Review Bougenvilla Kitchen And Bar - Mumbai

New Place Alert! Bougenvilla Kitchen & Bar opened a couple of months back at Khar West. Striking distance away from Khar Railway Station, the place is quite easily accessible. This place serves Continental, Italian, American, European and Indian cuisine. Bougenvilla has an indoor as well as an outdoor seating section. The outdoor section is beautifully light and should be a good option once the summers are over! The indoor section has ground + 1 level seating section. Nice and vibrant ambiance with some good music! The head of staff was helpful however the rest of them need some more training. Heading straight to the variety of dishes that we ordered here - We started with soup - Smoked Tomato & Basil Tea. I personally love the smoked flavor so just loved this soup. It is served with bread sticks and corn. Must try! Moving on from soup to appetizers, we first tried the Choux Poppers! Crunchy Balls filled with Cheese, Jalapenos and Potato! Next we tried the Mushroom Dolmas. Nicely presentation! They were cheese and spiced duxelles, curry leaf pesto. Mushroom lovers can try this! You need to try these when they are hot / warm. After this we tried the Tandoori Cottage Cheese Roulade! Cottage Cheese served to us in a form of rolls with yellow capsicum! Paneer was fresh indeed! My personal favorite amongst the three starters that I tried at Bougenvilla! Had heard a lot about the drinks at Bougenvilla, so I decided to try few of their signature mocktails. We tried and loved all of them - Plum & Cranberry Cooler,Tamarind Chaat (Chat), Creame Kiwi and Anarkali. My preference would be as per the above order,  but you can pick and choose the drinks basis their ingredients. Plum and Cranberry Cooler - as the name suggests Fresh Plum and Cranberry (love cranberry, my personal favorite) Anarkali - Fresh Peach, Basil, Ginger Ale and Lime Juice (served in an glass with a face of a man from ancient era, ugly looking glass for me, honestly) Creame Kiwi - Fresh Kiwi, Apple Juice and Cream (apple slices for garnish) Tamarind Chat - Apple Juice, Tamarind Honey and Lime (unique drink, and they have rock salt and chat masala on the tip of the glass) Moving to the mains, we ordered for a pizza and an Indian dish. Bougenvilla serves their Pizza as a 9 (nine) Inch Thick Crust Pizza! Vegetarians who prefer Mushrooms should go for their Mushroom Pate, Sundried Tomatoes Pizza with Veggies on top like Asparagus, Zucchini and Kalamata Olives toppings. Please note, they put fresh mushrooms and not button mushrooms, so that flavor can be overwhelming! Those who prefer something else can also go for their Grilled Pesto Paneer Pickle with Artichoke, Onion, Bell Pepper and Goat Cheese. From the Indian cuisine, we ordered the Kake De Makhanwala. It is a meal combo that you get, where Paneer Makhanwala (veg curry) is served with Naan and Rice. I personally loved the dish and for me it was the stand-out dish for the evening! Finally we ended our meal with a dessert - the Chocolate Chip Brownie served with Vanilla Ice-Cream! Honestly, the brownie wasn't up to the mark and was a let down after the amazing main course Indian dish that we had! Brownie wasn't warm enough and the brownie was quite hard. Felt it wasn't as fresh as it should be. But I am sure, they can work on this and come back with a better serving the next time! Overall, a decent experience in terms of food and service with some areas to improve, but impressed with the ambience, mocktails and music played that night! P.S. they were playing covers of all the popular English songs, which was fun!

Bougenvilla kitchen & bar is a new restaurant alert on 5th road Khar.Its around 100 mtrs walking distrance from Khar railway station.They serve Continental,European,Indian cuisine. Bougenvilla has an alfresco outdoor non-ac seating as well as indoor a-c seating with few tables on level 1 as well.I personally loved the indoor decor specially the way they have used flowers on the wall.It looks so classy and elegant.Their bar section is indoors and bartendor is awesome with preparing some really good drinks.Staff service was polite and courteous but i felt few of their staff members required some professional training. Coming to the variety of dishes i tried here Non alcoholic drinks Anarkali -Served in a fancy looking glass.Fresh peach basil,ginger and lime juice used in preparation of this drink. Creame kiwi - Very refreshing drink.It had fresh kiwi,apple juice and cream in it. Tamarind chat -My personal favourite of all drinks i tried here. It had a tangy flavour .Tamarind honey,rock salt,chat masala,lime used in preparation of this drink. Highly recommended !! Plum & cranberry cooler-Perfect drink for summers .Fresh plum & cranberry used in preparation of this mocktail. All the drinks were well prepared. I enjoyed all of them Soup - Smoked Tomato & Basil Tea -Fresh and warm soup.The smoke gave a boost to the flavour of basil and tangy tomatoes.Served with charred corn and sticks.Its something unique and different .Definitely worth trying!!! Starters Mushroom Dolmas -Star starter of this place for me.Its a greek dish.Cheese and spice duxelle in a curry leaf pesto Choux poppers -Crunchy starter preparation.Cheese,jalapenos used in preparation of this starter.A nice option to munch. Tandoori cottage cheese roulade-A nicely served dish in form of roll from pieces of cottage cheese with soft fillings and rolled up along with some capsicum Pizza-A thick crust 9 inch pizza with Mushroom pate,sundried tomatoes ,asparagus ,zucchini and kalamata olives toppings .Extremely delicious and must try Main course dish Kake de makhanwala -A meal in itself .It consists of paneer makhani,naan and rice with some pickle. We discovered this place by chance on Zomato and decided to give it a try on the same day itself. Thankfully, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. It has recently opened and they have great offers on food and drinks. We opted for the happy hour option for an individual, wherein they serve unlimited drinks (blenders as wiskey in the 875 option and teachers highland in the second one) and starters (menu pic attached) to go with it for a duration of two hours. Cocktails/mocktails/cold drinks all unlimited. Suffice to say, we had a blast. They also have a la carte options. Drinks are relatively, reasonably priced and food dishes are slightly on the higher side. Nonetheless, a great place to try out and revisit again. Overall, place is nice and hygenic. Do give it a try.

We had a fantastic lunch here today. It's not easy to find high quality food even in some "expensive" places in Bombay. Bougenvilla had beautifully plated, flavourful, carefully made, non-greasy food. Good service too.

Nice place to visit with friends and family.the quality of food and drinks are really awesome. The place is also very decent and specially their service is very nice .the dressing of food which they do is adorable and testy as well. Talking about place in my version place is very nice with good music and good staff behaviour as well place is spacious. I really enjoyed the restaurant ❤️.

We were warmly welcomed to this beautiful place by mr Deepesh and he walked us through the menu. This place is a cute restrobar located at Khar. We visited this place in evening and it looked beautiful.They have indoor and out door seating area. They have good music and its not so loud. The place is well lit and they have goo variety of food. Bougenvilla flowers are wildly grown usually bright fuschia & white in colour which are instant mood lifters being a visual delight . Bougenvilla Cafe proves true to its name in every respect of the word . Located a stone throw away from Khar station , this cafe give you a slice of Hawaii right here Mumbai . Divided in a level one for private parties , ground level having a mini bar & an alfresco section . Pristine white & florals colour scheme is a refreshing change as compared to the dull woody & rustic interiors of regular restaurants & lounges . The servers wear cheerful white floral shirts with colourful bougenvilla flowers printed on them which is very unique & welcoming . Also the couch seating has floral prints along with floral wall decor . I simply loved the ambiance where a person feels completely relaxed & stress free . The food , drinks & desserts score full marks as far as plating , presentation , originality , taste , balance , innovation , service , crockery , portion size & pricing are concerned . The servers take Excellent care of the guests & ensure they are very well taken care off . I tried the mushroom dolmas , choux poppers , sorrentino style baked vegetables , kake dal makhanwala , 3 layered cheesecake & lemon grass creme brulee. All the items have a distinct identity being freshly made with top noch quality ingredients . I thououghy enjoyed each & every item & highly recommend you definity give this restaurant a shot .

A new cool place in Khar Sept 8 dinner: This is a new place discovered through Zomato Gold. The place is quite chic in terms of the exterior as well as the interiors - exposed brick walls, wrought iron chairs, wooden tables, plush leather sofas. The food is quite good and some of the must have dishes are the mushroom dolmas, cottage cheese casaunga. The makhni chicken turned out to be spicy and a bit chewy - it was replaced by the restaurant and the replaced chicken was not spicy and tender. Tandoori c ottage cheese roulade was another good dish. The service was good and we had a good time with some delicious food and drinks

A small place situated at the corner of road no 5 in Khar, it's a must visit place..I loved The ambience as well as the food..The food was fresh and the flavours right in place.The pineapple drink with kaffir leaves was really good .not to forget the staff was very friendly and suggested good dishes..A lovely evening spent with my better half.

The first time I went to this place was only because it offered Zomato Gold on food, but little did I know that I would be a regular here. This quaint little place in Khar is best for a family lunch as well as for an evening hangout with friends.<br/>The food is good (though limited), drinks are reasonably priced, staff is courteous and overall ambience is a win-win.<br/><br/>Already planning my next visit here!

The tasteful ambience is perfectly matched by the amazing food and the presentation of the food served coupled with the friendly staff and service make this a wonderful and worthwhile experience. Some notable dishes from my many visits to this place are the chicken skewers and the risotto cooked to perfection, they added the extra effort needed to turn a normal dish into something I’d definitely recommend to other people and something I would personally eat again. Another mention worthy dish was the cottage cheese roulade, it’s creamy texture made all our mouths water and it’s taste was extremely delicious. <br/>I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

We happened to discover this place will browsing through Zomato and decided to go there for Sunday dinner. It is located in the busiest lane of Khar where Khar Social, Rasta and Hoppipola are located. Based on the reviews and photos, we decided to give it a shot. But we were highly disappointed. They have two sections and ambience wise outside section looked more appealing. However many things did not go down well with us:<br/>1. Menu did not have too many options. Plus it was a normal printout. They didn’t even spend money to put it all together in a formal menu.<br/>2. Outside section came with mosquitos. They had mosquito repellent coils around but that was not helping keeping the mosquitoes away and in fact it’s smell was making us sick.<br/>3. Their staff wasn't much aware of the food options for recommendations.<br/>4. The food was very very okay. <br/><br/>We called for two starters which was like the most common things you would not expect a restaurant to go wrong with.<br/>▪️Paneer tikka - Paneer was not very soft and the marination did not add any taste. It was somewhat bland. <br/>▪️Crispy veg - It had broccoli, zucchini along with the regular veggies deep fried and tossed in soy sauce. It was better than paneer but very oily and overdose of garlic.<br/><br/>Overall we were quite disappointed with our experience here and would not recommend it. We would rather eat a roadside sandwich and be satisfied.

Been wanting to go for a while and decided to go one Saturday afternoon. We were early so no issues getting seated. The food was good as was the service. However the music was way too loud for an afternoon which they did turn down when requested.

Not the best experience. The pasta had too much pesto sauce and came with no bread. Service was delayed by an hour. My friends waited longer than me to get their meals.

TERRIBLE experience. The alcoholic beverages were substituted with cheap alternatives. We ordered a baileys and they gave us a Nescafé sachet mixed with milk - and we caught them red handed! To top that- the obnoxious lying bartender took forever to admit it despite the clear evidence. Finally got the manager to intervene but such a waste of time. Ruined our evening. Never again.

CHEATERS MUST NOT BE SPARED! Never go to this place! The basic rule of hospitality is respecting your customer and serving what they have ordered with complete honesty. We were out for a meal with the family to celebrate my brothers birthday. Excited to be visiting the newly opened restaurant for the first time we were very generous in our order. We asked for a baileys for my wife on the rocks, which took about 20mins which was a little odd but I let it go. Two servers confidently walked with the drinks order for the table including a martini glass with crushed ice and a shot glass with “what they called” was a large Baileys. It was served and I looked at the Color which seemed suspicious so before my wife could have a sip I insisted to try it out. To my utter shock it was overly sweet and there was no alcohol whatsoever. On taking an additional sip the taste felt familiar - it was none other than a Nescafé Cappuccino Pre-mix. Let me say this again it was a shot of cold milk in Nescafé Cappuccino Pre-mix from the Sachet. <br/><br/>I brought this to the attention of the servers and walked up to the bartender to investigate this. I requested the man behind the bar to try the drink they served from the martini glass. While the server looked for the original baileys bottle, which I asked him for. He claimed that he couldn’t find the bottle and I spotted the same in the fridge and asked for the same. We poured the contents into a shot glass and it was what baileys should be like. I asked the bartender to try the new drink and he affirmed that this was potent and the correct drink. <br/><br/>By now I was fuming, but wanted to withhold my anger and maintain some decorum, in front of the family. I firmly requested the server to call the bartender who had made the drink and the manager of the restaurant. For some reason this called for another 15mins for them to turn upto our table. The Manager, realised the tense situation as he approached us. I asked him to try the two separate drinks placed on the table 1) the original Fake Drink in the Martini Glass and 2) the original Baileys I had poured from the bottle in a shot glass. Upon tasting he agreed that the two drinks were different. He went on to accept that a mistake had happened on their part. For me this is not a mistake. They CHEATED their customer by serving cold coffee instead of the drink asked for. 10mins into this conversation the bartender arrives to the scene, apologising claiming that this was “home-made BAILEYS”! <br/><br/>What! WTF is home-made BAILEYS? I was shocked that the bartender had the Gaul of lying to my face after being caught red handed. I have decided to register a police complain against the restaurant. <br/><br/>My brothers birthday was messed up and we left the restaurant immediately after only to head to a place close by as we were tired and famished by this time.

Horrible service and staff. Very rude staff full of attitude. Worst experience. 😡Will never recommend to anyone. Non of the staff member had manners to even apologies.

Had gone for Lunch kitty today after reading some good reviews on Zomato, but, bot food and service were pathetic.<br/>Menu does not have much variety and out of that too some items were not available.<br/>Once the order was placed, it took ages to be served.<br/>Personally I dis not like the presentation.<br/>Chicken items served were not cooked well and fish was stale.<br/>From quiet a few dessert options, only 1 dessert was available.<br/>Will sure bot recommend this place to anyone !!!

I had come to this place with high expectations. I left with high dissatisfaction... I had to wait for my food for over an hour and the staff after half an hour informed me that everything I have ordered is out of stock. The ambience was filled with dissatisfied customers.. I don't recommend this so called restaurant. Please save yourself of this torture.

I called them today itself at 12.30 pm and asked if their brunch offer with alcohol is on, they said it's on and I reached there with 8 of my friends at 1.15 pm , they said the offer has been SUDDENLY called off. Spoilt our plan completely. I say if you can't afford it don't market it. So everyone, don't trust their Brunch offers and land up, they are clearly lying.<br/>

Tucked away in a little corner near Khar station.<br/>Bougenvilla was a pleasant surpise, it looks quite small compared to the scale that the photos suggest. The food was good and so was the service. We tried all the salads they had on offer and the Turkish salad was probably the most delightful. The biggest let down was the decor, at least in outside section.Dirty upholstery, stained fabrics got us wondering about the overall hygiene of the place, especially since Zomato’s food hygiene ratex it at good. <br/>Overall, it’s hard t summarise the experience here. Yes, the food was good, the service was also good, but there wasn’t anything memorable!

Came here with a group of 16 ppl after reserving a table. While ordering we were told that many items on the menu were not available (many beers, whiskey, food items etc), given there was a large gathering earlier in the day! Why would you accept our booking then! Could have informed us at the outset and we could have looked for a different venue. The quality of the food was also just average (with minimalistic quantity, of course!), despite the restaurant not being full.<br/>

Pathetic service.. rude staff.. portion size is for kids looks like.. on a Sunday evening for a booking of 16 ppl they hardly had anything on d menu.. it looked like we went to eat what the restaurant wants to serve us and not wat we want to have

Visited Bougenvilla on a Thursday night with a bunch of friends. It has an indoor as well as an outdoor seating area. We ordered the Cajun Potatoes, Mushroom Dolmas, Penne pasta, a veg pizza and biryani, and accompanied it with Sula Rosé Zinfandel. Great food, lovely ambience. The servers were friendly too, and we got an ice cream on the house. Definitely recommend!

We had been passing by bougenvilla quite often over the past few months and finally we decided to kill the curiosity. Loved the white, grey and black interiors. The sofas are very comfy. The overall vibe you get here is that you can spend hours hanging out here over their elaborate drinks menu and a very thought out and very creative food menu. Since we were here for the first time, we decided to go for the buffet. That way we got to sample a lot more dishes. The chicken satay was yum. The chicken seekh kabab was soft, melt in mouth stuff. The Cajun potatoes were crisp and quite delectable. We loved the pink penne pasta. But the Hakka noodles with the chicken in Hunan sauce were the perfect combination for our main course. The Asian salad and the Caesar salad were strictly ok. The desserts were a good way to sign off. The malai kulfi and the brownie were nice. The best part here was the presentation of all the dishes... along with the differently shaped plates they were served on. Also the steward really looked after us well. We are coming back very soon

Situated just outside Khar station, this place is another gem added on the list of Khar!<br/>Spending a weekend here was one of the fun dinner time!<br/>Totally loved the food especially the one's suggested by the staff. Starting with mushroom dolmas we went totally drooling over the platter and couldn't stop but order some other delicious starter, so we called for cajun potatoes. As suggested by the staff tandori cottage cheese roulade was yet another tasty option.<br/><br/>Food was absolutely amazing but what made the evening more enjoyable were their signature cocktails Davil Apples and Bougen Hangover were at their best and Anarkali a mocktail very well added a refreshing touch to the eve!!<br/><br/>A really nice place to hangout with both friends and family, enjoy the live matches and the breeze in the open air sitting which is very well maintained too!

Bougainvilla Kitchen & Bar is located a few minutes away from Khar station and in the same lane as some of the well-known bars - Khar Social, Raasta and Hoppipola. This place is divided into 2 sections – an outdoor area as well as an indoor section on the ground and first floor.<br/><br/>The place is well lit and has a certain calmness to it. Most of their furniture is white or wooden and they also have beautiful flowers placed on the walls. They even have a bar which is well stocked. The music was playing softly in the background and they had a good collection of songs. However, the service was disappointing. The main course took really long to arrive and the staff members weren’t very attentive or helpful. We had to call out to them every time we wanted to place an order and sometimes even had to repeat our orders because they hadn’t arrived yet. Was pretty disappointed with the overall service.<br/><br/>Moving on to the food and drinks, we tried a couple of them. Here’s the brief:<br/><br/>1) Bougen Coconut Water – A strong concoction of white rum, Malibu, coconut milk and coconut water that is quite soothing. Liked the hit of coconut in every sip. Must try if you like coconut.<br/><br/>2) Bougen Refresher – A mocktail made up of orange and pineapple juice, basil, kaffir lime and apple puree. This mocktail was absolutely refreshing and we loved the hint of kaffir lime. LOVED IT. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>3) Insalata Pollo Ala Amalfi – A salad made out of arugula, wine poached shallots, prunes, feta and beetroot reduction. The salad had a generous amount of arugula, however, there was no feta or prunes in it. Disappointed.<br/><br/>4) Mushroom Dolmas – Spiced duxelles filled with cheese and served with a curry leaf pesto. The mushrooms were soft and melted in the mouth. DELICIOUS. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>5) Choux Poppers – Deep-fried spheres filled with gooey cheese and jalapenos. It also had a berry chilli sauce at the side. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Tasted really good.<br/><br/>6) Cajun Potatoes – Fried baby potatoes tossed in Cajun herbs, Bougan dust and served alongside a herbed aioli. Tasted good, pairs well with those drinks.<br/><br/>7) Pan Fried Harissa Lamb Chops – Tender Lamb chops generously tossed in masala. Loved the spice and masala on this appetizer. A must try. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>8) Kashmiri Mutton Rogan Josh – An entire meal in itself with a generous serving of mutton rogan josh, cumin rice and naan. The mutton rogan josh gravy was rich, aromatic and totally drool-worthy. Would be a crime to miss. Highly recommended.<br/><br/>9) Chocolate Chip Brownie – With the lack of other dessert options, we went in for this brownie. Brownie was warm, however slightly hard on the top. Tasted average.<br/><br/>On the whole, the food was quite delicious, however, service definitely needs to be looked into.

I had the tenderloin minute steak and burnt chilli soy glazed spare ribs. Both excellent dishes. Steak was tender and juicy while the ribs were falling off the bone.

We friends visited this place for Sunday brunch. We were served appetizers which were really good though they were very slow in serving. There was this burnt garlic fish which we liked n ordered a second round ,but were told that it's over so we tried compromising with fish tikka for which we got the same reply,this was really annoying coz in brunches n buffets they can't run short so soon n the service was extremely slow. Need to improve on the service.

My favourite place in Khar .. Great food even if the chef changed. I guess they know to keep up their standards. Tried the tandoori paneer last night and it was out of this world. As usual great service by Dinesh who is always willing to go that extra mile to serve and take feedback on him and the food served.

We tried both the veg pizza options (yeah, there's only 2!). They need some more items on the menu, but we liked what we ordered. Portion-wise, 1 dish is enough for just 1 person, so order accordingly.

Terrible! The music is loud enough for the servers not to take the order properly. Had to repeat the order 5 times to make it right. It took them 45 minutes to get the order after repeatedly asking for it. Time and again the server was informed this is vegetarian only table, still in the end we were served chicken pasta. We asked the server to take it back, he had the audacity to tell us it was on the house, eat it! The manager then comes and tells us to eat the same thing again!

The service was terrible. Despite us mentioning we are vegetarian five times, they served us chicken and told us it's on the house so eat it even though we clarified we ordered Vegetarian. And refused to take it back. I would recommend they improve their customer service and understand that vegetarians can't eat meat. Would not recommend going here.

Been there for a afternoon lunch and to our surprise they were serving buffet @ 515 including taxes. Wow!!!! And the food was pretty good. Appetizers were chicken tikka, chicken popcorn and chicken satay. All three were good. And house could ask for more if required.<br/>Freshlime soda and ice teas were unlimited.<br/>Main course had chicken biryani, butter chicken, and chicken Thai curry. The Biryani and butter chicken were too good and nice flavours. Red Thai curry lacked flavours to tickle my taste buds. Rest food service ambiance everything was spot on.<br/>Dessert was 1 chocolate pastry and chocolate mousse. I think an ice-cream should have been a part of the buffet. Or may be it could have been given on demand which we didn't know.<br/>Overall a good place to hangout.

I was here with my friends , I’m really impressed with the place . The ambience is great , the service is great and the food surely is . I had the char grilled spiced chicken lollipops, chicken biryani , oven roasted chicken and grilled chicken sausage anna potato and calamata olives pizza . The quality of the food was very impressive and the portions were good too . Also they do serve alcohol if you wish to drink , and they have one plus one on food via Zomato gold . Not recommended place. Staff is nice and sweet but the food is highly okay. Also the location of the place kill the vibe. Visited on a Friday nigh but was extremely dull

This is a relatively new spot in Khar. It has lovely decor, good music and a very chill vibe. We had gone there for the Saturday lunch buffet. They had a limited dishes but they were really good. <br/>Even the cocktails were made really well.<br/>A must visit. This place doesn’t disappoint.

I was pleasantly surprised by the menu here. They have a varied menu which I also took the time to test out. I ordered a mutton Rogan Josh but also a prawn Thai curry. Both tasted spectacular. Their Risottos are decent. But I would highly recommend you try the mutton and the Thai curry. Their staff is very courteous and even went out of the way and kept my friends phone aside who had forgotten it at another table when we went out for a smoke and then asked us if the phone belonged to someone in our group. Over all had a great experience. They have a really good option for lunch buffets during the week which also looked very tempting after seeing the price of just 499. I liked the food enough to come and give the buffet a try one day.

This place is like a year old n I was surprised to not know of this place, even though I stay in same vicinity , till I searched for places on Zomato gold.. It was 1-1 on food the time I visited this place n drinks were relatively very cheap compared to now .. Place has very good decor, comfortable seatings n nice pleasant vibes.. We were here on weekday late eve n it was totally empty... We were greeted very nicely by staff.. They have seatings in AC as well as non ac section at ground level n there is one small ac area on mezzanine floor as well mainly used for private gathering.. The food menu option is limited but it has everything for all.. We started here with cajun potatoes n these cajun spice marinated potatoes, fried to perfection, tasted absolutely delicious but I would have loved it to be more crispy.. We then had tandoori cottage cheese roulade n it was very well made n Paneer were very well marinated in spices.. Paneer was butter soft n I loved every bite of it.. We also had shamiyam out here n it was totally disappointing one.. The yam kabab had burning smell in it n we had to return it back .. As we had ordered it late they could not replace this dish as kitchen was closed n as we had used Zomato gold while placing order for this one we were not given any waiver also .. One coming here should surely try andra style Dal pappu out here.. This extremely flavourful tomato Dal tasted very nice with steamed rice.. Dal was simply delicious,so yummy that one would love to have it even plain without rice or bread.. Steamed Rice served along was less compared to Dal quantity n it was not in appropriate ratio.. However do order this one for sure.. We wanted to try desserts out here but they did not have any eggless desserts out here, we were told that.. Service was good, staff were well behaved but I felt wait for some dishes was way too long.. Can understand preparing fresh food takes time but it should not exceed 20/25 mins.. Price wise its decent n with offers on drinks its good place to booze n have good time with ur partner or friends.. They also have unlimited drinks offers which is not bad.. we tried this resturent for rhe first time last night for the first time and the food was great,freshly cooked ,very tasty and well presented . the service person were attentive and service overall was good. In drink i ordered neutella choclate shake ( which contains nuetella ,choclate,cookie ,milk and fresh cream)and which was really tasty, devil angel ( carnberry juice,fresh water melon,passion fruit and cream) and it was quite refreshing ,tamarind chat and it was little spicy and something new for me and the last drinks was bougen refresher (it was mixer of orange and pineapple juice) and it was sweet and chilled. i too tried salad and its name was turkish kisir and was very nice . In starter i ordered mushroom dolmas, and in veg it was outstanding ,bougen prawns (this the best prawn i have ever tasted) , nibbles barbaque chicken wings and it was really juicy and tasty.In main course i ordered chicken biryani .the container in which biryani was presented was awesome . the papad ans the raita was mouth watering . you should visit this place .<br/>

An amazing experience for a very cosy & neatly done up place with lovely interiors at Khar West.<br/>Started the evening with Plum & Cranberry cooler & Anarkali in the Non Alcoholic cocktails.<br/>Following which the soup we had was Pepper Chicken water which was simply too good with rice noodles & spiced chicken & Bougen Prawns which was their signature dish well recommended.<br/>Tenderloin Minute Steak with spinach is a must have which was followed by Chicken & Wild Mushroom Risotto which comes again in the must try category for Bougenvilla Kitchen and Bar.<br/>The Three layered cheese cake was really melt in the mouth experience & yummylicious.<br/>The music was good with some nice numbers for the ears.<br/>Overall a very good experience & a highly recommended place for a good night spent out.<br/>

I went there on a Monday evening, and it was a great experience. The staff was very polite and the service was great. Their mocktails are colourful and delicious. And so was their Nutella shake. We tried the fries and chicken popcorn, both which I could not stop munching on. Their barbeque chicken wings were delicious, not too sweet not too spicy! In the main course we had the butter chicken and the zucchini crepe, both delectable. We were too full to try the dessert but look forward to trying that as well soon!

Lovely most cake, condensed milk well balanced with cream. Nothing gets better than a moist cake which is fresh. Just loved it.<br/><br/>Chocochip Brownie: Classic, Big piece of brownie with nuts, topped with rich vanilla ice cream. Lots of Chocolate sauce. We went saturday looking for dinner time. there is Newly opened Bougenvill kitchen and bar near by khar station. Ambiance is amazing the staff was polity and friendly. food was awesome. Drink manu is a reasonable the all stater and man course was served proper way. cocktail and mocktial are very nicely.. Finally me and my friend get lots of enjoy.. We loved this place. We must visit again and again..

Vsited Bougenvilla for the lunch buffet. Amazing and delicious food especially the mutton chops, Pepper chicken water, Southern tempered prawn potli, Spinach corn cigars, Prawn Thai curry and blueberry cheesecake.<br/>Excellent and fast service by the staff. The non alcoholic cocktails were a delight specially the Bougen Refresher and Nutella Chocolate Shake.<br/>Overall, the experience was phenomenal and refreshing. Hoping to visit the place again soon.<br/>

Visited this place on a Wednesday evening with @Nikhil Dongare, expected it to be a bit crowded. But alas it was not, just 3 tables including ours and that’s it... If I could give 100 stars for support & attention to detail I definitely would. You guys have top notch customer service, great ambience & amazing food. I think if anyone tries Bougenvilla, they won't search for any other ...EVER. Just amazing in every way you could possibly imagine. Server Akash was adorable and full of personality plus. Manager Rajesh was attentive and knowledgeable. They are the huge assest to your retraurant and deserves much kudos. We will definitely be back soon.<br/>Perfect work guys!

So i went here for lunch and was offered to choose between a buffet and a la carte menu. We opted for a buffet and were expecting to be guided to where we could choose what we would like on our plate. However, this was an unconventional buffet where we were served the buffet on our table. A lot of everything was served and a lot almost 80% was wasted and i felt very sad about that. The food was extremely ok and the service was supremely slow. I wouldn't go back there

We had great expectation when coming to this place but there was a huge disappointment. The place is a nice cozy one but the ambience while sitting out is very ordinary. We went with a veg and a non-veg buffet. We were pleased with the starters, they had fish fingers, and satay chicken which was nice and probably the only part of the meal I relished. The veg starters were ok. After that we had to wait for nearly 30 mins for the next course to arrive which is a big dampener. Even if it was nice my review would have been the same based on the service provided. The staff seemed nice but they just couldn’t provide the service we would expect from this place. The biryani was ok but the chicken makhani was very nice, but the gap between my starter amd getting to the chicken makhani was close to 45 mins. The service was a major let down. The staff need to be trained while waiting on the tables as well as the kitchen needs to provide the food at a better speed and the quality needs to be a lot better. Overall my experience here wasn’t great.

Bougenvilla kitchen and bar is a beautiful place where people can have a good time with family and friends..... I enjoyed many starters,the chicken pizza was delicious n yes the services there was very good. I even tasted many salads,soups they all very very tasty😊

We made a booking through eatigo, so we got 30% discount. The staff is friendly. The ambience is happening.<br/>I ordered Slow cooked scarmoza and mushroom stuffed chicken. It was accompanied with risotto and stir fried vegetables. The chicken was slightly overcooked and the sauce could have been better. Liked the risotto.<br/>You need to make prior reservation to avoid waiting.

Visited this place for lunch with a couple of friends. The place has a great ambience. They have an outdoor seating with 4-5 tables and an indoor AC section with about 6/7 tables. But ambience is not enough to be satisfied with any place. Their food was below average and service was terrible. It took a considerable amount of time for order to come. To top it off the waiters were not well versed with the menu and had to consult with some other waiter before giving us an answer.<br/>Thank God for Zomato Gold or else this place wouldn't have been worth the visit.<br/><br/>Ambience: 8/10<br/>Food: 4/10<br/>Value for money: 6/10 (only because of Gold)<br/>Service: 4/10<br/>

Extremely Average place. I am surprised it has been given a rating of 4.0 <br/><br/>Interiors are decent but I wish I could say the same for the food. <br/><br/>We tried : <br/>1) Nachos - 3.0/5 - The onion was overpowering the taste of the nachos <br/>2) Paneer Roulade - 1.0/5 - Extremely strange taste. The paneer wasn’t as fresh either. Completely Avoidable <br/><br/>Besides this we tried 2 Chicken starters, Oven roasted Chicken and and another Tikka... Both were below average. <br/><br/>The Cocktails were decent though... tried the Martini... <br/><br/>Didn’t have the heart to try the Mains <br/><br/>I hope they work on the food considering the menu is not as extensive. <br/>
