It's a good cafe situated in Goregaon-East in the campus of Royal Challenge, Ambiance wise I would say it is a very simple, its a very exotic and old cafe which is legend. The burgers are good too.
Ever since 2008 when I settled in Goregoan with my family cafe java, earlier called java grind has been a synonymous adjective when there were celebrating ocassion in our family. Be it getting a 10 in a test or celebrating a promotion party . These cakes have been on our tastebuds. Their cakes are always mouth melting amd their staff always preppy . Be it a small ocassion or garander for that mstter even little foodcravings with this cakes and pastries will never fail to live up to the occasion
Cafe Java, formerly known as "Java Grind" at Goregaon (East) has been serving people for more than a decade now. I have been a customer since the beginning and till date their quality hasn't changed.
The decor is easy and not too bright, just what you need from a casual cafe.
The things which I highly recommend to have there are:-
1) Cheesy Garlic Bread.
2) Potato Basket.
3) Cheese Chilli Sandwich.
Cafe Java is our favorite hangout place from college times. It's a very cozy cafe situated in Goregaon-East in the campus of Royal Challenge. Earlier they used to serve coffee and pastries and now they have diversified their menu into rolls, cakes and many more.
If you are a chocolate lover one should go for Dutch Truffle Cake if you want to order cake for any occasion.
Their Cappuccino is also nice and pocket friendly.

Cafe Java Grind has always been our home ground to hang out. The cafe has some amazing brownies, the most famous one is the "Cafe Brownie" 🍰🍫which unfortunately wasn't available, however we had this Iced Caffe Latte with ice cream🍹, all drizzled with chocolate. An amazing experience. We do recommend you to visit this place. The best hangout spot so far.

This has been a hangout place for a long time, even when they were in the outer side. Gone there after a long time and was happy to see they added lot of items to their menu. Tried sizzling brownie there, it was good.

Java Cafe !! Introduced to me by my friend. I have visited this place lot recently to spend some quality time with my better half.
The cafe tough bit on the inside, not visible from the main road, is a good place to munch a bite or have a some quiet and peaceful time.
Ambience wise I would say it is a very Simple and Decent place, sort of a classic cafe theme based. Enjoyable for persons of any age.
Staff - Friendly and Service - Good
Have tried a variety of Snacks & Coffee, and it was really worth the value. To add on to it, they also serve mouth watering Cakes and Pasteries.
My own favorite is the Paneer Tikka Sandwich, Cheese Garlic Bread, Hot Chocolate, Sizzling Brownie and Lastly Honey and Lime Masala Tea.
To top the Charts is the Chocolate Truffle Cake which is not only my favorite but everyone in my family.

Awesome place, just loved their java caramel temptation and corn cheese balls as well, it's a good place to go for vegetarian lovers, lots of dishes available.

I really liked the spinach corn sandwich over here...haven't tried anything else but this is a must try...it's very fresh n light. It's a very small joint in Goregaon East but don't have much varieties..
One suggestion: pl start keeping some munchies or add on some more sandwich options 😊

It's the best place to chill with friends or someone special.The service was also pretty good.And most important it's a very pleasant place.I would recommend to go there atleast once.I ordered there java temptation and mocha cream granite.Both were pretty good but then java temptation was just so perfect.Its a very cozy place

A Cafe which never disappoints you.
Renamed n Replaced with Java Grind, Cafe Java is a resurgence of all the coffee shops.
The Interiors, Music, Aroma of Coffee and Appetizers make this Cafe is a good place.
The Staff is courteous and prompt. They have knowledge of what they serve and can recommend if you get stuck with any of the dishes/Beverages on their Menu.
So Java serves you Espressos - Hot & Cold, lattes, Mochas, Coolers, Brownies, Pastries, Sandwiches, Fries and many more sideys.
A perfect place for catch-ups, dates and lil get-togethers.
Much better than the hyped CCDs, Baristas n even Starbucks.
They also take orders for Cakes - Large or Medium.
So if you are in Goregaon try CJ you will know the actual meaning of a Coffee Shop.
There are 5 reasons I gave this place a 5 star rating::-
First: it's been the place I would visit with my brother during school days. At that time the name was java grind. Have fun joyful memories from this place next to Royal challenge
Second: I truly enjoy their cold coffee with ice cream. Better than any other coffee hub. I do love their potato smileys They taste really awesome.
Third: it's cost effective. I haven't come across any coffee shop as cost effective as this one. I do know high end coffee shops. But they cost a hell lot of money.
Fourth: it's a small cozy coffee hub. I love the simplicity.
Fifth: it's close to my house. I can visit the place any time I like and have a good time.

Visited this place today because of all the good ratings on zomato. And indeed this place is great. Great food. Great ambiance. Great service. And very kind staff.
We ordered-
Java temptation
Pasta in pink sauce
Paneer tikka sandwhich
And sizzling brownie.
To my surprise all the dishes were amazing!
The only thing that happened was we ordered for 1 java temptation and he served 2. I told them that we ordered for 1 and he was very kind enough to take the second one back by saying sorry and not asking any questions.
And we ordered for pink sauce pasta. He confirmed it twice wether we wanted pink or red. But they served us white pasta! I told them we had ordered for pink. He appologised and replaced it with pink sauce pasta again without asking any question or without being rude.
The guy who was in charge of cooking was not focused today and he got scoldings for that!
But i wont reduce any points for this because the food was great.
And kabhe kabhe galtiya ho jati hai!
This will surely be my regular place from now! :)
Thank you CAFE JAVA for saving me at the last moment. I forgot my friend's birthday last month and I had no option other than searching something on Zomato. I found this one and ordered Choco caramel (large), potato smiles and apple pie. The cake was really superb.

This is a very small outlet Near Royal Challenge. It's like you blink and miss it.
Though small the place is nice n comfy, has about 5 tables. I went there to have a sandwich as wI was very hungry. They had only 2 options Paneer tikka and spinach corn. Ordered the SnC it was nice freshly made for me not like CD where it's made n kept in display.
Haven't tried anything else but very satisfied with the sandwich.

This was my favourite joint when I was in school as my school was near. I stopped going once it shifted to a smaller place opposite royal challenge. Started getting too crowded.
Things I use to order-
∆ Blue lagoon- don't judge as I was a kid and blue drink use to look really cool and salt on the rim use to give an alcoholic drink feels.
∆ Javachinno- best drink ever and I remember I use to save money to splurge on this one as we had limited pocket money and this was the most expensive drink back thn.
∆ popato basket- fries and smiley and wedges and gossip makes everything ok.
I surely need to visit again and they also have this amazing cake I use to love but don't remember the name just ask the person behind the counter for the best cake.
I would still pick this over any CCD outlet.
One of my favourite place around in Goregaon East .. Especially for weekend Brunches.. Delicious food, Authentic Coffee in reasonable price.
Perfect place for coffee and conversation.
Service is super and I am a very regular at this cafe. Just wow their filter coffee and have had my share every day. Drawbacks are limited menu which is fine going by where it's located and target audience I guess. No taxes and no useless pricing. It definitely wins on cleanliness, service, taste and quality and finally pricing too.
Small cozy place. Chocolate truffle was delicious and cappuccino was nice and strong. Iced mocha could have been better. They also serve sandwiches, that I couldn't try. Overall, it is a nice place to hangout and have a quick bite to eat.
This place has been near Oberoi mall for ages. Small choice of cakes but delicious. The snacks are freshly made and the black coffee we had was perfectly prepared.

Came across this place on Zomato, went there with my friends, quite place with a beautiful ambiance and not to forget the ever curious manager. We ordered for a coffee and sandwich and both were exceptional. Overall a big thumbs up for this cafe! Keep up the good work guys.

Management has changed but the taste of coffee is still the same. Pastry is delicious. All the staff are friendly and cooperative.
We came here as a group of 6 on a Tuesday night at around 8. The place has a small sitting arrangement. with comfortable chairs. The person taking the order was very friendly and helpful with menu choices. The place is ideal for trying some good beverage coupled with mouth watering sandwiches. The ambiance is pretty much like an ideal coffee shop should be. The smell of fresh coffee beans in the air is so refreshing. I still wonder why have they removed Nachos from the menu. It use to be really scrumptious. The potato wedges were crispy and toothsome. The best thing on their menu which everyone should try is, the sizzling brownie. Totally delectable and reasonably priced. This place is quiet and open till midnight for nice cappuccino lovers.
One of the nicer cafe's in the area. While there are other options at Oberoi mall, the extra time needed to reach, enter and exit the mall for a quick cup of coffee ad light bite is too much. This is where this joint scores. It has a decent but basic ambience but the coffee is very good.👍👍
Although the management has changed there is no significant change in d menu or the outlet itself but there were many noticeable changes in the quality and quantity of the food. I went there a week ago and had my fav java chocolate temptation. The prices are a lil higher now. They have increased the chocolate content which is awesome. I had the paneer tikka roll which was small but tasty. I tried the white sauce pasta which was nice but the quantity was very less. Also tried the new cinnamon flavor hot chocolate which was okay. I would rate it 3/5. They hav removed nachos from the menu which i loved. Please put that back! Also ordered the famous fries basket but it was out of stock, anyways, its amazing to see java back its just 5 mins from my house and i love going there!

Think this is a new place since when I went there a month back and then went to review it then it was not there on zomato. But then I think it was added. This was quite a good find. Nice interiors, good people and nice service. Something that can lift your mood on a busy weekday. I tried the potato wedges, a cappuccino and the sizzling brownie. The brownie was excellent and definitely worth the price! Very cheap items and it's almost a steal in that context. A sure shot try for coffee lovers and people looking for a bit of peace!
It has scrumptious dessert options. People mostly come here to satisfy their sweet tooth. It's affordable and has a lot to offer. This is a must try if you enjoy eating cakes, pastries, cookies etc.
