I have been having Sancha Ice Creams for years, and it had been a while since I had something from them. Got two Family packs: mango and chocochips. They are a bit more expensive than Naturals but I found the flavour a lot better, it was more creamy, it even had more chocolate chips and mango pieces compared to Naturals. The taste has not changed, it has been the same ever since my childhood. The place is not fancy it is simple and their ice cream surely makes up for whatever they are missing. Also, their delivery was on time despite the rain!
Homemade handmade ice cream. Probably the best ice cream I have had in terms of taste and texture. It is not a fancy place . Good old fashioned ice cream at it's best.
The plain vanilla ice cream here is out of this world. It's happiness times infinity. Take a tub home. Your loved ones will thank you. Mango is good too

This place is not like any other ice cream parlor. It gives you ice cream made from frozen fresh pulp and not the concentrated added flavours one. I had the watermelon flavour and it felt I was eating an actual watermelon out from the freezer. No calories, only real fruit to satisfy your sugar craving.

Since the day I have eaten ice creams at Sancha I must confess that I have became a convert, it has become my go-to place to satisfy my cravings for ice cream.
Once you go Sancha you can't go back and who could believe that this place would actually be better than the titan of fresh fruit (natural) ice-cream.
I think this is the only branch of Sancha so I have to travel all the way to this place to devavour on their simple yet delicious ice cream (note that parking is an issue here).

This has to be my favourite flavour and is absolutely to die for.The amount of Kaju(cashew nuts) is just insane.

I have been there. This place is very quite and the flavours of the ice creams are very natural. The moment you eat it you can feel the flavours in your mouth. Their Kesar Pista, Tender Coconut, Sitaphal, Chocolate Chips, are few of the favourite running items. They have seasonal flavours which are also the mark and the customers keep demanding it

Sancha Ice Creams-
I have been going to Sancha and having different flavours of icecreams from the time I was a kid. It has been in this vicinity from a long time now and even after being in direct competition with the apsaras and naturals, it has still managed to hold onto its own. I have not visited the outlet quite a few times in the past, what with many different icecream outlets opening up, but seeing the way it is still crowded surely makes me very nostalgic! π They have an AC seating space inside which can surely fit in around 20 to 30 people at a time and decent sitting space outside also! At any point of time, it can accomodate approx 30 to 40 people.
I still remember how during ganpati visarjan, we used to sit outside the outlet and gulp down icecream after icecream! π The service is decent and even after all these years the outlet is still the same! They even allow you to sit outside the outlet for quite a period of time. They also provide home delivery and takeaway of icecreams and even take orders and provide them in your vehicle at your own convenience.
From the last 19 years almost, I have been visting this outlet and even after not having visited for atleast 2 to 3 years in the past, I have still seen the outlet serving many families and the young crowd without any hassles. They churn out fresh creamy hand made icecreams through sanchas and even after all these years they have maintained a good level of consistency, quality and quantity in their icecreams.
Unlike other icecream outlets which serve their icecreams in a plastic cup, I have seen Sancha serving their icecreams in a glass bowl, but that is only if you have it over there in their outlet (Although, I dont know if this has been the case over the last 2 to 3 years or not, but till the time I visited I remember that I was always served in glass bowls) They also serve icecream shakes and even after all these years, the outlet has maintained its simplistic and elegant ambience.
Now to the icecreams which I have tried, I have had some personal favourites in the past but I always stick to those flavours itself, though there are some flavours which Sancha does the best! π
1) Kaju Draksh (Highly Recommended! π) 5/5.
This is undoubtedly the best icecream and my favourite icecream from here! π The way they make this icecream is just completely different from what other outlets serve! Fresh creamy milky icecream with almonds, pistas and lots of raisins churned together in a deliciously amazing manner! I have tasted this same flavour from naturals also in the past but it was nowhere near to the taste of Sancha! π (Even while writing, I am reminiscing about the taste! π) I have had this numerous times in the past with numerous combinations and even now, given a chance I can have as many scoops as possible! π
2) Sitaphal. 5/5
My second most favourite icecream! π I remember when we used to sit over here during ganpati visarjan, this was a personal favourite of my daddu and dadi and then by tasting a spoon by spoon from their icecreams even I got hooked to the delicious flavour, so much so that I love sitaphal desserts in any form now! The way they churn out this freshly delicious icecream with small small bite sized sitaphal pieces in it makes the taste quite close to the sitaphal cream which we get at the haji ali juice centre!
3) Mango. 5/5
I always miss the mango icecream from Sanchas during every summer season! The way they used to churn out their freshly delicious mango icecreams with small mango pieces in it was and will always be the bestest! π I have been having it since I was a kid and I just love the taste of Mango icecream from here! β€ Also, the taste is surely better than that of the taste served by the other outlets.
4) Chocolate. 4/5
This is the only flavour which they need to work on, as both the creamy chocolate flavour icecream and the chocolate chip icecream have always had a bittersweet taste. Though it tastes reasonably good, the taste has not always been upto the mark. Though, I have an inkling that they would have improved the taste in the last 2 to 3 years. Half a point less just for this and I hope that the taste would have improved!
Apart from this, they also serve many other delicious icecreams like Jackfruit, Roasted Almond and many others! I have not yet tried the Icecream Shakes though but will try one in the future hopefully!
Overall Verdict!
A good old outlet churning out deliciously amazing icecreams with customer satisfication at its core. I have also witnessed the owner himself serving icecreams and also taking care of the service provided to his patrons. The pricing is also decent and is completely value for money. This is the reason why I feel it is still standing tall along side some outlets which have innovated and is going strong day by day! But please look into the taste of some of the icecream flavours and keep serving all your patrons in this simplistic and beautiful way for many years to come, hopefully!

Since the day I have eaten ice creams at Sancha, I have not found any other ice cream as good as these ones. Trust me, they have the most natural and most delicious ice creams ever.
The owner is very sweet and only sell the seasonal fruit ice creamed per the seasons only.

It deserve the ***** rating just not for the Ice Cream buy also for the warm hospitality of the owners and the serving staff. I have been having Sancha Ice Creams from the age of 7 year and it has never disappointed me on its taste and service. My fav has been the Choco-Chips and Strawberry. Unfortunately there are so many new Ice Cream parlours that have mushroomed in their vicinity but fortunately none of them come close to the taste of Sancha Ice Creams.

I had been to naturals many a times or say that I always went to Naturals' for icecream but this time I thought of trying smthng else and found this while returning back from Rock beach.
I ordered a fresh sitafal with waffle cone and my friend had dry fruits with waffle cone.
I was surprised to find the sitafal is actually better den the natural's. The icecream had real pulp with d icecream wich tasted awsum and the dry fruits was also good.
I am reviewing this only after trying 2 of the flavours.
I am definitely going to try the other flavours soon.
But sitafal is definitely better.

The place you've grown up with. You may change with time, but the taste of this place hasn't changed a wee bit. It is simply amazing! The icecreams here aren't your fancy sundaes, but a lot more. They are handmade and that is exactly what makes them brilliant. Sancha has been here much before the new icecream parlours popped in and can easily give them a run for their money. The best flavours here are Sitaphal (seasonal), Anjeer, Kajudraksh, and Chocochips. In fact, I've had their shakes too and absolutely loved their Sitaphal and Mango shakes. You definitely ought to give them a try and you're sure to come back for some more whether you're from Yari Road or Mira Road.

Tried the choco chip icecream. Hits the sweet spot when it comes to sweetness. Didnt melt as quickly as a natural's icecream and had a nice creamy texture. Simple presentation and quick service.

Tender coconut has a sweet coconutty taste, Kaju Draksh was marvellous , Thandai was really yummy, Mango had small tiny bits of mango pieces which again tasty awesome and Kesar Pista too was loaded with Pista and Kesar flavour.
Overall a great experience. Will definitely be visiting soon.

My favourite is their Anjeer Ice cream. One of the few places that make sure the kesar pista ice cream has Pista in it. Strawberry icecream is worth a try but I'm kinna figged ;)

Best freakin ice cream ever !!! Ordered it for the first time. My entire family loved it. I ordered choco-chip and roasted almonds after reading a couple of reviews from zomato. Loved both the flavours but my favourite is definitely roasted almonds. Their ice creams are very creamy and good quality. I've heard they serve some amazing milkshakes as well. So would definitely be trying that the next time i order or visit the outlet personally.

Iv been visiting Sancha even since I was a little kid, when mom used to say lets go for Ice cream I would cry for Sancha, Its a place I used to go with college friends, A place to go while on dates, and now sometimes a place to just have a nice scoop on a cone while walking home to counter the calories gained.
Sancha does have a limited range of flavors but has never lost on the quality. it has the same taste and essence it had 20 years ago.Β if you want to have an Ice-cream which can actually be categorized into the Vintage category then sancha has it for you.

With a rating it has, I was bound to try this place out. And so there I was with a friend. Located in an area where there r lots of options for ice cream like naturals, havmore etc this place does not stand out. I did a mistake of comparing it to Taj ice creams owing to the same method of preparation and was thoroughly disappointed. It's ice creams are no doubt good, but does not have the wow factor. Tried 4 flavours litchi, roasted almond, kaju draksh and anjeer. Kaju draksh and anjeer are really good. In every bite, the dry fruits are overloaded and that's a big plus. I can't take away the points from them because I compare it to Taj. If the ice creams were more cremier and didn't melt so soon...i can only imagine.

In summers if you try the mango ice cream, you'll find mango pieces in the ice cream. For a guy they have an assorted ice cream which is a mix of all their flavours. Must try!!
Sancha ice creams is one of the best non artificial flavored ice cream center I've ever been to, has only branch but it's simply amazing, the taste is so pure that you can actually feel the creaminess of the fruit flavors, the place is small and cosy well lit, it's worth the price, would definitely recommend it, rating it 4 for less variety of flavors available, surely try the coconut, mango, chocolate chips!

Sancha, a long-standing establishment, is renowned for its exceptional ice cream. Went to this place recently and tried the the Coffee Mocha flavor, which is a must-try for those who adore coffee. It had a delightful grainy texture, and the taste was simply outstanding. While it may be a tad pricey, the experience is undoubtedly worthwhile. Additionally, Sancha provides a seating area for customers, although securing a parking space in the evening can pose a slight challenge. π
Sancha Ice Creams is home. I go here Since I was a little girl. Uncle or aunty at the counter are home. Their ice creams are heavy cream. If you want to have the best butterscotch ice cream in the world, Sancha is your place. All the other flavours too are simply natural and amazing. I can feel the ice cream in my head as I write this. Their new ambience is very soothing. A light wood furniture with pastel embossed matte shine tiles in the background to their ice cream box the white brick wall, grey floor tiles. Go! Now!
I am visiting India after 3 years & straight after landing the first thing on my to do list was to visit Sancha. It's my childhood ice cream to go place. It still tastes the same! They're humble and polite as always. I am nostalgic and cannot express how I am feeling. One Google review is not enough to compliment. All their flavors are amazing. My personal favourites are sitaphal, kaju draksh, anjeer & mango(seasonal). Underrated place in the hub of versova. Please it's a mustttttttt whenever you're around. Value for money, quality is amazing, handmade and fresh. Never felt any synthetic textures or flavors, I forgot to buy banana and dates again one of my favourites. I wish I could have sancha in Europe π©·
One of the oldest icecream parlours in Andheri west near rock beach. I started having the vanila after years am still stuck on it. Cannot be compared with any other icecreams its yum the other seasonal flavours r musy try like mango, strawbery, sitaphal etc nd running flavours, kajudraksh, gulkand, tender coconut, butter scotch, chochip are round the year flavours. The place is quite and peaceful the staff is really good and makes u taste the icecreams happily!! Must try. They also deliver

We tried Sitaphal ice cream and like always it was best. Sufficient seating area inside. However, they have ample seating space outside too.
Parking can be an issue as it is a busy road and you have to park your vehicle wisely.
Amazing but limited flavours available. Sitaphal and tender coconut ice creams are the besssttttt. Looking forward to visit again. Nice place with decent staff.

I visited Sancha Ice Creams after almost 30 years. I was happy to find that they have maintained their excellent quality standards for their Icecream made from fresh fruits and other ingredients. No branches seems to be the secret of the strict quality control for their desserts. For me it was simply Nostalgic!!
We absolutely love the ice-cream at Sancha. The flavours are refreshing and I love that the ice-cream itself isn't so sweet and has a truly fresh flavour instead of the artificial essences that a few shops add.
Do try the chikoo, chocolate chip, mulberry and sitaphal flavours! On good days, you might find some parking space around or else it's best to walk in or order ahead.
Fresh hand churned ice cream . Real milk made ice cream. This place has been serving in cream since the 90's. The owners always welcome you with a smile. I just wish they improve the scoop size. Yeh dil mange more.
The ice-creams here are hand made. You can actually realise by their taste. So we had their choco chip ice-cream and it was sooooo good. There is a good sitting place here .
You will most of the time get parking here.
The staff is friendly and will let you try any flavour you want.
