Everytime i visit a friends house at marine lines, i have to order from liberty.
Liberty has an extensive menu but the best thing to order is chicken lollipop, chilly chicken and egg fried rice.
The ambience is not very posh.
But customer service excellent.

Very bad food... i orderd chicken biriyani and dey served plain rice without any masala nd chicken curry.... tasteless and it felt like having rice and curry.... salad which they given as side dish also not good....

In the mood for some Mangalorean food, we zeroed in on a small place in the bylanes of Marine Lines. The Liberty Lunch Home. A decently clean place tucked away in Wellington street, adjacent to the Sassanian Bakery.
Straight away we asked for Bombil Fry, which were so crispy and melt-in-the-mouth, batter fried, that we ordered one more plate.
Next came the Masala Fry Prawns... This turned out to be medium sized prawns in a thick gravy... typically Mangalorean masala... unlike what we expected to be a dry starter... But it was yummmm 😋👌
The next is my all time favourite Mutton Sukka... Absolutely yummmmmy.... Mutton cooked in dry grated coconut red curry-paste tempered with curry leaves and spices😍👌👌👌😃had it all with soft chapatis...they served a very deliciously tangy rassa and Sol Kadhi complimentary. Wish the chapatis and the sukka was served hot 😔anyway it was a VFM meal @Rs 593/-.

Loved the chicken biryani out there but as per the pricing the quantity seemed a bit less. Other than that the staff was helpful. Will surely visit again when I'm around that side. Nandini Mehta
This place has a vast range of recipes available in their menu and the sea food is amazing. The price is quite cheap and the food is fantastic. The Kohliwada Prawns and the Tandoori Chicken is a must try.

I regularly order from Liberty Lunch Home. First of all, food is really good in taste. Their chinese food taste is awesome. Plus, they give good quantity too. I ordered Paneer Triple Rice. So I received good quantity of schezwan rice plus 1 full bowl of paneer in gravy. Panner so so soft, yummmyyyyyy.....There were paneer pieces in rice also. And also yummy crispy fried noodles with dark soya sauce sachet & red chilly sauce sachet too. Zomato always gives good deals and fast delivery. I would request if restaurant gives paper plate & spoon if possible. I recommend this place to food lovers like me who love all type of cuisine. This place definitely pocket friendly too.. Lolz...

Every year kashish film festival happens in liberty and I come to liberty lunch home to eat everyday in the whole festival. I feel so nice here in liberty feels like a family. They have nice ambiance and pretty good staff and servicing.
Trust me it is worth a 10 stars, it's my regular place with family, you name it and they have it , Chicken Mangalore sukkah, Chicken crispy , surmai fry is the most common food eaten here, good thalis also available, very good staff, even Chinese food is worth a eat . Nothing is as heartwarming as the dal khicdi from this restaurant. It’s just like your mother‘s haath ka khaana. 🧡 Love most of their paneer curries too!
Decent small restaurant located at marine lines serving seafood and Indian food. I tried chicken thali suitable for one person. It has chicken curry cooked in manglorean style, chicken sukkha and vegetable well cooked. Steaming hot thali at the best price. Must order seafood bombay duck rava fry crispy and fresh. Do give this restaurant a try if you are near by metro marine lines.

Was trying to be adventurous and ordered lunch from unknown place, called liberty lunch home. Ordered Paneer Biryani from them. Being a hard core non veg, was skeptical on the quality and quantity. Quantity wise, the food the enough to feed one person. A side dish of Chole came along with the biryani, added flavor to the biryani. The first bite usually grabs my attention, and that is what happened in this case, found the biryani surprisingly good and tasty. This is now my new “restaurant to order lunch from” place
The crispy chicken is the best dish! I tried many more things like chapatis, mughlai chicken, chilli chicken, etc but till date crispy chicken is no.1 in my list❤️ also ordered many a times now!

Serves pretty authentic Mangaloreian food. More Mangaloreian dishes can be added though in the menu rather than focusing on north India and Chinese as well.
The chicken gravy in chicken neer dosa can be improved.
Excellent food. No matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Cost efficient. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in South Bombay

Amazing manglore food. If you are a sea food fan then this is a must visit place. Must try their fry fish. They have almost all popular fishes. But crab are not there on their menu. Ambience is not good. Place is also small but their food makes up for that. Have a great time there.
One of the few good eateries around Dhobi Talao. Chinese and North Indian food is great! I always receive details about the food I’m ordering and delivery is also quick!

One word for food here Excellent. All the fish menu is excellent. Pocket friendly and tasty. Staff here is very very helpful and know the menu and portion very well. Must try the fish thali here. Siphli and neer dosa are too good. Heaven for fish lover. Place is small and embience is ok. But seating are comfortable. Must try food here

Liberty Lunch Home is an old and popular restaurant located in Marine Lines area. They are known for their South Indian cuisine dishes. I decided to pick up their Chicken Thali as I was passing by the same area during the lockdown period. They took 20 minutes to get my parcel ready.

The Chicken Thali consisted of Chicken Sukka, Chicken Masala Gravy, Coccinia Grandis Masala, Rice, Solkadi, Papad & 3 Chapatis. Portion wise, each element has very small serving and this entire thali was sufficient for one adult. Chicken Sukha was spicy and had a typical Manglorean taste. Coccinia Grandia Sabzi was very delicious. Chicken Masala was spicy and worked well with rice. The only element where the portion size was generous was the steam rice. Solkadi was a good drink to end the meal. Overall, this thali was good for one time try and I was happy with the overall taste of all the elements. I will try their seafood dishes in my next order.
