Very pleasant service. Overpriced but food is tasty. Best for big parties and occasional dinners. Lovely host of the hotel and the staff is very friendly. The complimentary stuff and the warm welcome makes this place value for money. The cost wasn't too steep, but yes, it is comparatively expensive. The ambience was great. The music wasn't exactly as expected (soothing), rather it was a little pop music. The interior of the hotel is beautiful as well! Kudos :)

Recently I went to this place and I was so overwhelmed with the ambiance which is so beautiful and peaceful as well. Makani is located just opposite metro mall, bhandup. The restaurant offers Awadhi, Mughlai, Hyderabadi and North Indian cuisine. Restaurant has perfect ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. The service was good and the staff was courteous. Talking about the food we had. We had some refreshing Mocktails fruit punch and mango mule. Would highly recommend fruit punch. Also had some mouthwatering starters like lucknowi alu chat and subzi makani kabab. both these starters made our day. Coming to the main course. We had Veg Kolhapuri which was great in quantity and amazing , perfect for spicy lovers. For dessert we tried the Phirni. They had served it in a small earthern pot and tasted very delicious !! I have tried many variations of phirni till now, but so far this one’s my fav !! Overall Makani is a must go to satisfy all your food cravings.

Makani is one lavish places I have visited in Mumbai. Ambience - They have 3 types of seating. For dates, family and friends. I loved the Ambience too much. The staff is quite busy with due to good no. of footfall evryday. The food menu has a good variety and hence also tastes good enough. We had Mosambi Juice for the refreshment as it is also healthy and goes good with my appetite. Tomato Shorba - Always wanted to taste a good Shorba in Veg.This soup made my day with the good consistency and yes the best part it had ajwain biscuit like crunches in the soup. Must try. Murgh Cheese Lemon Tikka - That's quite a small innovation in the dish but was a good idea. Taste of cheese and lemon on the chicken made it even better. Murgh Methi Malai - The gravies have a good variation at Makani. We tried the Methi Malai. Good enough for two people and tastes good. Taftan was this bread which was extremely soft. Murgh Hyderabadi Biryani - The places seems very famous for their Biryanis and how they serve the Dum one's in alot of variety. The flour shut dum biryani tastes too good and how it is properly cooked and Aromatic. Also the chicken pieces inside are juicy and Yumm. MUST TRY THEIR BIRYANIS. Makani Special Falooda - Rich creamy and slightly mango flavoured with alot of Almonds and nuts in it. It was heavy and tasty to have. Shahi Tukda - It is a must try for dessert. Sewaiya pn top and alot of condensed milk in it with the crunch of the shahi tukda. It tasted too good.

so i visited this restaurant with my friend for lunch. makani name itself gives royal feeling. seating arrangemnt was fabulous. staff was really amazing and very helpful. i ordered... 🔷️chicken platter : chicken platter was really good with all types of chicken into it. it was having pahadi chicken,seekh kebab, harabara kebab, lollipop. 🔷️rara chicken : this gravy turned out to be awesome. with large chunks of chicken into it. i absolutely loved it. 🔷️naan and roti were fresh and very crispy. 🔷️kulfi : i ordered kulfi for dessert which was really tasty and i loved the presentation. 🔷️virgin mojito : this is my all time favourite and i totally enjoyed it. one of my best experience. i loved it...❤

I celebrated my last New Year with the love of my life Makani and this place left me speechless. The aura, ambience, food quality, crowd control management all so much well balanced. Usually during New Year we find so much trouble finding the right place with a fine dine experience and here we are ..right in Bhandup - the most exquisite place which has grown famous due to word of mouth publicity. They will keep you Waiting anyway. We had visited this place on weekday at 8pm.<br/>Food- The taste of food was good. But the quantity was very less for the price. Taste of evry item is awesome. I was amazed by the quality of food. Ambience of the hotel is like authentic Mahal. They have only one branch in India all other branch of this hotel are in Dubai. Service is nice. Makani, I have heard a lot about this place and finally paid a visit to it, located in a busy area of a bhandup opposite of a neptune mall, can be easily viewable from the road.<br/><br/>Ambience : The place will give a feeling of a lavish palace of a maharaja cz the interior is very much like a Royal Palace. They have a good big sofas and personal shamiana kind of a seating.<br/><br/>After a successful restaurant at the Dubai they have brought their lucknowi and awadhi cusine to mumbai. This was my second visit to Makani and with great disappointment I have decided not to visit again. They have pinacolada with ice cream but not in mocktail. They have bloody merry in cocktail but tomato sauce was not in kitchen so I cancelled that. Hakka noddles without a pinch of salt (tasteless noddles and I added table salt so that I can eat at least). Gosh galauti kabab was ok ok, not so grate. Then i ordered ghos dum biryani, to my surprise it was too salty, not only biryani but even raita was too much salty, and I expected something great in biryani but other than salty it was not something special. Makani ruin my Sunday family lunch.

This place has good ambience and food taste okayish.. The food is quite expensive guven the quality. Tandoor dishes are good in over all food. Makani

Makani is a very good restaurant if you are on LBS marg. Good ambiance and good food. We tried cold coffee, firni, butter chicken, naan and nonveg platter. All good with prompt service. Keep it up.... Makani.!!

Makani serves some real good mughlai cuisine with a variety of items listed on the menu.I tried the nonveg platter which was the combination of kebabs, prawns and fish.My kid loved the butter chicken..it was very good..In desserts we tried the phirni which was subtle in taste.<br/><br/>If you r a fan of mughlai cuisine.. makani is ur place to go.

There is no vallet parking as mentioned on zomato. There was no water in the washroom !!!!<br/>Chicken was hard and taste was average.<br/>Only thing good about this place is ambience and crockery unlike similar places in the area

Makani situated in bhandup is close to station also on LBS road.It has a very pleasant ambience with nice interior.I had food as well as drinks that tasted very good.Even the staff is good and suggest for their signature dishes.Overall experience was good.

First of all this place is located in Lorven House, LBS Rd, Opp. Magnet Mall, GKW Colony, Bhandup West. The restaurant is very much clean as well as service is outstanding. Food quality is very much good. But quantity is less. But no compromise with taste and quality. Food is incredible so cost is very much high. But you satisfied with all the thing like food, service, ambient air, music and all.<br/><br/>

I visited this restaurant with a bunch of friends. It has beautiful ambience like that of the mughal era. The lighting, colours, decor, and furniture, everything has been chosen perfectly as per the theme. Talking about the food, the taste is amazing. Everything that you order has a wonderful flavor. We tried the non veg mix platter that consists of starters of different types including chicken mutton and fish. In main course the lal mirch Ka murgh is a must try. The mutton dish we ordered was a red gravy, perfectly cooked with tender, melt in mouth boneless pieces. Overall a superb experience. One of the best fine dine restaurants in central mumbai.

Good experience in Makani with Family. I really impressed with the interior and ambience,the staff is also very helpful. But when comes to food,Makani has a really good quality food but the quantity is less as we expected. Overall a good experience here and I wish to visit here again.

Service was good, but the place had a serious hygiene issue. There were rats all over the place , we could a group of rats in the AC ducts, and some running on the floor.

It was my first visit to Makani and I was fully satisfied with the dishes that I ordered. Mutton cutlets, butter chicken, murgh biryani, Bombay masala biryani. Worth spending.

Very good services, staff is very friendly and loyal too. My friend accidentally left her debit card and the staff member came to return it. We were also given complimentary deserts. The table also got ready pretty soon hence the management of the hotel is awesome. I really like the ambience, it is perfect to enjoy a tasty shahi dinner with family.

Been there on a Sunday Evening. Once you enter the place the ambience and the tunes flowing throughout the floor brings good vibes and the feel of a fine dining setting. The chicken and mutton galauti kebabs were delicious and tender. The drinks were too good. Only complain is the Raan Biryani one of the signature dish in their menu is quite expensive and is not served in a proper way. There is no steak or meat knife to serve the Raan and server struggled to serve us in a even manner.

Excellent food with polite staff behaviour. Better location if you are looking for cozy environment.<br/><br/>Only thing missing was music, if that's add up then one can become a regular visitor. 😀

It’s been a very good experience ordering food from Makani. Their kababs are good starters but the Galawti kabab is the killer and you must try this. It’s little bit on spicier side. The quality of food is really good. We mostly have some tandoor and non veg item but they also have good veg option. <br/>Their Firni and Ras Malai are amazing desserts.
