WHACKO TACO : located in versova, Andheri West serves the best Mexican food in town. It's heaven for all taco lovers. It's a small outlet with 3 to 4 tables. The place is nicely decorated with food quotes on the wall. The service is quick. The owner/ manager is polite. They serve amazing tacos, shakes, nachos, quesadilla, burritto bowl and wraps.. Coming to the food we had their CLASSIC BEANS TACO'S(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) those were the best taco's. They also have of hard shell and soft shell so we went with the hard shell and it was filled with beans, lettuce, sour cream, jalapenos and a layer of cheese on top of it. Beans were perfectly cooked and the sour cream was also put in perfect proportion. The other taco we tried was PANNER MAKHANI TACO'S (recommend).. again we went with the hard shell.. it had grilled panner, Tikka sauce, mint mayo, salsa sauce, and topped with a layer of sauce.. of you love panner and taco you should definitely go with this one.. panner was perfectly cooked and it was soft.. The other things we tried were Peri Peri fries (same as mcd) I just loved it.. and along with it we had Nutella shake which went well with Taco's and frries.. and we ended it with brownie with vanilla ice cream 😋. Definitely worth a try ♥️

Whacko Taco is based out in Versova, besides Naturals. It is a new venture which has been in business from last 5 months. It’s a small place having 5 tables but the food quality is superb. I ordered for the Following: Classic Beans & Cheese Tacos: This consisted of beans, jalapeño, sour cream, grated cheese. I order this as a soft Taco. It was wonderful in taste and probably better than the Chicken variant. Crispy Fried Chicken Tacos: Fried Chicken, tomato salsa, chipotle mayo and grated cheese. Classic Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla: This was very well made. The Quesadilla had a great portion of stuffing in it. Burritto: You can make your own Burritto as per your tastle. I selected Mexican Tomato Corn Rice, Grilled Paneer, Tomato Salsa, Makhani Sauce, Jalapeño Slices, Grated Cheese, Thousand Island Dressing. They have the option of Wrap or Bowl. I opted for the Bowl and it was simply wonderful. Perfectly matched the taste I was looking for and made my day. Nutella Shake: It tasted good but maybe could have been little more thicker. The ambience is good and the service is quick.

Food was really really good here. We started with Whacko taco special nachos. It was simply brilliant. It's their chefs signature dish.The nachos stayed crisp for a very very long; Portions were huge, toppings also plentiful. The cheese sauce was just superb, gave me a cheese high.The refried beans, tomato salsa and other toppings made this one brilliant dish. Then we had Classic chicken and cheese Quesadillas,my second favourite dish.The covering was super crispy, and filling was just melt in the mouth tasty.The next dish we had was Cheesy chicken Keema tacos.Tacos were very crispy, not soggy at all, and stayed crispy for a long time. I think their coverings are all baked, as there was absolutely no oily feeling. Taste wise, I preferred the other two dishes more. The green sauce in this had it a Minty spicy taste. Again it was loaded with fillings and lots of cheese.For Maincourse, we ate the Burrito bowl, with Mexican tomato corn rice, tempura prawns, maakhni sauce, and toppings of sour cream, iceberg lettuce and grated cheese.Loved the concept of choosing whatever you want in this dish;so you have like many options because of the permutations and combinations.Tempura prawns was crispy and fresh!For drinks, Oreo shake - taste wise it was nice, but needed to be a bit thicker, and needed to be blended well.Special mention to our server Arvind and chef Ajith. They were on their toes and really impressed us with their service and quality food.It was a tiny cute Mexican place.Definitely worth repeated visits!

Here's a cute little Mexican place serving some amazing food for a very reasonable price. These days everyone loves to snack and I'm sure you look for pocket friendly places with good food, well look no more. Whacko taco really impressed me with it's aesthetic ambience and cool quotes wall in such a small place. Really well made interiors with a seating for 10-12 people. They have some great offers also like unlimited tacos.. Etc. Coming to what I tried : 1. Nutella Shake (5/5)- INSANE! I honestly didn't expect it to be so good and well obviously it tasted like liquid Nutella but the best part was it was thick and the consistency and flavours were spot on for the price. Definitely must try. 2. Whacko taco special Nachos Veg (100000/5)- These are probably my new favourite nachos at such a good price. The quantity was more than enough for 2 people with oozing cheese sauce, beans, sour cream and nacho chips of 3 colours--green (spinach), red(beetroot) and the regular corn tortillas. I was HIGHLY IMPRESSED with these. Just order it. 3. Veg Potato Cheese Soft Shell Taco (5/5)- Again YUM. I liked soft shell taco better than hard shell one for two reasons - this was more cheesy, the potato shot and shredded cheese just made a perfect combo and the soft tortilla was much easier to eat. Must try. 4. Classic Mexican hard shell taco (5/5)- Loved the beans, minimal cheese and jalapeños. Really nice taste. True to the authentic tacos. 5. Burrito bowl (3/5)- Sadly this was a disaster because of my own choice. I chose the Mexican tomato corn rice along with cheese and chilli garlic sauce which is where the whole thing went wrong. The chilli garlic sauce was a Chinese sauce and it really made no sense mixing it and my server even prompted that its a Chinese sauce but I didn't pay heed to it so my bad completely. Do try this in any sauce except chilli garlic. Quantity was amazing. 6. Brownie with vanilla Icecream (5/5)- Walnut brownie with vanilla, classic yet amazing. Overall I was super satisfied with their concept. The tick menu made ordering much easier and convenient and the quick service was commendable. Special thanks to Arvind

Today after my meeting at Versova visited this place with my friend as was hungry and wanted to eat something cheesy & spicy so thought of this place it's little cute cafe quick service good food here we had... 1. Potato surprise Taco - it's soft base taco nice stuffing in it it was stuffed with fried potatoes, Cheese Tots, salsa, Chipotle & garnished with grated cheese tasted well nice served good quantity, it was served with few Nachos chips 2. Veg Special Nachos - nice quality of nachos topped with veggies more of cheese sour cream and salsa tasted well served with yellow and green nachos looking amazing tasted well 3. Veg Burrito - here u have options of make Ur own burrito you can choose base, dips & ingredients here I made fission burrito I choose Mexican corn tomato rice with potato cheese poppers as Protein in it with makhani sauce & cheese sauce with jalapeno slice, grated cheese & sour cream tasted very good nice quantity 4. Oreo Shake - was good Overall nice experience liked the food and quick service

It is a small joint located in Versova. They serve all things Italian! The ambience is decent. The place is small and has a small outdoor seating as well. We tried a few things here:<br/> ⁃ Potato surprise tacos: It had fried cheese potato tots along with tomato salsa, chipotle, Cheese and sour cream. Its was delicious and crispy. The potato tots were also delicious and added a good crisp to the tacos<br/> ⁃ Mushroom and Cheese Tacos: As the name suggests, it had grilled mushrooms,cheese, sour cream and salsa. I am not a big fan of mushroom but still I really enjoyed it a lot. Should give it a try<br/> ⁃ Burrito bowl: You can customise this with different options available to you. You can choose from base, Protein, toppings and sauce. We tried Mexican rice and corn rice with grilled panner,along with cheese and chilli garlic sauce. Amazing! I visited this place as I was looking for Mexican food in Versova and had some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. My favorites were: potato taco (taco with cheesy potatoes!), chicken makhni burrito (yummy chicken makhni), nachos (different flavored chips which adds an amazing taste), churros with chocolate (great desert to end a great meal with). Everything was also super fresh. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a fusion of Mexican and Indian! Kudos to the owners for bringing out such a cool concept 👍👍

It is a decent snack-place. Servers were friendly. The fish tacos were tasty - in both the crisp taco as well as the wrap. The vegetarian burrito bowl was mediocre- it had rice and vegetables with a dressing of Chipotle mayo.

Cute place in the area, the soft shell and hard shell veg tacos were some of the best I ever had. If I am ever in vicinity will visit the place. Great food love the tacos.

Tried the tacos at this Mexican Fusion cafe in Versova and loved the variety and taste of the tacos they offer. Visited Whacko Taco yesterday and it is, hands down the best Mexican place in town.<br/>The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful.<br/>Love the ambience and the vibe of the place; it's cosy, quirky and colourful.<br/><br/>Speaking of the food, we had the potato surprise tacos in soft shell and chicken fajita tacos in hard shell and they both were phenomenal!<br/><br/>The chicken pizza Quesadilla is definitely a must have!<br/><br/>One of the coolest concept they have is the build your own burrito bowl which is absolutely my favourite, where you have the option to choose from their countless ingredients to make your own perfect burrito and it tasted delicious!<br/><br/>For dessert we had the chocolate brownie with ice cream which will most certainly melt in your mouth.<br/><br/>I strongly recommend this place and it most certainly qualifies as one of my go-to cafés to grab a bite!

U get 1 measly chicken taco if u order a soft shell & 2 if u order hard shell. U are supposed to dream about this as it not written so anywhere .. also the taco is just sauces and no flavour, like a mayonnaise roll ..

Wonderful chill place really enjoyed the makhani taco and peri peri fries. Friendly guys managing the store and I am not sure we have a better Mexican joint so well priced and brilliant taste with wonderful young guys managing the show. Lives up to its name "Whacko".

It's a nice little place in Versova with quirky interiors. It has limited seating so it's better to be a little mindful before going there. The menu allows you all the customisation possible for burritos. We tried tacos, quesedillas, burrito wrap and nachos. Nachos with chicken stood out for me and everything we tried met our expectations. The portions seemed small especially with the kind of price they are charging , so maybe either can be improved in order to enhance the customer experience. Overall, it's worth a visit if you are into Mexican cuisine.

Mr. Arvind greeted us with a warm welcome giving us the menu and recommendation of what to try there. The seasonal shake “Strawberry Shake”. Made of the strawberry syrup lacks a bit of that authentic flavour. Made with good quality milk giving it a nice consistency and rich taste. A while back we visited Whacko Taco during their Taco Festival and were treated to some delicious tacos. The festival which ran until the end of August was such that you could have unlimited tacos for a fixed price: 399 for veg and 449 for non veg. The staff were pleasant and open to feedback, and indeed acted on the same pretty quick. For each of the taco's, you can choose the type of shell.<br/><br/>We tried,<br/>For non-veg- Chicken Fajita, Chicken Makhani, Chicken Kheema, Tempura Prawn, Crispy Fried Chicken Taco.<br/><br/>For veg- Classic Beans & Cheese, Mushroom & Cheese, Paneer Makhani, Potato Surprise and Mac & Cheese Taco.

They serve just one taco size of a small papad and expect you to have it as main course. moreover u pay 200 bucks for just 3 bites of taco that can’t even suffice one person . To accompany that you get 3 triangular nacho that’s it

Whacko Taco is situated in Versova and is a small outlet but it has very cute interiors. Our server, Mr. Arvind, was a very great help with the recommendations.<br/><br/>We tried 2 types of tacos, soft shell and hard shell, and I must say that both were amazing! The burrito bowl was good, but could have been better and the Whacko Taco Special Non Veg Nachos were the bestt! The Nutella Shake was a cherry on the cake with it's perfect taste and consistency.<br/><br/>Overall, I would give 5/5 stars to Whacko Taco for the food and the service.

They were deliciously made and eating them was a pleasure.<br/><br/>Whacko Taco Special Nachos Non Veg(4.5/5): These special nachos were veryyyyy goood! The cheese on them was a bit too much, but everything else, the beans, the salsa, the three types of nachos were all just perfect.<br/><br/>Burrito Bowl(3.5/5): The burrito bowl here was not my favourite burrito, but nonetheless, it had some really interesting bits. Here is what we tried to satisfy our Mexican cravings.<br/><br/>MUSHROOM AND CHEESE TACO - I loves the fact that they had the option of hard and soft taco, and I made up my mind of trying out both of them. Went with this mushroom and cheese taco with hard, crunchy shell, and I loved it. The mushroom was all meaty and soft, nicely grilled and the decent portion of mayo, sour cream and grated cheese make you enjoy it even more! Loved it!<br/><br/>MAC N CHEESE QUESADILLA - I love to experiment with fusion foods, not all of them work though, but this lovely fusion of mexican and italian origins did work. Freshly made tortilla wraped around warm mac n cheese pasta. It also had big chunks of jalepenos giving it a spicy kick. The pasta was a bit dry, of course or else how to you expect to make a quesadilla out of it, but the did not hold back in the cheesy part, so over all it was a yummy snack.<br/><br/>WHACKO TACO SPECIAL LOADED NACHOS NON VEG - Now thats how you name a dish and make every one want to try it right? I really got excited over the name, and what was served was even better than what I had in mind. There were three different types of nachos, and they were truly 'loaded' with salsa, veggies, olives, cheese sauce, cream cheese, sour cream and ofcourse, not to forget the chicken chunks too! It was truly something that can be named as 'the name of the food joint + special'! A recommended item for nachos lovers and for everyone else too.<br/><br/>CLASSIC CHICKEN FAJITA NACHOS - This was again their popular items, and you have to relish it in order to know why. I went on with the soft taco now, and it comes like a big piece of tortilla and the stuffing of fajita chicken, mayo and lettuce. Its a simple preparation, hence the word classic, but it tastes really good. The chicken was a bit too moist and when you take a bit, it oozed out water making it a bit messy, but I would give it a great score for its lovely taste.<br/><br/>BURRITTO - Now this is more like a make your own burritto and everyone like to make stuff according to their own liking. There is this option of choosing between a bowl and a wrap, and I went for the later. Then you choose a type of rice, them some protein and sauces, and finally a bit of toppings. Bam! You have your delicious burritto is ready! Its more like a wrap mainly stuffed with rice, and it was kinda weird, but tasted good too. It was my first burritto experience and it was a good one.<br/><br/>I enjoyed these mexican preparations and they are a serious value for money. It satisfies your mexican cravings to the core and assures that you would want to come for more too! I liked it and I would highly recommend you to try it too!<br/><br/>Happy Burping!!!<br/><br/>

Here's a cute little Mexican place serving some amazing food for a very reasonable price. These days everyone loves to snack and I'm sure you look for pocket friendly places with good food, well look no more. Whacko taco really impressed me with it's aesthetic ambience and cool quotes wall in such a small place. Really well made interiors with a seating for 10-12 people. They have some great offers also like unlimited tacos.. Etc. Coming to what I tried :<br/>1. Nutella Shake (5/5)- INSANE! I honestly didn't expect it to be so good and well obviously it tasted like liquid Nutella but the best part was it was thick and the consistency and flavours were spot on for the price. Definitely must try.<br/>2. Whacko taco special Nachos Veg (100000/5)- These are probably my new favourite nachos at such a good price. The quantity was more than enough for 2 people with oozing cheese sauce, beans, sour cream and nacho chips of 3 colours--green (spinach), red(beetroot) and the regular corn tortillas. I was HIGHLY IMPRESSED with these. Just order it.<br/><br/>3. Veg Potato Cheese Soft Shell Taco (5/5)- Again YUM. I liked soft shell taco better than hard shell one for two reasons - this was more cheesy, the potato shot and shredded cheese just made a perfect combo and the soft tortilla was much easier to eat. Must try.<br/><br/>4. Classic Mexican hard shell taco (5/5)- Loved the beans, minimal cheese and jalapeños. Really nice taste. True to the authentic tacos.<br/><br/>5. Burrito bowl (3/5)- Sadly this was a disaster because of my own choice. I chose the Mexican tomato corn rice along with cheese and chilli garlic sauce which is where the whole thing went wrong. The chilli garlic sauce was a Chinese sauce and it really made no sense mixing it and my server even prompted that its a Chinese sauce but I didn't pay heed to it so my bad completely. Do try this in any sauce except chilli garlic. Quantity was amazing.<br/><br/>6. Brownie with vanilla Icecream (5/5)- Walnut brownie with vanilla, classic yet amazing.<br/><br/>Overall I was super satisfied with their concept. The tick menu made ordering much easier and convenient and the quick service was commendable. Special thanks to my server Arvind and the chef Ajit<br/><br/>

Delicious Mexican fare..love their potato soft shell taco, disarmingly simple preparation but I can't stop ordering it. It's super filling as well. It's a layer of Mexican rice with corn, topped with generous amount of grilled paneer, sauces, cheese, lettuce . This one is a perfect, hearty and delicious meal for one.<br/><br/>Chocolate Biscotti: This one is again strongly recommended. Mc vities biscuits are served with some gooey hot chocolate. The place is nicely decorated with food quotes on the wall. The service is quick. The owner/ manager is polite. They serve amazing tacos, shakes, nachos, quesadilla, burritto bowl and wraps..<br/><br/>Coming to the food we had their<br/>CLASSIC BEANS TACO'S(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) those were the best taco's. They also have of hard shell and soft shell so we went with the hard shell and it was filled with beans, lettuce, sour cream, jalapenos and a layer of cheese on top of it. Beans were perfectly cooked and the sour cream was also put in perfect proportion.<br/><br/>The other taco we tried was PANNER MAKHANI TACO'S (recommend).. again we went with the hard shell.. it had grilled panner, Tikka sauce, mint mayo, salsa sauce, and topped with a layer of sauce.. of you love panner and taco you should definitely go with this one.. panner was perfectly cooked and it was soft..<br/><br/>The other things we tried were Peri Peri fries (same as mcd) I just loved it.. and along with it we had Nutella shake which went well with Taco's and frries.. and we ended it with brownie with vanilla ice cream 😋.<br/><br/>Definitely worth a try ♥️

It’s hard to get Mexican food around Versova (let alone in Mumbai) that really holds to some good quality. Loving the food and vibes at this new cosy cafe in Versova! The potato suprise tacos were amazing but what stole the show was their makhani burrito bowl which aced their concept of Mexican fusion. Would definitely come back here to try more on the menu!

The food was absolutely delicious and to die for!<br/>What I loved most was how well they managed the fusion of Mexican and Indian - like with the Chicken Makhani Tacos. <br/>Another great dish was the Chicken Pizza Quesadilla - full of flavour and the chicken melts in your mouth. <br/>The Potato Surprise Tacos are YUM! I couldn’t get over them! <br/>The Peri Peri Fries deserve a special mention - they are crispy, spicy and everything fries are supposed to be! <br/>Last but definitely not the least, BiscoLate was DIVINE! You have to have to have to try it when you go there! <br/>The people are great and super friendly. <br/>Ambience of the restaurant is cozy and homely. The decor complements it as well, and on the whole, the place is very pretty and super instagrammable!!!<br/>Definitely a must visit!!!

While the prices are low, you get what you pay for. Tried the fried chicken and prawn tempura tacos were very basic, and they use mayonnaise, thousand-island dressing, and the Salsa was like mashed tomatoes with mirchi.<br/>The nail in the coffin was the grainy guacamole- it is not at all smooth or creamy, like they have mixed in some other vegetables like raw cauliflower so they don’t have to use so much avocado.

#tacky not a good food experience, has ventilation issues in the a/c section. 1 point for their guacomole which i had to separately order for each of my dish cause each dish lacked guacomole and some sort of sauce which was not like gravy and 1 for dessert.<br/><br/>Ambience :2/5. We sat inside. Ambience was good and properly lit. We were the only ones there. So as on, we ordered our food and waited. But after the food started to come out the whole room was filled with fried oil smell and my eyes started to water cause of no-ventilation in kitchen.<br/><br/>F & B<br/><br/>Peach iced tea and cola : 5/5. They were as they should be.<br/><br/>Classic beans and cheese tacos : 2/5. The tacos were fresh. But the beans were the indian version of rajma and extreme watered-down gravy which eventually ruined the taste of everything.<br/><br/>Veg whacko taco special nachoes : 2/5. Tri-colored nachoes (red, green and yellow), beetroot, spinach and corn flavoured which were of good quality. The sauces poured were good. But again watered-down And yes it also had the indian version of rajma(bean) with gravy. The gravy made every chip soggy and unpleasant to eat.<br/><br/>Peri peri fries : 5/5. I am potato biased.<br/><br/>Veg Burritto Bowl : 0/5. It tasted like vomit. The oil they used to cook in all this was extremely burnt and stale which got mixed in whole of the burrito bowl. It was pathetic.<br/><br/>Biscolate : 3/5. Could be better if the chocolate mousse like thing it had was cold and had mousse like texture. The taste was good But too dense, at some point you don't like to go back to the dessert for another spoonful.<br/><br/>Guacomole : 5/5. They should add this in every dish they cook. I had to order this separately. But it is sublime. They should pack this and sell on over-counters.<br/><br/>They need improvements alot. Specially in what they give if you say you are mexican cuisine special.

While the food is good, they are very inconsistent. The burrito bowl is great. But if you order early in the day you might not get any consistency in taste. The same order can taste very different each time you get it. They should focus on getting consistent.

My first time ordering from whako taco and I was really pleasantly surprised , our refried bean and cheese tacos where a nice sized portion and were tasty , will definitely try more things next time. The guacamole pot was abit small for an extra 65rps but it was enough and avocado is a pricey ingredient. I loved it so much I ordered again .. they don't send any dips for the side nacho/tacos which is a shame so good tip is to order atleast one sauce cos they don't come with any

Such an amazing place with amazing food. The best thing about this place is the way they're twisting Mexican food with an Indian touch in it.<br/>What I tried was: whacko taco non veg nachos - this was one of the best Nacho's I've ever had and also the quantity was amazing.<br/>Tempura prawn tacos: this tasted good, but the filling, specially prawns were really less.<br/>Chicken crispy: this was really good and so much better than KFC crispy chicken. The chicken was still crispy after being cooled and still tastes amazing 😍😍😍<br/>Chicken pizza quesadilla: my favorite dish from this place was chicken pizza quesadilla. This was perfectly made and had good filling in it. And the after taste of cheese in it is amazing 😋😋<br/>Chicken burrito bowl and Nutella shake.

WHACKO TACO! 😍<br/><br/>I am all for trying out new cuisine, and Whacko Taco, which is a new place, they have introduced Mexican Cuisine for the people in this area! They have given an Indian Twist to the traditional Mexican Food!<br/><br/>They are currently offering, Tacos, Nachos, Burritos, and Chips and Dips! They also have some Milkshakes, which are nothing to rave about! I tried the Nutella Milkshake, which tasted okayish! The Nutella flavour was a tad bit missing as well!<br/><br/>But, their Chef Special Chicken Nachos, one of the best Nachos I have had till date! The Biscolate, I am still reminiscing about the taste of it, as I am writing about it! Whacko taco which is located at versova serves delicious Mexican cuisines which includes nachos ,tacos and burritos bowls and delicious desserts.<br/>It's a small chill place where they have varieties of options of Mexican cuisine<br/>What we ordered is<br/>Nutella shake- Chocolaty and who doesn't love nutella the shake is worth trying.<br/>Chicken makhani tacos -Chicken makhani never tasted so good before the tacos in hard shell so so delicious and garnished with alot of cheese the portion is quite nice and too filling.<br/>Cripsy fried chicken tacos - This soft shell tacos was scrumptious with lots of cheese to it and the quality was to[ good. Super delicious food; prompt service; affordable menu; cute, pinterest-y vibes make for a fun, satisfying and value-for-money meal. Very small and cozy eatery on JP road. I've given it a high rating as I'm comparing it to other joints of comparable size. It's clean and brightly done. The food is good. I had a Tangy rice bowl with prawn tempura and garlic sauce. It was surprisingly filling. The guy at the counter is a good person to consult about what to order. I thought the place could use some ambient music, though. Specifically, south American music.

We'd ordered Classic Beans & Cheese and Cheesy Chicken Kheema tacos in soft shell. The food was sent nicely packed and look prepared hygienically. The flavours are mild, not spicy nor bland. Since I prefer medium spices, this was perfect for me. But, if you're looking for spicy food, then these 2 varieties are not for you. Overall, I loved the food, and will definitely try more varieties soon.

Last Friday visited whack taco with my friend .<br/>I was invited to this place . It is located in the versova .from the versova station it will hardly gonna take 5-7 mins by the rickshaw .<br/><br/>This place is newly opened and they have small place but they have maintained them very well.<br/>The ambience and decor are quite good and with a view of versova beach.<br/><br/>The service is good and they serve in the box soo if you can't finish it so you can take box takeaway type. Strawberry this is the season of strawberries and can't miss this strawberry shake it was not thick not thin it was good.<br/><br/>2. What an absolute delight this new place is. Apart from the restaurant decor being super cute, the food also is really good. Their Indian take on Mexican food is really innovative. Hands down my favorite Mexican joint in town. Also, the chocolate dessert was incredible ❤️
