I am a regular customer. I enjoy breakfast either burji or keema which are my favourite breakfast items. Cheap, hygienic, delicious. Though the place is small the place is worth visiting for those who love non veg food. As far as veg food is concerned I have no idea.

I always have lunch here when i am at work. Food is good. Price is low so one can eat below 100rs. Non veg is good. Never tasted veg so no comments on veg items. Nr to railway station. Sitting place is minimal..

This is a no frills eatery with simple delicious food and at very cheap prices too. Their mutton dabba gosht is simply too good and is one of my favourite takeaway dishes from this place. Their kheema pav is great too. Their tea is very good with bun maska (butter) as well.

Its a very good place for morning breakfast to lunch to dinner it has both veg as well as nonveg. I visit here with my family regularly the best dish in nonveg is keema which u will get in morning as well as in evening. U can visit here with ur wife, gf, or family it has the best biryani it is near the railway station n the best is chicken do pyaza. In veg the tomato shev bhaji omg it is soo yummy that i cant explain n the last one is sulemani chai with lemon

One of the best places in Mahim to get a filling meal without a dent on your wallet. Go to place for XIE folk. The food is delicious, portions are worth the price you pay and service is lightening fast. Recommendations: Anything chicken and mutton, especially the biryani. The vegetarian options are nothing exceptional but again you don't go to Cafe Noorani to order vegetarian. The atmosphere is no frills, you order, you eat, pay and go.

It's a small but decent economic restaurant. This is an Irani restaurant. Some of the delicious dishes on the menu are kheema pav, omlet, biryani etc. The restaurant has just 6 tables indoor. It's located exactly opposite mahim station on the west.

Excellent place for an early morning bun omelette. Opens at 630 a.m. Good food and great service. Also very good tea.
Tejas Mhatre
The food is tasty and it's in low badget maybe it's pocket friendly restaurant
Sabiha Bare

An OK place to visit if you are in the area. The Chicken Tikka biriyani was good with good juicy chicken pieces, but considering the price, the ambience and the service, the overall experience was just average

Had recently ordered chicken pulao from this place.. lovely taste and very good quantity .. can easily serve 2. The pulao was not very oily and perfectly cooked. Must try chicken pulao ..
Two Mouths Full
Seeing a restaurant we have frequented for more than a decade and a half going down the drain makes us really sad. We loved the portion sizes but the flavour is what kept us coming back. Sadly over the last few years, we have noticed the flavour deteriorating. And what is really sad to note is that they don't care. Having tried almost everything here, from Chinese to Mughlai, we asked for the brain masala and chicken liver with a rumali roti and naan. Neither tasted like much, the masala for the brain needed to be cooked out properly. The liver was overdone. Not looking forward to going back.

Worst experience. Had ordered egg biryani, but it had chicken bone piece in it. On calling the restaurant, the person was so rude and arrogant. He was not at all apologetic. Instead just laughed it out saying, this happens, what's the big deal. If u order from here, some piece can always come, so it must have come by mistake. He also advised us not to order from his restaurant.
ABHINAYAA NAGARAJAN
I ordered egg biryani and I found chicken bone in that and when I called and informed the restaurant person was so rudely replying..he was not even apologizing instead he said you should have ordered from a veg restaurant. He have even suggested me not to order from this restaurant again. Arrogant reply.

After reading all the mixed reviews it was confusing for me to place the order.<br/><br/>Thanks to zomato for letting us take the risk of trying new restaurants.<br/><br/>Speaking about my order.. i placed order for Dal Ghosh.<br/><br/>Looking at the packing my excitement was lost photo attached..<br/><br/>Moving ahead to the taste of Dal Ghosh starting with the aroma wow.. taste superb.. quantity sufficient.. moving to best part is the mutton.. wow it was tendered soft and best pieces..<br/><br/>After my first order i rated this place 4 star but as i placed a second order for Mutton Dabba Ghost i was highly disappointed.. these guys dont know how to make this dish.<br/><br/>

i ordered chicken biryani from here. the packaging was in a plastic bag in khakhi paper bag. the quality was good. the masala was in good quantity. no raita was provided. only 3-4 cuts of onion and 1/4th lemon was sent. there were 4 medium size pieces of chicken. <br/>so average quantity quality and taste for its price.<br/>it was medium spicy.
Ipsita Mishra
The worst biryani ever had . No salt . Tasteless. No raita was there . Chicken pieces undercooked. Too too much spice..wasted my money. Please remove this dish from your menu. Never had worst than this.<br/><br/>
Latika Kargutkar (FoodieGirl)
I ordered butter chicken and butter paratha. Butter chicken's taste was good and nice texture and perfect spices. Thik gravy and quantity also good for 2-3 person.

Food was pathetic. quantity and quality was both poor.. ordered a butter chicken which quantity was half for a price of 200.. being a Muslim restaurant they should know how to cook biryani atleast. The egg biryani ordered was so bad..the masala was egg gravy.. will never ever order from here..

Pocket friendly restaurant at Mahim . Ordered Chicken Pulav and Afgani Chicken. I loved both of them . Both tasted very good , not extra spicy ( I don't like extra spicy food ) not too oily. They were just good . <br/>There were little problem with the Zomato App while I was ordering, so couldn't see my order was accepted by the restaurant or not . So I called up the restaurant without further delay as I was extremely hungry and the person who picked up my call was very helpful. Thought while I was calling my order through Zomato didn't reach them, but he said he will start preparing the food without delay .<br/>After sometime my Zomato App became Ok and I could see the delivery man was already on his way with my food. <br/>I am really thankful for this restaurant personnels gesture and suggestions.

We ordered the Egg Pulav and Mutton Dabba Ghosht. It was amazing!<br/>The food was warm and delicious, would definitely recommend for other customers.

Ordered the Mutton Dabba Gosht which I really love to have from here as it is very cheap at just Rs.100 and full of mutton pieces and the taste is great too. Their Kheema is okay. Tea is nice too. Ordered the Mutton Afghani and Mutton Biryani which was great too. Quick delivery and packed well, the flavours were good and the food very tasty.
Harshad Bastikar
The food quality was great. However, they took more that 90 mins to Deliver the food !! So.... ensure you plan your time and only then order food from them.
Davidashish Manchala
Awesome.. try dalghosht with chapati/biryani rice..<br/>This is my staple diet as I stay close by. <br/>The only problem is that its congested, but the food never disappoints me.

Good quality food with pocket friendly rates. It's just opposite to station. Friendly staff. Good for veg and awesome for non veg. Must try chicken Dana

Dhanaraj Jagtap
The place itself doesn't have great ambiance, but the food is tasty. Try out some of the selective dishes which this place is famous for such as the #ButterChicken and #VegKolapuri <br/>Rather then going to this place, one should order food at home. <br/>Rating : 2.5

One of the smallest restaurants located close to the station serving lip-smacking mughlai dishes..very congested..but the food is damn gud..the keema pav is a must try.

Cafe noorani among the best place to have authentic muglai and North Indian cuisine. Had knee a Pau and chicken Tikka Biryani. This place is very close to mahim station is one of the oldest places here . every one around here knows noorani as a regular tea joint too. Decent sittings good service though last night it was packed service was very good . pricing is super cheap. Kheema Pau was yummy but a bit oily Biryani was superb. Loved it.

My review is partial as just based on 2 veg items: Mix veg and veg Jaipuri, both very very cheap, less oily than the items you would get in similar outlets and neatly packed and sealed. Non veg options also are reasonably priced, so I might try to go again as I was satisfied by those two items which were fresh and really not greasy. i would recommend take out as it is surely not a very nice place for dine in, as it is quite small and old.

Been our hangout for mughlai food economical and awesome in taste. Try the paneer tikka masala (old gravy) butter naan and malai tikka yummy. Hasn't changed much though now they have better seats, it's cleaner and more waiters... Avg 250-350 per person. Has Location advantage and has not changed in taste.... can be tried.

In short review if you want is " Naam bade aur Darshan Khote " type of restro .I visited this place because i wanted to eat some good mughlai food but to my disapointment i visited this place . As no other mughlai restro was near by . This place is opposite to Haji Ali Dargah which is its only USP , the ambience is sad in both AC & Non AC sections . We ordered some Chicken dish worth Rs300 suggested by the waiter and Rotis , The size of the rotis is big though they dont have any taste it feels like eating rubber . The chicken dish we ordered only thing sufficient in the dish was red color which gave it bright red color . The chicken did not have any taste as in i could have written it was off taste but it had no taste literally which made me leave the restro half empty This place will never be visited by me . I'd rather have Mcd burger opposite to this restro than eating here.

Cafe Noorani, a quite old and famous restaurant near Haji Ali area is something of a Mecca for non-veg lovers. And you can't go wrong here, order anything, you are guaranteed to be satisfied. I've been there couple of times. Over the years, the great taste hasn't changed.<br/>Just in starters you are sure to be half full. Pieces are huge almost overwhelming. I haven't seen chicken portions that big in any starters anywhere. It isn't bad at all though, all the meats served here are fresh and succulent. Gravies taste heavenly. Tandoori roti is so soft and savory.<br/>Don't expect a great ambience. It's almost like an eatery. Simple furniture. It's all go and no show. Service is decent. Stuffing our mouths and satiating our souls with 2 starter dishes, 2 gravies costed us 300 per person in 3 people. Just amazing.<br/>Let's cut to the chase, if you are a non-veg lover you should not give this place a miss.

Authentic rich amazing muslim food..... Paranthas with any gravy you order is just the perfect combination. Biryaani as perfect as it can be and of course the mouth watering deserts specially Caramel custard is my favorite.

Just checked out this place as I had nowhere else to go. The keema pav is awesome. The biryani tasted a bit sour due to excess use of tomatoes and spices. The ambience is quite decent.

Had been here for breakfast some years back. Had kheema pav then which tasted very good. Also had bun maska with irani chai. Ambiance was decent and service was good. Me and my cousin had a nice time. A must try....

Biryani was not upto mark.. Rice wasn't cooked properly, too strong spices with excess of sourness.. Hygiene lacked a lot.. Waiters are ignorant.. There was nothing to like about this Cafe...

It was a bliss sitting there munching on to the juicy chicken pieces.. Yum!! <br/>Noorani has always had a special place in my itenary whenever has been to Haji Ali. Again today it was the same gush of taste that flooded my mouth.<br/>Its always a delight to be there.<br/><br/>Today's menu: chicken garlic kabab and hanky chicken sizzler and both were just yum. Service is also good.<br/><br/>Must go, atleast once..

Small place near Mahim station serving mainly non-veg dishes. Mutton afghani and roti and were decent, though I wish the dish wash less oily. Saw almost everyone drinking tea. I tried one for myself and it is very sweet (as if someone made tea with milkmaid-less the viscous part).

Ambience- small and old place near the mahim station. The place seems not renovated from long. Around 6 tables seating capacity.<br/>Food- the chicken and mutton dishes are famous and tasty too, a little spicy though. <br/>Many ppl were there for a cup of tea.<br/>I had chicken afgani with roti and it had a good not the best though.<br/>Price-very low in price compared to other restaurants.<br/>Parking- on ur own<br/>
Abdul Khadeer Mohammed
Worth for money and please try bheja fry there along with sitaphal cream..

Noorani was an once a week or more place for me for nearly a decade...<br/><br/>Despite being an eggetarian. (this is the restaurant i credit with giving me and through me my friends the venerable EFR, and its combination with indian gravies).<br/><br/>Infact it was the only Muslim Food joints that was regularly visited by vegetarians.... and deservedly so.....ideal location, great reasonably priced food, great rolls which would be kept ready to pick up as you finished your late night or even between hopping of clubs, lots of vegetarian options, Home Delivery.<br/><br/>What made this disctinction even more special was that it was the first among equals (shalimar, delhi darbar, persian darbar being the others).<br/><br/>Then suddenly for no apparent reason the vegetarian recipes were changed, and they digressed from their regular gravies (which were the same for non-veg and vegetarians) to a more mainstream "Shetty Punjabi" like taste ...for sometime even eggs left the roomali roti (blasphemy though the eggs are back and the roomalis are as soft as ever).<br/><br/>And probably in the interest of maintaining theyre own high standards the paneer dishes are now Rs200 each.<br/><br/>And the late night factor has expired like the rest of mumbais night life..<br/><br/>Yes the venerable EFR is as good as ever, the caramel custard and rumali rotis are as soft as ever...<br/><br/>But...<br/><br/>The Writing is On the Wall..<br/><br/>"Noorani isnt what is was once for the vegetarian/eggetarians of South Mumbai and probably never will be again"...<br/><br/>A combination of "ifs.., buts.... and Ands " has ensured that.<br/><br/>Its 750 for 2 eggetarians.
