So we visited to this place to have a good healthy food.
Ambience - Place was small and cosy but the Ambience was superb. On the left side there were mirror amd cycle tyres on plastic grass. On right side they hanged VEGAN and some pictures with awesome quotes.
For Ambience -8.5/10

For Staff Service 9/10
Food - We ordered Bhai Saab Chaap, Paneer Stuffed Chaap, Soya Biryani, Mojito, Masala Lemonade.
Bhai Saab Chaap was the spicest chaap i tried. If you love spicy food, try this.
Paneer Stuffed Chaap was good. Paneer was grinned and stuffed into soya. And they put malai on top. It was really good.
Soya Biryani was really good. The rice was cooked good and put on soya gravy.
Mojito classic drink and masala lemonade.
For Food 9/10
Overall Experience was good. They have very good vegan and jain option also.
Thank God for this closest friend of mine who is a Vegan and told me about this place! Chaap ki Chhap is a vegan restaurant known for their delicious dishes made from soya bean and definitely reminds us of Delhi wale chaap.
Nestled in the lane bang opposite to Westside of DN Nagar, this eatery has a not so good, manageable ambiance and a seating of 2 tables. However, if a huge group of 5-6 will come at a time, then this place would be cramped. I wasn’t convinced about this place at the first look of it but the food experience here clearly changed my mind.
Warning: Please have these dishes hot/warm. You wouldn’t like the taste of it when eaten cold.
Coming to the order:
AGHANI CHAAP (5/5)
Do yourself a favour and try a legit plate of this dish. The soya chunks were so perfectly barbecued and tossed in a super tasty gravy, they just dissolve in your mouth. DIVINE! So gorgeous that that you’ll find it hard to share.
SPECIAL NAAGIN CHAAP (4/5)
I was very curious to know the reason behind the name of this dish. So, I found out while they were barbecuing the soya bean. The soya bean is placed in the grilling rod in curvy shape just like the snakes move. Hence, the name. This dish was very well done, with Indian masalas used, this dish imparted a ton of flavors without being heavy.
MACHHLI ZAMEEN KI (3/5)
I was very keen on trying this dish. However, it simply failed to impress my taste buds. Maybe one of the reason could be that I had it cold. I found it very chewy and the taste was nothing extraordinary
SOYA BIRYANI (5/5)
The biryani they served wasn’t traditional but it couldn’t be more pleasing to the palate. It had the right amount of spice and flavor, with a unique blend of mashed soya. The rice was well cooked and it was exciting and startling in texture and flavor, full scores for this dish.
All the dishes are served with onion as accompaniment. Do taste these dishes with onions, it gives a whole new dimension to the dish. This humble eatery is totally value for money and is must visit if you and your friends/family feel like trying something new.
A one must have experience for the food lovers around the Mumbai...100% vegan Jain food with the blast of all kind of flavors in your mouth..the good food is waiting for you !!
Amazing place, made me feel amazing, was there with few friends, will visit soon!!
This place offers purely 100% vegan food and that too with asking tastes
A highly photogenic wall with adding mirrors and leaves on wall gives more of that natural feeling
The same wall with different version of it such aesthetic and photogenic wall is delight to everyone
Chaap ke chaap is the first vegan dish i ever tasted and it was the most interesting dish I ate today and it made me curious and hungry for more vegan food
Another aesthetic wall with amazing artwork on it and the color of the wall was amazingly vibrant made me wonder about it
Chaap Ki Chhap, as the tagline reads is truly the future of Vegan vegetarian BBQ! Currently there are two branches in Mumbai - one at Ghatkopar East, and other at DN Nagar, both walking distance from the metro/railway station. The menu is 100% Vegetarian, and 95% of the dishes can be made Vegan. There are Vegan versions for butter, cream and cheese. My personal favourites on the menu are - Mango achaari chaap, Afghani Chaap, CKC signature chaap, CKC Vegan cheese gravy chaap, Soya mutton chaap, soya meat chaap and to be frank everything on the menu! Friendly staff and homely atmosphere. A must visit for anyone in Mumbai.

I don't know for how long I have been on a look out for a chaap place in mumbai. When finally a friend came to my rescue and told me about this place in Andheri which serves these soya chaaps. I had them at Delhi during one of my visits and I have become a fan ever since.
Was delighted to be here. The look of the place was of a typical chaap place with various chaaps hanging there like pseudo chickens.
Had the typical most afghani chaap. It was fab!
Good quantity, taste not the greatest but enough for me to enjoy it thoroughly.
I also later ended up ordering the naagin chaap which again was awesome.
Try the place if you are a chaap lover and even if not, do try it once.
Being from Delhi, Finally! I got some hands on soya chaap. Taste is really authentic, freshness of ingredients, and well balanced spices as per individual taste. I tried their signature chaap i.e. CKC with phulka and lachha prantha, Afghani chaap and vegan fish, all dishes were yummilious..A must visit place
This place is really amazing for all those vegetarians who wish they could have variety in kebabs like the way non-vegetarians have! I have tried sp. japani fish n afghani chaap where both had their own unique taste! Also tried mango achari chaap, quite loved it! I'm going to try all of them in the next few days! ;)
Chaap ki chap
Chaap ki Chap is a small place located in andheri west near indian Oil nagar
They have limited seats and the main purpose is home delivery.
its not a place where you would go to find amazing ambience but its that kind of place where you can get soyabean chaap.
The concept of this place is started by a delhi based bussiness man and his brother.
when he initially came to mumbai he saw mumbai has everything regarding food but still something was missing that was soyabean chaap and so he decided to get the concept to Mumbai.
Tikka Malai Maar ke- Barbecued Chaap.
it tasted amazing topped with fresh cream and cheese.
Spicy Chaap- it was extremely spicy with chopped chillies and garam masala added.
Mysterious- One of the best soya chaap garnished with fresh cream.it was
medium spicy.
it takes 15 mins for chaap to get cooked. So one should be prepared to wait. meanwhile you can talk to owners as they are friendly in nature.
Pricewise its reasonable. Hope they open more branches in Mumbai.
A small restaurant but the food is full of flavours. A must try for vegetarians and non vegetarians too. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant but you'll be surprised to see fish, chicken and mutton mentioned in the menu. They serve chaap(soya based stuff) in various styles. Do try the Nagin chaap for starters...and mutton chaap gravy... You'll not believe it's not a non veg dish. Very yummy. The lacchha paratha was a delight to have with the gravy.
Great chaap. For the people unfamiliar with the food, it is made out of soy, and tastes very similar to meat. This is a great place for vegans to try, and Amit the owner is very accommodating and understand what vegan is. He went out of the way to get vegan dahi and vegan ice cream for a lunch that we had gone for. A must visit place for all vegans and Indian food lovers.
