitely on the dryer side, making the feta dollop insufficient in ratio, but overall, a dish you wouldn’t regret trying)
Japanese noodle salad (a standout dish, with unexpected pomelo and ginger that made for a outstanding, light salad that’ll please most palates)
SKIP:
Veg California Maki (good thing: the rice wasn’t dry like at many sushi serving restaurants nowadays, and the vegetables tasted fresh. Bad thing: average taste, nothing original or outside of the box)
Instead: try the spicy avocado
Broccoli and waterchestnut dimsum (we ordered it on recommendation of the server, but sadly it was, like the sushi, uninspired and average at best)
Instead: try the spicy edamame and green peas
The ambiance is quite amazing with good food and good service. Couple of food and drinks orders were not available, ordered it through the server and the server came back to inform that it’s not available.
Impressed! Tired of being to same boring places, tried this one. Good food and oh yeah the sushi’s. There were brilliant. Visited on a jazz night. Was a good date night place.

Visited Illuminati today for lunch. We arrived at 12:30pm. And we are glad we did, the place soon got full as we continued to have lunch.
We started the luncheon with Mac and Cheese Poppers. Cheesy, creamy and full of flavour. Just what we needed as we had just stepped in from the rain. The added dusting of cheese powder was a highlight.
We had their recommended dish : Bacon wrapped prawn skewers. The bacon was a bit too salty but the prawn was beautifully cooked. Overall a nice balance of flavours. Could have done with some dipping sauce, which I guess we might have ignored.
We had two portions of Chilli Garlic Noodles, easily one of our favorites from the lunch. Noodles were wonderful, easy and light with a punch of garlic and chilli, not too oily and an excellent after taste that didn't want us to have either water or need washing down. Perfect dish.
We also had the Jazmine Rice. The flavours were very subtle and nicely balanced. It also had a load of veggies which made the rice very palpable.
We had their Crispy Lamb accompanying us with the rice. It took longer to arrive then all the dishes. Couldn't taste the tamarind sauce but the flavour overall was still worth the wait.
We also had the Grilled Asparagus and Mushroom dish which was brilliantly sauced with pesto and served with a lovely Pecorino sauce. My dish of the night!
We ended the meal by trying two of the signature desserts. One was a Chocolate Bourbon Shot with Peanut Butter and Jam sandwich. The size of the sandwich was really small, could have been a slightly bigger portion. The bourbon chocolate shot had a heavy flavour of cinnamon which completely masked the bourbon.
The other one we had was a treat to view and taste. The side of chocolate I believe it's called was heavenly! The chocolate ice cream had some herbs which accentuated the chocolate. The profiterole was probably made in advance and not made on order hence the chocolate on top was frozen to taste. The meringue was light and was topped with edible flower petals.
Overall, the ambience was great. But sometimes the music completely was off with Punjabi and Hindi songs thrown in the mix. Traditionally house music was perfect and on point to give the place and upscale vibe.
The servers were knowledgeable but service was a bit slow as the place kept filling up. Missed the opportunity to say hello to Chef Abhijeet Berde, but kudos to him and the team for a fabulous concept. We didn't have any drinks this time but surely love to come back and have a sampler.
Would recommend to visit for the sheer creative dishes, the wonderful combinations and completely fabulous decor!

Beautifully done up, The space also doubles up as a high energy lounge by the night.
The resto-lounge serves progressive European and Asian cuisine along with artisan cocktails.
It's food menu is a mix of salads, appetizers, sushi, dimsums, mains and desserts.
Illuminati also offers three course set menu lunch on weekdays.

Vodka based cocktail made with beetroot, vegetable stock and vanilla.
BELIEVER -
Vodka based cocktail made with chamomile tea, spiced green apple and thyme.
Both the cocktails were fantastic but I personally loved the chamomile tea infused cocktail more due to the fabulous mild smooth aftertaste.
SALADS :-
ROCKET AND ROASTED BEET -
Rocket leaves and salt roasted beetroot salad made with goat cheese, orange, pine nuts and pomegranate vanilla dressing.
Extremely refreshing, dressing was light, the crushed goat cheese balls added richness to the salad and bought everything together.
APPETIZERS :-
CAJUN FISH AND CHIPS POPPERS -
Beer batter fried fish served with potato cheese poppers, mush minty pea poppers and chipotle dip.
It was an innovative twist to a classic fish and chips. Fries and pea mash was replaced with poppers and tartar sauce was swapped with chipotle dip. A spray of malt vinegar added a lovely aroma ! Loved it !
DIMSUM :-
VEG CRYSTAL -
Potato flour dimsums stuffed with finely chopped vegetables served on a bed on soy broth. Comes along with coriander, chilli oil and chilli garlic dip.
The dimsums were absolutely delicious, the wrapper was extremely thin, filling was delectable.
SUSHI :-
PRAWNS TEMPURA -
Vinegared rice rolled with nori and prawns tempura. Garnished with tempura crumbs and spicy mayo. Served with wasabi and gari.
A well made sushi, had the right elements - crispy tempura filling and moist yet firm rice texture.
MAINS :-
JASMINE SMOKED RAWAS -
Rawas fish fillet served on a bed on stir fried wheat noodles.
Comes along with lemongrass prawn broth and prawn crackers.
The rawas was pan seared to perfection, the seafood broth had a dominant prawn flavour as it was cooked with a whole prawn, the broth made the noodles and fish taste delicious.
FRESH BAY PAELLA -
Fresh seafood, tomatoes, saffron and parsley cooked with short grained rice. Served with crusty prawn butter bread.
A seafood lovers favourite, the secret of a good paella depends upon on the freshness of the seafood, the one at illuminati excelled in this department !
DESSERTS :-
SIMPLY CHOCOLATE -
Hazelnut mousse layered brownie served with chocolate cream puff, chocolate ice cream and white chocolate.

Talking about food and drinks we had mocktails Queen and Heaven on the earth both are great in taste.
The starter and appetizers have a huge menu. We had Tokyo Chicken karrage topped with coriander. Next we had cranberry & Mint Lamb Shikhampurs on of drooling dishdish and presented nicely. Along with starters we had main course. They have very good and courteous staff. All the dishes were worthy.
For dessert we had pineapple upside down and simply chocolate always been the most interesting part of my meal. Both are lovely and attractive desserts with different presentation.

Chicken dim sum - 4/5; Fish with raw mango - 1/5; tenderloin - 2.5/5; chicken tempura - 4/5; veg dim sum - 4/5. Overall food was 3/5. Since place was packed, service was little slow / waiters were confused at times. The price is relatively high but worth the ambience. But The place overall was not bad for a Saturday night!

This place illuminates with it's beauty and enigma. This place is a perfect concoction of nightclub, fine dine and a lounge with an amazing bar. Black and White interiors with triangular logo and flooring gives a certain intensity to the theme.

To beging with, we ordered a Pizza Inspired Arrancini. This fusion styled dish comes with crisp arrancini balls laid on a base of pizza sauce, topped with vegetables & oddles cheese. A unique & winning combination of arrancini and pizza, which you may not experience anywhere else.
Veg california maki:
This inside out vegetable California maki is an intricate looking but a dish with simplest but richest of flavours. The soya sauce perfectly adds to the flavours and blends with the crunchiness available in the ingredients of this sushi .
Veg crystal dumplings :
If we have to arrange the dishes as per their taste, this one would land at the end. We wish the Crystal dumplings had more flavours to it. It looked appealing to our eyes but did no wonders to our taste buds. This one can be improved.
Braised broccoli & tofu with red chillies :
Not a fan of jasmine rice but such a well balanced combination of jasmine fried rice paired with a gravy of braised broccoli, tofu with red chillies surprised us & how. It is packed with flavours and quite filing.
To avoid over eating, thereafter we jumped on to the dessert & concluded our meal with 'Simply Chocolate'. This one is a decadent combination of hazelnut mousse, delicious warm brownie paired with chocolate profiteroles & tempered chocolate. Serves sufficiently for two!
All in all we had a great time... certainly a place we would like to visit more than once. Dining beneath a 'sky full of stars' kind of an ambience is an experience in its own.

Bkc has always been my favorite when it comes to fine dining. The region has picked up well thanks to the corporate crowd that they have. Recently we decided to try out Illuminati, after hearing a lot about their black and white theme. The food here is simply amazing, service is perfect.
Let's get to what we had and what you should probably order too -
Lamb Chops : Perfectly marinated, melt in the mouth meat. The plating of this one is done so well. Loved the cranberry yogurt on the side.
Five Spice pork belly : The best way you could have a pork belly. With all 5 spices, pork belly never tasted better.
Tuna Sashimi : Love fresh catch? This one is a must have!
Deconstructed Coq Au vin : Wine braised chicken. I still have the taste of this in my tastebuds.
In cocktails, do try out their signature ones. They're mind blowing! Out of all we tried the Evil Queen and blue ferry were our favorites.
Pineapple upside down : The best end to such a heavenly meal. Amazing way of serving a pineapple, never imagined so much could be done just by a pineapple. Definitely try it out!

From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. Starting from the valet, to the hostess, to every single staff member, we were received with the warmest of smiles and the most courteous manners.
Every dish could boast of flavours with such remarkable depth, and the dishes were so well balanced. Some of my favourites are Spiced Edamame Hummus, Malay Chicken, Salmon Sashimi, and the Balinese Tofu Curry.

Illuminati - The mysterious name we all grew up to thinking about the conspiracies & theories they have known and hidden from the world over a period of time.
Then I visited the recently opened Illuminati in BKC Inspire and found myself a bit more enlightened with their surreal balance of Ambiance, Attentiveness, In-House Cocktails and Signature dishes.
Aesthetically placed mystique triangles in a shape of domes at all 4 corners which houses plush round sofas to dive in and settle for a gourmet meal; the décor is achromatic yet you see a play of colors if you look long enough.
We were here for lunch but the place will easily pass off for a fine dine restaurant which can be doubled up as a cocktail bar or a night club without even having the need to move any tables.
A Bar counter truly big & and equally unparalleled with their intoxicant offerings; choose your pick from In-house Cocktails to Single Malts or if you fancy some imported beers.
Humble list of drinks ordered : Each of these drinks were made to perfection and it’s almost impossible to pick a favorite. Jim Bean & Kettle One is what they use as a standard pour – Just FYI!
- Heaven on Earth : A good looking Mocktail to start off, this one was served in a tall martini glass. A subtle blend of Passion fruit, Watermelon & Basil which managed to hit all the right notes.
- Lost Boy : Jim Bean being the base here topped with beetroot juice & egg white for the frothy touch. Topped with Rosemary this cocktail gave us a gist of superior taste.
- Blue Fairy : Definitely not blue in shade but will take your blues away for sure. Concoction of Jim Bean mixed with Orange & bitters; the touch was completed with a large cinnamon stick inserted into the drink for the aromatic taste.
- Secret Society : An angelic white drink with a flawless look, this one was a frothy blend (Egg White) of Jim Bean and Pineapple with a hint of Blue Pea tea.

To Begin With : Appetizers Ordered
- Salmon and Philadelphia Cream Cheese : The rich creaminess of Phily Cheese spread mixed with Salmon and wrapped in a sticky Rice layer served along with soy sauce, this is a heaven for Sushi lovers.
- Pomegranate Molasses Lamb Chops : 2 huge portions of Lamp chops glazed with Molasses (Brown syrup extracted from sugar refining) served along with salad and fried pita with a touch of mint yoghurt. The Lamb chops were cooked to perfection and juicy in each bite and the touch of Molasses gave this a dash of sweeter taste.
- Cajun Fish & Chips Poppers : Not a standard version of your fish N chips; this one had fried potato poppers instead of Chips and fish fillets & balls to accompany with chipotle sauce as a dip. Been a fan of regular Fish N Chips all my life so this version didn’t impress me to be honest.
Thereafter : Main Ordered
- Confit Duck Leg with Majool Date Puree : A signature dish from the kitchen of Illuminati, 2 wholesome grilled duck legs topped with anise glaze with a side of baby carrot and greens. The duck legs were tender and came off the bones with ease and the taste was an absolute delight. The serving is just right for 1 person considering you have had appetizers before ordering the mains. But do keep in mind this is a dish that speaks taste & quality not quantity.
- Steak with Rouge Butter : Been a while I had a decent steak and the Illuminati version was a real splendid one. Medium rare cooked just to my liking and as asked, paired with potatoes & vegetables glazed in Horseradish sauce gave it a tangy taste. 2 generous chunks of Steak along with veggies makes this one a perfect meal to be had.
Conclusions : Dessert Ordered
- Simply Chocolate : Simplicity at its best! Best of the sweets pieced together to create this sinful delight. 2 Warm Brownies accompanied with 2 Chocolate Profiteroles and a scoop of chocolate hazelnut topped with a slice of white tempered chocolate. Fun part if figuring out which combination you like the most but nevertheless each bite was truly delectable.
Yes; the prices are a bit on the higher side but it’s an experience you pay for and it worth every single penny spend.
We concluded our dining and were left with a bit of awwness on our taste buds and senses, definitely one of the best fine dining places I have visited in my lifetime.

Elegance and class is the other name of this place. The decor and interiors are designed so well that it gives you a feeling of having entered galaxy. Star like structure and a massive counter at an elevated platform.

1) DOUBLE CHEESE CHARCOAL BREAD SANDWICH 👍
After I read a lot of reviews going bonkers over this dish, I too went with the flow and it was just wow! This is charcoal bread stuffed with 2 types of cheese : white cheddar and yellow cheddar.
The only downside, a bit too salty for my liking. However, it tasted yum with the tomato aioli sauce served with it!

2) FALAFEL SQUARES
This is a middle Eastern dish which is a our traditional Dal Vada but this one is the thin and crispy version of it. Crispy and delicious, served with creamy yoghurt and tasteful harissa sauce. Simply loved the dips, however, skip ordering this one and ask for something more innovative over this regular dish.
3) SPICY AVOCADO & ASPARAGUS TEMPURA SUSHI (They serve half and half portion) 👍
I have recently started liking sushi and this one was a stealer as well. The soya garlic oil served alongside makes for a perfect accompaniment to the sushis. Biteable size and well presented.

4) BROCCOLI & WATERCHESTNUT DIMSUM 👍
Wanted to order Dimsums but this time a unique flavour rather than the typical veg crystal and edamame ones, and this was just superb! Served along with spring onion sauce, chilli oil and chilli garlic oil.

These are like wraps with Italian touch. Stuffed with finely chopped exotic veggies served on a bed of cheese sauce along with tomato based salsa style sauce and lots of green peas.

To begin with, the jasmine rice was super fragrant and tasted awesome. The tofu was super duper soft and just melted in the mouth. However, I did not like the dish on the whole, being Korean style cuisine, it lacked a lacked the Indian spicy flavours which I like.

1) SIMPLY CHOCOLATE
This is a hotchpotch of everything chocolate. Soft brownies stuffed with hazelnut mousse and served along with rich and creamy chocolate ice cream and chocolate profiteroles (they were dry though) and edible flowers. The dish is presented well and tastes good.
On the whole, a very nice experience and would love to visit again! 😊

Great food, horrible seating
We were 5 girls and literally had to sit very close to each other, wasn't comfortable at all, plus if you get a seat under the canopy false celling- its claustrophobic.
The food however is excellent and so is the service- they made sure we were well served and were very courteous.
The drinking options are great too.. we had a fun evening as we requested seating on one of the side tables that didn't have the canopy setting ceiling.
Also, if you are there for a catch up- you might want to know the music after 10 pm gets very loud.
Overall I think its a fun place and yum food :)

“Beautiful things and Delicious food is priceless.” It’s a thought come to my mind when I’ve visited newly opened place in BKC named Illuminati. This place surprises me in my first visit. As you entered the place, it’s a different world altogether.
This place certainly raises the bar chicness and opulence. With all positive vibes and great hospitality Illuminati won accolades.
The place lit with beautiful white lights, classy décor and huge bar. They have a wide collection of Alcohol and wines.
The amazing indulgence of spices and the flavors has made me their fan. The varied menu has really tempted my taste buds and taken it to a niche.
So, first let’s start with cocktails and then food.
Prisoner: Vodka based (kettle one) with Galangal and Lemongrass. Loved the freshness and sweet taste because of lemongrass.
Blue Fairy: Jim Beam + Blueberry + Blue Pea Bitters + Orange slice. Looks amazing but tasted less of alcohol. Maybe not stirred well, still can give a try.
Believer: Believe me, it’s the best one among all three. Kettle One Vodka+ Chamomile spiced Apple + Thyme. Really amazing. This was smooth, fresh and bit different.
Quick Steamed Rawas Xiao Xing: Loved the balance. Bold flavors. Very smooth texture. Presentation is beautiful. Rawas fish is served with Xiao Xing wine. Overall colourful and made well. Do try.
Tokyo Chicken Karrage: This looks amazing and tasted so good, crunchy. You can taste both sweet and spicy at the same time. I could actually feel the distinct flavors yet intact.
Tempura Prawn: It delectably delights you. One of the best tempura prawn sushi I had in recent time. Tasted lovely.
Chicken and Bok Choy: It was simply great. Bok Choi is a type of Chinse Cabbage. Minced Chicken and Bok Choy has a generous stuffing. Served hot. Do try.
Honey Sesame Chicken Bowl: I still cannot get over this. The star dish of the day. Diced chicken tossed in sticky sesame soy with a bit of 5 pickled chillies. All the herbs intact and served with Jasmine rice was a delicious treat to my gluttony.
The Decadent Cake French Toast: Not too sweet. But not to be miss for sure.
Time and again I would just sing praises for this absolutely amazing place which makes sure to lure its patron and woo them with delicious offerings.

We were at this beautiful, cult themed eatery - illuminati. They’ve got fab, black and white interiors and seating complementing the whole aura of the place. They’ve got a whole ambiance that commands respect and denotes class through and through.
The food carries multiple cuisines - indian, Chinese, Thai and continental and they showcase some signature dishes with a twist. Plating is exceptionally beautiful with singular portion sizes meals. Here’s what we ate:
1. Fish and chips poppers - all fried elements with a mushy peas, potato cheese poppers and fried Rawas. Served with some spicy remoulade.
2. Pomegranate Molasses lamb chops - these were beautifully shaped lamb medallions that were soaked in a sweet sauce. The predominant flavours were sweet, tangy and creamy and was delicious.
3. Chicken and prawns suimai dimsums - these were cute little balls of flavour with a taut coating.
4. Jasmine steamed Rawas with lemongrass prawns broth - the Rawas was steamed to fall apart on touch perfection and had undertones of jasmine to it. The broth had a strong flavour of tomato. Served on a bed of noodles with prawn crackers it was quite an art in its presentation.
5. Chilli crusted prawns with tabbouleh - the crust was soft and the prawns were fresh. Loved the tabbouleh served along with it.
6. Confit duck leg with medjool date purée - the duck leg was tender, juicy and the added skin was just a brilliant addition to it. The date purée added a new dimension and lifted the dish. Enjoyed it.
8. Jasmine chicken fried rice - the chicken fried rice was really pearly and quite delicious. Loved it.
9. Decadent cake french Toast - The bade was a pound cake instead of bread which was fried with an egg dip. Was served with some vanilla ice cream and some dusting sugar and was simple, yet really heart warming and delicious.
For the drinks we tried some of their mocktails Which were just as good as the food. The Heaven on Earth is a favourite. It’s got the freshness of watermelon accentuated by the light hint of passion fruit and lemongrass. Bloody brilliant.
We were served by Maaz. Service was prompt and courteous. Had a great time and particularly enjoyed the beautiful plating, classy ambiance and their playlist.

Illuminati is a newly opened casual dining bar winch serves Asian, Japanese, American and European cuisines with some explicit cocktails and mocktails.
They have really done splendid work with the interiors, as there is major use of glass and elaborate glass work adorning the ceilings and walls.
The bar also looks quite good and definitely serves you some nice cocktails.

This drink was a concoction of litchi along with some hibiscus tea and vodka (Ketel One).
This was one of the best cocktails I have had. The drink was just perfect. I even loved the way it was presented, with 2 litchies on a stick on the cusp of the glass.
Highly recommended!

As soon as you bring this drink near your lips to drink it, you are welcomed by the strong smell of vanilla. The flavor isn't much recognizable as it also has chamomile. But worth a try
📍Mon Amie
This was a watermelon based drink, if you aren't one to experiment, then this is the drink for you.
📍 Blue fairy
I have never been the one to try bourbon based cocktails, but I am lucky I tried this one out.
Another highly recommended one!
Coming to the appetizers we had
Pizza inspired aranchini
This is the dream come true for all cheese lovers. The fusion of arancini and pizza, an absolute delight!
And the sweet and sour marinara to complete it, top notch!
Charcoal bread double cheese sandwich
This is basically grilled cheese, but with a twist. The bread here is made with activated charcoal and the sandwich is served with tomato olive sauce. Another dish worth trying
In mains we had
Grilled polenta with mushrooms and pecorine
It's a vegetarian dish with the grilled polenta topped with with a cheesy, creamy sauce with mushrooms and grilled aspharagus and some tomato sauce.
Deconstructed Coq Au Vin
This wine braised chicken dish is enough for a single person to finish it off, it is served with some mashed potatoes and roast garlic thyme puree.
The chicken is perfectly cooked and tastes delicious with all the other small items on the plate.
Worth a try!
And now finally to the desserts
Simply chocolate
This was a delight to see and eat, so many different things on a single plate, even though they have their individual personalities but together they made the dish 10 times more delicious.
A must try!!!

Ambience:
This place is just like dining under the stars the way interior is done outstanding blue and white lights ,basically a resto lounge which is fine dine that transforms into lounge by night with great music.
Staff is quite polite and helpful in recommending and helping out with dishes.Special thanks to Mr.Mayur who suggested some good appetizers which we tried.
So Menu comprises of European and Asian cuisines with curated cocktails and sooo good desserts.
Food we tried ,
1) Pizza Inspired Arancini:
Small arancini balls placed on pizza sauce with gratinated chesse and some parsley leaves,
it was soft and had that crisp with that perfect taste of pizza really a great appetizer.
2)Veg crystal dimsums:
Small mini dimsums stuffed with veggies topped with cherry tomatoes slices with sauce it was a delight for dimsum lovers truly blast of flavours.
3)Veg Exotic Sushi:
Sushi are always loved Illuminati has best sushi ever tried it was stuffed with all those exotic veggies with wasabi sauce served on side and some dip delicious and definitely must try.
4)Warm Capresse bruscheta:
Pretty good in presentation crispy bruscheta layered with roasted cherry tomatoes with chesse it was mild in flavours like for those who eat less spicy it had that tanginess balanced with chesse.
For Mains,
1) Veg Fried Rice with Braised broccoli and tofu gravy:
Blissful and good one, veg fried rice served with broccoli and tofu curry which very well matched with our rice as suggested by them it was light and good option to go for.
2) Three chesse baked gnocchi:
Chesse lovers this is for you.Loaded with chesse and chesse its basically gnocchi dipped in three chesse layered with spices and crispy bread stick.
Ended our meal with Apple baklava,
Served fresh pastry was hot stuffed with crushed apple and sweetner topped with rose petals and served with vanilla icecream one of the best baklava simple yet delicious.
Fabulous decor theme with a very lively ambiance. The menu hosts the most palatable and exquisite dishes . If one wants to went out the week's tension and stress and loosen up, then this is the best place as there a live DJ too!

But for quite a few years now, BKC has also been one of the go-to food destinations of the city. Inspire BKC is one such hotspot which is a commercial hub filled with offices and restaurants. Despite being surrounded by places like Trèsind, Uno Más, Cardboard, Drifters etc., Illuminati manages to stand out and offer something unique of its own.
Illuminati is a unique mix between a lounge, a fine-dine experience and a soon-to-be nightclub. If you have heard about this place or have come across any photos of the place, you have most probably seen how beautiful this place looks. The ambience of this place is phenomenal and the 'starry-night-like' lights make this place seem 'out of this world', quite literally. The combination of unique lighting, the black and white decor and the extensive use of glass make this place feel aesthetically grand. But the premiumness of this place doesn't end here, it also spills down to the culinary options that this place has to offer.
The menu has been curated to cover a variety of cuisines, which include European, Japanese, Italian and American. The food here looked as gorgeous as the place itself, and the taste was amazing too. It is really difficult to take a bad photo in this place, be it the food or the ambience.
Our recommendation would be to start off with an appetizer, and also a drink to go along with it. Our favourites were Charcoal bread sandwiches and Rajma feta squares, but you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu. We also quite liked the Pizza inspired arancini and the Spiced edamame hummus. For the mains, we would definitely recommend Baked gnocchi fontina and Braised broccoli & Tofu curry with rice, as some solid vegetarian options. The chef also recommends the pineapple-upside/down and apple pie baklava for desserts, and the mixologist's favourites include The eye, Blue fairy, and the Evil queen. Illuminati is a new place and yet it has a lot to offer. We are excited to visit this place again very soon, as the management has a lot of plans for this place in the near future!

I must admit, the lights impressed me. 'Illuminati' - a perfect name with a unique concept.
Location (5/5): The location itself is a landmark in Bkc region. Inspired building in BKC is home to some amazing and unique restaurants like Uno Mas and Trisend. So the competition is tough still you would find it difficult to get a reservation on weekends.
Ambience (5/5): The glimmering lights cover most part of the restro & hence the name -Illuminati. There are huge lights which cover the centre of the restro (turned on during weekends). Also, make sure you don't get fooled by the super clean mirrors due to which they have directions on the floor.
Service (5/5): The chef was very considerate of our requests (spice level). Our server suggested us what we should go for, based on our likes & dislikes. I really liked the effort they put in to satisfy all the diners. Maaz left no stones unturned to provide best possible service.
Food(5/5): The chef served us some drooling dishes. They kept the authenticity of Asian Cuisine. The desserts were really unique & delightfully rich.

Queen(Mocktail): I really liked the tangy flavors from the orange & Kaffir lime. The vanilla helped balance the flavors.
Prisnor(Cocktail): It's a vodka based cocktail with beautiful cherries on top.
▪️ Appetizers
Tokyo Chicken(Recommended): In love with Tokyo Chicken. Perfect size, similar to popcorns, but different flavor. They were tossed in spices & a sweet sauce, & garnished beautifully.
Steamed rawas xiao xing: The fish was steamed to perfection & served with vegetable spaghetti on top & a sauce made of wine at the bottom. It was completely boneless, which was a plus.
Chicken and prawns shumai dimsum: Beautiful & fresh yellow Dimsums topped with caviar is what you get in this dish. The prawns & chicken filling was delicious. If you love authentic Asian food, definitely try this.
Pizza inspired arancinni: It's interesting. Arancinni as a base for pizza?! Hell yes! It's topped with cheese & veggies, similar to a pizza. Thumbs up for the creativity.
▪️Main Course
Honey sesame chicken bowl (Recommended): As the dish arrived, the aroma of the jasmine rice took over the place. Chicken, tossed in honey & soy sauce, was placed on the rice. I loved the taste & aroma of the dish. Go for it.
▪️Desserts
Deconstructed pineapply upside down: A dessert served in a wine glass, & the chocolate biscuit was kept over to cover it. Whipped cream was held upside down and the base had deconstructed pineapple. How cool! Tastewise, it was okay. Bonus points for it's uniqueness.
The Decadent cake french toast (Recommended): French toast, replaced by soft & delicious cake, served with ice cream, hazelnut & banana on the side. The cake was soft & it paired well with ice cream. It's different & fulfilling.
Overall (5/5): Green light from my side, if that's what you are looking for. 🙈 The lights are a definite hit. And so is the food. Unique & Tasty food is all we need!

This place illuminates with it's beauty and enigma. This place is a perfect concoction of nightclub, fine dine and a lounge with an amazing bar. Black and White interiors with triangular logo and flooring gives a certain intensity to the theme.
We just loved the elegance with which the food was displayed and presented.
To BEGIN WITH
- We tried their pomogranate molasses Lamb chops which were cooked nicely but could have been paid for attention to detail.
-We just loved their Tokyo Chicken Karrage which was crispy and tasty with sweet chilli sauce
-We loved their tempura prawns and chicken and prawn shumai too.
-Their baked gnocchi fonduta was foodporn with 4 different cheese sauces
-For cocktails we tried their Secret Society which is a classic of Jim Beam with Blue Pea Tea and egg whites. Their blue fairy and forbidden fruit were also refreshing

Wok tossed vegetables,tofu with dry red chilli:The flavours of hunan chilli come from province hunan central china.Known for their spicy cooking,hence the primary sauce is hunan & chilli a little sauce mixed with ur rice goes a long way.Get ur tongue sizzled.The medley of seasonal vegetables have a bite.
Deconstructed Pineapple upside down:Sous vide pineapple,bottom with caramalized sugar,whipped cream & chocolate ring.rich dolche le leche(which we werent given as we mentioned we eat eggless dessert)served in a glass.This when mixed all together after breaking the chocolate ring into bite size pieces,when mixed fresh cream,u go back to school-days,where u have told urself,tht the first eggless cake u will learn to bake is an pineapple upside down.
Apple pie baklava:Granny smith(greenapple)marinate,mixed with sugar and cinnamon tone.Rolled & baked.This is sweet & tart at the same time.The baklawa sheet breaks with ease.Walnut toffee-dressing is ur chikki which i love and with strawberry jam,how did they manage fresh strawberries in this summer heat?I am more than happy🙂 & served with amul vanilla icecream.

Firstly we started with drinks! Trust me the drinks served here are totally lit!
We ordered:
1. Heaven on Earth: This was by far one of the best watermelon mocktails I've ever had! It had a prominent taste of watermelon, passion fruit and basil. Presentation and taste 😻
2. Blue Fairy: This was basically a cocktail made up of orange, blue berry, blue pea fritters and jin. Aaah Bliss! 🤩
3. Believer: This one's not a miss! 😻 Made up of chamomile, ketel one, spiced apple and thyme. Don't forget to order this drink in case you're visiting Illuminati!
4. Secret Society: This cocktail had jim bean, pineapple, blue pea tea and egg white! This was kind average. You can miss out on this drink!
5. Pizza Inspired Arrancini: Crisp Arrancini with a base of pizza sauce and topped with veggies and grated cheese! Pizza lovers don't miss out on this! Altogether a different experience 😻
6. Spiced Edamame Hummus: Hummus made up of smoked aubergine and roasted bell peppers and served with crisp pita bread. This hummus was so so delicious 😻 it didnt taste bland at all! A must try here!
7. Braised broccoli and tofu: This was kinda soup with pieces of broccoli and tofu. A little on the milder side but yummm!
8. Exotic Veg Fried Rice: This was like normal fried rice but delicious! Rice were properly cooked and were added with so many exotic veggies! 😻
9. Roastes Vegetables & Mascarpone Crepinette: This was basically stir fried veggies in pesto sauce. Cherry tomatoes were the star in this dish 😻
10. Apple Pie Baklava: Baklava made up of Apple served with cinnamon and candy walnuts, golden raisins and vanilla icecream. The dessert was way too disappointing!

Visited Illuminati this past week.
Here is a low down of everything we had and liked:
To begin with, the Ambiance is pretty good; the white, black and gold interiors illuminated throughout and made for a good fine dine place.
We tried Chicken & bak choy
And Prawns hargao Dimsums.
Both had incredibly delicate flavors and were paired perfectly with refreshing Moctails, Berry special and Savior.
The Sushi here is absolutely stellar; the textures and flavours were to the point .
Loved the Salmon and Philadelphia Cream cheese rolls, Tempura Prawns and Veg California roll.
Tokyo Chicken was recommended by our server as a popular dish. It was flavorful but lacked a bit of sauce and felt a tad too dry.
Lamb chops were delicious but the presentation could be better.
For Mains our preferred choice was Jasmine Smoked Rawas served on a bed of wheat noodles doused in lemongrass prawn broth topped with Prawn crackers.
Flavorsome! Couldn't recommend this more . A must try.
A sweet closure to our meal was Simply Chocolate: brownie with a middle layer of chocolate hazelnut mousse served with a side of profiteroles and tempered chocolate.
The Brownie was decadent and had yummmness written all over it.
Overall Illuminati was a wonderful experience.
