Review Little Italy Restaurant - Mumbai

Parina Gada
I recently visited this 27 year old pure vegetarian Italian restaurant in Juhu which is none other than Little Italy. It is Mumbai's one of the most aesthetically delightful eatery. This spread of delectable dishes was flavoursome and everything was cooked to perfection. Their mocktails are unique, visually appealing and refreshing! The staff was amazing and very cooperative. I tried: - Zuppa di broccoli almond soupšŸ„£ - Insalata gennarino saladšŸ„— - Special tacos šŸŒ® - Cheese corn balls - Mellino pizza šŸ• - Pesto exotica pizza šŸ• - Crespelle - Pasta al sole di sicilia šŸ - Garden galata mocktail šŸ¹ - Pondicherry punch mocktail šŸ¹ - Fusion berry mocktail šŸ¹ - Lotus biscoff cheesecake šŸ„§ - Ferrero rocher cheesecake šŸ„§ - Red velvet cake šŸ° - Rose pistachio cake šŸ° Do visit with your family and friends

The place is very authentic and has an aesthetic set up. there's a lot of options in drinks, starters, main course and desserts. the staff is quick and friendly. It has been one of my favourite place for Italian food. The taste, service and ambience just top notch. So this time we tried Lasagne - This was cooked to perfection, had a kick of spice and was tangy too. And the texture was just perfect o sauce. For mains we had the pesto chicken pizza and spinach mascarpone cheese sauce pasta. The pizza was very good and crust was thin and crunchy. Pasta was our favourite. It had the perfect cheesy texture and taste. For desert we had the tiramisu which was just too good. Not too heavy on the palate and balanced flavours. Overall we were very satisfied with the experience.

The pizza here lives upto the expectations, do not try something different, stick to the basics. Wonderful recommendations were provided on drinks as well. All in all a good place for a family dinner once in a while. Very expensive though. Pardon the bad photos.

The food and its quality is great at Little Italy. Itā€™s a perfect place to go out with family and enjoy a delicious meal . The spinach Ricotta in pink sauce is a must order. The mock tails are very refreshing .Spring rolls were yum. Also the location is prime.

Food good Ambience good Service okayish Overall good We had fondue with garlic bread. And humus with pita. Main course: frusseli with sun dried tomatoes and cherries You can hop into any Little Italy joint if you are a vegetarian looking for authentic Italian food. Kindly note: they charge 10 percent service charges

Had a good lunch here at Little Italy and the food is still amazing after all these years. We ordered a mix of bruschetta, pizzas, pasta and risotto. The pizzas were decent and toppings had Indian flavors. The pasta, although flavorful, had too much sauce making it like a gravy dish with no veggies. The risotto was amazing and highly recommended. The only dish that disappointed was the garlic bread, which was cheese served on a huge bun. Service was decent, but had to bring to the staffs attention that they charged us a 10% service charge without consulting with us. They later obliged and delete it. There was some renovations going on in the adjacent room making the place very noisy and the toilets were very dirty. That really dampened the atmosphere.

While the food is nice the service is so-so. The waiter (black shirt) who suggested orders was nice. The manager (in a green shirt) who came up and interrupted us as soon as we had our last bite, and were still deep in a conversation, if we were done, if we wanted dessert, and once dessert was done (as soon as we had the last bite) if we then wanted anything else, was a bit pushy and frankly unwelcome. I have no desire to hog your table. I too have places to be. But give people a few minutes before suggesting they get a move on. And when you do ask them if they'd like anything else, smile. A smile can make unpleasantness go away.

I really loved this place. Finger licking good food. We tried some of their starters, pastas, pizzas, enchiladas beans, one item from their second course and sizzling brownie. They have revamped the place to the norms of fire safety and made it more funky and trendy. The floral touch to the chairs and the decor make it nice casual place to dine. The service is excellent and the staff was quite friendly and polite. I would really give a kudos to them.

littleitaly is the kind of restaurant where every bite of everything will make you go ā€œis this seriously vegetarian?ā€ šŸ¤©ā£ ā£ Located in the heart of Juhu, they serve the most delicious vegetarian Italian food and you could pick anything from their menu and have a good time. Theyā€™ve added a new menu which has dishes like a Zucchini spaghetti, Truffle pasta and a 5 cheese ravioli that you have to try! ā£ This is one of those restaurants that with their ambience and food transports you to the quaint cafes of Italy that you will always have a good meal at! šŸ šŸ· ā£

A very good place where you can spend time with your friends and family. Visited here with one of my friend for casual dinner. Though this place is very expensive the quantity of food is amazing here and worth paying for it. This place makes everything in-house and food here is freshly made every morning. Nice and simple ambience with very good music. Staff here is very polite and greeted us very well. Loved it. Would visit again! We had - ā€¢Nachos with refried beans - Nachos were made by the chef here and it was very crispy. It was nice and cheesy with beans. Served with salsa sauce with was tangy. ā€¢Labenese jar (highly recommended) - This was specially suggested by the staff there as we were very dicy about this dish and we did not regret after having this. Uniquely made. Nice concept. A very big thumbs up! ā€¢Pasta Del borone ravioli (highly recommended) - Best ravioli I ever had. Ravioli was stuffed with spinach and Parmesan cheese which wasade with pink sauce. Again a very nice dish which was suggested by the staff. ā€¢Chocolate Bomb - A very good Dessert which was basically a brownie filled with hot chocolate served with vanilla ice-cream.

It has been always a great experience visiting Little Italy since many many years. Over the years the cuisine, quality and taste has remained unchanged and is amazing. Since the renovation, the original vibe and ambience has been lost and the premise needs better upkeep. The make shift dinning space at road level is very noisy due to traffic as the structure is temporary. I always avoid sitting here. Visited yesterday. The food as always was great however the wine was stale. They did replace with another though. The first such thing experience here. Hope does not happen again.

Legendary is the best name that suits Little Italy Juhu been in service since 25 yrs and still going strong and the reason for which can easily be understood once you experience their hospitality. Went there for a dinner date with my wife as we both are vegetarian for this month. And not to say Little Italy is a pure Veg place having Jain options too.The restaurant is very easy to locate and has valet services. Would advise to pre book and come as it gets busy during rush hours. The place is newly done up and has a very warm and welcoming feel to it.The staff is well verse with the menu and will sure guide and suggest you on what one must pick according to their taste plate. Coming to what i called for STARTED WITH Bruschetta - The classic conti starter which is freshly baked bread grilled with garlic, olive oil, oregano topped with a generiois tooping of freshly cut tomatoes. (added a bit of parmesan grated to enhance tatse ).A good little starter if you looking to have a heavy main. MAIN FOCUS Ravioli in Al Pesto Genovese - Ravioli stuffed in panner and spanish (the filling was so yummy ) with a pesto sauce (option of saucy or dry is also give by the staff) which is freshly crushed basil tossed in garlic pine nut and again topped with parmesan. This dish is yummy cheese and too filling. Spaghetti - Aglio Olio E Peperoncino - The classic aglio olio tossed with Spaghetti was a outstanding dish for some one like me who prefers this dish simple less cheese and full of aromas of garlic chilly and parsley topped with oliver oil. THIRSTY US To acomapany my meal we called for two mocktails Peach Please and Coke Float - Both were perfect to its taste and very well presented. SWEET TOUCH Tramissu - If you end your meal with a great desert the meal feels complete. And the tramissu we called for just did that.Freshly baked each morning as informed by team had the perfect balance of rum coffee vanila cream on the sponge cake topped with chocolate powder. Was over before a eye was winked. Highly recommended All in all had a great dinning experience kudos to Sandeep Mandal and team who took prefect care of us and made sure we had a great Date. Looking forward to having more such great dinning experience at Little Italy Juhu....

My order was late by 2 hrs. No one at the restaurant was picking up my calls. And finally one guy pick up apologies for being late and asking me if itā€™s okay for him to call back in 5 mins after checking. But guess what he switched off his phone instead. And finally after almost 30 mins they decide to pick up the landline. And acted all confused about the order. The pizza finally reached me after 40 Mins. It was cold and not very hygiene as the box had oil marks on it. So I obviously donā€™t eat the pizza and had to toss it in the bin.
I am only writing this review because today I ordered from them again and I am facing the same issues. On on responding on the given no and since they use their own delivery guys. The order is already running late by 15 mins as I typing this review.

The food at little Italy is good however definitely not reliable. They use their own delivery men and not zomato.

I have personally experienced a delivery time of over 3 hours and it wasnā€™t the first time such an incident had occurred.

If youā€™re looking for a reliable on-time delivery definitely do not order from here. Period.

The food Little Italy was super delicious. The cheese fondue was a treat to eyes as well as taste buds. I had ordered white sauce pasta, pizza, cheese fondue and melted chocolate dessert. Each and every dish was beautiful in it's own way. I m definitely in love with the cheese fondue. Cant get that tasty feeling out of my mind. I would recommend everyone to go there and check out the delicious food

Little Italy is a great friends & family friendly restaurant in Juhu! The staff is extremely courteous & friendly, vegan food is available even though itā€™s probably not the best. However youā€™ll end up having a great time

This is the 2nd time in a row that Little Italy has disappointed . The order placed at 7:15 pm was delivered at 8:45 pm cold and stale.

This is because the delivery guy forgot half of the order and decided to stop half way and wait for the balance order to be delivered .

Absolutely pathetic service and no proactiveness on their part to keep customers informed .

They just lost a customer for good!

We ordered pizza yesterday, it was cold, hard, stale and expensive. Disappointed!

Little Italy is an amazing location with variety of food items, it had a number of options to choose from and the ordered mocktails we had were really amazing!
Their Pasta barbaresca ravioli was a total winner the spinach and Gouda cheese filling was so heavy.
The most tastiest food that we liked here was Garlic bread and the cheese nachos! To be honest it was very heavy we couldn't have finished it by ourselves if it was even a little more, super heavy mains, strongly recommend!
Not forgetting their chocolate lava cake such a scrumptious end to a wonderful lunch!
Lovely place with amazing lightings and seating arrangement our server Sandeep was of a lot of help he told us about the best choices.
Little Italy is a must visits when nearby juhu

Place was nice. Not quiet the same as the previous times. I went there because I was feeling nostalgic and was happy to see most of the staff was the same. The food was good and the staff recommended good options for the gnocci. Overall was happy with the experience

Zomato should not have a restaurant listed that you cannot support.

One of the Original, Vegetarian, Semi Authentic, Italian stand alone restaurants from back in the day thats still thriving. Def check out their Crostini Vesuvio, Mushrooms in garlic & olive oil, Zen Pizza, Cannelloni & couple it with a red Bordeaux.. Don't forget the Tiramisu. Though the quality has been consistent over the years, there are lots of new options for authentic Italian in the city.

What more could you wish ! Mesmerizing surrounding paired with a mouth watering creamy penne pasta and a glass of wine alongside. Little Italy has always been a favourite for people loving authentic Italian cuisine. Pizza topped with sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella, perfect for a afternoon meal. Place with a lovely ambience. The name says it all "Little Italy" in Sula.

Service- 5/5
Food Quality- 5/5
Ambience- 5/5
Must try- Lebanese Jar, Sicilian Pizza, Tiramisu and Chocolate Bomb

Located near Juhu Beach this restaurant serves you a large variety of different cuisines. I tried Lebanese Jar which consisted of different layers of cous cous pilaf, crushed veg falafel bullets, basil hummus topped with salad was served in a jar. One of the unique dishes I had till date.

Sicilia is the best thin crust pizza served by Little Italy in Juhu. It is a thick based pizza marinated in chilly Poland topped with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, pickled onion, sundries tomatoes and fresh basil.
This restaurant might be a bit costly but it is worth a visit. The staff is friendly.

This famous in juhu is famous for its authentic Italian food but unfortunately it's not worth it.
The food here tastes bland and the service wasn't really great.
Honestly we feel this place is a lil over hyped but you can visit just once if you're craving Italian food.
We tried some of their dishes and heres what we gotta say.

1. Pineapple and orange juice- A regular one but too sweet

2. Lovers night mocktail - Consisted on pineapple and lemon. We did not love the taste much hence we suggest you should try at your own risk

3. Insalata genarino salad - Consisted of olives, red yellow bell peppers, garlic, cheddar cheese and tossed in vinegar and olive oil. It was too salty in taste.

4. Veg quesadillas- Corn tortillas filled with cheese and special indian spices. Good in taste.

5. Sunflower pizza - Served in the shape of a sunflower, this pizza is something if you wanna try. The toppings included mozzarella and parmesan cheese, bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, corn, zafar oil and sunflower seeds. The taste was bland but if you want to try sometime unique you can opt for this one.

The disappointments were the desserts. Blueberry cheesecake was dry and pathetic in taste and the chocolate orange mousse wasn't any great. Hence we dont recommend any of the desserts here.

You can only visit this place to try some of their authentic italian salads or pizzas.

I visited this place on Valentine's day . This place is awesome and that food was really delicious. I really enjoy having pizzas, pasta and Brownie. The ambience is also very beautiful. You should visit this place .

The Sicilian pizza, though good, wasn't upto the mark. It felt like it was dipped in oil. The taste was ok but too salty for my like. The restaurant was supposed to be closing maybe, so they hurried, because they didn't have any of the stuff available to order baring few. Not a great experience but not an experience whose rating should be taken into account.

Little Italy is a fine vegetarian Italian restaurant which resides on the main road Juhu Tara road, bang opposite Juhu beach and near Kishore Kumar bungalow. Itā€™s an ideal for family gatherings and celebrations.
I love how theyā€™ve kept their menu so extensive, serving not only Italian but as well as Mexican and Lebanese.

So yes they do serve Hummus and Pita which was my favourite here. Yummy and smooth as silk hummus with olive oil topped with black olives served with warm pita breads.

For starters you can order their sizzling hot Spinach Salsa dip which is served with mini toasts, which you can dip and have. Itā€™s a great snack to munch on in the start.

Pizza Napoli is one of their best sellers and it was amazing. Topped with a lot of fresh and nicely cooked veggies, and lotsa cheese just like I love. The thin crust pizza base is what added the main element to the pizza.

Pasta Barbaresca was the best spaghetti pasta Iā€™ve had till date. Itā€™s loaded with white sauce and fine veggies like broccoli bell peppers. It was saucy and cheesy and tasty.

Cannelloni Alla Fioren is again my favourite. Go for it if youā€™re a fan of cheesy stuffed pastas. Pasta sheets packed with ricotta cheese and spinach, my favourite combo, topped with alot of cheese. Cheese lovers gonna love this!!!

At the end, being extremely full with all the cheesy dishes, I still couldnā€™t miss out on the desserts and called for their Blueberry Cheesecake which was airy and fluffy topped with blueberry compote. I loved it!!

Little Italy- Easy to locate amd hard to leave the place! One of the best dine in place you can find in juhu. Place really has the best vibe as you'll see place populated by many people in and out, on a regular weekday. The people kept coming and the place has plenty of accommodation to host everyone and with amazingly quick service and polite staff. The order get on your table in 10-15 mins after you order with excellent taste. The place has various cuisine too choose from. The menu is so big that it will take almost 10-15 visit to finish everything in the menu. Surely you can visit it everyday and you can try any new thing you desire. We ordered :- Crostini rustini Pale di patato Cheese founde Mini zatar rolls Pizza mellino Mocktails:- Dead woman walking Nice-N-Naughty Fizzy fiz Peach please Dessert:- Chocolate bomb Ferero rocher mouse cake Sizzling brownie with ice cream

Food: 5/5
Loved the food. Absolutely amazing presentation and very fresh yummy and satisfying.
The stand out for me was the cannaloni as it was delicious and filling. A wonderful decor and good seating space.
Service: Quick, clean and well mannered. The staff knew exactly how a dish should be served and thus very humble.
Overall loved every bit. We visit little Italy in Juhu, last week for dinner with my mom. It was a chill dinner scene and this restaurant was on our wish list since quite some time but wasn't able to visit sooner. This is an all veg restaurant that offers Italian cuisine. The restaurant is divided in two parts- ground level and 0.5 level.
Its cute but decor is basic. But that makes it more relevant, i guess.
The place was packed when we entered the restaurant.
It took us a while to settle in and order- since their menu is filled with so many options, it left us confused as to what to order.
We asked the manager to help us with our order. On his suggestion we went forĀ
1. FUNGHI TRIFOLATI- sauteed mushrooms served with bread.
2. LEBENESE JAR- hummus, couscous, falafel bullets all together served in a jar topped with salad.
3. Walking dead woman mocktail
4. Peach Please mocktail
5. SICILIA PIZZA
6. RISOTTO FUNGHI E ZAFFERANO- mushroom and cheese risotto with saffron and cream.

All the dishes above were super yum and delicious. We found the pizza okay, not that it wasn't tasty, but perhaps everyone has a pizza type, and sicilia wasn't ours. it is a bit on the spicier side, so the ones that are up for a spicy pizza, must try that. But their 3 cheese pizza, i have heard is also their best one on their menu.
We loved everything else- the starters, the drinks, the main course- everything was on point and super filling.
Lastly, we ordered for Tiramisu- we just had to (even though we were stuffed to another level). And oh damn, one of the best in the city and definitely a must try here.
The staff was helpful, ambiance is decent and portions are great to share between 2-3 Persons.

Our rating:
SERVICE- 8.5/10
AMBIANCE- 7.5/10
FOOD- 9/10
VALUE FOR MONEY- 9/10

Food 5/5 āāāāā
Service 5/5 āāāāā
Ambiance 5/5 āāāāā

Little Italy name it self says it all and yes you can trust them. One of the best itlian food in town. They even serve Mexican , labanese , pizza with around 40 variants and with perfection. With all food tried here couldn't manage to get 1 mistake in taste or service.

Location šŸ“ 5 min drive from juhu beach.

Let's quick start to food and beverages.

Sicak hummus : have tried hummus at around 5-7 different resturant . National and international but this tasted really different hot semi crushed chickpeas topped with veggies and crunchy pita bread. A portion good enuf for 3. Can categorised it as healthy food.

Spinachi Salsa : this was my 1st time to try this. Basically Fondue served in Healthy version. Let's not compare it. Basically spinach balanced fresh , green made in Butter sauce very creamy equally cheesey but doesn't feels heavy. Served with crispy toasted bread.

Coming to mocktails. Now this were really interesting.

Nice - N - Naughty : this was basically black current based mocktail mixed with vanilla ice cream and Sprite . Tasted really amazing can go good with any food. Recommended to try.

Peach please šŸ‘ : now this was basically Orange juice mixed in peach suyrp and Sprite. One who loves sour flavour may enjoy this. But i personally feel resturant needs to work on this a bit to dailute the taste.

Coming to main course

This is one of the best risotto had in recent time. Perfect balance of cream , cheese , Veggies and taste.

Risotto bescimelle pomodor : basically pink sauce based risotto with exotic Veggies. Broccoli , zucinni and red yellow bell pepper. Tasted really amazing loved it to the core. Served perfectly warm. Presentation was outstanding.

Coming to my urs everyone's favorite..!!! Yes dessert time.

Ferro Rocher mousse šŸ°

Name says it all and my mouth again starts watering listening to this yummm piece of Ferro pastry. It was really mouth mealthing and one of the finest pastry in recent time. But doesn't ends here read the next dessert and check out the video of it on our Insta page.

Chocolate bomb : upgraded version of choco lava but this got no comparison. Simply amazing soft layer of bread filled with sparkling lequid chocolate a perfect to full fill chocolate craving served with vanilla ice cream and garnished with chocolate sauce. This Place had been on my bucket list the entire year in 2019 and finally I paid a visit in December.

Reservations are highly recommended as it was filled with a lot of family crowd and what luck I had made a reservation earlier.

Their Menu is so elaborate with so much of variety to select from,They have about 40 Pizza Options to Select from and The Pasta varieties are amazing too

We started off with A Soup as it's quite cold climate and Tried their Minestrone Soup, perfectly hot and filled with a variety of vegetables

From Their Pasta Selections I opted for-

Aglio Olio Pepperencio they suggest you different selection of Pastas like Spaghetti,Fusilli,Farfalle,Ravioli I tried the Ravioli it was a stuffed Pasta with a filling of Paneer and Palak,Olive oil,Garlic,Chilly

My personal suggestion is to increase the Portion Size,It was great in taste and packed with flavours

We ended our Meal with Tiramisu which was nice and creamy

The Service is absolutely Brilliant and I would say they are knowledgeable too,A big Mention to Pradeep and Sanjay who took great care of us

I will be back soon to try More Pasta varieties

The ambience too is very nice and cozy

Do visit and let me know about your experience

Little Italy is a nice place in Juhu near Chowpatty. This was a last-minute decision and of course, I keep exploring new places whenever possible so fine with this.Ambience was good and staff was very friendly. Since I went bit early, around 7, we ordered few stuff and following are the dishes I triedĀ

Minestrone Soup
Chefā€™s special sizzlers
Red Velvet Cake

Ā
Minestrone Soup
The menu says A clear soup with chunks of fresh vegetablesĀ

As per Wiki
Minestrone Soup is Minestrone is a thick soup of Italian origin made with vegetables, often with the addition of pasta or rice, sometimes both. Common ingredients include beans, onions, celery, carrots, stock, and tomatoes.
There is no set recipe for minestrone, since it can be usually made out of whatever vegetables one has. It can be vegetarian, contain meat, or contain an animal bone-based stock (such as chicken stock). Angelo Pellegrini, however, argued that the base of minestrone is bean broth, and that borlotti beans (also called Roman beans) "are the beans to use for genuine minestrone".[1]

Ā I wanted to have a clear soup so ordered this one but it was not up to my expectation. The soup had basic veggies like beans, carrots. May be Minestrone soup is made with whatever is left as veggie but still expected a bit more. It was decent enough but less than expected

Chefā€™s special sizzlers
Served nicely and sufficient for 2 people. Served Noodles, French Fires, Risotto, veg kebabs, Veggies nicely cooked and Tomatoes.Ā

Kabab was good and so are French fries and Veggies. Nicely done. Even the risotto was ok andĀ
cannot get better than this. The one, which made me unhappy, is the noodles.Ā I can smell and taste Ghee in the Noodle, which turned me off. I donā€™t know if these items are made like this or I smell but it was not what I personally like. No complaint about other items but this needs to be redone or people who are ordering noodles into sizzler should be aware and ask the server beforehand.Ā Rest all good.Ā Ā

Red Velvet Cake
Thus was the usual one. Big enough and it was good layers of cheese.
Ā

Overall it was a good experience and the above couple of things should be checked before you order so it was let you down.

My Job is to make you aware of whatever is my experience so that you'll use first-hand information before you order.

Rating will be
Ambience ā€“ 3.5/5
Taste ā€“ 3.5/5
Variety ā€“ 4/5
Hygiene ā€“ 4/5
Server ā€“ 4/5
Overall ā€“ 3.5/5

Please follow me onĀ
Facebook: let's eat n share
Instagram: @letseatnshare
Blog:letseatnshare.blogspot.com

This is a heaven for vegetarians.....
By far the best spot for Italian food in Mumbai.
I highly recommend the ravioli and the aglio olio pasta... The margherita pizza was as close to perfection as it can get .... The chocolate bomb was
the highlight of my dinner......
It is one of the must visit restraunts while near Juhu....
I will surely come back again and again here with my family.

In the lanes of Juhu, near the famous Juhu beach, Little Italy is a restaurant that focuses on providing fine dining experience. With their festive Christmas vibe and courteous staff, heres what we tried here:
Cheese Fondue :
Perfectly thick cheese dip with herbs along with toasted bread and veggies by its side, it was tasty as it appears to be!

Lebanese jar mini:
Goodness of Lebanese food into a jar was a delightful part of the meal with a jar layers of flavoured rice and falafels and yummy sauces!

Sicilia pizza:
Overload of mushrooms, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes marinated in chilly sauce. Imagine the taste, it was exactly like what you think itā€™d be!

Chef Special Sizzler :
A sizzler with fries, risotto, spaghetti, stir fried veggies and cheesy fingers. Wish to say a lot about it, but donā€™t take my word for it, experience this delight yourself!

Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut mousse cake:
A delicious as it sounds, this was the most amazing thing youā€™ll ever have!

Tiramisu:
Perfectly Italian. Soaked in rum, filled with coffee flavoured goodness.

We also tried their mocktails, which were: DEAD WOMAN WALKING & GREEN EMERALD. Both were pretty amazing, and good to try!
My overall experience here was superb, and Iā€™ll recommend all of you to try this amazing place!

Best food Iā€™ve ever had!
Located near the famous Juhu beach, this restaurant is a pure veg Italian restaurant with a widespread menu & a lot to offer. With their secret recipes inspired by the original Italian origins, they add some magical taste to everything they serve here. Hereā€™s what we tried from their elaborate menu:
Lebanese Jar (recommended): Layers of cous cous pillaf on the top, with crushed falafel, basil hummus, salad & with pita bread sticks was something so palatable, youā€™d love it the most!

Cheese Fondue: Classic cheese fondue with mixed herbs and a side of toasted bread, stir fried broccoli, carrots & zucchini to dip and indulge in!

From a list of 40 WOOD BURNED PIZZAS, we tried the SICILIA: A thick base pizza with a lot of mushrooms on the top, pickled onions, sundried tomatoes (all of them marinated in chilly oil), this pizza was an absolute delight with loads of mozzarella!

Chef. Special Sizzler: A sizzler with secret taste which has fries, risotto, corn cheese fingers, stir fried in herbs veggies and some delicious spaghetti! I swear it tasted like heaven!

Mocktails: Dead woman walking and green emerald were my top picks, they were super refreshing!

In DESSERT, we tried:
Ferrero Rocher mousse cake (recommended):Sounds delicious, looks delicious and it was delicious! Iā€™m absolutely in love with how tasty it was in every bite! Delicate mousse cake with light & dark chocolate was so heavenly that it topped my list of favourites!

Tiramisu: Home made sponge cake soaked in rum & coffee with vanilla cream custard & served with chocolate powder was something you can actually binge on! Totally Italian!

Overall, my experience was really amazing over here. With courteous staff, Christmasy vibe decor, nice ambience & quaint interiors, and ofcourse, scrumptious food, this is what we refer to proper fine dining. Must visit this place!

Located in the busy lanes of Juhu and just opposite Juhu Beach, "Little Italy" is a pure vegetarian Italian restaurant. It is an ideal place if one loves Italian food. They have an extensive menu which consists of Italian, Lebanese, Mexican cuisines. Keeping up with the theme, the decor is minimalistic and pretty. The service is smooth and the servers are very attentive, making the dining experience even better.Ā

What I ordered:
BEVERAGE & SOUP
Peach Please Mocktail - A mix of orange juice with peach and apricot crush. It had a very sharp peach flavor.Ā

Minestrone Soup - A clear vegetable soup with a lot of vegetables. A very good option if you want to start light.

STARTER
Mini Zatar Rolls - Lebanese oven-baked appetizer stuffed with cheese and vegetables, served along with taihna sauce, hummus, and harissa. This was a love at first bite. Tasted so heavenly. Must Order!

MAIN COURSE
Chef's Special Sizzler - It consisted of Matriciana Sauce Spaghetti, Saffron Risotto, exotic vegetables, french fries, and cheese corn rolls. Spaghetti was medium spiced with crumbled soya, whereas the risotto was sweet and aromatic. This is a top pick if you want to try more than 1 Italian dish. The combination of the sizzler was drooling and balanced. The portion size is large so it can be shared between 2-4 people.Ā

DESSERTS
Mango Cheesecake - Without hesitation, just go ahead and order this! This is a perfect way to end your delicious meal. The creamy and light cream cheese and the crunchy biscuit layer makes this a perfect dessert.

Summarizing, this is a very good dining option if you want to try Italian food. The place is always crowded even during day times, so make sure you book a table before you visit.

One of the finest dining places I've recently been to!
Wow.. what a food quality they serve ! Almost everything is made fresh every day.. which is practiced rarely.
No frozen food, no gastronomy !
The deep fried nachos they make, even those had ajwaine in them. It's all about aiming to serve the best !
The crowd here is of course creamy and ambience is so lovely ! They have outside seating too which is air conditioned as well.

Coming to the food and Mocktails we had..
Mocktails:
1. Virgin Mojito (Kiwi)
2. Nice-N-Naughty Mocktails
Appetizers:
1. Lebanese Jar Mini
2. Nachos with Cheese Sauce
Mains:
1. Sicilia Pizza
2. Ravioli with Pasta Sauce
Dessert:
1. Tiramisu

I just feel like going there again and order that pizza and the cheesy nachos dish and some more lovely food !
Wow, I'm missing the taste now..
Homemade nachos and cheese sided by salsa sauce that was real yummy thing to start eating with. Virgin Mojito & Nice-N-Naughty, these two mocktails had some energetic feel and were quite refreshing. If asked to opt one.. then I'd surely go for Nice-N-Naughty which I liked more.
Sicilia Pizza with thin crust.. OMG ! That was one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life ! So finger licking good !
And yes, there was this different item called Lebanese Jar Mini, it was basically the stuffing that we see in a shawarma or falafel. The idea is to serve the stuffing rather than mostly the bread !

Dine becomes Fine when the restaurant has well trained and courteous staff to meet the expectations of the customer (plus amazing food of course). Here at Little Italy, Juhu.. everything seemed to exceed the expectations for me..

Yeah the prices are on the higher side but you know, good stuff comes for good amount of money ! It is worth it I can surely tell you

Overall Review:

Food: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Location: 5/5
Rates: 3.5/5

The Pink sauce ravioli here is to die for! The white sauce spaghetti is also so delicious! Authentic Italian food, super tasty! Highly recommend to visit once!

An "established" old school outlet..Have heard about since I was a kid but entered for the first time today.Ordered the Lasagna,Canneloni and Garlic Bread for the mains.
Both the mains come drenched in a cheesy tomato based sauce.
The lasagne is mushy and forgettable, sometimes almost like a block of dough between bites.
For me,the Canneloni was the winner.Goof texture and filling and a slightly dente feel!
Dessert was Tiramisu which was good.Wet in the centre which I liked.

Just yummy Italian food. Don't miss the cheese fondue and the awsome sunflower pizza

If you're a fan of Italian food and fine dining this is a good place for a night out. The atmosphere is warms and friendly with music that's soft enough for easy dinner conversation. There is no non-vegetarian served hereand they have options for Jain food as well. The dishes are well prepared and reasonably authentic. They have an extensive wine list and a good selection of cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. The drawbacks will be the huge line outside and the sky rocketing price that can be well divided in a group

This one of those place that celebrate veg food. The variety in the menu can guarantee that you will never get bored with dishes. Ambience very cozy, staff very welcoming.
The cost of each dish is also quite reasonable for the location of the restaurant.

Crispy fried zucchini
Long finger chip like zucchini served with some mayo sauce was great way to start our meal.

Nacho with cheese
Another Great appetizers, the salsa sauce complimented the nachos perfectly.

Truffle sauce ravioli with cheese
The ravioli had great texture and was cooked very well, the gravy gave the much need the spicy kick. Overall was an wholesome dish.

Ferraro Roche cheese cake
Perfect way to end ones meal, my favorite chocolate in form of cheesecake. Amazing presentation and had great consistency to texture of the cake.

There are many places to dig into gorgeous Italian food but Little Italy is one of the best in the town. Located in Juhu, this small fine dining ristorantte serves a delicious bunch of items in their menu.

1. The Ravioli was super creamy and delicious. The pasta scallops had a spinach & ricotta cheese filling which was in perfect balance and very smooth. But overall quite a heavy dish.

2. The Risotto was both creamy as well as cheesy enough to make you lead into a food coma. Many places get the texture wrong, either it's too sticky or too bland or too dry. But not here. They got everything in perfect balance. So kudos to them.

3. The Lasagna is one the best that you can have in the city. The cottage cheese is perfect minced & layered through the pasta sheets. The sauce is light and flavourful. Although I wish it was more creamy in its texture as the raw tomatoes flavours was overpowering, atleast when I had it.

Overall, a superb place for a fine dining experience when you're looking for an awesome Italian cuisine experience.

Little Italy Juhu is a beautiful restaurant located right opposite the famous Juhu Beach. The restaurant has 2 different seating areas. They serve modern Italian Cuisine along with a touch of Lebanese.

They have recently launched a new menu catering both millennials and family. It is healthy as well as finger licking good.

Avocado Crostini

Sesame Bread toasted to perfection and topped with fresh Guacamole and fresh cherry Tomato. The sesame flavor really stands out in this Crostini.

Sicak Hummus

This is a hummus salad which consists of lukewarm hummus topped with a lot of fresh lettuce and other vegetables.

Zucchini Spaghetti

Super long Zucchini Spaghetti tossed in olive oil along with roasted Almonds and Pine Nuts along with lots of Parmesan. It was one of the best spaghetti I have ever tried till date.

Cheese Sauce Truffle Mushroom Ravioli

Delicate Ravioli Pasta stuffed with Mushrooms cooked in garlicky cheese sauce which had an amazing truffle flavor coming from the truffle oil. This was easily one of the best dishes here

Aglio Olio Pizza

Aglio Olio is one of my favorite forms of Pasta, giving it a modern twist by serving it in a pizza form was one of the best decisions. Thin crust multigrain base was topped with exotic vegetables like Zucchini, Broccoli, Babycorn, Bell Peppers, Basil leaves and Feta Cheese. It was served along with flavored Olive oil. Another favorite dish if mine!

Chocolate Bomb

One of the best chocolate desserts I have tried till date, it was literally a bomb filled with tonnes of chocolate and served along with ice cream. It's a must try.Ā
I used to love this place and the food. Today when I ate there the foods quality had dropped. Further I gave the car to the valet to park. He parked it right under a no parking sign and when questioned the valet claimed that he did not know that the police would give a ticket. The manager at the restaurant just stood and observed instead of at the very least offering to look into the issue. When he I asked him why he wasnā€™t intervening or saying anything he said he had a long line of waiting customers. I guess in his huge line, one unhappy customer doesnā€™t matter. Sad to see this at one of my favourite places to eat. The least they could have done is to offer to pay the fine. What is the point of having a valet service if he going to to park the car where I will get fined. May as well park it on the middle of the road myself. It was only after my aunt who was dining with me suggested did the manager even offer to pay the fine. I was really disappointed with the lack of interest on the part of the staff and lack of atleast acknowledging the basic issue here. Sorry but you guys just lost one customer.
Ordered
-broccoli soup
Watery, bland.
-spinach stuffed ravioli in butter sage sauce
Sticky stuffing, lacked flavour/spice, thick pasta
-penne in mix/pink sauce with veggies
Heavy thicker sauce- Ok ok
-pizza with tomato sauce and veggies (forgot the name)
BLAND

Ambience-
Felt like one dingy restaurant, felt unclean, taste was bad, quality not so sure (if you go right to the washroom and peak in to the kitchen, it feels like a dhaba)

Highly highly disappointed from a name so old and renowned!

67th Restaurant to be rated a complete 5on5.

Little Italy is located on the Juhu Tara Road and it is on the main road plus available on Google Maps hence easy to find.

Little Italy is among the oldest and finest restaurant which is famous for authentic Italian food in Mumbai. This outlet in Juhu was started in 1995 and currently they have 35 outlets across 20 cities in 3 countries.

The restaurant is decent in size with two seating options available. The ambiance is bright and tables chairs are arranged systematically. The outside section is the newly created and it looks amazing. The artificial grass used, Edison bulbs and colourful seatings looks wonderful. I would prefer the outside section rather than the inside one.

The menu consist of Italian, Mexican and Lebanese cuisines. Being a pure Vegetarian restaurant the options available are huge and the menu is self explanatory. Also they have used Alphanumeric characters beside every dish so if you are not able to pronounce the dishes you can say the code and the staff understands it. Prices are high but the quality of the ingredients was exceptional and the quality served is also satisfying.

I went here for dinner with my cousins and the kitchen service was on time as the dishes came on time plus the table service by Shivkumar was great as he knew the menu well and he recommended dishes as per our preference which turned out to be good.

What We Had -
APPETIZERS~
Nachos with Cheese Sauce -
Crisp nachos with cheese sauce tasted delicious. The cheese sauce tasted really good and the nachos are served plain with little bell peppers on it so you get the authentic taste of all the ingredients.

Sicak Hummus -
One of the best version of hummus I have eaten. Hummus topped with salad and crunchy pita bread croutons. The hummus was smooth and it had nice richness of olive oil and little taste of garlic too. The salad had amazing crunch and the pita bread croutons adds awesomeness to the dish. It looked stunning and tasted brilliant.

Cheese Quesadillas -
Soft tortilla filled with gooey cheese tasted outstanding. The cheese filling was generous and I loved it completely. It is served with sour cream so you can eat that to tone down the taste of Cheese.

Arancini Balls (Pink Sauce) -
Risotto balls served in Pink sauce tasted great. The risotto balls had nice black pepper flavours and I loved the sauce as it was not too tangy so both the sauces arabiatta and alfredo were used to perfection

MAINS~
Pizza Napoli -
Wood burn pizza with perfect crust. This had fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, capsicum, sun-dried tomatoes and jalapenos marinated on chilli oil. It also have red chilli crumbs on the top which enhance the flavours more. Overall the pizza tasted great as it was spicy and the crunchy base was too good. We all loved the pizza till the last slice.

Risotto Ai Funghi Porcini -
Italian brown rice with imported Porcini mushrooms made in cream and parmesan cheese tasted perfect. The rice was cooked well and the cheese was creamy and delicious. The mushrooms add nice earthiness and they were juicy as well. I must say they executed the risotto perfectly and I loved it.

DESSERTS~
Cream Caramel -
Caramel pudding not too sweet tasted nice. Adding more caramel sauce will help here.

Fererro Rocher Mousse Cake -
Two layered cake. This had dark chocolate layer & hazelnut chocolate layer with light sponge base which tasted decent. It had great flavours of hazelnut but somewhere it didn't had smooth texture of mousse and felt like eating a jello based dessert.

BEVERAGES~
Lovers Night -
Blueberry and soda based tasted decent.

Peach Please -
Peach and soda based tasted outstanding.

So the meal at Little Italy was perfect in every manner. Everything served right from the appetizers to desserts tasted amazing and the service was excellent too. Therefore I highly recommend this place.

Weā€™ve visited this place several times. An absolute delight for vegetarians who love Italian food! Weā€™ve tried many items but the ravioli has to be my favourite. Itā€™s the first thing that I order every time we visit Little Italy! The place is crowded on weekends.

Looking for lovely places to Charm your loved ones! Check this out!

Quick recommendations : Drinks, Ravioli, garlic breads and The mini falafel jar.

Little Italy can lie anywhere between a fine dine and Cafe and a date place. Located very close to Juhu Beach, this place can be easily spotted.

The ambience is no much mush mush but the bright vibes make one happy. The taunted yellow lights make it apt for dates too! Couple and community tables both ensure that groups anything between 2-15 can sit and dine together.

The Food is mostly Italian and the variety would blow your mind away! A menu designed with eye on detail ensures that no two dishes are same. The flavours are profound and distinct. The taste palettes tickle the Italian food flavours for one.

Do check their selection of wines and drink. The mocktails too are a rejoice. Lava Flow a coconut milk and pineapple juice enriched drink is close to pina colada and you will love it.
A selection of fresh juices is also available and is worth of price

Recommended in food:

1) Lebanese Jar: The idea of Lebanese platter in a jar is unique as well as amusing. The core ingredients remain same: cous cous is topped over with crushed falafel, basil hummus and salad! The layering however makes a difference to the perspective of the dish! A carefully spooned out portion brings more or less all layers! That scooped off with pita sticks is yum! The portion initially seems small but is good enough for two people.

2) Crostini Rustici: Definitely one of the best Crostini and garlic breads range is found here! This one has fresh tomato puree on base and cheese on top! The capers, olives add a perfect tanginess! The sour bursting flavours of capers are definitely my favourite now.

3) Spinach and Pinenut Ravioli: Smooth creamy mix sauce holds cut Spinach and pinenut filled ravioli Pockets. The texture is soft and the mild crunch completes the texture palette! Also recommended!

For desserts, we had their cream Caramel: which to an extent felt similar to Caramel Custard. Would try their tiramisu and other cheesecakes next time!

Addition of hot beverages can also be a very good idea!

P. S. THE LEBANESE jar is the highlight : do also bring a larger jar size in options!

Had an amazing time!

We went for lunch at this amazing place that serves organic food. They have their own farm from where the source their vegetables and prepare their own cheese for the pizza and pastas. The owner was kind enough to give us this information and my 4 year old who is usually fussy with food enjoyed all the dishes he had.

Now coming to the food, we tried almost everything, spaghetti, pizza pesto exotica which had a unique shape (check the first pic), mocktails, dessert.

I have a sweet tooth and I will vouch for their caramel cream custard. The chocolate walnut fudge with ice cream was at another level.

Tons of options and recommended for a a must try if you are in Juhu

Decent place. Pure veg though and it doesnt explicitly mention that anywhere. Somehow pure veg and continental dont go together for me. However food that they did serve was of good quality. Soup although was poor and avoidable. Good ambience and courteous staff.

Little Italy...an established brand that's been in Juhu for years now. We recently visited this place on a rainy evening...the decor is simple and the seating is comfortable. Dim lights, humble staff, and gorgeous Italian food...they even serve Mexican and Lebanese dishes now. Here's what we had:

Minestrone Soup: Made to order and served piping hot...this was exactly what I needed considering the cold rainy weather these days. The šŸ… flavor was spot on...there were veggies such as carrots and pieces of pasta, as usual. I loved the fresh celery stick served along with the soup. Super yummy!

Assorted Crostini
Several pieces of bread that were topped with various things such as sautƩed vegetables, garlic butter, cheese, red tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes and basil, and olives/olive oil. Super delicious but very filling...ideal to share!

Sicak Hummus
This dish contained [a lot of] hummus that was topped with fresh shredded lettuce, bell peppers, and crunchy pita croutons, which were delicious. The hummus also contained some whole boiled chickpeas. Overall, a delicious appetizer and ideal to share...

For the main course, we had Pasta Del Barone, which was made using a combination of red and white sauce, along with parmesan cheese. We opted for ravioli as our choice of pasta, and it was delicious. So fresh and soft. We also had Rissotto Funghi E-Zafferano, which was again very tasty. Served hot, and rice was cooked to perfection and the taste of saffron and mushroom was too good. Suitable for kids too, as the dish wasn't spicy at all.

Desserts
Mango Cheesecake: Very tasty and highly recommended! The cheesecake was soft and packed with the goodness of mangoes. The base was nice and crumbly.

Sizzling Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream: A hit among kids...the brownie was fresh and moist, and the chocolate sauce was dense and not too sweet. Very tasty, yet again!

Overall, we had a brilliant time. The prices are a little high, but the food quality is very good. They only serve vegetarian food, so a must visit for fellow vegetarians.

Adios for now! šŸ˜¬

One of the iconic VEG ONLY fine dine restaurant landmarks that serves authentic Italian food around Juhu. This brand has been around a good 15 years, which is a statement in itself, meaning the food never disappoints. A few years ago during one of my visits, the interiors were just average and it looked more like a traditional Indian AC restaurant. However, with the recent renovation, the place looks modern, trendy with the use of vibrant colors and greens.

The service is usually of high standards and will not disappoint you. Valet service is available and a must around the busy lanes of heartland Juhu. We had tried the following dishes and got to say that each and every dish had its own story, taste, wonderful sourced ingredients and a beautiful presentation. The price was a bit steep for a VEG ONLY OUTLET, however, a fine dine and the location being Juhu you would expect something similar.Ā

ā–¶Cheese Fondue - Melted Cheese in White Wine with Italia herbs served with Bread and Vegetables
ā–¶Sun Flower Pizza - A multi-grain Pizza base topped with Tomato sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Grated Parmesan, Bell pepper cubes, Zucchini, Broccoli, Corn, Pine Nuts, Zatar Herb & Sunflower Seed (***Please note this is a healthy version of a PIZZA and do not expect it to taste like a DOMINOS or PIZZA HUT***)
ā–¶Veg Falafel Roll - Served with some great Pita & Hummus, Leafy Veggies with Olives
ā–¶Pasta 4 Stagioni - A Creamy Tomato sauce with Garlic, Carrots, Cauliflower Capers, Olives, and Sundried Tomatoes
ā–¶Ferrero Rocher Mousse Cake - Delicate Mousse Cake with a 2 layered dark and light chocolate with hazelnut and cake sponge base
ā–¶Chocolate Bomb - Muddy melted fantasy Chocolate served with Vanilla Ice-cream

Summary:
ā–¶Interiors ā€“ 5/5Ā
ā–¶Food ā€“ 5/5
ā–¶Service ā€“ 5/5
ā–¶Presentation ā€“ 5/5
ā–¶Quantity ā€“ 5/5
ā–¶Value F.Money ā€“ 5/5

A beautiful business lunch which ended on a high note considering the desserts were also smashing...!! A big 5 and a highly recommended outlet to anyone who reads this.

For us who studied in maneckji, Little Italy is a wave of nostalgia for many of us and a visit to it after years today was nothing but a walk down memory lane!
We had our usual favourites and loved the fact they tasted just like what they have ALWAYS tasted!
The cheese garlicky potatoā€™s mash was phenomenal and we thought life couldnā€™t get better till we tried the Pasta Barbaresca and we then felt we were the happiest, only till we had the lasagne alla napoletana which was the icing on our cake, literally!!
Fresh produce and the best of ingredients with top notch quality is what our entire meal was about!

Such a happy evening filled with happier food! Theyā€™ve revamped the place but the soul of little Italy remains the same, in its literal sense!

Little Italy is a old brand and has its outlets across the world.
It is known for its hygiene and pure vegetarian and extremely fresh and delicious food.
While talking to the owner we came to know what kind of efforts they take to serve their clients/customers.
Theyā€™ve their own cheese factory which manufactures cheese and has only 7% of fats which is not bad for health.
They donā€™t have a refrigerator in their kitchen and also they have only electric appliances in their kitchen which ensures you to have a delightful Fresh and a complete hygienic food.
Since they do not refrigerate food and cook everything on daily bases even a basic chutney theyā€™re a bit on the higher side of the price.
Coming down to their staffs and interiors, theyā€™ve 3 sections, outdoor, indoor and also a private dining for couples or families. Staffs are well groomed and polite.

Starting from the soup, CREAM DI FUNGHI: is basically a mushroom soup which was thick and creamy the taste of the mushroom was balanced with the other ingredients they had added. It was a good start of the meal.

For starters we ordered for CHEESE GARLIC BREAD AND PASTA BARBARESCA, cheese garlic bread was as usually cheese and soft,
Barbaresca was a white sauce pasta(Alfredo) it was quite tasty just it had more of garlic taste in it.

For the main course we choose, CHEFā€™S SPECIAL SIZZLER, which had a varieties of dishes in it containing Fries, Spaghetti, deep fried Cheese Rolls, Risotto and Assorted Veggies. It was very delicious.

At the end we ordered for CHOCOLATE BOMB to end our meal. It was a Choco Lava Cake served with Vanilla Ice-cream with Chocolate Syrup all over it. It was the best decision to end our meal with.

The over all tour of Little Italy was delicious and delightful. I would like to visit them again.
Must try.

Little Italy has been one of my favorites from my time in Kolkata. After shifting to Mumbai this was my first visit to the Juhu Outlet. The outlet is spacious yet compact. Seating is really comfortable.

The server's were prompt and knowledgeable. The portion sizes are really good and the family sized portions. It's a pure vegetarian joint where they don't use even egg in any preparation.

Another interesting fact is that they manufacture their one cheese which is low on lactose. These factors were interesting to know.

Now coming to the food, it was fabulous.

We started our meal with the

Sicak Hummus: This was the perfect start to the meal. Fresh hummus with loads of lettuce and baked pita, diamond shaped chips. It was so fresh and delicious. Loved the taste of the pita chips.

Crostini Assortiti: This has about 5-6 types of different Crostini, only with red sauce, with cheese sauce, garlic bread style, similar to bruschetta, baked with cheese and red sauce etc. They all tasted wonderful. The portion size is huge.

Rissoto Funghi E Zafferano: This is a great choice if you have small babies. We loved every bit of it. The mushroom half's, cheese , flavour of saffron. My fourteen month old daughter loved it.

Pasta Del baron: You can choose among a host of pasta options. We chose the ravioli. The sauce was a mix of the red and bechamel sauce. I will surely go back for this one. The ravioli was soft but not breaking. The sauce was so delicious and creamy.

Mango Cheese cake: We love mango desert and the cream cheese as well as the flavour was beautifully carried out. It felt like eating a fresh mango.

Sizzling Brownie with chocolate sauce: The sizzle was good. The brownie soft and fresh. I loved the use of roasted cashews which added a crunch to the sinful dessert.

Little Berry : A really tall glass lined with kiwi slices, it had a melange of fresh strawberry, kiwi and litchi juice. Need I say more. All my favourite fruits in one glass.

It an amazing place to visit with family. Our family loved it.

I had a lovely meal on a rainy monday afternoon...most of everything i ordered was simply lip smacking.. Right from the cream of mushroom soup, followed by the ceasar's salad(which made me feel a little less guilty of indulging) . In the main course i ordered the sunflower pizza as per their suggestion and it turned out to be something vibrant and very different...then the rissoto bescimeii al pomodoro was creamy and super tasty...although i was stuffed but being an absolute desert person had to wrap up this meal with their tiramisu and their chocolate and divine coffee ice cream!! Overall an absolutely satiating experience!!

Had heard a lot about this place, finally got a chance to visit. Located right at Juhu Tara Road this restaurant served some delicious food with a great view. They have a vast menu to choose from and some amazing Italian and Lebanese dishes. You may find it a little overpriced but the taste & quality of the food is totally worth it. All the sauces, dips etc are freshly made everyday and nothingā€™s refrigerated. Great ambience, perfect for a date, family gathering or just a lunch or dinner with your gang of friends.

Hereā€™s what we ordered:

Lebanese mini jar- a layer of cous cous, crushed veg falafel, basil hummus and salad topped with crispy mini pita bread sticks. This was something we havenā€™t tried before. Totally different and filling. Loved the hummus and sour cream. The salad was good too. A complete Lebanese dish. Must have.

Peach please- peach, apricot & orange juice blended with sprite. Sweet & fruity mocktail.

Lava flow- for those who like coconut. This had coconut milk, ice cream, pineapple and sprite. A fizzy coconut flavoured drink

Chef special sizzler- this was super delicious and heavy. This sizzler had almost everything. We opted for this as it was Italian. This consisted of spaghetti, veggies, French fries, creamy brown rice & potato croquets. It was so filling and a complete meal served in just 900ā‚¹

Chocolate bomb- as recommended by the owner this was too good. #dessert porn. Warm gooey chocolate oozing out of the chocolate bomb. Loved it. The ice cream was also something different.

Tiramisu- had tiramisu after a long time. This was a little strong and bitter but I guess thatā€™s how itā€™s supposed to be. Not sure if everyone may like this depends on your taste.

The owner Mr Mehta was super sweet and friendly. He spent a lot of time with us talking about the brand. We didnā€™t know this was a 24 year old restaurant. Got to learn a lot of things. Had a great time. Overall a good experience totally visiting again. Loved the concept of fresh food. Definitely visiting again and recommending this place to friends & family.

Never order for delivery. They said 40 mins but order didnā€™t come for 1.5hours. The reaction of the restaurant was of indifference when called. The delivery person of the restaurant doesnā€™t answer the calls also. Totally disappointed.

Coming to what i called for

STARTED WITH

Bruschetta - The classic conti starter which is freshly baked bread grilled with garlic, olive oil, oregano topped with a generiois toping of freshly cut tomatoes. (added a bit of parmesan grated to enhance tatse ).A good little starter if you looking to have a heavy main.

MAIN FOCUS

Ravioli in Al Pesto Genovese - Ravioli stuffed in panner and spanish (the filling was so yummy ) with a pesto sauce (option of saucy or dry is also give by the staff) which is freshly crushed basil tossed in garlic pine nut and again topped with parmesan. This dish is yummy cheese and too filling.

Spaghetti - Aglio Olio E Peperoncino - The classic aglio olio tossed with Spaghetti was a outstanding dish for some one like me who prefers his dish simple less cheese and full of aromas of garlic chilly and parsley topped with oliver oil.

THIRSTY US

To acomapany my meal we called for two mocktails Peach Please and Coke Float - Both were perfect to its taste and very well presented.

SWEET TOUCH

Tramissu - If you end your meal with a great desert the meal feels complete. And the tramissu we called for just did that.Freshly baked each morning as informed by team had the perfect balance of rum coffee vanila cream on the sponge cake topped with chocolate powder. Was over before a eye was winked. Highly recommended

All in all had a great dinning experience kudos to Sandeep Mandal and team who took prefect care of us and made sure we had a great Date. Looking forward to having more such great dinning experience at Little Italy Juhu....

An amazing restaurant located near Juhu Beach with beautiful ambience and delicious food and wonde service. The most unique thing about this restaurant is all sauces are made fresh everyday. And the cheese used here is also made in-house and it is very low in fat 7%.

I tried the following from the menu:

Garlic Bread With Cheese: Tasty and cheesy garlic bread. The cheese was the best part of it.

Bellassai Pizza: Thin italian base with tasty pizza sauce and onions and a low fat cheese. Tasted really good.

Chocolate Bomb: Chocolava cake with vanilla icecream. The melting lava is very tasty.

Cream Caramel: Pudding top with caramel and served with slices of Apple and kiwi. Its as beautiful as it looks. Really amazing.

Dead Woman Walking: The delicious mocktail with blue and soda.

Green Emerald: The tasty mocktail tossed with khus syrup and 7 up.

Fresh Lime Soda: The delicious soda made with proper measurements to taste amazing.

The Nachos which are made in-house are superb as also their Cheese Sauce which is again made by their in-house cheese. The Arancini with a red & white sauce is something completely new.
The Lebanese Jarmint is a fabulous dish which was totally captivating with some healthy layers.
The Bombay Pizza, Papprika Pizza, The Crostinis, Garlic Bread are all baked to perfection.
Some Yummy Soups, Salads on the Menu too along with a lot of dishes that I will definitely try when I am back.
Lastly they have some Delicious Desserts like the Classic Tiramisu, but it's the Gelatos that (again made in-house) that I absolutely love especially the Caramel Flavour amongst many other Flavours.
A Must Visit Place for everyone from the Old to the Young & youngest ....
Food Journey 1.0
I wanted to try out authentic italian food in Mumbai. I tried many restaurants, but when my friend called me out for lunch at Little Italy Juhu, I accepted. The food here is really italian with no jugaad. Even though the price is on the higher end, you get enough quantity. Itā€™s anytime better than budget italian food which comes in small tasteless quantities. The ambiance of this place is fine dine with pleasing lights and fragrance. There is also soft music to enjoy a rainy afternoon. We were around 6-7 people, one of our friends was throwing a pizza party. But we ended up ordering more than that due to look and taste.

Coming to what we had there..

Caesar's Salad (ā…˜) : I loved the croutons as they were crispy, the lettuce was also crispy. The quantity is a big thumbs up. However, I think they should add romaine lettuce to make it more authentic.

Cream Di Fungi Soup (5/5) :

They were offering options such as creamy or clear. We went for creamy. I didnā€™t regret it. It immediately triggered my taste buds. Taste is tangy and spicy. Color is pleasing with good presentation. Mushrooms were chunky.

Crostini Rustici (ā…˜) :

I loved the olives and capers on Crostini. The plain ones were also good. The best part was the crispiness. The cheese again is authentic Italian. Also, they bake their own breads. So, the food is fresh and healthy as well as hygienic.

Pizza Paprika (5/5) WITH 5 extra stars :

I ordered this one. It was a bullā€™s eye. The thin crispy crust, soft interior with lots of mozarella. The chilly oil made it spicy and the sauce made in house. I really felt blessed by eating this pizza. It was totally Italian, yet it catered to my Indian taste buds with the spicy taste. Quantity was too good so I shared it with all of my friends. Donā€™t come out of Little Italy without tasting this one.

Pasta Del Barone :

I hate spinach but one of my friends urged me to taste this. I liked spinach for the first time and ricotta ravioli was succulent. The white and red sauce had got inside it. It was really fulfilling with the taste.

Arrancini Balls in Pomodoro Sauce :

The cheese filled risotto balls deep fried to give crispy taste came with two options. I chose the cheese sauce. It added to the already awesome flavor. It was enough to call it a main course dish. I would definitely recommend it.

DESSERTS

Gelato al Caffee E Sambuca :

In Italian, ice-cream is called Gelato . I tried this one quite reluctantly. I liked the combination of coffee and sambuca liquor. I liked the taste. I would recommend it if you want to try out something unique..

Vanilla Butterscotch Gelato (5/5)-

Two people can easily fill their hearts with this one. So, tasty and scrumptious. Vanilla was rich in taste coupled with butterscotch. I give this gelato, a big big big go ahead.

I really enjoyed a funch with my friends, thatā€™s a fun with lunch. Little Italy is for pure vegetarians who love to eat tongue catering food. You get quick service with Indian hospitality. Highly recommended for family lunch and dinner.

I had visited little Italy when I was a kid with my family. However, I donā€™t remember much except of eating lot of chilli flakes. But now I visited it with my friends, itā€™s a pure veg restaurant. You will not find any other authentic italian restaurant in Mumbai other than this. The ambience and service is fine, like an authentic fine dine. The food is expensive, heavy on the pocket but portions are Indian. I mean you get good quantity and quality for the price you pay. I would definitely recommend it for a family and friends outing. I ordered my menu and tasted what my friends had ordered.Ā

Soup:

1. Cream Di Funghi (4/5)-Ā This soup looked very delicious and tasted equally good. It was a lot for one person. However, we were seven people so it was enough. The taste is a bit tangy, broth is thick and mushrooms are flavory. Presentation was neat. Itā€™s a must try soup.Ā

Salad:

1. Ceaser Salad (5/5)-Ā This one was too much for even 4 people to eat. There was light layer of cheese on theĀ lettuce. Croutons were crispy which is how they should be. They can add romaine lettuce to the dish to make it a little more interesting. However, it was a very healthy and highly recommend one from my side. Totally italian.Ā

Starters:

1. Crostini Rustici (4/5)- I tasted it a bit. My favorite toppings were artichokes as I have tried jalapeƱo elsewhere. I found the twist interesting. Good dish to try for a lazy afternoon with friends.Ā

2. Arancini A Modo Natoro (5/5)- If you miss gravy in an Italian restaurant, then this one is the dish for you. I tried this with lot of chilli flakes to make it more ā€œIndalianā€. The balls were succulent and shallow fried but not oily. The gravy was what Iā€™ll remember this restaurant for. Highly recommend, a must try dish especially for gravy and spice lovers.Ā

3. Lebanese Jar Mini (5/5)- I wanted to try lebanese menu. I saw in their menu that they have Lebanese dishes. I tried this mini jar, flavors were coming one after another. Each taste lingering in your mouth. Loved it.Ā

Mains:

1. Pizza Paprika (5/5)- This one was ordered by my friend. I tasted a slice, it was very hot and spicy. Being a spice lover, this one won my heart. Cheese was perfect, it was thin crusted and made on wood fire. If you are going out for a friends evening then this is the Pizza to try.Ā

2. Bombay Pizza (5/5)-Ā Again, this one was ordered by me. Mushrooms, mushrooms and a lot of them. Thin crust, wood fired and spicy taste. This one comes with cottage cheese and mozzarella. I would want them to introduce a variety with cheese buffalo. In any case, this one is my list for evening with friends along with Pizza Paprika.Ā

Dessert:

1. Chocolate Bomb (4/5)- Chocolate Lava cake was served with vanilla ice-cream. The cake was spongy and chocolate lava was oozing taste!

.

2.Vanilla Butterscotch Gelato (5/5)-Ā I love vanilla ice-cream, I love butterscotch. I got this variety at Little Italy, labeled G-9. This one is the dessert you cannot miss. Donā€™t think anything just shut your eyes and order this one.

.

4. Tiramisu (4/5)-Ā It was really good in taste. Coffee and rum blended well. However, presentation was a little plain.Ā

So, my verdict is that if you are thinking of going Italian for lunch or dinner then think of Little Italy. If you are pure veg and tired of regular worn out options then again think of Little Italy Juhu. High price but huge portions to fill your stomach. Taste mein Italian, service mein Indian. Awesome, combination!!
