Review Maruti Pav Bhaji - Mumbai

Tripper HD - A Travel Vlogger
Maruti Pav Bhaji, located in Vile Parle West, is a must-visit for any pav bhaji enthusiast. I had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable pav bhaji outlet a few weeks ago, primarily drawn by their renowned black pav bhaji. The establishment may be modest in size with minimal decor, accommodating around 20-30 patrons at a time, but it's the flavors that truly shine here. My companions and I embarked on a culinary journey through some of their signature dishes, including the exquisite Black Pav Bhaji, the indulgent Cheese Pav Bhaji, Masala Pav Sandwich and the delectable Butter Pulav. Considering the taste, portion sizes, and prices ranging from ₹200-₹400 for two people, Maruti Pav Bhaji offers great value for money. The food was consistently fresh, and the serving sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied. In conclusion, Maruti Pav Bhaji is a hidden gem in Vile Parle West that deserves a visit. Whether you're a fan of traditional pav bhaji or want to explore innovative variations, this place won't disappoint you. The combination of quality, affordability, and a cozy ambiance makes it a top choice for pav bhaji lovers.

The pav bhaji for which it is so famous is a must have, the masal pav here is awesome, tasty and spicy. The taste of the bhaji was nice. Pricing is also too decent and reasonable.

It's a cute small, hut shaped arrangement and you have the options to sit on chairs as well as on the floor. We ordered Pav bhaji and Pulao... (Cheese special) both were good... A Lil spicy for us ..but good to experience. 💕

Maruti Pav Bhaji is a charming little haven for pav bhaji enthusiasts, and it's no ordinary pav bhaji joint. What sets this place apart is their signature Black Bhaji Pav, a delightful twist on a classic. The star attraction – the Black Bhaji Pav. This innovative take on the traditional pav bhaji is a culinary marvel. The black bhaji, rich and flavorful, is served with perfectly toasted pav. The combination is an explosion of taste, and the black bhaji's unique spices make it a must-try for anyone seeking an adventurous palate.

Visited this amazing pav bhaji outlet few weeks back just because of their famous black pav bhaji. All the covid protocols were followed stricly. It's quite a small place with minimal decor. But can be sufficient for 15-20 people at once. We tried many of their famous items. 📌What we tried:- 🔸Black Pav Bhaji 🔸Cheese Pav Bhaji 🔸Butter fry pav bhaji 🔸Paneer cheese tawa pulao 📌Price for two:- 200-300 The food prepared was fresh and the quantity was upto the mark. According to the price and quality it was really good. I recommend Butter fry pav bhaji and black cheese pav bhaji. This two were my absolute favourite and too good. You can definitely give this place a try, won't disappoint you.

Nice concept of ground seating. You need to remove your shoes outside. The place is lit if you want to have some peaceful quality time. I really liked the ambience. The service and taste is upto the mark. Only thing i didnt liked was aalo chat because it felt like eating boiled aalo ka sookha sabji, there was nothing apart from masala in it. Rest everything was amazing. Additionally, currently they are accepting only cash.

Best place to eat pav bhaji hot and spicy, tasty and fresh. There are many with the same name, this one is the original. It’s a nice simple small restaurant opposite Pawan Hans on S V road. Valet parking is not available.

Do you want to have the best pav bhaji in the town? Maruti pav Bhaji located in Vile Parle West is the best place for you ! It serves our famous Kali Pav Bhaji. What I tried - Pav Bhaji - The best Pav bhaji i have ever had. A very unique taste and a must have ! Masala Pav - unlike the regular masala pav that we get, masala pav at Maruti pav bhaji comes with lots and lots of coriander and tastes delicious. Pulav - Awesome and unique taste. The quantity served is also good. Good service and a must visit place !

The place is quiet unique, from outside it may not look so eye catching, but the sitting inside is quite nice, they offer table sitting and ground sitting tables for dining, the ambience was well lit and cozy, a bit busy place. The cleanliness is well maintained, staff may not be so good, I felt a bit rudeness was there. I tried butter pav bhaji, the taste was up to the expectations and will surely give a try again soon. Do visit and try the Pav Bhaji.

The pav bhaji here is known as "black pav bhaji" 😍 It's affordable and it a burst full of flavour.. I can legit feel like I'm eating it rn .. I can taste it. It sooo buttery and delicious.. it the right amount of spicy and tangy .. Masala pav is also so yummy .. they use no limit butter here .. they make their own pav bhaji masala.. that's why it's black .. I always enjoy having it.. Sunday's for me are meant for maruti pav bhaji ❤️🤤

It has been my go to place since childhood and it has changed location over the years but the taste has been like it was when I was kid. It serves one of the best pav bhaji in Mumbai. Must visit for their take on black pav bhaji.

This place looks like a small shack from the outside but it is quite big. The actual dining area is located on the attic and the provide very tasty food in an air conditioned ambient room. Impressed with the good service.
Vaishnavi Bapardekar
A very decent place for pav bhaji lovers. Cozy enviornment and friendly place with excellent service. Would surely recommend to try out their masala pav.

Very late delivery and the paav bhaji was not even tasty. Delivery was also bad. Packaging was not good at all
Vedant Jasani
Very nice and tasty pav bhaji very nice masala pav I also went the very hygiene place and good for spicy lovers
The Black Pav Bhaji which is their specialty is super spicy, super delicious and one of the best versions of Pav Bhaji I have had. They do make less spicy version of the Black Pav Bhaji on request. The second must try dish is Masala Pav which is again spicy and contains lots of coriander. There is a burst of flavors in both the dishes and it will make you a fan of this place. You can also order just Black Bhaji along with Masala Pav instead of taking the plain Pav.
Food Swingz
This place it very famous for its Black pav bhaji. We ordered 1 plate with 2 extra pav. The price is very reasonable. Packing is not great. They didn't give extra onions to put on the bhaji which should have been there. The Bhaji does taste very well but it's a bit spicy to enjoy the other flavours. This place is open till late and can satisfy your midnight cravings. A nice place to order Pav Bhaji from if other options are not available or you are low on budget.
Mumbai Food Blogger
It is a roadside cart but also very famous.
If you are up for hygienic food then this is not for you.
As this place is really popular everybody in and around vile parle atleast go in to try it for once.
I happened to go with my friends and I was shocked when I saw the quantity of butter being used for the pav bhaaji. It was enough to choke you arteries.
Taste wise it is very average.
We had ordered masala pav and kaala pav bhaaji and it was very very very greasy and spicy for my preference.
I ended eating just one pav and even after that I felt bloated because of the heaviness the butter brought.
Not a fan !
San Bihari
Not so good as name, people are blind only focus on brand not to food, sadhela Allo daltehain ,khata ,not used any butter
Eatup Mumbai
They are famous for the brown pav bhaji which is very delicious. They also have home delivery
The Never Ending Taless

The packing was very poor... Also bhaji was smelling very bad.

Best pav bhaji I ever eaten. Very good taste.
My family also like this pav bhaji. Nice serving
of the pav bhaji.
Aditi Shah
Ordered Masala pav and Pav bhaji. The butter they apply on the pav is just amazing. The taste of the bhaji is at point. If you ask spicy, they make it just the way you like it. The masala pav is just worth the wait. There is not much seating area. But you can always parcel it or eat it in your vehicle. There are like 4 tables with 4 seats each. They provide bottled water and beverages too.

The pav bhaji is too good. The place can be improved in terms of hygiene. The taste of food is too good and plus the price is affordable.
I think it's most probably the best pav bhaji in Parle.

Delicious food with a variety of dishes. Subzis are different to taste than usual. If you are fond of desserts then this menu gets your desires fulfilled. the pav bhaji is really worth trying here one of the best you can say. A lot of rush at peak hours, try your luck.

Craving for pav bhaji? Then go here and try a different type of bhaji here. They serve black pav bhaji with delicious buttery pav. Place is very old and people in here love their food. They have proper sitting arrangement here. Their service is average but staff is very attentive.

This is the place in vile Parle West where they serve black pav bhaji only.
The place is always crowded because of their delicious pav bhaji.
Food is served here quick and taste is too good.
Their kothmir masala pav is another good dish to try here. And tawa pulao is always best.
If you love lots of butter in your pav then you will love their pav.

Went to Maruti Pav bhaji since it is a very popular Pav Bhaji destination in Susburbs of Mumbai. The ambiance of this place is okayish to say the least. Ordered a couple of Pav bhaji and they were prompt to get the orders.
Pav bhaji tasted Ok and consistent for all orders. Was too spciy for my liking and my companions found it spicy too.
Tawa Pulao again was descent, though spicy.
Not a very expensive place, though go only if you love spicy food.
Nihar Bhatawadekar
One of the best Pav Bhaji outlets in the suburbs of Mumbai.
It is a small street side joint which specialises mainly in Pav Bhaji, but also in items like Tava Pulao, Masala Pav and so on.
The service is prompt. However it being a street side joint, hygiene can be an issue.
But the Pav Bhaji that they serve is one of the best.
FULLY RECOMMENDED.
Shweta Bulani
I ordered their pav bhaji yesterday. Gotta say I've never seen pav bhaji in this blackish color first I thought they sent something. Taste is below average. Though the pav had very good quantity of butter on it. They should definitely modify the taste of bhaji.
Arun Salgaonkar
This is clearly not that street for you are expecting the famous maruti pav bhaji black . this is kind of restaurant . so the taste is completely different to eat so it need so quite room for improvement and the masala pav was not with spicy it was just dipped in butter and gave it to you . There were no spices on the pav.
Karan Parmar
Ordered from Maruti pav bhaji. a pulav, masala pav, black pav bhaji. Kali pav bhaji was good and spicy. Would not recommend for people who don't like spicy food. Masala Pav was extremely spicy but also very tasty. pulav had a lot of green peas which were also well cooked. Although, a must try is the Kali Pav Bhaji.
Omkar Salgaonkar
It was overall good in packaging but the masala pav was not with spices at all !! the is not that street pav bhaji on sv road this is different in taste from all the sides !! this was a delivery order !! taste wise it was bit average
Sahilparikh1604
Horrible experience, ordered from here.I called them an hour later and they say we won't deliver. When I asked why I wasn't informed their reply was "humko time nahi tha". They basically just don't care!!!

I was so happy to introduce my favourite pav bhaji place to my new college friends. We ordered for 3plate kala pav bhaji and masala pav. We enjoyed our every bit of piece. We couldn't resist ourself from taking a home delivery too.. just in case we are hungry again😅😜. The moment was just like we saw, we craved, and we ordered. Thankyou Maruti pav bhaji for making it worth it.

If you have heard they make the best pav bhaji and very tasty. Please don't believe .It's just normal nothing great. And also the staff is very rude.
Aditya Salgaonkar
Coming to this restaurant maruti pav bhaji. everyone expects that this is that stall of maruti pav bhaji which is black in colour but it isnt and also the masala pav isnt that great ! There is no masala in that only corriander and butter it was very disappointing rest the packing was great
Pooja Joshi
Very unique pav bhaji.. black coloured. But super duper tasty. Their masala pav is spicy as hell. But I absolutely love their tawa pulao. Too good...
Shivam Awasthi
This place used to be good for paav bhazi. No what they offer you is far away from quality and taste.

We have tried their Black Pav Bhaji and Cheese Pav Bhaji.
Really couldn't tell the difference between these two at first but as we kept eating, would make out the powerful taste of tomatoes in the Cheese Pav Bhaji.
The pav was very well buttered.
The Bhaji could have been better if it wasn't much watery.

Overall, good to have as an evening snack
Ashok
Food is awesome. Kala Pav Bhaji and Masala Pav are unique and quite tasty.
Food lovers will like it instantly. Slightly spicy but good.
However service and seating is ok types.
Kush Prakash
Pavs are too oily here. The pav bhaji overall is good, but too many calories, pavs are mostly butter and less pav, so much butter seems kinda unhelthy, tastewise good

*Maruti Pav Bhaji*
A small stall in Vile parle West very famous for its Black pav bhaji. It is just 5 minutes walking from parle station and at a corner of S.V. Road. Opens up after 7:30pm and is busy most of the time. Well known for its black pav bhaji and buttery masala pav. Service is quick, quality has been maintained since years now. Alert- meant for people who like spicy food. This pav bhaji would never disappoint and at reasonable prices. They also serve Jain pav bhaji and tawa pulav, but would recommend the black pav bhaji only.
Must have for food lovers.
The ultimate place to try out the Black Pav bhaji in town.. It is also known as the Khada pav Bhaji. We tried the Masala pav too. It is a proper place to enjoy snacking late in the evening. At a reasonable price too. The place is quite full most of the times but the taste is amazing

😍Black Pav Bhaji😍

A friend recommended this place saying they serve delicious black pav bhaji.
The name itself made us want to try the dish.

We headed to the place on the very same evening, happened to see a shop with a 3 table setup each having 4 seats. Also a cart was put up outside where the pav bhaji is actually prepared.

We ordered the classic black pav bhaji & other one with cheese.

The taste was good but I feel they should use Amul butter as its the ingredient which makes pav bhaji taste awesome.

2 plates of pav bhaji was sufficient for 3 people as we ordered extra pavs.

Service is good & the price is super budget friendly.

Ratings -
Ambience - 3/5
Service - 3/5
Food - 3/5
Price - 4/5
Qantity - 3/5

HAPPY EATING😊

One of the worst pav bhaji ever had, pav bhaji k nam pe kuch b dete ho, Please zomoto taste meal before you allow for sale...

Please don't.
Shreyansh Mainkar
Quality - 2/5
Quantity - 4.3/5
Packaging- 4/5
The quantity was quite good and the taste was aslo decent but the major disappointment is that the quality of product they use is disgusting the flavours and ingredients the food has lead me to food poisoning and a very bad affect on my body for next 3 days! And this is not my personal experience but aslo the other people who had it! I request them to please take this into consideration
Harsh Makwana
The best pav bhaji I have eaten. It's a good in taste and the Serice is also good the pave bhaji taste is awesome like mouth watering pav bhaji that I have never eaten
Priyanka Gupta
Tried pavbhaji and masala pav. Pav bhaji was really good, one of the best in Mumbai. It was not black as such as I have heard before but that was a breather. Masala pav was not that good so don't go for it it's very spicy.
Lalit
Ordered two pav bhaji today and extra pav. Unhappy with the packaging style. No separate package. Pav just bundled in plastic bag. Onions and tomatoes packed in newspaper. Was soggy by the time of delivery

Taste OK. May not try again
Snehal Pravin Rane
This place is Known for its famous black pav bhaji. I expected the ambience to be a little more clean though the food makes you forget about the surroundings. Worth a try. I tried the famous black and cheese black pav bhaji

If you love spicy food and you are in Vile Parle and you like Pav Bhaji then you should really try Maruti's Pav Bhaji. Its very famous in Vile Parle and its known for its black Pav Bhaji. The color of Pav Bhaji is dark and that's why known as black bhaji. The Bhaji is much spicy but its just delicious. The taste of Pav Bhaji is really good. Must try.
Chirag Gandhi
Not the Maruti Pav Bhaji that we used to have. Bhaji was very watery and tasteless. Also they are not ready to modify when I asked for the bhaji to be made spicy. It was bland, tasteless, horrible and the worst bhaji in town
Kazveen
Pathetic pav bhaji..bad experience
.When called at the place the person was extremely rude and started saying if I want I can collect the refund. Extremely rude ..bad experience..

We have received order from maruti pav bhaji

We paid amount for cheese babu pav but they send plain babu pav.

Food quality was not up to the mark and pav doesn't applied with butter as well.

Pulav is not at all good in taste.
Sheetal
quality and quantity both not right. totally cold. delivery took almost an hour
Monil Chheda
A new trend in Pav Bhaji that is black in color. Loads of spices and veggies the Bhaji tastes yumm. The masala pav has a next level taste that is made in loads of butter and spices. The pulav and the garlic chutney is amazing. Place is crowded but the service is very quick. The aloo chat is also good option to have. And if you don't like spicy you have the option of having babuu pav and sandwich which is less spicy. Worth going place for pav bhaji and spice lovers.

Food 5/5
Service 5/5
Staff 5/5

Craving for Pav Bhaji? Maruti has the best pav bhaji in the town. I swear no one can even make such tatsy pav bhaji. I had Kala pav bhaji and khada pav bhaji. Both were too good in taste

This place is known for its black pan bhajj !
The pan bhaji isn’t black actually.. I would say it is a dull coloured Pav bhaji .. if you compare with the usual vibrant Pav bhaji.

Very basic seating.. apart from Pav bhaji they have other things on the menu like masala pulao and masala pav.

Pav Bhaji is over hyped and not up to the mark.

Masala Pav was too salty!

Pulao is descent.

Staff is least interested in serving.

Visit at your own risk.
Food:
Pav bhaji is quite spicy but it tastes delicious. The masala pav was not good as expected. Overall the food is good.

Place:
Not far from the Vile Parle station, you can go by walk. But the place is very small and congested at some point you feel suffocated.

Service:
Service is fast and good.

Cleanliness and hygiene:
Not a clean place even not a proper place to wash your hand and the Tava on they are making pav bhaji and Pulav is quite open and near the place where people wash thier hands.

This place serves very spicy pav bhaji but it tastes yummy.
I always prefer home delivery because the seating is very unhygienic.
Also, the masala pav is worth trying.
Hot Hot Hot. The most spicy pav bhaji u get in Mumbai is at Maruti Pav Bhaji. These is the most unquie pav bhaji which is black in color. Its super spicy so be sure before u eat. There are 3 brothers in the same lane who sells maruti pav bhaji but the first seller is my favorite. They use butter in pav and bhaji without any limits. If u want to have do visit this place only after 8:00PM. they are not open the whole day. Maruti also sells the most yummy and spicy masala pav and dabeli. Do try Pav Bhaji Lovers 😊
