Review Metime Cafe - Mumbai

Nikhil Sonawane
Each & every field has compitition nowadays, first their use to be some handfuls of cafe in every area now it's in every corner. Mostly every cafe has the same menu, same taste, only difference is the ambience. Some cafe in race of doing something different tends to overdo which in result spoiling the food. In the race of doing something different this cafe have won my heart. Not just the ambience but the concept is pretty amazing. What they offer is food but with that they also have a art room where the customer who loves art can show their talent. To do this you don't have to pay anything extra. Also the ordering is quite advanced here. You have to download a app where the menu is uploaded after selecting the desired food it will open your camera & boom the AR take place which shows the actual food & size. Guess what the AR is almost accurate with actual product. Coming towards to food. I have order hummus platter, veg lasagna, maxican pizza, vegan ice-cream & coffee. It's a veg Cafe but me being a hardcore non vegetarian i loved every item. Specially the hummus platter. Pizza was also excellent but lasagna was the real winner. Vegan ice-cream is something i have tried for first time & it was nice. Service was excellent, quality & quantity was good. Pricing is also impressive. Overall it's a beautiful place with good concept to spend time.

Art lovers here's something exciting for you all. This place is an heaven for art lover. Beautiful interiors amazing details to each and every corner of the café. They do have a indoor as well as outdoor seating. They are using a special type of AR menu by peAR application it's really easy to use and you already know what is going to be served because of the 3D image in the app. We tried: 1)Hummus platter - Beautifully presented dish and delicious and the best for light snacks. It has pumpkin hummus and kale hummus with olive oil and Crisps on the side. The whole platter is created like painters colour pallet. It was quite light and really amazing in taste. 2) 4cheese pesto sundried tomatoes pizza - An amazing thin crust pizza with lots of cheese. 4 different cheese gives it a different taste all together. The base sauce is pesto and garnished with some sundried tomatoes. Highly recommended. 3)Thai flavoured Asian bowl - Loved this concept and an amazing main course. Sesame tossed veggies, with soya chilli brown rice and baked panner in thai spices served with peanut sauce at side. Highly recommended 4) Strawberry cheesecake milkshake - the seasonal favourite strawberry and the dessert cheesecake in milkshakes the most divine combination altogether. Loved this really refreshing and beautifully made. Overall we had an amazing experience at this place the staff was really helpful. The place is very colorful that adds light to your dull day.

The ambiance is very lively and colourful, with varied art pieces and splendid decor . It is a confined area in a very peaceful surrounding . The service is good and the staff is extremely compatible and friendly. It's is just the place to be there for a vibrant yet quiet evening.!!

If non pretentious dining experience is what one seeks then this is the place. Its almost like a home stay kinda place. The food is great and the people there make an effort to make you feel welcome. Not very heavy on the pocket too. You can let your creative side loose here.

I have been to me time art cafe a couple of times and its fabulous. It's the perfect place to unwind with your family and friends. You can walk in anytime with your gang and paint a picture or have an arty birthday party for your kids or attend their regular art classes. It has something for all age groups. Also the cafe food is scrumptious. They have lots of options And food from around the world. I would definitely recommend to visit me time art cafe. Thank you me time for the good times.

I love their concept! A Cafe and Art Studio under the same roof. With live events on few days is just a bonus. You can walk in and paint/draw your heart out. They charge by the hour and it changes to what you are opting to draw/paint on i.e canvas or anything else. They also have a cafe which serves healthy food in a very artistic way. All in all you must visit this place!

I loved the ambience of Me Time Art Cafe. It’s a novel concept. They catered to my difficult food restrictions because I was eating vegan and gluten free Jain food. Even the presentation of the dishes was appetising. Well done.

Many food options for vegans, Jains and people with gluten intolerance. The decor is quite quirky. Fun place to spend time and draw or read. Some artwork created there by visitors can be bought

Damn unique experience of blending art with food. Grt for a variety of occasions- go solo painting on a lazy afternoon, do a party for kids or even adults, or just go for a meal to this cafe with a European easy breezy feel. Surprisingly value for money for a place like this

A quaint little melting pot of all life's pleasures: fine cuisine, a warm ambiance, the creative arts. . . You would never guess the food is both vegetarian and good for health. And unlike most of the newer cafés in Bandra, this one is affordable.

The ambience was beautiful. The food could be better . It wasn't bad, but I think you need to be on top of your game with food if you're looking to do well in this particular area of Mumbai .

Love it. I'm not much of a veg person, especially not when I'm out. But the food here is AMAZING! Also the place has a very young fun vibe which makes it better. GREAT AMBIENCE, AWESOME FOOD!

Real swanky place in the middle of town. Great food. They go out of their way to get you the best food possible in spite of all the food restrictions. Worth going there repeatedly. Great hosts. Congratulations to the promoters.

Great vegan menu. And very nice staff. Try the Thai Flavoured Asian bowl. I love it. They have delicious vegan ice creams as well.

The cafe has some unique decor and it’s heaven for art lovers. The doors have paintbrushes as handles and the menu is in the shape of a palette. The presentation of the hummus platter was super artsy, can be easily mistaken for oil colours on a palette! The staff was extremely friendly and warm. They have an art station behind the dining area. The station has some remarkable pieces of art - canvas paintings, ceramics, clocks, and a lot of other things! One can just step there and use the materials and start painting! They also have classes and workshops for people interested. Being an art enthusiast myself, I completely fell in love.

A lovely place to have a quiet and healthy meal. The ambience is really cozy and food is very fresh , healthy and delicious. I went there with a friend who barely eats vegetarian food and I can surely say the food here changed his perception about veg food. The home made vegan cookie cream ice cream was super delicious. The price is worth the food. Overall it was very satisfying experience and definitely I am coming here again.

I hadn’t heard of this place, and i had to google it when it was suggested. A small little place but with a very different and innovative ambience with a child learning and art area on the inside,a pet cafe outside and a dining area in between the 2. Well lit and a very feel good vibe around. Absolutely confused as to what to order we took their suggestions and went on to taste what they ordered. The hummus platter and the Vietnamese rolls were quite nice and something different. We then went on to order a pizza and a thai flavoured Asian bowl which was absolutely lip smacking. And the owner personally recommended a broth which was absolutely delicious. He went on to suggest 2 desserts,1 gluten free cookie and cream ice cream which was amazing,we didn’t realize it was gluten free at all. And along side we ordered a pannacota which was decent. However the service was super slow which was annoying after a certain point.

Where are the mushrooms in my dish? Also, what is this portion???? And last, I told them not spicy and it has chilly flakes on it 🙃<br/>Waist of money

Very very disappointing as the staff is quite rude.<br/>The food was decent but I would not recommend.<br/><br/>Few points to be noted includes.. small size, mandatory service charge levy, no GST charged, unfriendly staff, deccent food, good music.<br/>

After a long hectic day; it was too good to satisfy palate with amazing Green Thai curry and doodles. But what won us over was their gesture to serve the best of the world Apple Crumble, that too complimentary. You made our day, truly.

It’s a hidden gem, fantastic place. Celebrated my son’s 8th birthday party and the kids enjoyed painting and the awesome food. Great hospitality! 👍

As the name suggests, Me Time Art Cafe is one of a kind cafes which appeals to anything and everything artistic. Visited the place today with my husband, though empty; the vibe was something that really won me over. <br/><br/>Interiors - Everything about the interiors of this cafe screams art! From the entrance to the works of art on the walls, to paintings one can purchase, to the hangings and lanterns with creepers on the ceiling, this cafe has it all visually. <br/><br/>Food - The menu looked more like a healthy guilt free one with gluten free , vegan and even jain options. We ordered the soup of the day which was tomato basil soup and a vegetarian pesto green lasagna. <br/>The soup was good and tasty, however, I felt the portion was relatively smaller considering the price charged for it. No accompaniments like soup sticks or bread were served with it. The lasagna served with 1 slice of bread was also delicious. No issues on the taste on that one. <br/><br/>Beverage - I ordered the regular cappuccino. Though prices on the coffees served here are relatively lower than other places, it lacked in flavour as per me. Coffee was very flat. <br/><br/>Price - The price as per me on food was slightly on the higher side considering the quantity; however, the taste was good. <br/><br/>Service - Was good considering we were the only people there! <br/><br/>Verdict - Surely a visit for the theme as well as the food. I may try the healthier beverages next time instead of the coffee though. <br/>

BAKED PHILLY CHEESECAKE at Me Time Art Cafe, Mumbai<br/><br/>As the name suggests me time art cafe has a decor of beautiful art pieces which gives out a very warm welcoming vibe. They serve continental, vegan and really yummy desserts.<br/>We opted for the Baked philly cheesecake. The cheesecake is one of the best we have ever had, so good it melts in your mouth! It is topped with a seasonal compote.<br/>Priced at Rs. 300/-<br/>The quantity is not happening for the price.

This place is tucked in the by-lanes of Bandra. The ambience is artsy and pretty, they have decorated the place in an amazing way with intrinsic details, right from paint brush door knobs to a book chandelier. Their menu too represented the artistic vibe. Food is comforting and absolutely delicious. We had the vegetable lasagna, which was truly authentic with fresh and vibrant flavours. The feta kale and onion flat bread was good but I was expecting more feta cheese and caramelized onions instead of translucent onions (my only criticism for this place). Ice tea was refreshing and yum. We also ordered the apple crumble, it was beautifully presented with cute glasses filled with gooey crumble goodness paired with vanilla ice cream. Overall a good place with great music and dim lights to warm our tummy and heart.

Amazing ambience, amazing food, top class service and superb theme. Vegetarian and pet friendly with indoor as well as outdoor seating. Could anyone ask for more in a place like Bombay?! We had a perfect Sunday evening. Even though the place was slightly empty, the vibe of this place is brilliant. Our server Morgan was really kind and their service is phenomenal. We ordered for the samosas unfortunately it was unavailable but the feta cheese flat bread and lasagne more than made up for it. The food was fresh and really tasty. The cold coffees were alright too. Very well priced for it's portion size and a must visit especially if you are looking at some meaningful family time and some team bonding activity. The best part is you don't even have to leave your four legged babies back home! Definitely coming back here again and hopefully this time I get my baked samosas :-)

This place is truly a hidden gem. The food is finger licking good, ambience is very artsy and unique and the service is amazing! Could not have had a better experience.<br/>We started off with an absolutely delicious hummus platter which looks as artsy as the place is. There's a variety of different hummus flavours served along with lavash and pita bread. We also had the sun-dried Tomato pesto parmesan tartine, which is so different from just a regular bruschetta and even more yummy. For main course, we had the Mexican bowl, it was spicy and a good mix of flavours. We finished off the heavenly meal with a walnut chocolate gooey brownie.. need I say more?<br/>The service by Mr. Morgan was what topped off our evening and made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely go back again for some good food and creative art sessions.

Based on the reviews on Zomato, I planned to visit this art themed cafe. My experience over here turned out to be fantastic!<br/>We were served by Mr.Morgan who provided us with some amazing service. Very interactive and well versed with the menu, suggesting us a few dishes which turned out to taste perfect. <br/><br/>This cafe is located in a quiet and peaceful lane.<br/>The atmosphere of this place is extremely soothing and serene. Ambience within is really unique and fantastic! There’s an area full of paintings and other art works. The interiors are very well designed.<br/><br/>The things which we ordered for were;<br/>1.Hummus Platter - Never seen such a hummus platter like this one! The presentation resembles perfection and uniqueness. The taste even outdoes the presentation.<br/><br/>2.Sun Dried Tomatoes Tartine - I have never had a tartine ever before having this one. It was exceptionally mouth watering and yum. This deadly combination of bread, pesto sauce, sun dried tomatoes and parmesan would drive you nuts. Definitely a must try! Worth every penny. <br/><br/>3.Mexican Rice Bowl - A fabulous blend of Mexican rice, sour cream, kidney beans, jalapeños and corn. A perfect item for spice-lovers.<br/><br/>4.Walnut Chocolate Brownie - The only word that can precisely describe it is YUM. Wonderfully presented. Tastes even better!<br/><br/>Overall I had a lovely experience. Would highly recommend this cafe. The food served over here is worth every penny. One should definitely try this amazing place out!

Great food - we had only vegan and it all tasted great including their home made vegan ice cream. Our two year old daughter had a fun time painting...the people and staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this place and go back too!<br/>

I really liked the concept of this Cafe, it's an art studio and Cafe. Cherry on the top they let me get my pets here. We all had a nice evening with friends at this Cafe. The place is beautifully done. One can paint and learn also. Hummus platter, margherita pizza, shakes, pasta were all good.

This place is based on such a novel concept! Loved the outdoor seating arrangement. Everything has an artsy element to it right from the decor to the way the food is served. We ordered the cashewnut cream cheese and avocado croissant sandwich which was out of this world! It was so delicious, we really relished it! They also have a great art studio which awakens creative streak in you! Super professional and courteous service. Loved our experience here and we are definitely coming back! Highly recommend it for a nice evening meal / coffee!

Oh if only a date place could be like this. 600 bucks for adults to paint sounds like a big deal but it isn't if you are one of those who keep wondering around in a place like mumbai eating food to spend time with your special someone. This place is a superb way to be creative and romantic (don't mind cute kids painting around you).<br/>Canvas painting is redefined in a cafe n for me, that deserves an extra star. The cheesecake was mouthwatering and the coffee was hot and flavoured to perfection. A smiling staff was an icing on the cake and to put it in perspective, so was the table space.<br/>Do not miss the nutella cake either.

So im a vegan and i chose this place because i saw on zomato that it serves good number of Vegan Options..<br/><br/>On reaching the place, we were super happy to know this cafe is with a beautiful concept. The concept is they have lot of resources for a painter or nonpainter to come, learn, paint , draw and explore their creative side, while they also help if you're stuck. Thus the name "me time art cafe"<br/><br/>We dint end up painting.because we reached quite late nd there is help only till 8.30pm..and because we were starving we just ordered food..<br/><br/>The food was amazing, extremely upto the mark.<br/>I ordered peach ice tea which I've found is full of essence at most places. I loved it here, it wasn't too.sweet. The other thing we ordered was the eggplant tartine and the asian bowl which were both amazing. Atlast they also have vegan ice-cream that completes any meal.<br/><br/>I loved the vibe of this cafe, its really very colorful and has these creative little corners..<br/><br/>Im definitely visiting this cafe again.

One fine evening I discovered this cute little place. Art studio and cafe under one roof. From morning 11 to evening 8 one can pay a certain amount of money and learn from experts. They provide you all the stationary material. <br/><br/>Artistic decor done by owner's wife who is an artist herself was commendable. The place has really cozy vibes. They have an alfresco pdr setup for small parties apt for barbecue. They have set menus for that setting. <br/><br/>This place not only did a good job in ambiance but the food was also delicious. This place is specialized in serving healthy, European and Continental options. The ingredients used are fresh and of superior quality. As per owner unlike other places they don't make their sauces in huge batches but make small batches to keep the taste as real as it can. <br/><br/>Freshly baked Onion, Kale and Feta flatbread was such a simple dish. But the taste of fresh bread was at just another level.<br/><br/>The Mexican Pizza, a thin crust, topped with peppers, cottage cheese and Jalapeno was superb. I dont like a lot of drama in my pizzas. I am a fan of simple pizzas where I can savor the flavors of cheese. This was just bang on. <br/><br/>They bake their Croissants fresh every time and use imported flour for that rise and fluff as in authentic french croissants. Tried a croissants sandwich with tomato pate, tomatoes, pomegranate and cheese shaving. This was served with sweet potato crispies.<br/><br/>Lemon coriander soup in basil broth is a winner if you are a fan of clear soups. The stalk had strong flavor of lemongrass as well. Chopped veggies made this one soothing and comforting.<br/><br/>Warm kale, pokchoy and mushroom salad was simple. A hit for someone who like there meal warm. Mushrooms were succulent and juicy. Just a suggestion if they could crisp the kale to add a required crunch in this salad it will be just fantastic.<br/><br/>Hummus platter a visually appealing dish with a dramatic presentation had Kale, Pumpkin and pepper hummus with crispy kale, baked carrot chips served with fresh thin pita and lavaash. <br/><br/>We ended our meal with this fresh strawberry cheesecake. It was good and the chef made the strawberry sauce like an artist... Take a bow for this great meal.<br/><br/>I am happy the last meal of my New Year was this good. <br/><br/>Best part is this place is so decently priced.<br/><br/>

Me time art cafe is located at Khar , very close to Aarth restaurant .<br/><br/>As the name suggest this place oozes art from every square inch right from the entry to the exit .Not only the ambiance but also every dish served here revolves around art .<br/><br/>The cafe has been entirely designed by the owner who is an artist . Minimalistic , modern yet chic is what defines this place . There is a dessert display counter right at the entry with all their jaw dropping desserts which are made in house , a workshop area where everything related to art is displayed including paints , brushes , aprons , canvas , colour palette etc . Art supplies are provided to the guests on request if they wish to paint .<br/>An alfresco section where guests can have their own kitty party or mini celebration .<br/>The entire place is very well lit & the vibe of the place is peaceful where you wish to spend hours surrendering yourself to the world of creativity in every respect of the term .<br/>They have a whole range of fresh juices to choose from which are immensly delicious & also very refreshing & nutritive sans any preservatives .<br/>Of all the items that I tried here , one thing which caught my attention was the wafer thin pizza 'Without' any sauce . It was the Best pizza I ever had in my entire life & shall remember it for the rest of my life .<br/>With the pizza base dough made from scratch topped with melted cheese , toasted walnuts & the works ...the pizza waa to die for ! Highly Recommended .<br/>The lemon corriander soup had thai flavours served piping hot having minced veggies & quinoa which scored full marks hands down !<br/>Also the mushroom soup was thick & bursting with flavours .Loved it .<br/>The super thin & immensly crisp Sweet Potato chips were par excellence & we simply couldnt resist calling for a second helping .<br/>The humus platter was served on a wooden colour palette with 3 varieties of humus which was just exceptional in all respect .<br/><br/>Everytime a dish is served here you spend 5 minutes only observing the awe inspiring plating & presentation .<br/><br/>Imagine the door handles here are replaced by paint brushes ! Speechless !<br/><br/>We tried the classic dal chawal & bhindi which was Soul Comforting to say the least which was simply cooked with a lot if love & had a ghee flavour which was just class apart .<br/><br/>Lastly we tried the apple crumble which again left us dumbstruck not only with its presentation but the overall taste was unbeatable .<br/><br/>The service scores 10/10<br/>Im coming here again & again & again .<br/><br/>Dont Miss this place .<br/>Its pure veg serves no alcohol , every item is fresh , healthy & made from scratch to perfection .<br/>One of the Best restaurant I'v visited so far & shall return without a doubt .<br/>Give it a shot . It will leave a lasting memory .<br/><br/>

One of my favourite things about this cafe is the aesthetic decor. Relatively new, this place has the YUMMIEST croissant and cheesecake and good for lazing. You can see kids scrolling here and there for artwork and it's put up everywhere. The staff is really very sweet. However, the coffee isn't the best so go for that extra punch smoothie. I would like to recommend this place not just for food but the concept, having art studio to explore your different side along with specific and delicious food make you to fall for this place.<br/>Great ambiance with barbecue set up in alfresco and interiors designed carefully mapped perfectly with name , seems lot of hard work has been done. Moreover you can buy the beautiful paintings hung on one of the walls.<br/>Owners must have passion to do this.<br/>Talking about food with numerous varieties from pizza , pasta to salads to croissants and flat breads is awesome.<br/>We ordered Mexican pizza as suggested to us, thin base fried peppers and cottage cheese + jalapeno, is actually best choice.<br/>Imported Flat bread freshly made with toppings of fried onion, feta cheese and kale served with garlic butter sauce is again mind-blowing.<br/>Croissants sandwich was soft and stuffed with sun dried tomatoes , pomegranate sauce served with sweet potatoes chips , a must try.<br/>Hummus platter seems to be USP , presented in unique way like color tray of painter having various color hummus like pepper base, kale base along with peta breads is amazing.<br/>Best part is they prepared each and everything fresh then and there only for each order.<br/><br/>Wud love to go again to explore more

<br/><br/>A place where food meets art beautifully.<br/><br/>Cafe + Art studio together to explore your creativity with some healthy and produce food gives perfect experience to anyone.<br/><br/>Ambiance with lot of paintings and doodles makes the interior creative and set the mood. The outdoor PDR is just right for this weather. One can have barbecue in the alfresco setup. The area accommodates around 15-20 people. <br/><br/>Coming to food, the menu consists of some healthy and vegan food. The produce used in the food also is of superior and fresh quality.<br/><br/>They have a really high end high tea menu also.<br/><br/>We started with Lemon coriander soup - A clear soup with vegetables and hint of lemongrass in basil broth was soothing.<br/><br/>Salad- Warm salad consists of kale, mushrooms and pok choy was appetizing.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Onion, Kale and Feta Flat Bread - A freshly baked flat bread with caramelized onion, kale and feta was superb. <br/><br/>Pizza 10'' Mexican having roasted peppers, perfect fresh thin crusted pizza in sriracha base sauce and olives with cottage cheese. A must have pizza as this is such a simple yet tasted so good.<br/><br/>Croissants sandwich having sun dried tomatoes pate, pomegranate stuffing, Parmesan shaving and basil was good. The flour of croissant is imported and is baked every time fresh. Crisp sweet potato chips on the side made it a healthy meal.<br/><br/>Hummus platter did a good job in presentation and in taste too.. The presentation was too dramatic as the food was served in color plate having colorful hummus- pumpkin, kale and pepper flavors served with fresh pita, lavash, kale crisps, baked carrot chips. A 10/10 for taste and presentation.<br/><br/>Finally i ordered strawberry cheese cake- freshly made strawberry cheese cake is rare to find and hats off to the restaurant for keeping all things made fresh. This was delicious.<br/><br/>Fantastic is an understatement for this place.<br/><br/>

This is really nice new place in Bandra with an excellent selection of food (with vegan options!) - where you can paint and do some art, and also bring your pets along☺️<br/>The dairy free ice cream in particular was to die for.<br/>The flatbread, tartines, sweet potato crisps and hummus platter are also amazing. <br/>Would definitely visit Me Time Art Café over and over again!

So, it's pet friendly Cafe, with good ambience. Took my cat along, who seemed quite relaxed. Food was fine, they can increase portion size. Desert was really nice. What stood out most though, was their hospitality. Even after few goof ups with sitting area, order and bill, they managed to depart us with a smile. Would like to particularly mention their manager bimal, who took special efforts to correct the things. Will visit again :)

In a monotone of Mumbai life where people crave for experiences and change from predictable daily routines, me time cafe is a breath of fresh air. I was initially reluctant about going to a cafe that doesn't serve drinks on a Saturday night but ambience and personalised touch to service, decor and experience in general was a pleasant change. For those who are health conscious but at the same time want to tingle their taste buds me time cafe has plenty to offer. Please don't miss avocado salad, garlic kale walnut with truffle oil pizza, desi Bowl and end with a high on a Apple crumble. Will definately go again and may be indulge in some art activity over food.

They don't need any canvas, paints etc to spell it's an art cafe the food presentation says it all. Enjoyed the food and it's display. Fresh, clean and simple food versus the fusion trend you see today. Enjoyed it a lot.

Ambience is cute, theme is fresh, taste is out of the world and service was probably the best I have experienced in a while. Will recommend this place to everyone looking for a healthy, tasty and happy outing. Cheers.

The place is different. It's theme is very arty. Food is good. Snacks are great. Very chilled out place. Feels like a real small European café.
