After my visit to siddhivinayak temple, I went to Shree Siddhivinayak refreshments restaurant. The place was really nice. I ordered onion tomato uttapam. The sambhar was really well made. I absolutely enjoyed uttapam.
Situated at the entrance of Siddhivinayak Temple complex serving South Indian and North Indian dishes which are pocket friendly. Had Rava Masala Dosa, Paneer tikka masala with Naan and Sada dosa. Nice place to go with family and friends after seeking the blessings of Ganesha.
Budget food joint good for snacks in the Siddhivinayak temple premises at Prabhadevi. We ordered Uttappa, Idli and Modak. Food was good. The place being near the temple is always crowded but the service is quite fast.

This is a go to place after you are done with your darshan. The hotel is situated inside the mandir premises and is always full of devotees. Loved the chole samosa and chole bhature apart from its famed southindian cuisine. Try modaks too.
I was craving for sweet tooth. So I tried out their Gulab Jamun. They were just awesome, delicious. It located just outside Siddhivinayak Mandir. A great place to have veg refreshments.
This is a very famous place inside siddhivinayak temple complex, just beside the temple. This is a pure vej restaurant with a big area. So we had -
✅ Special Bombay Masala dosa (it was sliced, good in taste, inside stuff made with potato, capsicum, onion, tomato etc)
✅ Paneer masala dosa (whole dosa came up with a paneer layer along with the dosa base, inside stuff was Bombay maasala dhosa )
⬛ All dosa had a normal sambar and a coconut chutney
✅ Vada Pav ( served with vada, pav, green chutney and with a spicy masala separately)
✅ Chocolate modak
✅ Semolina modak
I miss this kind of Vada Pav in kolkata.
It was a very nice place to visit. Hope to visit this place someday soon.
-- THANK YOU --
Awesome place..quick service and the dosa's are really as authentic as it can get at a reasonable price. The sambhar is good too
Worth trying it
Good clean restaurant right next to the Great Siddhivinayak Mandir, Prabhadevi. The service is super fast and the staff is also very active and polite. Food is also good. It's a pure South Indian veg restaurant. The only problem here is there is no AC and can get extremely hot during the day.
Visited Siddhivinayak Mandir at 630 in the morning and had breakfast here post Darshan. Good place for an early morning breakfast. The staff is quick in their service. The food quality is good and well worth the cost and the place is very hygienic. Had a plate of Medu vada with sambar, sabudana vada and cup of filter coffee! Enjoyed!
We ate udipi bun and medu wada just after visiting siddhivinayak temple. Experience was good. Service is fast. Mainly food is tasty. Perfect for breakfast
After visiting shree siddhivinayak Temple I got so many blessings from load Sri Ganesh God. And after that I was so damn hungry and I found interesting name of the restaurant Shree siddhivinayak Refreshments I deside to visit. Oder for lassie and sandwiches. As intresting name of the restaurant The food and snack was so interesting and full of taste.
5💥 for help full so old trusted Staffing. (so much of rush crowd still they will attend you with quick speedy service) 💯% of attention on you.
5💥 for ambiance as per location and locality.
5💥Food snack hot served quick quantity quality Food.
Must visit place when you go for must visit temple in Mumbai Siddhivinayak Temple🙏ganpati bappa morya
Went here for the first time as usually we tend to go outside the temple premises. The look and feel of this Pure Veg restaurant is like that of a restaurant serving everything under the Sun. I mean the ambience was wonderful - With dim lights, it gives a very peaceful feel and relaxing experience.
As you can see in the pictures , we ordered Masala Dosa, Misal Pav, Sabudana Vada, Chole Bhature and coffee.
The food was good specially the chola that tasted different , the Sabudana vada served with sweetened curd, the coffee was really refreshinga nd definitely the Misal Pav - that's a must try!!
The servers are the usual servers that you fond at any dhaba - they take your order and deliver it! Thats it! In a way, this was good as sometimes staff who keeps asking - how's the food or keeps refilling water glasses - tends to become more of a disturbance and a hindrance when people just want to have their own conversations.
After Darshan, you must visit this place!
Fulfill your tastebuds after your darshan is done.
TRY THE GRILLED VEG CHEESE SANDWICH !!!!!!
(The picture with the large bread)
It takes a while ; REALLY long while but it is so worth it.
Their lassi and vada sambhar are one of our favorites.
Service is horrendous; some of the staff are pure rude.
I got a chance to visit the restaurant right after attending morning aarti at Siddhivinayak temple. The restaurant opens early in the morning around 6:45 a.m and offers multiple options in the morning and all the things that we ordered were delicious.
We ordered vada, idli, upma and tea and everything was just perfect.
One of the best places for sabudana Wada. Services are quick . Don’t expect the staff to wear a smile as they all are too busy serving their guests. One more important note: wasting food is not what they like . So please don’t over estimate your hunger when placing an order. You always have an option of calling in for more if you are a bit more hungry .
Food 4/5
Service 4.5/5
Ambience 3.5/5
After ganpati darshan, if u want to fulfill your taste buds then you can definetly without giving a second thought go visit and eat at this restaurant.
I have tried almost everything so far, From idli dipped in sambar to dal tadka. Every dish is fresh and tastes really well.
This hotel has a variety of fasting food items
We ordered the following items :
Sabudana Wada
Bombay Biryani
Thali Peeth
Kachori
The Thali Peeth was amazing.
Worth trying.
Bombay Biryani was something unique as seen in the picture mentioned with this review. It was tasty.
Sabudana Wada was Good.
Recommended :
Thali Peeth &
Bombay Biryani
Next to siddhivinayak temple .
Food quality is amazing services is good .
Dosas and utappa are recommended even sabudana wada.
Prices are very competitive .
Nice place... quick service
My order list :
Sweet lime juice : 3 / 5 ( unique was it had elachi flavour )
Medu vada : 3 / 5
Mysore Masala Dosa : 3 / 5
Pocket friendly... :)
Located right next to Sidhi Vinayak temple, this place has an amazing locational advantage.
I thought I will have a small "tuck-in" during my morning walk and sauntered into this restaurant. It has the look of an efficient mid market restaurant, with tables and chairs arranged for a quick service. I sat on a a sofa and unfortunately it was torn at the edges. It requires a small effort to fix it!
I ordered Idlis (Rice dumplings) with Smabhar and Chutney. The service was super efficient. 3 portions of Idlis came dunked in the sambhar, served steaming hot. Amazing!
The steamed idlis were well made and soft. The samba he was tasty, but not tangy enough -- wee bit sweeter than needed. It was a hearty snack for ₹ 45 ( less than one USD).
Always going here when ever I go to Siddhivinayak temple for Bappa Darshana in the morning.
After that for Breakfast I always go here and eat wada sambar they are best in making this dish!!!
Good to go. Ambience is good but service is too bad. Quality of the food is good and tasty. Order was served in very less time. Affordable not too costly...
It was my second visit here. Must visit this place when you will go to Siddhivinayak temple and it's a veg Restaurant . it's clean and hygiene also. The service is very quick, staffs are ready to help everytime but onething is missing their, that's staffs smilling. Food was nice. We had lasooni paneer, mushroom masala, veg kolhapuri, dal tadka , dal makhani and rice and chapattis . Everything was great but in lasooni paneer we didn't feel any lasooni flavour from this, but taste was good and this time Dal Makhani little good than previous one. Any way food was nice. Thanks to chef and waiters.

I travelled with my friends for visit Siddhivinayak Temple, after visit the temple we went for had dinner in siddhivinayak veg restaurant.service is very quick but needs little improvement in small things, food taste was good but dal makhani was not good in taste and looks also. Overall it's needs little improvement.
This place is a must after every visit to Siddhivinayak Temple. Its clean and hygenic, the service is quick and food is great too.
I would suggest sticking to the Udipi menu and snacks unless very hungry. As they would be brought to your table sooner and the taste is on point every time.
Veg Cutlets here are must have. Just like an ideal veg cutlet is supposed to be. Crispy breadcrumb coating on the outside and spicy flavorful vegetable mash on the inside. We have tried multiple dosas and uttapams at different visits and all did satisfy our taste buds as well as our tummies. A complete value for money place with old world charm.
We had Breakfast here all dishes are good.
Sambhar also taste good and we recommend this place for Breakfast. For Breakfast it's more
Than value for money.
This is a good place to try common items from the Indian cuisine. They have the best idli sambar. The misal pav here is mind blowing. You get total satisfaction for the amount you pay.
The ambience is good considering the location.
The only problem is that sometimes you have to share tables with strangers.

This is one of the best refreshments joints in prabhadevi. Right next to siddhivinayak temple. Missal pav and sheera is one of the best eating items in the menu. Quick service delicious food is what u get here. Must go when u visit shree siddhivinayak temple.
I usually eat Chole samosa and Ukdiche modak here. They are my favourite and I love what they serve here. Chole samosa is different and really good. And south indian dishes are good too.
While coming back from darshan, this place is good for a breakfast. We had ordered dahi misal, aloo puri and kokam juices. The food was very delicious. The puris were made of refined flour and were mini replicas of bhaturas. Kokam was fabulous. I had my first ever dahi misal here and I enjoyed it.
I just didn't like the quality of drinking water and there was not a sufficient provision to counter the scorching heat.
Early morning bappa's darshan fulfills all the wishes and if you get a yummy breakfast after that then it's icing on the cake. This restaurant is located inside the Siddhivinayak temple premises and most of the time is crowded only. So here are my ratings out of 5: onion tomato utthappam -4.5, dahi vada-3.9, misal pav-4, filter coffee-4.5 ( u get sugarless tea and coffee) , cleanliness-4.5, service -4.5. Yes I am definitely going again and will recommend to others too.
Quick service and good option to grab a quick bite. Ordered cholle bhature and buttermilk. The bhaturas were sadly, really oily. The plate was evident with the layer of oil. The buttermilk had a pungent taste, which really didn't go great with my companions. The cholle was yummy, but everything was a tad bit pricey for refreshments .
Great food. Great place quick service. And an absolute value for money. They also have a wide variety of sweet items. Every bit worth the money you pay.
After beautiful darshans at Siddhivinayak temple went outside to this hotel for some refreshments. Had the onion uttapa here along with medu wada and cheese rava masala dosa. It was served with sambar and coconut chutney. I liked the sambar and i'm very choosy when it comes to the traditional taste of sambar and here it was good enough. Chutney was fresh. The cheese rava masala was crispy with a little taste of cumin. Medu wada was also good with coarse texture of lentil. Fast service with running crowd. Also, never forget to have the ukadiche modak when you come here. They are just too awesome. They are the King of modaks. Decently priced.
Been here many times I go there when ever I come to siddhivinayak mandir . Their mendu vada , misal pav , patato vada , are awesome . It is a pocket friendly restaurant . They serve you fresh food . Their service is fast . Sometimes there is soo much rush there . But you get place to sit there . You should go once and try it .
Good food. I love their Sada Dosa and Tea!!! Yummy...
Service is fast. Place is nice and clean. The thing that bothered me is that they don't accept debit/credit cards. Common in today's times that facility needs to be provided to the customers. That's why 3.5/5.

Good food. Unmatched location. Loved their Misal Pav and Kokem Sherbet. If visiting the Siddhivinayak mandir give this a shot. It might not be able to match the Bhajis and Samosas you get in the restaurant in the Mahalaxmi temple, but it is still very good.
Shree SiddhiVinayak Refreshments, which is a Pure veg Joint adjoining the Iconic Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi. Almost all people who come there for Darshan go here for snacks and meals. It is a highly crowded and popular joint for all Veg food lovers here. Over the years, the focus of the restaurant shifted from being a simple refreshment Joint to a multi cuisine restaurant. It serves some authentic and awesome South Indian snacks and will remain the number one choice of people coming to the temple simply because of the proximity. The restaurant welcomes you from 7am to 12 midnight.
This place is located inside Siddhivinayak temple.
We tried South Indian dishes here - Bombay masala dosa, Mysore dosa, schezwan idli..
The food was okay and quite reasonable
One must try this place after visiting the temple.
This restaurant was earlier in the vicinity of the temple. But after the temple premises have been expanded and the security cordon come in, Shree Siddhivinayak Refreshments has become a part of the temple complex. The name too is similar and in years to come, it might become the official restaurant of the temple!
For regular visitors to the temple, it has become a routine to have a meal at this place. Hence it is crowded most of the times. Service is fast and there is a constant movement of people in and out. The place is very small and congested so you might get bumping into each other, but most of the customers don't mind.
There is no scope of parking and this place is best visited on foot and reach there in an taxi is best option.
Food is strictly OK. There is nothing nice or not nice. Whatever comes out of the kitchen, mostly is good. There is a range of sweets available too. Another specialty of this place is the availability of Ukadi Modak, which are really delicious. Prices are reasonable and you can have a nice meal without burning a hole on your pocket.
After siddhivinayak darshan, one should must visit this place for petpuja.Tried idli burger and misal. Fried idli with big tikki and vegetables. It was great combination and tasted delicious. Misal was quite different , there was no usual matki, they used vatana.Liked the change in misal. Modak was good too.
Every time there is a Siddhivinayak temple darshan, there is bound to be a stop here. Be it early morning, late afternoon or evening. For breakfast I would suggest going for their idli vada sambar and a nimbu pani. Best combo. The best thing about their nimbu pani is that it has a hint of ginger in it that's refreshing. For lunch, even if there is a huge crowd waiting outside, they always manage to ensure you don't wait too long. Even during peak rush times, their service is quick. Their naan and kulcha was quite soft and the veg kolhapuri just had the right spice. Their lassi was also nice, just the right thickness. Only I felt their boondi raita was overpriced for the quantity. Best place to stop for after the mandatory darshan. Check in 👍
The closing time is 9:30 or 10 p.m which is wrongly mentioned till 12 midnight...
Pretty decent place & common kind of menu items listed.. Place is clean & the staff is courteous :)
a quick joint to visit for sure \m/
This one is a small quick snacks center next to the Siddhivinayak temple. We ordered batata vada, veg cutlet and Mysore dosa. All the three food items were cooked using very less oil but did not compromise on the taste. The taste and quality was top notch. The ambience is decent. The seats were a bit cramped up as the restaurant is fairly small. The service was quick. One good thing is the price rates for all the food items are quite low for the quality of food offered.
Taste: 8.5/10
Ambience: 6.5/10

I will rate dis place a full 5 star
Located in the premises of siddhivinayak temple at dadar
Dese place gives u a immense relaxation feeling
I wud say it is second uddipi resto in terms of food quality
I had visited dis resto with my mum for the first time when we visited dese temple
We had ordered idli , masala dosa , sabudana Wada, medu Wada n rawa dosa
Everything was just yum N specially chutney n Sambhar
Also try their pizza uttapam
It's just lovely
we really felt refreshed as we were tired standing since morning in queue for darshan
Feels like visiting dese place again n again
Will soon go
Must visit guys
We wanted to have something quick after a glorious darshan at the famed Siddhivinayak temple so we decided for this place since it looked clean and was pretty much adjacent to the temple. We wanted to eat local so we ended up with Misal Pav and buttermilk. Considering the crowd, the food arrived pretty quick. It was tasty to say the least. We had our fill. I wanted to sample genuine modak as well and this place had it. That was a bonus. I know it's a hit with the locals and why not.
One of the fastest service in town !! Most of the snacks come to your table within 5 mins ! Misal Pav is one of the best here ! Also try the chole bhature which is quite tasty. Gets crowded in weekends. Reducing the rating because of increased cost otherwise a nice place to eat. Not too much value for money now
Very nice food. Nice servicing nad quality and quantity is also nice. If money is not matter then go for it guys. You'll have great experience.

Not only while visiting the temple, I would recommend going to this place even when you are in this area, specially around breakfast time. It has an upper hand over much hyped and overrated joints like Madras Cafe in Matunga. I have been here numerous times and never returned unsatisfied. Best ones are Upma, Thalipeeth, Mysore Sada dosa. Uttapam isnt disappointing at all as well.
Only downside would be the ventilation. The fact that it doesnt have A/C has been mentioned in earlier reviews. It does tend to get hot inside specially in summers. Other than that this place is an absolute must go.
Note: Wont say the same for the sweets though. Also, if you wish to complete your breakfast with an awsome desi tea, try out a small tea joint just beside Vijay Sales opposite to the temple. Follow this link to my blog to know exact location of this tea joint.

The only best place to visit after darshan literally 😃 almost full all the time ... food is nice... best for quickbites... acknowledging the continuity of crowds their service is quicker too... you can even get sweets and farsan here.. they even have ukadichi modak and puranpoli 😆😛
Edit: the sheera we ordered was tasting nothing sweet but sour (stale) even the Puri weren't fried properly
Hi
Best place to eat after the darshan of lord Ganesha.
IMO there is absolutely no point in going back home when a home cooked *like* food is available to be savored.
I have tried range of dishes here right from South Indian delicacies to tea, coffee, modak, sweets, parathas, kulchas, veggies and dal fry.
As mentioned, the food is extremely simple and very delicious.
I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who visits the temple.
The bit where I feel the scope of improvement has surely to do with having an AC section and also the quantity of the food going up.
Thanks!
I have been visiting this place since ages n always loved the food here...quite reasonable prices n taste's good. This place is a must try after bappa's darshan :)
This restaurant is inside the temple premises and u don't have to bother about looking for a place to eat after u have taken blessings from Ganpati Bappa. It has some nice south Indian food and good lassi.A clean and nice looking vegetarian restaurant.
Only think lacking is the air conditioning facility.
Close to the Shiddivinayak temple gate.. After pooja I always prefer to eat here rather than waiting to get back home and waiting for the breakfast.. The best part about this place is the taste has been the same for past many years.. Nothing has deteriorated.. Typical restaurant look but cleaner than the roadsides.. But the thing I crave for is to taste more things in its menu other than medu vada , upma ( my favourite item in their menu ) & idli.. Other things take time for preparation n we leave early.. Hopefully next time I'll get to try ..

Not exactly a fan of an all veg place but on a friend's recommendation tried this place out inside the Siddhivinayak temple and i liked it. Fast service, very decent food, good crowd and normal prices. Pretty much sums it up. Tried the chola bhature, bhature was nice but the chola masala was not. Rava Dosa was good. Just a small tip, get sweets from outside stores. They tasted better than the ones this place has.
A decent place with equally cooperative staff. It's close proximity to the temple makes it a great option. Not to mention the simple yet tasty dishes at nominal rates. Loved the Vada Usal. Plus the super fast service makes you visit the place more often.
This is inside siddhivinayak temple premise. You have to try the boiled modak... Such s homely taste.. Filled with Jaggery and coconut.. Melts in mouth instantly.Only Rs 20 per piece.
Missal pav, sabudana vada both were good but the star is the ' burger idli'...I've never heard of it anywhere else... The burger buns were replaced by crispy crust idli... Too innovative and pleasing on taste buds.
And its pocket friendly. This place will definitely make me visit siddhivinayak temple more often :P
Loved their misal paav, and proximity to the temple ensures a great option for breakfast after the morning darshan! Location is their biggest plus!
Budget restaurent and good south indian snacks.
Restaurent at right spot, visit temple and can have food at same campus
Not an extra ordinary but can take bite if primary purpose is to visit siddhivinayak temple.
My first time order for home delivery. We ordered 1 aloo paratha and 1 gobhi paratha and all it cost was 210. The delivery was very quick. Do keep in mind 1 paratha is enough for 1 person and pretty heavy too with dal and raitha and achaar accompanying.
Aloo paratha was good while gobhi paratha was a bit disappointing. But all in all a satisfactory experience.
Went to Siddhivinayak temple with friends and after the visit we were searching for a good hotel nearby. Then we found this place just adjacent to the temple!!! We liked chole bhature and rava dosa. We also ordered lassi which was too good. Would definitely like to visit again!!!

This one is gonna be a quick, short review. Had gone to the Siddhivinayak temple with my grand mom. After the visit to the temple, both of us were a little hungry and we came to this decades old place right inside the premises of the Siddhivinayak temple. Have been here quite many times previously as well.
A typical udipi style restaurant - this place is obviously chaotic. A couple of dozens of waiters running here and there taking orders at the table and instantly informing the kitchen in their signature loud tone. "Idli wada sambar daalke" × 2. They wanna get rid of customers ASAP. So super speedy service.
We called for an Idli wada (sambar alag as they say), Dahi Misal Pav and Batata Wada. The idli and wada were as per the standards. Nothing different. Sambar was okayish and avoidable. It lacked tamarind and was a little bland too. The coconut chutney had crushed green chillies making it a bit spicy for a normal man's comfort.
The dahi misal pav was nice. Regular misal pulses in that tasty watery gravy topped with a handful of namkeen to give it the crunch and a lot of curd atop all of this. Really liked it.
The batata wada was the best of the lot. Flat decent sized batata wadas served with coconut chutney and red powder chutney made up of garlic and red chillies. The batata wadas were garlicky and tasted really nice. Traditional maharashtrian stuff.
This meal for two was worth Rs.150. I have had some snacks at other eatries right outside Siddhivinayak premises too. But I like this one in particular.

Final Word: If you are visiting the temple and hunger strikes, this is the place to go rather than the ones outside the temple premises. No special visit needs to be made.
This is another place for delicious breakfast dishes located inside siddhivinayak temple premises!
I like lassi, mendu vada sambhar and rasgulla to have here!
Its a small restaurant in d siddhivinayak temple premises. Evrytime we go to the temple we go to this place. Its good 4 a light snack after d darshan. As v dont eat anything before going to temple.???? v had a misal pav n masala dosa. Misal pav was good perfect spicy n masala dosa ws huge bt there ws more cheese than masala in it. But over all good n hygienic with a nice n homely ambience n very affordable. So next time you go to siddhivinayak temple dont forget to visit this place????
After 20 years of visiting the Temple, finally noticed this place and tried its fare. Stuck to safe, standard items.
Idlis were good and soft. Coconut chutney little watery but passable. Sambhar not sweet, which is a positive.
Masala chhaas needs to improve, it was too tangy, at 9 am. Masala dosa looks huge but masala quantity is reasonable so it works out fine. Nice and crisp crust, tasty masala.
Coffee (filter) was a serious disappointment , just not enough coffee in it (we had to move on so couldn't ask them to repair it).
Incidentally, (a) today was super lucky day, there was no crowd at either temple or eatery. (B) there are interesting quotations handwritten on 2 whiteboards inside, tongue in cheek (today) about politics and politicians. Looks like they change regularly, watch out for them when you visit next!
Located right next to the temple entry, this one caters to the neverending horde of devotees who visit the temple, In addition to the usual udipi and marathi fare of snacks, which are good, the most amazing items are the famous marathi desserts modak and kharvas. The piping hot modaks served here with a dollop of ghee are to die for.
Jay Ganesh.. As this place is so much near to temple rush of people is higher but the service is good. Food is tasty and rates are fair enough. From @aktastemebest
This is one of the fav eat-out option when visiting Siddhivinayak. Food is indeed awesome but the highlight is polite & enthusiastic acceptance of prefertenial requests and customizing the order accordingly.
Had gone to Siddhivanayak Temple & i have been buying steamed modaks from there for years.. this year at Rs.20/pc. Later after d temple visit had idli sambhar n coffee. Good food at reasonable price.
I have been too this restaurant many times as it is just outside the siddhivinayak temple. Its a nice restaurant with good staff n neat place. I have tried most of their stuff like idli dosas. All r good, this time I went for misal n I was a bit disappointed as it was not upto the mark n also it cost 53 rs which is too high for a misal pav. But nice restaurant overall..
It's absolutely worth d price. Quantity is sufficient as well...Home delivery is also very quick. Overall great experience.
This is again close to my home inside temple gate , its a very old refreshments hotel, I know it for a long time when it was just a uddipi hotel , it now serves many breakfast items , also sells sweets and at times u would get boild home made modaks . I love everything of this hotel and would always love to have my south indian breakfast here,, its nothing about food authenticity but the taste that I prefer for years now.
Good wholesome south indian + maharashtrian nashta place. After bappa ji darshan we headed here for breakfast. The misal pav was good. Especially the curry that comes with it ensuring it doesn't get dry quickly as they add potato to their misal. The toast butter jam was good the bread was thick and tasty. Sada dosa and idli sambhar chutney was usual stuff. Thali pith was tasty n crunchy n slightly oily. They sell nice farsaan like sabudana chivda, soya chips which r really tasty n less oily. Service was slow.
Always crowded.
Attached to the temple.
Nice atmosphere to eat.
Very reasonable prices.
You get different kinds of modaks out there. Please try them they are awesome... The best I would recommend is ukdi-modak... Which is a boiled modak- looks white colored from outside.. Full of coconut and sweet stuff... It melts when put in mouth.. Just full of awesomeness.. Must have...
Overall... Thumbs up! Bingo.. Get in!
Located inside the premises of mandir..its always crowded.. So never took pains to visit then place for a long time. Then inhappend to visit the mandir early morning n the place was empty.Ambience is good.staff is friendly n prompt. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good too. Do try out modak, dosas and misal pav.along with lassi. These are quite good.
I might be a creature of habit here, but this is really my most recommended udipi joint in the whole western & southern parts of Mumbai. I've been coming here a long time, say over 5 years, and I was really sad when they shut down for the renovation. But now they are back for good i hope since a while. I've only had sunday breakfasts here for a long time.
As an udipi joint, they have been around serving all the usual marathi and south indian wares for the longest time. The Dosas are nice, the vadas are good, and the idli is soft just like it should be. The tea - i don't like the new steel cups they are using, i think the old glasses would do just fine.
My favourite part of the menu here is the Misal Pav. The way its made, its just perfect. From being brought up in Delhi and a guy who loves Choley Bhature, I turned into a lover of Misal Pav once I had it here, and I've tried a lot many more udipi places after for a better Misal Pav, but this one remains top favourite. Here is what makes it so: The pav is always fresh and soft, the misal comes with a very nice farsan topping, and the best part is that the usal used is just about the right flavour (not too hot & spicy). Others can put too much oil, too much chilli powder or what not, but for my palate, this one is the right one.
Try it out, and I hope you like it as much as I do.
The best quality food at most reasonable price. Service is too good. A must visit place if you are visiting siddi Vinayaka temple.
This vegetarian restaurant is located next to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi. It is a popular place for people who visit the temple, offering a wide selection of snacks and meals. The restaurant is often busy, attracting many vegetarian food lovers. Their menu features a variety of tasty South Indian snacks, making it a top choice for temple visitors because of its convenient location.
Pure veg joint adjoining the Iconic Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi. Almost all people who come there for darshan go here for snacks and meals. It is a highly crowded and popular joint for all veg food lovers here. It serves some authentic and awesome South Indian snacks and will remain the number one choice of people coming to the temple simply because of the proximity. The restaurant is open from 7am to 12 midnight. The seating and spacing is a bit tight and one has to adjust in order to accommodate. Families, couples and individuals all come here and sit together when there is seat scarcity. Overall the decor is appealing even though being simple. A lot of attention needs to be given to cleanliness since it’s a fast paced running joint.
Delicious food served here and farali food are so awesome.must try south Indian foods and refreshments like Tea and coffee.
Pure vegetarian restaurant. Variety of options available.
Food is tasty and hygienic
Located right beside Shree Sidhhivinayak temple, a perfect place for pet pooja after Vinayak pooja 😁
Atmosphere is good, so is the service.
We had poori bhaji, shrikhand poori, modak and tea. Everything was apt and super tasty.
They also have varieties of sweets and tempting to be tasted.
Vinayak refreshments pure veg restaurant
I visited here with my family.
This restaurant's entrance is from inside the Siddhivinayak Temple at Dadar, Mumbai.
The staff is warm and welcoming. We asked them to suggest their best snack dishes. They suggested idli wada and medu wada sambar, dosa, paav bhaji, dahi wada and many more.
What we ordered and our ratings
Dahi wada: 5/5
Pav bhaji: 4/5
Dahi wada was sooo good that we ordered it again. The curd was fresh and the chutney and masala that they used in it just added up to the taste. Pav bhaji was good as well but it could have been a little bit more tangy and spicy.
The staff was kind enough to help us click a family photo.
Great place to have food near siddhivinayak temple.vegetarian only food at it’s best
Tomato onion uttapa was awesome and filling. Filter coffee and kadak chai to wrap up breakfast after darshan.
We tasted delicious ‘Ukadiche Modak’ dipped in pure ghee! Priced around 40/- per piece, these are amongst some must-try food items in Mumbai. Follow @pricepointstories on youtube for food trips, road trips and everything in between.
