A really small cafe and Kebab 🥙 place in South Bombay, the taste is amazing so does the ambience ✨ it's a really small place in the line of Gateway of India. The place is a must visit for 🍢 kebab 🍢 and Tandoor lovers, we got the experience to meet the owner he is from north and thus his passion for food 🍜 he decided to open this restaurant and he wanted Mumbai 🏙️ to try some amazing Lucknow kebab 🍢 and tandoor 🍗 so he collated some really good chefs 🧑🍳 from around the town and filled the menu with some out of the town dish 🍽️.
They have a good number of items in the menu 📖 which you can explore, kebab 🥙 and tandoors 🍢 are recommended. However, we tried something that the owner🤵 recommended us, I made him very clear that I will not like to try anything sweet :
1. Murgh 🐔 tikka Makhani - It's a creamy and tangy taste with yellowish white 🤍 type gravy. It was really melting and soft.
2. Murgh tikka roll 🌯- We tried this in Rumaali roti 🫓, I felt it was a bit dry can be more juicy further the quantity was okay. It can be more juicy and tangy.
3. Murgh 🐓 Masala Biryani - It was not like an ordinary biryani 🌾 where you will get sallam and rice 🍚 it was a proper mixture and something different. I'll definitely recommend this to try.
It was an amazing experience with a lot of options to try and to explore. Something different than other kebab 🥙 and tandoor corners. Only thing that I felt was table 🛋️ and sitting 🪑 capacity was very very less. Only 2 tables with a small chair 🪑.

Recently visited Kababgunj. This is small six seater restaurant, little too small but grandeur of this food is unbeatable. We ordered galaouti kababa, ulta tawa paratha, murg tikka makhani, masala chaas everything was wonderful. Superb taste. Their galaouti kabab is unmissable.
Must visit for food lovers

This place has seating for just 6 ppl over 3 small tables. They have an open kitchen so you can stand outside and eat too. We tried the galauti kebab, the makhani tikka and the malai tikka roll. The makhani tikka was the highlight except for the fact that it was tad salty in places. Best had with tawa paratha. The plus point is that these guys prepare the food fresh. The meat is soft and juicy. The breads are prepared and kept so you may be a little disappointed about that. But definitely a place to go if you like kebabs. It's just a 300m walk from colaba causeway and next to radio club. Parking for cars maybe a problem during peak hours

We hopped to Kebab Gunj after a late evening show and we're pleased to see quite a variety of items on the menu whilst the outlet was a quaint little shoplet. The owner proudly spoke about his galuti kebabs and mutton cutlets but they were over so we could not taste them. But the roti chicken starters and the seeek kababs truly were amazing. It is more of a takeaway place as parking is a issue there, but having a quick grab there too works! Perfect for a hop stop after a show or if you just wanna stroll outside and want a quick munch

Very small place for hardly 6 sittings.
But they mentioned for a group of 8 - 10 ppl we can make bookings online and they will reserve it.
We were not sure about the as there were many negative reviews about the food
The food was really worth the price as compared to other good restaurants and super delicious.
The staff is also very polite.
We ordered:
1. Chicken galawati kabab( it really reminded me of Lucknow's tunday kabab)
2. Chicken tikka starter
3. Chicken handi( which was similar in taste like galawati kabab masala) with all the 3 types of rotis. My personal preference is roomali roti.
The rotis were made of wheat flour only no maida
The overall cost for our meal was around ₹1150 only for two ppl.
Tasty food at affordable rates.

Good place for kebabs! But it's a bit expensive. Must try their peach ice tea 🔥 along with their kebabs. Had Chicken seekh kebab (5/5) and Chicken Galoti kebab (4/5) and Peach Ice tea (6/5) XD

Best place for authentic
Their kebabs, tikkas are too good!
Especially their tandoori aloo
Good variety in mains too!
Their gravies are quite different from others since they don’t add any artificial colours or flavouring. All the spices used are homemade. Even the ambience is quite good but the restaurant space is a bit small.
Some of the dishes I recommend you all are :-
Paneer tikka makhani
Murgh malai tikka & Tandoori aloo
I surely recommend you all to visit this must visit once!

Food - 5/5
Quality - 5/5
Quantity - 5/5
Ambience - 3/5 (need more sittings)
Service - 4/5
The most recommended dish here - Mutton Galawati Kebabs. Tender, delicate and melts in the mouth. You can also have Mutton Makhani Tikka and Mutton Seekh.
There is a crunch in sittings and space so you might need to wait in queue for a longer time also or get your car and dine in the car.
Enjoy the Kebabs !!

Visited this place to try out mutton kebabs. I had the best and juiciest mutton kebabs. OMG! They just melt in your mouth.
Only couple of tables to dine-in. Not much space. But you must visit and try it out fresh and hot.
Owners are very friendly.

I visited Kebab Gunj today with a close friend & my first reaction was, "the place is so small, yet so tidy & chic, the interiors are also appealing, let's see what the plate has on it!" As we both were slightly light on our appetite, we called for a plate of Mutton Galouti Kebabs (pardon me if I have misspelled although the pronunciation is correct ;-) ), murg tikka & 2 rotis along with a cold drink. The meal was delicious & the kebabs were worth drooling over (they were so soft & juicy).
We also got an opportunity to meet one of the proprietors & it was delightful to gain some food knowledge from him over some pleasantries.
5 STARS (Without any doubt)
Value for money. (Reasonably priced over served quantity.)
Keep up the good work, keep growing, & pamper the souls of foodies with delicacies, who would keep coming back.
Good luck!

Awesome Galawati Kebab with Paratha- melts in mouth, different kind of Murgh Tangdi not the usual charcoal grilled but excellent in taste!
Different kind of Butter chicken good in taste! Mughlai paratha too good.Masala Biryani good but that was not per our taste buds! On the whole value fr money! Must try joint if never tried!
Did a takeaway of kadhai paneer and dal makhani. The kadhai paneer was extremely oily. We had to remove spoons full of oil before eating. Too much onion in the gravy. The dal makhani was runny. It was more of gravy and less of urad dal/rajma. The cinnamon and bay leaf seasoning was very over powering.

Had been to this place with a recommendation of a friend. I'm not a mutton lover but to my surprise fell in love with the mutton gullauti kabab totally melting in mouth . The rolls were too yummy and pararthas nicely blended with all the kababs .

I shifted to Mumbai in August...leaving behind my north Indian Taste buds....with vada pao and amchi mumbai local food i knew some where in my heart I was missing the mesmeric avadhi flavour. And one fine friday evening i came accross Kebab Gunj....i can say I discovered the taste of lucknow in the heart of Mumbai...Kebab Gunj. More than they have amazing delicious food they have one thing special an ingredients which replicates the cultural mix of lucknownavi tehzib and Mehman nawazi...Its a home for me away from home.....

Let's Hog Some Food
Kebabgunj is a small place behind colaba market a little inside opposite the sea face. The place accomodates 6-7 people only, more of a delivary outlet serving fantastic kebabs and biryanis. I am not a very great fan of tandoori tikkas, here still i had 2 pieces of panner tikka which was so nice, i loved it. Panner was soft fresh and marination was much. The same with the chicken tikka. The mint chutney served along with it was amazing. Moreover, their mutton seekh kebabs were mouthmelting and juicy. I wanted to try veg galouti kebab, but it was not available, as i have heard about their galoutis a lot. In mains i had begum panner makhani and mutton kheema with their mughlai paratha which is made with maida and milk and so soft. Even the panner makhni was good. Their mutton kheema is a must try and to die for. They make limited mutton kheema not much so it doesnt get wasted. Lastly ended up my meal with matka rabdi kulfi, the best one. It wasnt more sweet nor less sweet, it was perfect as it has to be! A must visit to this place serving good portions and great food in a very less quantity!

~ Kebab Gunj is a tiny restaurant (mostly takeaway) dedicated to Lucknowi cuisine in Colaba, Mumbai. To start with firstly, a passionate foodie Mr. Rahul, the owner of this little restaurant doing wonders with the super delicious food that he is serving!
Sometimes its not just the size of a place but only and only the taste and quality of the food that matters!

It is a cafe with 2 tables and a open kitchen.

What we tried -

Non veg -
Murgh Tikka Makhani
Murgh Galawati
Mutton Galawati
Mutton Seekh
Murgh Seekh

Veg -
Tandoori aloo
Paneer Tikka

Absolutely everything was super delicious and full of taste there was nothing that we felt needed something - it was just PERFECT!
Our favourite and recommended are the mutton as well as chicken galawati was super soft and it melted right on our tongue.
Murgh Tikka Makhni - the chicken pieces were soft and the marination tasted absolutely fantastic.

Here, we also witnessed super super super delicious food, super cool owner, super sweet Mrs. Deepika - co owner!

Food - 6/5
Ambience 4/5
Staff 5/5

- Kunal | Sushmita

When one finds the flavours of Old Delhi in the streets of Mumbai, it's definitely a sort of accomplishment. Kebab Gunj located in Colaba boasts of some mouth watering Awadh cuisine. We had ordered Galouti kebabs (both chicken and mutton), mutton seekh kebab, their famous makhani chicken tikka and butter chicken, along with Mughlai paranthas. Each and every dish was cooked to perfection, exuding of mind boggling flavours and succulency, hitting just the right notes with ones palate.
Honestly, the food was so tasty, that I actually wished that the after taste of the food would just linger for a long time to come.
Definitely a place that must be visited if you know what real kebabs and tikkas are all about.

@Kebabgunj is a place which hails from the city of Lucknow with its mouth watering Awadhi cuisine.
This place is not only famous for its non vegetarian dishes but vegetarian as well.
Serving from Galawati, Tikkas, Tangdi to Seekh and Biryanis, Kebab Gunj will definitely satisfy your cravings this monsoon!

Bombae rains surely calls for some fresh and hot kebabs and while at Colaba, nothing tempts me more than going to this hub to satisfy my cravings with Lucknow special taste.
Right behind Radio Club, this kebab hub has always been on my list for like sometime for all that it has to offer, be it kebabs, rolls or biryanis.

I absolutely love their delicious and creamy Murgh Tikka Makhani with Mughlai Paratha which was absolutely heavenly as the Paratha was softer than anything I could imagine. Their Mutton seekh kebab and Murgh seekh kebab are surely worth having once here and yes the Mutton galawati you get here is like nowhere else, the softest, delicate, tastiest one is what will surely make your day as it always does to me!

In The Midst Of Colaba not very far from The Gateway Of India lies this wonderful kebab place which will never fail to impress you!

Being a vegetarian I found their kebabs spot on and were just perfect.

Their Paneer Tikka had some really awesome flavor and coming to the other Tandoori Aloo it managed to better the Paneer Tikka!

Their Rolls are pretty impressive too and they are worth the visit!

I've ordered from this restaurant for home delivery a lot. Their serving is adequate and superb food. Their Murg Tangdi is a must try. Butter chicken Biryani is also one dish one should definitely try.

Had great expectations from Kebab Gunj. Unfortunately, their Mughlai menu fails to impress.

Veg Galouti Kebab (1/5): A preparation for vegetarian customers. It was difficult for us to digest and finish the kebabs. Not recommended.

Chicken Biryani (2/5): The biryani tasted pretty average. It was neither spicy nor flavourful. Just tasted like plain rice mixed with chicken pieces. Not recommended.

The space is pretty crammed up for dining. To make matters worse, we were constantly disturbed by flies lurking around. They should do something about the flies.

If they have space constraints, they could consider switching to delivery service instead. I see great scope in Kebab Gunj. Hope they improve their service in future.
I have frequented this place for sometime and it usually has decent food at a reasonable price but we have had the worst experience at this restaurant this time around. We placed an online order and received half a potion. We called the restaurant to inform them and the person assured us that he would send us a replacement. After 15-20 minutes of waiting for or order we receive a call from a lady who claims ‘to be responsible for the restaurant’. I explain the situation to her and then goes on to argue that they have not made a mistake. She then tells us that if we want a replacement we can come collect it ourselves as they have no one. She continues to argue for another 5 minutes and is extremely rude and then hangs up on us. This was a horrendous experience, I wouldn’t recommend anyone order from this joint simply for their horrible service, sub par quantity, quality and lack of manners. Truly disappointing.

Tucked in the bylanes near Radio Club is honestly, the best kebabs I have eaten in Mumbai. A friend from Lucknow introduced it to me and even went so far as to compare it with the kebabs in Lucknow, which we know are pretty much the best available out there.
What I really love about this place is how perfectly tender and juicy their meats are cooked, whether it's a chicken tikka, seekh kebab or galouti kebab. The place is small and about 6-8 people can only sit at a time, but it's soo worth it.
The Murgh Malai tikka and galouti kebab with paratha are a MUST try!

Awesome destination for Lucknowee delicacy, galawati kebabs, Rolls, and Mughlai chicken dishes. Though the space is constraint, a group of four would fill the restaurant. It's a good joint for take aways and online food order. Love the food.

What an amazing experience dining at Kebab Gunj. In the hunt for good Mughlai Cuisine in town, we stumbled across Kebab Gunj which is located in the lane next to Radio Club at Colaba. We tried the Galawati Kebabs, Butter Chicken, Seekh Kebabs & Malai Tikka. The tikkas were juicy and packed a lot of flavour.

I came across kebab Gunj while walking near radio club at Colaba. I was looking around to eat good kebabs and curry. The Kebabs and Butter Chicken at Kebab Gunj is one of the best in town. Apart from these , the galawati kebabs which is their speciality are the best I have had ever.

This is a small 3 table restaurant located in Colaba just in the lane adjacent to Radio Club serving authentic Mughlai & Awadhi cuisines like kebabs, biryani, gravies and rolls.

I must say, I havn't had such juicy and flavorful kebabs in the longest time. We ordered Chicken Makhani Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Sheekh Kebab and were also served a complimentary portion of Mutton Galawati Kebabs by the owner of the place. The Chicken Tikka and the Galawati kebabs were so soft that it melts in the mouth. Mutton sheekh was spot on. The portions are also generous.

We also ordered roomali roti along with the Kebabs. This place is 100% recommended.

The service was a bit slow though but then the food was just worth the wait.

A small restaurant located in the heart of town serves and delivers authentic Mughlai & Awadhi cuisines like kebabs, biryani, gravies and rolls.

Roaming around Gateway of India, me along with my friend explored this restaurant and our love for mughlai food made us try food at this place. We ordered Chicken & Mutton Galawati Kebabs, Chicken & Mutton Seek Kebab. These turned out to be the best kebabs we ever had. Galawati kebabs are so soft that it melts in the mouth. Food is supposed to fill your tummy but tasting such delicious kebabs made us have more of it.

We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka and Butter Chicken with roomali roti. These were equally satisfying and delicious. And to beat the heat, we had Matka Malai Kulfi.

We would recommend Kebab Gunj for the best of mughlai & awadhi cuisines like different kebabs & biryanis. This is the ultimate destination in town who loves non-veg food.

What a delightful experience it's been at Kebab Gunj! I had no idea about this place until I actually visited them and I am proud to say that I am a fan.

Kebab Gunj is owned by a passionate foodie couple and their love for this venture comes across by the quality of food that is absolutely top-notch. With chefs right from the streets of Lucknow, Kebab Gunj does delicious Awadhi cuisine.

It's literally a whole in the wall, located in the lane next to Radio Club at Colaba and thrives on home deliveries. But there's a limited seating too and they'd be happy to serve you at the outlet too.

Here's what we had:

1. Murg Malai Tikka: Diced boneless Chicken pieces marinated in delicious spices and cooked in cream, there were utterly delicious. It is also one of their most popular dishes.
2. Tandoori Aloo: Skewered potatoes that were tossed in a creamy marination make for a hearty vegetarian starter.
3. Mutton Seekh: we tried the mutton Seekh and thought it was slightly chewy but nonetheless good.
4. Ulte tawe ka paratha: Served hot this paratha was surprisingly soft and tasted delicious with the kebabs. In fact we even had a few bites of the parathas alone cause they were truly that good.
5. Chicken Biryani: A good quantity of Chicken Biryani where there's fragrant masala rice and ripe chunks of chicken all well marinated and finger-licking good.
6. Galouti kebabs: For us this was the show stealer. We just couldn't stop eating these melt-the-mouth kebabs especially with parathas.

If you like Moghlai cuisine, would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and enjoying the food here as much as I did. Plus, they are extremely budget-friendly and absolute Value For Money!

Had ordered NAWAB MURGH MAKHANI BIRYANI (Boneless). It was too delicious!! Biryani came with Green Chatni and Chicken Masala/Gravy separately. So you can add Chicken Gravy/Masala as per your taste. It was neither too spicy nor oily, but perfect!

Extremely disappointing in vegetarian dish. Mutton Galouti is more play of chana less of Mutton. Not worth the rating. . tandoori Alo is spread with cream, making it bland. Veg galouti is Again chana with no veg and is bland. Waiter is courteous

My definition of good meat always comes with the adjective "succulent". The meat needs to be succulent and if its Galouti Kebab, more so. This joint actually serves you proper galouti kebab, the closest one can get, in Bombay. Amazing taste! Must try! Go for the mutton one.
.
.
And don't believe if they sell you vegetarian galouti kebab, nothing like that exist in the real world.

Best place to have galouti kebab . It just melts in your mouth. It goes well with mughlai paratha. This was my second visit in the restro and many more to go.
The small outlet nearby gateway of India serving authentic lucknowi cuisine. We tried chicken galawti kabab which was soft, smooth, and rich in spices. We also tried murgh tangdi which were best in taste. Tandoori chicken leg topped with cream. Murgh masala biryani was good in taste but very dry. It was pleasant dinner with pocket friendly tasty meals. Must visit.

Sorry to rate this low....But truly disappointment😣 found this place on zomato and after seeing reviews about food was very excited to visit this place. Place is little hard to find and inside. Comes to the important part which is FOOD. Had ordered murg golati kabab 2/5 was extremely oil and no taste and spice in it. Further rumali roti and luckhnowee murg korma 1/5 was only taste less gravy and rumali rotis size was same as roti no softness, thin and large😒👎 seriously wasted money and current tastebirds too..
Lbobby
Ordered the galouti, tandoori chicken and butter chicken. The galouti was fantastic. The tandoori chicken is marinated differently but tasty and more importantly not dry which is most important unlike other outlets which tend to over cook it. The butter chicken was good though needed some more butter as I felt it was on the watery side though flavor wise it was great. Can only get better. Hidden gem. Keep up the good work. Also adhered to the request for extra chutney and onions. Thank you.

Updated review;Ordered the food 6 months later, the green chutney was watery as hell, I haven't tasted a more watered down version in my life. Asked for extra onions lime and they sent minuscle portions even lesser than when I order 500 rs order and this order was double the amount. Ordered 1 paratha and 1 roomali and they sent 2 roomalis. Chicken masala Biryani was poor in flavor and dry. The galouti and chicken korma were good but Its sad to see a place which had potential is now going down the road of commercialisation where quality in service and food quality and service has drastically deteriorated.

This place is small & cozy. Their food and service is EXTREMELY GOOD. You must have the murg malai tikka, murg tikka makhani, mutton galotti kabab & paratha. It was absolutely delicious and finger licking good. The owner is a very polite gentleman. Value for money!!!❤️

The amount of chicken in the murgh tawa egg roll is very low. That was disappointing.

Good place, must try for non veg kebabs with parantha
Owned by a navy couple it's a thought full attempt to get good kebabs to bombayites #matchesmynorthindianpallet#mixofdelhiandlucknowicusine#
We visit this place almost every fortnight cause the food has got us hooked! Rachit

Place - 5/5 - location is very easy to find. Parking may be a challenge but hell yeah! It's Bombay

Seating - 3/5 - a bit uncomfortable. Something better could be done in terms of comfortable seating, eg: using the walls to suspend tables and make a low seating area

Food - 4/5 - we have eaten kebabs at legendary places of Bombay but the don't seem to match the awadhi taste. KG has done Justice to it and we'll say 70% of the taste N texture matches that of Lucknow. We eat Biryani's, galawati kebabs with parantha and rolls mostly. The Biryani's are not the Lucknow taste (Idris or Tunday). They spices and texture matches match more of Delhi and Mumbai
Where we see potential to improve. Rolls are unique and have their own texture and flavor.

Service 3.5/5 - this is a real mood killer at KG. You need to keep asking for essential basic side stuff like water, lemon, onions multiple times. Here again I should use the wall example- for water n cold drinks wall stands can be used to hold the bottles and make space on the table. Potential to improve

Price 3.5/5 - I'd say a few more options could be added. Mutton biryani is never available. Given the food I'm happy that they have improved tremendously and should maintain it. Combos can be designed to curb prices.... although it's more to do with SoBo rentals we think!!

Found this place through Zomato.

Wow! Where do I even begin!!! Big things, come in small packages! Its a really small place (3 tables for 2 people each) but packs a huge punch, in terms of ridiculously amazing food!

After having visited (and ordered home delivery from) this place atleast 25 times, I feel more at home, just talking about it.

What I've tasted:

Mutton Galouti Kebab: By far, the best in Mumbai. 4 Soft, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of Kebab, served in a plate, along with Onions and Chutney.

Chicken Tangdi Kebab: 2 Leg Pieces, served in a Cream gravy. Oh my gaaaaad!

Roomali Roti/Paratha: I prefer the Paratha, over the Roomali. Both are fabulous though.

Chicken Tikka Makhni: This, my friends, is GOLD! The best dish at this place, with chicken chunks served in a red cream gravy. Team it with a Paratha, for multiple foodgasms!

Murgh Tikka Biryani: Although a little dry, this is phenomenal in taste, due to the amazing Chicken Tikka pieces!

I'd recommend to visit this place late evening, and have a casual conversation with the owner, Rahul.

Find more on Instagram @the.raastekabhukkad

A friend told us about this place and we decided to check it out. Its a small joint around the corner of radio club in colaba area...we could already smell the kebabs from a distance. We ordered....
1.Murgh galawati kebab
2.Murgh malai tikka roll
3.Roomali roti

The USP of this place is hands down the murgh galawati kebab with such distinct and rich flavours and the very finely minced chicken.
.
.
The malai tikka roll was super juicy and was definitely full of malai plus this is the only place we've been to that sells roomali roti for just 20 bucks.
.
.
Rahul, the owner of the joint was kind enough to treat us with a complimentary biryani and we are so glad he did!!! The biryani is a plethora of flavours and spices just giving a treat to the taste buds. Rahul rightly said you have to pour your heart out when cooking biryani..well...we are surely gonna keep going back for the amazing food. Thank you for serving us Kebab Gunj

Small, well organised eatery just beside radio club. Had chicken tikka makhani- great taste.....
It seems like a non-veg point; veggies may get bit disappointed. Pricing is reasonable.

Kebab Gunj: situated in a tiny little nook of Colaba serving North Indian food at pocket friendly prices. We ordered
1. The tandoori chicken: the tandoori was nice for the price but you could tell it was half finished on the frying pan rather than completely done on the tandoor.

2. Mutton seekh kebab: the star dish of the meal the mutton was tender juicy and well seasoned.

3. Chicken Qurma: the chefs special unfortunately was not so special generally korma is always boneless but here it was served on the bone which we don’t mind as meat on the bone generally tends to have more flavour but instead of having the rich korma texture the gravy fell flat and only tastes of onions.
The roomali roti and paratha were nice accompaniments.

All in all kebab gunj will only gunj for its kebabs but their mains need work for them to gunj as loudly.

It is a small cozy place at colaba. The ambience has nothing much to offer but the food is really good. They serve authentic north Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price. The service is quick and the staff is courteous .

Food is good. Place is very short to visit with group. Suggest to order food for home delivery if want to enjoy the food with group. Staff is very polite and friendly. Serving was not up to the mark, I have order chicken tandoori which was serve in a proper place but the next order mutton seek kabab roll was served in a paper plate. Quit dissatisfied. Though food was good.

Had some Veg, Mutton Geloti the minced veg (aarbhi) melted in the mouth, so did the Mutton. And the succulent chicken tikka’s definitely a place to try.

Ok so this place was a complete surprise
While roaming the roads of Colaba found this place
Ambience: small place with 3 tables but best arranged
Service: very good
Food: the best kebabs
They have wraps which are delicious too
Also they have some special kebabs served only with rotis of choice!
A must try

The Murgh Makhani Tikka is really delicious. A must have if you'll order from this restaurant. Very quick delivery and absolutely professional. Thank you to the owner who was very nice and approachable. The murgh Malai is another must try. I will recommend this to many friends. Shall try the biryani next time.

Being from Lucknow, I always craved for good mughlai food. Alas, my cravings and the never dying hunger was satisfied.
Tried their galawati kebabs and paratha. Really just threw me back to the lanes of Aminabad.
The korma wasn’t the same taste as how it should be, but whatever it was, was amazing.
Next was the biryani, and it was best I had in Mumbai.
I visit the outlet often for the feed and the feels.

This is by far the best place in Mumbai for kababs. Its a very small place with a maximum seating of 8-10 people. The galawati kababs they serve come very close to the Tunday kabab from Lucknow. The seekh kababs are great and so are the murg malai tikka. You can feel the Lucknawi amiability and 'tehzeeb' if you ever get a chance to talk to the owners of this place. This is one place that should be one a person's list if he/she misses authentic kababs in Mumbai

The food was amazing! The Mutton Galouti kebab was a total melt in the mouth! And the Chicken kebab was so flavourful! Abdolutely loved it!

Its n aswm place for nawabi food lovers Its not flattery when they claim that they serve the best Mutton Gulahati kababs. The kababs wereso soft n tender even the meat was tender n was n experience in itself. Thn the other star dish was murg malai kababs over all unforgettable experience amazing food I would highly recommend to all roaming around Taj n gate way they wont get disappointed ... i would have given 5?stars but the service was not as per the expectations as in that small place we were the only 4 of us but the food was grt so that is forgotten

Ordered the Galaoti Kababs and the Murg Malai Tikka Roll.
The Galaoti Kababs were tasty but the Chicken in the Murg Malai Tikka Roll was under cooked and some bits were raw.

Ordered parcel food , it was leaking , called for a butter chicken biryani however rice (low quality) and butter chicken were separate !! Butter chicken was overtly sweet , since they have limited seating hence the parcel ordered , disappointing !!

Kebab gunj claims to serve authentic Delhi food. This is a small delivery outlet in Colaba. There's limited seating. The whole place seemed a bit too congested. They've made the ambience decent for the space they have though. Service was quick.

Now coming to the food, we tried the veg galouti kebab and chicken masala biriyani. The biriyani was decent. I can't comment on the authenticity since I've never had authentic Delhi biriyani. The taste was nevertheless decent. The chicken pieces were succulent. The veg galouti kebab was a disappointment though. They tried to make a beef version of the legendary galouti kebab and failed. Galouti kebab is supposed to be melt in the mouth. This was melt in the mouth indeed but tasted weird. I could taste Arbi and besan. They really need to work on the taste of this one.

Overall, this might be a good place for delivery. But the dine in space is very less.
