Review Saurashtra Farsan Mart - Mumbai

I felt Samosa is Okayish coz I went here after hearing so much about this place. No doubt they have different varieties of Farsans but you should try their Jalebi, Aloo Wadi, Surali chi Wadi. Rest I dint get a chance to try as shop has lot of rush & the space is little to occupy people But a must try atleast once, I case you won't nothing is being missed in life 🙂

Saurashtra Farsan is located near Dadar Railway station, within walking distance. I tried their famous samosa and some leaf bhajiya. Well, the place is good. The USP of this place is the chutney, which is not easily found in Mumbai. Just like Maharashtra has papaya chutney as a staple, Gujarat has this chutney as a staple. However, this version of spicy Gujarati chutney was delicious. The samosa's quality and price were really good. The leaf bhajiya was something new I tried, not that great. It feels like eating 90% besan with barely any taste of the leaf, but it tastes good with chutney. Conclusion: The samosa is definitely worth the hype. The leaf bhajiya is worth trying once with chutney.

Kachori taste best. The samosa quality was really good.Walkable distance from station . Most of the time crowded. The location is very convenient, right on the main road. Parking issue. Can also try khandvi, khaman farsan all are fresh items available.Famous for there unique chutney. Very yummy and tasty.
Nayan Thakkar
Best shop near Dadar station which offers good hygiene tasty quality snacks like Samosa, Dhokla etc at reasonable rate. Also offers fresh farsan like potato wafers etc but which is little bit costly.

They are not kidding around with their samosas. Those samosas would pair beautifully with a lassi from next doors (Ghamandi Lassi). If everything was made a tad fresher & hotter that would certainly hit a sweet spot & uplift their quality standards. I would have also loved the inclusion of the classic fried salt mirchi to take things to the next level.

Saurashtra kachori and chatni are the best in all over Mumbai. They have iconic kachori. Tuesday closed.

Farsam mart among many others at Kabutar khana, dadar west. It is one of oldest shops, I have been buying from them for 40 years. They have maintained their food quality throughout these years. They also keep fresh snack items. I love their upavas kachori. The location is very convenient, right on the main road. You won't get parking anywhere nearby.
Aaswad Bhramanticha - आस्वाद भ्रमंतीचा

Childhood memories are the best. I remember going to Saurastra to buy bhajjis and samosa. They had dry fruits in their samosas.

I love their samosas still amazing. And this farali pattice is mind blowing. You must try when you are in the dadar market area.

Eating samosas in this stall since childhood, since my school was just opposite this stall. You will get hot samosas here, tastes awesome with their special chutney. You get many gujarati items here like dhokla, and many other things.
Trupti Kokitkar
Famous snack point in dadar. You will get real taste of farsan here. Samosa kachori are the best. They serve fresh food. Expensive but worth for money.

Saurashtra Farsan Mart is legendary in Dadar. It always has been a small takeaway joint forever bustling with customers, any time of the day. Their kachoris samosas sev gathiya farsan pakodas are the tastiest. Everything that they have on menu is worth your while. The limited staff is efficient, proactive & alert & I hv seen them there since atleast 30 yrs.

Location : Situated close to Kabootar Khana Dadar, Opp Hanuman Temple. It is easily accesible. Parking for Cars is impossible.

Waiting: Though sometimes there is a queue yet With two people taking orders the waiting time is minimal.

Service: Packaging is minimalistic, with newspaper being used for packaging. Please get your own bags to avoid carriage challenges.

Food :
The Samosa are a hot favorite with dollops of chatni.
The Small kachori is the finest in Dadar, You cant have just one,
The white Dhokla is yummy.
The ameri Khaman is a speciality and a must try,
The other farsan items are equally good. The pricing is on the higher side, keeping in mind the quality of ingredients, the freshness of products and exquisite taste its worth every penny.

Saurashtra serves you yummy delights for breakfast and evening snack time

It is located in the crowded market place near kabutar khana

I usually love thier samosas makai roll and kurkura roll

Let's talk about thier samosas it is crispy hot and the filling is very tasty. Kurkura roll is veg and potato stuffed crispy shavings coated and deep fried snack goes well with tamarind chutney

Makai roll is start for the evening is it soft filled with American sweet corns and bread crumb coating

I must mention about thier raw papaya chutney you get this sweet and tangy chutney with any snack you order.

Raw papaya chutney contains dhokla crumble and thin slices of raw papaya must try when in dadar❤🥰
They have come online on Zomato but big problem is that minimum order is for 1 kg. Tried to convince them to reduce to 500 gm with minimum value but find that they are really not cooperative, understanding or customer friendly

One of the best place for samosa lovers. The samosa served with the chutney is just like a desi celebration in mouth.
And the mini kachoris are brilliant.

So it's located in Dadar West opposite to Hanuman Mandir. So I was going though the lane got the smell of hot Samosa 😋 instantly I got hunger 😂😂😂 so I had the samosa and some soft drinks. Samosa was totally hot and crisp and with that green chutney it was superb. If I comes again nearby this area again I am definitely going to stop and have there samosa ❤️
